During the fall/winter months is when you prep for the spring/summer months.
Any “insecurity” or “problem area” you want to tackle on your body is best done now.
Why? Unless you live somewhere warm year round, you’re probably bundled up and in the house more. Giving you that layer of protection from the sun and climate, why not start now?

DERMAdoctor - KP Duty Lotion
Oooh y’all! Okay so I don’t have really bad KP (“Keratosis pilaris”), yet I love the benefits.
Ingredients:
Glycolic + Lactic Acids- Powerful AHAs that work as chemical exfoliants to reveal smoother, softer, more radiant skin
Ceramides- Work to prevent excessive water loss due to evaporation and maintain a healthy skin barrier.
Urea- Humectant
Gluconolactone- Anti-aging antioxidant benefits and is a mega-moisturizing humectant able to hold 4x its weight in water compared to hyaluronic acid
Squalane- Restorative , healing,
Cupuacu Seed Butter- packed with essential fatty acids to protect and moisturize skin and polyphenols to combat free radical damage
Anti Redness Complex- Composed of White Tea, Licorice, Boswellia Serrata + Superoxide Dismutase - works to minimize the appearance of redness at the base of affected hair follicles, erasing “polka dot” skin.
Willow Bark- Natural BHA with a molecular size smaller than AHAs able to more easily penetrate hair follicles and oil glands and chemically exfoliate debris.
With that all star ingredient list whew! Just be sure to wear your sunscreen !
This is on sale at Ulta ($19) retails ($38)
TRULY - Acai Your Boobies Lifting Boob Serum

Açaí- Antioxidant rich berry extract that helps keep skin glowing and hydrated.
Okay I was super skeptical about this product! After having my son I miss my old girls.

If you look up Sanne Vander on YT work outs to make this effective!
I got this from Ulta for $28
meow meow tweet - Lavender Baking Soda Free Deodorant Cream

Skin Concerns: Bumpy Skin
I have suffered from Keratosis Pilaris (KP) for many years, but I did not know what it was until recently. It is essentially a condition that makes your hair follicles on certain parts of your body get clogged with keratin. Therefore, I constantly have little bumps all over the front and back of my thighs. It is noticeable and causes me to constantly pick at my legs, so I knew I had to find something to combat it! The main thing most people (and my dermatologist) recommend is putting on a lotion that contains leave-on exfoliants that clear your pores of the keratin plugs. I have tried a few over the years, and these are my favorites! For a cost-effective option I would definitely go with the Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy Skin Lotion. It works very well and comes in a huge tub! Now, all of these lotions are pretty thick to apply, but this one is probably the thickest and the one that absorbs the worst. But, it is so much cheaper than the other options so I definitely still recommend it. The other two are a little thinner, but are about 5x more expensive than the Gold Bond (~$50). They both work very well as well! The key with these types of products is to use them consistently. If you just use it once a week it is not going to have the best results, you need to use it over time to see the bumps disappear!

DERMAdoctor-KP Duty Lotion
Dermalogica Microfoliant, my Holy Grail product. I struggle with hormonal cystic acne. Yes, hormonal so these nasty belts of cystic acne hit me any day, any time of the month. I never had acne growing up, except for the occasional little zit when Mother Nature hit me once a month.
After the loss of my father at 25 I started getting cystic acne. I tried everything! Been to numerous dermatologists, tried prescription meds. To no avail it’s been trial and error in the beauty world. From skincare to makeup, I still struggle finding the right product. Due to this I have to be very picky about what I put on my face. Especially Moisturizers, Oils, and face serums.
I used to use Saint Ives aprocot Scrub. I would lather it on my face thinking I was making a difference until I got educated on skincare.
This Dermalogica Microfoliant is not so much a physical scrub but designed to erase dead skin cells thanks to the key player in the product papian(the enzyme found in papaya) and salicylic acid.
Together, this duo loosens and removes the top layer of skin exposing the shinny new stuff underneath. Sounds great right? Except most people who use it rub it in for 10-15 seconds.
If you use this correctly massaging into the skin for at least a full minute it is a miracle worker!!!
It’s made my skin clearer, brighter, and smoother, basically everything you want! It is a daily microfoliant so it won’t do your skin any harm to use it daily. If you haven’t tried this miracle worker, I hope you get a chance to soon.

AHA Lotions for Keratosis Pilaris
Both of these lotions are targeted for people with keratosis pilaris (KP). This is a skin condition where excess keratin plugs your pores and creates little bumps. This is a condition I have had on my thighs for many years, but I only recently learned about what it was! One of the main things recommended for KP are lotions that contain ingredients to gently exfoliate the skin, which in turn helps to unclog the pores. One of the main ingredients used in these types of lotions is AHA (alpha hydroxy acids), which is the main ingredient in both of these lotions. These are both at similar price points, around $50. The SkinFix cream is thicker than the KP Duty lotion, which is more of the consistency of an everyday lotion. I have used them both consistently and really did see results with both! The key for these types of lotions is that you really do have to use them consistently to see results.I typically would only apply the SkinFix cream at night before getting into my pajamas so that it had time to soak in overnight. The KP duty lotion is better for everyday, so this is the one I will continue to purchase throughout the warmer months! But I definitely recommend both.

Dark circle under eye
I tried THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream I didn’t see any different my dark circle same
And still my favorite one DERMAdoctor - Kakadu C Eye Soufflé i used again
THE inkey LIST-Brighten-i Eye Cream
Waste of money
I don’t believe to have spent $58 on this cleanser which absolutely did nothing to my skin! I was suggested to use this by an Ulta associate with a skin concern of pigmentation and breakouts after a long use of one complete month I saw zero results I hated it so much that I wanted to return but didn’t as I used most of the product! I honestly don’t believe in this brand anymore. I also used a moisturizer from this at the same time which I will review next.
