My Favorite Product ❤️
I’ve mentioned my MakeUp Eraser - The Original Makeup Remover Cloth in other posts, so I decided to do a more in depth review of it, and hopefully help you decide if you should get one or not! I wear pretty heavy makeup every day. I used to be so bad at taking it off at night, basically destroying my skin. I hated using makeup wipes because I always felt they were overpriced and wasteful, and washcloths always felt too rough on my skin. Then one day my best friend sent me a Makeup Eraser - and my life changed forever! Four years later and I now have 8 makeup erasers, including the first one I got (which still works after 4 years). I do have to say however that I do not have 8 of theMakeUp Eraser - The Original Makeup Remover Cloth I only have two of the name brand product, the other 6 are dupes. Marshall’s and TJ Maxx have been very good to me in my hunt for cheaper versions of these. I still check for them every time I go. I even found the name brand product at TJ Maxx for $7 once, major score! I love this product because it is SO soft on my skin and takes off my makeup with with literally just water. It lasts for years and doesn’t cause any waste like remover wipes or cotton pads. How To Use: When you get the product it says on the packaging to wash it in the washing machine before your first use. Even though I am an impatient person at times, I washed it before using because I wanted to make sure I got the best results. I don’t actually know what washing it first does, but it’s what they recommend. When using it to take off makeup you need to saturate it with warm water. Once it’s completely wet you use the side with the shorter microfibers to remove makeup, and flip it over to use the other side to exfoliate. I’ve used this to take off waterproof makeup and long lasting lipsticks. The company says to wash it once a week. Since I wear heavy makeup every day, I only use it once before washing it. I feel like it’s cleaner that way. When I only had one eraser I would use it multiple times before washing and never had an issue, but I still felt a little uneasy reusing a dirty cloth. If I were to buy the name brand product I would pick one of their mini sets. You get 7 mini wipes, that way you can just use it once and wash it. They do post deals on Instagram once in awhile, so keep an eye out for that. The Original Makeup Eraser is $20, which I could argue is ultimately worth the price, but the cheapskate in me just has a hard time spending so much on a piece of cloth. So, if you are an avid Marshall’s or TJ Maxx shopper, check the makeup aisle every time just in case! I also tried buying some knock offs from Amazon and they were absolutely terrible, even with some reviews saying they were great. It’s hard when buying knock off’s online because you can’t feel them, so just be careful! Ask me anything in the comments and good luck in your makeup removing hunt!

FAVORITE | Makeup Eraser
Okay, so I was a little skeptical at first when I got this but I’m so glad I did. It literally takes your makeup off with just warm water. Wet the towel, ring it out a little, then take your makeup off. I was so impressed by this product it makes me want to buy it as gifts for my friends and family! It has a gentle side (2nd pic) and then an exfoliating side (3rd pic). I got the pink, but it comes in so many different colors. It can get rid of waterproof makeup and mascara with ease. I just throw it in the wash with my clothes when it gets a little too dirty. And it comes out looking good as new! Can be found at Sephora, Ulta, and places online for just $20. Considering all the makeup wipes I won’t be throwing away anymore, it is such a good price. MakeUp Eraser - The Original Makeup Remover Cloth

Makeup Gift Ideas
If you are looking for a makeup gift for someone but don’t know where to start, let me help! These recommendations are good for anyone who wears makeup whether they’ve just gotten into it or they’ve been wearing makeup for a long time. MakeUp Eraser - MakeUp Eraser MakeUp Erasers area great gift for anyone who wears makeup! All you need is water to wet the cloth and it wipes away all makeup. It is gentle enough to use on the eyes while still removing even waterproof mascara! NYX - Epic Ink Liner This liquid liner performs as well as high end eyeliners but at a drugstore price! It lasts all day without flaking or smearing (and even withstands some tears) but isn’t an absolute pain to remove. This is a great eyeliner for beginners and experts. it Cosmetics - You're Easy on the Eyes Dual-Ended Eyeshadow Brush Set You can’t go wrong with any makeup brushes from this brand! They’re pretty pricey, but if you don’t know specifics about what the recipient of your gift likes in terms of makeup, eye brush sets are a safe bet. These brushes perform very well and come in many cute colors and designs. If you are looking for a more affordable brush set,MORPHE - Eye Got This Brush Set is a good option as well. cargo COSMETICS - Limited Edition Namastay in India Eye Shadow Palette I recommend any eyeshadow palettes from this brand, but this one is my personal favorite. I don’t see people talking about this brand but the eyeshadows perform really well and the shimmer shades are beautiful! If you’re looking for eyeshadow to give as a gift this is a great place to start. If you have tried any of these products or have any makeup gift suggestions please let me know in the comments!

🎃 Halloween 🦇 Skincare 💀
🎃 ‘tis the SPOOKY SEASON with Halloween around the corner, Halloween make up looks are IN. Putting this much product on your face can cause a lot of buildup and breakouts! Here is what I do to prevent that! 🦇 My Skin - oily and acne prone: because I can’t acne even if I’m not irritating my skin, I have to be extra careful when using eyeshadow all over my face 💀 how i CLEAN 1) always double cleanse! i use an Oil cleanser like DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser to remove makeup. i let it melt into my skin and then rub it in before rinsing. I like this putter cleanser, but it is more expensive than I usually like to buy I don’t use makeup wipes, i use a makeup eraser like MakeUp Eraser - MakeUp Eraser to get any extra traces. it’s better for your skin, and better for the environment. are usually use this if i have any waterproof stuff left on my face 2) cleanser 2 Murad - Time Release Acne Cleanser I use a cleanser with salicylic acid to get out any extra oil and clean the gunk out of my skin. This is more of a treatment stuff than a make up removal stuff. I like this cleanser because it calms my skin while treating it 3) exfoliating lil scrubber tarte - Cleansing Cutie Scrubber this little exfoliating scrub her from tart is only seven dollars, andI use it whenever I need a little extra physical exfoliation in my routine. do it every day SK can irritate any active spots I have, if I’m doing a look like the one in this picture, sometimes you need a little extra manpower

My skin type is combo oily normally, but have been using a topical acne treatment from my dermatologist so my skin has been on the more combo dry side. My skin concern is acne, but it’s finally starting to go away and is barely there now! I try to make purchases that are more sustainable so that I can try and limit my effect on the planet, but clean beauty isn’t as important to me because I think most of it is just a marketing ploy. . I switched out my cotton balls that I used for removing my eye or face makeup with when I use micellar water for these reusable cotton rounds ODOXIA - ODOXIA Reusable Makeup Remover Pads ! I bought these off Amazon in a 15 pack for $7.99! It includes 3 colors, a bright blue, black, and white, plus a bag you can put them in to wash them. These are so soft and plush, but don’t soak up a ton of product. I also use these for toner sometimes, but just switched putting the toner in my hands and splash onto my face. I love that there’s more than enough of these for a week so I can just throw this in with my laundry at the end of the week. The white ones do stain a bit with mascara and doesn’t come off in the wash, but I’m not too worried about that. I do keep some cotton balls on hand to remove my nail polish because I’ve heard from others that the nail polish does stain these badly and I don’t like the idea of using these on my face after having used them to remove nail polish, even if they’ve been washed. . I picked up MakeUp Eraser - Original Pink and MakeUp Eraser - Chic Black MakeUp Eraser when they were half off at Ulta at the beginning of the year and so glad I did!! They were only $10 each and so worth it! They are so gentle yet effective. One side is more exfoliating, but still not harsh, and one is more gentle. It claims that you can use it by itself to remove all your makeup, but I really enjoy using these with my cleansing balm. It removes the balm and makeup so easily and with minimal effort. I haven’t had issues with any staining after washing them. I’m sure there are cheaper options out there that are the same as this, but they’ve been in the last few 21 Days of Beauty sales at Ulta so I’ll just wait to pick up more then. They have cute different patterns and sets, these are so gentle for the face and great for removing makeup! I used to use makeup wipes, which can have harsh ingredients or be super dry and you have to keep wiping hard to try and remove your makeup. These are so much easier to use, plus can be thrown in the washing machine with towels and lasts for 3-5 years!! . #cheriepartner

🍃 sustainable ♻️ skincare 🌎
🍃 my skin: oily and acne prone 🌎 my ethos: living a sustainable lifestyle is so important. im an oceanography student and an environmentally conscious person. I try to not use single use plastic and actively buy from environmentally responsible companies. ♻️ My tips 1) BUY LOCAL. Shipping has a huge environmental cost, from international cargo ships, to jet fuel and truck emissions. Walk or drive to your nearest Ulta, Sephora, or CVS if you can. Doing this can offset SO much! 2) BUY REUSABLE. and reuse your products! Just say no to any single use item (cotton ball, cotton swab, face wipe) and get reusable wipes like MakeUp Eraser - Original Pink There are also SO many reusable cotton pads out there! Buy products that have reusable bottles like THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum I have been refilling this bottle with facewash for travel! 3) BUY BIG. a large size of any product lasts longer and uses less plastic than two or three minis. Plus the cost per oz is usually less than buying a mini. save $, save plastic. Murad - Clarifying Cleanserhas 6.75 oz for only $32, and will last for months 4) BUY GLASS. I save my droppers and glass bottles to store other products in. Brands like herbivore and youth to the people use glass only! HERBIVORE - Prism 20% AHA + 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Facial and ISLE OF PARADISE - Self Tanning Drops are both glass and reusable!

Just Add Water 💦
How many of us have used makes wipes in the past or even now 🙋🏼‍♀️. I was completely unaware of how bad they can actually be for my skin. When I received my first makeup eraser it was actually this past Christmas in a gift set that my friend gave me. It was a tiny trial size on so I only really used it to take off my eye makeup and whatever I was wearing on my lips that day but boy was I amazed at what it took off. The brands mission was to create a sustainable makeup removing products using one of the worlds most sustainable resources: water. And they did just that! They have helped eliminate the use of wipes as 3600 wipes equal one makeup eraser! I don’t know about you but I think that’s wonderful. The benefits of the makeup eraser include: * Less waste * Lasts 3-5 years * Gently exfoliates your skin and lips * Great for sensitive skin * Machine washable They come in a variety of colors/patterns and even sell a pack of 7 so you have one for each day which is great. (The original size retailing for $20) They can easily be used in your cleansing routine when removing makeup but always follow up with a cleanser. How to use: * Use your makeup eraser in sections (I section mine into 3 so I can use it for 3 days) * Wet a section with water and watch as the makeup eraser wipes away your makeup * Remember to wash your makeup eraser 1-2 times a week to keep it clean and ready to use again (I throw mine in the washer with my towels)MakeUp Eraser - Chic Black MakeUp Eraser

MAKEUP ERASER HIT OR MISS? Full disclosure, I got a chance to be an affiliate with Makeup Eraser but I had never tried it. As you know, I never promote anything unless it has my full support. So I needed to give it a try and, not only that, let’s see how it compares to some of the other versions I’ve been using. Here’s what they claim: Erase ALL makeup with JUST water! Including waterproof mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, foundation, and more! It sounds too good to be true, especially with all of the full coverage, long-lasting, waterproof products I wear so let’s go! I took the new pink version into my bathroom after wearing my full coverage foundation and concealer, you saw my face. The mascara and eyeliner I was wearing was waterproof and my eyeshadow had way more pigment than most eyeshadow. I wet the MakeUp Eraser with a little warm water and started wiping down one side. I started out as gentle as possible to see how well it works and to my surprise it actually took off so many layers of makeup better than some eye makeup removers might I add. I went back over my waterproof eyeliner with a little more pressure but my lipstick/foundation/blush/brows were a breeze to erase. Is it better than regular makeup wipes? 100% Yes! I’m very anti-wipes, so I absolutely approve of this. It feels clean, soft, and takes off all my makeup. It’s especially worth it when you’re traveling or doing an overnight and don’t want to bring your entire line of skincare products approved by Hyram. Need another reason to buy it? MakeUp Eraser is dedicated to creating the most sustainable makeup removal product in the world by using only the most accessible resource available: WATER. They truly believe we can eliminate the 3rd most wasteful product in the world: WIPES. Did you know 1.3 billion wipes are used daily! That's 2x the waste of the plastic straw! 1 MakeUp Eraser equals 3600 wipes! 8 GAME-CHANGING BENEFITS: Antibacterial No chemicals Less waste Lasts 3-5 years Machine washable Great for sensitive skin Face + lip exfoliator Saves money TAKE 20% OFF YOUR PURCHASE WITH CODE ECOFRIENDLY20 AT MAKEUPERASER.COM. Cleansing routine for Acne Prone Skin ✨
Hi Cherie Friends, I just wanted to share my favorite AM and PM cleansing routine. Skin Background: I’m in my mid thirties and I have combination-to-dry, sensitive reactive and acne prone skin. I also have eczema... all around fun times. My main concerns are of course treating breakouts, maintain balance moisture level, and stop the aging clock as much as possible. I mainly only use cruelty-free, Vegan when possible products— there’s no need for that nonsense with the myriad of technology that we have today. 🌙PM Cleansing routine: When I wear a full face of make up I like to triple cleanse. ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm I will massage a pea to some size of this baby all over my face. This is so gentle and really breakdown all my waterproof mascara and foundation. MakeUp Eraser - Holiday Set Then remove them with these babies. Did you know that one pad can replace up to 500 make up wipes? Which all end up in our ocean or the landfills. I usually repeat this step, depends on how I’m feeling. #Zenmed - Facial Cleansing Gel[products]#[FiveStars] Friends, if you have not heard of Zenmed and you have acne— you must try it! This is a gentle gentle cleanser that doesn’t strip the skin and cleans so well. I just put a dime size cleanser on myMICHAEL TODD BEAUTY - Soniclear Petite Antimicrobial Sonic Skin Cleansing Brush with MICHAEL TODD BEAUTY - Delicate Sensitive Skin Antimicrobial Brush Head My skin feels so soft and clean after 2 minutes of cleansing. The brush tells you when you’re finished I also use the cleansing brush with MICHAEL TODD BEAUTY - Soniclear Replacement Serum Infusion Head to massage in the serums. On Non-make up days: I still use my MICHAEL TODD BEAUTY - Soniclear Petite Antimicrobial Sonic Skin Cleansing Brush & MICHAEL TODD BEAUTY - Delicate Sensitive Skin Antimicrobial Brush Head With a dollop of COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser I also really love how gentle this cleanser is and the added BHA helps to gentility exfoliate any excess dead skin cells and sebum. ☀️ AM Cleansing Routine: I hate waking up guys... I hate it so much. So I pretty much keep it really simple. Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser I’ve been loving this gentle cleanser. It smells amazing and super super gentle and pack enough punch to just remove the gunk out of my eyes and wake me up. I believe you can also use this to remove make up but I haven’t tried it yet. I’m actually running out of cleansers, please let me know your favorites below! 🐰cruelty free Thank you! Be Kind, Stay Beautiful

Makeup remover
Makeup remover
The makeup eraser is marketed as a natural makeup remover that is eco friendly and reusable. It is targeted to remove all dirt and makeup after your day is over with one cloth. It is a gentle towel that has fibers that grip your makeup and wipe it away. It is softer than a regular face towel and when water hits it it almost beads up. I have been using my makeup eraser for over a year and just bought a new one because they were having great deals. It is $20 regularly for the full size which is a great value. You can throw the makeup eraser in the wash with your other towels and it comes out ready to use again. I love having this with me because it makes traveling and on the go makeup removing so easy. It’s versatile and can be used multiple times before needing a wash. I would give this product 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to everyone. Plus it makes a great stocking stuffer for the holidays coming up! MakeUp Eraser - The Original Makeup Remover Cloth

💧 Battle of the Tools - Face Cleanser 💧
💧 Battle of the Tools - Face Cleanser 💧
Both of these products claim to cleanse the face and remove makeup. The Clarisonic (the electric option) also claims to minimize the appearance of pores and prevent breakouts, exfoliates, is anti-aging and firming, reduces under-eye puffiness, and can’t even blend foundation flawlessly. The MakeupEraser (the manual version) doesn’t have any other claims than to easily remove makeup, even waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and foundation! There is an exfoliating side of the washcloth (the one with the tag on it), so it can also exfoliate. Obviously the Clarisonic is much more versatile, but it depends on the various brush heads you buy additionally. There’s the Eye Masseger one ($59 😱), the 3D Face Sculptor ($59), the Brush Head ($39), and then the regular face washing heads ($27-29 depending on the version). So basically the tool alone can’t give you all the results it claims, unless you buy the special brush head for it 🥴 they add up real quick. The brush heads don’t last that long for me either. Honestly, I don’t like using this brush that much anyway, it’s pretty bulky and hard to get around the nose. I also don’t feel comfortable using this to remove makeup since I think it’d get dirty real quick. The times I’ve used it with my second cleanse I haven’t really been impressed either. It is nice to be able to go on the app and chose a certain routine you want your Clarisonic to do at certain times of the day. This is the Mia Smart 3-in-1 Conmected Beauty Device and it costs $169. The MakeupEraser can be used by itself to remove makeup or you can use it to wash of face washes or masks, but be sure to wash it really well. I’ve found it removes my makeup nice and it’s really easy and gentle and doesn’t hurt or dry out my skin. I’ve used it by itself and to remove other products and I’m impressed. I prefer to use it over the facial wash clothes I bought before I got some of these. It is easy to wipe the eyes, side of nose, along the hairline, anywhere where a typical washcloth or the Clarisonic can be difficult or scary to use. A MakeupEraser costs $20 and there are a variety of colors and prints. . Overall, I definitely prefer the manual over the electric in any situation because I just want a basic way to remove my makeup. I don’t need a special tool that does a multitude of tasks that I have other products to do anyway. The brush heads to perform those tasks anyway are too expensive for the results, in my opinion. The MakeupEraser claims to last 3-5 years and is machine washable. The manual option is cheaper upfront and in the long run and the makeup removal and cleaning my face is so much easier with this, even though the electric is more versatile/customizable. I’m honestly debating decluttering/selling the Clarisonic because I just never reach for it anymore and don’t enjoy using it.

MakeUp Eraser - The Original M
MakeUp Eraser - The Original Makeup Remover Cloth I love this! It removes all makeup gently and with just water so I don’t have to worry about getting cleanser in my eyes, is easy to clean is cute too! Love the hot pink color. This product is a holy grail. $20 for something that can be used practically forever with 10% effort? A steal. It is a terry cloth-ish cloth that is soft, gentle and works wonders. You do not need to scrub hard at all. I would totally recommend. I got a sample in a Birchbox years ago and still use it (I clean it regularly). It works on mascara, liquid lipstick, everything. I like to do a quick cleanse after (not to remove anything, just to refresh), but that is totally not necessary. I love not having to worry if my skin will react to a normal makeup wipe or remover and the fact that it is eco-friendly and re-useable. LOVE THIS!

I don’t quite understand this product
I don’t quite understand this product
I try not to be a negative person, but at the end of the day it’s my duty to be honest and just with my reviews. I need to get this monster off of my chest. Now, I love the idea of the Makeup Eraser—MakeUp Eraser - Original Pink but in practice it is just not antibacterial or practical enough for me to continue using. The makeup eraser is a reusable, double sided cloth that claims to only need warm water and gentle rubbing motions to remove “even the toughest waterproof/smudge proof makeup.” Ok, Karen. However it does have 2 sides so I guess you can use one side on the first day and the other side on the second day but I would personally need to wash this every day with my acne prone skin...and that’s a little much. To make this viable for me, I’d have to invest in 5-7 of these and that’s ridiculous as they’re $20 each. I do like the idea of a reusable makeup cloth—don’t get me wrong. However, I feel that we have seen a rise of balm/oil cleansers to completely erase the need of cloth or wipes altogether! I want to carefully explain my experience with this and the photos I’ve attached: So I did as the instructions stated: I wetted the cloth with warm water and begun using the first side to gently try to remove the makeup o the back of my hand: eyebrow pencil, lip liner, cream eyeshadow, and concealer. With warm water alone, it wasn’t working...so I switched tot he other side thinking there may be a difference (tbh the instructions on its listing on Sephora’s website don’t say anything about the different sides) but it still wasn’t washing it off. So I added an oil makeup removing solution to the mix...and it still wasn’t completely removing the makeup!! I eventually had to go in with a balm cleanser after this to finally remove all the makeup. Plus, looking at this dirty cloth...it makes me want to wash it immediately and absolutely NOT reuse it the next day without washing it. It may seem dramatic, but I REALLY tried to make this work...it just didn’t! At $20/each, I think if you want to make this work for you, it may be a good investment and you’ll have to do laundry every day... I like the company’s mission to reduce waste in the form of disposable makeup wipes. But in practice it just isn’t worth it for me. I have to rate this 2 out of 5 stars—I like the company’s mission and the fact that this is supposed to last 1,000 machine washes—but it just does not do what I need it to.
