💰MY LA MER HAUL: Splurge or Save?
Work so hard every night and day just to spend on a ton of La Mer goodies. Here’s my Christmas La Mer haul. It is expensive for sure but is it worth it? It’s been debated since like land before time. Does expensive really mean it’s better? Below, I provide some more alternatives for the same effect. LA MER - Moisturizing Cream The original moisturizing cream is thick. When you buy one of these, you must practice the La Mer ritual. Warm the pea sized cream in your hands and between your fingers then press onto your skin to apply. Since this cream is thick it feels like it stays on all day but I still couldn’t get over the thickness of it. After finishing the jar, I changed to the moisturizing soft cream. LA MER - The Moisturizing Soft Cream The moisturizing soft cream is lighter and has a weightless feel to it. It’s ready to apply without warming it with your hands or fingers and directly press onto your skin. I love the texture of this moisturizer because of how soft it is but it’s not that moisturizing to the point where I’d rebuy. In fact, I threw mine away and opted for TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream LA MER - The Powder I bought this finishing powder and pre-pandemic, I tried this on at the store and it looked super smooth. As always, I try to strive for a poreless look and it really felt like it gave that but it’s $95! I bought it anyway 🤦‍♀️ You could spend less for the same effect but I did feel bougie putting it on. I now use KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Lock-It Setting Powder Just use a powder brush and dust all over. I wouldn’t rebuy this at all. LA MER - The Body Crème I don’t love it. It’s a body cream that works and I’ve rebought this thinking it’s doing wonders for my body’s skin until I tried whipped argan oil like I can’t believe that shit ain’t butter and WOW. The La Mer Body Crème for $285 vs $36 JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Illuminizing Body Butter Save your $$$ money cash. I’ll be writing a review for the rest of the items soon! Standby or follow for Part 2 of my LA MER haul and thanks for reading. 😍

😰 I officially broke up with TATCHA
One of my skin concerns is closed comedones so I’m always on the look out for products that avoid contributing to that. The entire Tatcha skincare line is non-comedogenic which is a great plus! I bought the mini sample ofTATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream from Sephora just to try it out. Price point for the bigger container was a bit pricey but not as pricey as my LA MER - The Moisturizing Soft Cream and worth every penny in terms of results. I absolutely am in love with the feeling of this cream. It gives you that natural dewy and glowing look to your skin. I also have combination skin and experience patchy dry areas. Super irritating because it doesn’t set the tone for a nice canvas for foundation. When applying Tatcha dewy skin cream it is instantly flawless. 😍😍 Needless to say I’ll be purchasing the bigger container very soon. ⚠️‼️UPDATE 9/10/20‼️⚠️: This product has been replaced by The history of Whoo - Gongjinhyang Intensive Nutritive Cream who knew there was more softness to be achieved?! Read my post about The History of Whoo to find out why I made the switch and you should too.

Fresh Black Tea Essence Is Better Than La Mer?😯😯
fresh - Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essencecomes in a beautiful matte bottle, but I find its perfume-like scent unpleasant, even though the official website states it's natural. It smells exactly like the Fresh Black Tea Mask. It has a runny consistency and a more lightweight texture compared with LA MER - The Treatment Lotion, but thicker than other toners. It has a texture similar to that of a serum. Directions: I'll use a cotton pad to wipe it over my skin, then pat some onto my skin directly until it's fully absorbed. It's absorbed quite easily but still slower compared with La Mer The Treatment Lotion. It does a great job at hydrating skin. Currently, I'm using only using this essence and the lotus face cream in the morning, and I'll use La Mer treatment lotion plus the lotus night cream at night. With combination-dry skin, I find this combination moisturizing enough. The morning combo leaves my skin feeling a bit tightened but not dry. I use quite a lot of this essence due to its runny consistency, around twice the amount of the La Mer treatment lotion which is really durable. I've used only one fifth of the treatment lotion in two months.

🌞My summer skincare routine for dry skin is...
1.LA MER - The Treatment Lotion The Treatment Lotion is, if you are familiar with this sort of thing, a lotion aka essence aka “toner” in traditional parlance. It is a product that you use after cleansing and before your serums and moisturiser, and serves the purpose of hydrating and preparing your skin for the skincare that follows. The key function is that of hydration and also to “recharge” your skin and you know me. Words like “hydrating” and “recharge” really get me going 😀 The Treatment Lotion has a rather interesting gel-liquid texture. It is a rather thick liquid but runny, so I can’t call it a gel either. It is very viscous and spreads very easily on the skin. According to the instructions and to the SA at the counter who briefed me on this, you can do one of two things. You can either:- * Saturate a cotton pad and then wipe it over your skin or * Put a few drops in the palm of your hand and apply it to your skin I opt for the latter method – why waste this precious liquid on a cotton pad when I don’t have to? I usually drop about 3 drops of lotion into my palm, spread it out between my palms and then apply it to my face and neck. It spreads very easily and absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky residue. 2. GUERLAIN - Abeille Royale Youth Watery Anti-Aging Oil According to Guerlain, the Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil is a revolutionary formula that combines the power of a serum, the richness of an oil and the freshness of a lotion. Replenishing micro-drops of oil are released at the very last minute to leave your complexion looking radiant. Your skin appears instantly smoother, plumper and revitalized. It offers skin all the power of Guerlain-exclusive ingredients Ouessant black bee honey, highly concentrated in this balm, and royal jelly, which work together to combat visible and future signs of aging. The Ouessant Honey offers essential ingredients to revitalize the skin. It also contains Guerlain Exclusive Royal Jelly. This Royal Jelly is rich in exceptional nutrients and is a natural source of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and vitamins. It is produced in a protected environment and offers exceptional benefits for the skin. At first impression, I found the fragrance a bit off-putting. Don’t get me wrong; it smells beautiful! The scent was created by famous perfumer Thierry Wasser, and described as “sunshine nectar with notes of honey, fresh and airy fragrances.” I want to put it all over my body! But initially, I felt that I probably shouldn’t be putting something that smells this good on my face. I got over that quickly. I’m not sensitive to fragrance, and I do believe in the power scent. I feel if a product smells amazing it just makes the experience more enjoyable. However, if you are sensitive to fragrance, you will not enjoy this face oil. The oil is not watery as the name describes, it feels rather rich to me which I don’t mind. Guerlain recommends that you press the oil into the skin and massage upwards. There’s a tutorial you can watch if you’re interested. I do the massage in the evening, but not in the mornings when I’m in a hurry. I don’t use oil every day: it’s expensive, and I don’t feel I need it every day. After I use it my skin feels a little tacky; but not uncomfortable or greasy. Immediately my skin feels supple and soft. It also works well under makeup, and I have mixed it with foundation and liked the results.  3. sisley - Ecological Compound The compound is essentially a very light fluid moisturiser and it contains among others Ginseng to revitalise the skin, Rosemary and Hops to stimulate, Horsetail to re-mineralise and tone, and Centella Asiatica to regenerate and revitalise the skin. Unfortunately the Compound doesn’t contain any SPF, which would have been ideal. However, I suspect that SPF is often what makes my skin break out, so on the other hand I actually don’t mind. Whenever I need it I can just use another SPF on top. It also means that it is suitable for use as a night cream, although personally I prefer to use it just as a day cream and use a thicker cream at night! Again, the Compound is a very light moisturiser, and hence it absorbs instantly into the skin, leaving it feels incredibly thoroughly moisturised and so soft and smooth and with a matte feeling and a nice glowing sheen. It leaves absolutely no greasiness or stickiness behind. It is absolutely perfect for my combination skin, and works brilliantly under makeup. Often intense moisturisers make my skin feel congested and make it break out, but I am very pleased to say that hasn’t been the case with the Ecological Compound for the month or so that I’ve been using it. On the contrary, I actually feel that my skin is not only thoroughly nourished, it actually also seems to have normalised, so that it feels less greasy. And overall my skin simply feels and looks healthy and radiant!

Dupe for Lamer! $45 VS $300 The BEST Deal You Can't Miss!
Two years ago, my face has stayed in allergy for a half year because I used the wrong facial device. I tried so hard to find a suitable repairing product to repair my damaged skin. With the carelessness of money and time, I have tried Lamer crème moisturizer LA MER - Moisturizing Cream and other expensive repairing products. None of them really worked on my face, especially the cream of Lamer, it contains dormant oil which made my allergy even worse. Finally, the cream of Forty Fathoms#Forty Fathoms - Skin Regenerator Renewal Cream[products]#[FiveStars] saved me! It is regarded as a dupe for Lamer cream, it contains the essence of seaweed found in Tasmania. As we all know, the cream of lamer is famous for the essence of seaweed because it is found strong repairing function. The only ingredient difference between these two creams is Forty Fathoms cream doesn’t contain dormant oil. It sounds perfect for me! So, I gave it a go. After having used it for 3 months, my skin got repaired and became even more healthy, smoother, and balanced. More surprisingly, cream from Lamer sold in $242 didn’t save my skin, Forty Fathoms did and it is only sold at $46. I decide to use it forever! It excels all the cream products in my mind! Sorry for discarding the container of lamer crema, I can only compare these two with my memory. The packaging of these two products all use the paper box, but the box for lamer cream is much bigger and thicker than that of Forty Fathoms. The container for Lamer is made of glass, it’s quite heavy if it is taken for traveling, but the container of Forty Fathoms is made of plastic, which makes it easy to carry. Just by looking at the packaging, Lamer’s packaging looks more high-end, Forty Fathoms’ packaging is easy to carry. I do recommend the cream of Forty Fathoms, it’s much cheaper and it repairs skin rapidly. If you have extra money and don’t be allergic to dormant oil, you can give Lamer a try!

💰$500? 💰$6? WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?🧐
I have a very special skin type. It likes to be oily in summer, but in dry autumn and winter, the cheeks on both sides will be very easy to peel. At this time, I really need a product to reduce dryness and relieve the symptoms of discomfort, but at the same time, the product should not be too greasy. Crème de la Mer LA MER - Moisturizing Cream$500/100ML This product is the most well-known main product of the LA MER brand. This rich facial cream immerses skin in deep soothing moisture, which helps to cure dryness. Skin feels soft-to-the-touch, supple, and smooth. Lines and wrinkles become obviously soft. This product is extremely effective for skin, especially dry or damaged skin. Infused with cell-renewing Miracle Broth, this cream can make our skin soaked in moisture throughout the day without feeling dry and tight. Its use method is also quite special. Heat the cream between your fingers for a few seconds until it becomes translucent, then press it gently into your skin. NIVEA Crème NIVEA - Crème Tin$6/382G This kind of cream is considered by many people as a substitute for LAMER. For only $6, you can have a large jar of cream that can never be used up. The price is really exciting! So, can such a cheap product really achieve the effect of LAMER? First of all, in terms of ingredients, the most effective product of this product is Provitamin B The rich cream formula deeply moisturizes, nourishes, and protects the skin from rough and dry feeling, making skin soft and smooth. But personally, this product is far worse than LAMER cream. In terms of ingredients, it is more suitable for hands and body use because of its thicker texture. Secondly, after putting on the face, its absorption speed is far less than that of Lamer's cream, which is very unfriendly to me who loves oil. Finally, the effect of this product is very insignificant, with only a basic moisturizing effect and no soothing protection at all. Therefore, it can be called the Dupe Alert of Lamer, but if you have enough budget, I suggest you buy the previous product.

The most luxurious skincare routine
SK-II Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil SK-II is a brand that I’ve seen so many times on Instagram, especially on Eleanor Pendleton’s page as she is obsessed with its essence. I tried the essence but my skin didn’t like it so I stopped using it.  Then I came across another product so simple and luxurious that I wanted to take my cleansing routine to new heights. I let myself treat myself a little and splurged on a cleanser and boy, was I so happy I did!  This ultra effective yet gentle product takes off all streaks of makeup on my face, even the most waterproof eyeliner I own. I have a sensitive dry combination skin so I need products that will be extra gentle on my face. It takes my cleansing ritual a step further as this product feels so soft on my skin. It also makes my skin soft and smooth after every cleanse. Definitely a must try if you think cleansing is as important as hydrating your skin.  SK-II - Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil La Mer Crème de la Mer Moisturizer We all live once so buy the moisturizer right? It’s my mantra, and I just always think that I save my face from premature aging and on trips to the dermatologist if I maintain a good skincare regimen.  La Mer is one of those brands that are ultra luxurious and comes with a very hefty price tag. I wanted to try their cult product of a moisturizer cause a lot of people online are saying it changed their skin.  This product is a gamechanger for dry combination skin! It literally makes my skin so hydrated, plumped, soft, smooth, and my complexion looks better now. I can’t say anything bad about this product except that it’s super expensive. If you can afford it, try using it. Your skin will look remarkably better.   LA MER - Crème de Moisturizer

Miracle in a sample? 🤔
I was pretty excited to get this sample from La Mer. After all, their new The Concentrate formula starts at $200. 💸 However, as a barrier serum that strengthens and repaid I was excited because I’m trying to restore my skins moisture barrier. LA MER - The Concentrate What to Know The key ingredients are: Concentrated Miracle Broth™, Lime Tea. Both ingredients defend your skin against free radicals, calm redness, and renew the skin. According to La Mer, “After just 14 days, skin’s natural barrier was significantly strengthened.” 🧐 HOWEVER, here’s where skincare brands lose me. Those results are based on only 23 women who used the serum daily. That IS NOT a big enough pool to make such claims. 🙅‍♀️ Even still I gave it a try to see if maybe I was one of those 23 lucky women. ✨ My Experience After 2 weeks — yes, the sample lasts that long — here’s what I loved about it: It has a rich marine/plant natural scent to it that’s utterly soothing. It could easily double as a primer if you use makeup because it creates a silky-smooth barrier on your skin. My skin’s textures improves by 75% with a smoother and less bumpy texture. It did nothing to calm irritation or ease out my acne. If anything, I got some new whiteheads with this. Final Verdict Would I spend $200+ on this serum? Probably not right now. However, once my skin goes back to normal and stops being reactive, it’s a great daily serum solution for aging signs and moisture.

You Can Always Find Your Eye Product Regardless Of Your Budget😋😋
I'm over 25 years old and the four eye creams below are the eye creams I use most often, some affordable, some luxurious. I have thin, quite sensitive skin with occasional puffy eyes, fine lines around my eyes, and dark circles under them. 1) la prairie - Skin Caviar Luxe Eye Cream (Luxury brand) After scooping it out and dabbing it around my eyes with my fingers, the cream and oil separated, and it was also extremely difficult to dab and spread, so I could only smear it on. The accompanying silver spatula also felt quite useless. In short, after using it for quite a while, it did nothing much for me. Neither my fine lines nor my dark circles were reduced, so it's definitely not worth the price. 2) LA MER - The Eye Concentrate(Luxury brand) La Prairie and La Mer are neck and neck in terms of their reputation and price but La Mer The Eye Concentrate is way more suitable for my skin. It neither has a thick and heavy texture nor is it greasy, and it spreads and absorbs very easily. It's very nourishing and moisturizing to the touch and it doesn't leave my skin sticky. I've just bought it recently so I've yet to see its results, but it's said to be a superstar in reducing fine lines and dark circles. Another thing worth mentioning is the accompanying spatula, a green handle with silver ball, which is used to gently massage the eye cream onto the skin. Cooling and comfortable on the skin, it helps with eye cream absorption, and I hope that I can see results after using it for a longer period. 3) Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado(Affordable brand) It is quite moisturizing but spreads less easily compared to La Mer. It needs to be emulsified between your fingers until it feels more watery before it's applied, or else it can't be properly absorbed! Gently dab from the outer to the inner corners of your eyes after it's the right texture. It does nothing much for me, maybe because it's no longer suitable for my skin age, and it might be more helpful for new fine lines. 4) ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff (Affordable brand) This eye cream is moisturizing and lightweight, which is how I prefer eye creams to be, and it also spreads very easily. The cream itself is a little shimmery and it's said to brighten the skin around the eye area, especially for dark circles. It does nothing much for me, but it feels nicer on the skin and is absorbed more easily compared with Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. It's better to test eye creams yourself instead of just focusing on the skincare brand and following reviews, especially considering how age-sensitive eye creams are.  What's your favorite eye cream?🤩

Worth or not??? My secret for getting a healthy lip!👍
My lip is very dry, especially in fall and winter. These days I went back to my hometown, the climate of my hometown is very very dry, my lip became chapped and painful. It was terrible. Then I bought Lamer Lip Balm, to be honest, as a lip-caring product, it is very very expensive. I bought it because everyone was saying it is “the best lip balm in the world”, after testing it by myself, yes I agree.  LAMER THE LIP BALM $70 LA MER - LA MER The Lip Balm The lip balm is a balm quality of material, basically does not have flavor, attracts very fast. The only fly in the ointment is there is no brush to anoint, so I have to buy an extra brush to match it. Actually the brush is not so useful for me, finger can solve everything! I usually use it before I go to bed because it is a little oily. Using your finger to get a little balm then anoint on your lip. Keeping using it every day while your lip is dry. Now my painful lip is recovered even though I am still staying in my hometown, a very dry place. If your lip is not chapped or painful, the Lamer Lip Balm could play a daily-care role, before wearing your colorful lipstick, I suggest you anoint Lamer Lip Balm on your lip, your lip would be soft than before. Although it is expensive, the weight of Lamer Lip Balm is 9g, which is much more than other lip balms! It is very worth to buy.  Lamer is good at caring dry skin with a long history, I believe the expertise of this band and I totally agree that the Lamer Lip Balm is “the best lip balm in the world”. Now I am planning to buy another one for my mother as a birthday present.

Amazing lip balm with amazing price!!!!
I've been always very much more into lip care products, not necessarily lip make-up products since my adolescence. I have gone through quite a lot of high-end to high street lip care products, and I thought I would share La Mer The Lip Balm and its dupe that I've been using for many years. To be honest, I don't really mind using any lip balms as long as one doesn't irritate my sensitive lips regardless of price tags since even some of the 100% pure natural organic ones have quite often given my lips very uncomfortable itchiness. Nevertheless, these two lip balms have never caused any cold sores to my dehydrated sensitive lip, which is a worthwhile investment for kissable. 1.La Mer the lip balmLA MER - LA MER The Lip Balm When I first purchased the lip balm years ago, I was a little skeptical as La Mer The Lip Blam contains a fragrance, although it's still listed lower part of the ingredient list. However, it turned out that the fragrance is never irritated and lingered on my lips long, rather it gave a pleasant fresh slightly minty smell. You won't have any problem tasting a weird flavor when you drink or eat, so it won't interrupt your daily routine. Just like its name, it's in a balm texture that melts into the skin. It goes on very smooth and fine without any chalky feel. It does feel luxurious, but not as creamy or gliding. At least you won't need to worry about La Mer The Lip Balm melting crazy in the airplane or in Summer due to its mostly sold consistency. La Mer The Lip Balm is also buildable, so if you are in need of more intense moisturization, then you could layer a few times more on your lips. This is how I normally use it during colder seasons or at night as my lips tend to get dry very easily.  2.Ultra Repair Intensive Lip Balm FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Intensive Lip Balm I highly recommend this cheap one, the best dupe for Lamer, this is it... the #1 most hydrating, repairing lip balm of all time. If you want your lips to stop flaking, peeling, and return to plush and hydrated lips THIS IS IT. Very simple packaging, nothing to get excited about but the formula inside is incredible. My lips haven't flaked or peeled since I started using this (2 weeks ago). Lasts for ages, I only apply 3 times a day, morning, afternoon, and night. Other lip balms I swear I'm applying every hour. This lip balm is so thick and creamy. It has a minty smell and is so nourishing. My lips went from super chapped to soft overnight. I don't say this as a dermatologist but I have been suffering from lip eczema for almost a year. While it had not gotten so serious, I was desperately trying to find ways to cure it or reduce it. This lip balm has no petroleum jelly (thank god!) it is very hard to find a lip balm that does not have this as it just acts as a coat and does not provide any moisturizing benefits. The first aid lip balm contains colloidal oatmeal, which is a very good ingredient to have for eczema. I have been using it for a week and my lips are soft and healthy. I was a bit concern with the menthol effect that it gave, but it does not irritate my lips. Good product but costly. I was tired of spending money literally week after week searching for something that worked for me because all the previous lip balms/lip masks did not. My lips were severely damaged and cracked, but once I put this on my lips, I immediately felt them “repairing”. Within several hours of application, I saw that the cracks in my lips were healing.

Easy-peasy routine for lazy days😜
Recently I have been staying at home for weeks and barely going outside. And my face has become really sensitive since I went back to my hometown because of dryness, so I tried a lot of products to fix my face. However, sometimes using more products doesn’t mean better results, and here is my routine when I feel it necessary to give my skin a rest during the day. My skin type is dry skin, and there are some small red rash around my jaw line. After I wake up and wash my face with only water, I will do some morning exercise, so I don’t want to have too much products on my face. First of all, I will start with a fresh toner. I found aKiehl's - Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner, which used to be one of my favorites when I was in college. This is an alcohol-free toner that is also suitable for sensitive skin. It is lightweight liquid, perfect to prep skin for serums or moisturizers after. My next step would usually be serum and then moisturizer, but in this simplified routine I will use theLA MER - The Renewal Oil. It formulated with Miracle Broth and sea-sourced nutrients that will be released after shaking. I will use half pump in my palms and warm it before applying, and gently massage into my face. It can be absorbed easily and leave an allover glow, hydrating and soothing my skin. The last step is for my lips, theLANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask . Enriched with vitamin C, it forms a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture. I always reach out to it no matter I stay at home or before makeup, and one bottle ca be used for almost a year.   This routine is really easy and takes care of both skin and lips, and the oil can even be used on body and hair. I recommend to simplify routine in the morning especially you don’t need to go outside and give your skin enough rest.

Oily skin can't use face oil? Of course not!😏
Facial treatment oils/face oils are not only for dry skin. Those with combination or oily skin can get the same effect if you choose the right skincare products. Below I'll introduce three of my favorite face oils: CLINIQUE - Smart Treatment Oil It has an amazing list of ingredients, including safflower oil (expensive but a great whitener), all kinds of natural oil, vitamin E, and esterified C. It feels great when applied on the skin, and it's easily absorbed, and non-greasy. But I've heard that the production for this product has stopped. SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil It contains retinol acid for anti-aging and anti-acne properties, all kinds of anti-inflammatory ingredients, and also various types of oil extracts to effectively repair the skin's barrier. I'll use this sleeping night oil only when I'm not using other retinol products. It's great at soothing redness, and it's even more effective when you match it with other acidic products. It has an oil-like texture and you have to get used to the slightly bad smell. You can treat it as an entry-level retinol product to build up your skin tolerance. LA MER - The Renewal Oil It contains a lot of anti-aging ingredients, it has a nice scent, a refreshing texture, and is easily absorbed when applied. My skin is visibly more delicate since using it. All these three products won't cause acne breakouts and they are all suitable for combination skin regardless of the season. If you're planning to use it with a serum, you must use it after the serum. If you have any suggestions or questions, pls tell me below!

WORTH IT? La Mer VS. Lancôme
La Mer: The cleansing oil Price: $130 200ml Recommendation index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Removing ability: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Mildness: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cost performance index: 🌟🌟🌟 This has been the best cleanser I've tried, yet. I have used it for a year. The cleanser contains marine oils, but the amazing thing is that no oily layer is left behind after cleansing. It is a great thing for people who already have oily skin. I only need 1-2 pumps for my face and it just lifts all the makeup and gross stuff off my face at the end of my day. My skin is refreshed and radiant and ready for the rest of my skin care routine. If you have pimple / acne issues, this product also helps calms them down. What's more, it looks luxurious and I feel happy when I see it. La Mer line is worth every penny!   Lancôme: BI-FACIL VISAGE MAKEUP REMOVER & CLEANSER Price: $64 200ml Recommendation index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Removing ability: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Mildness: 🌟🌟🌟 Cost performance index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟  Comprised of a lipid and water layer, you need to shake the bottle to mix and activate the product before using. The Bi-Facil cleanser removes make up easily and clean enough. Also, no greasy oily residue remaining. I have sensitive skin, and this didn't irritate my skin at all. Therefore, with a half price of La Mer one, Bi-Facil can be a dupe to replace the high-end product for basic cleaning.  But I still think Lar Mer one is better and worthy because whenever I'm using it my skin is always so well behaved. If you budget is low, it is definitely better to choose Lancôme Bi-Facil. But if you are willing to spend a little bit more, trust me, La Mer one is the first choice!

I’m doing little mini reviews on my fav La Mer items. lamer - cleansing oil. CLAIMS: Designed with precious marine oils that are bio-compatible with the skin. The Cleansing Oil is the optimal first step to any daily cleansing regime. As The Cleansing Fluid is massaged into the skin, circulation is improved. Magnetised Tourmaline enables The Cleansing Oil to gently, yet effectively, dissolve excess sebum, deeply cleansing the pores without disrupting skin's natural balance. Skin is detoxified as stubborn, hard-to-remove makeup is lifted away, leaving skin feeling pristine. Known for its therapeutic properties, ionising sea salt osmotically remineralises the skin. MY RESULTS: I’ve been using this cleansing oil for a year now. This is only my second bottle and as you can see there’s hardly any out of it so although this is on the expensive end for a cleanser it does last a long time. I massage half a pump onto dry skin and then add water until it milks up then I remove with wet cotton pads. This lifts up all traces of make up including waterproof mascara and does not sting the eyes. My skin is always so clean after use but it also feels really conditioned, and doesn’t leave a greasy oil residue afterwards. Once I finished this I originally thought it was nothing special and I wasn’t going to repurchase and bought something else, I lasted 7 days before I had to replace it. For me there is no other oil cleanser like this for removing make up. I simply cannot be without it. Even is your not wearing make up this cleanser removes any surface oil effectively and completely cleans the pores and removes any traces of SPF to prevent that from clogging pores, which can result in blackheads

My Cleanser Awards
La Mer The Cleansing Foam This is my favorite cleanser. It’s loaded with Sea Algae Fiber which works to hydrate and softens your skin. I am oily combination skin. It just gives me a very clean and comfortable feeling with vibrant and creamy foam. It cleans all the excess makeup off my face and everything else clogging my pores. And what attracts me most is it can keep my skin super hydrated and smooth after cleansing. So, I gave this the best hydrating cleanser. Benzac AC Wash 5% It is amazing and has done wonders for my acne. This cleanser features 5.0% Acrylates Copolymer (AC) beads to wash away dirt, oil and dead skin cells that may have accumulated in the pores and also provides cooling and soothing relief. I use this cleanser when I get breakouts on my face, and it always helps with clearing painful pimples in a few days. And the best part is it does so without leaving my skin dry and tight. It is why I gave this cleanser the award for acne-prone skin. Aesop Amazing Face Cleanser It is a daily gel cleanser with a unique smell. This cleanser contains a potent blend of a plant that helps to correct the skin’s natural balance while clearing away grime, oil, and impurities. It works to balance out my skin that is dry on the cheeks with an oily t-zone. After using it, it can leave my skin feeling balanced yet clean. This product regulates sebum production and balance sebum levels. I definitely gave this the best balancing cleanser award.

Cleansers For Combo Skin
I have a combo skin, dry on the cheeks but oily in the T zone. ☺☺ Talk about the three cleansers I have been using 😁😁:  1.  LA MER - The Cleansing Foam I LOVE the smell!!! 💓💓My skin is very clean after I use it, and it doesn't feel tight at all. Not a lot of foam comes out of it, so you need to squeeze out a handful each time. It does feel a little wasteful, but it's a good product if your pores get clogged easily. 2.  la prairie - Foam Cleanser I decided to full size after trying the 50 ml sample. Squeeze a little in the palm of your hand and mix it with water to produce a smooth foam. I usually use it with the LUNA mini 2 cleansing brush. It is great for combination skin, leaves my skin feeling very clean without being dry. 👍🏻👍🏻 3.  Extra-Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream-Clarins My friend recommend it for me. It has a creamy texture. The main ingredients include moringa, shea butter, and mango extract, so it smells great. This foam is designed to remove everyday pollutants and light makeup. It should be used with dry hands on a dry face. Apply an appropriate amount to the face and gently massage for thirty seconds. It feels very soft and very comfortable. 🥰🥰

My holy grail eye cream
My holy grail eye cream
De-puffing and reducing discoloration As you can see from the second image, I’m not wearing any makeup and it looks like I have no dark under eye circle though I didn’t get my 8hr beauty sleep. The smell to me is amazing, very fresh and light. The applicator which comes with it is useful. In the morning when I use it to apply the product, the cold metal wakes me up. I’m halfway through the bottle, and my eyes definitely haven’t seen the puffy days. You won’t get to see the results right away though, so give it 2-3 weeks and be amazed.

My go to anti aging serum for my nightly routine
My go to anti aging serum for my nightly routine
I’ve tried various anti aging serum’s throughout the year and have constantly switched up brands and products that I would use. Despite having so many different choices sitting on my make up desk, I do have a go to one. ESTĒE LAUDER - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II My go to is Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night repair. To be honest, all of my serums do a great job, but the reason that Estee Lauder stood out and became my go to is because they sold me on their new exclusive technology that they’ve incorporated into this serum. If you go on their website, you can see that they go in depth in talking about this new exclusive technology called “ChronoluxCB” that is patented. This technology includes anti-oxidants plus hyaluronic acid to help lock in moisture in your skin which helps your skin regenerate throughout the night. In layman's terms, this technology allows the serum to maximize our own skins natural nighttime regeneration process. I’m not too familiar with all the science behind it, but I trust Estee Lauder as a brand. To top it off, it’s one of the cheaper serum’s in my collection, so that’s definitely a plus in my books. I don’t use this serum exclusively, but it’s definitely my favorite out of all the one’s I have. LA MER - The Concentrate If this one wasn’t available, my second go to is Lamer’s concentrate serum. This one works extremely well, but the reason that it's only my second go to is because of the price. If you can spend a few hundred on this every month, than by all means this is the right now. However, if you are on a budget like me, it's a nice luxury to have but it's not necessary. Lamer’s concentrate does a great job complimenting our skins natural healing process, because it is infused with a highly concentrated miracle broth. The healing and regeneration of this serum is amazing and you can see results shortly after application. If you want to give this a try without breaking the bank, than you can keep an eye out for a complimentary sample of this that are given out in make up bundles or special promotions.

Some products I want to share:
Some products I want to share: Modulating Glucosides by Niod Used this for three months and it really saved my skin during winter as well as helped me when my red cheeks have been playing up. Will I repurchase? Don’t think so as I think of getting a new serum from elan. Ascorbyl Glucoside 12% Solution by The Ordinary This is my all time favourite, it really helps my tone and redness in the mornings. Even trying a different type of Vit C (which went horribly wrong), I came back to this one so I already have a back up. So definitely it’s staying. 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Oil by The Ordinary This has a special place in my heart. Use it in the nights, and I enjoy moisture it gives my skin and the way my skin behaves while using it. Unfortunately wasn’t been able to repurchase. But a unique one is Rose Hip Oil by theinkeylist . Azelaic Acid 10% by The Ordinary This is staying indefinitely in my routine unless I won’t need it anymore. My combination skin enjoys it a lot❤️ . Eye Concentrate by La Mer This is a sample I got from a facial with La Mer, I fell in love with it I use it in conjunction with polaar instant eye Energiser (review coming soon) and once in many years I don’t need to wear a concealer for my genetically dark circles. Also have another one in the go, and even considering getting a full size. Multi Peptide High Density By The Ordinary —deciem Used it for two months, definitely saw new hair growth, but hate the consistency, it’s very hard to use as it’s water like. So I guess the effect isn’t worth a repurchase for me. (Full review is coming up soon) All Clean Balm by —heimish Got this as a sample from style . I actually fell in love with this thing. So I will definitely will order it quite soon. It’s a beautiful balm to oil to milk cleanser and it works well for a double cleanse in the evenings.

Cremé de La Mer
This moisturizer surprised me by how thick it is but how smoothly it applies and how light weight it feels. I received this sample from La Mer to try and enjoyed both products they sent to me. The price point is high end and luxury and unfortunately not feasible for most so I do make recommendations that are more affordable.

My Face Cream Awards
Although I don't have extremely dry skin, I cannot live without face cream in my daily skin care routine. My skin is sensitive, but thank God my skin is not that sensitive. My overall requirement for face cream is soothing the skin, moisturizing and repairing my skin barrier. I've tried many different face cream products. But there are only three products I really like to use. Thanks for their excellent performance and today I want to have an award ceremony for these three products. 🏆Best Skin Relief Award🏆: My skin may have redness due to changes of the weather, and sometimes a little itchy rash may appears . Whenever I encounter these minor problems, I will use this LA MER - Crème de Moisturizer cream. Rub it in the palm of my hand for a while, apply on my face, a little can go a long way! Use it before sleep, and my skin looks better after waking up the next day. 🏆Best Moisturizing Award🏆: This Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream from Kielh’s really does the best job on hydrating my skin! I apply it in the morning and my face will not feel dry or dehydrated all day long. Squalin and ceramide ingredients are really good for dry skin problems! 🏆Best Price Award🏆: This $28 Curél - Intensive Moisture Facial Cream is just so cost-effective! Curel is a brand from Japan, and most products owned by this brand are in very good prices. I want to say that J beauty is not lost to the popular K beauty now! If you are interested in brands from other countries, try it out!

La Met Creme de la Mer
I know this is a cult favorite, but I just do not see what all the hype is about. I got a mini sample of it, and it is a nice moisturizer but it is definitely not worth $180. It is very silky and absorbs well into skin, but I think there are many moisturizers at 1/10th of the price.LA MER - Crème de Moisturizer
