Blueberry Bliss Leave In by Curls
I wasn’t able to upload my video due to length so here is a small write up. I have been using the Curls - Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave In Conditioner on and off since 2016/2017. It typically retails for $12 for an 8oz container. This line is pretty accessible but you can be sure to locate it at Target, Walgreens, and CVS. They do have their own main website if you would like to purchase from them directly. This product is marketed for all texture types although if you have fine hair that is often weighed down by product you may want to steer clear. I have more of a medium coarseness and even I have to be mindful of product usage since I have a tendency to develop product build up. Exfoliating/clarifying shampoo would come in handy for this. For highlighted ingredients they mention: blueberry extract coconut oil grape-seed oil mango butter Overall it has pretty simple formulation. It also smells delightful. Curls claims to repair damaged hair, encourage hair growth, and prevent breakage. I do feel like my hair has benefited from this product. I did my big chop back in 2016 and this was the first leave product I used to support my hair needs. It was in my number one slot but I decided that I like the leave in by Pattern more. This is a good backup/number two product for me though! I do think if you hair is more coarse that this would be a good option.

Achieve Overnight Waves
As someone who naturally has wavy/curly hair, my hair has a mind of it’s own most of the time. Giving my hair directions on how to dry is almost futile. That is why I like to style it over night to have a more uniform wave pattern that is not only cute but also more manageable. It also helps me tame my frizz and keeps the heat damage to a minimum. I like using a mixture of curl cream and mousse. The curl cream is more so to keep my hair feeling moisturized and protected. The mousse is to help keep the style to last longer and give it holding power. My hair is normally already detangled from my shower, so the first thing I do is squeeze out any excess water with a t-shirt and apply my curl cream. I love using the Curls Creme Brule Whipped Curl Cream for this step because it has so many amazing ingredients that help nourish my hair. I let my hair air dry for a while before attempting the next step. This is because if I go in to style while it is very wet, I will wake up to hair that is still damp. I then go in with my favorite Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl-Boosting Mousse. It has great hold without the lasting crunchy feeling other mousses have. After all of my products have been evenly distributed, I like doing two French braids, one on each side of my head. Sometimes if I want extra dimension I will do three braids, one in the center and two on the sides. After the braids are done, I like doing an extra squeeze out of the product and water with my t-shirt and its ready to go! I like going to sleep with my braids in. When I wake up, I delicately open up the braids and separate the waves. If my hair has a cast from the mousse, I like to scrunch it out so the wave can loosen and fall more naturally. Now I have ready to go hair that I don’t have to worry about! This style usually lasts me a couple of days, especially if it is re-braided over night. Happy braiding!

My curly hair products
I have naturally curly hair and it was very hard to find products that fit the needs of my hair. I found these two products. The crème brûle whipped curl cream is a product that I have never seen someone use before, but I love it. It keeps my hair from getting frizzy and gives my hair the moisture it needs. It has organic sweet almond milk shea butter and aloe leaf juice. The cantu shea butter spray is what keeps my hair smooth and holds the shape of my curls perfectly. I like to spray it into my hands, warm it up and comb it through my hair with my fingers. I then scrunch my hair with my hands. This spray contains no sulfates, no silicones, no parabens or mineral oil. If you have naturally curly hair, then theses products are a must.

Cute Bangs for a Round Face. 💇🏽‍♀️
THIS ONES FOR MY CURLY FRIENDS! 🌀 I have Thick 4B curly hair and I one through a many of cuts and styles in my 10 years of being natural but over the past year I finally found a shape that works for me and the ultimate wash and go that compliments my plush round face! I got bangs! I was so worried about having bangs but my stylist promised it was perfect. And she was spot on! Bangs help bring out my cheeks and draw attention to my eyes. Things that normally blend in are framed beautifully by my bangs. I suggest to go for it if you’ve ever considered it and have a face shape like me! For my Wash and Gos I used (in order): AS I AM - Curl Enhancing Smoothie I love this product! It smells great and gives my hair so much moisture and truly defines my curls. I use this after I have shampooed and conditioned and on soaking wet hair I rake it through Root to ends and then take my detangling brush and brush it in. (I have low porosity hair so my hair doesn’t hold water well, so it has to stay drenched during this whole process lol) Curls - Control Curl Sculpting Gel Secondly I take this gel and rake it through my hair to hold the curl. Style as desired. I use quite a bit because I have a lot of hair. The thing I like about this product is it also smells good but has hydrating Aloe leaf juice infused. Lastly Bumble and bumble. - BB. Curl Anti-Humidity Gel-Oil I use very little of this I squeeze a quarter size amount into my hand and flip my hair and gently go over my curls with it. Love this product because it helps define and adds shine and also tame frizz because of its anti humidity properties. I finish off with my oil mix to lock it in and diffuse with cold air for 15 minutes then let air dry! Oil Mix (jamaican Castor oil, Vitamin E oil, and sweet almond oil)

4C Hair Passion Fruit Curl Control Paste Review!
Waddup homies!! As always I’m trying to find the best way to define my kinky, coily, 4C hair. I had always seen this product brand but I was reluctant to try it out because of the small amount for the price, 4oz for around 13.00 dollars That’s not a lot of money but I would just rather spend that on something that I know will work. I had my doubts but I have to say I really like it. Curls - Passion Fruit Curl Control Paste smells amazing and it provided my hair with a nice amount or hold. Fa$t Facts This truly is a paste. It is kind of sticky and very thick and waxy. Because my hair is so short already it is hard to know if it is truly weighing my hair down or not. Doesn’t dry crispy! We hate a well defined curl that is super crispy. I understand from using multiple curling products that a crispy result is sometimes what happens but we didn’t have that here while still having some nice definition. Contains no sulfates, silicones, parabens, artificial oils, or fragrances. This product managed to give me nice definition while smelling amazing and not drying my hair out. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because this seems like the kind of curling product where I will need to completely wash my hair if I want to do anything else with it. Some curl definers can be “loosened” up I guess? If that makes sense? But nah, this is definitely going to be a heavy rinse light wash type of deal. I’ll probably use my SheaMoisture - Power Greens Hair Tea Rinse with Moringa & Avocado . What’s your fave curl defining product?

LOC Method - Lets replenish that moisture girl.
The LOC method is : L-Liquid or Leave in O-oil C-cream. I recommend this method when you’re hair is dry & needs a pick me up & definitely after wash day. This method allows for your hair to retain its moisture, stop breakage, & gives your curls amazing definition. -**SN: I have high porosity, 4B/4C, dyed hair** Products (L👉🏽R Liquid/Leavin in: 👩🏽‍🦱Just plain water in a spray bottle. Your hair should be wet when applying these products for maximum absorption. I got this spray bottle for $2 at my local beauty supply store. 👩🏾‍🦱made beautiful - Nourishing Leave In Conditioner I absolutely love this leave in. It’s has shea butter, coconut, mango & honey. It’s also sulfate & paraben free! It’s not heavy as other leave-ins which I highly appreciate and it’s smells wonderful. I got this on sale at Sally’s Beauty ($1.50) but you can also find at Target ($9.99) Oil: 👩🏿‍🦱Olive oil. This was just from the grocery store. I buy this and it last me about 2-3 months. I apply this to my hair shaft mostly for shine & moisture. It’s helps with frizz, damage, & penetrates the hair shaft. This can be used on ALL hair types. When looking for Olive Oil it’s must be extra virgin olive oil (Pompeian =favorite brand)... just look for the red stamp. Walmart ($4) 👩🏻‍🦱Coconut oil. This is a sense does the same thing that olive oil does. I Do NOT use these together. I choose between if it’s a wash day (olive oil) or if my hair is just dry (coconut oil). Walmart ($4) 👩🏽‍🦱FRO BUTTER - With Emu Oil - Hair Growth Butter This is my hair crack. I apply this to my scalp. It’s smells so good & it’s lightweight (mostly like a grease). It’s has shea butter, coconut oil, & vegetable glycerin (pulls moisture from the air to hair). It also has emu oil, which is an Australian native bird. It has antimicrobial effects, and penetrates the hair follicle. I got mines from amazon ($18) but I think now the website is $20 Cream: 👩🏾‍🦱SheaMoisture - Red Palm Oil & Cocoa Butter Curl Stretch Pudding I rotate between this & SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie these products are amazing and help to seal in any product I’ve added to my hair . *Curl product Curls - So So Def Vitamin C Curl Defining Jelly this stuff smells soooo good I only use this during style day but I had to include this in this post. It literally makes my hair smell like pineapples🍍

Three Common Hair Questions Answered!
I've been getting quite a few questions all pertaining to haircare. So I thought I would take the time to dive into a few of the most common that I have been hearing from you guys. Q: How do I enhance my curls and avoid frizz? A: Curly hair is naturally dry, so moisture is the key to making your curls happy. There are a few things you can do to promote healthier and hydrated curls. Use a sulfate-free shampoo or Co-wash like AS I AM - Coconut Cleansing Conditioner to prevent it from stripping natural oils from the hair. Conditioner like SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner specially formulated for curly hair will have extra moisturizing properties. Curls - Blueberry CURL Control Paste Styling gel is excellent for controlling frizz and flyaways. Q: Is there any way I can make my hair grow faster? A: Sadly, no, but not all hope is lost. You may not be able to grow your hair faster, but you can make sure that the hair you have makes it to a longer length. A diet that is rich in Zinc and Biotin keeps the hair healthy enough to meet its full potential. Q: I want to grow my hair longer but my ends get really damaged and eventually split. Do I have to get it cut? A: unfortunately, you have to cut it to grow it. After five weeks of growth with no trim, you will get bigger split ends, and you will have to cut more off in the long run. It may not seem like it, but you end up saving time and length by trimming every 3-4 weeks.

Tried and True Curly Wash n Go Routine
I have been a natural for 10 years now and I think I can officially say I’ve tried it all. I have low porosity, fine strands and thick density of 4B/C hair. (Yes, she’s a mess sis) It simultaneously is dry and let’s product sit on top. So here’s how I take care of her. 1. Curls - Blueberry Bliss Reparative Hair Wash This wash is so yummy smelling but also gets ALL the product off of your hair. I find it’s best used after a protective style when you have to CLEAN her 🧼 2. I don’t use in shower conditioner. It doesn’t help me. I either deep condition before or just use this leave in. Curls - So So Smooth Vitamin C Leave In Conditioner I wish it penetrates a little more but again it smells fantastic and it does the job. 3. I seal in my moisture with castor oil while my hair is still pretty wet. Sunny Isle - The Original Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil I love this one. No real reason 😆 4. This is a large part of the reason I can get away with no conditioner. CREME OF NATURE - Pure Honey Curl Activator It’s so hydrating sometimes I use it as a leave in when I have braids because it makes your hair smooth out soooo nicely. 5. Lastly, I use Curls - Goddess Curls Botanical Gelle to set the curls. If I don’t use a gel my hair reverts into steel wool once it’s dry. I finger coil my hair (mostly just the front bc I’m lazy) and voila! ✨ I recommend trying these, some may need a conditioner in there but to each his own. I hope it helps. 😊 Being natural can be hard but don’t give up.

Blueberry Jelly for Space Buns 👽💙
Blueberry Jelly for Space Buns 👽💙
I used this Blueberry curl control jelly by Curls to achieve this look. I like how it is thick and has good hold without becoming hard once dry. I used it to wrangle my hair into two ponytails and wrap it into buns. I know people also use this product for curl definition or wash and go, but I like to use it for styling. I didn’t have to use a lot for it to work. This may not be strong enough for edge control or laying baby hairs. I used a separate, stronger gel for that. Curls - Blueberry Bliss Curl Control Jelly
