Sorbet Eyeshadow + Perky Natural Mascara Tips 😃
I never knew I would love a minty green with an almost creamy orange shade!
This look was so fun to do because I got to test and challenge my eyeshadow mixing capabilities! Not all shades mix well together, so this turned out awesome!
I used VISEART - Grande Pro 3 for this look!
Also, for those of you who have thin straight lashes, I highly recommended using Japanese based mascara brands for that perfect your lash-but-better look! I did use one called DUP Fiber Mascara for this photo. Japanese mascaras are typically known for having two types of formulations- “tubing” and “non-tubing” mascaras. Tubing-type formulations are great because it automatically provides a water/sebum resistant barrier around your lashes. This formulation makes sense for the marketed demographics, because in Japan the weather is more moist/humid. Therefore, for a formula to be successful, it has to withstand the weather conditions where the target market lies. Yay for no smudging/flaking! It’s a lightweight formula which is perfect for keeping those stubborn, straight lashes up and perky! Every time I use it, I don’t end up with a clumpy mess and my lashes aren’t brittle and dry from prolonged use! I’ve tested it out for 3+ months and have no complaints so far!

This is BY FAR one of my favorite holiday eyelooks I’ve done!

Viseart has my heart
My growing 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 collection:
1. The Avignon is probably my favorite cool toned palette in my collection. Cooler tones don’t look great on my very warm toned skin. Many cool toned palettes turn muddy on me or look bruised. These shades somehow work, and I can still create effortless and beautiful looks. The duochromes in this are gorgeous! I’m so glad I was able to grab this.
2. The Warm Edit I bought after my experience with the Dark Edit. It is pretty standard in terms of the warm shades included but this is the type of staple palette that I use day to day. I use could not resist these shades, and I plan on pairing it and mixing it up with the Dark Edit.
3. The Dark Edit was my first @viseart palette. It exceeded every expectation, given its small size. Every shade worked on my skin tone and I was able to create a wide range of looks for most occasions. I am still in love.
4. The Petite Pro in Apricotine feeds my love for soft, bronze tones. I thought this palette would be ashy on my skin tone, but it is not. I can get such easy and beautiful looks from this. I love the small size and versatility.
5. Theory Palette in Siren was kind of an impulse buy. The shades are gorgeous, and the shimmers are true Viseart quality. I enjoy the shimmers in this more than the mattes, two of the mattes don’t quite work for me. I am still able to use them as transition shades but I would’ve preferred one of the lighter mattes to have been a darker shade. It is still a beauty and I’m glad I have it!
I purchased these palettes.

Viseart Palettes
Viseart has been on my radar for quite some time as I know their formula is very good, pigmented and long lasting. Swipe left to see the palettes, 12 Pan Shades in 01 Neutral, respectively Theory Palette II in Minx (perfect for short travels).🥰 The colours are right up my alley, for this particular look, used the top and middle shades using extremely light strokes to create a natural and effortless look. Hardly any fallout, minimalistic packaging for practicability, but very sturdy plastic. All shades are matte, whereas the Theory palette has 3 matte and 3 shimmer shades.
In terms of price, the 01 Neutral retails for £69 consists of 12 shades x 2 grams each (24 gr), whereas Theory II Minx Palette is £35 for 12 gr. I do realise these are pricey, but you can often get them on offer here, which is what I do in general 🙈🙈. I will be playing soon with the Theory Palette too, cannot wait. ❤️

My Current Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes!
I have probably hundreds of eyeshadow palettes so a palette has to really “wow” me to use it on a regular basis. I’ve gotten better about wasting money on products that I’m not going to get a lot of use out of, but palettes have always been my weakness. These six palettes are my top 6 for 2020!
First off, #6 goes to my VISEART - Solstice Petit Pro Eyeshadow Palette I absolutely love the Petit Pro series, and this little beauty is a perfect addition to my Apricotine palette from last year. Viseart shadows have been my favorite ever since I bought my first palette from them, and I get more use out of their palettes than any other brand!
My #5 would have to be the NATASHA DENONA - Bronze Eyeshadow Palette I am obsessed with it’s gorgeous bronzey color story, and the metallic sun this beauty are beyond stunning. My only. complaint is that I wish it had more matte shades, but I’ve learned to work with the few that it has. This was definitely my most-used palette this past summer!
My #4 palette would have to be my Too Faced - Born This Way The Natural Nudes Eyeshadow Palette When I saw the first promo photos I wasn’t really a fan of the layout, but once I bought it and started using it I totally fell in love. The layout actually makes it super easy to create a quick look and I love that it has such an even mixture of mattes and shimmers. The color story is gorgeous and I think the quality of the shadows is incredible compared to some of their other palettes. It’s most definitely my favorite Too Faced palette of all time.
My #3 palette is my VISEART - Midsommer Petit Pro Eyeshadow Palette I love cool tones so much, especially pinky cool tones, so this little beauty is a dream. The color story is so beautiful and I love how travel friendly the Viseart Petit Pro and Edit palettes are! I can’t wait to see what other additions they have in store for both series.
My #2 palette is my NATASHA DENONA - Glam Eyeshadow Palette Once again, I am obsessed with my cool tones and this beauty has the prettiest gray toned cool shadows ever! The metallic shades are absolutely stunning, and I love using this palette to create a cool smokey eye. I haven’t been able to put it down since I picked it up. I’m also blown away with the quality of every shade.
Last, but most definitely not least, my #1 eyeshadow palette is my VISEART - Paris EDIT Eye Shadow Palette I could use this palette for the rest of my life and be fine. This palette has the prettiest variety of shadows, and the shimmer and metallic shades are beyond breathtaking. The blue shade on the bottom left hand corner is probably my all-time favorite shadow. I love using it to add depth to my outer V when I create an eye look and the lighter shimmers open up my eyes in the most beautiful way. It’s such a beautiful palette!

Sometimes you love mascara but it betrays you!!!
VISEART - Midsommer Petit Pro Eyeshadow Palette I really like this little palette. I plan to buy more from this brand but even with the fallout because I forgot to use primer, the shadows were soft and easy to work with. They had great intensity and built well. Even the mattes had a nice flair.
WANDER BEAUTY - Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara I hated this mascara intensely. Intensely. Thank heavens I got it free in my Allure Beauty Box though I am considering suing them for emotional damages. Best of Beauty my eyebrows that haven’t haven’t been waxed in 4 weeks. What is the point of a gentle mascara? No! Mother Pat understands that the point of mascara is to enhance lashes not to give me the lashes of a schoolgirl or boy in a BBC period piece set in 1923 London.
I want Freddie Mercury lashes. I want Angelina Jolie on a red carpet lashes. I do not want to spend 24 dollars to have lashes so that three coats of mascara means you can see my lashes with a microscope. I have already reordered my beloved Mile High Mascara for days when Dark Star is a leetle too much. Okay, I have a lot of feelings about mascara.
bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Opal. I think I want something for the winter with a bit more coverage and am pretty sure I am going with UOMA because it truly does feel like I am wearing nothing. It was humid in the house though and I had the worst time getting the tinted moisturizer to set.
tarte - Shape Tape Concealer This did a pretty good job reducing the appearance of a huge blemish but the shade is NOT right (12N). I think I need to go one shade deeper if people who burn after 20 minutes in the sun can be described, in any way, as ‘deeper’.
Beauty Bakerie - Face Flour Baking Powder in Oat. This continues to be a Holy Grail product for me. It is perfectly mattifying. Plus no fragrance!
PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Rosé All Day Petal Glow in Petal Pink. This was a little bronzier than I was expecting and way more glowy. Next time I will wear it with a gloss. I think the application processes will be a learning curve.
ILIA - Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil in Tahiti. A Holy Grail product that needs two coats and I forgot to put on one. Oh well. We can’t all be pro makeup artistes!
I have been sick for about a week and I can’t express how glad I am to be back! I missed you all!!!

Make up and hair haul
This is my second online purchase as of recent. I decided to go a little luxe. Here’s what I got and why!
dyson - Airwrap Complete Styler-For Multiple Hair Types and Styles
I purchased this after using a friends. I love how it’s a multipurpose tool. I can dry my hair like normal, I can curl my hair or I can even get my hair straight. I went ahead and decided that since it’s so many things in one and that it will last some time I could justify the price.
VISEART - Petite Pro 4 Apricotine
I purchased this because it honestly is just so pretty. It’s a perfect neutral that can go day or night. It’s perfect for travel!
DIOR - Airflash Spray Foundation
I work in the beauty industry and I hear so many great things about this foundation. I decided it’s time to just get it. I hope to do an update soon with my opinion on this.
dermalogica - Special Cleansing Gel
I purchased the mini cleansing gel so I can de some at home peels while working from home. I have so many dermalogica professional products that I want to take advantage of and use them. If there are other esthetician here that want to know what peel I’m doing I’ll make a post!
NATASHA DENONA - Diamond & Blush Palette
This is a beautiful product. I have yet to use it but in the pan it just glows. It was on sale too!
My samples (that I didn’t choose)
CHANEL - GABRIELLE CHANEL Eau de Parfum
VIKTOR&ROLF - Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum

I’ve been playing around with different copper and color combinations, and this has been a fun one to try! I also tried out doing a halo eye and I’m not sure that worked how I wanted, but I’m definitely going to keep working on this combo!

VISEART Aperol Spritz Eyeshadow Palette——an intoxicating orange cocktail🍹
The packaging is bright & vibrant orange while painting a lot of small bubbles. It has 12 shades, and comes with a mirror, which is convenient for travel!
As a new member of the VISEART family, it cost me $39 on the official website the other day. AND I have to say it's worth it. The overall texture is similar to Natasha Denona’s, with the matte colors are really smooth and the shimmer colors are extensibility & high saturation.
The four colors in the first row are pretty suitable for base & edge🤩. Considering it all together, I will choose this eyeshadow palette during spring & summer for daily makeup!!!!
