Go-to body products for the summer
My New Years resolution was to put on body lotion every day.
......
It didn’t happen. ITS FINE, we’re just trying our best here.
But during the summer, I really want my skin, especially my legs and my arms to be super soft, golden and moisturized. So these are the products that I’ve been using for the last month or so and have really been liking.
Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream for Normal to Dry Skin
Idk man, I keep talking about this product, but it’s affordable, quick-drying and moisturizing. Love it.
Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30
Go-to body spf this summer. It’s lightweight and blends in so easily into the skin. It’s not sticky at all. I just wish the fragrance wasn’t so strong and I wish it came in bigger container. Plus this makes your skin look dewy but not greasy.
bondi sands - Liquid Gold Self Tanning Foam
Love the look of this self tanner! One layer lasts me about 1.5 weeks and it’s such a nice dark gold colour, not orange at all. It blends so easily and isn’t streaky if you use the mitt to apply it. Plus it’s pretty affordable (around $30).
The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
If I ever get a dry spot on my skin, I dab on a bit of this for some extra moisturizing power. I also love to use this on my chest and shoulders before moisturizer during the summer to keep them extra dewy and moisturized. Anddd it’s a great price so I don’t mind using the serum on my body.
PACHA SOAP CO - Whipped Soap & Scrub Vanilla Almond
So I bought this from Whole Foods on a whim. But it’s slowly become a fave for me because it feels so nice in the shower! It’s a whipped soap so it kind of works like a cleansing balm where it starts a little more solid and as you start to add water, it starts to lather. The soap itself feels moisturizing and not stripping at all. And the exfoliation is effective but feels so gentle. Anddd it’s like $12.
And then once a week I’ll use my dry brush! That’s the thing on top of the soap lol. It’s a slightly more intense way for my to exfoliate (although I still am very gentle with it) and apparently it also helps stimulate blood flow. I’ll use it right before I go in the shower so that I can wash off all the particles that I’ve exfoliated off. I love to use this on the nights that I apply tan so that it goes on smooth.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret.... I’m a BIG self tanner fan- and the Australians know how to DELIVER.
Bondi Sands smells amazing, blends effortlessly, and is basically streak free because even beginners can use this for a flawless application (!!!)
Now easily found at your local Walgreens- you don’t even need to worry about shipping costs- because they got you!
The color is natural, fades (in my opinion) naturally and even more than Loving Tan does, and their products are SO easy to use.
Pictured here is the foam, but I also use their spray oil and WOW- so easy and convenient! Spray, wipe, and goooo.
10/10 go get yourself self tanned TODAY.

Best Self Tan for Pale Skin
bondi sands - Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk
I thought I’d start off my first review with my favorite tanning product for extremely pale skin (and I mean PALE, pale, like you can see every vein in my body, pale). I’ve found that gradual tanners suit my pale skin better because I have more control of how dark I want to get and it makes tanning nights less of a chore because it’s so easy to apply and it’s basically two products in one. This product is also great to use in conjunction with a regular self tanner to allow your tan to last longer!
Pros:
-Super moisturizing
-Doesn’t have a gross, fake tan smell once washed off (smells like cocoa butter)
-Pretty foolproof (doesn’t get streaky easily, hard to apply too much since it’s a lotion)
-Fades really naturally
-Gives a nice, initial wash of color
-Easy to maintain
Cons:
-The only thing I will say is that the “tan” smell is apparent as it’s curating on your skin, but I also think that’s a completely personal occurrence and the smell differs from person to person.
bondi sands - Luxury Self-Tanning Application Mitt
This mitt is by far the best one I’ve ever used, mostly because it doesn’t have a sharp, scratchy seam on the outside like a lot of other tanning mitts do. This one is soft and seamless all over, and the microfiber material blends in the tan super easily and beautifully. I think this is half the reason the tanning milk goes on so seamlessly.
If you’ve made it this far, I appreciate you reading :)
