Fall MakeOver 🍂💆🏾♀️
It’s Fall! ( basically I mean Starbucks is selling their pumpkin spice lattes ) it’s time for a switch up, time to make a few changes. I have been in braids ALL year & ALL quarantine pretty much so i decided to switch up my lewk and wear my natural hair. It’s not a new thing for me to wear my natural hair but I was giving it a break from the constant blowouts I use to do ( Ugh the amount of heat they use 🙄) I believe late December 2018 I had the bright idea of changing my hair color, for almost 2 years I had Magenta/Red hair. It was cute at first i loved then my natural hair color started growing in and it wasn’t cute no mo 😢. I went to my local beauty supply store and purchased two bottles of Dark and Lovely - Fade Resist Rich Conditioning Color **I took my braids out over the labor day weekend. I didn’t use my rice water just as yet ( it’s in the fridge). I didn’t use it because I knew I wanted to dye my hair and I didn’t know how the proteins in the rice would react with the dye in my hair so the NEXT time I wash my hair I will be using the rice water!** I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dye, it left my hair looks so shiny & healthy. It didn’t irritate my scalp & the box came with a good size conditioner that was really moisturizing to the hair.
