KNC BEAUTY - Supa Balm Mint
My fav Lip balm
I have an obsession with lip balms for some reason. I came across this one and hands down this have to be one of my favorite lip balm for 2021. This product keeps my lips nice, smooth and help me avoid crusty lips from the winter. The scent smells like sweet candy mint and taste delicious. As you can tell from my picture my lips is glowing and plump. KNC BEAUTY - Supa Balm Mint
VITAMINS are a must!
I’ve been using vitamin C products for over 3 years and it’s become one of the most beneficial ingredients to incorporate into my routine. I use pure vitamin C oils or serums and have noticed such a big difference in my skins texture and brightness. These are my fav vitamin C products: OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Serum THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Serum 30ml OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer I started using retinol (vitamin A) about 1.5 years ago and I wish I started in my early 20s! I absolutely love retinol and how well it works for acne prone skin. My blemishes have been SO much more controlled now that I use retinol daily and my skin also looks so much smoother and more even. These are my fav retinol products: THE inkey LIST - Retinol Anti-Aging Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream KNC BEAUTY - All Natural Retinol Infused Eye Mask Niacinamide (vitamin B3) was the last vitamin I started incorporating into my routine and that was about 8 months ago. Niacinamide has quickly become my fav ingredient to use because of the fact that I saw results so quickly! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my skin ever since I started using Niacinamide. My blemishes are all gone, my skin looks smooth and clean, and my skin looks brighter. These are my fav Niacinamide products: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum FIRST AID BEAUTY - Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Eye Cream I’m always on the internet trying to find graphs and charts to help me better understand the products and ingredients I use.

Plump it, plump it, plump it up
Sephora: “A lip mask that will give you plump, hydrated lips without all the harsh chemicals” Knc : “Pucker up, because your lips are about to get a treat. Your KNC lip mask will give you those plump, hydrated, soft, smooth, moisturized, kissable lips you’ve always wanted. And it’ll do all that without the chemicals. Instead of using harsh chemicals, your KNC mask uses natural, moisturizing plant extracts to protect your tender lips from the world’s harsh elements, like Chicago winters or your boyfriend’s 3-day stubble. Petroleum-free and infused with plumping collagen and moisturizing rose flower oil, vitamin e, and bitter cherry extract, it’s all natural, all day! Basically, your KNC lip mask is about to be your new BFF.” performance | full star | I honestly can’t add much, because knc said it all. I will say, my small mouth bass lips don’t cover that much of the mask, so my upper lip & chin get a nice masking too lol texture | full star | best part is there’s not a ton of excess serum, but juuuust enough to where it doesn’t get all over the place. Does slide a little with facial movements (could just be my tiny lips though lmao) scent | .95 star | they don’t really have a scent, but a little? Idk glad there’s no added fragrance packaging | .85 star | knc branding is ON Point & these are such a bomb design! I mean how could it not be with @ running the show. Only a little doc because sometimes the suction is so tight, it can be a lil workout to get the mask out. ingredients | full star | no false claims here! An actual clean brand that’s not just trying to buy into the marketing hype 🙌🏼 value | full star | $4-5 per mask is not bad! Unless I’ve used a bunch of different lippies, or not stayed consistent re applying balm throughout the day, I only mask about 1-2 times per week. Total 5.8 out of 6 stars ✨
EYE LIFT! 🌟
KNC BEAUTY - Knc 5 Pack Eye Mask Boxed Set I got these adorable eye 👁 treatments in my giveaway bag from Cherie. I have used them twice now and am confident to give a good review!!!! Also so thankful to @Cherie for the freebies!!❤️❤️❤️ PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS! First off they are SUPER cute! Shaped like shooting stars that perfectly align with the shape of your under eye. It’s all natural! No Parabens, sulfates, artificial dyes or fragrances. Contain Collagen, Aloe , grape seed oil, licorice root extract, rose flower oil, retinol, gold...um what?! Yes GOLD!,also Hyaluronic Acid!!!! PURPOSE To give you fresh, hydrated, de-puffed eyes 👀 . MY EXPERIENCE ✨ Besides how cute I feel with these stars on my face, I do like these as a product. The first time I did have some stinging for most of it, but there was no redness or swelling once I took them off. I would definitely use extreme caution ⚠️ or avoid if you have very sensitive skin. You apply them to clean dry skin for about 10 minutes and can use them 2-3 times a week. I have done them once a week, my skin is slightly sensitive to this product so I did not want to over do it. Baby 👶🏻 steps! 😂 After first and second use I definitely feel like the skin on my under eyes is tighter. Which says a lot for these tired mommy eyes. The skin under your eyes is so thin to begin with. Aging, stress, and lack of sleep can cause lots of eye issues. I do believe that I will keep this treatment around and hopefully build up to more than once a week. I would recommend these to most any one but am cautious to push it on sensitive skin beauties. ❗️All skincare comes with a recommendation on how often to use it, but listen 👂 to your skin! You know what it can handle, taking time to build up to the recommended dosing is OKAY! 🤗🌟
SUPPORT BLACK BEAUTY BRANDS 💖
There are so many ways to support right now! Keep protesting, posting on social media, signing petitions, reading antiracist literature and engaging in critical thinking and dialogue. Another way is to support Black owned Businesses. Here are a few Black owned beauty brands I wanted to highlight. (There are hundreds that are so easy to research, I chose these 8 because I really connected with their story or products!) I chose to highlight either products I am in the process of purchasing, or their most “popular” product! 1. ROSEN SKINCARE - Break-Out 2.EPARA - Brightening Night Balm 3. hyper - Hyper Clear Brightening Clearing Vitamin C Serum 4. BLACK GIRL SUNSCREEN - Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30 5. Briogeo - Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Hair Volumizing Spray 6. UOMA BEAUTY - Double Take Contour Stick 7. Beauty Bakerie - Breakfast in Bed Eyeshadow Palette 8. KNC BEAUTY - Lip Scrub Set Also don’t let me finish this post without explicitly saying, BLACK LIVES MATTER. Let’s normalize supporting the success of Black people and businesses EVERYDAY, not just when the community is deeply hurting.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
