Christophe Robin Purifying Scrub Review
[PRODUCT REVIEW] Hair Christophe Robin - Cleansing Purifying Scrub With Sea Salt Vegan Cruelty free Contains less than 1% of synthetic fragrance What it is: A scalp scrub shampoo paste. It contains sea salt and sweet almond oil. It exfoliates, removes product buildup and also rebalances itchy/flaky scalps. Texture: Thick paste with coarse sea salt in it. Fresh and light scent. How I use it: I use this scrub in place of my regular shampoo about once a week. I make sure to comb through and detangle my hair before wash. I apply about a dime size to wet hair, add water and massage. The sea salt dissolves and it will lather. After I rinse it out I make sure to use a conditioner. I don’t think it makes my hair feel any “dryer” than a silicone free shampoo. My experience: This is my second or third empty! I’ve been using this product on and off since 2018 and it will stay in my rotation. I have fine, thin, and limp hair plus oily scalp. And I used to bleach and color my hair a lot. I really love how this scrub completely cleanses my scalp and gives my hair volume. This mini size lasts a long time.

THIS vs THAT: Scalp Scrub Edition
Today I’m going to be comparing two of the most popular scalp scrubs out there: 🔹Christophe Robin - Cleansing Purifying Scrub With Sea Salt 🔸Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo I first tried a travel size of the briogeo scrub from my Sephora bday gift last year and have since used another travel size and repurchased the full size. I picked up the CR scrub and have been using for about a month and a half now. I only do a scalp scrub 1x per week max in place of shampoo so it takes me a while to get through these products making them well worth the price. Here’s a few notes on each one: SCENT 🔹clean, herby scent that reminds me of being at an aveda hair salon 🔸Girl Scout thin-mint cookies...I saw this description from several people and didn’t believe it but it is spot on Overall, I like the Christophe Robin scrub more for its scent. Both these scrubs contain added fragrance which hasn’t bothered me but is something to note if you’re extra sensitive. 🔹 TEXTURE 🔹thick creamy base with chunky salt that can be difficult to spread all over the scalp 🔸thinner base with well incorporated, small plant grains that’s easy to use and gently scrubs For me, the Briogeo scrub feels gentler and easier to use. The granules are evenly distributed and gentler on my scalp 🔸 KEY INGREDIENTS 🔹sea salt to exfoliate, almond oil to hydrate and soothe 🔸charcoal to detox, coconut oil to hydrate, peppermint + tea tree to soothe RESULTS 🔹this scrub foams up a ton, though I do have trouble sometimes breaking up the big salt chunks in the scrub. This leaves my scalp feeling VERY clean - almost too clean, which is probably a result of the SLS as the second ingredient. I have noticed my scalp is a little irritated if I use this too often but for occasional use (~every 10 days) or to really beat back buildup I do like it 🔸the small plant particles very gently exfoliate the scalp and this scrub lathers well. My scalp and roots feel very nourished after using this and clean but never stripped I prefer the way my scalp feels after using the Briogeo scrub I prefer the results I get with the Briogeo scrub 🔸 COST 🔹$42 for 8oz 🔸$53 for 8.3oz Briogeo is better value for basically the same size 🔸 PAO 🔹 6 months 🔸 18 months I probably couldn’t get through a full size in 6mo so Briogeo is my clear winner here! 🔸 THE OVERALL WINNER: 🔸Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo Despite the amazing scent of the Christophe Robin scrub, Briogeo is the clear winner for me! It fits so seamlessly into my routine, is easy to use, and leaves my scalp feeling absolutely amazing! After falling in love with this scrub, I’ve purchased several more Briogeo products and love the way my hair feels while using them! 💛 What’s your favorite scalp scrub?

A hair mask that brings damaged hair back to life!!!✨
If you have damaged dry and dull hair, and you need to save urgently, please try this hair mask!I would highly recommend Living proof. - Restore Mask Treatment ️   My hair have been dyed and bleached for many years. Every day I use curling irons to style my hair. My hair feels like straw.😭This hair mask has white paste texture, and trust me, your hair will be deeply nourished and repaired. Step 1 After the shampoo is used up, dry your hair until it does not drip, then divide the hair into sections and apply the hair masks one by one. Be sure to apply it carefully. If you have straw-like hair, apply it more. Step 2 Then steam with evaporation cap for 15 minutes and adjust the temperature to about 60 ℃. Step 3 After steaming, rub your hair with a little water and start to massage your hair. Remeber don't massage the scalp!!! And then wash it off. Step 4 Blow your hair and apply this leave-in hair mask. The effect is amazing! You can get silky and smooth hair, just like the celebrity in shampoo advertisement. I see a lot of people say Christophe Robin - Regenerating Mask with Prickly Pear Seed Oilis better. I also bought and used it several times. It is cost-effective, but the effect of repairing and nourishing , nourishment are weaker than living proof. KÉRASTASE - Crème Chronologiste Hair Mask I have been using it all the time. I haven't found anything better than it over the years. The cons is that the price is higher, but I won't rebuy in the future. The repair effect of living proof hair mask is better than that of Kerastase, and it is affordable.

😱I only use it once and see the instant effect
Christophe Robin - Regenerating Mask with Prickly Pear Seed Oil This hair treatment's rich formula penetrates the hair for a deep and long-lasting result. Prickly pear seed oil provides antioxidant and regenerative benefits while plant ceramides restructure hair to make it stronger and shinier. Inula extracts help to protect and revive pigments. The smell of the Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask alone smells like seventy-one dollars. The aroma reminds me of a high-end department store in France where I can’t even afford a pair of socks. I don’t know what rare prickly pear seed oil smells like, but the scent reminds me of milk and honey and remains long after the mask is rinsed off. The creamy formula coats strands and it feels as if your hair is drinking a glass of fancy, delicious custard. An extravagant custard cashmere sweater, if you can imagine, envelopes your strands. You just need a small scoop of product and work it through from scalp to ends.  I have tried many masks, some more popular than this, but this is genuinely the best. I am now on my second tub and I have converted my sister and mum to it! It gives hair a certain softness and shine that I never got with other masks. My hair (which is quite long) is like butter, and it really helps with split ends. It also doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. The price is steep but it is worth the splurge. I use it sparingly, roughly once a week, and it has kept my hair so healthy. You can leave it on for ten minutes for great results but I prefer to leave mine on for longer to try and get the most out of it. Genuinely impressed! The jar recommends letting the mask sit for five minutes. However, I leave the mask on for seven minutes to really enjoy the luxurious experience and to also shave my legs. It’s called multitasking guys! The mask rinses clean and when I step out of the shower, I feel like a million bucks. Whether you like to blow, or air dry your hair, the mask leaves your hair soft with a healthy sheen. This product is great for those who use heat styling products and/or have color treated hair. My hair is on the thick and coarse side with a bit of heat damage, so I like to use the mask about once every two weeks. While the price is steep, it’s worth trying. Any recommendation for hair masks?😜

These two famous products for dry & coarse hiar—— worth or not?
1. LUSH Happy Happy Joy Joy Hair Conditioner I am loving my quest to find my ultimate lush haircare products. It had so far been lots of fun trying out different products and I have also found a few gems that I would never have thought I would love.  Over that last year my hair has had a rapid growth spurt and is now pretty long. I never use to be a big conditioner person as I found it made my hair quite greasy, but I now adore the stuff and find it a necessity for my easily tangled hair. This meant the the range of lush conditioners was one of the product types that I was most looking forward to trying.  Happy Happy Joy Joy is not an ordinary conditioner. lush describe it as a conditioning hair perfume. containing almond milk, jojoba oil, neroli oil, grapefruit oil, rose and orange flower waters. This conditioner is designed cheer you and others up as your hair catches on the breeze enveloping you in its uplifting fragrance. The Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner is pretty pricey with a 100g bottle costing £9.75 and a 490g bottle costing £31.95 . For this reason I would say that this conditioner is defiantly more of a luxury product and I personally wouldn’t use it as my every day conditioner. I would instead save it for if I was going out and special occasions. When using this conditioner I found that it was a very light conditioner. Although this is brilliant in the respect that it doesn’t weigh your hair down, I found that it really wasn’t conditioning enough for my hair and also found my hair to be very tangled after using it.  Scent wise this product does exactly what it says on the bottle and adds a subtle perfume to the hair that can be smelt continually throughout the day. I could still pick up on the scent several days after washing my hair. I personally am however not a fan of the scent at all. It smells very floral and reminds me of wild flowers and cottage gardens. This type of scent personally just isn’t my type of scent but if you like your floral scents I can see this product being lovely or you.  Overall I was quite disappointed with this product and wouldn’t be rushing to buy it again. This is mainly due to the price which I feel is a little high for me and also due to the fact I don’t really like the scent. I also don’t think this conditioner works great for my hair type. I however love the idea of the product and it would be lovely to see some other hair perfumes in different scents. 2. Christophe Robin - Cleansing Volumizing Paste With Pure Rassoul Clay And Rose Extracts This 85% natural origin formula is a unique blend of pure Rassoul, with densifying and re-mineralizing benefits, protective rose extracts and Limnanthes extract to help preserve and enhance the hair colour. This surprising paste-like texture transforms into a light foam, for instant volume at the roots and density down its length. This is such a cool, new way to shampoo and volumize your hair! I love how it starts as a mess-free clay (think a thick sugar scrub consistency) and then turns into a fluffy foam. It really cleanses well! As far as the volumizing goes, I feel that it does really well. It smells amazing! Smells like Roses! I noticed a huge difference using the Cleansing Volumizing Shampoo Paste and Conditioner. It definitely gives your hair volume and thickness after applied. The shampoo turns from clay to foam. The shampoo’s texture intensify’s the thickness of your hair. After the shampoo is rinsed off and your hair will feel pasty. But don’t you worry the conditioner helps with the pasty texture. Once applied It starts to feel so smooth again. They work so well together! But be warned if you do not like for your hair to feel pasty then this is not the product for you! After your hair is fully dried it will still feel a little pasty but your hair will definitely have volume and feel thick. I will definitely be using this shampoo from now on. It gave me some volume and this is really hard to do because my hair is so heavy it’s always weighed down. It is really interesting to use because it’s thick and a little course which made me feel like I was getting extra clean because my hair tends to be oily. It gave my hair a great glow and to top it of it smells SO GOOD and the smell actually stayed with my hair! Tell me your feeling if you used either of them!

Use the Right Way to Create More Volume in Your Hair👧
I believe how to add volume to hair is a lifelong lesson for straight hair girls. My hair is straight, plus soft and thin. I think this is one of the worst cases for straight hair, that my hair naturally appears to be no volume at all. My hair sticks on my head all the time and makes my face looks big, aka ugly. I’ve used several tools to volumize my hair, but they didn’t work well for me. For example, I tried to use a curling iron to curl the root of my hair. But the volume I got through this way is not enough for me, and it doesn’t last for a long time. About one or two hours after I curl it, it starts to lose the volume and become flat again. Also, I don’t have time every morning to curl my hair. As I was doing my research on how to add volume to hair, I figured out that shampoo can have a good effect on my flat, thin hair. Then I tried some volumizing shampoo, and I found theChristophe Robin - Cleansing Volumizing Paste With Pure Rassoul Clay And Rose Extracts works very well on my hair. This paste does deliver volume on my hair. My hair gains much volume after using it and the effect is able to last two to three days. Before my hair becomes oily, my hair roots will have a nice and fluffy curl. This needs zero extra work and styling skills. All I need to do is washing my hair regularly. What’s more, this paste can not only clean your hair, but also clean your scalp. Most shampoo can only clean the hair, girls. In days I am very busy, I wash my hair only once a week. My scalp would still feel itchy after washed using other shampoo. However, this paste makes my hair clean and fresh no matter how dirty and oily my hair was. This is such a must-have shampoo for lazy girls! Let me know if you have any questions.

Blonde Shade Variation Mask: Did it Work?
I tried the Christophe Robin - Shade Variation Mask in the “Baby Blonde” shade. The mask claims to enhance blonde hair by correcting brassy tones in highlighted blonde hair. The mask is a temporary lightening treatment, as it washed out in about 3 washes. Application: The mask was a thick and creamy texture, and I used quite a bit on my entire head of hair and waited 25 minutes l. I could tell the mask made my hair feel soft, and there was no purple dye color that transferred on to my hands or leaked onto anything while I was waiting. Results: I didn’t notice a huge change in my hair color, my blonde highlights didn’t seem much lighter. I did notice the blonde seemed brighter and my hair felt nice and soft after use of the mask, much like I had used a moisturizing leave in conditioner. Overall I was disappointed in the color results, although, my hair is already light, so maybe that is why I didn’t see much of a change. I did like the feeling it left my hair. Christophe Robin has a darker shade variation mask, I am curious if it will temporarily darken my blonde hair.

Treat ur oily scalp! Christophe Robin or Briogeo
Treat ur oily scalp! Christophe Robin or Briogeo
I have an oily scalp, which annoying me for a while. I have two scalp treatments to share with you gals that are aiming at the oily scalp. Let's see which one truly works on my scalp problem. Christophe Robin Purifying Scalp Scrub with Sea Salt $53 / 246ml My sales recommend me Christophe Robin Scalp Scrub to save my oily scalp. This item is really popular. So, I decided to give a try. It is a scalp exfoliator and shampoo that claims to clean and soothes sensitive/ oily scalps. The ingredient contains sea salt that could remove scalp residue. It also comes with sweet almond oil to provide hydration and soothing for the scalp. The texture of it is very creamy and heavy, but easy to get rich foam. It cleans my scalp thoroughly that makes my scalp feel so clean and nice. It does have soothing benefits as it claims. BTW, the smell is really nice too, fresh and clean. I use it twice a week instead of shampoo. It saved my oily scalp. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliation Shampoo $43 / 236ml I bought this one a few months earlier than the Christopher Robin one. I bought it because it's clean beauty and has quite a few positive feedbacks. It aims at solving the same problem. The key benefits of this Shampoo are to detoxifies and removes buildup, hydrates the scalp, and soothes itchy/flaky scalp. For my experience, I felt it clean my scalp well and smells very refreshing. It feels very calming and cooling on the scalp. The charcoal ingredient also does a great job on detoxifying my scalp. The coconut oil prevents the scalp from dryness. I use this product once every 1-2 weeks. Both of them work well on my oily scalp. But I love Christopher Robin better, as the smell of it is nice, and it cleanses my scalp more thoroughly. You can see in the picture I post, I'm almost finishing it. It's a bit pricy than Briogeo ($10 more). I think the Briogeo product is more suitable for a very sensitive scalp. You could make a decision by your own preference.

In all honesty, I bought this for the smell. Such a delicious powdery rose smell. I have super thick frizzy hair and definitely do not need the volume. Or so I thought. But after going 3 days without washing, applying this on my greasy hair felt amazing. My hair felt fresher, clean and so bouncy! Voluminous but not in a lions mane kinda way. I do believe that most products impact you in the way they made you feel rather than what they actually did for you. Just like people. This paste did a great job cleansing and is definitely a repurchase for me.

Christophe Robin - Regeneratin
Christophe Robin - Regenerating Mask with Prickly Pear Seed Oil I loveee this mask!! This is my second sample of it. It is quite pricey so I’ve yet to purchase it but I do think it’s the best hair mask I’ve ever used to whether or not that makes it worth the price is up to you. I don’t love the smell, but I’m willing to look past that for its incredible results. Totally recommend!!
