Oils For Acne !?
Many may run at the idea of using an oil on acne prone skin BUT what if I told you that using oils for acne can be very helpful for your acne. Are you curious? Or are you already running for the door 😂? Let’s talk about it . . . Why Would You Use Oil On Acne 🥴 First it depends on what types of oil(s) you are using and we will get into that as we go. Many oils have great antibacterial , soothing and healing prosperities which is great for acne. These beneficial oils will help reduce breakouts and heal them leading to less scarring. So What Types Of Oils Do You Use 🤷🏼‍♀️ There are about 7 oils I know from my experience that have helped me with my acne. These oils are natural and unrefined ( including essential oils) I do suggest staying away from mineral oils and petroleum jelly. Those do nothing but sit on top of the skin, can clog pores and have no nutritional value for the skin. Using natural oils penetrate the the skin and have more beneficial properties. Here are some oils I recommend & Why they are beneficial for acne 🌺Almond Oil Helps dissolve excessive oil, Improves cell turnover, hypoallergenic 🌸Coconut Oil Antibacterial, Reduces scarring 🌹Tea Tree Oil Anti inflammatory, Antimicrobial, reduces swelling and redness 🌼Lavender Oil Antibacterial, healing, unclogs pores, anti inflammatory 🌻Vitamin E Oil ( my personal fav ! Place this on a breakout and see how fast it heals !) Anti inflammatory, antioxidant, healing 💐Jojoba Oil Healing,Antimicrobial,Anti Inflammatory 🌷Castor Oil ( another one of my faves! But it’s thick thick so don’t use too much) Antibacterial,Antimicrobial, helps with skin texture What do all of these oils have in common ? Comment below ☺️ It’s important to use antibacterial ingredients when dealing with acne to get rid of bacteria from skin which causes breakouts. Paired with that you want to also use healing ingredients to reduce scarring from breakouts. There are many oils I recommend doing your research How Do I Use Oils In My Regimen 🧏🏼‍♀️ It can be as simple or as fancy as you want, a simple method will be taking a little bit of oil onto fingers and massaging it directly into skin. The fancy way is mixing oils like a few drops of tea tree oil into some coconut oil and applying to skin. Everyones experience with using oils is different some or none may work for you. Oils should be applied at night over moisturizer and cleansed off in the morning. This will allow your skin to absorb the benefits of the oil. I do this and notice a major improvement in my breakout in the morning. I do not suggest wearing oil during the day because you are more active , and if you wear makeup this can cause you to produce more oil. And trust me oil on top of oil + More breakouts is not a look ! Depending on your skin you can use oils nightly 1 to 3 times out the week. It’s important to pay attention to how your skin is reacting. #cheriecreator Any questions ? Ask In commments ❤️

👣👣My journey of getting rid of “chicken skin aka Keratosis Pilaris”👣👣 The journey was a slow one, but worth the patience ✌🏻 ❗️Keratosis Pilaris is a common skin condition that is completely harmless but can be difficult to keep under control. Sometimes referred to as 'chicken skin', it presents itself as dry, rough patches of bumps on skin, which can appear on your upper thighs, back of your arms and even on your face. If you struggle with this chicken skin on arms, legs or your face, you're not alone. Approximately 40% of adults and 80% of adolescents have these Keratosis Pilaris bumps somewhere on their bodies❗️ ⁉️What product you need⁉️ For 🛁 baking soda Soap free body wash For moisturizer 💦 Aveeno/ Darmaveena body lotion Extra virgin coconut oil glycerin I have always had this skin issues- upper arm, back, upper thighs” since I was a kid.😔 I knew you can’t get rid of these!! And this is a stubborn one!! However, I read somewhere -sodium bio carbonate aka baking soda helps reducing keratosis pilaris. Honestly first i was like- Yaa whatever.. then I thought 💭 what’s wrong with give it a go. So i have started using baking soda in my shower with a scrubber with little amount of body wash (one soap free- I prefer shea butter or coca butter) gave a good scrub all of my body, take a warm bath afterwards. Bare in mind you won’t get foamy bath but a good scrub doesn’t need it to be foamy. Be generous when taken baking soda. For one bath I would say 3 tablespoons🥄 🧽One of best tips for getting rid of Keratosis Pilaris is to body brush/ scrub . Used daily Body Brush works as a Keratosis Pilaris treatment, helping to smooth bumps by stimulating circulation and the lymphatic system and working to brush away dead skin cells and exfoliate skin. Cut on a smooth angle, the bristles on this brush are specially designed not to scratch skin. Brush affected areas each morning before showering, moving upward towards the heart.🛀🏼 Please note, after wash you need very good moisturizer🧴 and coconut oil🥥 is MANDATORY ❗️ I mix them both in a containers with Glycerin 💧 Glycerin helps locking the moisturizer and can draw moisture from the air around us and help keep that moisture in skin.💦 Coconut oil is also a fantastic treatment for Keratosis Pilaris as it contains Lauric Acid which can help to break up Keratin, and avoid build up which can reduce the appearance of bumps on the back of the arms and body. It is also rich in both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to help reduce redness.🌟 It took me fair bit of time to see the final results💫- give or take 4-8 months and you will notice how dramatically your skin changes. Changes will start to notice in a month. The spots will disappear which is amazing 🤩 FYI- stop scratching them at the first place, that never helps I promise, contrary makes it worse!!👎 Best of luck❤️ Aveeno - Moisturizing Creamy Oil Sweet Almond NUBIAN HERITAGE - Raw Shea Butter Body Wash Age-Defying and Protecting AURA CACIA - Organic Vegetable Glycerin

Night Time Chill Solution
Night Time Chill Solution
I’m assuming it’s hormonal acne or because I was having a bad yogurt craving and was eating all that dairy but I kept getting acne on my chin and it was terrible. So I slept in the Cucumber Calm Mask overnight after washing my face with the Wash and when I woke up my acne was just about gone. I love the cucumber mask because it’s light and smells amazing. It also doesn’t feel sticky or nasty if you’re a side sleeper in like to bury your face in the pillow unknowingly. I rub this mask in until it’s completely clear (it comes out white) and sleep with it. In the morning I take a warm towel and just wipe it off and my skin is soft and Calm just like it claims.
