How gorgeous are these beauties from lani hair?! I love their bright packaging 😍Here’s my first impressions... • The Tropical body treatment is a gorgeous blend of oils that smells divine! It’s like a rich, coconut, vanilla - just lovely! It contains coconut oil, sweet almond oil, baobab oil, camellia oil, moringa and ylang ylang. I applied this to my skin after showering. It very hydrating, left my skin soft, supple and smelling fabulous! It’s very similar to a rituals body oil I tried with one difference - this is a fraction of the price! • The Tropical Hair Treatment is also an oil. It’s designed to replenish hair, protect it from damage and leave it soft and shiny! It’s meant to be applied to dry hair and left to work it’s magic for 30 mins or more. It can even be left on overnight for a super treat! I love that it’s applied to dry hair, most other hair treatments are applied on wet hair and it drives me mad! It’s such a faff and I’m too lazy 🙈 This smells just as good as the body treatment. It washed out easily and left my hair looking and feeling amazing! Love it 🙌🏻

Today it’s all about these 2 lani hair treasures, which are veritable drinks of ultimate hydration for your hair and body! 🐠 Tropical Hair Treatment: alright, you guys. This one? This one blew me tf away. Heed my words: what’s in this bottle is MAGIC. I had pretty average expectations for this one, not gonna lie. I just haven’t really used anything like this before, and I was like meh, we’ll see. This is an ultra rich and intensively conditioning hair treatment that you can use as a 30-minute pre-wash treatment, overnight treatment, or as a frizz-taming serum. Made with just camellia seed oil, coconut oil, Kukui nut oil and macadamia nut oil, it’s supposed to soften and rehydrate, protect against split ends and breakage, help recover damaged and brittle hair, and then some. I chose to use this as an overnight treatment for maximum results and guys, I was astounded by the results. This left my hair so soft and conditioned that I did not find the need to use conditioner in the shower, or even leave-in conditioner post-shower. Yes, I’m serious. I was SHOOK. I applied this treatment to the bottom half of my hair and washed the top half of my hair, then applied leave-in conditioner to only the top half of my hair, and my strands are still smooth and soft af! This is automatically a holy grail item, and at only $18.30USD for 3.5 fl oz, it is an amazing*value. I’ll be repurchasing forever. 🌺 Tropical Body Treatment: another amazing product! This guy is made with sweet almond oil, coconut oil, camellia oil, Baobab oil, Moringa seed oil, and ylang ylang oil. This is a lightweight body oil meant to soothe dry patches, support skin elasticity, reduce signs of body aging, target stretch marks and infuse the skin with a long lasting moisture boost. I’m really happy with this oil! It really does sink in pretty fast and makes my skin feel so supple and moisturized for hours, you guys. And for just $20.91 for 3.5 fl oz, it’s another amazing value!

🥥 Tropical Coconut Face Polish buffs away and impurities. Nourishing coconut, smoothing rice and gently polish to target blocked , remove dull build-up and restore softness. . ☀️ This little jar of sunshine was so useful on my trip. I yearned for that gentle physical exfoliation over chemical because I was so darn greasy and it did not disappoint! At first, I just used it as a scrub after double cleansing, but half way th my trip I realized I bt too small of a travel sized cleanser and had to ration it for the last week I was there… This guy was perfect to mix with to stretch it and add to the clean feeling…I never felt stripped or over exfoliated, what I did feel was confident that all the dirt and impurities had been lifted away. . 🤓 Its powde format lends itself nicely to be mixed into many a cleansing or mag cocktail... It also goes a long way to preserving the shelf life of this all-natural product. There are 5 easily recognizable ingients of food grade quality. As a girl that grew up in the Caribbean, coconut is ubiquitous, yet I’ve never experienced it in this way…but it works so well! Coconut milk powder to polish your face…who knew?? We cook with coconut milk powder all the time, so the aroma is nostalgic in all the right ways for me. ✨ My felt brighter, smoother and nourished using this polish. It has clean thoughtful ingients, a delightful scent, texture and packaging… not to mention an accessible price point and free worldwide shipping. This one easily gets the stamp of approval! 👍🏽💛

Today I want to talk Physical Exfoliation - something I didn’t think I was into. I’ve had this Lani Tropical Coconut Face Polish for a long time, but the condition of my skin just never really warranted a physical exfoliant, since I’m usually pretty into my AHA’s. But I was getting extremely gnarly flakiness but didn’t want to use any more actives on my face. SO it was finally time to try this! I had heard say it was gentle so I thought it would probably be a good choice. It’s a very fine scrub, and it is a lot more effective then I had expected. I recommend being very gentle when using it, because it can really give you quite an intense scrub if you’re too vigorous with the scrubbing motion. That said, I’m a fan. The scrub is extremely fine and there are no junky ingredients that will irritate the skin, so it’s pretty safe to use for different skin types IMO. On top of that, it’s a fair price at $24 USD 🙂

Today I masked with Lani's Tropical Cacao Detox Mask, and am I in loveee! 💙This lovely guy here is made with antioxidant-rich raw cacao, creamy coconut milk and hydrating coconut water. The Australian clay in here is going to deep clean pores, absorb excess oil and draw out toxins, while the anti-inflammatory properties of aloe vera, healing turmeric and vitamin C are going to tone and brighten the skin 💙 I truly, truly appreciate the ingredient list here - everything is recognizable and pronounceable, and the list is very short 💙 As if the cacao powder alone wasn't already mouthwatering, it's a challenge not to eat this mask after you've mixed it with water, which turns the mask into a heavenly mousse. Not a paste, a mousse. A chocolate mousse. A chocolate mousse that you're supposed to slather on your face. 💙 Once this guy dried on my face I did get that uncomfortable tight feeling. It is a clay mask after all. What's great about mixing the powder with the water is that the volume of the liquid result is exponentially more voluminous than the plain powder form - in other words, just a couple conservative spoonfuls with a bit of water and 2 people can mark with this (I had to convince bae that this was not edible) 💙 I am happy to report that this mask comes off real easily, and you won't be standing at the sink for 5 whole minutes trying to get it off your face. An added bonus is that there is a slight exfoliating effect when washing it off! I'm so here for it 💙 End result? Brighter, smoother skin. My pores looked real good, and while my face wasn't much softer it did feel much smoother in texture, and I noticed a subtle brightening effect. I'm a huge fan of this one, you guys - it is so unique! Now, when you try it for yourself, does it look like you've just smeared 💩 or 🍫? You can be the judge 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know some of you have already tried the Lani_hair products so here are my thoughts! I’m so in love with everything about them! If you aren’t familiar, it is an affordable, natural, vegan, cruelty-free skin and hair care company out of England made with delicious tropical ingredients. 🌴 Tropical Cacao Detox Mask. A powder mask (my fav kind) that transforms into a fluffy mousse upon contact with water – and it smells amazing! Most “detox” masks dry out my skin if I use them more than twice a week, but not this one! I can use it every other morning with no issues! Good for all skin types! 🌴 Tropical Coconut Face Polish. A powder face polish that combines with water to form a paste which gently buffs away dead skin cells without stripping the skin. This is a must-have for my textured skin, especially in the winter since I suffer from dry patches! This polish keeps my skin baby soft! It’s safe for all skin types! 🌴 Tropical Hair Treatment. A multi-use hair treatment and also my best friend! It can be used as an overnight treatment, a pre-shampoo treatment and a frizz taming serum. It works best for me as a pre-shampoo treatment 3x a week. It leaves my hair super soft, skin, and easy to manage. A little goes a very long way too! Yes, Perfect for ALL hair types! 🌴 Tropical Body Treatment/Oil. An amazingly scented body oil that targets stretch marks, dry patches, etc. and most importantly, absorbs FAST! It’s been working great on my eczema patches, knees, elbows, cuticles, and anywhere that gets flakey! 🌴 Tropical Super Serum. An award winning lightweight oil-based serum that locks in moisture, increases elasticity, and so many other benefits. This is one of my fav oils to mix with my foundation. It gives me a nice dewy glow and never appears oily. Great for all skin types! 🌴

Current hair care selections
I
Current hair care selections I had seen this pearlessence dry shampoo at winners a couple times, and tbh I had low expectations since it was always there. I figured I would give it a try anyway since I go through a lot of dry shampoo (greasy hair problems). To my surprise it’s actually good! It smells nice and it’s very lightweight- not thick and powdery like a lot of other dry shampoos, doesn’t leave a white cast on my brown hair. I’m obsessed with the smell of the OGX coconut miracle line. Would definitely repurchase these, the price is not bad at all and it makes my hair feel nice since it’s sulfate free. Last but not least, still loving this Lani leave in oil treatment - I sleep with it in once or twice a week and I see the difference after I wash it out the next morning. It gives my hair more bounce and shine.

These are a few of my [new] favorite tings! 🥰🥰
These are a few of my [new] favorite tings! 🥰🥰
YSL gifted me some of their newest Pure Shots serums and although I just started using them, my first impressions are great so far. The serums are very lightweight, absorb well into the skin, and even with their added fragrance and denatured alcohol, I haven't had any sensitivity to it yet. Also their packaging is really beautiful and I love that they are refillable but, one thing to note is that the inner tube detaches so easily! Otherland candle in Moonstruck with notes of sweet myrrh, smoked birch, and white mahogany. A candle so beautiful that I haven't been able to stop burning it. Herbivorebotanicals Lapis Facial Roller. I love using this roller after my evening skincare routines. It helps me to relax and the blue stone is absolutely stunning. Lani_hair's newest Bian Beauty Stone. I've really been loving its unique shape which helps me to get into some of the areas the roller doesn't quite reach. This stone hugs the curves of your face and I love using this right after my lapis roller. All products have been kindly gifted but opinions are always my own! Happy Friday/weekend! ❤

Lani’s Tropical Cocoa Detox Ma
Lani’s Tropical Cocoa Detox Mask👅 TwelveDaysofBB Day 8 - Good Enough to Eat and TRUST ME. This bitch smells good enough to eat. Like delicious brownie batter has been drizzled all over you. This baby has the most beautiful ingredient list so read with me and weep. •kaolin & smectite clay base •coconut milk powder •cocoa powder •vitamin c •coconut water •aloe •turmeric 👏🏻AND👏🏻THATS👏🏻IT👏🏻! Literally such an incredible, beneficial blend of ingredients make up this mask. Iconic. This mask feels much more gentle than a traditional clay mask. The coconut milk powder really gives it a foamy, soft consistency when mixed with water- think spreading chocolate mousse on your face. It doesn’t leave your face tight at ALL after removal, so it’s a great option if you want a deep cleansing mask without all the drying/sometimes irritating effects of a regular clay mask. In conclusion, this mask is such a great versatile option to deep cleanse (clays), as well as brighten (Vitamin c) and nourish/revitalize (coconut water, aloe). Essentially, this one mask is delivering the results that people aim to achieve by double or triple-masking. My lazy ass loves the idea of targeting multiple concerns in one sitting all while smelling like a whole ass brownie👏🏻

🌊 I’m fond of simple formulas
🌊 I’m fond of simple formulas with easily recognizable skin loving ingredients and this TropicalSuperSerum from lani_hair is a perfect example. . . . ✨Watermelon, marula, jojoba and camellia seed oils make up most of the formula making this a wonderful multitasking travel companion. I’m so oily when I touch down in the Caribbean and finding the right skincare is a delicate balance. I’ve been using this oil serum as a body oil and nighttime moisturizer... my skin feels so smooth, soft and radiant.... love it!!!.... . . . 💙 This can also be layered under a moisturizer if more hydration is needed, is quite affordable when compared to some of its counterparts and the jasmine flower oil gives it the most delightful delicate fragrance. A new staple for my skincare collection that will probably accompany me on all my travels.
