My top makeup tools/brushes must haves!!
To achieve a perfect base and a decent eye makeup look, these are some of my top picks. If I have to choose minimum brushes and while traveling if I just need limited makeup brushes to carry then it has to be these brushes. -Real techniques foundation brush is an oldie but Goldie. It gives such a clean look and blends foundation so well. Probably my first foundation brush but I love it so much. -It cosmetics Air brush foundation brush is my new jam. I just like to apply some foundation on my skin and just dab the product well using this brush. It gives such an air brush look and a clean base makeup. It's so easy to work with. -Bh cosmetics Tapered blending brush is a must have. For a good eye look you definitely need a good blending brush to create a crease and give a flawless look. This brush is such a good one. -Luxie beauty blending brush is another must have. You can never really have enough blending brush. It helps the product blend so well and the bristles are so smooth. Sometimes I like to use a blending brush on eyelids too to put some eyeshadow on. -Luxie beauty Tapered brush is such a good one for highlighting and for blush. I mainly like to use for highlighting purposes and it gives a clean sweep look of highlighters. Love it!!it Cosmetics - Airbrush Blurring Foundation Brush #101 REAL TECHNIQUES - Complexion Blender Brush LUXIE - 231 Small Tapered Blending Brush

Favorite eyeshadow brush!
The LUXIE - 231 Small Tapered Blending Brush is the best eyeshadow brush I own! It is a small tapered blending brush to help blend out eyeshadow. It is not too dense, and very soft to help diffuse the edges on eyeshadow looks. I got this in the June 2019 allure beauty box and it was my first ever eyeshadow brush. I like it because it is very versatile and can be used to create a variety of eye looks. I highly recommend this brush if you are just starting out with eyeshadow because it is very versatile. It is quite worth the price because it is very durable and high quality. LUXIE - 231 Small Tapered Blending Brush

THE 411 ON MAKEUP BRUSH CLEANSING #CheriePartner
When I first started wearing makeup, I rarely washed my brushes. I would claim they worked better with built up product on them, but even if they did I quickly learned that that was a terrible idea. Here are some things I have learned throughout the years of my makeup wearing. Why you need to clean your brushes? Brushes/sponges are a perfect place for bacteria to build up. This bacteria could be responsible for flare ups such as acne and rashes. Also, when makeup brushes are caked with product, they could not be performing to their full potential. How often should you be cleansing your brushes? Cleansing brushes after each use would be ideal, but it is certainly not practical. Not only would that be time consuming but the brushes will start to lose their structure and not perform the same. With that being said, washing your brushes will depend on how much you use them. If you are a frequent makeup wearer; I would aim for around every week (2 at most). If you wear makeup infrequently; 1-2 months could be sufficient. How to clean makeup brushes? I have been cleaning my makeup brushes the same for so many years and never have experienced any rashes etc. Also, I use products that are fragrance free to prevent irritation. So here’s what I do: - To remove the product buildup, I use warm water and liquid soap. I prefer Dial anti bacterial, fragrance free soap. Antibacterial soaps ensure that bacteria is being removed. I have noticed that the liquid soap works better than any other product I have tried. There are lots of products that help cleanse brushes such as a brush cleansing mat and a mini “washing machine” for your brushes. I find using my hands and a towel the best method. - Next is an optional step for restoring the soft texture of your brushes. This ensures that they remain in great condition. I apply a small amount of olive oil to the bristles. Olive oil is also know for its antibacterial properties. - Lastly, I gently dry my brushes on a towel and shape the bristles back into its original shape. I also like to lay my brushes on a flat surface making sure to switch sides halfway through the drying time. Warnings: Be careful with wooden-handled brushes. I once experienced a brush crack in half because too much water got in to the handle. I hope this post helps someone out! What’s your favorite method for cleaning brushes? P.s: (These are all Luxie brushes, which are my favorite brushes. These brushes last for so long and keep their quality after each wash. Also, they are so soft!) #CheriePartner

My Favorite Makeup Brushes & Tools
Good makeup brushes and tools are something you can never have too many of. You also don’t need to spend a lot. I got many of these brushes and tools on sale, from the drugstore or other affordable retailers, free gifts with purchase (GWP), or in subscription boxes over the course of time. Face: e.l.f. - e.l.f. Complexion Brush love this for diffusing bronzer or all over powder F·A·R·A·H brushes - Gold Face Brush Trio the F60 powder brush is great for loose or pressed powder. No issues with it. The other 2 brushes in this trio shed badly, unfortunately. Ulta blush brushes - both of these were free GWPs. Ulta often includes them so I suggest shopping on a day Ulta offers GWPs or large sets because the brushes aren’t available on their own. BOXYCHARM - FIVE BRUSH SET WITH BC LOGO POUCH The foundation brush is thick and dense, perfect for blending foundation. Some of the other brushes shed but not this one. AOA studio - The F6 & E106 Sculpting Brush Duo The F6 amazing for cream blush! Great size. The smaller brush is also good and they come as a bundle for dirt cheap on shopmissa.com LUXIE - 532 Round Top Kabuki Brush Rose Gold I use this for gently stippling cream bronzer, then buff once the product is placed where I want it. Random eyeshadow blending brush - love this for blending highlighter! Came in a sub box years ago. Random tapered highlighter brush - excellent for targeted application of highlighter. Also came in a sub box. AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender crazy cheap, super soft, blends cream/liquid foundation and cream cheek products like a dream. BEAKEY - BB5 Sponge Set available in a multipack, slightly more dense than AOA but still blend products really well. Eyes: e.l.f. - Flawless Concealer Brush a bit dense, blends concealer so well, had it for years. REAL TECHNIQUES - Your Finish/Perfected, Setting Brush I use this to set my under eye powder, staple for many years. SIGMA - E25 Blending Brush a classic blending brush beloved by many, my only Sigma brush but I’d love to try more. LUXIE - 205 Tapered Blending Brush Rose Gold I have multiples of these, super soft and not too densely packed. I also have other blending brushes from Luxie in the photos. REAL TECHNIQUES - Instapop Eye Duo excellent for packing color on hooded lids (like mine), the smaller brush is a bit too small but larger one is *chefs kiss* aLamar COSMETICS - The Ojitos Brush Trio Vol. 1 awesome quality and how cute are the lime green handles?! Tools: Tweezers #Tweezty - Mini Tweezer[products]#[FourStars] Eyebrow scissors - I trim my brow hairs every couple weeks #Airpeace - 6PCS Set[products]#[FiveStars] #CheriePartner

Luxie Flat Top Kabuki Brush
I bought this brush on a whim at Winners. Prior to using this brush I was a die hard beauty sponge for foundation application. I started to notice more and more product on the sponge vs on my face. This flat top kabuki brush is dense enough to apply foundation to your face whilst also being fluffy enough to for a lighter application! I love the thicker handle, it makes holding it easier! I have not seen any shedding when washing or using this brush! I would recommend stippling the product on at the end to create a natural finish and to avoid the streaks it could leave. If I come across this again I would purchase another as a back up! LUXIE - 530 Flat Top Kabuki Brush 💕SKINTYPE: oily, acne-prone, texture at times 💕SKINTONE: medium warm 💕HAIRTYPE: 1a, dark brown colour, oily scalp

DUPE FOR MY FAVORITE BRONZER— $49 VS $7✨
I use Marc Jacobs’ O!Mega Bronzer everyday but it does come with a $$$ price tag. If you are looking for a more affordable contour shade, here is a dupe I have found.  Products: MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect in 104 ‘tan-tastic!’ — $49   #Colourpop - Super Shock Cheek[products]#[FourStars] in ’skinny dip’ — $7  What is it? Marc Jacobs’: Bronzer— "Micro-fine, jet-milled powder" Colourpop's: Bronzer Finish? MJ+C: matte Color? MJ: neutral bronze C: light golden brown How I use? MJ+C: I use both products with Luxie’s duo fibre powder brush,LUXIE - 516 Duo Fibre Powder Brush Rose Gold . I apply the product to the temples of my forehead, contour my cheeks, and chisel my jawline.  How the product applies? MJ: This product is soft to the touch and it translates well onto the skin. It applies seamlessly with no harsh “muddiness”. It is very pigmented and keeps its cool neutral shade.  C: This product is extra creamy and soft to the touch. Because of how creamy it is, it tends to become a little muddy. This can be adjusted if you are light handed with the product, building up its coverage. The color is extremely pigmented, and tends to warm up slightly when on the skin.  Which do I prefer? I am obsessed with  MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect and can not see going without this product, However, the Colourpop product is a great, affordable dupe. I have light-medium skin with a neutral undertone and have always struggled with finding a contour shade that is not to dark or orange. I recommend these 2 products if you are having similar struggles. Whichever one you chose, your face will be sculpted to perfection. ***(The super shock cheek in 'skinny dip' is no longer available but I reached out to the company and was recommended their pressed bronzer in ‘spectacle,' COLOURPOP - Pressed Powder Bronzer, a newer version of the product) #CheriePartner

HAIR BRUSHES & THEIR BENEFITS💆🏽‍♀️✨
These are my top 5 (only 4 pictured) hair brushes that I use for styling and maintaining my hair. Each are used differently and are unique to their characteristics. Featured I have: * Wide tooth comb * Boar bristle brush * Round ceramic brush * Wet brush * Eyebrow spoolie - #Goody - Wide tooth comb[products]#[FiveStars] Wide tooth comb brushes are great for those with thick, curly and/or tangled hair. For that reason, I use this comb after each shampoo and conditioner wash in the shower. It allows for me to easily run the brush through my tangles leaving me with smooth, knot-free hair when I dry off. - #Goody - Boar bristle brush[products]#[FiveStars] Boar bristle brushes are great for all hair types/textures. When used from the scalp down, the bristles lightly massage the scalp creating blood flow that ultimately promotes the hair growth process. These brushes are especially great if you have oily/combo hair as it can easily transfer oil from the scalp down to the ends of the hair. I would recommend not to use on wet hair and use either every morning or night. - drybar - Double Pint Large Round Ceramic Brush The round ceramic bush is great for creating at-home blowouts. The ceramic heats up fast and essentially makes the hair hold its shape, like a curling iron. These brushes honestly take a lot of practice but once you figure out how to use it you will have beautiful shiny waves or curls depending on the brushes size. This large brush in particular creates more of a loose wave. - The Vintage Cosmetic Company - Detangling Brush Floral The wet brush is my favorite brush ever! It has made my hair so so manageable. Before using this brush it was so hard to run a brush through my hair but this de-tangles my hair perfectly every time. These are great for all hair types and good on dry or wet hair. If you have not used one of these brushes, I highly suggest getting one. I travel with a wet brush so throughout the day I can de-tangle my hair if needed. - LUXIE - 201 Brow and Lash Brush Rose Gold Lastly, I did not take a picture of the spoolie brush but I thought it was worth mentioning. Although this is technically an eyebrow brush, I love using the spoolie for up-dos. It allows me to brush back any flyaways without having to redo my hair. This brush is suitable for all hair types. For reference; I have long, thick, straight, combination hair. What brush can you not live without?💭

Makeup is flawless perfection with these brushes
These are some of favourite face brushes!! 😍❤️ I am a huge fan of beauty tools and no exception for makeup tools!! I have these face brushes that I absolutely love and makeup application with these is much more flawless and smooth. Good quality brushes are so important for blending seamlessly and I have learned to blend without sweating with these extremely soft bristle brushes!! I wish you could extend your hand touch these, feel how soft these bristles are! 😍 I think that is what makes them super fabulous in makeup! Every product cream or powder blends to perfection with these brushes! I don't like cakey finishes and stripey looks to makeup, and these brushes make it so easy for me! Also, all of them have very sterdy, heavy handles (heavy enough to keep the balance) to hold well and that helps in keeping the balance and pressure while applying makeup. I have many other brushes that I have used in the past and thought they're the best quality before I found these! ❤️ The brushes showed in picture are : @luxiebrushes - The best of the best!! Great small crease brush
Great small crease brush
I got this in a beauty box last year and have loved it ever since. It’s super soft and washes well every time. It’s very small for a crease brush but helps distribute and blend out product, as well as give more precise application of crease colors. LUXIE - 231 Small Tapered Blending Brush

✨November’s Boxy Charm✨ •CoverFX “Glitter Drops - Nova”: I was SO excited these came in this month’s box (& a full-sized bottle-$44)! I am obsessed w/ the custom enhancing drops by coverfx… I use them daily (mixed w/ my tinted moisturizer)- these contain a lot more glitter (vs. shimmer) & therefore are a lot bolder, but I still like them! You can mix them into your foundation (a little goes a long way!!) like I do with the custom drops or use them alone as a highlighter •Ace Beaute “Grandoise Palette”: contains 4 shimmery & 4 matte eyeshadow shades - the shimmery ones are beautiful & very pigmented but there’s only 1 shade that I would wear (Jasmine: a shimmery beige)… & I don’t ever wear matte or bright shadows so the other ones just aren’t my style (but others may love them!) •Luxie “Luminous Eye Set”: a four-piece set of synthetic mini eye brushes (round, tapered, angled & flat angled) - the bristles are super soft & I love the sparkly handles! . •Jonteblu “Glittering Star Eyeliner - Black”: I love a pop of sparkle on my eyes so I’m excited to try this sparkly eyeliner! AND, it will be perfect for upcoming holiday parties! •Bodyography “Makeup Brush Cleaner”: a cleansing spray made from natural orange peel and gentle cleansers - looking forward to trying this one! I love my Artis brush cleansing foam, but I would love to find a cheaper alternative (this one is only $12)

luxie 731 buffer brush
luxie 731 buffer brush
This is my favorite brush for applying cream products, including cream blush, concealer, bb/cc cream, etc. It buffs my makeup out easily and blends everything together for a seamless look. Luxie Beauty Brushes are vegan, cruelty free, and made with synthetic fibers!!!! I haven’t had any bristles fall out of any of my luxie brushes, and I use this one every day. And I love how flexible it is. I clean my brush with a soft gentle face cleanser that I no longer use. I only use lukewarm to cold water, as hot water loosens the glue on the insides of brushes. Also be sure to dry them angled down or hanging bristle down as to not loosen the glue. LUXIE - 731 Buffer Foundation Brush ProTools Retails for $38, I snagged it for $10 on their website (sale still going on now!)
