Follow this 3-step morning skincare to give your skin extra sleep😴
A good morning makes a good day. But…I just hope to have a few extra minutes in bed before going to work! As a girl, we have to accept the fact that we spend much time on our morning skincare and makeup. After being late for work several times, I decided to simplify my skincare steps to save the sleeping time in the morning. This is absolutely not a rash decision, because if you know your skin type and understand what it needs, moist? whitening? antioxidant? or anti-aging? You just use the targeted products then. Let me tell you my 3-step skincare in the morning. 1. Facial cleaning Some may directly omit facial cleanser in the morning to simplify the skincare process. But there are bacteria, mite, and dust on the pillow and quilt, so a facial cleanser is needed. It's just that you don't need an overly strong cleanser, choose a relatively mild amino acid cleanser to avoid skin irritation, especially for sensitive skin. #EltaMD - Foaming Facial Cleanser[products]#[FiveStars] I use a star product--EltaMD Foaming Facial Cleanser. I will put one pump of this foaming facial cleanser in my hands and apply it to my face. After about 10 seconds of scrubbing gently on my face, it creates a dense foam. Gentle enough, I like that it’s fragrance-free and fresh feeling. One more advantage is that it doesn’t cause any discomfort to my sensitive skin. 2. Moisturizing The skin and body both in the morning are in a state of water shortage, so hydrating appears important. So after cleansing your face, be sure to use skincare products with moisturizing effects. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Toner Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 30 I usually apply Kiehl’s facial toner and moisturizer. They absorb quickly and do enough job of moisturizing. Great for dry skin! 3. UV protection Generally, 9-11 o 'clock is the time with the strongest ultraviolet ray in the morning, so sunblock should be an everyday necessary project. Wearing sunscreen can effectively resist the harm of ultraviolet rays to the skin, prevent aging skin. Murad - City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 / PA++++ Murad Mineral Sunscreen is my choice. This is a physical sunblock, which I feel is safer and healthier than a chemical one. It blends in easily and doesn’t feel heavy, leaving any extra layer on the face. It protects my skin well as I’m always exposed to the sun.

💖My secret UV protection weapon💖
I've purchased all four of the following sunscreens at least twice. I highly recommend them! Kiehl's Ultra-Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA++++ Anti-Pollution (I personally think that it's suitable for dry skin, so if you have oily skin, test it out before buying it) Feeling: I've read online that it provides great UV protection. I never stay in the sun for too long and I only used it during daily work, but my skin did not darken. It has a runny consistency with a lotion texture which spreads easily on the skin but settles on the skin slowly. I think it's more suitable for fall and winter use. For spring and summer, I'll also replace the moisturizer or facial cleanser with this sunscreen after using a toner and a serum for an even greater moisturizing effect. It brightens skin complexion and gives it a natural radiance. It also blends well with follow-up foundation when it's used as a primer. Murad - City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 / PA++++ (Suitable for all skin types) Feeling: It has a correction liquid texture which is very lightweight and spreads easily. It evens out skin tone and brightens skin complexion, making it suitable for those who have places to go to but don't want to wear makeup. CLARINS - UV PLUS Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Multi-Protection Tint SPF 50(Suitable for all skin types) Feeling: It has the same correction liquid texture as the Murad sunscreen, is very lightweight, and spreads easily as well, making it suitable to be used all year round. It has three shades including transparent, pink, and blue. After using and comparing the transparent and pink ones, I strongly recommend the pink one which helps even out and lighten skin tone. AMPLEUR - Luxury White W Protect UV Plus SPF 50+ PA++++ (Suitable for all skin types) Feeling: It has more of a lotion texture when compared with Kiehl's sunscreen, but it really spreads very easily. It's refreshing and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy, settling on the skin fast. It's very moisturizing, so it's suitable for use all year round.

One Year Progress
Exactly one year apart! I started my skincare journey 9 months ago. I primarily use Glow Recipe, but am slowly venturing out and replacing my lesser favorites of their products. These are some of my tips and holy grails! GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream holy crap this stuff really helped my redness, that was my biggest skin concern 2-3 times a week I do a chemical and physical exfoliant, I got this one in a boxy charm box and fell in love. I would recommend doing this in the shower and leaving it on your face for a couple minutes to really absorb the acids. Also I would recommend skipping the serums and night masks after this. Just use toner, eye cream, and moisturizer. Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser I mix a vitamin C serum in with my AHA every other morning. I’m undwerwhelmed with GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple-C Bright Serum I don’t hate it, but I think I can find better once I run out. However I love their GLOW RECIPE - Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum it is gentle enough (for my skin) to use every morning and night, and one pump is all you need! double cleansing is a must! I’ll just use the tiniest bit of GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm even when I’m not wearing makeup because it has a lot of good ingredients for your skin. However if your skin is feeling dry, I’d skip it and just use a water based cleanser. I am also underwhelmed with GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser I’m going to use it for before and after my workouts, but not worth the price point. Plus it is irritating if it gets in your eyes. I just ordered FARMACY - Whipped Greens: Oil-Free Foaming Cleanser With Moringa and Papayafor my morning and night cleanser and I am beyond excited to try it. a nice spray is a must! I use it after I cleanse and after I shower. J.R. WATKINS - Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Spray this stuff is soo good!! My face is so soft after I have to force myself not to touch it. I loved GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist but I got to say I like the Heritage one and it is wayy cheaper. don’t be afraid of supplements! I just got some vitamin E supplements and I’ve been taking magnesium and collagen everyday too. lastly look into anti-aging pillows and silk/satin pillowcases. This is especially important for side sleepers. If you sleep on your side, you are smushing your face against it. When you are young, your skin is elastic enough to bounce back, but you’re hurting your skin over time. YourFacePillow - Anti Wrinkle Back & Side Sleeping Pillow

My Worst Products of 2020
1. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample : I’m gonna need Drunk Elephant to go to the lab a 10th time because this cleanser is not it. Despite this cleanser having a “mild surfactant blend”, it honestly feels like applying apricot Softsoap on the face. It’s incredibly drying and leaves a film on the face. I’m not a It also doesn’t take off makeup properly. I immediately ditched it after a second use. I am NOT a chemist, but I honestly think the cleanser should be reformulated to have more emollient ingredients. 2. Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser Their magenta line is more targeted towards people who have dry skin. Many dry skin people like myself have sensitive skin. A cleanser with both physical AND chemical exfoliation can be harsh for any skin type, but ESPECIALLY for people with dry/sensitive skin. Also, the lay person who doesn’t know skincare and how often to exfoliate can easily over-exfoliate since the product is marketed as a cleanser. My initial ignorance of skincare plus the overall harshness of this product caused my skin barrier to become severely weak and damaged. Better to use a gentle cleanser and then a leave on exfoliant. 3. Murad - Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture This moisturizer is 75 dollars. When a 75 dollar moisturizer promises 24 hour moisture, it should deliver on its promise. After 4 hours of usage, my skin felt dry and tight again. For a moisturizer that boasts about its “advanced hyaluronic acid technology”, hyaluronic acid is pretty low on the ingredient list. The intense markup on this is probably due to the Retinyl palmitate, a retinol derivative. I give it two stars because it did slightly fade a fine line by my mouth, but this moisturizer failed in it’s basic duty/main reason of purchase: moisturizing. Not only did I use this year to become more educated about skincare, but a big lesson I learned is more expensive does not always mean better!

Reviewing My Followers Skincare Routines pt. 3
Hey y’all! Today’s post is part 3 of 4 of my Reviewing My Followers Skincare Routines series. In today’s post we’re covering @geralorentas and @robynkenner ! Starting with @geralorentas. She starts out by cleansing with theCeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser which costs $13 for 8 fl oz. This cleanser has super gentle exfoliating agents, as well as glycerin and Hylaronic acid which are very hydrating. Next she uses theRENÉE ROULEAU - Rapid Response Detox Toner which costs $41 for 6 fl oz. This toner, as far as toners go, is pretty good. Its main draws are Salicylic acid and Lactic acid which are great for dealing with acne. Next she uses theSKIN GRAMMAR - Super Good Repair Essence which costs $38 for 5.7 fl oz. This essence has Nicinamide and glycerin, as well as a ton of ceramides. Unfortunately it has orange peel oil. Citrus oils a extracts are extremely irritating to the skin because they are acidic, so I have to say no to this essence. Next she uses the RENÉE ROULEAU - Vitamin C&E Treatment which costs $69 for 1 fl oz. It has glycerin, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C, but again it has citrus oils and extracts which make this another no for me. Then to moisturize she goes in with the#Dr. zenovia - Peptide + Ceramide Moisturizer[products]#[FourStars] which costs $79 for 1.7 fl oz. This moisturizer has ceramides and glycerin. Finally she goes in with theLA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Anti-shine Dry Touch Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ which I couldn’t find the price for. It’s a really good basic sunscreen. So that’s @geralorentas routine. For her I would recommend getting rid of the essence and the treatment, but otherwise the products seem great! Moving on to @robynkenner. She starts with a double cleanse, and we’ll talk in a minute about what she’s doing wrong. She starts with the The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser which costs $7.90 for 1 fl oz. The main ingredients in this are squalane and glycerin. A lot of people complain that this cleanser is so gentle is barely cleans, but it seems to work for @robynkenner. Then she uses theMurad - Clarifying Cleanser which costs $32 for 6.75 fl oz. The main draw for this product is Salicylic acid, but again it’s a no because of citrus oils and extracts as well as fragrance. Now I mentioned that she’s double cleansing wrong. Double cleansing isn’t just using 2 cleansers, it’s specifically using an oil based cleanser and then a water based cleanser. (Check out my post on double cleansing for more information) In this case, @robynkenner is using 2 water based cleansers which can be stripping to the skin, and isn’t considered double cleansing. She mentioned she started doing this because her skin didn’t feel clean with just the first cleanse, and I think this might be because the Squalane Cleanser is too gentle. Next she uses theNeutrogena - Hydro Boost Eye Gel-Cream which costs $25 for .5 fl oz. First off, eye cream should be at the end of a routine. The eye cream itself is great though. Next she usesThe Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution which costs $8.70 for 8 fl oz. I talked about this product in pt. 1, but in short it’s really good. And finally she uses the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream which costs $36 for 6 fl oz. This is a nice super thick basic moisturizer. So in conclusion @robynkenner, I’d try to find a new cleanser, then just add your eye cream after moisturizer instead of early in the routine. That’s all for pt. 3! Please cheer for this post if you liked it, comment below your favorite cleansers to help out @robynkenner, and follow me to join the family and for similar content. -Mae

Morning Skincare Routine ☀️💛✨
I just posted my nightly skincare routine and now I wanted to show you what I do differently in the morning. 😊☀️ First I start with my cleanser Murad - Clarifying Cleanser which I went into detail in my last post about my likes and dislikes. Check it out if you want more information. Sometimes I swap this one for Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser if I feel like it’s too much on my skin and I want something more gentle just to wash and nothing more. Next I do my eye cream (reviewed in nightly routine post) Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Eye Gel-Cream After the eyes I do a spot treatment on those random pimples that pop up (only when necessary). Murad - Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment Along with the spot treatment I’ll apply some Murad - Outsmart Acne Clarifying Treatment only if my acne is really bad. It helps to clear it up faster but I rated it 3 stars because it’s got kind of a sticky feel afterwards which isn’t the nicest feeling but it gets the job done. Later I use FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream which I love!!! It’s so hydrating, the texture is heavy but when you rub it in it feels lightweight. The only reason I took off a star is because I feel like it’s not the best moisturizer for my oily skin but on the days when my skin is more dry it works wonders! I even put some on my hands because you only need to apply a little amount. Murad - Oil and Pore Control Mattifier Broad Spectrum SPF 45 PA++++ Can’t forget the SPF! I know there’s probably cheaper brands than this but this has been my favorite SPF I’ve used because again it’s not heavy, it’s hydrating, and it is very good on my oily skin. After the SPF, apply a little bit of the JLo Beauty That Blockbuster Cream under my eyes because it does give a bit of a glow that I look for. It was a free trial size but I probably won’t purchase the full thing because it’s not that amazing. I haven’t noticed major changes or anything. To finish off my routine I’ll either immediately spritz some CAUDALIE - CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir on my face or I’ll use it as a setting spray if I’m apply makeup. The smell isn’t amazing but it feels so refreshing and it’s exactly what I need at the end of all these products. Can’t forget my new favorite lip balm Hello ORGANICS - CBD Vegan Lip Balm Natural Sweet Mint Flavor it’s a bit oily feeling but it smells divine and it’s great to use right before whatever lipgloss I’m wearing (if any). Do you use any of the same products or have you had experience with them? Write your thoughts in the comments below! 🖤✨🙏🏻🥰

New moisturizer alert!✨
So I took the advice of many on my last post and decided to drop the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel . I was disappointed to do so, considering I have had such great luck in the past with other Murad products, but sadly this wasn’t it for me! Although this stuff went on like BUTTER, I found out it had some pretty heavy duty sulfate properties in it, which is a big no-no for my pores and acne prone skin. The fragrance was also incredibly strong, which I didn’t quite mind as that stuff has never truly bothered me in the past, but after a weird breakout once incorporating that product, as well as the COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, and reading all the kind and helpful replies, I said goodbye to the moisturizer and returned it for.....🥁🥁🥁 COSRX - Propolis Light Cream !!! Now, finally an entire K-Beauty routine!! I have only been using the cream for about two days, however, it’s genuinely as soft as the Murad moisturizer , if not more. Plus, NO fragrance! and NO sulfates!!!! The last two days I’ve woken up, my skin has for once felt so hydrated in the morning, not too oily, and not too dry! I will keep tabs on this one for sure, before I give it too much credit, but I think she’s likely to stay safe and sound in my routine 😂 Have you ever tried this product? What did you think?!

This Moisturizer Saved My Skin
I lost a real one today guys. Through some of my worst skin moments the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel has been with me through it all. My skin is very acne prone so I needed an oil free moisturizer that would intensely hydrate my skin. This fits the bill perfectly. It’s so so rich and feels amazing and cooling on the skin. It is very lightweight, but the feeling does linger on your skin for a while. It’s not enough for me to take marks off because of how hydrating it is though. The product claims you only need a dime sized amount, but I definitely use more than that (maybe a quarter size?) every time. It is quite expensive coming in at $62 for 1.7 oz, but I can’t say enough about how amazing it is so if you have oily, acne prone skin, but still need hydration I highly recommend you try this out. PS the last of my product did end up drying up into a solid gel, but due to it being a water based product you can go ahead and add a few drops of tap water to reconstitute it and it’s good as new!!

Quick reviews on samples
To take a page from my friend @Mallorywho does #samplesaturday - sharing mine a day late 🤗 To purchase list (TPL)- YES or NO? alpyn beauty - PlantGenius Melt Moisturizer While I only got two 2 of this in 1 day, am & pm, I was able to determine it’s not for me. The scent was off-putting, a very natural scent which I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t linger. It’s also got some oils in it that can be irritating. At $60 this is a very pricey moisturizer. It claims the benefits of Bakuchiol (retinol alternative), Squalane and Vitamin C BUT you don’t see these ingredients until over half way through the ingredient list! TPL - NO REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm $49 I really liked this. I like to really moisturize up at night so I would add my nightly moisturizer and top off with a thin layer of this balm. I had no issues with a sticky mess and my hair (or pet hair) all over my face as I have had with a previous balm. One ⭐️ taken for fragrance. TPL - YES DIOR - Capture Dreamskin Care & Perfect A gorgeous primer/serum but incredibly overpriced at $120! Not as fragrant as some I’ve used before being it has the added fragrance but there are more reasonably priced options available, Tatcha’s primer even being half the price! TPL - NO TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream $60 This eye cream is THICK! It’s more like a balm that is meant to melt into your skin. For me it was hard to spread around my eye area. I would try to warm up between my fingers first but just didn’t find it easy to work with. I’m not a fan of using fragrance around my eyes either. While I love Tatcha I have other eye creams I’d rather use. I also did not like product in this type of container, very small and not sanitary given the texture. TPL - NO SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment $120. I believe I’ve talked about this one before. It is such a small sample but a tiny (pea-size) amount is only needed. So I was able to determine this was non-irritating to my skin. It’s got a pretty decent ingredient list except for the fragrance. I prefer using Farmacy’s Honeymoon Glow with AHA & BHA at half the price. TPL - NO Murad - Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum $72. While I initially thought this was working for me I’ve realized it may have brightened some areas of skin but did not help fade or reduce my spots. A pretty simple serum to use with no issues in my routine. TPL - NO LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer $33 A HIGHLY popular toner that has a pretty simple ingredient list. I love a good hydrating toner and this hits the spot! It’s easy to transfer from my hands to my face and my skin drinks it up. I was able to add as many layers as I’d like without any side effects. Only downside is Laneige is not cruelty free. TPL - NO ❤️🍒

Empties - will I repurchase?
I complied them all together, my empties over the last few months, and will split into two posts. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads I love these for the convenience. They are daily treatments pads with lactic and glycolic acids to safely exfoliate the skin, helping it appear brighter and approve texture. I was able to use these daily if I wished but being I use a retinol I didn’t use them on the night I would use my retinol. For me, they didn’t pack enough punch. I’ve been using a lot one my face over the last few years and while I still have to be careful, I find there are products that just don’t do it for me. These would be great for beginners or those with sensitive skin. 60 pads for $34 - again I liked the convenience but I feel you get more bang for your buck with a liquid exfoliate cause I sure get more then 60 uses out of mine. ⭐️No-repurchase CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Solution Set I’ve reviewed this before so I am not going to go into details. Please check my page if you’re looking for more info on it. I really do love the serum but I find I like the results I get from using a vitamin c and exfoliating. I need more than just a brightening solution as I have some scaring. The serum in this set is so very good for its brightening abilities. I went through three sets before giving it up. I do notice my face is not as glowy but I’m not sure if that’s from me being a bit more lazy with my skincare routine or from missing this. We’ll see. ⭐️Possible- repurchase YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi Not my favorite but is a good moisturizer. I’ve also reviewed this before. I prefer their Superfood Whip Moisturizer over this as I just like the texture and it’s a great daytime moisturizer for me. More in-depth review on my page ⭐️No-repurchase YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial I’ve reviewed this twice now so please see my page. Thais will be a forever purchase as of now! Definitely a fave of mine. I use once a week. ⭐️ repurchase YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask same as the last. I’ve purchased three so far. My favorite night time moisturizer. More in-depth reviews on my page ⭐️repurchase Murad - Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum this formula has changed as it had an ingredient that was bad. I have went through 3 original minis and loved the results but won’t repurchase due to the formula change. I saw almost instant results in spots being lifted. I have now switched to their Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment and it works just as good. I’m continuing to work on stubborn acne spots and when I am consistent with this and exfoliating, my scars and spots are almost invisible! ⭐️repurchase Invisiscar ❤️🍒

Murad love or hate?
So I have a love hate relationship with Murad, here is why Love: you know I love their stress cream, I love their vitamin C cleanser it smells like oranges and it’s more of a creamy cleanser and doesn’t dry out my skin. I also love the spf moisturizer they have too. I feel like it double protects my skin, I always put on more sunscreen after it Hate: their glycolic vitamin C serum? Yeah it has around 10% glycolic acid, which is not safe to use everyday AM and PM like it says in the directions, otherwise just using it as a exfoliator is nice. Another thing I hate? The price!! Holy crap this brand is expensive, speaking as a college student with a part time retail job. Yeah no way Jose. I would recommend these products that I loved like the stress cream and spf cream and the cleansers, their salicylic one clears up my mask acne! As I was saying I’d recommend this stuff but only if you can find it on sale.

Perfect Moisturizer & SPF in one!
I was very pleased with this sample from Murad. I don’t usually have high hopes when it comes to an SPF and moisturizer in one. But this left my face perfectly moisturized and left no tacky, thick residue that an SPF can sometimes do. Although it is safe to use on all skin types I would say it’s probably more geared for normal to dry skin. It’s very thin and absorbs easily. A nice creamy formula. I only took one ⭐️ away for its small amount of added fragrance, not detectable by the nose. Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++ also worked great under my makeup. I almost felt like I was applying a primer as it absorbed so well. My makeup did not pill or run. I would definitely pick this one up for me as an indoor SPF. I choose to wear SPF indoors as well and this would be a great option to cover both my moisturizer and SPF needs. There are sometimes I feel I need a bit heavier of a moisturizer when working with my makeup, so it wouldn’t work for those times. Have you tried this one out. It is a little more expensive at $65 for 1.7 oz but it’s still going on my wishlist! 🍊 Much ❤️ skinnies 🍒

Summer 🏝 to Fall Skin Care Switch Up! 🍁
Hey Babes! As we transition from summer to fall, make sure your skin care routine changes too. ⠀ In the fall, as the weather changes, so will your skin care routine. Fall months are colder and less humid, so you need to adjust your skin care regimen accordingly. By switching your routine according to the season, you’re allowing your skin to function better by keeping your barrier healthy and protected. ⠀ Change your cleanser to more of a creamy or hydrating base. The air is already going to dry your skin out, so avoid using foam cleaners that strip your skin or even gel cleaners that are water based. The green tea cleanser helps keep my oily skin at bay and is never aggressive! ⠀ Opt in for using a rich moisturizer so your skin can lock in oils to keep your barrier protected. Ingredients like glycerin and ceramides are always winners. If you need barrier protection, turn to Vaseline or Aquaphor. I like using the Sunday Riley one because the vitamin c in it brightens my skin and protects from environmental damage. ⠀ Do not exfoliate as often. You’re still going to exfoliate weekly, but the dryer climate can strip your skin making it sensitized and exfoliating too often will make it worse. ⠀ Add an extra serum into your routine. Hyaluronic acid, retinol and vitamin c are always winners! It might sound crazy, but I feel a difference in my skins texture when I accidentally skip a serum and I instantly regret it. ⠀ As always, don’t skip the SPF! UV stays are still present and you do not want to age faster. Skin care is all about preventative maintenance. :) Some of these products are on the pricier side, but it’s worth the money to have a good, solid, regimen. They key is to use the right ingredients and product texture to gain the proper results. #cheriepartner #summertofall

Murad Skincare The stand out product is definitely the Multi vitamin oil! One of the BEST oils I’ve used since the Drunk Elephant Marula Oil. It has vitamins A through F in it & it soaks up extremely FAST! It does leave behind a velvety softness that feels like hydration & bounce which I love but it also gives my skin this sun kissed glow the next morning! Radiance it is!! ☀️ ⁣

Smoothing Mask Off: Murad vs. Glow Recipe
Acne prone skin and uneven tone and texture go hand-in-hand and I’ve found that using exfoliating masks have been the most successful for my skin. Two of my favorite masks that help slough away dead skin cells while also brightening and evening the complexion are Glow Recipe’s Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask and Murad’s Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel. Since they have strong AHAs and other acids, I like to use them at least twice a week and at nighttime. **Always follow up with sunscreen the next day since they make your skin more sensitive to the sun. More details about the masks: Glow Recipe’s Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask: This is a skin-smoothing radiance-boosting nightly sleeping mask that enhances the complexion with a blend of antioxidant-rich watermelon, moisturizing hyaluronic acid, and exfoliating AHAs lactic and glycolic acids. I love this mask because of how gentle and hydrating it is. I go through phases of using it every night and once weekly and will use it after I apply all of my serums in place of a moisturizer. I can confidently say that this makes my skin super smooth and super hydrated! Murad’s Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel: This bi-phase peel rejuvenates the look of skin for a vibrant glow and is fortified with an AHA blend of glycolic, lactic, and malic acids, as well as salicylic acid and tranexamic acid. Together, these powerful-yet-gentle acids exfoliate and brighten skin in two phases to reveal a smoother and brighter complexion. This can be applied like a toner with a cotton pad before applying serums and moisturizers and doesn’t need to be rinsed off. It can be used twice daily in the morning and the night, but my skin can be sensitive and dry so I don’t like to overwhelm it. I bought this mask in hopes of it clearing my acne (which is super hard to do since it’s hormonal) and while it’s not necessarily halting my breakouts, it is helping to reduce scarring and the size of the breakouts.

multiacid peel
the product: Murad - Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel the rating: 5/5 for effectiveness, 2/5 price the ingredients: alpha hydroxy acids AHAs that exfoliate the surface of dead skin the review: I got this from the company when it first came out as a free trial. it has two liquids in it that separate when the container is at rest. shaking it up mixes the two. i use it for night for surface exfoliation. my skin cells turn over quicker when using this and help reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring on my face: the price: $65 for 100 mL, or $0.65 per mL, when youre using 2-4 drops a night, that goes quickly. there are cheaper acids that are as effective!

My Vitamin C Holy Grail
I’ve been obsessed with my Murad - Vitamin C Glycolic Brightening Serum I’ve received this in my Trendmood Box months ago and I’m still using it! I already posted a review before. I’m here to share my final thoughts. ☀️This serum is made with Vita-C Complex, which enhances L-ascorbic acid stability and potency. It also includes glycolic acid to remove dulling surface cells and help vitamin C support skin more effectively. The dual chamber package gives you a concentrated, fresh dose of vitamin C and glycolic acid with every use. ☀️My experiences with this product has been good thus far. It helps fade my acne scars and lighten my freckles. My goal is to get rid of them. I know freckles is a trend but I HATE them! I don’t like the price ($104 CAD) but I understand the price and I will repurchase this thanks to @paybright at @sephoracanada . With PayBright it’s $26 bi weekly! Now that isn’t bad at all! ☀️If you want a good Vitamin C serum this one will sparkle and please you. This will be a repurchase for me once I finish mine. Question of the day- what is your favourite serum? Keep Smiling and Stay Positive 🍁

I have very oily skin in summer, especially on my back and can suffer from a great deal of acne on my shoulders as well. I use this product with a back scrubbing brush and have noticed a huge improvement in the acne there. I was very pleased with the effectiveness. I am a repeat user of this product and I would totally recommend this for anyone that has any small issues that your trying to take care of. Pleasant smell and very satisfying results!

Hi there! First of all, this is my first post 🥴 so I apologize if I’m doing it wrong. I absolutely love murad products, though I’m running low and considering switching to PTR - does anyone have any recommendations and/or opinions? What I’m interested in knowing is if you prefer Murad or PTR? Also open to products that are not as expensive! Murad - Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel Vs PETER THOMAS ROTH - Pro Strength Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment Thoughts please 🥺 Thank you 😊
