I have been really into Kbeauty lately! There are so many great Korean Skincare brands it’s kind of crazy! 🔻 Have any of you heard of Medicube? They have everything from skincare to makeup! A while ago I got several of their products to test out and I am going to point out my top three favorites, which are pictured in all three of these photos! 🔺 🔴Medicube Red Serum. 🔴Medicube Red Concealer SPF30 PA++ 🔴Medicube Red Capsule Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ The Red Cushion is suitable for all skin types including sensitive. The ivory base contains centella asiatica to soothe skin, while the pink base contains calamine to protect skin. 🔺 I really like this! It is great coverage and it leaves my skin a nice dewy finish without making me oily. It completely evens out my skin tone and covers any trace of redness I may have going on. The compact container is super convenient and easy for travel. The only drawback about this product is that it’s only available in two shades, both of which are super light! 🔻 The Red Concealer is also suitable for all skin types. It is formulated with squalene to moisturize and revitalize skin, and centella asiatica lefa extract to prevent skin from dehydration. 🔺 This concealer is very full coverage and will last all day! I have actually been having a hard time removing it! It’s definitely good for hiding imperfections (my big thing is dark circles)! Like the cushion, it’s only available in two fair shades so if you’re pale you might really love these! 🔻 The Serum is great for acne-prone skin. It controls sebum production for clean and healthy skin and regulates your skin's oil and moisture balance. It is formulated with beta-glucan, glycerin, betaine and butylene glycol to prevent skin dryness. 🔺 I have found that I love the smell of this serum! It pairs great with the red cushion and gives me a nice level of moisture without over doing it! I have also found that it’s been keeping any breakouts under control! I will definitely be repurchasing! 🔻

Medicube - Blue Erasing Cream
Here’s the first product I got to try from the brand called Medicube! 💙⁣ The 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 claims to soothe and calm irritated skin by strengthening skin barrier . ⁣ 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:⁣ ⁣ 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘏𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘈𝘤𝘪𝘥 - composed of high, mid, low molecules and Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate to moisturize internal and external skin with lasting hydration. ⁣ ⁣ 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘈𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢 - help reduce inflammation, promote healing and improve hydration. ⁣ ⁣ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬: ⁣ - Very lightweight. Feels more gel-like which doesn’t feel heavy on skin. ⁣ - Absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling soft. ⁣ - Calms down small pimples overnight⁣ - Reduces my face’s redness up to 75%⁣ - Can also be a good daytime moisturizer as it doesn’t leave a white cast and works well under makeup - Doesn’t feel like it’s clogging the pores unlike other creams ⁣ - Did not break me out⁣ - Comes in a tube packaging to so it’s hygienic and easy to carry around⁣ ⁣ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬: ⁣ - obviously, the price. Extra concentrated cica ampoule for PIH
⭐️ 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 ⭐️⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Medicube, Super Cica Ampoule ($37, brand website, launching soon) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ———————⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⇛Beauty (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): This gorgeous ampoule contains 61.5% cica (four types of cica), and other targeted ingredients specifically made to help repair dry, inflamed, and irritated skin and activate cell turnover. My skin has been breaking out (one very stubborn medicube - Super Cica Ampoule cystic zit, and some clogged pores around it). I switched to a minimal skincare routine, but added this to the area where my skin has been irritated for the last week. After cleansing, I applied this, and the rest of my routine. And, it’s been really helping! While not wholly healed, this has drastically decreased the pain, redness, and sensitivity compared to when I wasn’t using this with my minimal routine. The next day, the area is finally starting to flatten and heal. A couple days later, I noticed a huge difference in PIH, it was much lighter than it typically is (I scar very easily). Applied all over, it’s quite moisturizing and calming, and has no fragrance that I could smell. It layers well under other products, and sinks into the skin without being greasy or sticky. It mixes in with moisturizer too, and you can soak a cotton pad and use this as a spot treatment mask (trying tonight). I love the applicator, it is convenient and high quality. This is being released in the US market soon, and if you have irritated or acne prone skin, this is worth looking into. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ———————⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⇛Business (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, cruelty-free status unknown): Medicube makes the Red line designed for acne prone skin. It also has a collagen line for older skin or skin needing extra moisture (fragranced and not my favorite). This new line seems to be centered around Cica (centella asiatica), and I’m really excited to see what they do next! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My Acne Journey (Long Story)
My Acne Journey (Long Story)
Hi there! My name is Chelle, and like I’m sure many of you have dealt with, I have been in a battle with acne since I was a teenager. It’s been the bane of my existence and a constant thwart to my self-confidence. About 4 years ago, I started using Curology - Curology formula which, at first, worked absolute wonders! They prescribed to me a formula with azelaic acid, and for about 3 years, I felt like I had conquered and controlled my acne issues. Of course, I still had the scars and enlarged pores, but no new breakouts or cysts. I was incredibly satisfied and for once in my life, I had gained some the self-confidence that I never had growing up. I even enjoyed not having to wear as much makeup. However, a couple months before my wedding last year, I started noticing some acne beginning to consistently form in my chin area. I at first attributed to pre-wedding stress (which honestly didn’t make much sense because I actually didn’t do all my wedding planning). But even after the wedding, the breakouts continued to worsen. I reached out to Curology and they switched my prescription to the more aggressive tretinoin. It helped to control it somewhat, but unlike before, new breakouts would surface every week. So with that being said, I’m going back to square one with my acne journey. I’ll using Cherie as a journal to document my successes and failures as I try to, again, get the zits under control. I happily welcome recommendations and feedback! I am by no means a skin or beauty expert, but my hope is that my journey will somewhat encourage another individual that they’re not alone in this battle! Here are the list of products that I am currently using. I’ll do reviews of them as I go! AM Routine: Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser medicube - Zero Pore Pads #Beautycounter - Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream[products]#[FiveStars] Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer PM Routine Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser Curology - Curology formula God bless! Non Comedogenic Concealer💛✨

medicube - Red Concealer This Red Concealer from Medicube is one of the best Acne-friendly makeup products. They are made for sensitive & acne prone skin. I like that it doesn’t block pore and it is in sanitary tube. It has such a good coverage and I use it every time I do my makeup. It is Non comedogenic so it’s acne friendly! I have combination acne prone skin and I have hard time finding concealer that doesn’t cause another blemishes. This concealer never caused breakouts or made me itch (allergic reaction)! This is my Holy grail concealer💕 Texture is pretty thick and it covers all redness! I highly recommend this concealer to acne prone skin.

Lovely Toner with Tea Tree Oil
Lovely Toner with Tea Tree Oil
I’ve been hearing about medicube for a long time! I heard so many good reviews I was so excited to try this toner. Medicube Red line is especially made for acne prone skin like mine which means it excludes irritant ingredients. This toner is made to balance sebum production, hydrate & lightly exfoliate with salicylic acid. Key ingredients include ovalicin & tea tree oil. I received this item only about a week ago so I didn’t have enough time to try fully so here’s the first impression. It feels very soothing on my skin. It also has good hydration power for toner. It’s a good addition to my dry time routine. I didn’t experience any redness or sensitivity to the product. So far so Good! medicube - Red Toner
