Low/High 💰 Dry Shampoo
The Batiste dry shampoo is one that works well, it smells pleasant (comes in various scents also), it is affordable, and at most drugstores. The one pitfall for me is it leaves a weird powdery film even after rubbing it in. Some may say “yOu’Re UsInG tOo MuCH,” but I (admittedly) wash my hair once a week. So I have to start using dry shampoo by day 3 atleast. The buildup from this dry shampoo is not my fave. O can feel it and it weighs down my hair. Price point is around $9. Holy. Grail. Dry Shampoo. Amika’s Perk Up* is honestly everythingggg. I love the way it smells (Amika’s signature scent is amazing), it DOES NOT weigh down my hair 👏🏻, it works extremely well, no white cast. Also, really cute packaging 😝 It is $25 and while some may say that is too expensive for a dry shampoo. I disagree because I am paying for something that works well and ticks off all my boxes. *Product was gifted but I have since repurchased a backup Batiste - Original Dry Shampoo Clean & Classic amika: - Perk Up Dry Shampoo

Amika perk up dry shampoo
amika: - Perk Up Dry Shampoo I’m new to this amika world, since I never really spend a lot of money on hair products but this is so worth it. Possibly the best dry shampoo I’ve used so far! It doesn’t leave any white cast, which is barely ever see in a dry shampoo. It makes my hair look like I just washed it even after 6 days and it feels soft, not crusty and dull. LOVE! It also makes my hair smell nice which I love, will be repurchasing the full size next time!

Cooling Conditioner
Amika Reset Cooling Gel Conditioner Product Function: Conditioner that helps to clarify the scalp, remove product build up and provide moisture to damaged hair Product Target Concerns: Remove build up and impurities while nourishing the scalp and providing moisture Texture/Consistency: Its a creamy gel consistency Thoughts: This worked really well at cleansing my scalp. I enjoyed the cooling sensation, but where this product unexpectedly got me is how soft this conditioner made my hair feel. I wasn't expecting that at all. It was a pleasant surprise to know that this conditioner designed for the scalp was working to also help my damaged hair. I enjoy this and would repurchase. Recommend to others: Yes, its a unique product that delivers.amika: - Reset Cooling Gel Conditioner

Amik Reset line
This is my first time trying shampoo and conditioner (as well as an oil cleanser) from @amika and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised! The reset line is supposed to deep clean the hair by removing all the products (mouses, oils, dry shampoos) and dirt from it. These products are supposed to be used once a week to reset your hair, but if you have very oily hair, you can use it as you see fit. Personally, I use it about 2/3 times a week, because my hair can get oily pretty quick. . The shampoo smells super clean and a bit of peppermint. Foams up easily and leaves the hair feeling refreshed and clean, but not too clean. The conditioner is creamy, but very light and not at all heavy. It also smells a little it of peppermint. As far as oil cleanser, I am still not 100% sure if it works for me. I’ve tried to use a little bit of it, then a lot, and in both cases I don’t feel it do anything for my hair or scalp. If you’ve used it and liked it, let me know how you use it! . Personally, I’m very happy with this line. I love how the shampoo and conditioner duo leaves my hair feeling. Each time I use them, it’s like a fresh start for my hair. I think this line is amazing for people who have oily hair, or use a lot of products in their hair. This does an amazing job at deep cleaning and refreshing the hair. What they do: 1- Reset Pink Charcoal Scalp Cleansing Oil- It has pink clay and charcoal, which gently draw out impurities and remove product build-up without stripping hair. 2- Reset Clarifying Shampoo attract dirt like a magnet to draw out impurities + remove product buildup, without stripping. Reset clarifying shampoo is not recommended for color treated hair 3- Reset Cooling Gel Conditioner It’s a gel formula that delivers hydration without the weight. It’s enriched with refreshing menthol, this formula soothes the scalp + restores moisture balance My thoughts: First I used the Cleansing Oil. It truly leaves your scalp feeling suuuuper clean! It smells amazing! You have to apply this to dry scalp. Do not wet your hair. After that I used the Clarifying Shampoo. It smells divine too! It leaves your hair feeling so so so clean and light! Love this stuff! This one is not recommended for color treated hair, but I still went ahead and used it. It did not strip my hair color at all and mind you, I’m a new redhead! Last step is the Cooling Conditioner. It’s cooling but not in an annoying way. It feels so good! My hair felt super soft and refreshed! After I styled my hair I noticed that my hair had volume! Which almost never happens! 😭 Pretty sure it’s because the Cleansing oil and Clarifying Shampoo got all the product build-up out of my hair. Truly love these three!

🌸Brand spotlight🌸AMIKA
🌸Ive decides to take a in-depth look at a salon-favorite hair brand, Amika, and see what I like & dislike! I usually am not a huge fan of sprays so this was a bit of a different review! But I enjoyed it😊 🌸What are the claims? •Amika Un-Dont Volume & Matte texture spray - A salt free, texturizing spray for sexy, soft, tousled look. With a matte finish, formulated •Amika Fluxus Flexible Hairspray - a flexible, buildable, hairspray that sets styles with anti frizz & anti humidity protection. For all hair types & textures, formulated for flexible hold, high humidity, & adds shine. •Amika Silken Up Dry Conditioner - A dry conditioner that weightlessly smooths, detangles & restores softness & shine without water. ✨Texture/Consistency? They are all sprays, so it’s hard to really tell. But on my hair, the Un-Done spray is very matte, and I have to be careful where I spray it or my hair will get tangly. The Fluxus hairspray is very lightweight & not sticky at all. The silken you’re dry conditioner isn’t greasy or oily at all & feels very nice on my hair. ✨My overall thoughts? This brand is defiantly not my favorite but I don’t hate it or dislike it! I enjoyed using the silken up & sometimes the hair spray. But the other products I just didn’t find much a reason so use them! My hair is very thick & wavy/curly so I have a lot of volume & texture but not enough moisture. The silken up was great at hydrating my hair without feeling greasy or heavy. The un done spray was a bit too drying for my hair, and I wouldn’t hardly use it so I wouldn’t repurchase. I might repurchase the dry conditioner but I also prefer a deep conditioner or a conditioning cream over this spray! I feel nothing is a need, just a want! 😊The scent is great, not my favorite but all of the products smell the same , a special Amika scent. 🌸Price Vs. Size? All of these products full size are $25, and they are different sizes. The hairspray is 8.1 oz, the dry conditioner is 5.1oz, & the un done spray is 5.3oz. They aren’t personally worth it for me to repurchase, but they have been & will be fun to use up! What will you try, or have you tried? What do you dislike/ like from the brand? 😊 amika: - Un.Done Volume and Matte Texture Spray amika: - Fluxus Touchable Hairspray amika: - Silken Up Dry Conditioner

Hair’s BFF 💁🏻‍♀️
This product adds exactly the something extra I need for my hair! Whether I am wanding it or using my straightner, it works wonders! I love the texture, scent, ease-of-use, and final look I can achieve with this product! I have fine hair, and I don’t find it to be heavy or stiff on my hair.

Tangled, not wavy
Bushwick...unfortunately I’m not a fan. I tried it both wet and dry and it just kind of tangled my hair together and made it hard to finger comb out (I only use an actual comb fresh out of the shower. I finger comb at night and in the morning to preserve the waves and curls I get). It didn’t do much for my waves, it actually seemed to straighten them out. It was non-drying but I didn’t get texture and some pieces felt straw-like. Maybe this would work better on non-fine, non-frizz prone hair. But I know that a lot of other people have had the same issues. Unmet because a no-salt wave spray sounded so good! I’m interested in trying Un.Done because that may work better for me.

Amika beach babe starter pack and I’m in love with this waver 😍 Something about having stick-straight hair all my life makes me crave curly/wavy hair. I’ve tried all sorts of curlers, wands and even chemical treatments over the years, but never a waver like this! It was fun to use and really easy to get used to. The biggest issue for me is that I have the thickest hair on the planet and if I’m not careful, this waver can make me frizzy real quick. So I’m definitely getting the hang of it still in terms of how much of my hair I should use it on, but I really like the end result! Swipe to see my hair (and my lil family 💕) • As far as the bushwick spray goes, I’m not a huge fan because it makes my hair pretty sticky and crunchy. It does do a great job of defining the waves though, so if you don’t mind having a lil bit of stickiness, this works great!

amika: - Signature Replenishing Body Wash one of the things I love about amika the most is honestly the fact that all of their products smell amazing! I LOVE good smelling hair products so when they came out with A body wash I knew I had to have it! This does not disappoint, it smells like the typical amika product. 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭
𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞! 🛀🏻⁣ ⁣ Sometimes we get so caught up during the week that sometimes we don’t have time to 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 (you know)...let alone have the time style it?! 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑! I’m talking about putting your hair up in a bun...& sometimes with some questionable smells & maybe if you’re more on the oily side your hair feels like an olive oil grease party...party of 1! Not to mention...it looks like a lackluster flop of hair.⁣ ⁣ 💭 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨? 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 ?! ⁣ ⁣ I have to admit when I first heard of the concept of a “𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨” I was immediately grossed out & wanted nothing to do with it..little did I know I was way 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃. ⁣ ⁣ 🍵 Here is the 𝐓𝐞𝐚 on a product I thought was the biggest waste of money & time.⁣ ⁣ 💨 In retrospect a DS is really just an oil absorbing powder that when it is applied to the hair it can soak up excess grease & dirt without getting it wet. 𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫, it also adds volume to droopy hair, texture & it can also make your hair smell nice IF you’re into that! ⁣ ⁣ 💨 I wanted to 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐝𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐬 that made me go from being a skeptic to always having a dry shampoo in my stash! ⁣ ⁣ 💨 𝐎𝐔𝐀𝐈 @theouai 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨. Some people complained about the scent being too strong but I happen to enjoy it. And secondly 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐤𝐚 @amika 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐤 𝐔𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨*! These both not only makes my hair feel fresh but makes it look fresh...so you’d never know how long it’s been since my last “wash!” ⁣ ⁣ ✏️ I want to also say that washing your hair too much (𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟) can overly dry your scalp which can lead to dandruff so if you really want to see what works for you conduct a little experiment & see how long it takes for your hair to reach that “washing” point & go from there!⁣
