My new grail——Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse💗💗👏👏
What It Is Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is a multi-purpose dry oil that is supposed to nourish, repair and soften skin and hair. This Parisian masterpiece contains 97.8% ingredients of natural origin, including six precious plant oils: Macadamia, Hazelnut, Borage, Sweet Almond, Camellia and St. John’s Wort. It also has Vitamin E and is free of silicon, mineral oils, and parabens. My Experience Its name sounds a bit intimidating and the packaging looks “yayamanin”, but this product instantly became my humble skin’s best friend. It has replaced my night time moisturizer and I also sometimes use it as a body lotion. I like how it is instantly absorbed into my skin and doesn’t leave a greasy look or feel even though it’s an oil– which is probably why they called it a “dry oil”. I have combination (semi-oily) skin, that’s why I was surprised that this product actually worked for me. On my good-skin days, I can get away with applying only this to my face. No need for foundation or highlighter to achieve a healthy glow. Those days, however, are rare. Most of the time, I need to wear at least some concealer or a thin layer of foundation to hide my blemishes and even out my skin tone. So I mix a very small amount of Huile Prodigieuse with my foundation, and this mixture gives my skin that flawless-but-still-natural, dewy look. Make sure you do NOT combine it with oil-controlling foundations, though. I noticed that it didn’t go very well with my oil-controlling foundation, which wasn’t surprising because an oil-controlling formula will obviously counteract oil.Such a luxurious product, an alternative to a moisturiser, that leaves my skin feeling so silky and soft. The smell is not too strong but strong enough that I get a hint of it when I am out and about which I love. As a body oil, I like how it softens and moisturizes my skin, without the greasy or sticky feeling. For my hair, I just spritz some of this dry oil on to my hair to tame the frizz. I do this on those days when I’d rather skip the heavy or sticky products I normally use to define my curls. Although Huile Prodigieuse does not define my curls as well as my curling creams and sprays do, it’s good enough for ordinary days when I just want to wear my hair au naturel.  I love it and would definitely repurchase. It’s a very light oil, not heavy at all not greasy.

Common Heat Styling Mistakes😐😐
Picture this: you’re in a rush to get to work, class, an event, etc., and you decide to quickly run your styling tool through your hair without product. Not only that, but you may have even been using your tool on its max temperature setting, despite your hair type. We’ve all been there. BUT no matter what texture hair you have, these practices can be incredibly damaging to your strands! Here, I will share some common heat styling mistakes I’ve made and how I’ve solved them.   ALWAYS Use Heat Protectant (and Heat-Friendly Products!) My very long, very thick wavy hair is super prone to damage, so I build up my heat protection from the very beginning. I begin by using my favorite shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. If you have long hair that’s prone to damage and split ends, the L’Oréal Dream Lengths line of products is made for you. The oils in these products help strengthen the hair shaft, reducing breakage. The No Hair Cut Leave-In Conditioner also offers heat protection up to 450 degrees F. Lastly, I follow up with the KÉRASTASE - Discipline Anti Frizz Smoothing Spray to keep my ultra-frizzy roots at bay.   Your Iron is Too Hot This is a sin I am so guilty of committing. Using the highest temperature setting on my iron always speeds up the process. However, using hot tools on your hair, especially every day, can put a lot of stress on your tresses. No matter what your hair type is, the maximum temperature your irons should be is 400 degrees F.   Follow up with Hair-Healthy Oils After curling or straightening, my hair can sometimes appear in need of a moisture boost. That’s why I always use a couple of my favorite hair oils to introduce sleekness and definition. The NUXE - Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil is a fantastic French multi-use oil that I use every day. I spritz a bit in my hand and smooth over my hair for a bit of shine and a yummy scent. Other oils I love using are the KÉRASTASE - Elixir Ultime Oil Serum and the L'ORÉAL - Elvive Extraordinary Oil for Colored Hair. The Kérastase oil is pricy, but the quality is fantastic. This oil smells amazing and leaves hair tangle-free and sleek. However, a little goes a LONG way and I would only recommend this product to those with thicker hair, since it is very viscous. On the other hand, the L’Oreal Elvive oil is a much more affordable option at almost 1/5th the cost of the Kérastase oil, and it’s much more suited towards thinner hair. It also smells amazing and is super effective in smoothing out frizz and adding a boost of shine.

I'm treating myself by opening my oskiaskincare Renaissance Cleansing Gel. I've had it in my stash for a bit and have missed it! If you've not tried it before it's an absolutely gorgeous rose scented gel that turns to an oil. It's perfect to give your face a good massage. So lush! It contains enzymes to brighten skin tone too. ⭐ I'm going to put on my dr.botanicals Coconut and Cocoa mask and have a hot bath with some aroma therapy associates Deep Relax oil in it. Bliss. The mask is a fantastic mix of hydration and nourishment from cocoa butter and coconut oil, whilst also purifying thanks to kaolin clay. The bath oil is a perfect mix of carefully chosen essential oils all designed to chill you out. It works - love it! ⭐ The nuxe body oil is one of my favourites. It smells like an expensive French perfume. I've actually got the matching perfume - I love the scent that much! It's a dry oil so you're not left feeling greasy, just hydrated. ⭐ I've just recently opened the aurelia skincare Probiotic Concentrate. Another one from my stash 🙈 I thought it might help sort out my acne which has annoyingly flared up again 🙄I had a good few months of practically clear skin then boom💥the spots are back with avengence! I think some of it has been to do with a couple of Vitamin C serums that I tried (not at the same time obviously). I stopped using them as soon as the spots appeared so hopefully it'll clear up now🤞🏻It's so difficult trying to figure out the cause sometimes - I mean to could be so many things or a combination 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyone for super soft skin? 😊 As a fan of a softening body oil I was excited when cult French pharmacy brand nuxe released the latest incarnation of its classic Huile Prodigieuse- the Huile Prodigieuse Florale. This lightweight dry oil offers all the benefits of the original- including nourishing tsubaki and argan oils- with the addition of a light floral scent. Friendly rose gold bottle, this oil is suitable for face, body and hair- leaving a subtle sheen in its wake. Made from 96.6% natural ingredients, and free from silicones, parabens and mineral oil, Huile Prodigieuse Florale offers some serious skin-softening power as well as long-lasting hydration. It's spray applicator and fast dry finish makes for super-quick application post-beach and pre-getting dressed too. Do you have a favourite body oil year-round or do you prefer?

Favorites Hand Creams
Things I have learned with cute packaging and fragrances in skincare is to beware. Do not fall for that, you must be attracted by the ingredients and textures. If the product have both of your desires then go for it 🙃 Some brands really invest their money in ingredients and quality over the beauty of packaging. Also you should know that strong perfumes are harmful for the skin. You can choose a product with scent inside ,but this scent must have been extracted from plants, fruits, vegetables or nature. - Artificial Fragrance appear strong because there must contains various type of alcohol to continuously penetrate the odor on your skin. **same function as a perfume** These fragrances you are attracted to when you smell them are chemically created wich mean you dont really know what ingredients are used to create this. Basically, when you read the label behind the bottle, you can see the list of ingredients wich 50% of them are unknown by their spelling ,unless you are a specialist, maybe you could know. So we use products that most of the time we cannot identify the function of their ingredients, their necessity and the effects because the company wont tell their secrets. -Alcohol and fragrance can be very drying for the skin *ANTISEPTIC is enough alcohol for your hands. So here both of my favorite HAND CREAMS 🤍 NUXE - Rêve de Miel Hand And Nail Cream CA 10-12$ / 50ml With Honey scent 🍯 Precious Oils and Vitimin E nourishes and repairs | Non-greasy texture | Silky feeling | CONSONANT SKINCARE - Organic Hand Cream CA 20$ / 118 ml UNSCENTED with Cocoa Butter,Vitamin E,Rosemary Extract Long-lasting moisturization | Non-greasy texture | Leave hands soft | Intensive Therapy Noncomedogenic : avoid skin pore blockages and unwelcome signs of acne Hypoallergenic 100% natural

Favorite affordable products to add to your routine that really work
Summer is coming, it’s nearly shorts and tee weather. I have noticed how dry and sad my skin is, horribly dull-looking with flaky patches; and this, combined with the fact I’m broke, is making me really depressed. So I decided to do something about it.   Taking some time out of my day to find some products that really work and won’t break the bank wasn’t easy. I read all the reviews and ordered these products online and within a few days I could see the results! They were so good I had to share them with you.   Face - Caudalie Beauty Elixir This product is amazing, it really hits dry skin hard! Do your usual cleansing routine and then add it at the end before your makeup. Caudalie is known for making hard-working products at an affordable price and this is no exception. It smells amazing, feels like silk on the skin and the result is radiant, glowing, plump skin. Suits all types of skin that need hydration and the best effect is that it tightens the skin, making you look more awake - even younger. Love it! Great price to just $12 for 30ml on Amazon.   Nuxe Ultra nourishing lip balm Winter has really taken its toll on my face and lips. My lips looked horrible, dry, and cracked. Something needed to be done, fast! Enter Nuxe Ultra nourishing lip balm. Massage this balm into the lips; its gorgeous thick and creamy texture gave me instant relief. You can also use it as an overnight mask to wake up with smooth, nourished lips. Seriously good at $10, you can’t go wrong.   Caudalie hand and nail cream When getting my nails done recently the manicurist commented on how dry and sore my hand looked, and she gave me a great tip. Caudalie hand and nail cream is brilliant. It nourishes, protects, and repairs dry hands. It is not greasy at all and smells amazing; a delicate perfume of musk, neroli, and ginger - seriously good, and at only $9.50 you can’t lose!   If anyone had told me I could sort out my dry skin for just over $30 I would not have believed them, but it’s true and you can save more money by ordering the bigger sizes. So what are you waiting for? After all those summer cocktail

NUXE Rêve de Miel lip balm
NUXE - Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm 15g I picked this lip balm up in Germany after having it on my wish list for a while, and it’s very nice, especially because it isn’t a shiny finish and is a natural finish to put a matte lipstick over. You get a lot so it is worth the money. Sometimes it has a really weird texture if you apply too much but usually it’s good.

My holiday day time essentials
My holiday day time essentials. larocheposay has been a revelation in terms of matte, highly absorbent, high factor facial SPFs. It is a real pleasure to wear and has not clogged my pores so far. A typical problem I have. No fragrance. nuxe is a really high quality brand imo. I adore the dry oil and their SPFs are gorgeous. Faint hints of honeysuckle and vanilla, light & creamy texture. feels very lux. Higher price than ordinary spf but you can certainly find good offers online. Alcohol free 👍🏻 Both SPFs mentioned are non-comedogenic (shouldn’t cause blocked pores) + paraben free.

These are definitely products
These are definitely products I would repurchase. The Nuxe dry oil soothed and softened my skin and gave me a lovely shimmer! Being a dry oil it didnt leave me feeling greasy and i could wear clothes immediately after application!! when spraying it has stained my sheets, so do this in your bathroom is my advice. (it washes out quite easily though!)

Tackle Aging! Here're my 3 Favourite Night Creams
Tackle Aging! Here're my 3 Favourite Night Creams
Just recently I have decided to adjust my routine to how I feel my skin is doing. My main concern is battling the aging process, I find the best time to feed your skin is at night when you’re asleep.   Maybe I’m unusual but I have 3 favorite night creams in my skin routine. If my skin is behaving I do my normal evening routine; using Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Night. It’s an anti-wrinkle cream, which is very moisturizing. What’s really great about this cream is that it promotes the production of hyaluronic acid; all of this powerful action is due to the amino acid complex that boosts collagen in the skin which actively smoothes out wrinkles.   On the days I spend traveling around the city and my skin gets stressed as a result, I turn to Nuxe Night Recovery Oil Balm Crème Prodigieuse Boost. It’s a ridiculously long name but despite that, it’s a beautiful cream with a wonderful texture and smell. Full of antioxidants to detox the skin from pollution, with jasmine flower to help skin recover from my hectic lifestyle.   Whatever happens in my life, I use the Clarins Extra-firming Night Cream twice a week. This cream is thicker than the other two. Extremely moisturizing for days when my skin is dry and needs more care. Hot summers, air conditioning, and pollution are good examples of what stresses the skin.   Also, although we love those beach days, they can wreak havoc with our skin, so Clarins Extra-firming Night Cream is a great summertime dehydration deterrent. The cream goes on like silk, absorbs fast, and isn’t at all sticky. The results are great, it leaves the skin feeling tight and plump: like a facelift in a jar.   It always surprises me when I hear that my friends are not using a night cream. No matter how young you are, why would you not take advantage of all that hard work carried out to great effect on your skin at night, while you’re asleep? Total win, win for you, your skin   I bought all three creams on Amazon and I got a great deal by buying them together, so what are you waiting for?
