Best Serum: TIA’M, It’s Skin, The Ordinary?
Of all the skin dilemmas in the world, I personally bear a grudge against dark spots. For some reason, I always seem to get them. 😭 To combat this troublesome issue, I typically rely on serums that can lighten dark spots and pimple marks. In this review, I’ll be talking about 3 serums I’ve used in the past for this specific purpose! First, we’re going to talk about TIA'M - My Signature C-Source Serum Tiam My Signature C-Source Serum. I actually found this serum while looking for good vitamin C serums online. The reviews seem pretty nice, so I was enticed to try it out myself. This product 6000mg of 100% vitamin C and 20% of L-ascorbic acid and claims to have 40 times more Vitamin C than oranges and 200 times more than mandarins. Wow. All I can say is, I think it did work on my skin, though it oxidized quite fast. One thing you have to know about vitamin C serums is that most of them have to be kept in a dark, cool place to prevent them from turning dark yellow or orange. I kept this product in my fridge, but it still changed color rather quickly. At almost $18 per 30ml bottle, I figured it would be too expensive to changing it just to use it to its full potential. But hey, at least it didn’t make my skin too oily! The second serum I bought to combat my dark spots is It°S SKIN - Power 10 Formula VC Effector It’s Skin actually has a ton of serums, but I chose this one because of Vitamin C’s lightening effects. It contains both vitamin C and green tea extract to lighten skin blemishes and even out the skin tone. At $10 per 30ml bottle, it’s a lot cheaper than Tiam’s. I also found it not sticky and it didn’t make my skin oily at all. Lastly, I didn’t have to refrigerate this one unlike Tiam’s, though I still kept it in my fridge just to be safe. The third and last serum is The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% If you browse through my profile, you’ll definitely see how much I love this product! I think I feature it in almost every other product roundup, haha. True to its name, it contains niacinamide and zinc. I love how effective this product is in making my skin brighter, smoother, and softer. Although it’s also a bit sticky, at least it managed to fade my dark spots and acne marks pretty well. I’m still not at a ‘glass skin’ level, but with this product, I think I’ll get there in time. So, which one is the best serum for me? If you said TO’s Niacinamide serum, then you’re absolutely right! It costs $15 per 30ml bottle, which is a good enough price considering the effects. It’s Skin’s serum would be my second choice, mainly because of its value for money. I probably won’t buy Tiam’s again, unless I’m completely out of choices. What’s your current serum? Feel free to share it with me in the comments below!

+Favorite Korean Products+
There are a lot of great korean products in the market, that benefit the skin. I personally began using korean products 3 years ago and since then I have been incorporating more korean products in my skincare regimen. Some korean products that use minimum ingredients which my skin loves; I was not able to choose my favorite korean products but, here are my top 3: I have been using COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser (purchased) for almost 6 months now. I use this cleanser every morning to wash away any impurities my skin picked up while asleep. This cleanser is gentle to my skin and it does not strip out the good oils in our skin; in fact it is very hydrating (I think my skin is greatful for this cleanser). This cleanser does not foam as much which is great for a morning cleanser and it is lightweight. This products is Cruelty-Free and vegan. I recommend this product to every skin type or if you are looking for a gentle morning cleanser. For a 5.07oz - $12 It°S SKIN - Tiger Cica Calming Serum was given to me as a gratis. I have been using this for 5 months but, I only use this when I have troubled skin. This serum contains 74% of Centella Asiatica (CICA) which has antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties. This serum moisturizes and soothes-irritated skin. The texture of this is almost water like; lightweight and fast absorbing. I use this serum after my toner or sometimes I use it right after my cleanser. I really like that my skin feels refreshed and smooth after using the serum. I recommend this serum to sensitive and acne prone skin because of the soothing CICA For a 80ml - $30 Not to long ago I purchased the Huxley - Sleep Mask; Good Night and it was the best thing I have purchased so far. This sleeping mask hydrates, soothes, and repairs dull skin. This contains prickly pear cactus extract which is full of antioxidants, vitamin E, and linoleic acid. I have been using this overnight for almost a month now and every morning I wake up my skin looks and feels glowy and replenished. I like that this a non-sticky gel formula mask and it is fast absorbent to the skin. I recommend this to all skin types and if your concern is dull skin I high recommend it. For a 4.23oz- $28

for the love of a new brand i discovered...
I recently discovered Korean brand “It’s skin” at tjmaxx & i fell in love. let me tell you a little about the brand: “It’s skin” is the first brand in South Korea to bind the concept of cosmetics with medicine. with skin care knowledge accumulated over decades, “it’s skin” presents its products for all ages & all skin types & promises the best results for beautiful silky skin that every woman dreams of.✨ sounds so dreamy! 💗 this product smells so HEAVENLY. I can’t explain it, but you will fall in love if you ever try this. the texture is a milky feel & it’s so delicious. the collagen nutrition emulsion, restores vitality & suppleness to the skin. it’s a firming emulsion, containing skin-firming collagen extract & saussurea laniceps extract, for moisturizing & cleansing care. it also contains malt extract & bearberry extract, high in various amino acids, leaving a revitalized, supple complexion. these ingredients are lovely! 😍 more on the ingredients: ✨Marine Collagen: Collagen is a resilient fiber supporting the skin’s base for a moisturized, supple, & healthy complexion. ✨Saussurea laniceps Extract: Saussurea laniceps Extract rewards the skin with excellent resilience-boosting benefits that replenish nutrients to the skin for an even & revitalized texture. ✨Malt Extract: The vitamins present in malt adds a natural glow to your skin. 🛁Favorite Masks: CLEAN!🛁
It°S SKIN - The Fresh Mask Sheet claims to include nutrition from natural ingredients and it is supposed to give nourishment to the skin as well as clear the skin. It also claims to give dull skin a natural glow. The sheet is made of cushion pulp? I don't really know what that is but it is slightly thicker that other face masks that I use but the fit was pretty good. After using the sheet, there was still a decent amount of serum left on the sheet and I feel like my pores did not feel clogged and my skin did look a bit brighter. 🔆 L'ORÉAL - PURE-CLAY Clear & Comfort Face Mask claims to clean the skin while comforting the stressed and uncomfortable skin by using ingredients such as seaweed and pure clays. The texture and consistency of this product is oh so luxurious, creamy and soft🤤. After washing off this mask, my face felt sooo soft and clear😌Some of the reddness on my skin also disappeared! This product was around $12.99 and I have been using it for so long so it is definately worth it. Between the two, The It's Skin one is definately cleaner and easier to use since you just have to remove it from the packaging and apply it to the face. It is then discared after using it and the serum can be pat into the skin. However, the L'oreal one requires me to spread it all over my face so it is a bit messier. I also have to wash it off so it is more tedious. BUT I prefer the L'Oreal one😚. I feel like it has a better formula and is more soothing and rich. Not to mention, the color and consistency is beautiful! 😍Also, since I have to wash off the L'Oreal one, I feel like it does a better job in the cleaning aspect.

Tiger Cica Gel Cream
Tiger Cica Gel Cream
This product really surprised me. I thought it was going to be suited for only summer or warmer weather, as gel creams usually are. But this one held its hydration even on the coldest days, and was capable of layering with other moisturizers and oils. It has my fave ingredient in it too! Centella asiatica aka cica. This product helped reduced redness, calmed inflammation, and smells so faintly of cica. I’m very sad this is empty. It’s $30 and lasted me a pretty long while, as it doesn’t take much to cover my whole face! I would repurchase this in the future for sure.

It’s Skin Power 10 Formula VC Eye Cream
It’s Skin Power 10 Formula VC Eye Cream
🌿It’s quite a moody day here in HTX. It has been raining all morning but honestly, it suits my mood since I am dreading tomorrow. I start work tomorrow 😭 goodbye #funemployment🌿 . #Empty! I finally finished this @itsskin power 10 formula VC eye cream. This was a good eye cream. A little bit went a long way with this. It is a very lightweight cream which is what I look for in eye creams. I am prone to milia around the eyes and noticed that anytime I use anything too thick under my eyes, milia starts to form. So I tend to gravitate towards creams that are gel/water-based and that easily absorbs into the skin without being too think. This eye cream contains vitamin c derived green tea extract that is supposed to brighten the under eye area all the while hydrating it. I didn’t notice the cream brightening but it was very hydrating. It was a perfect eye cream to use during the summer time. I got this from @cosmetic_jolse for around $9 and for the price and the amount you get, it was a great deal. You get 30ml which lasted me for almost a year. . Although this eye cream was good, I wouldn’t repurchase it since I do want to try other eye creams. This got its job done which was to moisturize the under eye area but honestly you can find other products that do just as well as this. But if you are on a budget, this is not a bad one to try. I’d rate this a 3/5 for that reason. Not a bad product, but not particularly something I would go out of my way to buy it. . What is your HG eye cream?

It’s Skin Tiger Cica Line
It’s Skin Tiger Cica Line
I love cica... and that’s no joke I know. But this line from Its Skin is insanely good. Today I’m gonna talk about my least favorite product from this line. It°S SKIN - Tiger Cica Calming Water I use this as a micellar water / toner? I couldn’t really figure out the most efficient way to use this. But it’s very watery and calming so a micellar water before toner makes the most sense. I rate this a 4/5 just because I’m not sure I need it. I’m not sure YOU need it. $24 for something I’m not sure I need? It kinda smells like fruit loops, and I’m not mad about it. I swipe this on a cotton pad and run it over my face after my double cleanse and it gets any residual makeup off! Would I repurchase? Probably not. The gel and serum are worth my time though!
