Rate my routine, suggestions welcome 👌
Hey guys this is my first post. Most of these products I bought after reading reviews and learning how to read ingredient lists on here. I use YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser cleanser with an electric silicone face brush. This can be a little hard to fully rinse off but, my skin is soft and glows after. Then I use HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Spray to tone and prepare for my first essenceHADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion which is very moisturizing and slimy. I use this for both the moisture and the niacinamide. I wait until it is fully dry the spritz more rose water and follow up with CosRx snail mucin ferment essenceCOSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence . After that I will either add this combo: The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane and then belif - Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask or the CosRx snail all in one cream COSRX - Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream to keep this oil on my skin and not my pillow lol Or go straight to Embryolisse - Lait Crème Concentré this is thick and I will either use it as a moisturizer or load it on as a sleeping mask. I mainly do skincare at night and I know that I should add a vitamin C and sunscreen during the day but, I haven’t found any moisturizing ones that I like yet/that are simple enough for me to slap on and give adequate protection. Please let me know your thoughts 😊

Saturdays no fuss skin care - moisturizer and eye cream
Most of the times I stay up late on Friday evenings. And this means waking up late, with little to no mood to do much on Saturdays. Saturday is not only my lazy day, but also a day to spend time with the family, most of the times doing stuff around the house. So, this means I haven’t worn makeup on a Saturday since I don’t remember when! And I’m not doing too much in terms of skin care either! I mean it’s Saturday, my beauty routine can take a day off, I’m doing so much during weekdays, I feel that I can afford it. From Mon to Fri, I cleanse, put on an antioxidant serum or a brightening one, moisturizer and even an SPF lotion during sunny days. And this is just the morning routine. In the evening, I cleanse again, apply the serum – this time a nightly one – then eye serum, eye cream, facial serum and moisturizer. Sounds like a lot, right? I don’t mind, I got used to it. But not on my Saturdays! What I couldn’t give up, not even on the lazy Saturdays is moisturizer. So, my no-fuss Saturday skin care consists of just 2 products – daily moisturizer and an eye cream. To be honest, it was just the moisturizer at first, but the eye cream was needed as my eyes looked really tired after staying up late the night before. I use Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentre for the face. It’s a bit of a 3-in-1 that I loved from the first moment. It’s moisturizing cream, but at the same time can be used as a moisturizing face mask and even as a primer. The texture is divine, milky and white, with a superb fragrance. And it makes my skin plump instantly, which is adorable! For the eyes, I use a product from the same brand, Embryolisse Smoothing Eye Contour Care. It’s great for fine lines and wrinkles, as well as dark circles and puffiness. It is light, doesn’t leave behind a greasy film or makes the skin go tight. Feels great and it only takes 2 minutes!

Best eye care products – hydration, dark circles and firmness
I don’t have crow’s feet around my eyes or excessive puffiness; however, the skin in this area seems to have gotten somehow thinner with time. I also get occasional dark circles (usually when I don’t sleep through the night or I spend too much time inside working on my laptop). So, I started using some eye products to correct the imperfections and get firmer skin in the area. I first got the caffeine solution from The Ordinary, then I decided I need a more hydrating cream and got Embryolisse Smoothing Eye Contour and some time later I started using the squalane around the eyes too. Now I love this combination and it did improve the aspect of the skin in the eye area. The skin is better hydrated, seems more elastic and less thin. Each product seems to do a different, but complementing job, so I use all three of them now. Here is what I like best about each product: The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG It has an oily texture and I only need like one drop for each eye area. I massage it into the skin using gentle circular motions and it doesn’t take long to be fully absorbed. After the application, the skin is left firm, but not overly moisturized, this is why I decided to follow up with a more hydrating cream. Embryolisse Smoothing Eye Contour Embryolisse - Smoothing Eye Contour Care So, I got this one! I like it because it doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue, I find this just unacceptable when it comes to eye care. The texture is light, and it is absorbed instantly into the skin. I discovered that little goes a long way with this eye contour, so I only use a small amount of cream. And still it felt like something was missing…   The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane And this is when I started to use the squalane in the eye area too. Since squalane tries to mimic the skin’s natural oils, it seemed like a good idea to use it around the eyes. Before this I only used it to massage the face. After the first application, I just couldn’t stop, so now I am using the squalane around the eye areas in the evenings, at least a few times per week or during the weekends. I wake up with smooth and hydrated skin that doesn’t feel thin at all!

Perfect for your desert skin🏜️
Time to talk about something that I like! This is my third tube of Embryolisse - Filaderme Emulsion and I still love it. Packaging: This one is in light teal and white. You can make a little mess when squeezing it out but no big problems about the packaging. Mine is 75ml/2.54 FL.OZ. Smell: Like baby skincare products. I do think it has fragrance inside. Feelings: My skin feels So Moist when applying this! I use it kinda like a primer before applying my foundation. It can be a little oily, so I don’t recommend anyone with normal or oil skin use this. But for desert skins that have chapped parts when using foundation this product is a perfect base!

Comparing five primers, which one's the best?
Embryolisse Filaderme Emulsion, Nourishing Repair Care Embryolisse - Filaderme Emulsion It has a milky white facial cream texture, and it's not greasy but it does ball up a little. I used the Embryolisse Filaderme Emulsion, Nourishing Repair Care, which didn't change my skin tone but kept my makeup on for longer. Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer #HOURGLASS - Veil Mineral Primer[products]#[ThreeStars] This is not suitable for dry skin due to its oily satin finish. It makes your skin tone fairer but it's a bit dry, so I'll usually use it in combination with a bit of serum. Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer Hydrating laura mercier - Hydrating Pure Canvas Primer I also choose the hydrating version for this primer. I think it's more moisturizing than Embryolisse and it doesn't ball up. It's moisturizing like the facial cream, and it's very affordable. I highly recommend it! Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water and Weightless Setting Spray smashbox - Photo Finish Primer Watersmashbox - Photo Finish Longwear Makeup Setting Spray Weightless This is a primer water and setting spray set which works really well. The travel-size packaging is very convenient for traveling. Guerlain L'Or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold Makeup Base GUERLAIN - L'Or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold I like the texture with its gold flakes. It's also quite moisturizing and I recommend it for dry skin.

Help sort out my routine for late 30s skin
Hi all! Welcome to skin in your late 30s. I am 37 and am at that wonderful crossroads between younger and older skin, meaning that I still get monthly hormonal jawline acne, have an oily t-zone... yet also the beginnings of wrinkles, plus large pores and dark spots from acne scars and sun damage. I have a number of products that I have been using but it’s been a little random as to when I use them. I also just got some direct acids and I’m looking for direction on when to use them in my routine. Here’s what I have: Cleansers innisfree - Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam DERMA•E - Anti-Wrinkle Cleanser Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil AM toner SUNDAY RILEY - Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner PM toner The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Eye cream BURT’S BEES - Renewal Smoothing Eye Cream Looking for recs! Serums / Treatments / Acids The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Sleeping Night Oil Masks and peels The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Several mud based masks- Mudmasky, Generation Clay Moisturizers Embryolisse - Lait-Crème Concentré Limited Edition London THE inkey LIST - Multi-Biotic The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer philosophy - Purity Made Simple Oil Free Mattifying Moisturizer And since I know pores are an issue for me I also have other Inkey products I haven’t tried yet in the THE inkey LIST - The Pore Wonders Set I really like a lot of these products but I don’t feel I am putting them on in the right order. I also think I may be missing something to really help with my dark spots? Any advice? Thanks!!

My beauty awards: My top 3 favs of all time
Guinot Hydra Beaute Toning Lotion You know that moment when you use a skincare product for the first time and you just know it in your bones that you’ll buy it over and over again? Well, I had this with Guinot Hydra Beauty Toning Lotion more than five years ago. It’s my go-to toner, incredibly moisturizing, non-drying and so awesome for words. Without question the best I ever used and perfect for my sensitive skin. Love the smell too!   Embryolisse Anti-Aging Firming Cream Embryolisse is a brand recommended by tons of makeup professionals from all over the world. And it’s for a good reason: it feels luxurious on the skin, like high end skincare products, but the price is fair. Embryolisse Anti-Aging Firming Cream absorbs easily, it’s silky and not greasy at all. Very hydrating, so perfect for my 35+ skin prone to drying. What I like best about it is that it seems to even the tone and skin is brighter. I use it in the evenings and apply a generous amount, but sometimes in the morning too, it is great to wear under makeup.   Guerlain Abeille Royale Face Treatment Oil It’s called Royale for a reason; I’ll tell you this! Guerlain Abeille Royale Face Treatment Oil is the precious gem that I keep in my beauty case. And it certainly looks like a piece and jewelry. And smells like a very expensive perfume too. It’s made with bee royal jelly, which partly explains the name. It’s a bit sticky when you apply it to the face and somehow watery, unusual for a face oil. Spreads easily and is actually quite a pleasure to apply it, feels very much like a spa experience. However, I prefer to use it only in the evenings, before I go to bed. My skin loves the hydration and I like the strong fragrance.

An amazing French pharmacy bra
An amazing French pharmacy brand embryolisse brings us Lait-Creme Concentre which is now the stuff of legend... Enriched with essential fatty acids and vitamins, this 3-in-1 lotion is amazing at nourishing areas of dryness and even protects from environmental aggressors. It’s light in texture and quickly absorbed but skin instantly feels hydrated and plump! It’s also an amazing base/primer for foundation which is what has made it famous behind the scenes of the fashion runways... I’ve been using it since the weekend in the mornings and love it and I’m sure you’ll see it pop up as a regular in my routines 💙

Three face creams for my skin on three different conditions
Three face creams for my skin on three different conditions
As is known to all, products vary so greatly according to their ingredients and functions. And after endless trails, I have found three face creams that would help my skin be in a good state on different conditions:  · First aid ultra repair cream  FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration This is so good for sensitive skin. I found my skin easily irritated during season changes and when I move to a different place. With so much going on, my skin is in need of specialized care and I am glad first aid perfectly provides that. When my face is irritated and even itchy, this is definitely my go-to face cream. I would press in on my fingers and then apply them on my face, I would feel my skin conditions instantly improved in that it is calmed down and no longer itchy.  · Embryolisse lait-crème concentre  Embryolisse - Lait Crème Concentré In English, it is a cream for concentrated cream with multiple functions. And it is highly recommended by makeup artists: I could totally see why. I usually use the cream in the morning before makeup. Because it has a very rich and thick texture that hydrates my skin greatly without making my skin oily. So it keeps my skin ready to have a good foundation.  · Elta MD skincare am therapy elta md SKINCARE - AM Therapy Facial Moisturizer Elta MD is famous for its sunscreen but I tried this facial moisturizer through a friend’s recommendation. I would go to this product when I am not wearing makeup and just want my skin kept in a light weighted moisture without too much burden. So that it is hydrated but could still breathe. I also found that it helps to brighten my skin tone, too. Recommended 👍🏻

French skincare for the win

This moisturizer is very popular amongst French women and French makeup artists too because it smooths the skin and preps it perfectly for makeup, now I do not wear foundation but this does smooth out my skin and hydrate it very well! It’s hard to describe the texture of it it’s like a bit watery but creamy, it has aloe Vera in it and Shea butter which both are very good for your skin. You get 2.7 ounces for 35$ which is very good in my opinion. I do like it very much, it is fragranced kind of smells like my grandmother but it does go away thankfully. I do recommend you guys check out the Embryolisse skincare line you can find it at urbanoutfitters and dermastore. 5/5 this is just a perfect everyday moisturizer and I can even use it at night too with my dry skin so this checks all the boxes!!

3 Best creams for irritated skin, hydration and sunscreen protection
3 Best creams for irritated skin, hydration and sunscreen protection
While I usually have no real skin concerns (aside from pigmentation spots, dehydration, occasional breakouts, etc. etc.), I recently noticed that I am frequently using not one, but three creams. No, it is not a part of a very complex skincare routine to ensure my skin stays forever smooth and young, the creams actually serve different purposes: - one calms down my skin when irritation occurs, another makes my skin moisturized and looking plump and the third one I have to use during summer for sunscreen protection. Here are the three creams I love and couldn’t live without:   Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentre – hydration Embryolisse - Lait Crème Concentré This cream was highly recommended by makeup artists from all over the world, so I didn’t really know what to expect the first time I’ve tried it. But it was love at first sight. I mean LOVE! The smell is rich and luxurious and make me feel like in a spa. The texture is smooth and fluid, even if it says “concentrated cream”. It is not greasy at all, it penetrates the skin instantly and it just feels good to apply it, if you know what I mean. I absolutely adore it and will probably buy it forever. I use it in the morning and evening, when I need some hydration during the day, after a shower, probably much more often than needed! And my skin looks better than ever, plump, supple and hydrated.   NUXE Sun Melting Cream High Protection- sunscreen protection Because my love Embryolisse comes without a SPF, I needed to get a new cream for when those months when the sun can really damage my skin. This was a great choice and I’m very pleased with it. Before I got it, I was prepared to use it after a daily moisturizer, just for the high SPF. But it turned out there is no need for another moisturizer when I’m using this cream. The texture is lovely, really rich and melting on your fingers. The smell not overly fragrant but pleasant. All in all, it is the best high protection cream I’ve ever used.   Avene Cicalfate Repair Cream – sensitive skin I don’t have sensitive skin. Well, at least not all the time! But there are days when the skin around the lip area is just flaky white. When I ignored it and hoped it would go away, it just got worst and stayed like that for days and even weeks. After I started using Cicalfate, I noticed that the flaky skin and the irritation usually disappear after one or two application. I apply it in the evenings most of the times, but I tried it under makeup, and it was great too.
