Post Retinol Hydration
I just recently start Tretinoin once per week and a day or so later my entire face is peeling. Standard as my skin needs to get used to the higher concentration, but not attractive. Hydration is key. I keep it simple when I’m peeling: Hydrating Eye Cream - belif - Eye Bomb Gwp - one of my favorites! This is going to keep your eye areas hydrated all day! It doesn’t do much for dark circles, but if you’re looking for a solution to dry under eye skin, try this one out. Remember under eye skin, eyelids, brow bone skin, and corners of eyes also need TLC. Hylaronic Acid - HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion - this lasts forever and contains five different molecular weights of HA. Remember with HA though, if there is no moisturizer in the air for it to grab moisture from its will take from other places, like your skin. I live in an area that is not typically humid, so I like to spray a layer of Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray on my bare skin and then apply the HA. Moisturizer - JORDAN SAMUEL skin - The Performance Cream - I typically use this in the winter time as a day time moisturizer or a night moisturizer in the summer since it’s heavy for my comb/oily skin in the summer, but since I’m in need of intense moisture, I’ll make an exception. This product contains squalene, glycerin which are two products that I always look for when I look for moisture. I have the JORDAN SAMUEL skin - The Matinee Gel Cleanser which I love so I am really excited to start trying more of this companies products.

Protini Polypeptide Dupe Bc my wallet hurts
Not a drill, this is a dupe for the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream: This post has been a long time coming and a ton of time researching. I, like many of you, received the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream in the Sephora Birthday Gift last year. I fell in love. It was light but hydrating, it tightened, brightened, and plumped up my skin— the only downside was the price tag 🏷 $70 for a 1.69 oz. moisturizer, 🥵. No, thanks! . . . I immediately went on a hunt for a dupe that had similar ingredients, the same gel-cream texture, and of course peptides! There really aren’t many moisturizers that have this texture or a range of peptides, but that seemed to be the secret sauce that dramatically changed my skin texture for the better. After fruitless and fatiguing research (3 months worth of reading ingredients lists), I happened upon the Jordan Samuel Peformance Cream and behold— an arguably better alternative. It’s $38 for 2 oz. It has a shorter and less complex ingredients list and does not contain heavy fillers like coconut oil. Instead it uses jojoba esters, glycerin, and squalane to hydrate. I’ve included the ingredients lists of each (Performance cream with black background and Polypeptide with white background). I think you’ll find that the Jordan Samuel Cream is simpler and overall better. I also want to add that a little goes a long way with this one. I know I’ll be using it for years to come.

Layering Acids in your Routine made EASY!
Every skincare routine should include some targeted ingredients that work to improve your specific skin conditions. These targeted ingredients are known as "actives". There are numerous skincare actives to incorporate and while some may really help your skin, over doing it can actually worsen the condition of your skin. Layering these products need to be done with caution to ensure the barrier of the skin is always protected first! ☆Finding the right actives for your skin concern: -Acne: this is often treated using various AHA or BHA products such as salicylic, lactic, glycolic, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, or azelaic acid -Aging: antioxidant products are a must! Active treatments include Vitamin A and C, as well as glycolic acid -Dryness: hydration from hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E -Oily Skin: use niacinamide, salicylic acid or glycolic acid to help regulate oil production -Dark spots/circles and Uneven Skin Tone: Brightening agents such as Vitamin C, kojic Acid and exfoliation using glycolic acid ☆How to use in your routine: Most active ingredients have exfoliating properties, so using a few times weekly is enough to get the skin benefits while keeping the skin barrier protected. You can incorporate them through a serum, oil, cream or toner formulation. I often prefer a potent serum as it can absorb into the skin quickly. A moisturizer with actives work great for more sensitive skin that can get irritated easily by strong formulas. Oily skin may like a toner that rids the skin of excess oils quickly! Finally, an oil is also a great way to use actives for sensitive or dry skin. *NOTE: Vitamin C, E and Hyaluronic Acid can be used daily in your routine unless irritation occurs. Some examples of my fave actives in different formulas: The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid dear, klairs - Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner JORDAN SAMUEL skin - Retinol Treatment Oil PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster ☆How to layer and combine different actives Now that you have an understanding of what actives are- let's talk about how to combine them! •Hyaluronic acid + ANY- HA is a hydrating ingredient that is naturally occuring in the body. It draws in moisture from the air, so it can be combined with any other active to help hydrate the skin. •Niacinamide + Vitamin A (retinol)- great combo for more sensitive skin but still improves appearance of skin texture and breakouts •Vitamin C + Azelaic Acid- improves efficacy, treats current and post acne breakouts and hyperpigmentation (use one in AM, other PM) •AHA + BHA- more potent combination to improve exfoliation on surface and below surface of skin •Vitamin C + Vitamin E- increases effectiveness for reducing signs of photodamage *all sources listed in comments

Here's my skincare routine for
Here's my skincare routine for this morning - I'm keeping it gentle and hydrating as I've still got a couple of dry, sensitive patches round my eyes from drunk elephant A-Passioni sample 🙈 Serves me right for using it 2 nights running! ⭐ a.florenceskincare Hydrating Gel Cleanser - Does exactly as promised, is incredibly hydrating. I left it on as a quick mask whilst I was in the shower. Such a gorgeous texture too. ⭐ herbivore botanicals Rose Hibiscus mist - my old favourite! ⭐ a.florenceskincare Super Serum - a beautiful, light emulsion with ceramides and Vitamin C. ⭐ jordan samuel skin Hydrate serum - a light, intensely hydrating serum with Hyaluronic Acid and hexapeptides. ⭐ kate somerville skincare Goat Milk De-Puffing Eye Balm - such a gentle, cooling balm. Really unique! ⭐ a.florenceskincare Skin Rehab Light - This cream comes in two versions; Rich - for dry skin and Light - for normal / combination skin. Both versions contain an amazing cocktail of nourishing ingredients including Centella (to calm skin), Beta-Glucan (to hydrate) and Ceramides (to strengthen the skin barrier). All these are designed to heal sensitive or compromised skin. Perfect for me with my acne! The cream itself is a light lotion, that sinks into skin beautifully. Skin is visibly hydrated and plumped. It's very soothing and gentle. Not to mention it's a gorgeous pink colour! 😆 I've been using this both AM & PM since I got it on Tues (which is rare for me to use the same cream both morning & night!) and I'm loving it so far! Another winner from A.Florence! ⭐ evytechnology Daily UV Face Mousse - My favourite super light SPF!

Hyaluronic Acid: One Empty one Newbie
Hyaluronic Acid: One Empty one Newbie
Empty: PESTLE & MORTAR - Pure Hyaluronic Serum 30ml I really love this hyaluronic acid, it is thin and sinks in quickly without being sticky. It really provides a good base hydration layer, especially when layered with other heavier products. It has vey luxe packaging, which is to be expected with the price tag. Newbie: JORDAN SAMUEL skin - Hydrate Facial Serum I love this HA as well, it is a huge bottle and is also very hydrating. The only hating I do not like about it is the scent, it has a sort of chemically scent, which is slightly off-putting. I also really enjoy that this one has a pump and not a dropper, because I feel like the dropper tends to waste a lot of product. Ultimately, I like them both equally in terms of efficacy, but the Jordan Samuel one is so much more affordable (both these sizes are about the same price) that it will definitely be the one I would repurchase between the two. But if you have the money to splurge, I would definitely go for the Pestle and Mortar one.

💛 hadalabotokyo Gokujyun Prem
💛 hadalabotokyo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion. This is everything promised and more! A bit confusing at first, luckily a lot of people here helped me out! Wet your face, I like to spray with my Herbivore rose Spray take a small amount and rub all over. Then pat the product in all over your face. It feels weird at first but it’s kinda fun to slap yourself! The next morning my skin is so bouncy and hydrated that I skip most of my morning routine. 🧡 herbivorebotanicals Phoenix Oil. This might unseat Juno as my favorite oil. Which is saying something cause I’ve tried A LOT of oils and nothing was better than Juno. Until now. Deeply nourishing and great for repairing irritated skin. And it’s so light! Juno is a very heavy oil, so I can’t always use it. Phoenix can be used anytime with almost anything! 💚 farmacy Green Clean. Hands down my favorite purchase from the sale. Gentle cleansing balm that effectively removes makeup. Skin is so soft after. I’ve even used this as a regular cleanser on non makeup days. It’s a fun shade of green with a Spicy citrus smell(kinda smells like my Indian grandmother’s house.) 🖤 jordansamuelskin Hydrating facial serum. My go to morning serum when I’m not using my DE C-Firma. It’s an aloe gel base, and contains Hyaluronic acid and a vitamin c derivative. So basically my three favorite things. 😂 I really want to try other things from his line now.

Have you seen jordansamuelskin
Have you seen jordansamuelskin Hydrate Serum texture?⁣ ⁣ I agree with you that there was nothing quite satisfying than seeing skincare's textures. I already talked about the ingredients inside this product as well. The combination of ingredients whipped together, form a light, springy and utterly perfect concoction. ⁣ ⁣ The transparent gel sort of texture offers up oil-free hydration, which when worked into the skin instantly melts like water, glides easily and sinks in quite quickly. I love how it gives an immediate soothing feeling. I took a big whiff of this product and couldn’t discern any smell to it too.⁣ ⁣ However, it leaves a tacky finish on the skin. I can confirm that after this gel dries, if I touch my skin it does feel a bit sticky. Even so, it doesn't feel uncomfortable as it feels weightless once it has sunk into the skin.⁣ ⁣ I also noticed it doesn’t layer well with my primer and makeup products. It will start balling up on my face like an old sweater, or more known as 'pilling'. That's why I only use this serum at night after having cleansed/toned my skin and before any other treatment. I use this every night because the formulation is simple, unlike a special-occasion treatment. Then, I always followed by either a moisturizer to 'seal' it. ⁣

skincare empties

✅ skinesis o
skincare empties ✅ skinesis overnight facial, eye recovery and age repair serum. ✅ jordansamuelskin hydrate serum. Love ❤️ ✅ paulaschoice niacinamide booster. Unfortunately I cannot see any effect from niacinamide (not only Paula’s, but every I have tried), so stop experimenting with it ✅ jurlique moisturizing mask ❤️ it was my second tube. ✅ luciamagnaniskincare energizing toner. Toner for 120$ 🙈 it is good spray, can say nothing bad, but price is too high to repurchase ✅ dermalogica mist. Love mist, but not spray pump:( ✅ arconalosangeles gentle solution. Night treatment for sensitive skin with lactic/glycolic acids. Good effect but sticky. ✅ mgc.derma skincare neck/décolleté serum. Liked it, but again, pump is terrible.
