EXTREME Quarantine Glow-Up✨💖💨 #CheriePartner
I’m gonna be honest- I put on makeup maaaybe 1-2 times per week to go out. Wearing a mask everyday means I focus mainly on only my eye makeup as it’s the only part of me people can see. But it’s always mood-boosting to put on some makeup, fix up my hair and walk around the house with a “full on” look! The picture on the left is me basically on most days. I have all my skincare products on, my SPF and a sheer skin tint like ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 . It’s my favorite skin tint for most days because it’s sheer and adds a little extra SPF. My hair is also a greasy mess because it’s usually in a bun on top of my head. The picture on the right is me with my old “go-to face of makeup”, slightly waved hair and a white linen shirt. I say old “go-to” because it’s not my “normal” look for everyday anymore! I have no place to go! *sigh* This look consists of: ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer in 2W A medium coverage concealer that offers a smooth, radiant finish on the skin. HOURGLASS - Illume Sheer Color Trio A creamy, pigmented and long-wearing set of cream cheek products to bronze, blush and highlight. CHANEL - BAUME ESSENTIEL Multi-Use Glow Stick A high-shine highlight stick that has zero glitter and offers a reflective finish on the skin. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil A super skinny brow pencil with a waxy formula that can draw on hair-like strokes through the brow. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Gel A whipped brow gel with amazing hold- and super affordable! DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner The best waterproof, extremely pigmented liquid eyeliner that doesn’t smudge, flake or bleed! MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara A high-hold waterproof mascara that keeps your lashes long, volumized and curled all day. Hair: ghd - Rose Gold Platinum+ Styler Set I put a few waves in my hair by bending a section of hair backwards and forwards. This creates a super soft wave effect for naturally volumized hair. Nature Lab. - Perfect Shine Oil Mist This lightweight, shine-boosting oil is a heat-protectant and style finisher all-in one! What is your go-to routine for a “Glow Up”?

MY HAIR ROUTINE *chemically-treated & damaged*✨
Shampoo: OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo This is the shampoo I use the most- it really helps to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. It keeps my hair color from fading, strengthens each strand and is great at cleansing my hair without stripping it of its natural oils! Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo This helps remove any product build up in my hair and definitely leaves my hair feeling super clean. I use this probably just once a month as it’s super clarifying and can dry out my hair. Fanola - No Yellow Shampoo I use this one once every few washes to maintain my hair color. It’s the most potent purple shampoo (that’s also super inexpensive!) I’ve ever used and one bottle lasts around 8 months for me. I lather it into my hair, tie up my hair in a bun so it doesn’t drip purple water all over the shower while I exfoliate, shave, etc. and after 10 mins rinse it out. Conditioner: Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask I use this hair mask in lieu of conditioner because I already take several days to wash my hair so why not use every hair wash opportunity to treat my hair too? This hair mask is super lush- it smells amazing and also leaves my hair super soft. Treatment: OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector This is such a popular hair treatment for people who have damaged or chemically treated hair! I love this so much because I can truly feel and see a difference in my hair. I apply this like I would a hair mask to my hair before showering and I’ll leave it in for 15-20 minutes before following with my usual shampoo and conditioner. Oils: OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil Nature Lab. - Perfect Shine Oil Mist Honestly both these hair oils are super similae in what they do for my hair. They keep my strands super soft and shiny withgout looking greasy. They help to protect hair from heat (so I apply it throughout my hair before blowdrying or using any type of hot tool) and also help to add shine and tame frizz after I’ve styled my hair.

Calling all my fine and thin haired fam!!
Having super thin and limp hair is NOT fun. My entire life my hair was always think and frizzy. It took forever to dry and straighten and I hated it. I took it for granted and I wish more than anything I could have that hair back. 😩 I started losing my hair at a really fast rate a little after my daughter was born. I went to a bunch of doctors and they kept telling me nothing was wrong even though I also felt really horrible. Well long story short I was FINALLY diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Hashimotos and a couple other things and got on thyroid meds. My hair loss has slowed but not stopped completely. Enter in...... Nature Lab. - Volume Shampoo & Conditioner Duo When I say I can not be more thankful I found this brand I MEAN it!! This shampoo and conditioner gives me serious volume!! Key ingredients: APPLE STEM CELLS- Replenishes and maintains a balanced and healthy scalp which works to prevent premature hair loss. RICE PROTEIN- Builds volume, adds weightless moisture, and improves the overall appearance of fine, thin hair. SOY PROTEIN- Strengthens and restores hair’s natural thickness by reducing breakage to appear fuller and more robust. SAKURA EXTRACT- Proprietary technology fostering color protection, locking in hair color brightness and increasing moisture. FREE OF Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Animal Testing, Animal Cruelty, Animal Derived Ingredients. 🐰 My experience: As you can see in the 1st picture. My hair looks pretty thin and that’s with other volume styling products from another brand, In the second picture, you can see how thin my hair is on top BUT you can see the ginormous LIFT I get after using my Naturelab set. ( I know the picture is silly 😜 but go with it 😂) The third picture shows how my hair looks after styling. I have never had a shampoo and conditioner give me that much volume before!!! It smells incredibly good as well. I am actually expecting an order today of the volume mist and volume jelly so from here on out I can live out my 1980’s Farrah Fawcet fantasy 😂😂 I won’t be straying from this brand it truly is AMAZING!! I’ll update once I use the new products but if you are dealing with hair issues like me, DEFINITELY give it a try!! Oh! The best part! They aren’t expensive 🙌🏻🙌🏻 The set is only $28.00!!!! An all natural, cruelly free, hair brand that WORKS and it’s not expensive..... need I say more?!

These are a few of my favorite things 🥰🥰
Hopiping on the new beauty buys trend!! These are some products I have gotten within the past month that are amazing!!!! First up is Nature Lab. - Volume Shampoo & Conditioner Duo I have never been so excited about shampoo and conditioner before!! These beauties are made with 🍎 stem cells and rice protein and it smells better than any shampoo and conditioner I have EVER bought!! I badly need volume because I’m losing so much hair doe to health reasons and both of these give me that even when I use a flatiron! They have a line for every hair type and they are clean and vegan 🌱! All around an amazing brand!! $28 for the duo!! high - High Five Cannabis Seed Facial Moisturizer This moisturizer has a really high level of Cannabis sativa seed oil, certified organic plant oils, high-potency antioxidants and pure plant essential oils. It has a wonderful earthy plant like smell but very faint. I honestly worried about this moisturizer being a bit too heavy for my face on normal days but it really isn’t it’s just a really good nice hydrating feeling. It toned down my redness as well which I love! I think this would be great for all skin types! SAINT JANE - Luxury CBD Beauty Serum This is a seriously expensive serum let’s get that out of the way! It’s $125 for an oz. of serum 🥺🥺 So this will not be a repurchase but it’s really really great! It’s got 500 mg. CBD. Along with grape seed oil and sunflower oil amount a few other things. This is a dry skin HOLY GRAIL without a doubt! I used this on a dry patch I had one evening after probably overdoing it with the skin care products. The next morning there wasn’t a hint of flakiness or that dry spot whatsoever on my face. I’m not sure if I could call it healing but that’s what it seems like to me. This little baby will be held until I have winter emergencies!! Bumble and bumble. - Bb.Thickening Spray I know that this product has been around quite a while but this is my first try using it. Like I said above I’m having a lot of issues losing my hair and it’s almost depressing sometimes. This I have been using if I’m gonna leave the house it gives me that extra oomph that my hair needs and it stays that way! It doesn’t have much of a scent which is totally fine but it’s probably the best thickening spray that I’ve used and I’ve definitely used a lot of them. If you have flat or thinning hair I highly recommend trying this! And finally my newest fall lippie purchase, stila - Stay All Day Sheer Liquid Lipstick in the shade portofino. It’s a perfect fall mauve color and I am in loooove! I love Stila’s liquid lip formula. It’s thin and doesn’t dry my lips out! I normally apply this and then a thin layer of Dr. lips balm and it lasts a really long time! This is one of those colors that goes with almost anything so it’s a great purchase!

Healthy hair for days | 💈💇🏻‍♀️🌱
Nature Lab. - Repair Treatment Masque After years of being a hair model and dyeing my hair into oblivion, I’ve had my natural hair back & growing out from a shaved head for three years. I’ve been babying it for most of that time, trying to make sure it knows I love it despite the turmoil I put it through, lol. I received the Nature Lab Tokyo Perfect Repair Treatment Masque in my fall FabFitFun box and have given it a go the last 4 times I’ve washed my hair. I was extremely skeptical when seeing this was chosen by FFF for my box, however, I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I like it! What I love about it: ✨ Deep conditioning sounds like a hassle at first, but this masque makes it so straight forward. Just put it on from root to tip after shampooing (or simply onto wet hair while you’re showering), let it sit for 3-5 minutes, and rinse it out. Easy as that! ✨ Smart keratin technology and stem cells rejuvenate the hair, penetrating the scalp and restoring shine. Your hair will be stronger having used this only once, and way healthier with continued use. ✨ This acts as a heat protecting shield for those of us who use hot tools to style on a daily basis, and is safe for use on colour treated hair. You don’t need to worry about your dye job being ruined because you want silky locks that even Rapunzel would envy. ✨ Nature Lab uses their Japanese roots to create harmony between tradition and innovation. They’re cruelty-free and big on using the environment’s bounty of botanicals to create healthier hair, starting with the scalp. Since my hair has grown out so much, I’m looking for new hair products to try in order to keep it as healthy as possible. Nature Lab’s masque was an awesome start and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on more of their products in the future. 💆🏻‍♀️ What’s your favourite hair mask? Tell me about some of your top picks for hair health below! 💡

I think it's safe to say that naturelab products can do no wrong, at least on my hair. The Perfect Repair set- shampoo, conditioner, and a hair mask. Previously I've tried and reviewed the volume and shine lines, so even though the formulation is different, I knew what to expect- a shampoo that lathers and cleans without stripping, and a conditioner that nourishes my hair without weighing it down. Which is exactly what it did! I haven't had a chance to use the mask yet. Anyway, this line is what its name suggests: haircare that helps to repair damaged hair and/or protects it. It is also meant to help prevent color fading, but since I don't due my hair I can't speak to that. Its powerhouse ingredients are bamboo stem cells (strengths and promotes growth), smart keratin (protects), argan oil (conditions), and prickly pear oil (antioxidant). The set is $44, which I think is a pretty good price point considering the high quality of the products. Ultimately, I prefer the smooth/shine line for my hair, but would definitely recommend this one to anyone whose hair needs a bit of R&R!

Texture Tuesday!! 😍😍
I wanted to feature some of my very favorite skincare textures!! ELEMIS - Superfood Facial Wash I adore this cleanser. It cleans so well and soothes my red skin! Nature Lab. - Shine Clarifying Scalp Scrub If you like scalp scrubs and haven’t tried this one you are seriously missing out!! I have tried almost every single one and this is the very best, hands down!! PACIfICA - Guacamole Whip Face & Body Mask I rate this a 3 for my face but a 5 for my body! This is perfect if you have dry skin on your face and body. It’s heavy so I’d say normal to dry for face only. bliss - Green Tea Wonder Mask This is my go-to overnight mask when I’m breaking out. By morning my bumps look much less red and smaller!! bliss - Mint Chip Mania Mask This is my mask I love on severe dry skin days. It has she’s butter so it’s pretty heavy but doesn’t leave my face greasy. Just super soft. What’s your favorite texture of all of your skincare items? 🤔

Self care item you’re missing
Why do you need to use a scalp scrub? 🤔 🧼If you use a ton of products, if your hair is super oily, or if you have any flakiness or dandruff, then you need to try one! ❤️ Exfoliating regularly can help hair grow naturally thicker, shinier, and less oily. 💖This is my second try with this Nature Lab Scalp scrub and I’m in looooove 💞 I didn’t know your head could feel as clean as it does after using. This even extends the days I have to wash my hair because it’s so super oily usually. Naturelab included probiotic sake water to balance your skin’s pH, and ultra-hydrating Hyaluronic Acid for shine. It’s $16.00 for 8.1oz. so it’s a budget find!! Instructions: Once a week, apply scrub on damp hair from scalp to ends in a circular motion and rinse. The only reason I gave this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was because if you have thick or long hair it can be difficult to get it down into your scalp but it’s worth it!!

Empties 🥂

💕KOSÉ Softymo (
Empties 🥂 💕KOSÉ Softymo ($9) is the best value cleansing oil on Amazon. It’s a bit less thick and hydrating than the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, but it’s a third of the price and very effective. Last me for months. 💕naturelabtokyo Perfect Smooth Shampoo ($28) is a delight. Smelled like yuzu lemon and left my hair feeling clean and weightless. That being said, I’m currently using a shampoo from their Perfect Volume line which is even more conditioning, which I like more. 💕Laneige Water Bank Hydrating Gel ($35) - Holy grail moisturizer. Lightweight yet with enough creaminess to lock in moisture longer than competitors. Smells like bedtime.

Pretty good oil for heat protection. Nature lab Tokyo has some of the best shampoos I’ve tried so I really wanted to try this mist. On the rare occasions I straighten my hair I apply this oil most about a couple min before and make sure to massage it in. I avoid my roots. I’ve tried to straighten my hair without this mist and I can honestly say I notice a difference, this kind of prevents my hair from getting frizzy all day and it’s definitely a plus. It also smells really good. Also a little spray goes a longgggg way so try to be careful. The bottom/tips of my hair are pretty dry and kinda brittle so I like to spray some oil on it a few times a week. I’ve been doing this for about 3 weeks now and I’m so glad i started doing this, my hair is getting so much softer and has a shine. Nature Lab. - Perfect Shine Oil Mist

I’m super into this perfect vo
I’m super into this perfect volume shampoo and conditioner set by NatureLab Tokyo, and not just because the packaging is some of the coolest I've ever seen! It's actually meant for fine hair (aka my opposite) but I decided I was too curious not to try, and I'm glad I did! The shampoo lathers up really well without stripping my hair of moisture, and the conditioner was surprisingly effective at detangling my hair. I also have a super dry scalp, and this definitely helped to soothe (one of the highlighted ingredients is apple stem cells) and hydrate. Plus, with the light cherry blossom scent, they left my hair smelling amazing! I did my normal hair styling routine afterwards (tiny bit with a hair dryer, then brushed back into a bun to air dry) and I definitely noticed more definition in my waves/curls, as well as overall volume. Bonus: it's free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, as well as cruelty free! As far as repurchasing goes, I have a bunch more products to get through first, but after that I would definitely come back to this!

natureperfected  the Perfect S
natureperfected  the Perfect Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner ($14). naturelabtokyo is a Japanese-based botanical haircare brand, and I was excited to try these products out - not least of all because of the unique packaging! ❤️ Ingredients: Argan stem cells, quinoa, yuzu, ceramides. This brand is big on plant-derived ingredients, and I’ve read that ceramides in shampoos bind to the hair shaft to prevent moisture loss. These products are labeled as color-protectant as well. ❤️Experience: I use about two pumps of each while showering. They have a fresh yuzu scent (similar to a springtime lemon). I like how light these products are; My hair gets oily really easily, and some conditioners can make my hair feel really weighted down. I don’t have that problem here. Additionally, my hair feels straighter and silkier after each wash. ✨VERDICT: I recommend the Smooth line for people with thin to medium hair on the combination or oily side. The packaging is fun, the yuzu scent is delightful, and it leaves hair feeling clean and smooth. Plus, the price point is only slightly higher than the Pantene Micellar line and is less expensive than Tsubaki. I understand why these were an allure Best of Beauty winner!

NaturePerfected Perfect Volume
NaturePerfected Perfect Volume kit, I was 💆🏻‍♀️ 🧖🏻‍♀️Key Ingredients: Apple stem cells, rice proteins, soy proteins, Sakura extract. The Perfect Smooth shampoo and conditioner that I’ve been using for longer has yuzu ceramides and quinoa, rather than Sakura. 🧖🏻‍♀️Experience: I love naturelabtokyo products because they incorporate Asian ingredients and scents, their packaging makes my shower look like a mad scientist’s lab, and they leave my hair feeling clean and weightless. That weightlessness is key, especially since my hair leans oily. 🧖🏻‍♀️ VERDICT: These have been my favorite haircare products for the last few months. They’re also affordable as well: You can get the shampoo and conditioner duo for $28, and the blowout jelly is $14. These have replaced my Tsubaki Shiseido haircare products!
