Square nails or rounded? 💅🏽
🌟 Since I like growing out my nails, I always find it fun to play round with different nail shapes to find which one best suits my hands/fingers. Over the years I’ve played around with square nails and rounded tips to see what I like more. TBH, it all depends on my mood. Depending on the color, theme, and season (yes the seasons lol) will determine what nail shape I like. For instance, if I’m attending a more formal event or party, I tend to go for a rounded shape on my nails. IMO, it looks a bit classier and nudes/neutrals compliment that shape the best 💛 However, I’ll still play around with a pop of color. If it’s just a “treat yo self” mani, I typically go for the square shape. It’s easy, looks great with everything and also makes my fingers look a bit longer. I’ve been told I have really small hands haha 😆 Tell me, what’s you favorite nail shape? I definitely want to pay around with more round shapes when nail salons open back up ✨ Want to get these shapes without having to spend $$ at the salon? Honestly, all you’ll need are nails clippers, nail file, and buffer. Clip off or just file nails to desired length For rounded shape, file nails using a C motion until nails are to your desire. For square nails, file both sides of your nail to make it even and then file the top of the nail straight across. Use a nail buffer to smooth sides and rough edges ✨ JAPONESQUE - Travel Manicure Set TRIM - Nail Care 4-Step Color-Coded Buffing Block Any nail file will do! 💛 #CheriePartner

Grow strong healthy nails! 💪🏽
In all the years that I have been getting my nails done, I have never gotten acrylics or any sort of synthetic nails. Yup! You read that right. I used to be an avid nail biter, like most kids are, but decided I’m middle school to try my hardest to stop biting. It took a couple weeks before I fully kicked the habit, but it worked and I haven’t bitten nails since! 🙌🏽 Not only did I kick a non-hygienic habit, but I also realized how nicely my nails would grow out, how strong they became, and I would get super excited to do my nails too 😄 Ever since then, if I couldn’t make it to the nail shop, I would try my best to clean, cut, file, and buff my nails to ensure having healthy nails. Since being in quarantine and unable to go to the nail shop, here some the tools I’ve been using to keep my nails healthy! ✨ JAPONESQUE - Travel Manicure Set I love this manicure kit because it has every tool you would need to do you own nails. I usually go for the nail clippers, the nail file, and the cuticle pusher to do my nails but all the tools will come in handy. I also use these tools on my toes for my at home pedis #HeeYaa - Emery Board[products]#[FiveStars] these are my favorite emery boards! I bought these from Amazon and 10pcs came in a pack. Enough to go around for my household and also Incase I lose one lol Any black emery board will do, but these are cheap and great quality! TRIM - Nail Care 4-Step Color-Coded Buffing Block this little buffer is perfect for at home manis. Each side is labeled with a number so you exactly how to use it and in what order. Since being home in quarantine, I decided to not paint my nails as often and the buffer allows me to still achieve some shine without having to paint my nails 🌟 So here some of my tips to achieving healthy and long nails: Cut back on using acrylics, gels and even regular polish. Sometime just allowing your nails to breathe can contribute to its growth. Save some $$ and time by doing your own at home manis. The three items I listed above are all you need and if don’t want to purchase the entire manicure set, just buy the items that you would use the most 🙌🏽 Use a cuticle oil, or any light weight oil, to moisturize your cuticles and nail beds. Hope these tips help! 🌟 #CheriePartner

Easy at home pedicures! 🌼
🌻 I have not been to a nail spa since the start of this pandemic, but this has helped me save a ton of money by simply learning to do my own nails including my pedicures. 1. I start usually in the shower by using my EARTH THERAPEUTICS - Precisso Plus Pedicure File to get rid of any dead skin on my heels. I love this foot file; it’s double sided with one side using a course-textured surface to get rid of stubborn dead skin, while the side with a finer surface is used to smooth your skin. An added bonus is that is has a mini removable file located in the handle itself. It typically use this for more precise work. Highly recommend for at home spa work 🧖🏻‍♀️ 2. I then go in with my JAPONESQUE - Velvet Touch Manicure Nipper to clip my nails and then an emery board to file and shape them. This guy is heavy heavy duty and super sharp so be very careful if you’re a beginner. I prefer using a nipper vs a traditional clipper because it can easily clip through thicker nail beds. This also has smooth rubber handle which makes gripping a lot easier on my hands 🙌🏽 3. To clean under the nails, I use a point tip tweezer such as the JAPONESQUE - Pro Performance Tweezer Duo to remove any gunk lol 🤢 if you do have an ingrown nail remover, that will definitely work better 😆 but this tweezer is the perfect size and it comes in a pack of two so I can use one for facial hair removal and the other for my nails 💅🏽 4. I use a lotion like ACURE - Seriously Soothing 24hr Moisture Lotion to soften my skin after I’ve done everything else. This lotion is uh-mazing! I bought it for my eczema but I use it in my entire body because it leaves my skin feeling extra soft. 🧴 ⭐️ This is by no means comparable to professional pedi (which I miss terribly) but it’s enough to keep my nails clean, cut and tidy. Have you mastered the at home mani/pedi yet? #CheriePartner **my mom took my foot file and haven’t been able to use it since lol I’ll be purchasing another one from ULTA

For beginners! Simple Ways To Fill In Your Eyebrows For A Natural Appearance!
I have light eyebrows. Having a poor eyebrow wax, going tweezer happy at home, or thinning my brows can leave me with an awkward brow shape. So now I clean them up in a way that makes them appear natural by filling them in using specific techniques, tools, and colors. Today I would like to share How To FILL them Naturally! Step1 Brush Eyebrows First Before filling in your brows, use an angled brow brush (also known as a slanted liner brush) to brush your brows upwards. Step2 Select the Right Tools and Products and fill eyebrows Beginners can try the popular JAPONESQUE - Brow KitEyebrow Kit which has all the tools you need to define your eyebrows. I am usually using a powder, get a stiff angled brush. The stiff bristles of the brush are great for control when putting the product on and defining your eyebrow shape. Then I will apply a SIGMA - Prime + Control Brow Waxbrow wax to will keep your brows from smudging.  Step3  Shape eyebrows When it comes to shaping your eyebrows for a naturallook, consider what would best complement your face shape. The main thing you want to do is create some shape by using small hair-like strokes. Make sure that the front of your brows aren't squared off or appear too harsh. You also don't want to overextend the tail end of your eyebrow, which can draw your face down. Finally, for a natural look, avoid an arch that is too pointy or over-exaggerated and instead focus on a simple and smooth curve.
