Hello everybody who has hearted my posts to see my skin care journey (: This is what my skin has been looking like still using all of the same products! The only thing I’ve added is a jade roller just because it’s sooooo relaxing lol. I do have acne scars and rosacea, but I’ve noticed my rosacea is reduced when I treat my skin well. Now remember I’m also 9 months Preggo and haven’t been eating the best 😬 Guilty I know, but my skin is looking so much healthier and glowier! I don’t have perfect skin, but I do see a huge improvement from what I’ve dealt with in the past. First I still use the THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm balm to remove my makeup. Oats are very calming for your skin and reduce redness so I love the way this feels when I double cleanse. Next I rinse that off well and go in with my LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser This stuff hasn’t broken me out once and I have very sensitive skin so I definitely recommend just trying it out for yourself. After I cleanse my skin I go in with my PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator as a toner. (Only use at night) This stuff is strong, but I find using it only at night helps more because I’m not adding so much to my face. This has helped reduce my pores and also clear some mild breakouts and redness on my face. Next I go in with my amazing oil I got of amazon Cos De BAHA - Azelaic Acid 10% Serum with Niacinamide Acne Scar Removal + Redness Relief Face Now this stuff is AMAZING. I apply this with the dropper every morning and night and it is a miracle worker!! I would rate this more than 5 stars. It helps calm your skin and also helps with breakouts, hyperpigmentation and so much more. After this step I use my Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer The reason I give it three stars is because it’s just your average basic moisturizer to me.. it works, but I’m sure there’s better moisturizers out there. For the price though it’s worth it if you want something easy. Next step after is always sunscreen in the morning! Never at night for me and I use GARNIER - Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream SPF 30 I only have been using this since December so I won’t give it five stars yet, but this is a good 3-1 face serum with spf! One thing I like is it doesn’t leave a white cast on me. Things I don’t like is how it has a lot of fragrance and it also can burn my eyes sometimes. If anyone has a better spf to try let me know (: That’s all I do for the morning and night time and then of course use my jade roller to feel relaxed. I do use my THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream but I don’t see a difference on my under eyes. I’ll keep you all updated again soon ! ❤️

Let’s talk eye creams!
Eye creams are made to target concerns (dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, etc.) around the eye area, which is very sensitive. They are not necessary to a skincare routine but if you struggle with any of these issues, it can help. Here are some of my favorites (all under $30) and what they can help with. >$10 THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream (Brightens dark circles) $10-$20 REVOLUTION - Targeted Under Eye Serum 5% Caffeine (Brightens dark circles) PACIfICA - Vegan Collagen Recovery Eye Cream (Brightens dark circles, hydrates) Sweet CHEF - Turmeric + Vitamin C Booster Eye Cream (Brightens, hydrates) florence by mills - Look Alive Eye Balm (Brightens, reduces puffiness, hydrates) My personal fave :) $20-$30 NATURIUM - Retinol Complex Cream Retinol is best for severe fine lines but if you are going to use it, please make sure to keep your under eyes hydrated because it can be a little drying. HONEST - Honestly Bright Eyes Tinted Eye Cream (Hydrates while also covering dark circles)

Literal works of art 🎨✨
These are 3 products that I’m obsessing over this past month and that to me are (skincare) works of art!* 1.Aveeno - Restorative Skin Therapy Oat Repairing Cream This is hands down the best body lotion I’ve used. I usually apply this directly to my skin after stepping out of the shower and I’ve never seen a lotion be able to retain as much moisture in my skin before! I highly recommend it! 2. HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum I got this sample size of the Prism serum in a Herbivore set and I’ve been loving it! It’s a blend of AHAs and BHAs yet it still feels quite moisturizing and gentle that I can layer it with different exfoliants. I don’t love the price for the full size so if anyone has any opinions on dupes, comment below! 3. THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm This was a sleeper hit for me, I had to get used to its slightly grainy texture before I fell in love! I love how oily and yet creamy this products when I massage it into my skin and it effectively removes all of my makeup and sunscreen before my second cleanse. And at $10, you can’t beat it! *Renoir approved...probably...😜

Starting tretinoin and spironolactone
After 6 months of researching products and learning more about my skin and what works, I have finally found out the root cause of my acne. I feel like I’ve always had a good, consistent skincare routine. I’ve even made good lifestyle choices such as changing my pillow case every week, cutting out diary, limiting junk food, and drinking lots of water. However, I did not see any improvements with my skin. I mainly break out on my cheeks, chin, and jawline, especially when I’m on or about to start my period. I recently consulted a doctor for free thanks to my university’s student health services. She told me that this is hormonal for sure. I had been producing an excess of androgen hormones which lead to more oil production and eventually more acne. She prescribed me with spironolactone and tretinoin. I started taking these medications a few days ago. I think I’m in the purge period right now. I’m so glad I finally have closure on what has been causing my acne. I’ve never had serious acne problems in the past so this has been really frustrating. Current skincare routine: Morning: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 for Face with Zinc Oxide Night: íUNIK - Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin pura d'or - 100% Rosehip Seed Oil I also use the THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser every other night. If I need to subside a pimple, I would use Rael - Acne Healing Patch or the COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch I’ve been taking spironolactone every morning and applying my .025% tretinoin every other night. I’m giving my skin time to adjust to the tretinoin so I will start applying it nightly next week. For those who have taken spironolactone or tretinoin: how long did it take for you to see less breakouts? And can I still use my salicylic acid cleanser while on tretinoin?

I am a huge skincare lover and love to try out ingredients and brands. Check out my collection and my favourite brands and products. Favourite brands: Versed: this is a brand that I have tried many products and they have worked well for me. This is a drug store brand that is mid range. Skin Update
So, to see my unedited, filterless skin, swipe left! Coming on my 8th week of retinol. My skin purged, cleared & is now breaking out again. No inconsistencies within my application. Always Monday & Thursday nights 🤣 When I say breaking out, I mean I’m getting more than just my regular few sits and a pimple. I’m getting massive pimples that are the under-the-skin type. While I’m fine with the breakouts, my major concern is the last image, the hyperpigmentation and massive dark spot. This spot came from probably my worst breakout ever. It was huge. It hurt. And I could. Not. Stop. Picking. At. The damn thing. I have been using alpha arbutin & niacinamide regularly. It has definitely been decreasing the darkness of the spot, but I can’t seem to get rid of it. ALSO I GOT A SKINCARE ORGANIZER 😍😍😍😍 Stay tuned for that! December/January Empties!
I’ll start this off with my favourites: MISSHA - Missha All-around Safe Block Essence Sun Milk I’m so sad that I’ve run out of this. If you don’t like the feel of sunscreens that feel thick and heavy, pick this up! you won’t regret it! I also ran out of the Volition sunscreen that I paired along side this one, but recycled it before I took a picture. Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask (📍) Again, was so sad to run out of this, check out my post featuring this and the new hair mask I picked up for more info! THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum If I could give this 100 stars out of 10, I would. This is my favourite serum of all time and I always have two back ups in my collection! Now for my meh products: SUNDAY RILEY - CEO 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum I liked the way that this felt don’t get me wrong, but I think because of the shimmer effect it has, it may have been breaking me out a bit. This didn’t have enough in it to last me long enough to see any effects. Kate Somerville - DeliKate Recovery Cream this is unbelievable. Although I will never buy this at the $104 price point, it’s a beautiful, thick, heavy cream. Wonderful for winter skin. fresh - Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm, Watermelon I actually have the lime+mint scent, but this is also amazing. I’ve just began started applying all my lip balms on damp lips, and I’ve found it’s made the biggest difference. No more dry lips! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Sili™ Body Lotion (📍) If you’ve seen my marula oil post, you’ve seen that I don’t support Drunk Elephant anymore, this is one of my last products I have from them (that they sent me) and it was too light to be a body cream. I have really dry legs and this didn’t do the trick. I ended up keeping this on my desk as a hand lotion and it worked well! Now for my no good product: Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara (📍) I don’t understand that hype around this mascara. On me, it doesn’t make my lashes look longer or fuller, it flakes super easy and it doesn’t hold my curl. Happy to have finished this so I can move on. 📍= product was sent to me for free

Quick reviews on some serums in my collection! ✨Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence (PR) If you’re looking for a non sticky snail serum, this one is amazing!! It has a gel texture that deeply nourishes and soothes my skin. I noticed my skin looks really healthy when I use it. ✨Morning Drizzle Vita Toning Serum (PR) This is a nice addition to my routine since it’s so lightweight but hydrating! This gave my skin a nice glow and I noticed that my overall complexion was radiant and bright! ✨BE PLAIN Cicaful Ampoule (PR) I think this is more suitable for oily/acne prone skin types. This wasn’t enough hydration for my combo/dry skin but it was really gentle and helped soothe my skin. Love using then when my skin is really irritated to calm it down. ✨The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum I love anything hyaluronic acid so no surprise that I love this!! It instantly plumps my skin and makes it feel nourished. If I could change one thing about this it would be the packaging cause I find that too much comes out. Other than that, its a great affordable, hydrating serum. ✨make p:rem Idebenone Lifting Ampoule (PR) If you have dry skin this one is amazing!! It has a light cream texture that instantly relieves dryness and any irritation I on my skin. Along with the idebenone, it has ceramides and cholesterol which are amazing ingredients to repair the skin. One of my all time favourite products for winter.

Worth the hype? Best hyaluronic serum?
VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum It seems that everyone has been raving about this product and rightfully so. It is light weight and can easily incorporate into your day/ night skincare routine. This serum’s base is mineral rich volcanic water—89% to be exact, and contains “15 skin-loving minerals including iron, potassium, calcium, and manganese that work to moisturize skin, re-balance its pH, and protect against pollutants.” — Vichy Another bragging point, is that this product contains only 11 ingredients — clean, allergy tested, dermatologist tested , and Vegan. We all know what an amazing ingredient hyaluronic acid is for our skin—plumps and retain moisture. And this product does just that. It’s so simple and I would definitely recommend this for friends that have very sensitive skin. The only set back about this brand (in general) is that I’m not 100% sure of their cruelty free status. According to their site they do not test on animals but it seems that they currently sell/ market their products in China — which requires animal testing. Maybe this is old news? And if not, hopefully one day that’ll change. So I use it and love it with hesitation and I’m not sure if I would repurchase after I finish the bottle. Maybe I’ll change my mind- who knows. If that (cruelty-free status) is not a factor when you buy/ use cosmetics than go for it! It is $30 and it’s super accessible- available on Ulta*, CVS, Walgreens, Vichy.com, Skinstore.com. If you find yourself on a budget, get it at CVS. There’s always a sale and of course coupons. ** Ulta has them in 3 sizes. Here are some hyaluronic acid serums that are confirmed 🐰cruelty-free: THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Please share your favorites below. Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful

let’s talk neck care!
Neck and décolletage care! This type of skin care isn’t addressed as much, but it’s still an important step of skincare! I never really thought about it while I was addressing my face skin concerns, but I once read that it was good to bring your skincare products down to your neck, so I started doing that about 8 months ago. I think my neck lines are partly genetic, but they’re also due to how often I sit in bed staring at my phone, thus creating deeper lines on my neck. I wish I had a picture from 8 months ago, but my neck was pretty wrinkly, it had really deep horizontal neck lines that I couldn’t get rid of even if I stretched my neck. While I still have some horizontal lines on my neck, they’re certainly less visible than they were before. So what do I do exactly? I really don’t do much besides bring my toners, serums, sunscreen, and moisturizers down to my neck, and I massage it in in an upward direction. So with the product on my hands, I start to massage from the base of my neck up to my chin. I do this until I feel like the product has been absorbed. Massaging the product in an upward direction will help smooth the skin and prevent drooping. I certainly did not see results immediately. In fact, it took at least 6 months of doing this little massage every morning and night to see some change. I really just stuck to it and ended up doing it out of habit for many months, then one day I realized my neck looked much smoother than it was before. Here are some of the products I’ve been using on my neck (I usually use these on my face too): innisfree - Cica Toner with Bija Seed Oil innisfree - Green Tea Moisture-Balancing Toner CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum Kate Somerville - Liquid ExfoliKate Triple Acid Resurfacing Treatment FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil

Mature Skin Night Routine
So with al the products out there, I enjoy shaking it up and trying new things!!! I have begun a new routine!! DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil this is my start. It does an excellent job of removing al my makeup, without striping my mature skin of moisture. Murad - Renewing Cleansing Cream I use this as my second cleanse. I love the cream to foam feel. It too does an excellent job at keeping my skin hydrated. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I use this every other day! I rotate this with the next product. I have been using this for about a month and I am loving how my skin is responding. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion I use this alternating days of the “buffet”. This is a thicker consistency and I like it. This is so far a bonus to my routine. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is my favorite hyaluronic acid at the moment. I’m sure I will try others along the way, and love them too. This absorbs well and does not leave my skin tacky. e.l.f. - Superhydrate Moisturizer I layer this right after my hyaluronic acid, which pulls moisture to the skin. This gives my hyaluronic acid the extra boost. This is a gel texture. I keep mine in my skin fridge and it feels like heaven on my skin. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream this is my final step!!! I can’t live without this. This makes my skin so happy!! Mature skin peeps.... game changer! This keeps my skin full of hydration, gives my skin barrier exactly what it needs, and frankly since using this... my skin continues to look better and better! LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask - Mint Choco Chip I finish with this little gem! This comes in several varieties, this one is the one I was gifted. I’m glad I was. Gives my kid hydration all night. Hope my tips help! If you have any, I would love to hear them. Taking care of ur skin is a journey we all seek to perfect!!!

This is what I call FAKE ADVERTISING
This Retinol serum from The Inkley List seemed too good to be true from the start, but I wanted to give it a go anyways. *Note to Self: listen to your gut* So I’ve been using this retinol serum for about a month now, and my skin has NOT changed since, but actually got worse around my cheeks & mouth area. I decided to do more research, because I was losing hope. And I found out that this ingredient shown in my pics called “Retistar” is NOT Retinol at ALL! It’s basically a downgraded cheap version of imitation retinol mixed with oils like castor oil. So that 1% Retinol listed info is not the gold star Retinol found in actual Retinol products that actually perform a difference.. it’s castor oil & lies. As for the 0.5% Granactive Retinoid, yes this is an ingredient used in antiaging products so that even the most sensitive skin types can benefit from Retinol products. However, it’s only 0.5%. That’s literally nothing beneficial to your skin to make a CHANGE. As a conclusion, The Inkey List refuses to own up to their own slogan “Your Brightest Skin.” THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum

My skincare journey
The 1st 2 photos were from summer of 2020 & the 3rd photo was taken today. I’ve come such a long way with my skincare journey and I am honestly so proud of myself. The pandemic has been so tough for everyone especially on their mental health. I am usually very quiet about my mental health issues but I had to speak up about it and how it affected everything in my life. Staying cooped up at home every day took a toll on my mental health all together & it hit an all time low when I was sexually assaulted last yr in May. I let myself go and lost control of everything such as my sleep, skincare, diet & social life. It got to a point where I started losing clumps of my hair in the shower & I want everyone out there to know that it gets better. Im nowhere close to feeling my best but looking back, I’ve made such a huge difference. My skin got so bad to a point where I hated seeing people and applying makeup just made it worse and cakey. I researched a bunch of products & used everything on my face at the same time which caused my skin to react poorly and flare up. It was red & covered in pimples & whiteheads. At this point I believed that, okay I do not feel beautiful and compared myself to every other woman. Its so important to know that a few pimples or marks doesn’t make you any less beautiful. Everyone’s journey is so different and patience and time can fix it. I can explain and link the products I used, Retinol THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum So I initially used this every single night along with Niacinamide and oh man, I wish I hadn’t. I didn’t know that you were supposed to build tolerance to it. So I started using it once a week & then slowly switched to using it every other day. My skin actually started feeling a bit better. Niacinamide The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% So I read a couple of articles about WOC talking about how this product didn’t exactly suit their skin & once I started using it I noticed it never really made any difference to my skin & found it to sting a little. I still want to give it a chance so I use a tiny bit & I noticed there’s no stinging. So I might’ve been using too much for it to do that. Facial cleanser CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I switched from cetaphil to CeraVe and I am so happy that I did. Whats weird is this cleanser made me realize that I don’t have oily skin (I’m not sure how this happened but if anyone knows, please help me out here) Moisturizer LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream Okay so I know a lot of people might not be too happy with this product since it contains fragrance but after trying so many different types of moisturizers, this is the only one that really made a difference on my skin 🥺 I am not trying to get you to buy these products. These are just things that worked for me and it took a lot of time. Listen to your skin & do what works best for you. You are so so beautiful 💕

My favourite antioxidant
The inkey list is one of my favourite brands as they are super affordable meaning you can try out different ingredients to learn what works for your skin, also they are cruelty free!! An important addition in your routine is antioxidants as they protect your skin from pollution, screen damage and any free radicals. Prevention is definitely the strategy to take as treating an issue is a much longer and more expensive process. There are many different antioxidants out there so it is fun to try them out. My favourite two are vitamin c and q-10 which I like to alternate every morning. Texture: This is a yellow gel/cream texture that feels really soft on the skin. Price: This is a very affordable serum at $9 cad for 1oz Effectiveness: It’s hard to tell the effectiveness of antioxidants as their primary job is to prevent any damage (Vitamin c is the exception as it also has brightening properties). If you see an immediate result it is likely hydrators included in the formula. This serum is very soft when applied and it makes my skin feel so hydrated and soft after use. Pros 👍: super affordable cruelty free 🐰 protective layer that is super soft accessible at Sephora Cons 👎: simplistic packaging- wording sometimes wipes off I wish you could get a big size THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum I love using this product and having the confidence that my skin is protected.

Which BHA Product for Your Skin Type?
If you deal with acne-prone skin or enlarged pores, salicylic acid (BHA) is heaven-sent for most folks. Oil-soluble, it penetrates more effectively/deeply into the pore than water-soluble AHAs, touting hydrating, antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties in addition to exfoliating. But Which BHA Product Is Best for You? 👀 • PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator : $29.50 USD, $0.25 per mL. A cult classic, an international bestseller, a bottle of liquid gold. Water-thin, it contains a couple of humectants, an antioxidant, and 3 preservative/stabilizing ingredients. A super simple INCI list! This makes it especially friendly to many sensitive-skinned folks, as the list of possible skin triggers is small. Some people say the finish feels oily, but I find it intensely hydrating and it soaks in quickly, making it great for combo and dry skin alike! This simple liquid is my pick for enlarged pores and general skin congestion. • NATURIUM - BHA Liquid Exfoliant 2% : $20 USD, $0.17 per mL. Encapsulated salicylic acid and a variety of humectants make this a hydrating exfoliant “toner”, perfect for those with any skin type, with one exception- those with sensitive skin may have issue with the citrus extracts contained, though the producers of the extracts claim they contain mild AHA exfoliant properties. I’d recommend this to any skin type with non-sensitive skin looking for a budget SA product that leaves skin hydrated but not tacky, and helps to keep pores minimized and unclogged. Texture-picky folks on a budget will love this! • THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) Blemish + Blackhead Serum : $10.99 USD, $0.37 per mL. This is the best BHA for oily skin, featuring a super simple INCI list made up of humectants, stabilizers, salicylic acid, and zinc PCA. Salicylic acid helps to keep pores clear while zinc pca helps to reduce sebum production, though I personally react badly to zinc pca- bumps and itchiness, unfortunately. This product is still one I recommend to friends, as it’s affordable and has minimal chance of triggering skin allergies/sensitivities other than the zinc, with huge potential for those that struggle with acne in general.

The gift of good skin!
For Christmas, I made my sister a new skincare routine! She has combo acne prone skin with some sensitivity and redness, she also complained of some dark circles around her eyes. She currently uses terrible products and is pretty lazy when it comes to skincare so she doesn’t even wash her face everyday! I tried to design something simple, affordable, and easy to keep up with (e.g. mostly drug store products) but also an effective starting point for her skin needs! How did I do? AM: Cleanser: OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser Eyes: THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream Moisturizer: Aveeno - Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer PM: Makeup remover/lazy day cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Micellar Cleansing Water Ultra and Makeup Remover Cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanseror CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skindepending on what her skin is doing Eyes: THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream Moisturizer: CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion For dry days or dry patches: CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream Spot Treatments: ORIGINS - Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gelor PEACE OUT - Acne Healing Dots Masks: OLE HENRIKSEN - PHAT Glow Facial Maskand YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask

The Inkey List Ceramide Treatment
THE inkey LIST - Ceramide Hydrating Night Treatment I have to say, this was my first purchase from the Inkey List back in March and this product disappointed me. It's not hydrating enough for my dry skin! It is a lightweight, gel consistency that sinks in quickly. No fragrance which is awesome! However it also broke me out. I stopped using this on my face and am determined to use it on my hands. If you have combo/oily skin this is a great overnight mask for your skin! I will not be repurchasing this. It was 14 dollars.

Let's talk about THE inkey LIST - Kaolin Clay Mask Price definitely affordable $9.99 for this tube. Texture, was reay easy to apply very soft and glides on your skin like butter; I mean, check out that clip 👀 taking it off was pretty easy since I use the Face Halo ✌🏻 What it did for me? So far I've used it twice over this week, probably going to give it another week to see how it really progresses my skin but overall.. no irritation or purges. No strong scent (which is fab!) I will update you guys next week to fill you in if it's worth a shot. But pending thoughts as of the moment, peace!✌🏻

💫 brand review: the inkey list 1/2
💫 brand review: the inkey list 1/2
The Inkey List has some of the best products I have ever tried and they are extraordinarily underrated. And that goes for both high end and “affordable” products. I feel like they don’t get the hype they deserve. I’ve only tried a few products from them, and some have completely transformed my skin. Others have not been the best or made a huge difference, but they weren’t necessarily “bad”. Again, I can only speak to what I’ve tried, and I definitely need to try more. They have so many different products to target different skin concerns for every person and their website is fantastic in helping build a skincare recipe specifically for your concerns. The brand itself is also super engaging with their consumers, i have spoken to their social media reps a few times with regards to product recommendations on Instagram and they have always been super helpful! Here are the products I have tried and how they performed for me: **DISCLAIMER: my skin is normal/combo with an oily t-zone and a few breakouts here and there. I get a lot of blackheads on my nose and chin and a few little bumps on my cheeks that I have not figured out what exactly they are but they are incredibly stubborn and don’t have a head so they can’t be popped. If I were to try to pop them, they turn into a pimple, so I’m still not sure what exactly they are** THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid this is the ONLY thing I have noticed that made a difference in those bumps I mentioned earlier. I can’t express to you how long I have tried to get rid of these bumps, how much research I have done and how many products I have tried to no avail. Until I met the BHA serum from the Inkey List. After about a week or so, I noticed a dramatic difference in my skin. It is formulated with salicylic acid that is strong enough to make a difference in my skin but is still a gentle exfoliation that did not cause any sort of bad reaction. I absolutely love this stuff and I will not allow myself to be without it. THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum the niacinamide serum is my newest product to try and just, wow. I alternate nights between using the BHA and Niacinamide serum and I can’t begin to tell you what a game changer this has been. I have noticed the overall clarity, texture, and appearance of my skin to be so much. It feels so hydrating when applied and has the most silky texture that feels luxurious. My skin has never felt or looked better since using this in conjunction with this serum. THE inkey LIST - Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gentle Exfoliating Toner this toner is SO gentle on my skin but makes it feel so refreshed and revitalized. I use it every night after my cleanser and before one of the two above serums and it just really makes my skin feel like all the makeup, dirt, and buildup of the day is really being removed from my pores but without stripping my skin. It really makes my skin feel so soft and I would recommend to everyone
