Best Products with Antioxidants
three ships - Radiance Grape Stem Cell + Squalene Day Cream a light cream texture with grape stem cell and squalane. The grape stem cell contains antioxidants called anthocyanins which absorbs UV radiation. The grape stem cell is also embryonic which means it can change into any cell needed- in this case, acting as a catalyst to new skin cell production. Gives a beautiful glow as well. If you shop on their site, you can save 20% with my code LEENA 20. fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer Another lightweight cream with Super Lotus as the antioxidant component. Super Lotus was formulated to targets the first signs of aging by supporting the skin’s barrier and protecting from free radicals. The white, large jar is a day cream, while the smaller blue jar is the night cream. Its richer in texture and smells like peaches. fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil a rich but non-sticky oil; vitamin c is a known potent antioxidant, and while acting as a gold standard for skin brightening and hyperpigmentation reduction, its also a great antioxidant to help with preventing signs of aging. KOSMETIC IMMUNITY - Luminous Skin-Defense Moisturizer This light gel-lotion contains mBeta glucan for hydration and powerful antioxidants derived from Lotus, Aloe and Bamboo, helps protect skin, defending against environmental aggressors. All of these make excellent day creams depending on your brand and/or texture preference. Would highly recommend trying any of these if you're looking for a good antioxidant product.

Biossance Vitamin C Oil
I have been loving facial oils lately but with acne prone skin it can be a struggle to find one that won’t break me out. I was excited to try this product because I had heard good reviews and it is an interesting concept! BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil 🌹 Pros: 🔸 lightweight oil that sinks into your skin quickly 🔸 smells nice 🔸 gives a non-oily looking glow to the skin Cons: ◾️ expensive at $72 for a full size (I have a trial size) ◾️ I personally broke out a ton from this ◾️ it is essentially just a fragranced squalane oil This product claims to deliver both the benefits of a vitamin C serum and an oil (as the name implies) but for vitamin C to be effective on your skin it should be applied to your face at the beginning of your routine while an oil should be applied last. I just don’t understand the concept of this product combined with the price. If you don’t break out easily you may like this, but for the price I just wouldn’t recommend it. However, I do recommend getting a facial oil (try just plain squalane oil or a rose hip oil) and also using a vitamin C serum in your routine! Purchasing those two separately instead of buying this product will save you money and give you more product! If you have tried this product or have any recommendations please let me know in the comments!

Shelfie vs Reality 🪞🤳🤔
Happy Presidents Day!! I was playing around trying to take my first ever shelfie and was struck by two things: 1) styling a shelfie is HARD!!! I am so impressed with the gorgeous, inspirational pictures you all take where a boring medicine cabinet seemingly effortlessly highlights all your best products. I think I have a ways to go. 2) this is soooooo not what my medicine cabinet looks like every day!! I took a step back once the cabinet was full of all my beautiful skincare and just laughed at how far it is from normal. Instead, all my goodies are hidden away in a cabinet. So I restored my shelves to their usual glory to avoid my husbands confusion about where on earth his toothbrush went and thought I’d share our reality. ➡️ swipe to see what the cabinet really looks like around here 🤪 Are there any products in here you want me to review? Let me know!

Is the Biossance Eye Duo Worth It?
I really struggle with my under eyes. The shape of my eyes makes them slightly wrinkled and I also have dark circles and they can get pretty puffy if I cry or don’t get enough sleep. They are also EXTREMELY sensitive. Concealer can make them sting and flake, and anything that touches them (facial moisturizer, serum, eye cream, etc.) can make them burn. Because of this it is hard to find an eye cream that doesn’t cause issues and I can’t always skip this step in my routine because I do wear concealer under my eyes and if I don’t take care of them they start to flake and it just looks awful. I found this Biossance trial size eye duo and had to test it out! I do typically think of eye cream as an expensive, glorified moisturizer unless it has active ingredients, but with my sensitivities I am willing to try them out to see if they help my issues. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream Of the two, this one is my favorite. Yes, it is essentially just a moisturizer, but I think that is what under eye skin has been needing because my facial moisturizer wasn’t cutting it. This one doesn’t cause any irritation and, once it sinks in, is good under concealer. BIOSSANCE - BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel This eye gel works well for puffiness, but I took one star off because on my sensitive days it can sting my skin a little and it also isn’t quite as hydrating as the other Biossance eye cream. It is a gel, so if hydration isn’t your main concern this would probably be great for you! I really do love both of these eye creams and highly recommend getting the trial duo if possible, but the full size products are so expensive that I just can’t justify repurchasing them for myself. If these are in your budget and your only real concerns are dryness and puffiness, then please get this! But if you are looking for a product that will make a long term difference in preventing/treating wrinkles, darkness, etc. you should try an eye cream that contains retinol. These are my suggestions for retinol eye creams listed from least to most expensive: 1️⃣ THE inkey LIST - Retinol Eye Cream 2️⃣ GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask 3️⃣ FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid If you have tried these products or have any recommendations please let me know in the comments!

biossance: one of my favorite brands ever
biossance is a brand that has never disappointed me. i’ve tried most of their products, so I was thrilled when they gifted me this set with some of my faves. the BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum gives honeymoon glow a run for its money. I find it’s slightly gentler on my skin than honeymoon glow (which stings me slightly) and it eradicates texture and tiny, skin-colored bumps that aren’t acne but are still unpleasant to deal with! It’s a lightweight lotion texture that spreads very easily and absorbs well. I can’t say enough good things about this. the BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream is suuuuper thick and creamy in the best way. Truthfully I don’t notice much firming, which it claims to, but it feels amazing and definitely helps with dryness. the BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Omega Repair Cream is amazing to mix with my tretinoin prescription to cut down on dryness. It’s such a luxurious, thick texture, and I could massage it into my face forever. Long story short, there are less expensive alternatives to these, but the formulas feel luxe and that makes them worth it as a treat yourself item, in my opinion. I also adore their branding and the fact that they release new products very slowly, focusing on quality over quantity.

How I Built an Entire Routine for Under $150
For a long time I was intimated by skincare because it seemed very expensive and overwhelming. How do I know what to buy 🤷🏻‍♀️ When I started noticing wrinkles that was enough of a push for me to invest in skincare. Here’s some great lessons I’ve learned to build your skincare routine affordably: 1. Research to figure out what you need- here’s where my love of @cheriestarted! I read lots of reviews, advice, so I knew what type of products I should buy and what ingredients I should focus on. 2. Keep it Simple It’s easy to want to buy new products, adding new steps or ingredients to your routine, or try out the hype after reading reviews! Focus on your concerns and add slowly to give your skin time to adjust and see what’s working. It’s better to have a few great products that you love than many products you don’t use. I started with: Cleanse AM antioxidant serum, PM anti-aging serum Moisturizer Sunscreen Toners, eye cream, facial oil, and masks can be extras if you are looking to save money 3. Spend your money on the middle - if you can only splurge on one product make it the serum! This has the most benefit. Drugstore cleansers, moisturizers, and spf are great! 4. Try some great affordable brands such as The Ordinary, The Inkey List, Versed, or CeraVe 5. Buy trial size first, Value Sets or better free rewards before investing in a new product 6. Once you’ve found your Holy Grails keep your eyes open for sales to stock up, join the brands mailing list or reward program, buy value size Here’s my current skincare line-up and how much it cost me: CLINIQUE - Jumbo Liquid Facial Soap Mild Use AM & PM Bought on sale for $27 for 13.5oz CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Use PM Free from Clinique rewards pixi - Glow Tonic pixi - Milky Tonic Rotate PM Bought multi-pack on sale for $22 OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème Use AM and / or PM Bought on sale $25 The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Use AM $6.80 VERSED - STROKE OF BRILLIANCE Brightening Serum Use AM $26.99 OLAY - Wrinkle Correction Serum with Vitamin B3+ Collagen Peptides Use PM Bought on sale for $32 BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum Use PM 1-2 times per week Free from Sephora Rewards Bazaar CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator Use AM & PM Free gift with purchase from Clinique CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Instant Brightening Moisturizer Use PM when not using lactic acid Free offer with purchase from Sephora The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil Use PM $9.90 (Not pictured) currently using my kids Banana Boat Kids Simply Protect SPF 50 as my sunscreen

AM Routine to Hydrate + Reset Skin
Ive had more irritated skin that usual these days so I’ve been reaching for these products in the mornings to soothe my skin and give gentle hydration. They’re helping get my skin back on track. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Cleansing Gel I got the mini tea tree set from Biossance and it has been a game changer on days when my skin is acting up. This gel cleanser gently foams, smells amazing, and really helps when I’m starting to get acne (usually just right before my period but more these days because of maskne!) Id love a travel size as I really only use this as needed a few times a month but if I were more acne prone it would be a staple Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence I love this stuff! Probably not strictly necessary but the watery texture feels great and I find it helps other products, like my superfood serum sink in better BIOSSANCE - BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Hydrate + Firm Peptide Eye Cream I have a lot of eye cream in my stash right now so I’ve been going crazy and using the Biossance eye gel under something richer. I like that this lets me target circles and then also intense hydration! YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Firm and Brighten Vitamin C Serum this is a great all-around serum for hydration, firming, and brightness. It’s best when used on a wet face since the HA really sucks up a lot of moisture. This serum is super gentle so I like using it when I don’t want a very active routine and want to hydrate. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi this baby is a staple for me! I typically use it at night year round, but this month I’ve been reaching for it in the morning too since the winter weather has made me much drier. This is so hydrating but lightweight and really soothing on the skin! BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Balancing Oil like the tea tree cleanser, I only use this a few times a month as needed. It does an amazing job helping to clear out oncoming breakouts. It’s lightweight, sinks in fast, and I love the tea tree smell! I’d love a .3oz size of this since I do use it so infrequently this little sample has lasted me a few months so don’t think I could ever justify buying a full bottle Hope you enjoy my routine! Let me know if you want more info on any of these products 💚

My Favorite Face Oils
I always steered clear of moisturizer because I had very oily skin. I would have never even thought to no less put oil on my face but here I am every morning and night slathering my face with oil. Sometimes we can over produce oil because our skin is dehydrated and some people are just pre disposed to being oily. One product that has helped me get my oil under control in NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% and I also started adding retinol to my nighttime skin care routine. I don't feel like my face is dry very often but I did start to feel like it needed something more than my moisturizer. So I started adding oils to the last step of my routines and I loved the results. My skin looked so healthy and bright. Oils can do more than hydrate they have other benefits!!! NATURIUM - Vitamin C Face Oil I use this oil in the morning because I already use a lot of active ingredients in the morning but I still want the even skin tone and brightening effects. NATURIUM - Virgin Marula Face Oil 100% I use this oil at end of my baby facial routine and if my skin is starting to feel a little dry, it's the most hydrating of all the oils listed. Marula oil can also smooth skin, sooth redness and strengthen the skin barrier. NATURIUM - Plant Squalane Face Oil 100% I use this oil all the time!!! I have used this oil in place of the oils listed above. Morning, night after treatments you name it it's good for it. This is good for people who are oily, acne prone or who have combination skin because our bodies produce Squalene with a E, Squalane with an A is a refined version of Squalene because apparently it's very unstable product-poor shelf life. Squalane doesn't feel heavy in my skin just gives me that added hydration. It also helps to protect against environmental aggressors such as UV rays and pollution. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Balancing Oil I love this product because it's a 2:1. Squalane with the added tea tree oil. I get the hydration and the acne fighter. Tea tree oil is knows to be an antibacterial so it helps fight skin imperfections. I typically use this at night. Last but not least Rose Hip seed oil, I bought this on off Amazon. What doesn't this oil do?? It brightens, firms, exfoliates, you can put it in your hair and even treats wrinkles. In my opinion its heavier than the Squalane oil but lighter than the Marula oil. This is my newest addition so I have been alternating this in the morning with the vitamin C oil. I have also bought a larger bottle and use it all over my body after the shower. I don't really like the smell but I typically shower at night so it fades by the morning. My skin definitely has a nice glow but I think I need some more time to see if it evens out my skin tone. What's your favorite face and body oils?!

Sensitive/oily acne-prone skin journey
I recently turned 40, and about a year ago I started working on helping my aging acne-prone skin. I really improved using sunscreen and started using treatments like retinol. Have had some red irritated skin, when I’m not careful but slowly improving. GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm Started double cleansing at night, love the texture and it doesn’t break me out! KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser So gentle yet perfect cleanser for me. INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner This is a Holy Grail moisturizing toner! Hydrates and is so gentle! EMINENCE - Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum Moisturizes and helps breakouts. EMINENCE - Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer So moisturizing and calming. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ First sunscreen I’ve found that didn’t break me out or irritate my skin. Rotating Treatments PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator Helps my acne prone skin but doesn’t irritate. Using a couple times a week. Marie Veronique Gentle Retinol Night serum- Love this! Expensive but I haven’t found a dupe yet. ACNE FREE - Adapalene Gel USP 15G I use this once a week but have to be super careful. facetheory - PoreBright Serum N10 Helps oiliness and brightens skin. THE inkey LIST - 15% Vitamin C and EGF Fist vitamin C serum that didn’t irritate my skin or break me out.

Birthday haulll!! 😁✨
So because of quarantine, a bulk of my birthday was indulging - books, skincare, craft supplies.. The works.. And I wanted to share my skincare haul with you all! I prefer trying a product out before buying the full size so my skincare indulgences are typically mini-sized. I got the ones I've been wanting to try for a while now! And I'm excited to start a whole new routine next week! 🥳 I got the following products and I'll be basically just replacing them in my usual routine. #Sweet Chef - Discovery Kit[products]# Which has their Vit A, B, C serums, their superfood moisturizer and their Vit C mask. I've heard great reviews about their A and C serums and I'm excited to try them! BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ I've been wanting to try Biossance products one by one for a while and I wanted to start with the SPF since it's one of the products I'm always buying and use everyday. First two days, I notice it makes my skin a bit oily/sticky which I don't enjoy - but it has absolutely no white cast and so I'll use it for a few weeks before giving a final review. FARMACY - The Beehive: Best-Sellers for Glowing Skin I've been dying to try our their honeymoon glow and the beehive seemed like a good way to try it out the mini. I'm most excited for this one!! And finally, I bought a bunch of sheet masks from Nature Republic. I used the Aha/bha and hyaluronic acid mask already. Aha/bha mask is decent, takes time to absorb and has no drastic difference after one use. But again,I believe sheet masks are more of a spa time item and the only real difference a sheet mask can make is in hydration. And the hyaluronic acid mask was pretty good. Idk if I'll buy them again though. I'd rather get the Sephora sheet masks. NATURE REPUBLIC - Real Comforting Mask Sheet Hyaluronic Acid NATURE REPUBLIC - Real Comforting Mask Sheet [Aha/Bha] NATURE REPUBLIC - REAL COMFORTING MASK SHEET [VITAMIN C] NATURE REPUBLIC - Real Comforting Mask Sheet Ceramide To quickly summarize how I plan to use these products: - According to sweet chef, their vitamin B can be mixed with their other serums to that's what I plan to do. - Vit C, SPF in the mornings, Vit A and moisturizer in the evenings. I plan to use Honeymoon glow instead of Ordinary peel once a week. Cheers! 🥂

1 month + on Paulas Choice Results
It’s been almost 2 months on Paulas choice and I’ve seen tremendous change on my skin! I’ve been using the same products in my last post consistently since I started, no change to diet or water intake if anything thanks to COVID I’ve gained more than a few pounds and indulged in eating some trashy foods. 😂 With that being said I do have hormonal acne usually a week before my menstrual cycle starts I break out with painful red acne on my chin area, jaw line, neck, and cheek bones BUT i do have to give major thanks to this one product that has made a huge difference in my skin out of all the products I’ve used especially during this outbreak PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C Around the time my menstrual cycle starts I switch out my whole night time routine for retinol use every night so I do not develop any painful acne, I use a gentle cleanser beforehand and use a gel moisturizer afterwards to keep my skin hydrated. I will be leaving updated reviews for each item I used in my last post and see what I will be repurchasing. Also please feel free to let me know what worked for you! I would love to try new brands and products. CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30 BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator

AM ROUTINE - fall 2020
STEP 1 - CLEANSE YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Admittedly, I drank the kool-aid and bought this in the midst of a Hyram binge, but I get why people like this. It's non-stripping and has vitamins, which is semi-pointless but a nice added bonus for AM cleanse. The herbal, green juice-like fragrance is the best part; a total gimmick but i'm into it. Very nice, but not $36/bottle nice. STEP 2 - TONE PAULA'S CHOICE - RESIST Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner This niacinimide toner has it all - hyaluronic acid, peptides, reservatrol, willow bark, licorice root, and more. Watery texture, super soothing, plays well with any actives, a true unsung hero of Paula’s Choice! Perfect for daily use. STEP 3 - ESSENCE COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence Bought this because I had seen snail mucin everywhere, but didn't really get it. After using this for a couple of months... I still don't get it. Too goopy for an essence, will only apply smoothly on a very damp face. Acceptable as base hydration right before serum, but one pump too many is too sticky to apply anything on top. Just replaced with NATURIUM - Alpha Arbutin Essence 1%! STEP 4 - SERUM VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules These are just as fun to open as they look! Ingredient list is tiny; 10% l-ascorbic + peptides and their mineral water. Texture is a huge plus: thin & watery, doesn’t slip off, absorbs quickly. Absolutely no stickiness, even if you have a heavy hand like me. Love the oxidation-safe packaging - they say there are two uses per ampoule, but I get three every time. ———————————— GHOST DEMOCRACY - Floodgate Hyaluronic Acid Serum This hyaluronic acid/niacinimide serum is a great formulation, non-irritating, and affordable. Texture was the only drawback; I found it sticky at times and hard to layer over, so it’s my last step before moisturizing which is fine. If you want a serum that you can use day and night, addresses multiple issues and will play well with other actives, this is it. STEP 5 - MOISTURIZE BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer I have never loved a moisturizer quite like this. Lightweight enough to use on my t-zone, but provides enough moisture to patches that can get extremely dry. Any stickiness from serums is gone afterwards. Beautiful soft gel texture; makes my skin feel super balanced. STEP 6 - SPF PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ The internet cannot shut up about this stuff, and I was pretty skeptical of how nice a sunscreen could actually be. Then I put it on and I am changed! No white cast whatsoever, applies unbelievably smooth without that slippery velvety dimethicone texture. Glycerin, hyaluronic acid, niacinimide, and centella asiatica make me excited to reapply; feels like a mid-day vitamin shot.

Do you double cleanse?
When you start your journey in skin care there will be a lot of people who would warn you to not do too much and remain on the safe side by doing as little as possible, but trust me it isn’t a thing like doing too much when it comes to Double cleanse. I have oily skin and anyone with any skin type should try double cleanse. Just to improve their skin, here’s why The benefit of double cleansing is that the first cleanser will break down any makeup, remove dirt and excess oils from the day and clean your skin. The second cleanser will address your particular skin type or concern and should have ingredients to hydrate, smooth or exfoliate and treat acne.  I have recently added a new oil cleanser to my routine and I’m still not over how much I adore this, and honestly I have been on the double cleanse routine every single day. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil An antioxidant-rich, cleansing oil that gently removes long-wear makeup and leaves skin with a beautiful, healthy look and feel Non oily Non greasy completely safe for oily acne prone skin. The lightweight oil lifts away makeup in a fraction of seconds and lifts up impurities, then rinses completely clean with water. Formulated with our sugarcane-derived, sustainable squalane oil, it helps keep skin hydrated and feeling fresh. (May sting if inside the eye) BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Cleansing Gel refreshing cleansing gel made with tea tree to deeply purify pores, absolutely addictive cleanser help balance skin and reduce excess surface oil. This cleansing gel removes makeup residue while leaving skin healthy-looking and visibly clearer. Absolutely a must try duo especially for oily irritated skin that’s prone to breakouts! 💚 I haven’t ever regretted buying Biossance because I’m amazed with how gorgeous Squalene has turned out my skin. Will keep repurchasing. @cherie

My January 2021 empties
Looks like I emptied many of the cleansing products. Star of the month goes to: Bronze - BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream likely to repurchase when finished other eye cream inventories. This is somewhat rich eye cream and glide on easily. Silver - FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm got silver just because it has attracted everyone’s attention. I still have one big jar to go then will try something else after. Gold - DHC - DHC Lip Cream this is something I can’t live without and will never trade for anything else. Will definitely keep repurchasing!

Ingredients to Build your Routine Around
I am 35 years old with two kids. I have dry / normal skin. My top concerns are fine lines & wrinkles, preventing aging, dullness, and dark circles. When I started my skincare routine, all I knew was that I started to notice fine lines & wrinkles and wanted to buy new products for “anti-aging”. After a lot of research, here are my Top 5 Ingredients with proven benefits for 30s Skin: 1. Retinol Retinol is a powerhouse for wrinkles. It is a synthetic derivative of Vitamin A. It alters the behaviour of aged skin cells. It smooths skin texture, enhances radiance and treats aging. Retinol can be irritating to skin, so build up your tolerance gradually starting with a lower percentage and only 1-2 days per week. DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream Murad - Ready, Radiant, Retinol SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 0.3 SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Sleeping Night Oil If you need an alternative to retinol because you have sensitive skin or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, bakuchiol is a good plant-based all natural alternative to retinol or rosehip oil is high in Vitamin A. HERBIVORE - Bakuchiol Anti-Aging Serum BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil 2. Vitamin C A potent antioxidant that helps reduce skin inflammation, irregular pigmentation, and promotes healthier collagen production. It neutralizes free radical damage and great for AM routine. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Time to Wake Up Duo SUNDAY RILEY - CEO 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum VERSED - STROKE OF BRILLIANCE Brightening Serum 3. Exfoliate / AHAs Exfoliation is about boosting cell turnover. You should do it twice a week. Use different acids like lactic acid and glycolic acid. Build up a tolerance. You can use toners, serums, or creams. Kate Somerville - Liquid ExfoliKate Triple Acid Resurfacing Treatment SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum 4. Peptides Peptides preserve and boost collagen production. Peptides are short chain amino acids that act as building blocks for proteins such as collagen. It improves the appearance of firmness and wrinkles. Extensive research supports that peptides improve skin function and appearance. The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' OLAY - Wrinkle Correction Serum with Vitamin B3+ Collagen Peptides PAULA'S CHOICE - Peptide Booster 5. Hydration In your 30s your skin tends to get dehydrated. Hydration will plump up skin. Add a hydrating toner, facial spray, hyaluronic acid serum. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 **BONUS** SPF Never forget you sunscreen ☀️

Ranking My Lip Balms
Starting with my least favorite: The BIOSSANCE - Squalane+ Rose Vegan Lip Balm is a rose scented vegan lip balm that contains squalane and hyaluronic acid. What I love about it: obviously the packaging is gorgeous and the subtle rose scent is perfect, not overpowering and fades after a few minutes. It also feels pretty slippery and moisturizing on the lips upon application, HOWEVER, the product and the moisturizing feeling fades very quickly and it never fails that my lips feel more dehydrated than before using this product! Definitely not worth the 18$ price tag. The BITE - Agave+ Intensive Vegan Lip Mask is a much better option for a hydrating lip balm. This formula is thick going on but once it warms up a bit on the lip, it feels so smooth and luxurious. This hydrates and moisturizes SO well. I live in Wisconsin and if there’s anything us northerners know about, it’s dry skin. Especially dry lips. This product has warded off my usual dry cracked lips during the winter months! I leave this next to my bed and use it as a sleeping mask. In the morning my lips are smooth, hydrated and prepped for whatever lip products I put on for the day!! And lastly, HURRAW! - Night Treatment Balm, Blue Chamomile Vanilla is my ONLY chapstick I use. I finally found THE ONE. I’ve never been into waxy formulas like Burts Bees which I know a lot of people like. This formula is packed with extremely moisturizing oils like avocado oil and Aegean oil- as well as rose hip oil which has regenerative properties. I purchase this from Follain- I’m not sure of other online retailers for this other than the actual Hurraw website!! 100% recommend!! What are your favorite hydrating lip products??

✨Current morning routine ☀️✨
This is my fall/winter skin routine, it’s not as moisturizing as a lot of others people’s routines (but I’m indoors a lot more so my biggest concern is dry air versus cold dry air, and maskne) THE inkey LIST - Polyglutamic Acid Hydrating Serum Recently, I learned of the benefits of polyglutamic acid and figured why not try it out. Apart from the strong chemical smell. I love the foundation it creates for my face, leaving it ever so slight tacky making it much easier to add on other products without that built up feeling. It’s been a couple months and I have noticed a different in the softness of my face and just so you know, it’s perfectly fine to use with hyaluronic acid! COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence After my foundation, I go on to add the revered snail mucin, no need to rave about this. You must already know if you’re here haha. THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) Blemish + Blackhead Serum My newest holy grail. It has reduced the appearance of the clogged pores on my nose. And let me tell you I have so many of them. From blackheads to keratin plugs. I totally believe everyone should have a bha serum of any sort in their routine! PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I go over all of the previous products with 2 of my favorite niacinamide products, niacinamide helps with a multitude of ailments, from hyperpigmentation/scarring to pore care. It’s definitely helped with certain areas of my face. THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream I know the cream isn’t going to stay put only on my eye area and usually I avoid eye creams all together but recently I have been interested in trying out different eye creams, I do enjoy this one. Although I have not really seem much of a difference in the way my eyes look haha THE BETTER SKIN CO. - Better Skin Mirakle Cream To seal it all in, a good fragrance free moisturizer.

i wanted to like this SO much.
i wanted to like this SO much. i’m a big fan of biossance and lactic acid, so this seemed like a dream. buuuuut the BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum just didn’t do anything good for me. i have used lactic acids before and have never had a rough reaction, but this caused my skin to really freak out. i broke out and i woke up with red patches literally all over my face. it hadnt burned when i put it on, nor did it burn or feel irritated when i went to sleep but in the morning it was a weird little nightmare. this product claims to exfoliate, boost the skins renewal process, and help to restore your complexion. i’m sure it has helped some people, but this just was not for me. it’s $62 for 1.01 oz, and i wish that i could recommend this, but i really cant :/

Biossance Squalane + Probiotic
Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer. Y’all know how I feel about a good gel moisturizer 😍. I’m loving this one too. It has a lovely texture and feeling on the . It has the light you expect from a gel, with just a little more chutzpah then you might have had with other gel products like the Clinique moisture surge concentrate or the Tarte drink of H2O. I’m not 100% sure I buy the concept of probiotics in care, but I can say that I believe this has been helping heal up some P.I.E. I’m about half way th this and still on the fence about if I’ll buy the full size - $64 CAD for 50ml is more than I would usually spend.
