My Hair Wash routine!
I have color treated, fine, and straight hair! I normally only wash my hair twice a week. One of my biggest issues is fallout when washing my hair. I have introduced some new products and techniques to help reduce the fallout in the shower (I don’t have much hair so I am trying to reduce shedding and gain more volume in the long run). I just recently got the AQUIS - 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash So far, so good. No real opinion on it yet, but the logic behind the product makes a lot of sense. It prepares your hair for washing. Washing your hair actually causes a lot of damage, so I am trying to prevent it. I don’t use this every time I wash but maybe twice a month (it is really expensive) OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector but I have been using this consistently for almost 9 months and I like it a lot. My hair feels stronger but it is still fine, still implementing products to help build strength. I liked No 3 so much I decided to try OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and OLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner I’ve only used them twice but so far so good. The amount of fallout compared to what I had before is dramatically different! Here’s to hoping this helps me in the long run. I always use a hair mask to finish my shower routine. Lately I’ve been using amika: - Soulfood Nourishing Mask I use a wide tooth comb and brush out my hair to get tangled loose and prepare for rinsing/styling? Etc. I love this hair mask, so so good!!! Lastly I use the AQUIS - Lisse Luxe Hair Towel Cloudy Berry This helps soak up excess water and is not harsh on my hair at all (cotton towels often times cause breakage and frizziness in hair). Hope you got some takeaways from my hair wash routine! If you have specific questions, just ask 😘

Lifestyle 🤸🏻‍♀️
I try to eat as healthy as possible and stay away from products with refined flours, sugars and unhealthy snacks and eat as much as I can of water or tea a day. When I have time I go for a walk or jump the rope for 30 minutes. To improve intestinal health, I took a shot of coconut kefir in the morning and at night. Regarding beauty products, as I mentioned in another post, my beauty routine is based on retinol that is not from a clean brand. However, I did combine retinol with clean oils occasionally, depending on whether I need a little more hydration (Emerald) or oil control (Lapis). I try to check labels and I prefer products that have less ingredients, both food and beauty products.

Good hair day!
FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Pre-wash Hair Treatment Oil used this overnight to help my scalp and thirsty ends. Love this! Smells good unlike some Ayurvedic hair oils. Plus when I rinsed it out the next morning my hair felt soft and was easier to detangle. FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Cleansing Shampoo I have been searching for a good shampoo and conditioner for awhile. I have even tried some of those online quizzes where they make a custom shampoo and conditioner. But none of them have really passed the test until I tried this shampoo. It has enough moisture and slip to easily detangle my fine wavy hair but it’s not too heavy either. FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Nourishing Conditioner Love this conditioner! Holy Grail product! My hair is really damaged when I bleached it to try to go purple. 😓 I have really dry ends and no conditioners I have tried have had the moisture and slip I was looking for. Until this one! Not only can I detangling my hair in the shower a lot easier my hair detangler even after I rinsed it out and it’s almost dry. I did mix it with THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment for the first time and I like it even more. FABLE&MANE - HoliRoots Repairing Hair Mask Used it after the conditioner to moisturize my dry, damaged hair. There’s nothing I don’t love about this product. Love the smell love how it feels on my hair and love how my hair feels after. Rinsed out and had mega wavy definition after squishing some of the THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment in my hair I went in with the THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Brightening Hair Treatment to protect and help with my damaged hair. Both of these products helped so I had no frizz and was getting a lot of wave definition so I decided not to go in with any gel. Put it up in an AQUIS - Lisse Luxe Desert Rose Hair Wrap for twenty minutes dyson - Supersonic Hair Dryer defuse my hair and ended up with really good looking waves. At least for me because this is the first time in four months I have like my hair enough to not to braid it to help give it more wave.

Aquis leave in conditioner
I don’t have much experience with leave in conditioners, minus the ones I had to use every day as a kid bc my hair was so long and thick. I was really excited to get this AQUIS - Prime Restorative Leave-In Conditioner in the mail as a gift and I’m surprised at how big the bottle is! It’s only $26 and I think it’s gonna last me at least a year. I use this 3-5 times a week or whenever I wash my hair! Claims — seals in moisture — weightless/not heavy — natural pH — reduce frizz and tangles Key ingredients — keratin amino acids — aloe extract — kelp extract My thoughts: — fairly watery, doesn’t weigh down my hair — nice scent, very light and doesn’t linger — leaves my hair soft and frizz free! — bottle is big and kind of hard to hold — spray is very fine and easy to dispense

Aquis Hair is absolutely genius. I know I never ever stop talking about them and their hair towels but they just came out with a 4 step system to really keep your hair strong. It includes a (1) water defense pre-wash spray, (2) rebalancing hair wash, (3) the infamous towel and (4) restorative leave-in conditioner. after one wash with these there was no frizz after my hair dried. Also, ditching conditioner is something I never thought I could do because my ends get really dry. The leave-in conditioner from Aquis Hair is enough to replace my traditional in-shower conditioner and still keep my ends happy. Aquis Hairalways keeping my hair looking and feeling amazing . they’ve been one of my favorite brands! I’ll never stop recommending that everyone try them out 👍🏼 -Dax

These are some of my bathroom
These are some of my bathroom essentials I just finished the AQUIS water defense pre-wash which is part of their Prime system. I ended up using this more quickly than I intended to since I have a ton of hair. It took a lot of product to cover everything for me even though it sprays out a lot 😞 I really like it though and it helps a lot with maintaining undamaged hair, especially in conjunction with their hair towels. I haven’t used a lot of the leave in conditioner yet mainly because I get lazy sometimes lol but I will be picking it back up again! What are your essentials? -Dax ❤️

01 Prime Water Defense PreWash
AQUIS-01 Prime Water Defense PreWash
Introducing the hair product y
Introducing the hair product you never knew you needed…the 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash from Aquis! Aquis products are designed to minimize hygral fatigue: the stretching and swelling of hair when it's wet that makes it prone to damage, breakage, and frizz. With a clean formula that works with hair's natural pH balance and biome, Prime Water Defense PreWash can be used alone or as the first step in the four-step Aquis Prime Hair system. Star ingredients include coconut oil, cysteine, keratin, avocado oil, aloe extract, panthenol, and niacin. Now let me tell you, this product is a game-changer! My hair is incredibly soft feeling, I noticed it is not as oily in between washes and so much more shine. I love how it made my hair smooth, less fuzzy and easy to manage. It’s also a HUGE bottle at 12 oz for $29 which is very reasonable and I know will last a long time! AQUIS - 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash

I’m sorry I just don’t understand the cult following this product has. I’m going to rate it 4 stars because it’s a nice product that smells good and it’s a cute idea but I can’t fully get on board with the need to coat your hair in a liquid before it gets wet. Maybe someone can explain it to me? AQUIS - 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash
