These two products for Broken barrier ❤️
These two from @pureheals work as a power combo for anyone who experiences some disruption in skin barrier. I have experienced great improvement in skin, it helped in fast healing and smoothening out the rough texture on skin. Pureheals is a korean brand which speaks for the quality of their products. Centella 90 Ampoule PureHeals - Centella 90 Ampoule is purely a Centella Asiatica product. If you don't know what Centella Asiatica or widely known as Cica is, it is a plant based ingredient that's used in skincare to soothe and calm the inflammation. It also helps in reducing redness or any type of irritation on skin. It is mostly hypoallergenic which is why it's added is many calming products Asian countries. This Ampoule is a bit potent as it has 90% Cica in it. But if used moderately and with the Propolis mask it works amazing. Benefits: ✨Skin irritation tested. Uses EWG green grade ingredients. ✨Contains 90% of Centella Extract to soothe irritated skin for a healthy radiance. ✨Reinforces collapsing skin barrier with Ceramide NP to protect skin. ✨Fortifies skin moisture barrier to protect skin from the external aggressors. ✨Contains Adenosine to improves fine lines and Niacinamide for skin brightening. The watery consistency is very lightweight and gets absorbed quickly. Also, it feels quite cooling and Hydrating on skin. The Propolis 80 sleeping mask PureHeals - Propolis Sleeping Pack is another great product from their line. First off, it smells exactly like Manuka honey, and it's texture is nothing but honey. But it's a well formulated skincare product, doesn't feel sticky or heavy on skin. It glides on skin like gel and feels absolutely cooling and soothing. It has 80% Propolis extract which is rarely available in its pure form. It is usually obtained from beehives and contains bee products. Bees use propolis to build their hives. Propolis is used for diabetes, cold sores, and swelling (inflammation) and sores inside the mouth (oral mucositis). It has skin healing and anti-inflammatory properties for so many skin concerns. A broken or compromised barrier is another one. Think of it as a wound and the combination of Centella Asiatica and Propolis extract will increase the healing process as well as provide the necessary moisture and hydration to skin. I have Hormonal acne and whenever I get that broken, bleeding barrier, I use this combination overnight and it helps in healing my skin. Also, I use this mask on my dry patches and they tend to get softened. Benefits: ✨Contains 80% of Propolis Extract for skin moisturising and soothing. ✨Blends with 13 kinds of botanical oils for a honey-glowing skin finish. ✨Improves wrinkles with Adenosine and brightens skin with Niacinamide. Think of it as an amazing combination for sensitive skin. I truly enjoy these two in my routine.

Does 90% Centella Asiatica help?
Does 90% help??? The Answer is - Yes but it can be sensitizing as well. If not used properly it may irritate/ burn skin. 🌿Centella Asiatica (Cica) is very well known in the skincare community to be healing, calming and helping with irritation and inflammation. 🌿But what is Cica? Centella Asiatica is Asiatic/Indian Pennywort, is a herbaceous, perennial plant in the flowering plant family Apiaceae. It is native to the wetlands in Asia. It is used as a culinary vegetable and as a medicinal herb. The medicinal values and wound healing properties are known from ancient medicinal practices and values. The mention of this plant and it’s herbal and medicinal properties is found in Ayurveda (Ancient Indian Medicinal values) and Chinese Gotu Kola. The widespread clinical research speaks about it's quick wound healing properties and it is shown to increase collagen production and increased tensile strength in newly formed skin in the wounded areas. 🌿Now talking about how is it helpful for people with Acne? It works in similar fashion for compromised barrier with Acne, Sun damage and other skin concerns. It helps to heal the skin with rapid collagen production and elasticity. The Centella 90 Ampoule by @pureheals PureHeals - Centella 90 Ampoule has 90% Centella Asiatica ingredient and is relatively inexpensive for that concentration of the ingredient. 🌿Details of the product: ➡️Skin irritation tested. Uses EWG green grade ingredients. ➡️Contains 90% of Centella Extract to soothe irritated skin for a healthy radiance. ➡️Reinforces collapsing skin barrier with Ceramide NP to protect skin. ➡️Fortifies skin moisture barrier to protect skin from the external aggressors. ➡️Contains Adenosine to improves fine lines and Niacinamide for skin brightening. 🌿My experience and thoughts: ➡️Although Cica is known as anti inflammatory and antioxidant, for my Hormonal acne skin 90% Centella Asiatica is too harsh ➡️ The consistency is watery and absorbs quickly but I experienced slight burning on my face which was reactive to my skin and I was fine with it. As I'm sensitive I'm reactivate to few ingredients. This was one of them. ➡️ Did it help my inflammation and irritation? Yes. But at very mild level. Because of it's high concentration my skin was infact facing contact dermatitis so I started using very little amount and it helped. ➡️ I like @elemis Cica hydration juice ELEMIS - Superfood CICA Calm Hydration Juice better than @pureheals one. ➡️ I believe if anyone who has redness and active inflammation, they can use two- three drops and get the benefits of this. ➡️ Niacinamide and other ingredients are perfect in this formulation and they definitely help with hyperpigmentation. Do you like Centella? Which products do you like and helped you?? Let me know! ❤️

Exfoliating night time routine - combo skin
I wanted to share my exfoliating night time routine with you guys. I have been dealing with hormonal acne and was not able to do much exfoliation in the past 3 months as I have been using Retin A at nights and aczone in the mornings. My skin is getting back to normal so I started exfoliating again ! And I can’t say enough about how happy I’ve been with my skin lately. Soooo this is what i do twice a week and the next morning my skin feels soo smooth, brighter and hydrated. I clean my face with the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin this is a very gentle cleanser, doesn’t dry my skin like other foaming cleaners, it makes my skin feel so clean. I pad-dry my skin and let it dry completely before exfoliating. I then exfoliate using the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution this is my favorite chemical exfoliator. Every time I use it the next morning my skin looks brighter and smoother. Toner - #Be Plain - Chamomile ph balance toner[products]#[FiveStars] I’m really loving this Korean toner. This is a very gentle toner and helps to prep the skin to better absorb and retain moisture and nutrients. Ahhh my favorite stage - serums! Im currently using the cosmedica SKINCARE - Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum on damp skin and let soak in for about 30 seconds. This serum makes my face feel so plum and hydrated. This is more of a liquidity formula, not sticky at all and I am so loving this. Hyaluronic acid attracts hydration to the skin’s surface and helps the skin retain moisture, a must have. Then I go with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% let soak in for about 30 seconds as well. This is a very sticky and thick formula, makes my face feel sticky for a min but then it soaks in. In my opinion Niacinamine is a must have in everyone’s skincare routine. Helps with hyperpigmentation, regulates oil, can help with breakouts and many other things. Eye cream for my darkest night mares, I’m using the Perricone MD - Cold Plasma+ Eye I love the consistency, doesn’t irritate my eyes like other eye creams. I honestly can say that I have seen some improvements around my eye area! But the downside is the price. I moisturize with CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion super lightweight, and the best part are the ingredients. Can’t have enough Niacinamine or Hyaluronic acid, plus ceramides to help restore and maintain the skin’s natural barrier. More hydration, especially because winter is coming. PureHeals - Propolis Sleeping Pack I keep this in my mini fridge and feels so refreshing. It makes my skin feel so smooth and hydrated. I finish & lock everything with CeraVe - Healing Ointment I only apply this on my dry areas, avoiding my T zone as it tents to be very oily. Hope you guys find this helpful & Let me know what you think! 💕

New purchases 🍑🍙🍯
I’ve finally run out of most of the products I got 6ish months ago from yesstyle. After years of problematic skin, I decided to try out Korean et al., skincare. After seeing results in real time, there was no turning back. Here are the few, new products I ordered. So far, I am loving everything. The maelove serum, I reviewed it a couple weeks ago, and I have to say, with continuous use, I’m seeing a difference with my skin! I’m hoping that the above products will augment that difference. Let me know if any of these products interest you for a detailed review :) unfortunately the neogen sunscreen is not taggable. Honestly I got it on a whim, has anyone else used it? Hm, but since it’s a chemical sunscreen, and I am pretty prone to irritation, maybe I should opt for a mineral sunscreen? I’m not sure — there are so many differing info out there! Do you guys have any thoughts about this?

Hello hydration! A review of my moisturizers.
My skin type is dry, and I live in Southern California, where the air is often really dry. But, I think hydration is important, regardless of skin type. I try to emphasize hydration every day, and have used a few products that I thought I'd review. Let me know your thoughts! Day Time 111SKIN - Y Theorem Day Cream Light Nac Y2 My newest addition. Nice, medium-weight texture. Neutral smelll, feels hydrating. pūrlisse - Watermelon Aqua Balm Loved at first, before I had tried many other products. Has a nice watermelon smell. But the texture is definitely a little "balmy", and doesn't sink into your skin very quickly. it Cosmetics - Confidence in A Gel Lotion Weightless Moisturizer "Weightless" is definitely correct - The texture is super light and slight. Good for when you don't need anything too heavy, or if you don't have very dry skin. Day or Night AVEDA - Botanical kinetics hydrating lotion I've had a giant bottle of this for a while now. Great medium-weight, trusty moisturizer that I use when I run out of others or just want something that I know will work. Good for all skin types. Night Time LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream Heavier cream, almost lotion-like texture. Great for drier nights. dr botanicals - Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask Almost a lotion texture, but whipped up and aerated slightly. Nice smell and feeling. Label says to keep refrigerated for best results, use within 3 months, and use every few days. SUNDAY RILEY - Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream Not sure how I feel about this one. It looks like custard and smells like play-dough, but I've noticed that Sunday Riley products often have a bit of a smell, due to the ingredients and that SR doesn't use fragrance to cover it up (which is good!). I'm hesitant to use this cream all over my face, as its a bit thick and heavy. Instead, I use it more as an anti-wrinkle cream on my forehead. PureHeals - Ginseng Berry 80 Overnight Mask One of the only products I've repurchased. Great texture - almost gel-like, goes on easy but is still substantial and feels very hydrating. Smell is also great.

popular korean skincare products review
This past month I have been testing some korean skincare products that I was really excited to try these so below are my thoughts! 🤍💛🤍 LAGOM - Cellus Sun Gel SPF50+ I had been on the hunt for an spf I can wear under makeup and on top of my already thick moisturizer. I wanted something that was lightweight but not drying (I’m already married to my belif moisturizing bomb so I wanted something I can use in conjunction to that) and wouldn’t leave me a white cast. I have been using this for over two weeks. It doesn’t look like a gel when you squeeze it out the tube but it does apply very nicely on the skin and doesn’t feel heavy at all. I love this under makeup b/c it doesn’t start to pill nor does it do that on top of my moisturizer either. If you have oily skin you would love this and can definitely use this alone and replace it with your daytime moisturizer. However, I have dry combo skin and I once tested it out on its own and after awhile my skin needed a lot more hydration and had to apply my moisturizer. I’m not mad at this though b/c I wanted to use something in addition to my daily moisturizer. Also it doesn’t smell bad at all. Overall, it’s a great sunscreen and I will be repurchasing. However, it is a little pricey for a small bottle which you’re going to apply every day more than once. PureHeals - Propolis 90 Ampoule After trying out the PureHeals Propolis Softening Toner, I was eager to repurchase the full size and saw that they had a propolis ampoule and added it to my cart. I’ve been trying this out for over two weeks and have been incorporating it into my morning skincare routine. The product is meant to hydrate the skin and it does exactly that, therefore, I think it is a good product. However, I wouldn’t call it a holygrail or something absolutely necessary for my skin b/c I already have other hydrating products that have other benefits in conjunction to that. I don’t think I will be repurchasing b/c it isn’t something I need; however, I do like it and will continue using it until I finish the product. PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum Now, I know my rating of this product is really low but I have my reasons. I know a lot of people rave about this product so I was really excited to try it out! This is not a bad product. Nonetheless, it didn’t give me the results it said it would give me. I have been using this product for over three weeks and it hasn’t done anything for my skin. I was not expecting to get the glass skin that korean influencers have; however, the product says it minimizes pores giving the skin a poreless look. It did none of that. I struggle w/ enlarged pores that are really noticeable, therefore, I was disappointed with this product. I used it consistently day/night but now I use it only in my morning skincare routine b/c it gives me a glowy look. In the end I’ll probably repurchase the sample size simply b/c its a nice dewy primer.

Amazing Serum ✨
Amazing Serum ✨
For the last few months I’ve been obsessed with using serums after discovering them through BoxyCharm and IPSY.I received this one from BoxyCharm and love it! It takes little to no time for my skin to absorb it and makes my skin look brighter and feels smoother. It also makes my pores smaller. PureHeals - Centella 90 Ampoule

A gamechanger for my skin
A gamechanger for my skin
PureHeals - Propolis Softening Toner I received the PureHeals Propolis Softening Toner as an add-on in my ipsy april glam bag. I can say that I was NOT expecting the results that I got from this toner. I was never much of a toner kind of gal until I started using this one. I had mild textured skin that really bothered me, but once I started using this toner I noticed results within about 1-3 days of use. It has made my skin sooooo smooth and soft that I HAD to repurchase. It also hydrates my skin which I appreciate because my skin is on the drier side. I highly recommend it to anyone that is struggling with skin that has a rough feel to it!! The only downside is that because it is a korean skincare product, it’s difficult to get your hands on. Yesstyle is where I repurchased the full size version but because of covid it’s going to take awhile to get here. Aside from that I definitely think you should get your hands on this!

I decided to try this Centell
I decided to try this Centella/Green Tea Mask from pureheals. It has centella asiatica extract on the second place in the ingredient list so I had to try it since I love that ingredient. Is it good? I think so, I don't have much comparison as I haven't used many sheet masks for a while but my face felt nice after taking it off. It was calmed and moisturised and the sticky residue absorbed quickly. Then, I followed with the rest of my routine. The mask was so well soaked with the serum and it didn't dry out at all when I was wearing it. I must say I enjoyed it! 💚 Let's see how my face will look like in the morning 😄

Obsessed with this product!
Obsessed with this product!
I recently received this product in my BoxyCharm premium box for May. I had no experience prior using this brand or this product, I read the box and decided to give it a try since it said that it was for sensitive skin, and lately my skin has been very very irritated and itchy. I put it on and the next morning my skin looked amazing! All the little bumps and irritation that I had the day before were completely gone! If you’re hesitant about using this product, don’t be! It’s been about 2 weeks and my skin still looks amazing!
