🌋Detoxification & Rejuvenation plans, baby!🧚🏼
🤬I was really sick for several days a couple weeks ago due to my condition. I have a neurological disease called CRPS that causes me a lot of pain at random, & sometimes flare ups can last days on end. This most recent one was so bad, where I only managed to properly wash my face once. I’m a moisture fiend, so I still slapped creams on my face when I could, & I try to put sunscreen on everyday no matter how bad I feel, yes even if I’m laying in bed all day!💻😴🕯 So, when I finally felt good enough to do some proper skincare one week ago. My skin felt pretty congested & dull, so I reached for my favorite (& super affordable) charcoal mask & some vitamin C. Here’s what I used! giovanni - D:Tox System Purifying Facial Mask $10/4 oz Non-comedogenic & pH balanced. FREE OF: dyes, parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, DEA, PEGs, lauryl/laureth sulfate, formaldehyde & propylene glycol. Natural fragrance is the last ingredient. This was a great health food store find for me. The texture is so smooth & doesn’t dry out my skin. Some great purifying ingredients here; Oat Flour, Bentonite, Kaolin clay, Volcanic Ash & Activated Carbon. It has repairing Allantoin & Vitamin E are high up on the list, as well as Aloe, Sugar Cane & Sugar Maple leaf extract🍁It’s also got a lot of antioxidants like Açaí, Goji Berry & Green Tea extracts🍵 My full review is down toward the bottom of my posts. 🍃a little THC ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Elizabeth Arden - Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum $51/30 capsules or $87/60 capsules I feel like I haven’t used these long enough to give a full review, but I’ve been loving them so far. It’s a blend of oils from Olive, Sunflower🌻 & Avocado 🥑with Vitamin C, a rich Peptide complex & Vitamin E. They are definitely pricey & may seem like garbage overkill with all the little capsules, but they’re actually biodegradable! ♻️ The opaque capsules keep each application of serum fresh, potent & effective by preventing oxidization of notoriously unstable Vitamin C. Full review coming soon! You can get them (or anything) on their for 20% off site right now! Code: FAM20 TATCHA - The Water Cream $68/1.7 oz Loved this soothing & moisturizing oil-free cream for years. Recently purchased again & I’ll be doing a review along with The Dewy Skin Cream very soon! MAY COOP - Raw Eye Contour 🍁$45-$55/.7 oz I love that Korean Maple extract is the very first ingredient! Been using this off & on for a while, a full review is due. I have a couple previous reviews of May Coop products with more information on their all star ingredients: Maple leaf extracts They’re a Korean skincare brand that builds each product off of Maple extracts because the molecular weight (size) is the same as our skin cells; allowing excellent absorption of this extracts anti-aging benefits. 🌋Let me know if you have any questions. I’m feeling much better now & my skin is refreshed!🩹☁️

$tock🆙 & 🆕 Reviews to come!
Trying to organize a little bit... My sink top is usually a bit cluttered, so let’s talk about the cabinet! Just like a cute little skincare closet🤎 I’m not usually one to stock up, but between moving to a rural area, quarantine & some gifts, it happened. I have some friends that hoard their favorites when there’s a sale or fear of apocalypse.... Apocalypse aside, I really don’t recommend “stocking up” Running out of a crucial product sucks, but overstocking can be problematic. I acquired more treatments than I know what to do with lol, & if they stay locked away I’ll never remember to try them! Another big issue is expiration dates as well as ingredients/actives that are sensitive to light, heat or humidity. Products with organic ingredients/products free of preservatives will definitely be sensitive to these elements. Some actives, like vitamin C are notoriously unstable, loosing some of their stability & potency over time. If not stored in cool, dark & dry conditions, it can speed up oxidation, causing the degradation of the molecule. This can lead to simply a waste of money or serious skin irritation! I recommend keeping any vitamin C products out of the sun, especially if they have a clear bottle. A few favorites I have back ups of: (check previous posts for full reviews) #HERBIVORE - Amethyst Exfoliating Body Scrub[products]#[FiveStars] the best jasmine scented body scrub💜 giovanni - D:Tox System Purifying Facial Mask charcoal & volcanic ash mask🌋 TONYMOLY - 62% Alcohol Aloe Hand Gel candy pear scented hand sanitizer🍐 SHANGPREE - Diamond Luminous Cream a super luxurious Niacinamide cream💎 unpa.Cosmetics - Bubi Bubi Lip Ampoule just reviewed this, my new favorite!🌹 A few things I’m really excited to try, & can’t wait to share my experience/review with you guys❤️Drop me some tips in the comments if you’ve tried any of these or have any questions about the others😊 HERBIVORE - Prism Exfoliating Glow Duo TONYMOLY - Strawberry Nose Pack ETUDE - Moistfull Collagen Eye Cream ETUDE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream Elizabeth Arden - Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum Kaja - Brow Blowout Fiber Gel Brow Definer ALGENIST - ALIVE Prebiotic Balancing Mask NEOGENLAB - Real Vita C Powder Lemon ⬆️ powder Vitamin C is more stable than liquid forms & doesn’t degrade in sunlight as easily. I look forward to writing these reviews for you! PS💌 a few others in this post... The Antioxidant Serum I’m loving!
My favorite antioxidant serum is the Vitamin C Restoring Facial Serum from Giovanni Laboratories. This product is marketed as a facial serum that energizes and revives tired skin while restoring your skin’s natural glow. It claims to help nourish and protect your skin from environmental pollutants while keeping your skin looking supple. I have been using this serum for approximately six months and have noticed fantastic results. The bottle says that you can use it both in the morning as well as at night. I have been using the serum daily for the past six months both during my morning and nightly routine. My complexion is a lot brighter and almost all of my acne scars have faded. What I love most about the serum is the smell. It smells like fresh orange juice, and the scent does not linger for too long. No matter how hot the weather is the serum is always cold when I apply it to my face. I find this very refreshing especially during the hot summer months. Another thing that I noticed about this serum is that there are times when I will put my fingers upward on my cheekbones and will see small particles of dead skin. When I looked this up I found out that this is because of the vitamin C working as an acid to help exfoliate the skin. The texture of the serum is quite liquidy and you have to quickly pat it onto your skin so that it doesn’t run down your face. You only need to apply 2 to 3 drops to cover your entire face. Even though I have been using the serum for quite a while now I’ve only used up about 1/3 of the bottle. I bought this serum for eight dollars from TJ Maxx and it can be purchased from the brand’s website for the same price. I would 100% recommend the serum to anyone looking for an antioxidant serum to add to their routine. I would rate the serum a five out of five and I am looking forward to repurchasing it once I finish this bottle.

Perfect Damp Styling Routine 💁🏻‍♀️
Damp styling is when you take moisture out of your hair before you add styling products to allow your hair to dry in almost half the time. This method might cause you to lose definition (only if you do it the wrong way) but will amp up your volume to the max. All of the products below can be interchanged for different ones but it’s important to use the same kind of product (foam, gel, mousse, etc).  This routine will help create volume without sacrificing definition. 1. dippity do - Girls with Curls Curl Boosting Mousse The first step before applying this product is add my leave in conditioner (or skip this step if my hair is feeling good) in the shower and squish to condish. This means to really mix the conditioner in your hair with water while scrunching to fully hydrate your fair. After this I like to wet plop in my shower cap (like I referred to in my previous post)  to help my hair absorb the conditioner and stay wet till I want to dry it. Then I take my microfiber towel and micro plop. This means to scrunch my hair with the towel to squeeze out any access water – but don’t be too generous with this step to keep your curl clumps you created in the shower intact. I apply this foam using the flip coat scrunch method that I described in my previous post (it’s exactly like it sounds). Foam is so important to use as your first step because it adds hydrating back into your hair with added hold but without the water weight. *this foam is found in Canada Walmart’s and some American 2.giovanni - L.a. Natural Styling Gel I add this after using the same exact method. This gel requires your hair to be damp so it works perfectly with this routine. *A pro tip is that everyone looks for Giovanni products at Winners and Marshalls which usually has a pretty good selection in the nature haircare section but most Safeway’s actually carry Giovanni products in their natural section! 3.Herbal Essences - Set Me Up Max Hold Gel I sometimes add another gel on top if I want extra hold. This step is not needed but I know the Giovanni gel is really hard to find for Canadians. *I’ve heard some people say this is discontinued but the twisted gel in the purple bottle is literally exactly the same. 4.eva·nyc - Mane Magic 10-in-1 Mousse Finally I finish with the eva nyc mousse. This is a very lightweight mousse that adds hold and hydration. I found this at Winners (Sally’s also carries it) but honestly any mousse works well instead. Like I mentioned above you can use this routine with honestly any products you want but make sure to follow the mousse/foam, gel, mousse/foam application method. Your results with voluminous with a whole lot of definition!

RESTORING Facial Serum Vitamin C

Giovanni 50/50 = MalibuC undo goo dupe!
Giovanni 50/50 = MalibuC undo goo dupe!
The Giovanni 50/50 Balanced Hydrating Clarifying Shampoo is my favorite clarifying shampoo because it doesn’t leave my hair feeling stripped but it still gets all the build up out. It is sulfate and paraben free and citrus scented. I often get buildup on my scalp more than my hair but this takes care of all of it. I have curly hair that will frizz at the drop of a dime but this shampoo didn’t make anything worse so long as it’s used with a great conditioner. giovanni - 50/50 Balanced Hydrating-Clarifying Shampoo I found this to be identical to the Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Shampoo that was pricier and hard to find. In fact, my bf couldn’t tell the difference between the two and recommended I just filll up the old Malibu C bottle with the Giovanni so we can have a pump for it lol. Both are great products but the 50/50 was $7 at Publix while the Malibu C runs for $16 at the same size. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ giovanni - 50/50 Balanced Hydrating-Clarifying Shampoo
