Silky moisturizer for glowy skin
This is the iconic primera - Alpine Berry Water Cream . I’ve been wanting to try this ever since I saw Liah Yoo raving about it in one of her YouTube videos. This contains an abundance of skin nourishing ingredients in the formula such as glycerin, squalane, urea, cocoa seed butter, mugwort leaf water, blackberry fruit extract, vitamin e, and strawberry leaf extract. Because it was labeled as a water cream, I assumed it would have a transformative texture similar to that of the tatcha water cream where it turns into a watery consistency as you apply it onto the skin. Instead, this has a silky smooth cream texture that feels rather rich and emollient. It absorbs fairly quick leaving you with a moist skin finish that looks beautifully dewy and glowy without any stickiness. I have oily skin so I found this to be a bit to heavy for daytime use on my skin which is why I opted to use it mainly as a nighttime moisturizer. It works fantastically as the last step in my evening routine to seal everything in while still offering a ton of hydration and moisture. You can expect soft and supple skin the next morning when you wake up. It also soothed my skin by reducing any redness it had. This does contain added fragrance which gives it a floral like scent. I’m not to keen on the fragrance but it wasn’t to strong to where I couldn’t tolerate it. This is targeted towards drier skin types but I think almost anyone can utilize this moisturizer. Overall, this was a winner for me. I had such a positive experience, and it didn’t irritate or break me out. It’s a bit pricy at 40$ for 1.6oz but I can definitely see myself repurchasing this in the future. After trying their moisturizer, I’m looking forward to trying more of Primera’s products especially their miracle essence.
primera - Alpine Berry Water Cream I thought this water cream was okay. It didn’t do much for my skin other than provide moisture for my oily skin (also didn’t break me out though). Many people seem to enjoy this, specifically for drier skin types for some reason. The texture and feeling on the skin is great though; it quickly sinks into the skin and is not heavy at all. I love this brand and I’ve been wanting to try more of their products—this one was just not much for me. It smells nice though (be wary of fragrance!) SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 This is an oil-free fluid sunscreen that has antioxidants and sebum-absorbing powders to eliminate excess oil and reduce the appearance of pores and to defend against skin-damaging free radicals and pollution. I liked this feeling of this sunscreen on my skin; it doesn’t leave much of a white cast on my medium skin tone and the texture is very light. It has a nice matte finish too which I like! This uses physical and chemical filters (zinc oxide and other chemical filters) but I typically like using mineral or k-beauty sunscreens. This is kinda expensive though but a lot of people like this! I wouldn’t purchase it because of other great sunscreens on the market but I did like it. akar - Balance Toner This is deemed the “holy water” by Allure. It has salicylic acid from white willow bark and antioxidants from the saffron flower. This toner is great in providing hydration and exfoliating. I used this sample everyday until it was gone and my acne was calmed a lot! It’s not very harsh like other stronger exfoliating toners. It’s pretty expensive: $55 for 70ml. I got this in my allure beauty box and I probably won’t purchase it because of the cost. GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream This is a lightweight moisturizer cream that seals hydration without clogging pores. It worked great for my oily, acne-prone skin during the late inter. I thought this was pretty gentle despite the banana laffy taffy smell. I like other cheaper moisturizers with better ingredients that this one though. Other than that, no complaints. MARIO BADESCU - Ceramide Eye Gel This is an oil-free eye gel that de-puffs and rehydrates tired eyes. It has a blend of ceramides and lecithin to moisturize and diminish under-eye bags. This is recommended for combo/oily skin. Although I’m not fond of the Mario badescu brand, I liked using this and it visibly depuffed my under-eyes. I don’t struggle with under-eye bags a lot but during my finals week I had less sleep. This product really did wonders. I would purchase again if it weren’t for the brand’s reputation.

Soothe Your Skin
This Miracle Seed Essence by @primera.us is such a nice added bonus to my skincare routine. I get flaky dry and irritated patches along the sides of my face (more by my ears) and when I started using this essence for review... I saw a dramatic change in those dry patches. They were more hydrated and smooth and less flaky. A little goes a super long way especially with their cotton pads that come with it. Even though it’s on the pricey side, I would say that this product is well worth the price value because of the size of the bottle AND it comes with cotton pads!!! It would be awesome if it was at a different price value without the pads.... just to give comparison but for now it’s only sold with the pads. I’ve heard many people say that it was harsh on their sensitive skin - but I didn’t have any bad reactions at all. No redness.... no burning or irritation. I only use it a few times a week... especially on the super dry days!! primera - Miracle Seed Essence
Primera is coming to be one of my favorite skincare brands. Their products are simple yet luxurious, and I think they are so great for all skin types. Theprimera - Miracle Seed Essence is universal and no fuss. I used to be really confused what the differences were between essences, toners, serums, beauty waters, and all that good stuff. But now I really enjoy all the little skincare steps…it’s the little bit of extra care that makes the difference. I started off with the travel size of this essence and I loved it so much that it was time to upgrade to a bigger size. This essence is so refreshing and feels like a splash of fresh water. It’s thin and soothing and to be honest, my favorite step of my skincare routine. After I put on this essence, I feel like my skin is so clean and prepped for all the other products. And the COTTON PADS🤩. They come with each essence and are so plush and soft. I feel like they are really similar to the cult favorite Shiseido ones. I wish they would sell them separately because of how good they are! This one retails for $58 which I feel is really pricey, but not as crazy as something like the Tatcha essence. It is a bit of a jump to purchase this one, but I feel like it’s worth it in the long run. It’s important to have a solid base in your routine…it elevates the rest of your routine and ensures that the other products have maximum effectiveness! #CherieCreator

BEST LIP MASK ON THE MARKET
This is a lip mask that I was gifted by the brand and I was super excited because I love primer as a brand. This lip mask has a very thick consistency and it doesn’t evaporate from your lips. I love using this overnight as well as in the day time because of how hydrating it is on my lips. I used to love the laneige lip mask but later when I started doing more research I saw that the ingredients weren’t really that great and I love that ingredients in this lip mask are amazing!! Also @primera.us research and development behind every single product is so clean & extremely effective on this skin. They also have really good environmental & marine-life initiatives. (Their packaging is eco-friendly). Have you tried primera? What are your thoughts about their products/brand? primera - Clean Berry Lip Mask #cheriecreator #cheriepartner
I would pass on this lip mask
The primera - Clean Berry Lip Mask left me pretty disappointed. It looks promising but the texture is gritty and was super off putting for me. Plus I felt like it got all over my teeth at night, and my lips were still dry in the morning. It wasn’t particularly moisturizing upon initial application either. However, I have been loving the ROSEN SKINCARE - Tropics Toner quite a bit! I feel like it’s been helping to even out my skin tone, but does leave a slight orangish residue when I go to cleanse my face at night if I use it in the morning. I don’t notice it on my skin though.

Plant Based Exfoliation 🌱
Exfoliation is one of my favorite steps in skincare so I was excited when Primera gifted me their Mild Facial Peeling Gel! What is exfoliation? In short, exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells from the surface of your skin - this can be achieved using several different methods (chemical, physical granular substance, or a skincare tool). Did you know that your skin naturally sheds to make room for new skin cells every 30 days or so? ❣️ This unique gel-textured formula effectively removes dry, dull surface cells without being abrasive or harsh on the skin. Removing the dry, dull surface skin cells leaves you with soft, renewed & hydrated skin! This product will help improve dark spots, pores, dryness & dullness / uneven texture. This is best suited for those with normal, dry, combination or oily skin types - as I always recommend; if you have sensitive skin, test on a small spot on your face first! ❣️ Primera takes pride in being a clean beauty Korean brand that focuses on developing formulas that are plant based, pure, potent, and planet friendly! Primera’s exfoliator formula is unique and innovative as it used plant based key ingredients to do the work: broccoli sprout extract to help clarify the skin & neem leaf extract to help with calming the skin. 💚 Available online on Primera’s website and at Sephora for $38! primera - Mild Facial Peeling Gel
Primera Mild Facial Peeling Gel
primera - Mild Facial Peeling Gel I‘ve only had this for about a month and I like it a lot as a gentle exfoliator, but since my skin has some texture I feel like I need something stronger most of the time. I could use this one every second day, because it’s very gentle but I didn’t see any improvement on my texture. The product is thick but easily spreads and pills once you work it into the skin. It’s really just the product you see and not your skin peeling off. My skin feels soft afterwards and it’s really gentle which could be great for dry or sensitive skin. My skin is sensitive, but needs some exfoliation to take care of imperfections. I like this for something in between stronger exfoliations but it wouldn’t be enough in my routine. I‘ll reach for it more if my skin gets more sensitive again. Would recommend but it’s not perfect for my textures skin!

My favorite serums for every need!
Ones for skin texture. Ones for firming/hydration. Ones for discoloration. I have acne combo skin! One of my biggest difficulties is acne and the marks that they leave behind! NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% is for skin texture and controlling oil/sebum, and pore reducing. It also can have some moisturizing benefits so I like to use when I use my rerun-A. The texture is gel-like and it isn’t sticky at all. It’s pretty smooth and creamy. I like using this as an active, right after my toner. primera - Wild Seed Firming Serum is new to me but so far I love it so much! It is creamy and almost milky but it goes on the skin so well and gives a really pretty glow to the skin. It has a ton of skin loving ingredients and is packed with nutrients. I use this as an extra hydration step and I also put it under my eyes to help with fine lines. It is supposed to help with firming the skin and boosting elasticity. GOOD MOLECULES - Discoloration Correcting Serum is a holy grail already! It’s a newer product to the brand but this stuff works SO good. It is tranexamic acid (cetyl tranexamate mesylate) and 4% niacinamide, this lightweight serum improves the appearance of age spots, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. I mainly use this at night and if my skin is irritated I will use it as a spot treatment on my hyperpigmentation spots. #cheriepartner
My Nighttime Essentials
#AD #CheriePartner #CherieCreator A hydrating serum, firming serum, retinol and rich moisturizing night cream must haves. These have become staples in my routine and i haven't been able to out them down. Clarins hydra essential serum- hydrating, non sticky and sinks in beautifully. Love applying this serum to add a boost of hydration. Origins plantscription retinol moisturizer- I use retinol every other night in my routine, helps with fine lines, dark spots and uneven texture. the consistency is rich and creamy and its non irritating. big plus for me since I sometimes have sensitive skin. Primera wild seed firming serum- great serum that helps combat early signs of aging such as wrinkles, dullness and loss of firmness. love how lightweight it is and how it makes my skin feel afterwards. Sulwhasoo concentrated ginseng renewing cream- a luxurious antiaging rich cream that feels amazing. Such a treat to use, definetly a splurge but oh so good! Fresh lotus youth preserve dream face mask- a very moisturizing cream that leaves my skin feeling and looking healthy and glowy in the morning. good one for sure! Give Me The Cream
My #skincaresunday has to go to Primera and their Alpine Berry Water Cream. I really have been enjoying this cream. It really reminds me of the Belif Aqua Bomb gel with how it’s super hydrating and absorbs quickly into the skin. 💦 Light Weight 💦 Hydrating 💦 Buttery Texture 💦 Moisturizing I feel like the scent is really subtle and doesn’t bother me. I feel as though this cream would work best for dry and combination skin. It might be a bit too moisturizing for oily skin types (especially during summer time) but I truly feel like it would be a fabulous cream for all skin types during the cold winter. primera - Love the Earth Alpine Berry Water Cream
Primera’s Earth Day Water Cream
#primerapuregiftedme their LE Earth Day Alpine Berry Water Cream and it is the first product I have tried from the brand. I had heard good things about this product (and the brand in general) and it is a really nice water cream. Great if you’re going for a dewy finish and/or looking for a moisturizer that can double as a primer. It seems to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. I will note, however, that I’ve noticed it burns a little for me on dry patches. Right now the skin on my nose is a bit raw from allergies and this cream seems to irritate that area on application. It’s definitely fragranced so that might be the problem, I’m not sure. I’d recommend trying a sample first if you have sensitive skin!primera - Love the Earth Alpine Berry Water Cream
My Recent empties for my Acne Prone Skin🤩
I wrote previous on my page about how I have struggled with hormonal acne breakouts since the birth of my two children. It’s been an on-going battle for the past 9 years to fix and save my skin. I feel like I have found some great products over the past 3 months and I wanted to share with you some of my recent #emties!!!! 🤩 MAELOVE - Glow Maker MaeLove is a Indy brand that I became obsessed with a few moths ago after watching YouTuber Liah Yoo (shout out💁🏻♀️) review them. Glow maker is by far my favorite Vitamin C serum. I use this in the morning after my toner and it brightens my skin and absorbs quickly with out leaving that sticky feel *that I hate *🙅🏻♀️ which a lot of other vitamin C’s that I have tried in the past leave behind. The price point is not bad either and the shipping is eco conscious and plastic free which I love. 💕 MAELOVE - NIA 10 Calming Serum Ahhhhh, this hurts my heart so bad because I love most of MaeLove’s products, but this has to be my least favorite out of the brand. I didn’t see much benefit from this product and have found other niacinamides that I like much better.. like Paula’s Choice clinical and naturium. Also, just because it didn’t work for my skin doesn’t mean that it won’t work for yours. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Adapalene Gel .01% Topical Retinoid Acne Treatment AGAINNNNN, La Roche Posay hits it out of the park for me. This retinoid treatment, which you use to need a prescription for, helped to heal my stubborn acne bumps and blackheads. It’s also at a pretty reasonable price point and you can pick it up at certain drugstores. It’s a gel consistency and I use it as a spot treatment on my breakouts. I will DEFINITELY be repurchasing this. primera - Black Seed Cold-Brew Serum I highly recommend this product as well. It goes on smooth and absorbs right in to the skin. I usually use this at night.. because I try to minimize the amount of serums I use in the morning. The reason I gave it 4 instead of five stars is because the price point. I found another serum I’m testing out right now that is slight cheaper that I will posting about soon. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Ultra Night Cream for Sensitive Skin This has to be my favorite product out of the bunch! The creamy consistency goes on my skin effortlessly. I put this on last after my Serums and I wake up to baby smooth skin. I don’t know what it is about this brand but just about every product I have purchased from them works really well with my dry acne prone skin.
Cold Brew in my Serum?🤩
My initial thought when I saw this serum was “Oh my gosh a COFFEE serum”. I quickly realized the brand had a different cold brew in mind 😂, but it was all ok once I tried it. I recently started incorporating theprimera - Black Seed Cold-Brew Serum into my skincare routine. After applying the first pump to the back of my hand, I knew that this serum would be great for all skin types and even more a dream for dry and sensitive skin gals. The serum is clear and very fluid. The texture is watery and most similar to an essence but ever so slightly thicker. I use it both in the morning and night now because of how lightweight it is. The serum sinks into the skin almost immediately and doesn’t leave behind any tackiness. Even though it’s super light, I do feel like my skin is amply moisturized and hydrated. Sometimes I’ll go in with a second round of serum if I want another boost of hydration. Another plus is that this serum’s great when layering with other products (toner, eye cream, etc). It blends in seamlessly and doesn’t seem to have any funky reactions with my other products. I don’t notice any miracles when it comes to how smooth or soft my skin is, but I noticed that my pores had a blurred effect, which is one of the highlights mentioned on the front of the bottle. I’m all about a skincare product that goes the extra step and takes place of a makeup product! This serum is such a good simple yet powerful product to have in your regimen. It’s the type of product I trust to use on any skin day, even if it’s one where I have tons of breakouts and sensitivity. It’s gentle and helps strengthen the skin barrier. However, I hesitate a little when it comes to the price point. I do think there are other serums on the market that have similar soothing and calming effects. It’s hard to say definitively as each person is different, but I’d say if you are interested in this launch, give it a go! #CherieCreator

This set is perfect if you’ve been meaning to try Primera. It’s a nice introduction. My favorite from the set is the Alpine Berry Water Cream. Its so hydrating!
Primera GLOW YOUR SEED Kit
𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺🍓💦: I tend to go towards the dry side so any moisturizer that hydrates is it for me. This moisturizer literally mixes with anything and I started using it as a base for my skin care as my last step in the shower when my face is a bit moist (pro-tip: add moisturizer right after shower and let it sink in and continue your routine). I have sensitive skin and this formula did not break me out, turn red, had the ‘sticky’ feeling, or any negative side effects. The scent is not overpowering. It does contain fragrance so if that’s not your cup of tea, this isn’t for you. . 💥 . Clean Berry Lip Mask👄: This one was whatever to me. I’m not for lip masks in the first place and this one was pretty disappointing to me. For my lips, it was way too sticky and kind of felt a weird feeling when I put it on. I tried it until empty and just didn’t see any results that were like “oh my gosh!”. 😻. . ☀️ . Mild Facial Peeling Gel 🙌🏻: SO SO SO SO GOOD! I’ve tried a few peeling gels and this one takes the cake. It is super freaking gentle and as your ‘dead skin’ massages out, it does not clump or make your face sticky. When washing it all away, it takes merely seconds and my recommendation is cold water or at least leaning towards cold (in any skin care step). It did NOT give me any negative side effects and since the formulation is so mild, my sensitive skin was saying, “hell yes gurl”. There is fragrance so if it’s not your cup of tea, this isn’t for you. . ✌🏻 . Miracle Seed Essence☔️: This product is by far the best of the four. This is an essence, which comes AFTER toner. The kit does include cotton pads so you can saturate it with the essence and press on the face. I LOVE that it isn’t watery and I definitely noticed my face being more plump a minute after using it and more so as I used it throughout. My sensitive skin loved this. This product is NOT fragranced
primera - Love the Earth Alpine Berry Water Oil-Free Gel 💙 Details: • A delicately-dewy cream that sinks in instantly while providing lasting hydration and nourishment. • Good for: Dryness Dullness/Uneven Texture • Skin type best for: Dry . 💙 What more you need to know: • This skin-softening cream formulated with a proprietary Alpine Berry Complex™ absorbs quickly, offering lasting moisture and nourishment without feeling the least bit greasy. • A potent blend of wild strawberry sprouts with natural moisturizing factors known to survive in the harsh Alpine region and antioxidant-rich blackberries, delivers intense hydration and radiance, while helping protect skin against environmental factors. . . 💙 I am really enjoying this gel cream. It's very Lightweight while being hydrating. The gel texture allows for a cooling effects while sinking into your skin smoothly. I was a little concern that it wouldn't give my skin what it needs because I'm more oily, but the helped keep my oil to a minimum. The scent is amazing and the packaging is so pretty. This is definitely a product that I will continue to use. . . Have you tried this product yet?
Anytime, Everywhere, Anywhere kinda Moisturizer!
Since this brand launched in US I was super excited to try out their water cream. This baby has these key ingredients: 1) Water- Stay Technology that locks in moisture, quenches dry skin all when maintaining a fresh lightweight feel. 2) Artemisia Extract which strengthens the moisture barrier of the skin. 3) Coconut derived oil which soothes dryness. . . My experience - I used a generous scoop and applied it all over my face and neck at night. Generally when I wake up in the morning I instantly wash my face and apply a moisturizer however, the days I used this cream my skin did not feel dehydrated or dry in the morning and I could actually see my skin supple and plump in the morning. I would highly recommend this cream for winters as it is a bit on the thicker side. I will keep using it since I seriously love how nourishing it feels. Plus the packaging is recyclable as well which is always a plus ♻️♻️ . . Note it has coconut derived oils. My skin does not react to coconut but I know a lot of people are allergic to coconut in their skincare. Price: $40 for 50ml (1.6 oz)

Over hyped. Underwhelmed. Not worth it 👎🏻
I’ve been a huge Laneige lip sleeping mask fan for a few years now but I always wondered if there was something out there that was more hydrating. I may have oily skin but my lips get super dry and with wearing a mask daily it makes the problem a lot worse. I watch Skincare by Hyram a lot on YouTube and he swore this mask was so much better than the Laneige at actually hydrating the lips. For $20 you get 17 g of product in a small plastic jar (compared to the Laneige which is $20 for 20g). Primera says this balm-to-gloss formula conditions the lips with seaberry, rice bran wax, and murumuru butter. When they say rice bran wax they definitely mean wax. This formula is so waxy. I tried my best to capture it in the video but it’s a very soft, waxy texture. The hugest turn off to this product is when you smack your lips together you really feel how grainy it is. I will say I do really like the appearance of the gloss formula it leaves on the lips. It looks really pretty, but that being said it’s not worth the waxy grainy feel. (Or the $20 for that matter). It does add a bit of moisture to the lips but no more than my Laneige lip mask. It has no scent or taste from what I can tell which I don’t mind. Like this just left me super disappointed because I’ve seen people hype this up so much. It’s not an awful product but it’s just not the most comfortable on the lips. /this product was gifted by the brand primera - Clean Berry Lip Mask
primera-Clean Berry Lip Mask
Primera their Clean Berry Lip Mask. I’ve been wearing it at night & it’s improved the overall softness of my lips. My lips were also a bit chapped & this helped heal them. 👍🏾 You can wear this as a balm but I prefer it as an overnight mask since the texture is a bit thick. It’s thick enough that it’s still on my lips when I wake up in the morning. 👏🏾 It’s not as hydrating as I was expecting but I really do appreciate how much smoother my lips are feeling. I also like that a little of this mask goes a long way. 💋 It retails for $20 & is a good choice if you’re lips need some TLC. I like this product a lot though I do wish it was more hydrating. 💯

I have a few things I noticed. 🌸 No new pimples! Sometimes I’d see like little white bumps that’s about to mature but thanks to this jumiso toner they seem to go away and I do feel mild stinging but it’s the good kind. 🌸I still love my primera miracle seed essence - I hate how I’m almost halfway through because it’s expensive but I use it so much. 🌸I have replaced my vit c serum with liveskincare’s and I really like this one too! I noticed my PIH fading and it definitely contributes to my glow. It also absorbs fast but can feel a bit tacky. 🌸Adding a sunscreen or a cream will get rid of the tackiness so if I feel a bit extra I’d apply a cream just like this jumiso Have a Good Cream because its texture is just so good for humid weather. 🌸kravebeauty Beet the Sun - what can I say.. the hype is real. I love how I can go out with just this sunscreen, no concealer or any base makeup and for some reason my skin looks hella nice. Was it just me??? Maybe. But I am loving this beet-ch!!

Love The Earth
🌍 Love the Earth, Ride a Cowboy #primerapuregiftedme https://www.octoly.com/c/hbwv1/r/hb7fv 🌍 @primera.us Love The Earth Alpine Berry Water Cream is part of Primera’s Love The Earth Collection which features really adorable packaging (swipe to see some screenshots from the Primera site..I just, I can’t...they’re adorable) and supports The Conservation Fund in an effort to protect U.S. Wetlands. 🌍 As some of you may know, I have a Bachelors Degree in Earth Science, I spent many of my college years doing an internship on a small sustainable for and worked for the Department of Agriculture after graduating. I have a deep love and appreciation for the Earth and I believe we should all do our best to be nice to it. The Wetlands especially are a very delicate ecosystem that are often plowed over in favor of building more crap so I really love this collection. 🌍 This is the same formula as the original Alpine Berry Water Cream and comes in limited edition sizing (3.3 oz for $66 vs the original 1.6 oz for $40). I’ve done an in depth review on the Alpine Berry Water Cream before but it’s a lightweight water cream moisturizer (although I say more of a gel cream texture as it is a little richer than other water creams I’ve tried. For me this one takes a little bit to sink into the skin but once it does it’s not heavy at all and my skin is soft and glowy. This product contains moisture binding and antioxidant rich Alpine Berry Complex and soothing Artemisia Extract. Last time I tried this moisturizer I was not a fan but I was also taking hair growth supplements that completely screwed up my skin and now that I’m off of them I really like this!
