It’s a no for me
I was so stoked to jump on the natural deodorant bandwagon. I love the package, the texture, the light coconut scent.... so I figured what could go wrong?? As soon as I started using this, it took less than 24 hours to develop a rash on my underarms. It burned, itched, and scratched unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Huge bummer, and now I’m scared to try any other similar products. Am I alone in this???KOPARI - Coconut Deo

My current Summer Essential Skincare Products ALOE UP - Sport Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 I love how aloe is the first ingredient, so hydrates and goes on smooth, but this formula makes my back break out. It’s just not good for me, but great for someone else. I have not burned when using this. epicuren DISCOVERY - Aloe Vera Calming Gel I cant say enough great things about this product. It’s clean, light, natural. I use face and body like a serum after any sun exposure. It has green tea and chamomile for added anti-inflammatory benefits. I just used it after swimming through a group of baby jellyfish and it helped sooth the stinging and itching immediatly. epicuren DISCOVERY - Refresh Aloe Cucumber Mist Another summer favorite of mine for face and body. I spritz it all day to keep my skin cool and hydrated and help keep heat induced pigmentation at bay. And I love how it smells 🥰 KOPARI - Coconut Deo It feels like a cool gel. I love applying this multiple times a day. It smells so good and I love knowing it doesnt have any bad chemicals in it. All these products are in my current summer essential bag. The only one I’ll switch out is the Aloe Up once it’s gone. Which will be within the next week.

Mini ulta haul✨
Sometimes $58 can only get you one thing at ulta Today it got me FOUR 😌 Starting off with some skincare from indie lee I have never tried this brand before but I saw they had a clarifying face wash INDIE LEE - Brightening Cleansergot a trial size and that intrigued me into the brand then stumbled upon their INDIE LEE - Banish Stickwhich I think would be great for mascne since pimple patches don’t really work for me ! Skincare Gift Ideas
If you are looking for skincare gift ideas for someone in your life (or just something special for yourself 😉) but don’t know where to start, let me help you! These recommendations work for all skin types and are cult favorites because they work for so many people and have great ingredients. Instead of picking up a prepackaged gift set from some mystery brand with questionable ingredients, try these instead! *but if you actually are wanting a gift set, these brands all have great sets so pick one up!* FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser This cleanser has a great ingredient list but is basic enough that it works for pretty much everyone! You can’t go wrong with gifting this cleanser as it works for all skin types. This brand as a whole is designed for those with sensitive skin. I also recommend the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream because it can be used for the face and body and is a great winter moisturizer. They also are currently carrying limited edition holiday scents of the cream! GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask This mask is very versatile and is good for any skin type! It is super cute, smells great, and can be used as a wash off or sleeping mask. I love this product and it makes my skin look and feel great, but the reason I took one star away is because it tends to pill on my skin. That may not be the case for everyone and I still think this would be a great gift along with anything else in Glow Recipe’s line. BIOSSANCE - 100% Squalane Oil Limited Edition This is a multi-use oil that is a great option if you don’t know the specific concerns/preferences of the person who will be receiving the gift. This is a great oil for the face and body, but is also a wonderful beard and hair oil. KOPARI - Coconut Lip Glossy This brand has lots of face and body care, but the lip balms are my recommendation. They have tinted and an well as clear balms that feel like a lip mask and give a slight glossy look (hence the name). They are very hydrating and don’t need to be reapplied constantly like some balms make you do. Currently they have a gift set that contains both the original lip balm and a limited edition peppermint lip balm. If you have tried any of these products or have skincare gift recommendations of your own please leave a comment!

Coconut in Skincare
Coconut in skincare has become very popular over the last few years. Many people claim that coconut oil saved their skin, while some say it ruined their skin. For those with oily and acne-prone skin, it has been known to be particularly troubling because coconut oil is comedogenic. This means that it is pore-clogging, and this could make acne worse. Coconut oil contains fatty acids, antioxidants, and a medium-chain fatty acid called lauric acid which is allegedly known to kill acne-causing bacteria. Some say it can also be used as a hydrating moisturizer, but most dermatologists state that it just sits on top of the skin, and wouldn’t recommend it to acne-prone skin types. All the products in this photo have coconut oil as a star ingredient except for the lip balm and the primer. The Too Faced primer contains coconut water which is full of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals to help hydrate and soothe your skin without all the pore-clogging. The Balm Dot Com just smells delicious, and contains no coconut oil. I love the scent of coconut skincare, it is so sweet and makes me think of tropical, warm places! I have had no adverse reactions to the coconut oil in these products, but they may not work for everyone. What is your favourite coconut product?

I bought them for cuteness...... now I’m in love
To be honest, I am easily influenced along with my ability to influence others.... especially when it comes to skincare. I literally saw a sale a little bit back for @koparibeauty, checked them out, saw a pineapple enzyme cleanser and a gardenia deodorant.... and then I was a goner! 🥥🥥⠀ ⠀ I’m coconuts about this brand now! The rose toner and cleansing oil are daily uses for me now cause I cannot get enough of the coconut vanilla scent. I was Leary about using coconut oil cause 19 year old Erin was a dumbass who used regular coconut oil on her face and broke out like crazy, BUT!! This brand has created and used such a perfect coconut oil that my skin is actually thriving from it!! 💃🏼 ⠀ ⠀ I find the deo keeps me from being stinky all day without any shirt residue which is great and I smell like one of my fav flowers! The toothpaste is a miss as I hate how the black charcoal kinda gets everywhere and there is no fluoride. But it’s been nice to use for sure. 🙌🏻⠀ ⠀ If you guys want more reviews let me know! But honestly, I really love this stuff am will be a local customer now 🥰 how could I not when their stuff is this freaking adorable!!

Glow Baby Glow
A glow is what we all crave and strive for am I right? We want our skin to be bouncy, health, bright and glowing and I have four products that help with that! I have dry dehydrated skin that constantly looks dull, so I crave that glow and always work towards it. First of all, a glow is achieved with exfoliation. There are many different ways but I believe gentle exfoliation and chemical exfoliation is the key. I discovered this cleanser by Kopari by chance and it’s literally called a glow cleanser! It works by gently eating away at dead skin on the surface with pineapple and papaya enzymes to reveal baby smooth, clear and new skin. This skin will always look it’s best. KOPARI - Tropical Glow Cleanser Next would be vitamin C. This powerful antioxidant ingredient is skin loving in that it will brighten the complexion, tighten and firm, and correct or lighten any dark spots or imperfections like acne scars. I have dark marks from post acne and religiously use my vitamin C from Skinceuticals in the morning to lighten these spots and even my skin tone. An even skin tone will always shine and glow more than skin with marks. This serum is literally the best of the best and the vitamin e and ferulic acid work to help stabilize and boost the effects of the powerhouse c. SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum Niacinamide is an easy way to achieve glow. It reduces pore size by helping control oil production which can make the pores look bigger and when you see large pores, you’re seeing dullness instead of healthy skin. So this is essential. Caudalie nailed it out of the park with this beautiful cream! CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Moisturizer with Niacinamide Lastly I believe in oil cleansing! Clean skin is healthy skin! Oil cleansing helps break up makeup, sunscreen, gunky oil and other impurities from the day to reveal a nourished happy skin!! It can also help get rid of the excess oil that can block pores and cause pimples and clogs. Clear skin glows!! I love Kopari since it’s a lightweight silky oil that smells of vanilla and rinses away in a milky substance. KOPARI - Coconut Cleansing Oil I hope you try at least one of these ingredients to help achieve your glow ✨

I tried a shaving hack with this product
KOPARI - Organic Coconut Melt * (this product was gifted but all opinions are my own) A few months ago when I began to experience rough and bunpy legs after shaving, I was searching om Youtube for shaving hacks. I came across a video where a girl said that she used coconut oil to shave her legs because shaving creams always irritated her. I thought this was a great idea and decided to give it a try. I decided to use the Kopari coconut melt because 1. coconut oil breaks out my face so I knew I wasn’t going to use it for that and 2. I was gifted this product and I hate to see product go to waste. I’m glad I hung onto this product because it really works! You can use any type of coconut oil that’s solid form and melts with body temperature. I like this one from Kopari because it’s a high quality coconut oil with no filler ingredients and the packaging makes it so that it doesn’t slip in the shower. After applying the coconut oil to your legs, begin shaving. At first I noticed that it was a bit difficult to shave because oil and water don’t mix so I wasn’t getting a smooth glide. But after I finished, I noticed my legs were super smooth and not irritated at all! I think the coconut oil provides the right barrier between my legs and the razor to make a smooth finish. I do have to wash off the coconut oil with body wash before exiting the shower because it leaves an oil residue. I’m so glad I made this product work for me because it really has amped up my shaving game and I no longer have to struggle deciding what shaving cream to purchase anymore!

🥥 KOPARI review 🥥
I am genuinely so obsessed with these two products. 😍 When I initially switched to natural deodorant, I tried this and fell in love. Perfect texture and it really works for me. I know a lot of people have difficulty find the right natural deodorant for them so I was glad I only had to try one. As for the coconut melt, think of coconut oil in a jar- only BETTER. I initially received a sample of this and became instantly hooked. This reminds me of a tropical vacation. I use this every night before bed from my neck down and I love the fact that this stuff doesn’t stain my white sheets. It’s hard to find brands that consistently deliver such great results, but Kopari has really done a great job.

Boxy pop up haul! ✨
This was my first boxy pop up haul and I’m super excited to have bought these items on a big sale. Everything was really affordable but shipping took about 2 weeks. It wasn’t a problem for me since the prices make it worth it. I didn’t buy that many since I just wanted to see how it would be. Now that I’ve received them I definitely want to order again for holiday presents and more things for myself! Beauty creations, esmeralda palette, it’s a super cute palette and it was only a few bucks. Super cute as a starter palette that I will gift to my young cousin. Beauty Creations - Esmeralda Palette I Farmacy cheer up brightening vitamin C eye cream, I’ve heard it’s a really nice eye cream and saw that 2 of them came in a set so I had to have them. Definitely giving one to my mom. FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry One of my favorite cleansers was in the sale so I got it. The kopari tropical glow cleanser. This is one that actually melts away my mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow without having me scrubbing my eye. KOPARI - Tropical Glow Cleanser Natasha denona duo glow in Rayo. I’ve previously used my friends duo glow(pre covid) and I used to love it so much. Now I finally have it and will use it a lot. I like that this is includes a mirror. Plus if I bought this on Sephora’s site I would’ve spent close to $40. NATASHA DENONA - Duo Glow Kaja heart melter lip gloss stick in the shade crazy 4 U, a soft rosy mauve. On sale for a few bucks and I can’t wait to use this. Plus the shape of the gloss is in the shape of a heart. Kaja - Heart Melter Lip Gloss Stick Perricone MD Citrus brightening cleanser, I’ve seen this around and always wanted to try it out. I hope this is really good. I like that it’s in a glass bottle so I’d be able to reuse it. Perricone MD - Free Full Size Citrus Facial Wash With Brand Purchase

Current favorite cleansers 🧼✨
These are the cleansers I’ve been using this summer and the ones that have helped prevent maskne (mask acne). Ole Henriksen truth juice daily cleanser, gel/creamyish texture. Feels super nice on my skin and leaves my skin really clean. Gentle to use everyday and the scent is really yummy. It gets my eye makeup off nicely without having to use too much. $28.00 for 5oz OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser Kopari tropical glow cleanser, recently got this, about a few weeks ago. I’ve really been loving this. Super surprised that this removed my waterproof mascara! Maybe it’s me but I have noticed a slight brightness whenever I use this. It smells amazing. It has a coconut 🥥 scent but not a lot. The texture is gel and very liquidy. Super gentle on my skin and the coconut didn’t irritate me. $24.00 for 4.5 oz KOPARI - Tropical Glow Cleanser Inn beauty project clarifying daily cleanser, very foamy and feels like a cloud on your face. This helped me with maskne whenever I had small acne appear on my chin I’d use this to help get rid of it. It’s very nice however it didn’t easily get rid of my eye makeup. I’d have to use a bit to get rid of eyeliner and mascara. Besides that it’s great. $22 for 3.4 oz iNNBEAUTY PROJECT - Foam Around Clarifying Daily Cleanser Kiehl’s ultra facial cleanser, one of the cleansers that I’ve been using for years. This has kept my skin soft and clear and moisturized. The texture on this is a thicker gel. Great for all skin types and not super expensive. $12 for 2.5 oz or $22 for 5 oz Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser Farmacy green clean makeup melting cleansing balm, I love using this. The balm smells very fresh and this removed ALL my eye makeup. I could have waterproof mascara/eyeliner on, eyeshadow with sparkles on and it got rid of it. Without leaving residue. $22 for 1.7 oz or $34 for 3.4 oz FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

Why I Stopped Using These...
KOPARI - Coconut Body Milk #CheriePartner These are two body lotions that I’ve revently tried and enjoyed yet had to stop using. I even featured these in an older post of mine! When I was using these, I noticed small pimples on my upper chest. It toon me a while to figure out but long story short, these do NOT work well with me. Both of these products have coconut oil in them and I think fhat is what is breaking me out! When I quit using these and started using Vanicream, they went away! Vanicream is a dye free, fragrance free moisturizer that has worked wonders for me. Another thing that helped was using the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA ! It has salicylic acid and helped to clear the small pimples that had formed on my chest. Moral of the story, read those ingredient lists before using any product!

MY GO TO BODY LOTIONS
KORRES - Guava Body Butter KOPARI - Coconut Body Milk (Athen Club Dewy Body Lotion does not have a tag 5/5 stars) Korres: This product is my go-to for special occasions because it really does feel luxurious and smells wonderful! I want to save this for when I want to smell really good because the scent is so unique yet sweet and pleasant. This lotion claims to be a deeply hydrating body butter. I agree with this claim because it is super moisturizing and thick. I really enjoy that because it leaves my skin with a glow! I love putting this on my legs when I’m wearing a skirt or dress. Kopari: The coconut body milk is advertised as a quick absorbing body lotion that keeps your skin soft all day long. I definitely agree! I chose this as my intense hydrating body lotion because it really absorbs into your skin. Because of this, you can layer the lotion to create an intensely hydrated effect. I layer this every night with another moisturizer and it works amazing! It locks in the moisture so I wake up with super soft skin! The scent on this is subtle yet a sweet coconut that I enjoy very much. Athena Club. Their Dew Body Lotion is advertised as a fast absorbing lotion with skin-loving ingredients. I love the natural scent of this! It’s not too overpowering. I also love how it doesn’t leave your skin too sticky. For this reason, it is my everyday lotion that I reach for almost every morning! I am also obsessed with the dewy glow as rhe name suggests. It gives me the look of well hydrated skin and I cannot get enough of it!

Quarantine Glowup: Underarm Edition 🙋🏼‍♀️
Quarantine Glowup: Underarm Edition 🙋🏼‍♀️
A part of our body that we really tend to overlook is our armpits, especially in the wintertime. I have always been so self conscious about my underarms because they have always been dark and bumpy. During this quarantine time that we have, I am using it to get my underarms in shape for summer! The first thing I am doing regularly is using either a physical exfoliant (Frank Body’s Coffee Scrub) or a chemical exfoliant (The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid) on my underarms 2-3 times per week. Both of these are very gentle on the skin, but I still feel like both of them clear out my pores and help reduce the bumps. I am also trying to treat them like the skin on my face and moisturize my underarms EVERY day! I am using Gold Bond’s Rough and Bumpy Skin Lotion. I have used this for KP bumps on my legs for years and it is great for moisturizing and also providing additional exfoliation! Another thing I have started over this time is using a natural deodorant! I sweat a lot and struggle with odor, so this is a big step for me! There has not been a ton of research done on the topic, but I have seen some articles stating that bumpy underarms are sometimes caused by aluminum buildup. So I am switching to Kopari, which is a natural, coconut oil-based deodorant. I figure that the coconut oil will help with moisturizing my underarms as well! I got the original coconut milk scent and I am very pleased with it so far! The smell is pleasant and it feels quite nourishing for my underarms. I haven’t noticed an overwhelming amount of sweating either! I have only been following this routine for about a week now, but I am extremely pleased with all of the products I have used so far and I am excited to see the results in a few weeks!

Today’s just a quick chat abou
Today’s just a quick chat about this kopari coconut oil Now, I wouldn’t normally gravitate toward coconut oil - Kopari brand or otherwise, but this one has *really* pleased me. I have these guys pictured here from various value sets, and I am *so* glad that they came in them. I had a misconception about coconut oil for a while, and that was that it was way too greasy and would never sink in properly. This Kopari one here sinks in really fast and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy - it really just makes me feel super smooth and moisturized! Really, really happy with this Kopari coconut oil.

Perfume and Deoderant all in 1
Perfume and Deoderant all in 1! I love how this stuff smells and how silky it feels. I used chemical deod for years, then switched to this 2yrs ago. I feel like you need to let your body detox the bad chemicals first, then over time you wont sweat as much, and the coconut fragrance always smells good. They make a gardenia scent that I have yet to try. Anyone reccomend that one?

Kopari Coconut Deodorant
This is my favorite “natural” deodorant I’ve tried to date! This one keeps my underarms dry and doesn’t give off that BO smell. Have not experienced any irritation either which happened with some other formulas. And the best part is unlike other deodorants, it doesn’t stain my white clothes. I’ve only tried the coconut version, but would love to check out the other scents they offer.
