A fake tan without streaks? GROUNDBREAKING.
TAN-LUXE - The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops The Tan Luxe self tan drops are such a necessity for the summer! We both have been using the face & body drops constantly and loving them! If you are anything like us, you may be prone to streaky fake tanner applications WHOOPS. I’m not sure if it’s our laziness or just boredom while applying fake tanner.... but we can honestly say Tan Luxe is a lot harder to screw up!! All you need to do is add a few drops into your regular face or body moisturizer. Depending on how dark of a tan you want, you can add however many drops. We typically do 3-4 drops for our face, and similarly 3-4 drops per area of our body. Another area we are impressed with is the scent! Everyone is different... but we personally do not like the smell of most fake tanners! There is a subtle scent but it is nothing in comparison to a St. Tropez or Jergens. The price point is high but well justified! Have you tried Tan Luxe? What is your favorite self tanner? #cheriecreator

Custom-made tanning? Yes, possible!
I was gifted 4 stunning self-tanning products from Tan-Luxe and being a self-tan addict myself, I was in complete awe to receive them! The box said it’s custom-made tanning and that made me even more curious about this brand and its gorgeous products. Let’s dig in! The Face First, let’s talk about the packaging. The Face comes in this glass bottle with a dropper that allows you to apply a certain number of drops of the tanning product. So that allowed me to put more tan drops if I want a healthy bronzed babe glow, or less drops if I want a more natural color. It’s non-comedogenic so it doesn’t cause me pimples (hallelujah!!). Mix it together with your moisturizer and you’re good to go. I apply it at night time so when I wake up the morning after, the tan has already developed. The Body Like The Face, The Body comes with a dropper so you can customize the number of tanning drops you want according to how deep you want your tan to look like. I normally go for 12 drops since I have olive skin and I’m obsessed with a bronzed glow. It has 2 downsides though -the smell and how it fades. The smell is too much. My bf even told me it smells like pee (gasp!!!). And after 5 days, it left me with patches. It didn’t fade naturally unlike the other brand I used to have. That’s the reason why I don’t use this anymore. The Gradual Now, if you love a glowing tan look but hate the process of applying it, this product is for you! I use this every now and then during evenings for a natural bronzed glow the next morning. I can even use it in the morning and dress up and go on with my day without having to worry that the color might transfer to my clothes. It doesn’t leave any stain on my clothes nor on my sheets. It's heaven's gift to lazy girls who love to tan! The Water This comes with a mist that you can spray and apply with your hands or with a tanning mitt if you’re scared to have dark palms. I love that the mist is super fine so it applies so evenly against my skin. I even use it on my face to set my makeup at times. It has a very light tan effect that you can build if you want a deeper color. Just spray more, and you’re good to go. The scent isn’t as overpowering as The Body so this is perfect for me. I like to apply it on my decolletage to emphasize them when I’m wearing a lower neckline.

Keeping the summer vibes going year round! 💖🌺
One of my biggest skin struggles has to be my inability to hold a tan!! I can be out in the sun for a week straight and get really dark, but once I spend a day or two inside my tan quickly fades away. One great benefit from this is that tan lines don't last all summer like they do on others, but it makes me get dull really quick! My solution for dull skin in the fall and winter is the Tan Luxe self tanning products!! What works best for me!? TAN-LUXE - The Butter Illuminating Tanning Butter This is the easiest way for me to hold a tan in the colder months. My favorite thing about this product is it has a little bit of sparkle so when you put it on your body shimmers!! Something I have been conscious of as a self tanner is ingredients. This light and fluffy butter has a great combination of ingredients that moisturize and energize the skin with little harm. Moisturizing Ingredients: Featuring a complex of vitamin E and raspberry seed, oat and coconut oils, plus cocoa and shea butters. Energizing! This product is also enriched with a cellutone complex that is caffeinated, so it reduces the look of cellulite! This goes on smooth and silky! I suggest putting this on after a shower on a day when you can lay low. It's a simple product and can be used any time, but I find I get zero steaks or patches when I can spend a few hours with no clothes rubbing in certain places. This product does not get patchy like other self tanners, but I find around the feet can get a little bit patchy if you wear shoes for a long period of time on the day that it is applied. That's why I suggest doing this on your day off. But honestly if you need a boost and you have to go out later that day, it's usually fine! What I do: Run this all over my body from the bottom up in a circular motion. After I'm finished I clean my hands and hang out in a loose dress or robe for 4-5 hours. I try not to shower for at least 10 hours after I apply it. TAN-LUXE - The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops I love this product because you can mix a few drops into your daily moisturizer allowing you to keep a consistent glow whenever it is needed! The skin boosting a soothing ingredients: Raspberry Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera. This one has a slightly sweet smell and when applied it makes your face warm for a few seconds. After a couple of hours you will notice a difference. I usually use 2-3 drops every other week and it keeps a light glow. I apply this on a day where I won't be wearing makeup and van avoid washing my face for at least 8 hours to let it soak in. So if you are looking for a colour boost as the weather gets colder and the UV rays get weaker try this duo out and let me know what you think! 💖💖

Did I Shave My Legs For This?? (Yes 😉)
🧴 Let’s talk 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬! 🧴⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ 𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘚𝘪𝘳𝘪, 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺 “𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘐 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘔𝘺 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴?”𝘉𝘺 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳.⁣ Because yes. Yes I did. ⁣ 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭? This is TAN-LUXE - The Butter Illuminating Tanning ButterIt is described as “A quick-drying gradual tan that moisturizes for a streakless glow.”⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:⁣⁣ •Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Coconut Oil for moisture⁣ •Raspberry Seed Oil for moisturizing and conditioning⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐌𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: So I’m probably in the top 100 palest people in the world, especially in the winter. I remember when it was finally warm enough for shorts one spring, I put on white shorts and asked my husband if they looked okay and he did a double take and told me that he thought I was wearing pants. True story. At least he’s honest 😂⁣ ⁣ This lotion 𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐭 to me, so I had to capture that with the photo! I absolutely love the smell, and it does hydrate beautifully. I’ve only tried using this with my hands, never a tanning glove or anything, and haven’t had any streaks — except for on my feet! I can’t seem to get the technique right for my feet and always end up with tan splotches!⁣ ⁣ The second photo shows how this looks on. For reference, I applied one layer to only my right leg Tuesday evening, and naturally fell asleep before getting a photo after the 2-4 hours it’s supposed to take to develop. So, I re-applied Wednesday afternoon since I wanted to show the lotion’s buildability and then couldn’t get the lighting right so I rage quit. This picture is (finally) from this morning (Friday), so nearly 2 full days after my last application and after multiple showers. This is in natural light with no filters — you can see the tan looks very natural and has lasted even after bathing!⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞: I bought this jumbo size on some one-day mega sale on HSN last summer, and I can’t even remember what I paid for it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I like this product, but this bottle will last me so long that by the time I would need to repurchase, we will have invented an app that can tan your legs for you.⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳??

Best Self Tanners and bronzers for 2020

These products can help give you a healthy glow. fast drying self tanner mousse for body- •ST.TROPEZ - Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse $44 at Sephora multitasking self tan serum for face with SPF- •TAN-LUXE - Super Glow Hyaluronic Self-Tan Serum $59 at HSN moisturizing self tan spray for body with SPF- •Supergoop! - Healthy Glow Sunless Tan Broad Spectrum Suncreen SPF 40$38 at Sephora Face bronzer for a natural look- •DRUNK ELEPHANT - D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops $36 at Sephora Color correcting self tanning water for face- •ISLE OF PARADISE - Self-Tanning Water $28 at Sephora daily moisturizer in gradual self tanner in one- •JERGENS - Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer $11 at Target affordable drugstore self tanner- •bondi sands - bondi sands Self Tanning Foam $24 at Walgreens *The difference between a bronzer and self tanner* This list includes both bronzers and self tanners (some self tanning products contain bronzers). A self tanner is a product that contains a color additive, usually Dihydroxyacetone, aka DHA, an ingredient that reacts with your skin to turn it darker. Because of the nature of the product, you can’t wash off the tan. The color will usually last for about a week, depending on how much you sweat and shower, and if you moisturize. A bronzer is a product designed to give you a bronze glow, but it does not “tan” your skin and the color is only temporary. It’s just a layer of color, like make up, that you can apply to your face and body that can wash off.

this definitely was a required
this definitely was a required purchase! tan-luxe is the most perfect tan I’ve used and I’ve used a lot... the face tan is so natural looking and the body one is amazing and I haven’t noticed that awful tan smell either... so easy to use, not streaky or patchy and packed full of good ingredients... I’ve managed to not stain my hands either 🙌🏻 which is always my fear with a tan like this... And now I look like I’m fresh off the beach 🏝 I’m absolutely LOVING the instant hero tan...This is an instant tan and body perfecter in one!

THE GRADUAL Illuminating Gradual Tan Lotion
TAN-LUXE-THE GRADUAL Illuminating Gradual Tan Lotion
I’m loving these self tanning
I’m loving these self tanning drops from tan_luxe I tried these the other day and for a first timer, it wasn’t all that bad. Except, I applied it before I went to bed. Now, I sleep on my side so it got a little uneven BUT after a few days it has gotten better as it faded naturally! The people here didn’t even notice until I pointed it out. I also think it’s not that noticeable in my photos.. I’ll post photos soon when there’s better lighting! I’ve been lazy due to the gloomy weather. These Illuminating Self-Tan Drops have skin boosting properties that help the skin feel hydrated and radiant thanks to Raspberry Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera. I mixed 2-4 drops on my moisturizing cream and body lotion and applied it on my face. Next time I’ll just do 1-2. Then the tan develops for 8 hours while for the face, 60 minutes tops. My skin wasn’t dry at all the next morning. The tan lasts for about a week but I can control how it will look based on the amount of product I use. The scent is amazing by the way! In case you were wondering ~ 💛✨ Also, I noticed when I was toning my skin, the color was transferring onto the cotton pad which was okay for me because it allowed me to even out the mess I made. Now, it looks so much better and I’m ready for my next appointment! 😆

I’ve never really used self ta
I’ve never really used self tanners because I’ve always thought they would come out orange and streaky. I recently won the tan_luxe giveaway and used the body drops for the first time last week and was super impressed! I mixed 5 drops into my moisturizer to use on my legs (just the bottom half) and had the perfect bronzed glow! I love that these mix into your moisturizer so it gives more of an even coverage and the perfect subtle glow without looking streaky or fake. My one mistake was not moisturizing my ankles/knees first and it was slightly darker in those areas but nothing noticeable and could easily be fixed by using less over those areas and moisturizing first.

The Body Illuminating Self-Tan Drops
TAN-LUXE-The Body Illuminating Self-Tan Drops
Some body products I've been l
Some body products I've been loving lately! The marinbee honey butter is a thick buttery cream that absorbs remarkably fast. Love the ethos behind this greenbeauty company too! And just say the words "honey butter" and you know I'm there! The oliveandm body oil may be my favorite body moisturizer right now as it doesn't irritate my eczema prone skin. When I feel an itchy patch coming on I make sure to put this body oil on it and usually it won't flare up. The badgerbalm rose balm is perfect for dry hands and elbows and smells delightful if you like roses. Finally the tan_luxe The Body isn't one I can use that often but I love it when I do. It's a self tanning oil that you mix into your moisturizer or body oil. A few drops will do as it is pretty concentrated. I love the smell of this and would totally buy this in a perfume! And it gives a nice natural glow (no orange streaks here) while moisturizing your skin.

Emma Hardie Skincare Plump & G
Emma Hardie Skincare Plump & Glow Facial Mist is lovely, (and expensive) I bought a couple when they were reduced in some Xmas sets... I definitely wouldn’t repurchase at full price coz it’s pricey! 🙈 . Pixi Beauty Milky Tonic was purchased to use as a toner/essence for my holiday in June. It’s about half-finished... I love it and would certainly pick up the full size! . I luuuurrrvvveee it 🥰 . TAN-LUXE The Face is a CONSTANT re-purchase for me... I’ve been using the Sleep Oil more recently so have been neglecting this beauty... . Do you have a one out one in the rule or are you like me and have far too much stuff for one face?! 😜
