Suns out buns out!!
3 of my favorite facial sun screens face sunscreens, their ingredients, their uses, and prices. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer FACE Sunscreen SPF 55- $13.00 Great for under makeup. Super light weight, dries clear and leaves no sticky residue behind. Good for a no makeup day or matte makeup day in skin prep. Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF30 Active ingredients Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 10%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 7.5%, Oxybenzone 5% Inactive ingredients Water, Silica, Cetyl Dimethicone, Styrene/acrylates Copolymer, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Steareth-100, Phenoxyethanol, Pentylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Steareth-2, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polyester-7, Chlorphenesin, Disodium Edta, Bisabolol, Acrylates/dimethicone Copolymer, Fragrance, Butylene Glycol, Diethylhexyl 2,6-naphthalate, Bht, Mannan, Xantham Gum, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, Retinyl Palmitate Supergoop Glow Stick Sunscreen SPF 50- $25 Great for under makeup or on its own in skin prep. Leaves a STUNNING glow behind. Not great for Hiking/camping but rather good for a day at the beach or lounging pool side. Supergoop! - Glow Stick SPF 50 Active Ingredients: Avobenzone 3.0%, Octisalate 5.0%, Octocrylene 10.0% Inactive Ingredients: C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Calendula Officinalis Extract, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dibutyl Ethylhexanol Glutamide, Dibutyl Lauroyl Glutamide, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Isododecane, Isohexadecane, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit Oil, Octyldodecanol, Pentaclethra Macroloba Oil, Polyester-8, Tocopherol Color Science Sunforgettable Brush on sunscreen SPF 50- $65 THIS product is incredible and easier to carry around then an aerosol spray can for SPF touch ups over makeup or if you have kinds to wrangle and already have a bag full of LIFE supplies. This is a powder that you can put on bare skin or on top of makeup throughout the day. Also great for men, for hair lines and parts, and especially great for the scalp on thinning hair. Not great for bald spots as there is nothing for the powder to stick to. colorescience - Sunforgettable Brush-on Sunscreen SPF 50 (Original Formula) Vegan: Yes Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 22.5%; Zinc Oxide 22.5% Inactive Ingredients: Mica, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol/Propylsilsequioxane/Silicate Crosspolymer, Lycopodium Clavatum Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Imperata Cyclindrica Root Extract, Glycerin, Water, Caesalpinia Spinosa Fruit Pod Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Quercus Robur (Oak) Wood Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Sprout Extract, Maltodextrin, Methicone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Laureth-4, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Iron Oxides (CI77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).

One of the problems all skincare addicts face is, "How do you reapply sunscreen over your makeup?" So I asked to review the ColoreScience Sunforgettable Powder Sunscreen SPF50 PA++++ to address this problem. This powder sunscreen comes with an antibacterial brush applicator. It contains a whopping 22.5% titanium dioxide and 22.5% zinc oxide and has the highest UVA rating in the PA rating system, so it's a truly broad-spectrum sunscreen. It took me a while to "activate" the brush (before the first use) and I had to rub the brush vigorously on my hand for quite some time before the powder started coming out. But I was impressed with how fine the sunscreen powder is and how well it blended with my skin tone. In fact, it was a bit difficult to tell if I had applied it evenly because it was invisible on my skin. Even though you're supposed to apply in circular motions, I couldn't really tell if the powder was coming out evenly. For that reason, I suggest using this powder as an additional sunscreen for reapplication rather than as your base sunscreen, simply because I couldn't really tell where I had applied it. The powder itself wore very comfortably. My skin is quite sensitive right now, and it didn't irritate areas where I have dermatitis (almost healed now yay!). It didn't dry out my skin (it actually contains hyaluronic acid to help moisturize). This isn't really an oil-absorbing powder so I still looked kind of dewy throughout the day. Overall, I'd give top marks for the powder itself, but slightly less for the brush applicator due to the difficulty applying it evenly. This will definitely be something I keep in my purse to reapply sunscreen, though I'll still use a cream/milk sunscreen as my base.

EASIEST WAY TO REAPPLY SUNSCREEN
Did you know that reapplication of sunscreen is near as important as the initial? I went to college in Hawaii and for so long, I struggled with the concept of questioning how to reapply sunscreen to my face, after finishing my makeup. I would be on campus all day, knowing that after two hours your girl was in danger. Fast forward a few years, and along came the discovery of mineral powder sunscreen. It is absolutely crucial, first and foremost, that you are wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen 365 days of the year; yes, even in the rain and snow. It is just as crucial to reapply sunscreen every two hours; most importantly to the skin on your body that is exposed to UV rays. I carry this guy by @colorescience and a travel size sunscreen in my purse, at all times, whether out running errands, or simply driving to the gym. You can dust this over your face, ears, neck, décolletage, hands + even throughout your scalp! colorescience - Sunforgettable Total Protection Brush-On Shield SPF 50 #cheriecreator

Just because it's cold out dose not mean you don't need to protect your skin with SPF. I highly recommend colorescience. I absolutely love the SUNFORGETTABLE TOTAL PROTECTION BRUSH-ON SHIELD SPF 50 It is powered by EnviroScreen Technology, this all-powerful, all-mineral skin shield provides complete protection in one convenient, on-the-go application—alone or over makeup. YEP you can apply it over your makeup. Sunscreen is so important. I have had a terrible scare as well as one of my very close friends. I urge you all to protect your skin all year long.

NURSING MAMA’S AM SKINCARE
Simple, quick, and effective AM skincare for a nursing mama! 🍼CLEANSE: By far my favorite simple and gentle cleaner, CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Gets the job done, pregnancy and nursing friendly, and contains ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. Does not irritate skin and good option for acne prone skin. 🍼TREAT: I just started incorporating the PCA skin - Pigment Gel HQ Free to help with hyperpigmentation due to postpartum acne scars. When I became pregnant, I had to discontinue all of my active ingredient products as they were not safe during pregnancy. Most are still considered unsafe while nursing, so it’s taken me a while to find something I am able to use. This is used as a spot treatment on the troublesome areas. *Must be HQ free and as always, consult your doctor before using a new product 🍼MOISTURIZE: My go-to moisturizer (safe for both face and body) CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Nice and thick which I prefer, but they also make a lotion which is a lot lighter and also great for both face and body. I don’t think I’ll ever use another “fancy” moisturizer again. 🍼SUNSCREEN: Always, always, always apply sunscreen no matter if you plan on being outdoors or not. Sunscreen is going to not only protect you from harmful UVA and UVB rays, but also help with hyperpigmentation. My favorite is elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I use the tinted version of this for some added coverage. Does not leave a white cast, does not feel greasy or heavy on the skin whatsoever. When I’m feeling extra, I’ll layer a bit of the colorescience - Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield Glow This sunscreen is a bit shimmery, so while I don’t like to apply all over, I’ll use this sunscreen almost as a highlight to the high points of the my fave where the sun would naturally hit like cheekbones and tip of nose. That’s it. Keeping it simple, fresh and effective with few active ingredients. It’s important to be aware of the ingredients in the products you are using as a nursing mama. Unfortunately, a lot of active ingredients are off limits, but I’ve found a few that have proven to be safe and effective. I do use a few more actives during my PM routine. Also, I’m interested in incorporating a Vitamin C serum into my AM routine. Any recommendations for me to check out?

Abscorbyl Glucoside and Niacinamide HELP
Hi! I've finally gotten my skin clear of hormonal acne (I've struggled with PCOS since 16) and right now I'm trying to get rid of a couple of hyperpigmentation spots and blackheads on my nose. My current routine is: AM: Wash with water and add colorescience - Sunforgettable Daily UV Protector SPF 30 PM: 1)Take of makeup with CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (I'm actually looking for a better product, so if you have a good recommendation for oily/ sensitive skin please let me know) 2)Wash with Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser (has Salicylic Acid) 3)Add The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 4)Moisturize with DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum (I know they suck as a company but I've tried EVERY moisturizer I can think of and they leave my skinf oily) However I would like to add these two products to my routine: The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA[] , which I've heard can translate into hydroquinone (I've tried the actual hydroquinone and it actually made a couple of my spots darker) The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%[] which I've heard is the gentlest vitamin C serum there is, but I've researched everywhere and I'm confused: TO web chart says that Abscorbyl Glucoside can be paired with Niacinamide 10% BUT everywhere else says that I shouldn't mix TO vitamin C and their derivatives with their Niacinamide. Does anyone know if this is an exception? Thanks so much for your help! ❤️

Eye cream with SPF 💕
Eye cream with SPF 💕
This Colorescience Total Eye has become one of my favorite eye creams! It has SPF 35, and it’s tinted so it acts as an under eye concealer but is perfect even for days where you don’t want to wear any makeup. Also the applicator tip is always chilled so it works as a depuffing agent as well! My secret tip is to keep it in a cool place, like a skin care fridge. Even the the applicator is chilled, leaving it in a cold space makes it even cooler and will help depuff the under eyes even more. If you’re on the market for a new daily eye cream, give this one a try! colorescience - Total Eye 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35 I gave it only 4 stars because of its tint, I wouldn’t use this product at night. But that’s really it! #eyecream #colorescience #CherieCreator

So, I’ve been testing out color science for about a week now. I’ve been testing out their colorescience - Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield Glow for about a week and I am in love. This sunscreen is like no other. It gives you a beautiful luminous glow. It is SPF 50!!! Usually I only find good sunscreens that are SPF 30 so, I was super happy when I found this! I saw this on @whatsonvisface on instagram, if you don’t follow her yet... what are you doing? Lol but, this sunscreen does not clog my pores and is super hydrating!! What’s your fave spf? Let me know!

Night Regimen 😻🔥💚 Sweet Dreams!
Night Regimen 😻🔥💚 Sweet Dreams!
This is my current night regimen routine. I love these products and back them 100%. I am a licensed professional. I will admit the face wash and toner are not my usual go to’s but I was short on time and cash so I picked these up. I usually would use ComfortZone products for these two steps. I also am out of moisturizer 🤦🏻‍♀️😫 for this I would use SkinMedica as well. These products have takin me from acne to clear smooth skin! colorescience - AHA/BHA Exfolitaing Cleanser by SkinMedica SkinMedica - Age Defense Retinol Complex 0.5 N°7 - Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Eye Cream SkinMedica - TNS Eye Repair
