🌜simple night time routine 🌛
My nighttime skincare routine is one of my favorite parts of the day. It’s the time when I begin to relax and take off everything the day has thrown at me. With that being said the nighttime skincare routine should be geared toward healing, treating, and repairing. It’s so important to have a well balanced nighttime routine. 🌜🌜🌜🌜 My first step is always using BIODERMA - Sébium H2O it’s the best micellar water I have ever tried and it’s super gentle. Oily/combo skin folks will LOVE this because it really does do a great job breaking down oil and removing dirt/makeup. (not pictured) Step two is always COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser Although it says morning I always use it at night because it’s pH balanced and very gentle. It won’t strip your skin which is so important especially if you plan to go in with active ingredients after. Step 3 on DAMP skin I apply The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 it helps my skin retain moisture and prepares it for the next steps in my routine (not pictured for a detailed review see my previous post) Step 4 I pat in ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner which is my absolute HOLY GRAIL toners, it not only keeps skin hydrated, but it’s also pH balanced and helps protect the skin barrier. This is probably my 20th bottle of this stuff. It’s incredible. Step 5 Is ETHEIR DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel or The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I would never use these in the same routine. Instead I alternate and use each one every other day. Differin is a great product , it helped clear my skin up so fast. (I do plan on doing a more detailed review soon so stay tuned) The niacinamide has also worked amazing in balancing my sebum production and lightening my hyperpigmentation. Both of these products are amazing if you suffer from acne. Step 6 I use my MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream which I’ve talked about before. It’s really moisturizing and if you have very allergy prone eyes like me this is an absolute MUST. The price is also really affordable! Step 7 ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream My last and favorite step is of course this moisturizer by Etude House, I use it day and night and I can’t sing it’s praises enough. It’s just the perfect fit for all skin types and does an amazing job at protecting the skin barrier. 🌛🌛🌛🌛 Do you use any of these products or would you like a more detailed reviews on a specific part of my routine? Let me know! Sweet Dreams!

Current Night Skincare Routine 🌛
I have recently changed my skincare routine because I started using Curology. I switched to this from my DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel because I wanted to try out tretinoin. They mention that it’s best to keep your routine simple, so that’s what i am doing! Cleanser: I do the two step cleansing method, which is where you first go in with an oil to break down makeup, sunscreen, and oils - then you go in with a water based cleanser to finish the job. The oil cleanser I have been using is DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil - I love this oil cleanser. It is so lightweight and simple. Plus once you add water it emulsifies beautifully without leaving any residue. The water based cleanser I have been using is the new CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser this is a game changer!! It’s like the combined the hydrating formula with the foaming formula! Doesn’t strip the skin at all but foams a lot! Toner: Necessary? No, but I do like a good hydrating toner to just prep my skin for the next step and restore some of the moisture from cleansing, even tho that cerave doesn’t strip my skin. I have been loving this ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner - I have only been using this for about 4 days so I can’t recommend it yet but I do really like it so far. Treat: Here comes the Curology - Curology formula - I have a post talking about my formula and stuff so check that out if interested but so far I’m enjoying it. Moisturizer: This stuff is my new HOLY GRAIL! LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 for Dry Skin Irritations is so good for dry irritated skin. It’s called a baume but it sinks into the skin amazingly, without being greasy and sticky. I haven’t experienced any dryness from tretinoin because of this product. So that’s it! That’s my whole skincare routine. I’ve really been enjoying a more simple routine and I think my skin is too. :)

These products improved my acne in 3 weeks
Since March 2020 I started breaking out really bad. It got even worse in September and I think it was due to over exfoliation and irritated skin. I started using these products below 3 weeks ago and as you can see from the pictures my acne has noticeably improved. Most of the acne has subsided. The acne on my temples are almost non existent and just some redness remains. Also the redness on my cheeks are fading and are smaller in size. Current routine: Toner: ETUDE HOUSE - Etude House SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner Serums: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Treatment: AZCLEAR - Medicated Lotion Creams: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Duo (+) and ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream Retinol: DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream Really happy with these products right now! I will continue using these products and might add Vitamin C as well. I will post another update in another 3 weeks, stay tuned 🙈

I Like To Keep It On A High Note
First of, the title is by Kendrick Lamar. I post mostly makeup looks but I thought I would post my daily skincare. I don’t buy fragranced products and I do my best to buy vegan products. I have struggled to find a water-based cleanser but I finally found one! About my skin: My skin is normal-dry and has seen at least thirty 4th of Julys. It is incredibly reactive. Enough talk. Onto the products. CAUDALIE - Make-Up Removing Cleansing Oil A Holy Grail product. It has a faint scent that it took me a little while to get used to but I love this product. Balms always seemed so messy to me and I hated using them but this is relaxing. It is like getting a mini-face message if mini face messages also removed three coats of Pat McGrath Dark Star mascara. If you are looking to start double cleansing? Start here. I will just take a 15% commission. PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser I only started using this last week but it is the perfect double cleanse companion: not too strong and not too moisturizing and goopy. It has a faint stone fruit smell that actually smells like stone fruit and not some chemical additive. There is not aloe vera, no HA, and the price is really great and it’s vegan! acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing TonerI just ordered this toner on the advice of sokoglam. I tried klairs toner and my skin started itching so badly. I got my money back and I am hoping this is a better experience. If not, off to Ulta I shall go! KINSHIP - Pimple Potion Retinal + Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment I took a picture of my chin and the kind people of Cherie did not make fun of me. They told me I had milia. There aren’t a lot of vegan salicylic acid treatments but kinship is one. It has gotten most of the smaller milia out (although now I have these weird large chin pores. Like seriously huge OMG). I am being patient while it works on the slightly bigger ones. Thank you, Cherie! Krave - Barrier Relief My skin was a hot mess and this product saved me. I think this is my last bottle but if your skin barrier has established barricades and is throwing bricks? This is a great product! Plus it’s vegan! ETUDE HOUSE - Soonjung Hydro Barrier Cream My AM moisturizer. Slow to absorb but when the weather is cold it will be so moisturizing! Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer PM moisturizer! Slightly tingly but really moisturizing. Do I need to say it is vegan? dear, klairs - Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter My eternal love. Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen Terrible company; only sunscreen that doesn’t break me out. JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter Vanilla Apricot I have it in unscented. Great for hands. Sustainably harvested by women paid a living wage. Do you use any of these products?

These are some products I’ve been recently reaching for/ testing out and enjoying! 💕 Product Reviews: 💚 @etudeofficial Soonjung Hydro Barrier Cream is so nice and gentle. I love putting a thick layer of this on my skin, kind of like a sleeping mask and it is really hydrating and soothing. It has some great ingredients such as panthenol, madecassoside and green tea to help repair and soothe skin.  I definitely do however prefer the Etude House SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream over this one as I found that to be more gentle and repairing. I think that one would be better for more sensitive and dryer skin. 💙 @rovectin_global Skin Essentials Activating Treatment Lotion is very hydrating! The product is meant to repair the skins moisture barrier and hydrate with the 7 different types of hyaluronic acid as well as gently exfoliate with the papaya fruit enzyme. It has a thick, vicious texture so I really enjoyed this in the colder months! I can pretty much use this everyday, whatever my skin condition is and it doesn’t irritate. 💚 @buildskincare B-Balm (PR): I have been testing out the b-balm lately and I really love it! It has a gel texture but feels like a facial oil. I have  a dry patch on my chin and it has really help reduce the flakiness and irritation so I love using this on dry patches all over my body.  I also put this over top or mix it in with my moisturizer whenever my skin is in need of a little bit more moisture. 💙 @bentoncosmetic Snail Bee High Content Essence (PR) is so moisturizing! I’ve been reaching for this one a lot lately. The snail mucin and bee venom help to moisturize the skin and the other ingredients such as aloe and collagen help to soothe and calm skin. I have been enjoying the deep hydration it gives me without being sticky! My skin feel really smooth and soft after using this one!   💚 @apieu_cosmetics Madecassoside Ampoule is my favourite ampoule for when my skin is feeling really irritated. It adds lightweight hydration to the skin and it really repairs and heals my skin when it’s damaged. I can use this product even when my skin is feeling super irritated so I highly recommend this one!

Rosacea/enlarged pores/blemishes
Hi beautiful ladies, This is my skin. I am sorry for the partial pictures, I am too embarrassed to post my full face. I was diagnosed with rosacea (some redness but mostly red papules which never go away), have enlarged clogged pores especially on my nose and forehead, combo skin, blemishes, sun spots, uneven texture and so on... This is currently my routine that helped a lot with reducing the amount of red blemishes and made my skin smooth (like butter according to this app :) although my rosacea is mostly gone, I feel very self conscious about its appearance. I included some pictures of how my skin used to look with a rosacea flare up. Here is what I use now: 1. Cleanser with sulfur (prescribed by dermatologist) 2. ETUDE HOUSE - Etude House SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner very hydrating, smoothing the skin. 3. I just added Elizavecca - Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum feels smooth, does not irritate my skin however it is too early to say if it’s doing anything to my pores. Before this I used serum with niacinamid. 4. dear, klairs - Rich Moist Soothing Cream my skin loves this cream even though it might be a little heavy for the summer. At night I sometimes add azelaic acid (prescribed) or soolantra (prescribed) but more for a spot treatment as I have been using it for the whole year now and I think it helped a lot with smoothing the skin. Sometimes I use MIZON - All-in-One Snail Repair Cream which I like just because it does not irritate my skin and feels like it reduces shining in my t- zone area Or I use SKE DERM - Snail Jelly Mask which is amazing! I wake up after this mask with soft and plump skin. Once a week I use Cetaphil - Pro DermaControl Purifying Clay Mask but I don’t think it exfoliates my skin enough however it is gentle and my skin does feel good after this mask. However, my skin issues are still obvious and I would like to get any advices on how to deal with it. Thank you in advance!

PM Routine for Dry Sensitive Skin 🌙🌵
This is my boyfriend’s PM skincare routine (created by me! 😁). Before we met 3 years ago, he never moisturized or used sunscreen, and washed his face with body wash. 😱 As you can imagine, his skin used to be hella dry and dehydrated, and his skin barrier was damaged. He has very dry, sensitive skin, isn’t acne-prone, and likes simple and quick routines so that he doesn’t have to spend too much time getting ready. 🌙 PM Routine 1. BANILA CO - Clean It Zero 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm This is a simple and affordable cleansing balm that he uses to remove sunscreen at the end of the day. It doesn’t irritate his eyes or leave an oily film behind. 2. ETUDE HOUSE - Soon Jung, pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser He’s tried other simple cleansers such as the Cetaphil face wash and the Innisfree Blueberry Cleanser, and all of them have made his face feel tight and dry. This product does not, it is a gentle foaming cleanser that doesn’t make his skin feel stripped. 3. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum He uses this product on a damp face to hydrate his skin. My skin is sensitive to hylauronic acid, but my boyfriend doesn’t have any issues with HA serums. 4. ETUDE HOUSE - Soon Jung, 2x Barrier Intensive Cream This moisturizer has skin repairing ingredients like Madecassoside and is great for his dry skin. It’s a little too occlusive/greasy on me, but his skin absorbs it well. 5. timeless SKIN CARE - Squalane Oil 100% Pure His skin is so dry that moisturizer alone is often not occlusive enough to last throughout the night. To supplement, he pats a few drops of squalane oil into his face as the last step of his routine. He reports that when he uses squalane oil, his face doesn’t feel tight and dry when he wakes up the next morning. Hope this helps those of you with a similar skin type as his! 😊 His AM routine is also posted on my page!

Fungal acne routine & getting rid of it forever!
I’ve struggled with malassezia Folliculitis/fungal acne for 6 months. My skin’s improved but you do need patience! Now I breakout occasionally, have redness and pigmentation. Disclaimer: Everyone’s different & this is what I’ve learnt. Leave suggestions below! Treatments: I ruined my gut health and ended getting constant yeast infections which links to malassezia as both are overgrowths of fungus/yeast! I recommend an anti-candida diet. Celery juice, apple cider vinegar in water, probiotics and supplements to boost my immune system all helped. I used Folliculitis scout to search for malassezia-safe products. I’ve used other websites and tbh some of them aren’t accurate or their recommended products broke me out. Every oil (except squalane & MCT), fatty acids and lipids is used by malassezia to grow! Once you eliminate these (which is hard), you can use glycerin or amino acids in your skincare routine and makeup bc they need oil, lipids or fatty acids for malassezia to grow off them. Skin barrier health and moisture is important. Don’t use too many treatments bc your skin will just get sensitive, dry and produce more oils. Also the Nizoral shampoo will ruin your skin barrier even if it kills malassezia off. There are other ways to treat it! Skincare routine: Morning: Benton - Deep Green Tea Toner green tea extract inhibits and combats malassezia. It’s a soothing and moisturising toner/essence. It’s antibacterial properties can target other types of acne too. skinstitut - Vitamin C 100% mix w/moisturiser for pigmentation/scarring Like I'm Five - All Day Soothing Gel Lotion I LOVE THIS. It has xylitol that combats malassezia, glycerin and hyaluronic acid as humectants and panthenol for healing. It’s on iherb for 12 AUD too! A steal! The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane squalane has helped my skin go from oily to normal, hence stopping your skin from over producing sebum where malassezia grows. elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 have had a hard time finding a good sunscreen this is one of the few malassezia safe sunscreens. Helps with hyper pigmentation. Nighttime: BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Cleansing Water have tried others and always go back to this. Tried MCT oil, it’s malassezia-safe but oil cleansing is time consuming for me personally. ETUDE HOUSE - Soon Jung, pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser I’ve tried vanicream but this massively changed my skin. facetheory - PoreBright Serum N10 only use on problem areas 2x a week. Salicylic & azelaic combats malassezia. Or AZCLEAR - Medicated Lotion Benton - Deep Green Tea Toner Like I'm Five - All Day Soothing Gel Lotion The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane

Full face of Korean makeup! ✨ #CheriePartner
Well, almost. Only thing I’m missing is a brow product so I used my trusted e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel but for the rest of my face I used only k-beauty! Let me break down the look for you 💗 Let’s start with complexion products, today I used the touch in SOL - Pretty Filter Icy Sherbet Primer Touch in Sol makes one of my favorite primers, I bought their No Poreblem Primer on my first trip to Japan, the store had a small selection of K-beauty and the pretty bottle caught my eye not gonna lie! Then I learned is actually one of their best sellers! This gel primer claims to lock makeup in place, provide a cooling effect upon application and hydrate and prep skin before makeup. I have dehydrated skin and very mild rosacea, mostly on my cheeks so I’m always looking for something to combat the redness. This is such an innovative product in my opinion, the cooling sensation is incredible and really soothes my skin. An ingredient that also made it super interesting to me is the Sakura extract, I didn’t know but sakura is rich in essential fatty acids and helps protect the natural skin barrier. As my base I used the MISSHA - Glow Tension SPF50+ PA+++ cushion foundations are so cool. I love that you can use replace the foundation cushion when you’re out, but use the same compact over and over again. Cushion foundations are often lighter in coverage which is much more my style than higher coverage foundation, which I think are more common in western makeup styles. This cushion is formulated with collagen and hyaluronic acid to plump up skin and keep it looking radiant. It’s not cakey on me and lasts well throughout the day. My only gripe is the shade range, I use shade #22 Beige and it’s still a little ashy on me, also I think it’s a little too light for me, we’ll have to wait and see if it works better for winter! For blush I used the peripera - Velvet Cheek Blush these blushes are sooo cute! They look truly velvety on the skin and feel so soft on the pan, they’re super smooth. I used the shade 08 Appealing dry coral on both cheeks and lips. Next for eyes I used the ETUDE HOUSE - Etude House Eyelash Curler and ETUDE HOUSE - Dr.Mascara Fixer For Perfect Lash I tried the eyelash curler at the Etude House store in Harajuku and really liked it but when I went back to buy it they were sold out 😭 I ordered one off Yesstyle but it’s not as good as the one I tried there, it’s just ok. The star here is their Dr. Mascara Fixer tho! This is SO. GOOD. I have long but straight, stubborn lashes that don’t like to stay curled and this literally fixes them in place and my curl lasts all day. It also has fibers to lengthen and you can use it on its own or under mascara AND over mascara to make it waterproof. Also it’s like $5 💸 Lastly for shadow I used peripera - Ink Pocket Shadow Palette one of my favorite pink palettes!

Amazing Mascara Alert!! (Inexpensive)
I have short, EXTREMELY straight eyelashes. I have never been able to find a product that curls and lengthens them without falling flat in a few hours. However, that has changed! I’ve started using a combination of Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer ($6.50 on Amazon) and Heroine Make Long and Curl waterproof mascara ($9.49 on Amazon). I have spent so much money on so many mascaras, but this $16 combo is doing the trick. Simply curl lashes, apply fixer and apply mascara. Make sure to remove with a good, oil-based cleanser or waterproof mascara remover.KISSME - Kiss Me Waterproof Lengthening and Curling Mascara ETUDE HOUSE - Dr.Mascara Fixer For Perfect Lash

Soothing & Calming Skincare for Sensitive Skin💧
𝐄𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞’𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞 is formulated specifically for people with sensitive skin. The collection comprises of fifteen different products which are made with gentle ingredients like 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 to strengthen skin protein, 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 to help relieve redness, 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 to offer antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The line doesn’t contain dyes, essential oils, or fragrances making it the perfect solution to restore skin barrier to its healthy balance. I have tried five products from the collection so far. Let me share my thoughts on them:⁣ ETUDE HOUSE - Soon Jung, pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser With a pH level of 6.5, this cleanser claims to reduce friction on the skin, leaving it feeling healthy and clean.⁣ ⁣ This is a simple effective product. The foam gently cleans and soothes, without irritating or drying out sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling clean. I think it'll be a lil drying for those who have dry skin. ⁣ ⁣ ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner Formulated with medicinal scutellaria baicalensis (chinese skullcap) root extract, this toner relieves, revitalizes, and soothes the skin making it perfect for warmer weathers. ⁣ ⁣ This toner is just like water. To be honest, I did not notice any changes using this. But if you’re someone who likes doing the 7 skin method, you may want to try this. It’s VERY gentle and non-irritating - has glycerin, soothing colloidal oatmeal, and various anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory antioxidants. I think it will be nice to use on warm summer days, a good way to ensure mid-day hydration when you feel your skin needs it. ⁣ ⁣ ETUDE HOUSE - Soon Jung 10-Free Moist Emulsion This emulsion has a pH level of 6 which helps target dry or stressed skin.⁣ ⁣ I loved this emulsion. It is so lightweight and absorbs very quickly, perfect to pat on a damp face before doing the rest of your routine. This leaves skin soft but almost with no product feel. It is not very occlusive but I think this alone can be enough in the summer for oily skin. ⁣ ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream This contains dust defense which strengthens skin resistance and protects it from any harmful external particles. It is also formulated with shea butter and oil complex to deliver moisture to skin.⁣ ⁣ I expected this cream to be very thick in consistency but surprisingly, it was not. My oily skin loved it. This spreads well and absorbs in 10 minutes, does not feel heavy at all, but seals in every ingredients you put on skin nicely. Overall, a great product to add moisture without risking irritation or flaring breakouts. ⁣ ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung Cica Balm-Panthensoside 5 This gel-type balm is formulated with dust defense and panthenoside to restore and regenerate healthy skin.⁣ ⁣ This, again, is not as thick as I expected it to be. But I loved it! I enjoyed using this as an eye cream and a moisturizer around my mouth area which becomes dry sometimes. It feels very smooth, just melts on the skin and is non-greasy. This gives an immediate soothing effect. This will work great for people with dry skin or for those who don’t want a thick ointment like petrolatum to use on dry patches. ⁣ Overall, I really liked the products I’ve tried so far. I have received about 5 trial boxes, I actually haven’t finished them all, but i’m most likely gonna buy some full sizes afterward. I can highly recommend this line. Very sensitive skin-friendly and offer great value for the quality.

K-beauty skincare: my first love
Korean skincare was my gateway into the world of skincare and I couldn’t be more thankful! Today I’m featuring a tried and true product that works for my sensitive skin. The product: It’s a lightweight emulsion that is fragrance free and especially beneficial for sensitive skin types! It won’t irritate or worsen any skin conditions because of the minimal yet soothing ingredients list. The consistency is like a water cream and goes onto the skin feeling like a burst of hydration. My honest opinion: I used this product last year when my skin was super clear and decided to recently repurchase it, hoping it will be my saving grace once again! I love it but I do recognize that it might not work for drier skin types since it isn’t very occlusive. On the other hand, I think it could make a great layer. I’d highly recommend it to oily + sensitive/acne-prone skin types. I think it’s worth the price since it’s about $16 and lasted me for at least 3 months. #Etude House - Soonjung 10-Free Moist Emulsion[products]#[FiveStars] #Etude House - Soonjung 10-Free Moist Emulsion[products]#[FiveStars]

Kbeauty vs jbeauty spf
ETUDE HOUSE - Sunprise Mild Watery Light SPF 50+ light gel-cream texture spf Applies evenly Alcohol high on ingredients list Uses various chemical filters to protect the skin (but doesn’t use avobenzone which my skin hates) Works well under makeup and dries down semi-dewy. No pilling. Contains fragrance which may be irritating to some people. Overall this spf was good. It worked for my skin type with no issues and wasn’t too thick or heavy. Biggest complaint was the fact that alcohol was high on the ingredients list. CANMAKE - Mermaid Skin Gel UV Feels like a watery cream rather than a gel cream. Applies evenly and spreads well. The texture is very light so it dries quickly Uses various chemical filters to protect the skin as well as physical filters as well. Gives an extremely dewy/radiant finish. Works amazing under makeup (honestly doubles as a primer) Has no scent to it which is great for sensitive skin This worked so well for my skin type. I had no breakouts using this and felt like my skin looked so good when I used it. So who wins? I think the Canmake SPF wins for me. It works well and feels amazing on my skin. The Etude House is an amazing option but it was just a tad short of compared to the Canmake spf

my 3 current sunscreens ✨ Etude house Sunprise Mild Watery Light SPF 50+ ✨ I bought this one because of many great opinions and I wanted to try myself. What I think about it? Well, certainly it is a good sunscreen, doesn't leave white cast and it is not too greasy. However I feel like it would be good for the days spent on the beach or outside in the summer. I feel like it was slightly drying for my skin when I used it every day. I don't need such a high sun protection while sitting in the office all day and that's why I kind of forgot about this product recently. I really enjoyed it during my holidays but now I only use it from time to time 😊 ✨ EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 ✨ I think this is the product which I like the least from this trio. The main reason is that it doesn't work too well under make up and is too drying for my skin. It doesn't leave white cast, doesn't break me out and my skin looks pretty nice after using it. And it contains Niacinamide! For me it worked only on no-make up days because it tends to peel when I apply this under foundation 😕 ✨ Apieu Madecassoside Sun cream SPF 39 ✨ And this!! Did you guess correctly? 😄 Yes, this is my HG sunscreen. I already have second tube and I can't live without it! Even though it leaves a bit of white cast, it is still the best for me. My skin feels so comfortable when I'm wearing this sunscreen, it's moistruized, calmed and smooth. Additionally, it works very good under make up. It also contains 40% of centella leaf water and some madecassoside as well. I love this so much that I don't even want to try anything else at this moment 😆😆

SoonJung 2x Barrier intensive cream review
SoonJung 2x Barrier intensive cream review
ETUDE HOUSE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream I got this because I really enjoyed the Soonjung emulsion. Unfortunately, this isn’t what I had hope for. The cream is on the thinner side. I don’t really feel like my skin is improving in any way. This works more as a “barely getting by” lotion rather than a “cream”. The cap is also strange as well. You twist and squeeze but it becomes kinda messy. I feel like it was really unnecessary. For someone with drier skin, I don’t recommend. There has to be better creams out there.

First lash serum I’ve tried!
First lash serum I’ve tried!
This is the “my lash serum” from Etude House, and I think it’s such a good product. I haven’t tried much k-beauty yet, but this was a great introduction. I use this lash serum on my eyebrows and eyelashes most nights (on the nights that I don’t forget to, lol), and I really do think my eyelashes look thicker and longer! They also haven’t been falling out as much as normal, and I think it really is working. I’ve had it for about a month now. I haven’t seen any significant changes on my eyebrow hairs, but they’re also really sparse and I feel like it’ll take a long time to see any changes, but I’m down to keep using this serum until that happens!

Etude House SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser
Etude House SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser
Ever since I started using Korean skincare products, I’ve know that when it comes to my face routine I’m not going back. The Etude House SoonJung Whip Clean is one of my favorite facial cleansers I use on a daily basis. It’s supposed to gentle clean the skin while keeping it moisturized with a 6.5 pH and 98.9% naturally derived ingredients. It’s a foam texture and feels great on the skin. I’ve used this cleanser for 4 months and here’s what I think: My Experience I decided to try this cleanser because I was looking for a new one after using CosRX’s face wash for so long. The idea of foam seemed really nice and was one of the reasons I bought it. I like this face wash because it cleans very well and my skin feels great after. It’s gentle so it’s great for my sensitive skin and the pH of it doesn’t leave my skin stripped at all. It’s great. Overall Thoughts I would recommend this cleanser for all skin types because it’s the best. If you’re looking for a Korean face wash or one with a Low pH, this is the one for you. It’s price is at $13 on the Etude House website and I think that’s a great price for such quality ingredients. I definitely think it’s worth it. #Etude House - SoonJung pH6.5 Whip Cleanser[products]#[FiveStars]

These silky smooth blushes are to die for!
These silky smooth blushes are to die for!
I’m a sucker for a good blush, and when I came across these ETUDE HOUSE - Lovely Cookie Blusher I became hooked instantly! Firstly let’s talk about its claims: - smooth & silky - glides on with ease - long-lasting - natural-looking glow - serum control, minimises shine - fluffy applicator for perfect amount of powder My thoughts: - they really do apply smoothly onto the cheeks - buildable pigments - they are definitely long-lasting - not the biggest fan of the fluffy applicator - prefer to use a normal blush brush My only concerns for this product is that I feel that it will only work for light-medium skin tones as many of the shades that they offer are quite light and wouldn’t work for darker skin tones. Overall I really do enjoy these blushes and if you can find a shade that could work for you, then I highly recommend you try them out too🥰

I tried the EtudeHouse ceramid
I tried the EtudeHouse ceramide mask last night. Scent: very light fragrance, almost imperceptible Mask material: like all the 0.2mm masks, thin cotton material that clings very well to the face and is very comfortable Essence: Milky light essence that absorbs very well and feels non-sticky. Results: face felt moisturized but not as deeply hydrated as when I've used other masks in this line. Would probably benefit from putting on hydrating essences and serums underneath and using mask as a semi-occlusive layer.

These are the products I use almost every night for my combination oily skin. - Dr Dennis Gross Stress Rescue Super Serum: A niacinimide based serum. This also contains adaptogens such as ashwagandha. This serum is so nourishing and soothing, it helps calm down my skin especially after using chemical exfoliants. - Krave Great Barrier Relief: One of my all time favorites, this ultra nourishing serum contains ceramides, tamanu oil, cholesterol, niacinimide, and rosehip oil. This repairs damaged skin from harsh ingredients or treatments.
