Soothe Your Skin
This Miracle Seed Essence by @primera.us is such a nice added bonus to my skincare routine. I get flaky dry and irritated patches along the sides of my face (more by my ears) and when I started using this essence for review... I saw a dramatic change in those dry patches. They were more hydrated and smooth and less flaky. A little goes a super long way especially with their cotton pads that come with it. Even though it’s on the pricey side, I would say that this product is well worth the price value because of the size of the bottle AND it comes with cotton pads!!! It would be awesome if it was at a different price value without the pads.... just to give comparison but for now it’s only sold with the pads. I’ve heard many people say that it was harsh on their sensitive skin - but I didn’t have any bad reactions at all. No redness.... no burning or irritation. I only use it a few times a week... especially on the super dry days!! primera - Miracle Seed Essence
Primera is coming to be one of my favorite skincare brands. Their products are simple yet luxurious, and I think they are so great for all skin types. Theprimera - Miracle Seed Essence is universal and no fuss. I used to be really confused what the differences were between essences, toners, serums, beauty waters, and all that good stuff. But now I really enjoy all the little skincare steps…it’s the little bit of extra care that makes the difference. I started off with the travel size of this essence and I loved it so much that it was time to upgrade to a bigger size. This essence is so refreshing and feels like a splash of fresh water. It’s thin and soothing and to be honest, my favorite step of my skincare routine. After I put on this essence, I feel like my skin is so clean and prepped for all the other products. And the COTTON PADS🤩. They come with each essence and are so plush and soft. I feel like they are really similar to the cult favorite Shiseido ones. I wish they would sell them separately because of how good they are! This one retails for $58 which I feel is really pricey, but not as crazy as something like the Tatcha essence. It is a bit of a jump to purchase this one, but I feel like it’s worth it in the long run. It’s important to have a solid base in your routine…it elevates the rest of your routine and ensures that the other products have maximum effectiveness! #CherieCreator

primera - Alpine Berry Water Cream I thought this water cream was okay. It didn’t do much for my skin other than provide moisture for my oily skin (also didn’t break me out though). Many people seem to enjoy this, specifically for drier skin types for some reason. The texture and feeling on the skin is great though; it quickly sinks into the skin and is not heavy at all. I love this brand and I’ve been wanting to try more of their products—this one was just not much for me. It smells nice though (be wary of fragrance!) SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 This is an oil-free fluid sunscreen that has antioxidants and sebum-absorbing powders to eliminate excess oil and reduce the appearance of pores and to defend against skin-damaging free radicals and pollution. I liked this feeling of this sunscreen on my skin; it doesn’t leave much of a white cast on my medium skin tone and the texture is very light. It has a nice matte finish too which I like! This uses physical and chemical filters (zinc oxide and other chemical filters) but I typically like using mineral or k-beauty sunscreens. This is kinda expensive though but a lot of people like this! I wouldn’t purchase it because of other great sunscreens on the market but I did like it. akar - Balance Toner This is deemed the “holy water” by Allure. It has salicylic acid from white willow bark and antioxidants from the saffron flower. This toner is great in providing hydration and exfoliating. I used this sample everyday until it was gone and my acne was calmed a lot! It’s not very harsh like other stronger exfoliating toners. It’s pretty expensive: $55 for 70ml. I got this in my allure beauty box and I probably won’t purchase it because of the cost. GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream This is a lightweight moisturizer cream that seals hydration without clogging pores. It worked great for my oily, acne-prone skin during the late inter. I thought this was pretty gentle despite the banana laffy taffy smell. I like other cheaper moisturizers with better ingredients that this one though. Other than that, no complaints. MARIO BADESCU - Ceramide Eye Gel This is an oil-free eye gel that de-puffs and rehydrates tired eyes. It has a blend of ceramides and lecithin to moisturize and diminish under-eye bags. This is recommended for combo/oily skin. Although I’m not fond of the Mario badescu brand, I liked using this and it visibly depuffed my under-eyes. I don’t struggle with under-eye bags a lot but during my finals week I had less sleep. This product really did wonders. I would purchase again if it weren’t for the brand’s reputation.

I would pass on this lip mask
The primera - Clean Berry Lip Mask left me pretty disappointed. It looks promising but the texture is gritty and was super off putting for me. Plus I felt like it got all over my teeth at night, and my lips were still dry in the morning. It wasn’t particularly moisturizing upon initial application either. However, I have been loving the ROSEN SKINCARE - Tropics Toner quite a bit! I feel like it’s been helping to even out my skin tone, but does leave a slight orangish residue when I go to cleanse my face at night if I use it in the morning. I don’t notice it on my skin though.

Plant Based Exfoliation 🌱
Exfoliation is one of my favorite steps in skincare so I was excited when Primera gifted me their Mild Facial Peeling Gel! What is exfoliation? In short, exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells from the surface of your skin - this can be achieved using several different methods (chemical, physical granular substance, or a skincare tool). Did you know that your skin naturally sheds to make room for new skin cells every 30 days or so? ❣️ This unique gel-textured formula effectively removes dry, dull surface cells without being abrasive or harsh on the skin. Removing the dry, dull surface skin cells leaves you with soft, renewed & hydrated skin! This product will help improve dark spots, pores, dryness & dullness / uneven texture. This is best suited for those with normal, dry, combination or oily skin types - as I always recommend; if you have sensitive skin, test on a small spot on your face first! ❣️ Primera takes pride in being a clean beauty Korean brand that focuses on developing formulas that are plant based, pure, potent, and planet friendly! Primera’s exfoliator formula is unique and innovative as it used plant based key ingredients to do the work: broccoli sprout extract to help clarify the skin & neem leaf extract to help with calming the skin. 💚 Available online on Primera’s website and at Sephora for $38! primera - Mild Facial Peeling Gel
WANT THE SMOOTHEST SKIN? TRY THIS PEELING GEL!!!
Peeling Gel: Application: This peeling gel has a gel texture, but I'm honestly weary of peeling gels. You basically rub the gel all over your face and then you start seeing things clump up on your face. It's basically the product balling up (not dead skin) and these clumps are the ones that will gently exfoliate your skin. It didn't irritate my skin. Impression: First of all, I really like this Peeling Gel. I usually get piles of dead skin cells all over my face whenever I wipe my toner all over my face with a cotton ball. However, after I used this gel, I noticed that I didn't get those anymore. My skin feels squeaky clean after using it, but it doesn't have that tight or dry feeling. It makes my skin feel supeeerrrr smooth. I haven't notice a big difference yet because I haven't use it for that long yet, but so far it's great! Lip Mask: Application: This lip mask doesn't feel sticky at all and it actually feels very thin, which makes it a little hard to remove from the tub. It also has a little bit of a cooling sensation, which I love. Impression: The lip mask is an okay for me, because I would apply it at night and my lips feel smooth and moisturize the next day, but it's not to the point where it feels plump, if you get what I'm saying. I wished it was just a little bit more moisturizing to the lips.

MOISTURIZER FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN
As you can see, I have A LOT of moisturizers/lotions/creams, and I have other I forgot to include. I haven't tried all of them yet, but here's how I pick out my moisturizers for my acne prone skin. 1. Go for gel moisturizers. •Gel moisturizers are super lightweight and gets absorb really fast. Typically, acne prone skin also have oily skin, so gel moisturizers are perfect! 2. Avoid moisturizers with coconut oil •Coconut Oil is really good for the skin, but it's not great for acne prone skin, because they may clogged our pores. The Primera Moisturizer is great, but it contains coconut oil so it's not suitable for acne prone skin. 3. Find moisturizers with soothing ingredients •I normally don't look for moisturizers with Salicylic Acid or acne fighting ingredients, because I already applied them through my other products, so I always want my moisturizer to soothe my skin instead. I always look for centella extract, niacinamide, aloe lead extract, of snail in my moisturizers. My ALL TIME FAVORITE MOISTURIZER so far is the Cosrx Advanced Snail Cream, because it helps with soothing my skin and fading my acne scars. *These are the rules I normally go by, but sometimes my skin feels dehydrated so I go for thicker creams. *Some are PR gifts and some I bought with my own money*
The Savior for Dry Skin
✨Love the Earth, Save the Wetlands limited-edition Alpine Berry Water Cream by PRIMERA BEAUTY. I have used this moisturizer in the past and love it very much. I was beyond thrilled to get my hands on them again. I knew my dry skin was craving for this cream when I used it for 1st time back in February. It provides the long-lasting hydration and nourishment to my dry skin. The texture does look thick but the cream is lightweight, absorbs quickly without that greasy feeling. Use it at night to wake up with supple, soft skin or day time to get that dewy finish by mixing it with foundation or solo use. It sits well under makeup too with caking any foundations or other makeups. Though it is targeted for the dry skin. In my opinion any skin type would love this cream in their routine as it not only moistures/ hydrates the thirsty skin but helps soothes dryness with Coconut-Derived Oil and supports the skin‘s moisture barrier with Artemisia Extract. From the brand: “Why Wetlands? Wetlands are among the most fertile, productive ecosystems in the world. Despite the importance of wetlands as Earth’s life habitat, two-thirds of them have disappeared worldwide since the 1990s. Not only are they home to wildlife and plants, but they also provide a range of ecosystem services that benefit humanity, including water filtration, storm protection, flood control, and recreation. Wetlands help combat climate change by absorbing more than 20% of the carbon existing on Earth’s land. Carbon is stored within their plant communities and soil instead of releasing it to the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. With this adorable Limited Edition release, Primera hopes to raise awareness about the vital of the ecosystem. Additionally, Primera has made a charitable to donation to The Conservation Fund.”✨ Product was gifted by the brand but opinion is mine 🤍

Primera GLOW YOUR SEED Kit
𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺🍓💦: I tend to go towards the dry side so any moisturizer that hydrates is it for me. This moisturizer literally mixes with anything and I started using it as a base for my skin care as my last step in the shower when my face is a bit moist (pro-tip: add moisturizer right after shower and let it sink in and continue your routine). I have sensitive skin and this formula did not break me out, turn red, had the ‘sticky’ feeling, or any negative side effects. The scent is not overpowering. It does contain fragrance so if that’s not your cup of tea, this isn’t for you. . 💥 . Clean Berry Lip Mask👄: This one was whatever to me. I’m not for lip masks in the first place and this one was pretty disappointing to me. For my lips, it was way too sticky and kind of felt a weird feeling when I put it on. I tried it until empty and just didn’t see any results that were like “oh my gosh!”. 😻. . ☀️ . Mild Facial Peeling Gel 🙌🏻: SO SO SO SO GOOD! I’ve tried a few peeling gels and this one takes the cake. It is super freaking gentle and as your ‘dead skin’ massages out, it does not clump or make your face sticky. When washing it all away, it takes merely seconds and my recommendation is cold water or at least leaning towards cold (in any skin care step). It did NOT give me any negative side effects and since the formulation is so mild, my sensitive skin was saying, “hell yes gurl”. There is fragrance so if it’s not your cup of tea, this isn’t for you. . ✌🏻 . Miracle Seed Essence☔️: This product is by far the best of the four. This is an essence, which comes AFTER toner. The kit does include cotton pads so you can saturate it with the essence and press on the face. I LOVE that it isn’t watery and I definitely noticed my face being more plump a minute after using it and more so as I used it throughout. My sensitive skin loved this. This product is NOT fragranced

Primera Wild Seed Firming Serum - Antiaging
This product is marketed as a serum that helps boost the appearance of firmness and elasticity, while combating the early signs of aging. It also helps support skins natural moisture barrier. It targets the following skincare concerns: loss of firmness and elasticity, dryness, and dullness and uneven texture. It is in serum form and recommended for all skin types. The texture is slightly tacky upon application, but once it is massaged in and absorbed, there is no sticky feeling left behind In my honest opinion, this is a serum that I highly enjoy. I have been using it for 3 months around 3 times a week, but can be used daily. I decided to try it because I wanted a thicker formula for a serum since my skin is pretty dry. I wanted a serum that was thick and hydrating, yet had the benefits of anti aging and helping the skin barrier. I like this serum because it is hydrating enough in the winter, yet not overbearing in the summer. Whenever I use too many acids and my skin is feeling sensitive and irritated, this is the serum that I go for to strengthen my skin barrier. It has never broken my skin out and feels comfortable on the skin. I would definitely recommend this product to others because it does that it claims. It has a neutral scent that I don’t see bothering people. Even if someone with oily skin uses this, this absorbs so fast that it won’t leave your skin heavy or greasy. The product is worth it. Although the price is high ($74), it brings 50mL worth of product. Plus, it is good to invest in a good serum to help your skin in the long run. My product rating is 5/5 stars.
A shout out to some products that have been constant in my routine (either everyday or every few days) @paulaschoice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant - this is one of the products that I didn't know I needed in my life until I started using it. Not only has it made my skin texture much better BUT it has prevented breakouts. I breakout every month during that time of the month but last month I didn't .. coincidence? I think not @purito_official Fermented Complex 94 Boosting Essence - love the idea of using an essence to help my other products penetrate my skin very well. Personally I started using essence since HS and I don't think you need to spend a shit ton of money on an essence, but if you do there's nothing wrong with that. I use 2-3 layers of this at a time and love how it sinks right in. It's lightweight and hydrating. @primera.official* Wild Seed Firming Serum - I use this serum on days that I want to take a break from my active serums and when I feel that my skin barrier has been compromised. The texture is very unique, gooey yet not sticky. It definitely feels luxurious and leaves me with a nice glow. I haven't seen any physical effects yet but will keep you posted.
Cold Brew in my Serum?🤩
My initial thought when I saw this serum was “Oh my gosh a COFFEE serum”. I quickly realized the brand had a different cold brew in mind 😂, but it was all ok once I tried it. I recently started incorporating theprimera - Black Seed Cold-Brew Serum into my skincare routine. After applying the first pump to the back of my hand, I knew that this serum would be great for all skin types and even more a dream for dry and sensitive skin gals. The serum is clear and very fluid. The texture is watery and most similar to an essence but ever so slightly thicker. I use it both in the morning and night now because of how lightweight it is. The serum sinks into the skin almost immediately and doesn’t leave behind any tackiness. Even though it’s super light, I do feel like my skin is amply moisturized and hydrated. Sometimes I’ll go in with a second round of serum if I want another boost of hydration. Another plus is that this serum’s great when layering with other products (toner, eye cream, etc). It blends in seamlessly and doesn’t seem to have any funky reactions with my other products. I don’t notice any miracles when it comes to how smooth or soft my skin is, but I noticed that my pores had a blurred effect, which is one of the highlights mentioned on the front of the bottle. I’m all about a skincare product that goes the extra step and takes place of a makeup product! This serum is such a good simple yet powerful product to have in your regimen. It’s the type of product I trust to use on any skin day, even if it’s one where I have tons of breakouts and sensitivity. It’s gentle and helps strengthen the skin barrier. However, I hesitate a little when it comes to the price point. I do think there are other serums on the market that have similar soothing and calming effects. It’s hard to say definitively as each person is different, but I’d say if you are interested in this launch, give it a go! #CherieCreator
Sleeping Masks aren't so bad after all
UPDATE: Primera Alpine Berry Water Sleeping Mask 💦 Made sure to not to edit/filter it for you all to see how the sleeping mask works on me! So this is how my face looked like as soon as I woke up (didn't cleanse just yet so I can take a raw photo of this product doing its charm) I've been having some dry patches around my face lately so I decided to throw this on lastnight. Outcome? woke up to my skin feeling suuuper healthy and plumped, skin feels super smooth, lastly my dry patches are nowhere to be found!! 🥴 You can find this at Sephora or the primera website 💌primera - Alpine Berry Water Sleeping Mask

So far, texture once applied is reaaaally good glides pretty well, feels really lightweight and non sticky, and it smells like berries! 🤤 i'll let you guys know the update on this moisturizer/sleeping mask after a few uses just so I can fill you in! 💌
Super Hydrating/ Nourishing Moisturizer 💙
This product reminds me so much of the Tatcha Water Cream. It's ultra hydrating, and feels super nourishing on the skin. It has a rich silky consistency, but without being too heavy. I apply just a dime sized amount both morning & evening, and my skin stays well hydrated throughout the day. I definitely think this product is worth the investment, and it's a pretty decent sized jar so depending on how much you use it would probably last you quite a while. Also, if your like me and have a thing for pretty packaging, that's another added bonus with this product. It looks so gorgeous sitting on your bathroom counter or vanity. The blue & white glass jar has an aesthetic that just calls to me. I love products like this that are beautiful both on the inside and out.

Over hyped. Underwhelmed. Not worth it 👎🏻
I’ve been a huge Laneige lip sleeping mask fan for a few years now but I always wondered if there was something out there that was more hydrating. I may have oily skin but my lips get super dry and with wearing a mask daily it makes the problem a lot worse. I watch Skincare by Hyram a lot on YouTube and he swore this mask was so much better than the Laneige at actually hydrating the lips. For $20 you get 17 g of product in a small plastic jar (compared to the Laneige which is $20 for 20g). Primera says this balm-to-gloss formula conditions the lips with seaberry, rice bran wax, and murumuru butter. When they say rice bran wax they definitely mean wax. This formula is so waxy. I tried my best to capture it in the video but it’s a very soft, waxy texture. The hugest turn off to this product is when you smack your lips together you really feel how grainy it is. I will say I do really like the appearance of the gloss formula it leaves on the lips. It looks really pretty, but that being said it’s not worth the waxy grainy feel. (Or the $20 for that matter). It does add a bit of moisture to the lips but no more than my Laneige lip mask. It has no scent or taste from what I can tell which I don’t mind. Like this just left me super disappointed because I’ve seen people hype this up so much. It’s not an awful product but it’s just not the most comfortable on the lips. /this product was gifted by the brand primera - Clean Berry Lip Mask
primera-Clean Berry Lip Mask
Primera their Clean Berry Lip Mask. I’ve been wearing it at night & it’s improved the overall softness of my lips. My lips were also a bit chapped & this helped heal them. 👍🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You can wear this as a balm but I prefer it as an overnight mask since the texture is a bit thick. It’s thick enough that it’s still on my lips when I wake up in the morning. 👏🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s not as hydrating as I was expecting but I really do appreciate how much smoother my lips are feeling. I also like that a little of this mask goes a long way. 💋 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It retails for $20 & is a good choice if you’re lips need some TLC. I like this product a lot though I do wish it was more hydrating. 💯 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Love The Earth
🌍 Love the Earth, Ride a Cowboy #primerapuregiftedme https://www.octoly.com/c/hbwv1/r/hb7fv 🌍 @primera.us Love The Earth Alpine Berry Water Cream is part of Primera’s Love The Earth Collection which features really adorable packaging (swipe to see some screenshots from the Primera site..I just, I can’t...they’re adorable) and supports The Conservation Fund in an effort to protect U.S. Wetlands. 🌍 As some of you may know, I have a Bachelors Degree in Earth Science, I spent many of my college years doing an internship on a small sustainable for and worked for the Department of Agriculture after graduating. I have a deep love and appreciation for the Earth and I believe we should all do our best to be nice to it. The Wetlands especially are a very delicate ecosystem that are often plowed over in favor of building more crap so I really love this collection. 🌍 This is the same formula as the original Alpine Berry Water Cream and comes in limited edition sizing (3.3 oz for $66 vs the original 1.6 oz for $40). I’ve done an in depth review on the Alpine Berry Water Cream before but it’s a lightweight water cream moisturizer (although I say more of a gel cream texture as it is a little richer than other water creams I’ve tried. For me this one takes a little bit to sink into the skin but once it does it’s not heavy at all and my skin is soft and glowy. This product contains moisture binding and antioxidant rich Alpine Berry Complex and soothing Artemisia Extract. Last time I tried this moisturizer I was not a fan but I was also taking hair growth supplements that completely screwed up my skin and now that I’m off of them I really like this!

I have a few things I noticed. 🌸 No new pimples! Sometimes I’d see like little white bumps that’s about to mature but thanks to this jumiso toner they seem to go away and I do feel mild stinging but it’s the good kind. 🌸I still love my primera miracle seed essence - I hate how I’m almost halfway through because it’s expensive but I use it so much. 🌸I have replaced my vit c serum with liveskincare’s and I really like this one too! I noticed my PIH fading and it definitely contributes to my glow. It also absorbs fast but can feel a bit tacky. 🌸Adding a sunscreen or a cream will get rid of the tackiness so if I feel a bit extra I’d apply a cream just like this jumiso Have a Good Cream because its texture is just so good for humid weather. 🌸kravebeauty Beet the Sun - what can I say.. the hype is real. I love how I can go out with just this sunscreen, no concealer or any base makeup and for some reason my skin looks hella nice. Was it just me??? Maybe. But I am loving this beet-ch!!
