Hyped but no????
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser I have combo/sensitive skin. I am just not a fan for this product. Something about it just makes me not like it...the consistency, smell?? Not sure but something is off about it. However, I still use it when I need something really gentle. It does clean my face really well while still being sensitive, but I don’t reach for it.

My beauty awards: best cleansers
Cleansing is such an enjoyable part of my skincare routine, and I wanted to share with you guys two of my favorite cleansers: Fresh’s Soy Face Cleanser, and First Aid Beauty’s Pure Skin Face cleanser. fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash This is a bestseller and a cult favorite for a reason. This cleanser claims to remove makeup, cleanse skin without drying or stripping it, and tone. The lightweight gel formula contains soy proteins for suppleness and elasticity, rosewater for calming and balancing, and cucumber extract for soothing. I personally think this cleanser smells very strongly of cucumber, but I don’t mind it since I think of cucumber as a soothing and cooling ingredient. I use this as a morning cleanser, so I can’t speak to how well it removes makeup—however, I also enjoy balm cleansers for makeup removal so I don’t think I would ever use this to remove makeup unless I had forgotten my other cleansers on a trip or something. However, I think it’s a great morning cleanser because it’s not harsh or stripping; it just gently cleanses and soothes my skin. The texture is so luxurious and using it just feels like... an experience. I only need a tiny bit—probably a pea-sized amount—for my whole face, so even though it is pricier than I would like, it does last me a long time with once a day usage. If you want to try it, I would suggest getting the 1.7oz size, which is $15. The full size is 5.1oz and costs $38. This wins my best luxury cleanser award because it’s the only cleanser that has NEVER left my face feeling tight, even if the air is super dry that day or I haven’t drunk enough water. If you have trouble finding a cleanser that doesn’t strip your skin, I recommend this one! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser This is a really great basic cleanser for an incredible price. It’s gentle and fragrance free, and contains soothing ingredients like aloe, allantoin, and glycerin. It also claims to remove makeup, but I always use a balm cleanser for that so I can’t speak to its makeup removal abilities. However, whenever I use this, it leaves my skin feeling super soft and not stripped. The texture is creamy and doesn’t feel soapy, which I really like. I think this product would be really great for those with sensitive skin who need a mild cleanser. It retails for $21 for for 5oz, which is a generous size, or you can also get a 2oz version for $11 if you want to try it out. This wins my best budget cleanser award because it does what it says, and at a great price point.

Night Skin: Prick and Treat (II/III)
This is my march night skin routine Part II Skin type: Oily, Acne, scarring, pores 🌙 Night Prick and Treat 🌙 The Products 1) FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads I like the product and the effects, but not the wasteful style of single pad packaging. The actives are nice on skin and do brighten, but throwing a whole pad away everyday makes me a little sad. 2) SMARTR SKIN - MICRONEEDLE DERMA ROLLER AMAZING. microneedles saved my skin from terrible acne and scarring. People comment on how smooth it is, and i simply tell them I spend a lot of time each night with this baby, rolling over my whole face. 3) SEPHORA COLLECTION - Clear Skin Days by Clarifying Serum I’m going to buy this again for the simple ingredients and effectiveness. the hyaluronic and salicylic acids are a great pair for oily skin 🌙 After cleansing, i start my treatment with a swipe of the FAB Radiance pads. They pick up any dead skin cells and help resurface my skin. I have a lot of dark spots/scars that i am trying to fade. 🌙 Following that, I go in with my microneedle roller, which has been a staple in my night routine for three years and you bet that I have seen amazing results in texture and color. My scars fade pretty fast, and I never have ice-pick scars (indentations). (Id give it 10 stars if i could) 🌙 When my skin is freshly prickled, i like putting three droops of the Clear Skin Days Serum on. The salicylic acid dissolves oil and reduces acne, which is something my oily & acne prone skin desperately needs. Please see my profile for individual product breakdowns!

my perfect AM routine
Hi guys!!! Today I am sharing my perfect AM routine. I like testing out different products and different routines, but these four products will ALWAYS be in my arsenal as staples for my normal to oily skin. I’ve been using this exact routine for about a month now, with very little changes to test new things. None of these things upset my rosacea or cause discomfort! My Skin Type: — normal to oily — blemish prone, — some hyperpigmentation/PIE — rosacea Why this is my perfect AM routine: — hydrating — calming/soothing — simple — treats hyperpigmentation Products included: — FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner — FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry — Krave - Oat So Simple Water Cream — PAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Mini Reviews: — Wild Oat Hydrating Toner: perfect in my AM routine when I need some extra hydration AND to tone, but don’t wanna dry my skin out. I usually apply this with my hands, after I wash them, and just kind of pat the milky toner in. It’s a great layering product, and I can layer a few pats of this in before going in with my moisturizer. I make sure to bring this down to my neck and chest cause I don’t wanna leave those out! I am nowhere near empty because a little is a lot, but I would totally repurchase this for my am routine when I run out. $22 for 6oz, which is kind of a steal. — Very Cherry Bright vitamin c serum: first, it smells like cherries; but it’s not overly sweet and it fades quickly upon application! I have noticed a reduction of breakouts since I started using this, and and my skin tone overall looks brighter! It’s helping fade my hyperpigmentation and I’m on my second bottle of this already. Doesn’t irritate my skin as some VITC’s do, but is kind of soothing. It has kind of a juicy texture, not watery but not thick either. I know it’s a little pricy but I will probably exclusively use this for the long haul. — Oat So Simple Moisturizer: with oats and squalane, it’s hard to go wrong with this moisturizer. Again, here I go with the oats; they are hydrating and soothing and so calming. This moisturizer is perfect for my normal to oily skin for the day time, as it’s a water cream and not very thick. I will occasionally use an oil with this if my skin is dry, but this and the rest of my routine do a pretty good job at hydrating! — Youth Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid: my holy grail sunscreen. It’s THIN, so thin, so watery. It layers on nicely and plays well with the rest of my routine, and adds a bit of hydration as well. It has a slight blurring effect, meaning my pores look less defined when I use this. It’s SPF50 which is exactly what I need in the Florida sun. This works well with any makeup I put on top, from tinted moisturizers to sheer tints and foundations.

☀️ OAT-mazing ☀️ Clean Hydration
Milky, hydrating, soothing deliciousness. My skin is sensitive / combo and can get VERY CRANKY with me. From hormonal breakouts to redness and dryness, you name it my skin likes to do it. I’ve tried quite a few toners before this and honestly never noticed any benefits. I always thought they were too strong and stripping, or just way too watery that it never absorbed.... but this baby is different. I have been using this religiously for about a month and a half, day and night immediately after cleansing. I’ve found this to be hydrating, calming, soothing and absolutely phenomenal. It’s a milky texture that absorbs quickly into my skin and leaves it feeling soothed, hydrated, calm, and even moisturized and soft. It feels great immediately and layers so well with essence and all my other skincare. And did I mention that this gem is #clean just like the rest of the amazing FAB brand? Obsessed. I’m running dangerously low on this gem, and will certainly be repurchasing this soon. First Aid Beauty, you always know the way to my heart and healthy skin, and boy this toner is no different. 😍 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner #cherieconversations

Some cool toned empties
😍 = would repurchase or have already 🙃 = didn’t love it, didn’t hate it 💀 = would not repurchase 😍 Sunday Riley Juno Facial Oil- I’ve gone through about four bottles of this. It’s an antioxidant rich facial oil that’s a bit on the heavier side (I prefer to use at night). This stuff works wonders for my skin. It hydrated and balances out my combo skin and leaves me looking glowing like my skin just drank a green juice. It even helps with my acne. Favorite oil of all time. 😍 Hum Daily Cleanse- I bought these in a frenzy when I was going through a weird bout of adult acne and I was amazed. Not only did they clear up my skin but my skin is brighter and glowier than before. Have already repurchased these. 😍 Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinol Serum- This is my favorite OTC retinol I’ve ever used. It’s pretty strong for over the counter (.5% when converted by the skin) but I use this nightly with no irritation and it really helps with dark spots, acne, and firming. I also love that this has such a lightweight texture (I find some retinols can have sort of a thick pasty texture that I don’t love) and is balanced with soothing ingredients like CoQ10 and honey. 💀 Supergoop x Rebecca Taylor Defense Refresh Setting Refresh Setting Mist- This was kind of strongly fragrances to me and every time I used it I felt like I was inhaling the product which kind of freaked me out. It also made my hair greasy when I used it so I would not repurchase. 😍 First Aid Beauty Barriar Repair Cream- This stuff is amazing. The texture is really unique it almost foams up inside the jar but once you apply to your skin it’s lightweight and incredibly hydrating. In my opinion a great $30 dupe for the Tatcha Water Cream. 😍 Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Mint Chocolate Chip. I still prefer the berry one but any Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a win for me. Nothing makes my lips smoother and plumper than this product. I’ve been through I think 7 tubs now. 💀 Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb- I know everyone loves this stuff but I just wasn’t sold. It was a little too fragranced for me and I honestly just forgot I had it for awhile. It wasn’t awful or anything but it didn’t really wow me and I would not repurchase.

Old vs New: Moisturizers 🖤
Moisturizer is such a must!! It doesn’t matter what skin type you have, you always have to use a moisturizer! A rule of thumb is cream moisturizers work best for dry skin while gel typically work best for oily skin. That being said there are a few exceptions. For me that one exception was the StriVectin - SD Advanced Plus Intensive Moisturizing Concentrate For Wrinkles & Stretch Marks This by far was one of my favorite moisturizers I’ve used. I was lucky enough to win it in a giveaway because a 2 oz bottle costs $79. Strivectin claims this stretch mark cream turned anti-wrinkle moisturizer will provide 72 hours of hydration, while reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and improving skins texture. Now I’m 24, I know I don’t have many wrinkles to correct but what this did do was help smooth out my skin a lot. I’ve noticed how soft, smooth, and hydrated my skin does feel after using it. It’s a cream formula so I mainly use this at night but it isn’t heavy on the skin nor make me super oily. I do think it’s improved the elasticity of my skin as well. Purely for the price and the fact I have way too many moisturizers in my stock pile I did not repurchase. My new moisturizer is one I’ve used before but it is one I enjoy. The FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream has a texture that I’ve never felt before! When you open the jar the product inside is bubbles but underneath is the actual product. It’s almost like a gel cream hybrid that feels light as air on the skin. It can feel a little slimy at first so I don’t think this is for everyone but once you work in the product it feels light as air on the skin. It feels very hydrating and nourishing. I also really appreciate the fact it is fragrance free!! I really like this because I feel like it helps my skin barrier which is always a little dehydrated and damaged. Both have very different textures but work so well for my oily skin. If you have more dry skin and the money to spend (or more mature skin) I would completely recommend the Strivectin. If you’re looking for a cheaper option or have oily skin you might really love the lightweight hydration the First Aid Beauty. 🖤 What are some of your favorite moisturizers?

Combat fine lines and wrinkles around your sparkling eyes!👀
Combat fine lines and wrinkles around your sparkling Eye wrinkles could be the monster of your life which always rings the alarm of aging even you are not. The crow's feet and fine lines under your eyes remind others of your sleepless night. It’s time to fight back! Here we listed the main causes of wrinkles and some recommendations! 👀 1. Bad Living Habits Do not smoke too much or sink yourself in the wine barrel. Also, enough sleep is essential. These will irritate the blood vessels in the outermost layers of your skin, which influences the absorption of oxygen and important nutrients like Vitamin A. 2. UV Exposure UV is an "invisible killer" which would boost the process of skin aging. Take more care of free radical damage, like wearing sunglasses and hats, as well as applying sunscreen. 3. Natural Aging Process We cannot stop aging but… Proper eye-care products could create a strong barrier to prevent eye skin from external harm as well as providing enough internal nourishment.  Products containing Copper Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and Caffeine are good choices for you. Swipe to see their specific functions and product recommendations! *DRUNK ELEPHANT——Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum This eye serum contains many copper peptides, which is known for rejuvenating skin cells in aging tissue. It gives a powerful solution to smoothing your eye wrinkles. *FIRST AID BEAUTY——FAB Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid The main ingredient of triple hyaluronic acid has clinically proven to improve the skin’s natural hydration and smooth fine lines, wrinkles. *Erno Laszlo——Antioxidant Complex for Eyes Palmitate and Vitamin C & E could strengthen our delicate eye skin, increase elasticity and stimulate collagen production. The soothing gel texture could revive your tired eyes! *100% Pure——Bright Eyes Mask This mask is composed of 95% organic aloe juice and 5% plant cellulose. The high percentage of pure natural cucumber, aloe extracts, and appropriate hyaluronic acid aim to hydrate skin cells.

A good nighttime eye cream
I’ve been using FAB’s retinol eye cream for several weeks now, and here are my thoughts: I love it, but it does pill badly under makeup :/ The formula contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate and retinol to lessen wrinkles. While I don’t have any issues with wrinkles yet, my undereyes do tend to be dry. I love the packaging of this product, as the precise tip makes it easy to dispense the right amount of product. The texture is thick and creamy, and it feels soothing on my skin. It absorbs well into my skin, but sadly it does pill under my makeup, despite every primer trick I’ve tried. At $42 for .5 oz, I won’t be repurchasing. It’s more than I want to spend for a product that I can only use at night.

Brand breakdown: First Aid Beauty, worth it?
I am a sucker for Sephora sets. One brand that I was eager to try was First Aid Beauty. The FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer and FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream came in a set of five, but I decided to only focus on these three. (Mostly because I only had these three within my vicinity and I haven’t opened the lip balm yet.) I have tried each of these for a long enough time that I think a debriefing is in order. A little about me: I have oily, dehydrated skin with hormonal acne. The acne leaves behind hyperpigmentation spots that take forever to fade, which is a pain! (I am down to two products in my empties, no-buy challenge and decided to use one of my exceptions on a product I’m pretty excited about.) PRODUCT BREAKDOWN 🥰 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream comes in different sizes, scents and containers. I really like this cream. It costs between $14-$34 depending on the size. It isn’t too thick. It is also a Clean at Sephora beauty product so that is great to know right off the bat. The tub would be ideal if you want to have it in your bag. For: Dry, normal and combination. If you have eczema, then you should try this. (I gave a sample to one of my friends and she loves it.) PRICE: $14-$34 ❌ FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer is a $29 hydrating, oil-free lotion primer that I received in a set. The primer is suppose to “visibly” brighten and smooth. L It has shimmer in it and didn’t look nicely on my skin and/or skin tone. It seems like it was FAB’s response to the coconut trend and smashbox - Photo Finish Primerizer. Formulated for normal and dry skin, I am not sure why it was included in the set since all of the products seem to be at different ends of the spectrum. (I have since passed it on to one of my dry-skinned friend who LOVES IT.) PRICE: $29 ❌ FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Kona Eye Stick IS STRAIGHT TRASH. 🗑 I don’t know how this product was created to be used on your eye area. It is rough because the stick is just too solid. It would tug too much and when you warm it up on your hand to soften the product, it doesn’t work. It just stays solid so solid that it doesn’t stay in the tubular container. It just slides out. I bought it at T.J. Maxx for $9.99 so it wasn’t too much of a loss. This is just a no-go, regardless of the cost. PRICE: $24. Conclusion: FAB seems to be a brand that is geared to dry, sensitive, normal and combination skin.

Fave Primer EVER
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer My favorite primer I’ve ever tried in my life! This actually doubles as a moisturizer which I find incredibly convenient for us oily skin babes. It’s formulated oil free, with coconut water, quinoa protein and a mineral blend. It add a sufficient amount of hydration(for my skin) while blurring pores and fine lines. What is really the best about this primer is it’s very slightly pearly finish. It makes me glow even under my foundation. The only other primer I’d trade this in for is the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer which I’ll be telling you about in my next post!

First aid beauty KP eraser body scrub
I suffer from KP at the back of my arms and on my thighs but I wasn't never really bothered about it. I have been using this body exfoliate for few months and I'm loving it and I have purchased multiple times since I go through them quickly. It has the pumice buffing beads which helps remove dead skin and also contains glycolic and lactic acid which helps in exfoliating the skin. Its like an at home chemical peel/ microdermabrasion treatment🤩 I do like that my skin feels super smooth and soft instead of the bumpy grainy texture.

My skin from 01/01/19 to 01/01/20
I had acne ever since the age of 14. None was really bad until last year in January where my skin was uncontrollable. I formed dry eczema in some area of my skin and extremely oily in other parts. I went to dermatologist and was on accutane with acne treatments but nothing really worked. I decided to research the ingredients in the product. Suprisingly so many allergen warning products were on most of the skin care I was using. Now my routine is dhc oil cleanser, makep:em safe me cleanser, the lab blanc toner, be plain cicaful ampoule, and First aid beauty ultra repair moisturizer with some benzoyl peroxide and the body shop teatree night mask now and then. What i got off from this experience is to always check the ingredients of what you are buying!!! Fyi: first aid beauty moisturizer can clog your pores if you use too much. Only use dime size amount. 💛Hello, & good afternoon! If you love simple things, it doesn’t get more simple than this. So if you want to exfoliate, tone, brighten, and clean your skin at the same time? This is the product you need! I love doing this before applying makeup, or on a day where I don’t want to put on any at all. These pads make my skin look great. They’re already wet, with the product in them, so all you have to do is pull it out, use it, and toss it! So easy! I was worried about them not being wet enough and just drying after one side of my face, but these are soaked! Definitely worth the price! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads x28

My FAVORITE spf moisturizer 🧴
My FAVORITE spf moisturizer 🧴
A multitasker that provides 12 hours of soothing hydration, SPF 30 protection, and a natural finish that reduces the look of visible imperfections. The formula is like lightweight lotion. Dryness, finelines, and wrinkles are solutions this moisturizer can help with! It is great for hyperpigmentation as well. The texture of this is thick and creamy that blends so well on the skin! I really love using this spf moisturizer because it also helps to calm and soothe dry or distressed skin! A friend recommended this to me about 8 months ago and I immediately fell in love the first time I tried it! It is very hydrating and it didn’t break me out! I saw results in my skin from using spf! I would definitely recommend this to others if they want a nice creamy spf moisturizer that does everything they want it to do! It is worth picking this up for the price of $28 for 1oz!FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30

Great for all skin types especially oily
Great for all skin types especially oily
I am 45 with combo skin and some fine lines. I am most oily in the tzone area and I have a hard time finding a moisturizer that does not make me more oily. I was given the coconut water cream by a friend and was hesitant to use at first because I was worried it would make me more oily/shiny in the tzone area. I was shocked at how well this did moisturize without leaving a oily residue. The skin just soaks up this beautiful and amazing cream. It’s not a heavy cream and for that reason alone I love to wear this during the day. I also love the way this smells. I will be a user of this cream for as long as it’s made. I love that they are made with clean skin loving ingredients. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream
