my favorite serums!☺️
hello everyone! today i am sharing three of my favorite serums that i use everyday. i have done more in depth reviews on both the face milk and the niacinamide if you are interested, but here are some quick reviews of my three favorite serums☺️ personally i have very oily, acne prone skin, and i have really terrible acne scars on one prt of my face. ive had a very hard time controlling my acne, but these serums help. my acne scars are only getting worse though, so my mom might have me go to a dermatologist 😐 anyways, these products do do a lot of great things for all skin types! my favorite of the three is The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% ! this product is really affordable, i think its about $7. i cant afford much else, nor do i u understand why people would pay $30+ for nearly the same exact forumula😂 this product is made with 10% niacinamide, which is a really great ingredient for acne. this has minimized my pores SIGNIFICANTLY, and has reduced my redness as well. it helps control my oil, and has helped heal my less-severe acne marks fast. it feels like a watery gel, and absorbs really fast!💧 this product is also great for older people, as it helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles! next is my Fourth Ray - Watermelon Face Milk . im not sure if this technically qualifies as a serum because its a “face milk”, but regardless its quite good. its a moisturizing face milk that is made for people with oily skin! fourth ray makes others for other skin types, too. this formula is made with watermelon, which helps calm irritation and boost collagen production! 🍉 everytime i use it, it makes my skin feel sooo hydrated! it has a very milky texture, and soaks into the skin pretty fast. i dont really understand why people dont like this product 🤷🏼‍♀️ finally is my newest product, The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA . this product is a skin lightening product (but not a skin bleaching product as those are very harmful). this targets things like hyperpigmentation and dark spots. ive been using it recently only on the patch of my face that has acne scars, because i dont want to lighten my freckles. it has done a pretty good job for my less severe acne scars, but my severe ones are going to need some more taking care of😣 this product is the same exact texture as the niacinamide. its also absorbs quite fast, too. its $8.90, so its also quite inexpensive! i just wish it could take away my purple acne marks, but i guess not😔 anyways, lemme know what u think of these products in the comments! dont forget to follow and cheer for more☺️ #CheriePartner

So what exactly are serums?
So you have your basic routine down but you still have some skincare concerns. That’s where serums come in! Serums are designed to deliever concentrated doses of active ingredients to the skin. They can either be specific to one active or a blend of many actives. My two favorite serums at the moment are The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics and GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum . I have oily yet dehydrated skin that is acne prone with redness and some post acne hyperpigmentation. For me, I look for serums that help with oil control, pigmentation lightening, and bringing hydration into the skin. The Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum has been an absolutely must in my routine. I’ve gone through two bottles already. I like it a lot better than The Ordinary version. It’s a little bit thicker than your typical serum consistency but it absorbs really easily. It doesn’t have that tacky or pill like effect some serums can have. You can use this during the day or night but I personally use this at night at the first step in my routine after I cleanse my face. I’ve been using this for months now and I’ve seen such a huge reduction in hyperpigmentation, redness, and oiliness of my skin. Now in the morning is when I use The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics. I wasn’t a fan of their hyaluronic acid as it pills up on me. Unlike the thicker consistency that is this is very water like. I’ll wash my face in the morning and while it’s still wet I’ll apply this serum. That way the water on my face is being driven into the skin to add hydration. This is perfect for all skin types but especially my oily but dehydrated people as it’s going to give you hydration but not feel heavy. The best part is they are both inexpensive. They are $6 and $6.80 respectively. What are your favorite serums?

My current skin routine
I have been using the extra time to better maintain my skincare and here is my current routine. I have oily skin that is easily prone to acne, like wear makeup and later that day there’s a pimple somewhere on my face. (Usually my chin). I am on a budget so if anyone can recommend dupes for these I would be more than willing to try it! 🌞 Morning Routine 🌞 boscia - Clear Complexion Cleanser I really like this cuz it doesn’t strip my natural oils but I still feel like it got all the grossness off my face. My skin usually looks fresh without feeling stiff or dried out. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner I have huge pores and this stuff is just amazing to me. I have noticed that my pores do look smaller and I love the fresh smell of watermelon as opposed to the candy based smell often found. I recommend it to anyone who has oily skin but doesn’t want their skin to feel stripped Fourth Ray - Matcha Face Milk I recently added this to help my skin clear our more since matcha is supposed to be good for acne skin. I honestly am not sure if it’s done much for my skin yet cuz I’m still testing but no bad reactions so far! BIOSSANCE - BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel I have dark circles naturally and this helps lighten those circles! I literally see a difference when I am putting it on and I love it! I will probably buy again unless I can find something similar for cheaper fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer I needed a lighter moisturizer for my day routine because anything to heavy is just bad for my skin and so far I love how light this is and my skin feels amazing without feeling greasy. Just wish it was cheaper! 🌛Nighttime Routine *🌜 *This is very similar to my day routine but some differences so I won’t go into detail of the products I already mentioned fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash I recently have been trying this and don’t think I will end up buying again. It feels gentle but it doesn’t feel like it works well with my skin. I like to exfoliate 1-3 times a week depending how much my skin suffered that week but My skin didn’t feel cleaned just dry. I don’t think I’ll buy this again. I will just wash my face with my regular cleanser when I’m not exfoliating. Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum I bought at the same time as the matcha and with this I can see a difference for my skin. I tested it by putting it in my T zone because it’s the worse part and I saw my whiteheads on my chin drop significantly OLAY - Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream this is a heavier cream so I save for night use. I was using it during the day and hated how greasy it made me feel all day so I changed it to night and now it fits for my skin routine but I want to find something better to replace it when I am out.

Nails and makeup match
I am just so proud of having done this nail polish design myself that I rounded up everything that matched 😍 tbh, there was no coincidence these GUERLAIN - Météorites Highlighting Powder Pearls go perfectly because I did polka dots to match the little meteorites from the start even though I’m not a huge fan of the blush itself.. I dont find ir pigmented enough for me and it just smells so strong (why is blush so overly perfumed??) and I dont even mind fragrance. This was just too much- but hey, it looks pretty! I cant find the names of all the nail polishes right now but they’re all listed in a previous post, but the gel setter top coat is GOAT and you need it.

My affordable morning routine- with alternatives
Good Morning lovelies, So being a mom of a very busy toddler, I see these wonderful morning routines posted but 1. The products arnt affordable of 2. There are steps that are just impossible for me. Like using a facial mask it always falls off or my toddler picks at it. So here’s my easy morning routine with options of a switch up should it be needed. I start off washing my face with warm water to wash away my nighttime skincare. I then most my face with pixi - Vitamin Wakeup Mist .. I then add a dime full of Fourth Ray - Rainfall 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is like giving your skin a drink of water in the morning. I use Fourth Ray - Remedy 10% Niacinamide Serum twice a day it helps with the skin barrier and pores along with skin clarity and again it’s just a dime size. my last serum is#Fourth Ray - Cactus Serum[products]#[FiveStars] cactus is known to have vitamin A which speeds up healing, prevents breakouts, and supports the skins immunity. It gives your skin a healthy glow. (I’m going to do a separate post about this as it’s so beneficial for your skin!) Moving on I use #Fourth ray - Oat facemilk[products]#[FiveStars] it is amazing for helping lock in your serums there is no fragrance so it’s great for sensitive skins. For my moisturizer I have two, in the fall and winter I use Aveeno - Absolutely Ageless Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 however during the spring and summer I use VICHY - Idéal Soleil Sport - Ultra-Light Refreshing Lotion SPF 60 because the SPF is higher. Now there are two products that are a little high in the budget but they are worth it. Both of those moisturizers are non greasy and my makeup goes on great with them I don’t have any peeling. Now 2 - 3 times a week I use Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum and #Vichy - Neovadiol[products]#[FiveStars] And that is the end of my morning routine ! It’s actually very fast even though there are around 5 products used. And I’ve noticed since I started this my wrinkles are fading my skin looks clear and smooth and my pores are shrinking. Anyway have a great day!

Say whaaaaa?!?!
EXCUSE ME? 16 DOLLARS ?!? What an absolute steal. I love this serum, it applies so smoothly and I’ve noticed my skin staying moisturized for longer after only using this product for 3 days. The ingredients are pretty straight forward and clearly work well with other products, definitely easy to layer. Overall 10/10 Fourth Ray - Rainfall 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum PROS: Wonderful consistency, affordable, quick results CONS: packaging feels “cheap”

Fourth Ray Beauty Skin Milks
Fourth Ray - Turmeric Face Milk Fourth Ray - Feelin' Plumpy Face Milk Kit ok ok so I bought the kit because I was impatient for the turmeric to come in the mail, and I only bought the turmeric because I didn’t want to pay shipping for the Full Beat sponge kit. Buuuuut I’m glad I did because these all do different things that I definitely need. Turmeric: “will brighten the complexion for an overall healthy glow” Coconut: “delivers intensive nourishing, softening and balancing properties” Watermelon: “will replenish hydration for a healthier, softer complexion” Papaya: “will replenish and condition the complexion” So far so good, they do what they say! Just don’t put them near your eyes, it does sting...I’ve learned... the hard way..... They are scented but doesn’t bother my dry sensitive skin. They’re an added step I’m going to use under moisturizer now that it’s getting dry and cold where I live

My nighty night skin care routine
I tried to show my skin care from start to finish. I start with Fourth Ray - BFD Cleansing Oil cleaner gets rid of SPF, Sebum, blackheads, waterproof makeup, eyelash glue which I find can be so hard to remove and pollutants from the skin. I use a bamboo towel to wash that off I use a water based cleanser next to get rid of grime and left over makeup. This method is called ‘double cleansing’ I use GARNIER - Micellar Water Oil Infused Facial Cleanser it does say no need to rinse however I rinse it off. Finally I use Fourth Ray - AM to the PM Gel Cleanser now it’s not needed the first two work perfectly but I like it. Now serums. Tip apply one serum at a time do not mix them together. The serums are created to go on individually and when mixed there may be some chemical compounds that don’t mesh well and can cause stinging or burning on the skin. Apply a serum and wait a minute or two before applying the next one. I start by applying Truskin hydraulic acid with vitamin C and E a little goes a long way usually the size of a nickel. Truskin has no fragrance, no added colour which is optimal. You really should keep away from putting fragrance on your face. It can cause contact dermatitis, or even headaches or redness. I then use my Truskin retinol 2.5% being that I’m in my 30’s it’s imperative I add a retinol to my skincare routine as my cell turnover rate is not the same as it use to be. I wouldn’t really suggest using it in your 20’s. My final Truskin product is a Vitamin C with E and hydraulic acid. Now my first product had these in it as well I don’t really need to use this one but it doesn’t hurt to double up. Next is Fourth Ray - Remedy 10% Niacinamide Serum this is for skin clarity, it gives my skin a glowing boost and just looks so soft and minimizes my pores. It supports my skin barrier and helps oil production! Must have for those with oily skin! Fourth Ray - After Hours Detox Face Oil I added this because I have hypothyroidism and my skin gets so dry. I find this helps put some hydration in my skin. It’s also to help as a barrier against pollutants. Last but not always used is the Fourth Ray - Later Hater Spot Treatment for those pesky pimples I get under my jaw and chin due to my hypothyroidism- hormones?! Am I right.. Moving on to the moisturizer Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Nourishing Night Cream is designed for night time and sensitive skin. No fragrance! Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original I slug! It locks everything in, all these products can evaporate, a little goes a long way if you don’t you should - tip use a silk pillowcase it won’t absorb the product like a cotton one will. And that is my night routine 😴😴

Some old, some new favorites 🌈
New: I’ve been trying out the Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum and I LOVE it! My skin is soooo soft and smooth afterwards. The Milk MAKEUP - Glow Oil Lip + Cheek delivers a subtle, glowy color to your cheeks and lips and blends pretty well. The only thing is that it stains my sponges so that’s a bummer. Recently picked up the FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherrybut I haven’t tried it yet, trying to get through my other eye cream before I open this baby. Old faves: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer my go to moisturizer for oily, acne prone skin. I’ve bought soooo many over the years! PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer is my favorite bronzer, I think ever? It’s just so blendable, buildable and the perfect bronze for my skin tone.

Let’s talk moisturizers + creams!
I’m very picky when it comes to my moisturizer, I love a moisturizer that is dewy but not greasy and leaves me hydrated for hours. I have combo skin but more on the drier side so finding a good moisturizer can be difficult for me. Below are some of my favorites and ones that I’ve recently tried! 💧 Fourth Ray - Good Mood Gel Moisturizer A recent purchased that i’m satisfied with. A little goes a long way, if you use too much it’ll look greasy instead of dewy and it will be harder to blend in. Otherwise, it leaves the face nice and hydrated. belif - The True Cream-Moisturizing Bomb My HOLY GRAIL moisturizer. I received a mini and fell in love instantly, I’ve been repurchasing ever since. It feels so luxurious without being too expensive. It gives me the perfect amount of dew without leaving my t-zone oily, it is lightweight but it keeps my skin hydrated all day. e.l.f. - Happy Hydration Cream Very affordable compared to these other moisturizers. It’s a cream that doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and you don’t need too much. It doesn’t leave my skin looking as pretty as my other favorites, but it gets the job done. Therefore i’ll be using it as a night cream. Simple - Water Boost Skin Quench Sleep Cream Although it is a night cream, it serves as a beautiful lightweight moisturizer for the day time. If you’ve tried the version that is meant to be used as a daily moisturizer let me know if they’re alike! e.l.f. - Daily Hydration Moisturizer I loooove this moisturizer. It’s lightweight and looks pretty on the skin , while keeping my skin hydrated. It also has one of my favorite ingredients: jojoba oil! The downside is that it’s a tube with a pump. very annoying. Co THE BODY SHOP - Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 This used to be my holy grail, I used it for two years straight. It’s extremely glowy, but it makes my t-zone oily, which was the reason why I made the switch to belif because that one is simply better. Also i got tired of the citrus smell. BUT! this one has spf 30 which was a big win for me when I did use it and for those who don’t want to layer a moisturizer on top of an spf. TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream I received a mini of this and I want to repurchase the full size so badly!! It’s expensive but I think it’s worth it. When I had the mini I would use it as my ‘fancy’ moisturizer for when I wanted to go out and look extra cute. It’s hydrating and looks extremely beautiful on the skin. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration If you have really dry or ace prone skin, this will be your bff. I used this when my skin would experience my issues and it would help! Although hydrating, it leaves an almost ‘matte’ finish. So I would use it at night instead because I like a glowy-daytime look.

Brightening serum + oil in one
The Fourth Ray - Raydiate Vitamin C Elixir is such a cool idea to me: as you can see, there are two layers to the product, and you gently shake the bottle to combine the serum and the oil together. This claims to enhance skin radiance, and while I’ve only used it a few times, I really love the mositurizing texture from the oil—I think this might also soothe potential mild irritation from the vitamin C. While there are many differences between the two products, the Biossance squalane + vitamin c oil has a similar idea (a moisturizing oil with the brightening properties of vitamin c), so if you’re turned off by the price point of the Biossance one, I suggest trying this one! It also has turmeric in it, which is a great anti-inflammatory, and hyaluronic acid, which is great for adding and retaining moisture.

MYTH BUSTED! MIX THESE INGREDIENTS OR NOT?
You know what zodiac sign you’re compatible with, but do you know what skincare ingredients in your routine are compatible? Vitamin c + Niacinamide To mix or to not? Hmm YES! Layer these bad boys up in your routine. (Obviously don’t go overboard, but yes apply these both) The beloved and most sought out for serums have an iffy relationship. You can mix these ingredients together, but there is some things out there that state you shouldn’t or that you should do so in caution. Here’s why! Let’s break it down and get to the point. * Vitamin C protects the skin from free radicals and works towards brightening dark spots, scars, and the overall skin tone. This is best used in the morning to protect from free radicals as we go through our day. ALWAYS wear SPF with Vitamin C! Vitamin C will increase sun sensitivity, so please further your protection with SPF. * Niacinamide is an anti-inflammatory that brightens and promotes a more even skin tone, improves skin elasticity and texture! It’s a Holly Grail tbh. On top of all of that it’s also great to fight free radicals damage and pollution. Using Vitamin C + Niacinamide together? Niacinamide is “said” to cancel out all of the good properties of Vitamin C! BUT there are plenty of studies that show there is NO HARM in using these together. These two serums together can be a powerhouse combo We love these ingredients and need to use them in our skin care! You still can! How to use vitamin c and Niacinamide in your routine: use one ingredient in the AM and one in the PM. Try applying Vitamin C in the am (with spf!) and Niacinamide at night. This way you’ll still get both ingredient’s FULL benefits, but without irritation for reactive or sensitive skin. space them out. You need to let each serum absorb into your skin and allow some time in between applying them and they should not be layered right on top of each other. * this is only if you really feel the need to apply both of them* The results: using these can help uneven skin tone, skin elasticity, texture, and dullness of the skin. So if you plan on using these ingredients together, check out my two favorite below and featured in my photo. Fourth Ray - Raydiate Vitamin C Elixir This version of vitamin c is a mix of a serum and a face oil, so you’ll have to shake it up to mix the two together. + this is light in consistency and absorbs nicely into the skin. + not tacky or sticky. + smells great + ACTUALLY WORKS. My favorite one yet! + lasts longer than most vitamin C serums (shelf life) + $16 GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum This GM serum is among the best and very affordable. + light weight and absorbs well into the skin + has a sticky texture, but is gone after it absorbs into the skin. + smooths our texture and brightens skin. + 10% Niacinamide + layers well with other serums and skincare. + $6

Hidden gems: Fourth ray beauty’s Reveal AHA
Fourth Ray beauty is one such brand that mostly stands out for their cute, aesthetic packaging and their range of face milks! And ofcourse for they being cousin brand of infamous Colourpop cosemtics. I got these products to test whether they really do something for skin or not. I found these to be decently working except the mellow milk mist. I like this brand because of their ingredients focused products, such as their fruit/food based milks and serums. Some fruits like Pineapple and Papaya can be really great for skin. They have multiple Anti-oxidantd as well as Vitamins that help to target specific skin concerns. The only factor to look at is they need that particular extraction and formulation for those ingredients to work out of these fruits, most DIY recipes and extracts used directly on face will not give those benefits if not do any harm. I think Fourth ray beauty products are affordable and some of them might actually work great for your skin. I see people reaching for them mostly because they look cute and cohesive in their cabinet, but I think not all products or their face milks are necessary in your collection. The formula and the whole function if them is quite similar. 🍓I like the Strawberry milkFourth Ray - Strawberry Face Milk as it is quite moisturizing on face, I found it to be a little more on greasy side when it settles on skin. I like this milk when I need that extra amount of moisture. Apart from moisturizing, and slightly Hydrating I didn't see it doing anything. Which is quite expected as it doesn't have any Actives in it. Most of the Fourth ray beauty products are on soothing and calming side as they contain such calming ingredients. ✨This milk has : Strawberry Seed Oil, Marshmallow, and Lotus Flower this formula conditions skin for a softer, healthier-looking complexion. ✨All three main ingredients are for moisturizing and hydrating effects as well as they can be calming on skin ✨This smells exactly like strawberry smoothie so for someone who loves fruity smell in skincare, this is really good. I didn't find any harshly irritating ingredients apart from the added fragrance in this milk. This has tiny amount of alcohol (mostly for penetration purpose) but nothing that will dry skin out. Overall I think it is a good lightweight moisturizer for Oily/combination skin types, especially in Winter. 🍋Other tried and loved product is their Reveal 10% aha serumFourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum . I loved this serum as it works amazing on my acne prone, Sensitive skin. This has : Lactic acid , Glycolic acid and Strawberry extract. Lactic acid is second and Glycolic acid is fourth on their ingredients list which is really impressive. This serum is watery and doesn't irritate skin if used moderately. I truly enjoyed this serum. It definitely Exfoliates skin well, resurfaces the textural irregularities and lightens dark spots. If you want to try a different AHA serum on the market that won't break your bank, this serum is for 16$ for 30ml. I think you should definitely give this one a try! It's actually a hidden gem in AHA picks. 🍏Last one is their Mellow milk mistFourth Ray - Mellow Milk Face Mist which has some soothing ingredients but I found it to be a little greasy on me so I didn't grab it as much. Also it didn't really seem to be working anything apart from soothing and calming irritation. ✨This has : WhiteTea, Chamomlie, and Marshmallow Root for a soft and comforted complexion. Definitely soothing anf calming ingredients. This has milky texture which leaves a slight oily finish on skin.

2020 repurchase
2020 repurchase
Will definitely be a repurchase in 2020! This fourth ray vitamin c serum is such a unique texture. It’s an oil suspension which makes it hydrating instead of tacky on application. Fourth ray has great formulations for one of the most reasonable price points I’ve found at 15. I would compare them to the ordinary in this regard. This and their remedy niacinimde serum are my two favorites! This should be good for any skin type and doesn’t irritate my skin at all the way some vitamin c serums can. Face oil for acne!
Face oil for acne!
The product✨ The Fourth Ray Beauty after hours detox oil. This oil has a combination of bamboo charcoal, salicylic acid, tea tree, and watermelon seed to treat your skin as you sleep by absorbing impurities, and help nourish the skin, and support skin clarity. You warm a few drops in your palms and pat into the skin. This is a pretty lightweight-thin oil that absorbs quickly into the skin. ••• My thoughts✨ I’ve had this oil for a few months now, and I don’t hate it. Because I have oily skin I was quite apprehensive about adding an oil to my routine (even though I’ve heard countless people talk about how great they can be for oily skin), with that said the acne fighting ingredients included in this oil intrigued me. Despite the oil being black it leaves absolutely no residue. I do find I have to shake it up because what I assume is charcoal residue sinks to the bottom, so I shake it well before using. This oil comes in a half ounce bottle for $10 which I think I very reasonable especially because it’s lasts so long! Now I’m really not sure this product has done much for my skin, I like using because I do think it adds a little boost of hydration, but I don’t see any kind of improvement in my skin when I use this vs when I don’t use it, and I’ve tried using it as a spot treatment, but it didn’t do much to reduce any blemishes (maybe percentage of salicylic acid and tea tree aren’t high enough??)...overall I think It’s an okay product and I’ll continue using it until it’s gone but I probably won’t repurchase. I also don’t like the bottle, I prefer products with droppers but this one is kind of hard to get product out of, you have to kinda shake it and then sometimes too much will come out, and it’s annoying. ••• Fourth Ray - After Hours Detox Face Oil

It didn’t come out exactly as
It didn’t come out exactly as I hoped but I gave it my best shot. 😅 Finally got my hands on some Fourth Ray and it’s worth the hype. This BFD Cleansing Oil is giving my other oil cleansers a run for their money. 👍🏾 It’s light, emulsifies well, and gets my face really clean as the 1st step in my double cleanse. My face doesn’t feel tight or dry after use which is a big deal for me. 🙌🏾 I also LOVE that this is so affordable! Skincare can really break the bank sometimes so I love when I can get quality products at a decent price. 👏🏾 I’m hoping to try other Fourth Ray products in a little while after I do some saving. I’m basically on a no-buy right now but it’s hard. Lol. 🤑 Hope everyone’s week is going well! 😊

I did some experimenting with
I did some experimenting with all these our thray beauty products, it was pretty fun. I mixed a 1-2 drops from a few different bottles to create a customized lotion, which I used as a serum step, then followed up with my moisturizer. These products are meant to be used as moisturizers, and their definitely moisturizing, but the texture was so light that even using them underneath a moisturizer didnt feel tacky or sticky or too heavy at all. The texture absorbed really well for lotion, and felt really refreshing! In the future I’d probably use them as the moisturizing step in my routine and use actual serums underneath because since they’re moisturizers, they probably wont travel as deep down the epidermis to give the same hydration a serum does, but I think I will always mix the different milks together depending on what I want that day 🧖🏼‍♀️ Matcha 💚- energizing and moisturizing, best to use in the morning Turmeric🧡- brightening and illuminating, could use day or night Papaya❤️- revitalizing moisturizer, night time for resurfacing Watermelon 💕- hydrating moisturizer, day or night Acai 💜- moisturizing antioxidant, beat for day time I really enjoyed the textures of these 🙋‍♀️

I was a little bit late to the party when it comes to facial rollers. After reading about the benefits, I jumped on the bandwagon and now have a little collection. I’ve been rotating between a few different tools over the past six months, but the Rose Gold Face Massager from fourthraybeauty is definitely one of my favorites and is a staple in my nightly routine. I keep this beauty in my nightstand and give myself a relaxing facial massage every, single night before I go to sleep. This roller is lightweight and perfectly shaped to fit the contours of the face. One of the things I love about this particular roller is that is has a pulsing feature that can be switched on or off. It’s wonderful either way, but I like to turn it on when I’m doing a sheet mask or when I feel like my skincare needs a boost. On top of the notable benefits (lymphatic drainage, promotes product absorption, stimulates blood circulation) it also seems to relieve tension in my jaw, specifically during times when I’m stressed.

Brightening serum + oil in one
