Wanting To Shrink Pore Size
I bought this during a heat wave after someone here said this mask was like “putting a bag of ice on your face” 😂. While it does have that standard cooling effect it mentions, I was sad to find that it didn’t absolutely freeze my face, but I think that part is just a me problem. I’m not really sure if it’s helping my pores but it’s important to note that I don’t use this regularly. Immediately after use I don’t see any major differences but I still think it’s a good mask in general. There’s nothing I dislike about OLE HENRIKSEN - Cold Plunge Pore Mask .

A mask you actually want to wear😏
First things first, follow me for more content like this😘💖. I don’t usually gravitate towards masks because I never seem to want to sit with it on and I always just want to get on with my skincare routine. However, I came across this mask because it had so many great reviews and my pores are always out of control. I guess you could say it’s a “cult favorite”. The Cold Plunge Pore Mask from Ole Henriksen is supposed to “deeply purify and diminish the look of pores with an exhilarating chill”. This mask is formulated with AHA, BHA, clay, willow herb extracts and neem seed oil. 💖 There is literally nothing I hate about this product. I love it. I love the cooling sensation and I have seen a great reduction in my pores. It feels like I’ve been kissed by an ice cube that was chewing mint gum lol. My face always feels like it’s getting a deep clean when I use this mask. My face is extremely smooth and the amount of oil on my face has reduced throughout the day. It’s safe to say that I finally know why this is a cult favorite. For this product it is recommended to be used 2-3 times a week and use cool water to take it off. Since this product contains AHA please do wear sunscreen after, at least spf 30. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has problems with their pores. It comes in a 3.4 oz tube and retails for $38.00. I only use this on my nose and cheek area, not my whole face. Definitely worth the price and worth the 15 minutes of wearing it. But don’t be like me, please be consistent 😘. OLE HENRIKSEN - Cold Plunge Pore Mask

✨New Beauty Buys-Ole Henriksen PHAT: Worth it?
I recently got this new face mask that works like a facial, with potent PHAs and Nordic birch sap to exfoliate by @olehenriksen ✨OLE HENRIKSEN - PHAT Glow Facial Mask It's really an interesting mask that works similar to @theordinary's AHA BHA peeling solution, but has Polyhydroxy Acid in it. It's an exfoliating mask that works instantly without causing any irritation or burning at all. I really liked this mask because you can keep it on for 15-20 mins and watch the pink color turn into white then wash it off. This mask doesn't sting or burn but does that exfoliation and gives a glow. It works amazing for my any skin type, I have oily/combination and Acne prone skin and it works great for me. The texture is of this mask very unique. It's goopy and stringy. Unlike clay masks, it's a thick creamy texture that glides on face like gum and washes off without any mess. I am enjoying using this because it gives me results instantly. It is great for dull skin, uneven skin tone and texture, Dark Spots, Fine lines and Wrinkles, Pores, and Dryness. ✨It has : Highlighted Ingredients: - Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs): A gentler alternative to AHAs that help even skin tone and texture through chemical exfoliation. - Nordic Birch Sap: Helps hydrate and nourish skin. - Pink Bentonite Clay: Helps clarify and renew. My experience: -Instantly brightens skin and makes it feel smooth and soft -Improves dark spots / hyperpigmentation -Doesn't irritate skin, doesn't sting or burn -Very gentle on Sensitive skin and works similar to AHA BHA masks. The only downside of this product is the price, It's 50$ for 1.7 fl.oz / 50 mL of product which in my opinion is quite expensive. The amount we get is very minimum and it's not going to last you more than 10 uses. You can get better exfoliating masks or solutions at quarter of the price and they work the exact same. Although I truly liked this product I won't be repurchasing it frequently.

❤️ morning mask ❤️
If I ever wake up before my alarm in the mornings, I like to treat myself. Since I’m up earlier than I expected, it’s the perfect time to give a little time back to my skin. This mask is perfect for all skin types. It pumps out pink and you rub it in till it turns white. Leave it on for 15 minutes, and you have glowing, hydrated and soft skin. This mask has PHAs, and Nordic birch sap. It’s great for a deep clean that leaves a lasting glow. It’s promises to reduce wrinkles, hydrate skin, help with eczema, and be deep cleansing. I love to use it before my morning skincare 2-3 times a week.

OMG - For all the wrong reasons
So, here’s the thing.... If you want to read up on what this OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème claims to do, I suggest you Google or search for someone else’s review because I’ve got nothing much more to say about this product except for “waste of money”. Oh it enhanced my eye area alright - with the most red, itchy, puffy, irritated look I’ve ever experienced and I was far from impressed. I don’t even have sensitive skin usually! you can see the second pic for what it did It took me a good 2 months to work out what was the culprit in my skincare and by process of elimination the last cosmetic standing (infamously) was this one. I hauled it straight back to Sephora and they were nice enough to give me a full refund without question; although something tells me I’m not the first person to have ever returned this horrible product. I’m never one to return cosmetics, nor give such harsh reviews. But after what this did to me, and now reading so many others who had this same reaction from this product, I felt compelled to share my experience. Jury is out on what caused such a reaction: but from my guess it’s the Fragrance and citrus extracts and potentially the potency of the Vitamin C. YOU LIVE AND LEARN

Why you need eye cream !!!
My favorite eye cream is OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème Check my previous post to see my review on it . The skin around the eyes is more fragile, more prone to dryness, and quicker to show age and fatigue. Squinting and constant movement of the eyes also hasten the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and fluids collect under the eyes and cause puffiness and dark circles. Eye creams can address some of these issues. The most common form of protection an eye cream can provide is the ability to prevent sun damage when the formulation has been packed with SPF. Eye cream can also act as a protective barrier between the skin and any external factors (e.g. makeup and chemicals), preventing any further damage. Applying eye cream should be the final step in your skin care routine every day, both in the morning and at night. The one exception? You should apply sunscreen after eye cream! Most eye creams claim that they remove dark circles and fade lines or reduce puffiness, but most don't! ... Dark circles are either hereditary or as a result of collagen reduction from ageing, this makes blood vessels appear more noticeable through skin. The 9 Best Eye Creams, According to Dermatologists Biopelle Radiance Eye Cream. ... Lumiere Bio-Restorative Eye Cream. ... L'Oreal Revitalift Volume Filler Eye Treatment. ... Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye. ... Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream. ... Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum. ... Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Gel. The skin around your eyes is thinner and more delicate than the rest of your face so facial moisturizers and eye creams are both formulated to be lighter and less greasy than body moisturizers. ... Eye creams are formulated to be extra mild since the area around the eye is particularly sensitive to irritation.

September Empties 🌿
🌿 OLEHENRIKSEN Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser 4/5 This is an AHA (glycolic and lactic acid) cleanser that is meant to reduce excess oil production and help unclog pores. I enjoyed this in the summer months on days where I felt oily but this cleanser is pretty drying for dryer skin types and colder months. Although it didn’t irritate me, this has peppermint oil that gives it a slight tingly feeling. I don’t think this would be stripping for oily skin types but I definitely would not recommend this to dry skin types. 🌿 Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion Moist 4.5/5 I really love how hydrating this product is! The only reason its a 4.5 is because I like the premium lotion more but this one is still good. I found the premium version to be more hydrating for my dryer skin type! Overall, both are great options for hydrating toners depending on your skin type! 🌿 A'PIEU - Madecassoside Sun Cream 3/5 I really like the texture of this sunscreen cause it’s one of the only physical sunscreens I’ve used that wasn’t drying. I actually found this to be quite moisturizing and it didn’t pill under makeup. The big downside of this sunscreen is that it has a white cast on my more medium skin tone. The white cast isn’t too bad so I think people with a fair complexion won’t experience much white cast. I ended up using this on days when I was staying home or on my hands. It’s also only 39 spf, PA++ and I like my sunscreens to be 50+. 🌿 MISSHA - All-Around Safe Block Essence Sun Milk 4/5 This is a chemical sunscreen, spf 50, PA+++ and I really enjoyed it! Chemical sunscreens don’t irritate my skin so I prefer them much more over physical ones. This sunscreen was hydrating, and blended well into the skin without any white cast. It also did not pill under my makeup and it gave me a nice glow. 🌿Bioderma Cicabio Cream 5/5 I used this cream on days when my skin felt really sensitive and dry and I really loved it! The texture is unique, it’s very thick and spreadable. It repaired my skin so well and go rid of any irritation on my skin.

Part 2 Oily Skin
10 do's and don’ts from dermatologists💦 DO wash your face every morning, evening, and after exercise. While washing, resist the temptation to scrub your skin, even to remove makeup. Scrubbing irritates your skin, which can make it look worse. DO choose skin care products that are labeled “oil free” and “noncomedogenic.” This means that products that have these labels — including cleansers, moisturizers and makeup — won’t clog your pores or cause acne. DO use a gentle, foaming face wash. Many people believe that they need to use a strong face wash for oily skin in order to dry out their skin. However, using a face wash that is too harsh can irritate your skin and trigger increased oil production. Instead, look for a mild, gentle face wash. DON’T use oil-based or alcohol-based cleansers. These can irritate your skin. DO apply moisturizer daily. Although you have oily skin, it is still important to apply moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Try a gel moisturizer instead of a heavy cream based one. DO choose oil-free, water-based makeup. DON’T sleep in your makeup. Always remove all makeup before going to sleep. DO use blotting papers and DON’T touch your face throughout the day. Although it’s tempting to touch your face, doing so can spread dirt, oil and bacteria from your hands to your face. Only touch your face when you’re cleansing, moisturizing or applying sunscreen or makeup, and make sure your hands are clean first. Highly recommend products for oily skin. Hylamide - Pore Flush I personally use this and it’s amazing!! Check out my review for details 💦 TATCHA - The Water Gel This is a great gel moisturizer. OLE HENRIKSEN - Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser I’ve used this before and absolutely love this cleanser! For oily skin with breakouts: THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay is a cult favorite and I’ve used a lot! Great for oily skin. Mamonde - Rose Water Gel Cream is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used for my oily skin. Hope these tips help! Do you want to see a specific skin struggle in part 3? ❤️

Morning skincare routine for combination skin ✨
I’ve switched up my skincare routine as my skin has been really acting out recently. I’ve always had dry, dull skin so facial acne is a new problem for me (at 23🙃). However I didn’t want to strip my skin and cause further breakouts so here’s what I’ve been trying recently. This is my first post so please comment and let me know what you think/ would recommend! Cleanser: I start the day with the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser It’s gentle, with a simple ingredient list of ceramides and hyaluronic acid. It’s non foaming and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight (which I find frequently happens with foaming products). It’s basic but does the job of sweeping off last nights products well. 💦 Toner: then on a still slightly damp face I sweep on LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer either patting it on with my hands or using a cotton pad. My skin drinks this up fassst & I haven’t had any dry patches on my nose since using this daily. It’s lightweight & very watery and although it claims to be a 2 in 1 toner and moisturiser I definitely wouldn’t say that I could skip moisturiser after using this. 🐄 Serums: I try and get The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 onto my face as quickly as possible so that the hyaluronic acid draws moisture from the toner and not deeper layers of my skin. This serum absorbs quickly & isn’t tacky at all, it also doesn’t interact with any of my other products so I’m already on my second bottle & use it in my morning and evening skincare routine. 🐳 I then use OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Serum I feel pretty meh about this, it has a nice texture and absorbs quickly but it also has (a nice!) fragrance & I can’t say I’ve seen much of a difference in the few weeks I’ve been using it. It claims to have anti aging properties thanks to its collagen, but at most, topical collagen will moisturise your skin (the molecules are too big to penetrate deeper) so I think I’m keen to try other vitamin C serums, I’m thinking of getting the FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherryor The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%so any thoughts on those would be welcome! 🍊 Then The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% which has been driving me a bit mad recently. I’m only halfway through my first bottle but have had such hit and miss results in terms of pilling! Think I’m going to permanently relocate this to just my nighttime routine 🌚 Moisturiser: OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer is lightweight and has a nice texture so it’s a great summer moisturiser, in terms of brightening though, I’ve not seen much change. Finally Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 it’s non greasy, but does create some shine & it stings like hell if you get it in your eyes so be warned! But no white cast & a nice texture🌞

can't just stick to one regimen 😬 plz help!
Ok ppl, I've bought quite a few things to kick start a AM routine and a PM routine but it seems like I just can't stick to one or two items 😑 which is probably why I'm not seeing great results 😕 can yall help me stick to one or maybe even cancel out some things??? a little FYI: I have Dry sometimes sensitive skin (mostly dry tho). Got a couple acne scars but nothing too serious. Lots of black heads 😣 i feel because im putting too much product on my face im getting alot of black heads around my cheeks and chin. so in the AM I have a couple cleansers I like to use: TATCHA - The Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser or the CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin next I put Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum i like it but I want something more hydrating. I also have OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Serum but I've heard some negative things about it so I rarely apply it in the AM, more towards the PM. so here is where I might be doing it wrong, I put on CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for Body with Zinc Oxide before my moisturizer. Now I like the sunscreen, it does have that white cast but once I put moisturizer it kinda goes away. I do have the Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 which i alternate depending on what ill be doing that day. lastly, I have tons of moisturizers. I need something that will hydrate my face all day or at least all day. I have the TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream which i LOVE but I hate using it everyday cuz 1. it's EXPENSIVE and 2. it can be a bit too hydrating where it looks oily toward the end of the day. I like using this one more at night time. Another moisturizer I use is the OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer also heard negative things about so I'll wear it more for the PM. I have SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream which is AMAZING! 👏👏 this gives me just the right amount of hydration and it doesn't feel heavy or tacky like the CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream which i rather use at night as well. This one doesn't give me as much hydration as I would like. oh and for toners the only thing I have is THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner its ok, if anyone else has recommendations plz feel free to drop some info plz 🙏 Anywho, this is pretty much what I use for both AM and PM. I do have 2 exfoliaters the Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser and OLE HENRIKSEN - Transforming Walnut Scrub which I will alternate as well. If anyone has any recommendations or tips for ya girl PLZ feel free. Lmk if I need to add or take out some of the things I use. Can't wait to see your guy's feedback 🤗😓

Battle of the Toners 🥊
💭 I remember when I was in high school, I would use toners as makeup removers. I cringe at that memory, specifically because it was an alcohol heavy toner that would burn my face and eyes every time... This memory made realize how misunderstood toners are and how much they’ve evolved! This post will give you a brief intro to the toners I use and why! ❗️Please do not use alcohol based toners. There is no need to be that silly. We can treat skin concerns without damaging your skin barrier. Hydrating Toners: My favorite type of toner! I use it almost every morning and night (when I don’t use exfoliants). I like these because they’re gentle and nourish your skin with the moisture it needs. It’s basically the prepping step so your next skincare products can absorb more efficiently into the skin. I have been using my rice toner for a while now and it’s a holy grail. Check out my other post for my review on it! I'm from - Rice Toner AHA Exfoliation Toners: These are a wonder and come in so many different formulations/percentages that I believe any skin type will be able to find their perfect match! I use these probably 2x/week max depending on if I’m using an AHA serum or not (I never use them together). I like these toners a lot better because I really do see a difference since using them long term. I’ve seen a huge decrease in dullness and breakouts! Be careful if you’re new to exfoliation or have sensitive skin. The YTTP might be a little too strong if you don’t have the tolerance but once you build up to it, it’s a fantastic product. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner I’m not a fan of the Ole Henriksen one. It claims to reduce dark spots and it did not do it for me. I’m still using it just because I need to finish it. But would not repurchase. As for exfoliation, I think it might be a good starter but overall the fragrance aspect of it is not my favorite and I think you can find better exfoliation toners/serums out there. OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner BHA Exfoliation Toners: You got an acne flare up? Milia? Inflammation? Blackheads? This is your stop! BHA products are fat soluble so they dig deep in your pores and get rid of excess oils or dead skin. This in turn makes your pores look smaller, erase black head visibility and calm your acne inflammation! I bought the Paulas Choice BHA toner bc I kept getting blackheads around my nose and my hormonal acne needed to be tamed. The toner did just that and even made me look a little brighter/ glowy the next day! I love this product and even tho it markets that it can be used every day, I kind of just use it the weeks I feel that I need to treat my hormonal acne or if my pores are looking quite large. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator 💡Final Thoughts: Start with a small % & don’t overuse.

Hello, so I been struggling with my skin for years. I’m 29 now & it hasn’t seemed to get any better. I use to think the tiniest pimples or marks were a problem but my skin kept getting worse. These pix are a week apart & the top is today. Last October my skin hit a low & I decided to cut dairy. It helped, then my skin got bad again & I cut out meat. It helped for a little again. I tried so much products. I was on Zo skincare & helped but it’s too expensive to continue so I’m in the process of devolving my own affordable skin routine. A month ago I started the pill (birth control) & right before that my skin was going crazy, I think because I was trying new products. I think my skin is purging from products and the pill? I’ll post my now routine any suggestions will help but I think I’m on the right path finally 🤞🏼 The app has helped me a lot. PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength for wash OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner I use this toner HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater & Glycerin Atomizerthen spray this & I’m about to start sugergoop everyday spf 50 lotion. At night use DERMA•E - Vitamin C Intense Night Cream & I’m slowly using DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel

IS CLEAN BEAUTY WORTH IT?
for someone with oily, acne prone & sensitive skin, finding products that work is a tough game because the skin is so unpredictable. Clean beauty has been all the rage and I didn’t even realize how many products I have in my skincare stash that is considered “clean beauty” (Sephora standard) To me, clean beauty is not so important based on ingredients but if it’s sustainable for the environment and normally I don’t pay attention if I’m being honest but I truly need to be more of a conscious consumer now👍🏽😛 I think refillable packaging or even products that are biodegradable based on the package is a blessing. I really appreciate the glass packaging from herbivore products and same with farmacy ☺️ I also enjoy the fact that SF has a recycling program so after finishing their products, you can send back the packaging and they will properly recycle each part and send you a free mini jet lag mask 💕 I think a down from clean beauty is the idea of synthetic fragrance! Even though they may not have the synthetic versions, fragrance of any sort is highly irritating to us sensitive skin people and many people and to me, clean beauty should be keeping parabens as this a properly studied ingredients that allows the products to have a longer shelf life. Since removing parabens, a lot of people have issues where their products expire before being able to use the entire product. That’s not only a waste of someone’s money but a waste of the product as well🤦🏽‍♀️ and “clean” beauty is not cheap💸💸 so that’s a big loss a lot of times However the products in the picture are some favourites in my collection. My skin really doesn’t enjoy every product featured however I don’t over use ANY of these due to fragrance but they are really helpful for my oily and acne prone skin☺️🤗 OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser deep cleans my skin, has a gel line texture and has a beautiful orange scent. The PHAs in this really cleans out the skin well but gently and I really love this on any days I wear make to REALLY get the deep clean OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner helped clear my skin and keep it looking bright! My dark spots truly faded, my scaring came down and overall the top of my skin looked ans felt smoother! fresh - Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask another amazing mask to give your skin the SOFTEST and smoothest look ever. FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum amazing powerful chemical exfoliant, highly recommend!! + glass packaging HERBIVORE - Blue Tansy Mask works well, weird smell but gentle resurfacing mask SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask second tube, mg skin loves this even though I have sensitive skin, I just don’t over use it + it’s multipurpose FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask hydrating but too oily for my skin, dry skin would love! #cheriepartner

No more dark spots night time routine 🥱
Daily night time routine ✨😴 First, I like to wash my day off. I use Ole Henriksen truth juice daily cleanser OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser Then, I use OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner I use this toner on a cotton pad and apply all over my face and neck, I love this toner it’s been a life saver. No more dark spots, acne spots or discolouration! I follow it up with The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA I love this product but it can be harsh on the skin if you’re new to using it! Be careful and read up on it. I then use OLE HENRIKSEN - Invigorating Night Transformation Gel one of my favourite gel/ serums! Disclaimer I’m a huge ole fan I feel a lot of the products have been super good with my skin Next I use the OLE HENRIKSEN - Goodnight Glow Retin-Alt Sleeping Crème the smell alone is enough to make me keep using it. But this creamy moisturizer really locks in, and hydrates the skin over night. Next, it’s the eyes I use OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème both day and night I loooooove this eye cream it’s perfect before bed, for your morning skin care routine or before concealing your under eyes before make up! Finally, I just like to hydrate the lips FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Lip Therapy Goodnight 😴🙋🏽‍♀️

BOMB SERUMS TO ADD TO ANY SKINCARE ROUTINE💕
let’s talk about my favourite skincare product- SERUMS!🥳 Serums are some of the best skincare products out there because they allow for a more concentrated ingredient to overall help your skin for what it needs😊 For me, I suffer with acne, but hyperpigmention and sometimes need extra hydration, even if I am super oily so these are three awesome serums that really help my skin overall!😘 OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum a bomb vitamin C serum that really helps brighten my overall complexion while helping fade any dark spots! This product also has PHAs which is a gentler form of an AHA to help with surface level issues like acne and texture to really smooth your skin. 😛 I truly love this serum, it works wonderfully and you can see your skin glowing right after using it and it’s gentle for sensitive skins to use as well! But it still has a form of chemical exfoliation so I only use this every other day FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum an amazing AHA resurfacing serum I use in my PM routine! This legit makes your skin glow immediately but also the next morning you look radiant af!🤩 it also helps with any texture and acne along with pigmentation and overall evening out your skin tone as well! VOLITION - Snow Mushroom Water Serum this is a newer product in my routine I added for more hydration when I damaged my skin barrier snd my gosh did this blow me away!😱 this is some CRAY hydrating stuff. I have tried HA serums before but this one it’s def the best hydrating serum out there! You can legit immediately feel the boost in your skin, the plumpness that you can see and feel snd overall smoothening of your skin before applying other products. 💦 this is pricey but wow is it worth it! If you are oily snd need some extra hydration without weighing down your skin, this is at least a must try! WAY better than HA lol even though this is an HA 💫 Adding a vit c, a chemical exfoliation and hydrating serum to my routine has truly change my skin for the better and I can’t say enough good about all of them! 😝 #cheriepartner

My favorite serums- Vitamin C edition
Vitamin C serums are hard. You need to find a good one thats stable, has good packaging to maintain the stability, and you have to be able to recognize when its oxidized. I’ve found some great vit c serums that you need to use up right away- and some that are a bit more stable. L-ascorbic acid is the most unstable form of vitamin c, and all of these serums contain that ingredient. Probably the best two in terms of stability are the VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules and NEOSTRATA - Vitamin C Concentrate as they are single use products encapsulated in a single use packet like a capsule (neostrata) or an ampoule (vichy). Technically, VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules is a two-use product as you’re supposed to use half an ampoule during the day and the other half at night, but thats still a good way to keep the product stable. These ahould be stored in the dark to maintain their stability as well. I have to say I favour the Neostrata one because of the texture. Its such a silky texture, it doesnt feel liquidy like the rest, which my oily skin lovesss. OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum has an opaque package so light wont be able to get through, keeping the product stable for longer. It is naturally orange/yellow due to the banana powder in the product to immediately brighten the skin, so its hard to tell if its oxidized, but with its type of packaging, and if you use it up right away (no rotation) you should be good. three ships - Dew Drops Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum is a natural product source of vitamin c. The l-ascorbic acid content is from the kakadu plum making this product more stable as the vit c source is a plant extract and not the unstable chemical itself. I do have a coupon code to allow you to save 20% on their products- Three Ships is an amazing natural skincare brand! Enter LEENA20 at checkout! Lastly, VIVIER - Radiance Serum has the most stable formula- wirh vitamin e and ferulic acid to help keep the vitamin c in its most stable form, and its stored in a black bottle, keeping light from penetrating. It comes out as a clear serum, so itll be easy to detect oxidization. If used up right away, you should be good too. #cheriepartner

My Current Favourites!
These are some products I’ve been loving the past couple of months! These have become some of my favourite products and I would definitely repurchase them!  A little bit about my skin type is that I have combination, dehydrated skin that is acne prone in the summer and in the winter/fall I have dry skin. Why I love these products (mini review): ⭐️ Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream is probably one of my favourite moisturizers! It feels so moisturizing! It’s thick but it doesn’t suffocate my skin. It absorbs nicely into the skin while also giving it such an amazing glow! ⭐️Sioris Time is Running Out Mist was so hydrating! I love how it made me my skin feel so soft and moisturized. I like how there is oil in this face mist cause it helps me cut down on steps when I’m in a rush. ⭐️OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Face Primer gives a skin a really nice glow! Makes my makeup look really fresh and dewy and even without makeup it makes my skin look brightened. ⭐️Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative makes my hair really smooth and soft! I have pretty dry, heat damaged hair so this helps to conditions my ends. ⭐️Missha Time Revolution Artemsia Treatment Essence  is so great at calming my skin especially my breakouts!! I ⭐️Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner is good at exfoliating without stripping my skin. Its so refreshing to see a hydrating exfoliator so I know i’ll love this even when my skin is super dry. ⭐️bioderma Cicabio cream is great for my dry patches and works great eat repairing/healing my skin when its really senstiive. ⭐️ A'PIEU - Madecassoside Ampoule is so lightweight but it repairs and calms my skin down!

❄️C O L D P L U N G E❄️ I find
❄️C O L D P L U N G E❄️ I find the olehenriksen cold plunge pore mask to be the perfect mask for the summer months ahead. It is a detoxifying clay mask that claims to reduce oil & pore size as well as smooth skin. I think it does all of this PLUS the color is a gorgeous bright teal which just so happens to be my favorite color. It also left my skin feel refreshed and had a cooling effect after I rinsed. It is also my husbands favorite and he always wants to use it after a long day of yard work! 😜
