the ONE thing that my dermatologist says...
... it to go to a dermatologist if you have skin problems! and BE PATIENT. ✨ A licensed professional like a dermatologist, esthetician, or aesthetician is the best person to go to if you’re stuggling with acne or skin problems. Don’t trust every brand that touts clear skin products, particularly Clean and Clear and St. Ives. boo them. ✨ Me? I am oily and acne prone, and used to have a ton of nodules and deep set blemishes. It has taken years to get to the skin i have now. i learned the hard way not to scrub and dry out my skin. ✨ the product in my picture is Adapalene 0.3% which is prescription only. You can buy a weaker version called DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel that does the same thing. Adapalene is a type of retinoid that encourages skin cell turnover, helping both scars and active scne. ✨ I also currently use SEPHORA COLLECTION - Clear Skin Days by Clarifying Serum Murad - Clarifying Cleanser

Please critique my skincare routine!
Disclaimer: very new to this app, not exactly sure if i’m doing this right 😂 I was hoping that a kind soul could give me some feedback on my skincare routine! I’m not sure whether or not to add or remove any of these, so any help is much appreciated! Step 1: To cleanse, I use the Murad - Clarifying Cleanser ! On days I wear makeup, I do a double cleanse adding sulfur soap since it’s much gentler on the skin. I do one cleanse in the morning, and two at night. This process sometimes does leave my skin feeling a bit dry, especially after a double cleanse, but on their own, have worked wonders for treating my pesky mask acne :) Step 2: I use the SK-II - Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner I dab it on a soft face towel and use it on my T zone, as well as any acne spots I have. I absolutely looove this product and have definitely seen results as described, other than my minor breakouts here and there Step 3: I use the SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) For this, I do a couple shakes and pat all over my face. I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews about this product, and whether or not it’s just a gimmick, but since using this product, I have rarely had excessively dry or oily skin, and it has definitely evened out my skin tone, and (before covid/mask wearing) minimized pores! Step 3: (Alternate) I couldn’t find product information on here, but now and then I will use the Ambre Blends Skin Tonic. This is a local Midwest company that started as a fragrance line that I have been wearing for years! I tried the skin tonic when they first released during a time when my skin was extremely dry and flaky. It gave me soooo much hydration and the smell is absolutely amazing! However, it wasn’t so great at keeping my breakouts to a minimum, and I haven’t been able to tell which ingredients caused that. They pride themselves on natural ingredients and I included a slide of the contents of the bottle! Step 4: For under eye serum, I use L'OCCITANE - Immortelle Divine Eye Cream I have extremely dark circles, and I decided to give this a try and it definitely has reduced them a bit! It’s a very soothing and light cream, but I do wish it showed better results! I do this entire routine twice a day, and so far it has seemed to work out for me! I still go through periods of oily skin, and lately with having to wear a mask all the time, my pores have appeared a lot larger :( I also have a constant battle with maskne, but I do occasionally use acne patches ( Rael - Miracle Ratch ) The last slide also shows the product I use when I do an occasional face mask. I try to keep this to a minimum, at least 2-3 times a month. I’ve never had better results than the ELEMIS - Papaya Enzyme Peel !

Fall Essential: Murad Cleanser ✨
Happy Water Shot Wednesday If you know me, then you know I love a great exfoliating product! With fall weather finally here, I’ve been looking for a product that doesn’t dry my skin out. Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser I got this beauty from Boxycharm, but it retails at $40 (yes steep I know) but I promise it’s worth it ! Key ingredients: This product is a physical and chemical cleanser all in one. Salicylic, Glycolic, and Lactic Acid: is this not the ultimate triple threat? This blend of acids sounded so irritating at first when I read it but it wasn’t harsh at all! Jojoba Beads: love to feel physical exfoliation. I wasn’t expecting the feel of beads. I was shocked, mostly because the packaging didn’t say anything. This was the most smooth feeling that left my skin feeling amazing. Sodium PCA: this is another humectant and the most important part of the hydration. This is found in human skin. It absorb water and moisture to your skin (kinda like hyaluronic acid). I used this every two days (morning time). I paired it with alpha arbutin+HA azelaic acid sunscreen. After I washed my face with this, my skin felt amazing! I also had a few breakouts on my forehead and cheek and this help clear it up. It didn’t have a smell and the consistency was great! I will definitely be purchasing once I run out of this.

My Favourite Exfoliation and Moisturiser Routine
The days when you exfoliate and moisturise really do “be like that”, don’t they! I absolutely live for the days when I get to do a more in-depth skincare routine and get a fresh glow going. My favourite products at the moment include a subtle physical exfoliant, an acid exfoliant, and two moisturising products. Generally, I use Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser once a week, because physical exfoliants are just so satisfying. The granular texture of this cleanser is super fine, and so is much more gentle as far as physical exfoliants go. You always want to avoid big “chunks” in an exfoliant as they easily create micro-tears on the skin. On days when I use the Murad cleanser, I follow up with The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane which has a pleasant “dry oil” texture. I massage it into my skin gently but with firm fingers, massaging in circular motions for about a minute. For a day or two after, I’ll stick to my Simple - Hydrating Cleansing Oil and CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin to keep my skin fresh. A day or two later, I’ll use The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA on clean, dry skin. I then wait at least 15 minutes before applying a generous amount of my Cerave moisturiser to rehydrate my freshly exfoliated skin. It’s important to be aware of how often your exfoliate. It’s super easy to over-exfoliate your skin and cause MORE redness, inflammation and breakouts than what you may be trying to remedy. Acids and serums are very irritating to inflamed pimples, especially hormonal breakouts, so be weary of your skin condition and the best advice for dealing with your concerns. As a rule, I don’t exfoliate more than twice per week, usually sticking to one. And always, always moisturise your skin after a few minutes. The wait allows your skin’s PH balance to settle, and the moisturiser stops your exfoliant from drying you out.

Sephora Picks! Include SPF & an a ACNE fighter
Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 $34 This is by far the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. It’s invisible, weightless, DOES NOT PILL, scentless and leaves my skin feeling absolutely ready for makeup or looking fresh for the day if I go without. It blends out those small imperfections for a flawless look. I just love how velvety (silicone) it feels. Murad - Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment $23 I first got this with a subscription box and I am glad I did. I don’t get a lot of breakouts but when I do, they sure are pesky. Usually around the time of the month or if I binged on sugar. And so every once and awhile I get this nasty rager that pops up and says, I”m here for the party and I ain’t going anywhere, biotches!!” 🍾 🎉 Seriously it’s takes them weeks to go away! Cause I have broke my habit of picking! 🥇 sure they “may possibly” go away quicker but then I’ll have months of servitude spent trying to get rid of the scar! 👩‍⚕️ Murad - Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment has helped tremendously with those small whiteheads even some of the bigger breakouts. It seriously cuts the time in half. My daughter who gets more day to day breakouts won’t live without it. And she’s been on prescription topical to keep her skin clear. I also like to add Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment $35 I’ve only just started using it but I plan to use it over any acne scar I have and will report back. AND.... I also have enjoyed using Murad - Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum which can only now be purchased online on their site and various others— it’s no longer available at Sephora or Ulta. $25/$76 Hope you all were able to enjoy the sale. I got some great gifts this season? Would you like to see? Let me know and I’ll share them with you through the week. Much love @cheriefamily 🍒😘

Follow this 3-step morning skincare to give your skin extra sleep😴
A good morning makes a good day. But…I just hope to have a few extra minutes in bed before going to work! As a girl, we have to accept the fact that we spend much time on our morning skincare and makeup. After being late for work several times, I decided to simplify my skincare steps to save the sleeping time in the morning. This is absolutely not a rash decision, because if you know your skin type and understand what it needs, moist? whitening? antioxidant? or anti-aging? You just use the targeted products then. Let me tell you my 3-step skincare in the morning. 1. Facial cleaning Some may directly omit facial cleanser in the morning to simplify the skincare process. But there are bacteria, mite, and dust on the pillow and quilt, so a facial cleanser is needed. It's just that you don't need an overly strong cleanser, choose a relatively mild amino acid cleanser to avoid skin irritation, especially for sensitive skin. #EltaMD - Foaming Facial Cleanser[products]#[FiveStars] I use a star product--EltaMD Foaming Facial Cleanser. I will put one pump of this foaming facial cleanser in my hands and apply it to my face. After about 10 seconds of scrubbing gently on my face, it creates a dense foam. Gentle enough, I like that it’s fragrance-free and fresh feeling. One more advantage is that it doesn’t cause any discomfort to my sensitive skin. 2. Moisturizing The skin and body both in the morning are in a state of water shortage, so hydrating appears important. So after cleansing your face, be sure to use skincare products with moisturizing effects. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Toner Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 30 I usually apply Kiehl’s facial toner and moisturizer. They absorb quickly and do enough job of moisturizing. Great for dry skin! 3. UV protection Generally, 9-11 o 'clock is the time with the strongest ultraviolet ray in the morning, so sunblock should be an everyday necessary project. Wearing sunscreen can effectively resist the harm of ultraviolet rays to the skin, prevent aging skin. Murad - City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 / PA++++ Murad Mineral Sunscreen is my choice. This is a physical sunblock, which I feel is safer and healthier than a chemical one. It blends in easily and doesn’t feel heavy, leaving any extra layer on the face. It protects my skin well as I’m always exposed to the sun.

💖My secret UV protection weapon💖
I've purchased all four of the following sunscreens at least twice. I highly recommend them! Kiehl's Ultra-Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA++++ Anti-Pollution (I personally think that it's suitable for dry skin, so if you have oily skin, test it out before buying it) Feeling: I've read online that it provides great UV protection. I never stay in the sun for too long and I only used it during daily work, but my skin did not darken. It has a runny consistency with a lotion texture which spreads easily on the skin but settles on the skin slowly. I think it's more suitable for fall and winter use. For spring and summer, I'll also replace the moisturizer or facial cleanser with this sunscreen after using a toner and a serum for an even greater moisturizing effect. It brightens skin complexion and gives it a natural radiance. It also blends well with follow-up foundation when it's used as a primer. Murad - City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 / PA++++ (Suitable for all skin types) Feeling: It has a correction liquid texture which is very lightweight and spreads easily. It evens out skin tone and brightens skin complexion, making it suitable for those who have places to go to but don't want to wear makeup. CLARINS - UV PLUS Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Multi-Protection Tint SPF 50(Suitable for all skin types) Feeling: It has the same correction liquid texture as the Murad sunscreen, is very lightweight, and spreads easily as well, making it suitable to be used all year round. It has three shades including transparent, pink, and blue. After using and comparing the transparent and pink ones, I strongly recommend the pink one which helps even out and lighten skin tone. AMPLEUR - Luxury White W Protect UV Plus SPF 50+ PA++++ (Suitable for all skin types) Feeling: It has more of a lotion texture when compared with Kiehl's sunscreen, but it really spreads very easily. It's refreshing and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy, settling on the skin fast. It's very moisturizing, so it's suitable for use all year round.

My Vitamin C Holy Grail
I’ve been obsessed with my Murad - Vitamin C Glycolic Brightening Serum I’ve received this in my Trendmood Box months ago and I’m still using it! I already posted a review before. I’m here to share my final thoughts. ☀️This serum is made with Vita-C Complex, which enhances L-ascorbic acid stability and potency. It also includes glycolic acid to remove dulling surface cells and help vitamin C support skin more effectively. The dual chamber package gives you a concentrated, fresh dose of vitamin C and glycolic acid with every use. ☀️My experiences with this product has been good thus far. It helps fade my acne scars and lighten my freckles. My goal is to get rid of them. I know freckles is a trend but I HATE them! I don’t like the price ($104 CAD) but I understand the price and I will repurchase this thanks to @paybright at @sephoracanada . With PayBright it’s $26 bi weekly! Now that isn’t bad at all! ☀️If you want a good Vitamin C serum this one will sparkle and please you. This will be a repurchase for me once I finish mine. Question of the day- what is your favourite serum? Keep Smiling and Stay Positive 🍁

☀️brighten UP w/Vita-C 🌞 #cheriepartner
☀️ the product Murad - Vitamin C Glycolic Brightening Serum $80 for 1oz/30 mL a very easily absorbed and POTENT serum (a lil stingy) that brightens skin when used once daily. make sure to use this or any vitamin C or AHA serum with SPF. 🌞 rating 4/5: super effective with awesome ingredients but that hefty hefty price 😭 i wish i could afford the bigger version but i would use it up too fast ☀️ ingredients - Vita-C complex: vitamin C in a stable and effective form to reduce pigmentation, increase skin cell turnover and brighten up - Glycolic acid: a high penetration alpha hydroxy acid that allows vitamin c to enter the skin - phyto-luminescent extract: sounds very science, murad says its like putting light into your skin

LED LIGHT THERAPY MASK
Everyone who’s used this kind of mask has seemed to love it so far. Picked this one up from Amazon for $40! It’s crazy considering you have celebs ripping people off and charging an outrageous $200 for literally the same mask I got for a quarter of the price. So far I’ve used it for less than a week and I’m really loving how well my acne has been improving along with my new and simpler skincare! My AM and PM routine are: TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener slurp - Niacid slurp - Hyaluid Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel With this simple routine my skin has been making a huge turn around and my acne and some scars I have are really starting to heal up beautifully. For now I’ll continue to use this for the next month consistently to see how well my skin improves.

BUDGET AMAZON 4C HAIR/DRY SKIN ROUTINE✨
it took me years to find anything that's works for my dry sensitive skin let alone work to help me style and detangle my 4C hair. SKIN ROUTINE: I only trust Noxzema facial cleansers to not break me out and actually CLEAN my skin. I also recommend a soft bristle spin brush to help scrub. (I strongly recommend getting the NOXZEMA - Ultimate Clear Daily Deep Pore Cleanser The one in my photo has tiny beads that are hard to wash off without soaking your shirt) Be sure to pat dry your face. Next I use the ANDALOU NATURALS - CannaCell Hydrating Toner . This product contains "hemp stem cells", not too sure what that does but it sure does help keep moisture in. It has a citrus scent as well. You can spray about 2-3 times in a cotton pad but I usually just spray on the hands and rub it into my skin. The HONEST - Hydrogel Cream is the best thing I've ever used. I used to pay $50-$60 for the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel and never has it ever held in moisture all DAY. I never had to put lotion on my face again. My face never dried up again!!! 4C HAIR CARE: The TANGLE TEEZER - The Large Wet Detangler Hairbrush and Carol's Daughter - Hair Milk 4-in-1 ''Combing'' Crème I've only seen used on type 3 hair and was almost positive that it would not work for me. Was I extremely wrong. On wet hair the tangle teaser is the best detangler I've EVER USED. I was depressed and my hair was matted from neglect and it made the process of reviving my hair so much more tolerable. The 4 in 1 Hair milk, I used after detangling a section and applied from the ends to the roots, then brushed over them again. I wouldn't say to use this as a styling cream with type 4 hair because my hair instantly puffed back up but it did keep it soft and moisturized all day. For daily moisture I recommend using the AS I AM - DoublebButter Cream

👀 does this eye serum work? 👀
✨ well yes! but with a catch — you gotta have another hydrating eye creme on hand, because Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum dried my eyes out! 👀 so, what’s so good about it? I really think it helped with my little wrinkles and dark circles using the primary ingredient of RETINOL a derivative of Vitamin A that causes skin cells to die and regenerate faster, leading to increased new skin growth. it can tighten fine lines and wrinkles, get rid of scars, and help with acne 🌸 it can brighten your eyes, but use another moisturizing eye cream or moisturizer on top. and ALWAYS USE SPF WITH A RETINOL. have you ever gotten a sunburn on the tops of your eyes??? i have. ✨ the eye cream i use over this is boscia - Indigo Eye Cream a beautiful lavender eye cream that brightens with a touch of pigment too

GOOD serum with a good brand's philosophy👍👍
Dr Murad is a board-certified dermatologist, a trained pharmacist and an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. He is the founder of Murad Skincare and author of multiple books, including “The Water Secret,” the “Cellulite Solution,” and “Wrinkle Free Forever.” He’s also the president of the University for Inclusive Health, and continues to see patients at his practice in California. What is Dr Murad’s philosophy? Dr Murad championed the idea of “beauty from within” and takes a 360 degree approach to skincare and wellness. Put another way, he is also known as ‘The Father of Internal Skincare.” He is a big believer that good skincare starts with the right nutrition and has said in interviews that “80% of your skin’s health is from internal care – nutrition from a good diet and supplements. Only 20% is from topical products.” To achieve optimal health as well as beautiful, healthy looking skin, Dr Murad believes in a multi prong approach that includes: cellular hydration, nutrition, exercise that brings joy, creative expression, reconnecting with your “inner toddler,” reducing stress, as well as the right skin care. One of the cornerstones of his philosophy is to get enough water at the cellular level. He believes that cellular hydration is the common thread linking aging, disease, obesity, and wrinkles. This translates into drinking more than the recommended eight glasses of water a day. People should also aim to eat their water from consuming raw fruits and vegetables. Murad is also known for promoting the use of dietary supplements to improve the skin. He is a fan of pomegranates, which are antioxidants and packed with polyphenols, which may boost the effectiveness of sunscreen, as well as goji berries, which are high in amino acids and vitamin C. When it comes to his skincare line, the workhorses are the serums, which he views as the heavy lifters of a beauty routine, and “have the power to change your skin.” I bought this over a month ago and have been delighted with the results. I’ve used a few Murad products and love the range so had high expectations of this product and it didn’t disappoint.  I bought this over a month ago and have been delighted with the results. I’ve used a few Murad products and love the range so had high expectations of this product and it didn’t disappoint. According to the company, Murad products use clinical–strength ingredients and the formulas are a mix of naturally derived extracts and lab created ones. Murad products rely on the power of antioxidants, which includes green tea, pomegranates and vitamin C. These ingredients are thought to protect the skin against the environmental free radicals and they may have anti-inflammatory properties. Impressed with the overall performance of this serum, I observed how simple and easy it was to apply via the pump dispenser. it had a pleasant and smooth texture, which glided onto skin nicely and absorbed almost instantly, leaving no unpleasant residue. And i also felt the serum improved the look and feel of their skin over the testing period, observing a difference to texture along with a decrease in lines and wrinkles. This is a really good introduction to retinol products (I have always been wary). It is sensitive on the skin and helped with skin texture. The smell is nice and not too strong. I really like Murad packaging as well in general so I stayed impressed by this. I have sensitive skin and usually i'm really carefull with strong serums! But that one is great for sensitive skin! I don't have any irritation or redness on the skin after it! It works really good leaves my skin smooth and bright! I using this serum after one day and it's still works wonders for me! Ease of use: 5/5 Design: 5/5 Instructions: 4/5 Performance: 4/5 I LIKED Pleasant texture which absorbed quickly Some testers saw a difference to fine lines Skin felt smoother I DISLIKED A few testers experienced a tingling sensation initially One tester found that the serum hardened in the nozzle so would've liked an alternative dispenser One tester disliked the scent

How I Dealt with My Acne 🙌🏻
A different kind of post today. I want to talk about how I dealt with my acne and why I think I don’t get it very often anymore ⭐️ This photo is me, today, without any makeup on. My skin isn’t perfect: I still have little bumps and very noticeable pores and textures. But compared to before, it’s improved so much and I’m happy with it. So here’s my take on it: 1) I believe acne has something to do with genetics and age (hormone level changes). My parents both have oily skin and had acne when they were young. They still have occasional pimple even now. So I don’t expect I can be acne free. My acne was the worst when I was in middle and high school and started to get significantly better since I turned 20. So here’s that factor. Acne also has a lot to do with what we eat, our sleep, our environment, our stress, our menstruations, etc, especially cystic acne. So that’s also something we can look into. 2) Don’t pick your pimples if it’s not like dry and 80% healed. That was my lesson. I still have some scars on the side of my face. 3) Treatment: small pimples can be a skin or follicle inflammation. if you have more oily skin like me, you are unfortunately more prone to acne because sebum can cause that. for these kind of small bumps I use a salicylic acid spot treatment such as CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gelor Murad - Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment. I alternate between these two. large, painful acne, or cystic acne, has more to do with hormones. if it’s really bad you should definitely see a doctor. I fortunately never got too many of these. but when I do, I have a process: if I feel it coming out, I use a salicylic acid spot treatment mentioned above to see if I can get it down before it even pops out. if it’s out and red, I use a sulfur drying lotion such as Kate Somerville - EradiKate Acne Treatmentor MARIO BADESCU - Mario Badescu Drying Lotionuntil it has a whitehead and is dried out. once it’s dry, you can actually pick it out with clean hands. then I immediately put an acne sticker/patch on it. the sticker will suck it flat and from then I go back to salicylic acid until it is fully gone. using acid every night all over my face definitely helps me stabilize my skin. you can choose aha or bha or whatever acid mostly suited for your skin type and condition. I also use a more intense acid treatment mask every week. changes in locations, changes in weathers, changes in our moods, our bodies. a lot of things can trigger acne. sometimes our skin really just freaks out and if we give it a bit time and be patient, it can heal itself. 4) After all, skin is our first barrier and protection against the outside environment and it fights for us so hard. All skins are good skins. 😇 Hope this post can help!

Retinol Does Cure Your Skin! My FAVORITE Retinol Product!👍
After the age of 25, your skin starts to deteriorate, leaving you unprepared for the loss of collagen, facial, vaginal, and cervical lines. I've been using anti-aging products since I was 20 years old to make my skin look younger. But as soon as I developed my first dry lines beside my eye area, I started researching the various anti-aging ingredients on the market. There are many anti-aging ingredients, such as retinol, peptides, and the famous one, pro-xylene. Although wrinkles are an irreversible derivative, it is important to take timely precautions. Sometimes just come out dry line, also can desalinate through effective protect skin means to eliminate even. After reading about Retinol's ability to detect dry lines around the eye, I bought Murad's Retinol Youth Renewal Serum, Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Serumwhich is well known for its Retinol anti-aging ingredient. Retinol, also known as alcohol, can accelerate cell metabolism, let the aging cuticle off, to achieve the effect of smooth skin, no matter it is to fade fine lines or shrink pores, both having a certain effect. However, for dry and sensitive skin, retinol is not very friendly, retinol will be converted into vitamin A acid after the approval of the skin, it is more irritating to the skin, initially, there will be some tingling, intolerant skin will also appear peeling, red symptoms. The essence of this Murad has a core ingredient -- triple power retinol technology, which allows retinol to do its job while being gentler and minimizing irritation. Its texture has no fluidity and is very light and easy to absorb. It is the most comfortable to use in this season, without the greasy feeling. If it's a little colder, you can use it with a more moisturized cream. It is an anti-aging essence suitable for use all year round.

My PM Night Routine 👌
I do tend to switch up serums and moisturizers depending on if I exfoliated that day, or did a chemical peel, or if my skin is feeling dry. But this is the main routine I stick to. Murad is my fav brand. ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm - This is a great cleansing balm I received in my BeautyFix Box. It Deep cleans and dissolves makeup, including my waterproof mascara and has anti aging benefits. It contains Chamomile, Rosehip oil, Lactic acid and other Essential oils. EMMA HARDIE - Moringa Light Cleansing Gel - Another product I got from a BeautyFix box, this is more of a gel like oil cleanser instead of a balm which I like. It also removes my mascara and is packed with skin loving essential oils dr. brandt - Clean Biotic - This is a PH balanced yogurt cleanser with chlorophyll. Chlorophyll stimulates anti aging enzymes and encourages nourished youthful skin, it also repairs sun damage and fights free radicals. It’s a creamy texture that doesn’t foam up which I love. Has antioxidants like Green tea, white tea and Grapeseed extract. It’s very soothing. exuviance - Anti-Pollution Protection Essence - This Essence targets the skins microbiome to help re-balance and strengthen the skins moisture barrier. Also has ingredients and antioxidants to neutralize the visible aging effects due to stressors like pollution. It’s very light almost like water, I take about 5 drops and press it into my skin. Murad - Essential-C Toner - Refreshing mist with antioxidants that brightens the skin and replenishes moisture. I do use this before my Essence. Has a very citrusy smell and comes in a spray bottle which I like opposed to pouring out the toner. Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Serum - Fast acting retinol serum that minimizes fine lines, firms, evens skin tone, and boots radiance. It has a technology that releases a fast acting retinol, a time released retinol and a retinol booster. It also has hydrating ingredients like Hyaluronic acid to minimize dryness. Murad - Renewing Eye Cream - A nourishing eye cream that firms and brightens and targets signs of aging. It has Peptides and Retinol to increase elasticity and a brightening complex for dark circles. Love how thick this eye cream is, I’ve seen a difference in my dark circles, and fine lines. Murad - Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture - Cream with advanced hyaluronic acid technology provides 24 hour hydration, restores suppleness and reduces fine lines. Coconut extract helps provide enhanced moisture retention. I love thick extra hydrating night creams and nothing compares to this. Murad - Night Fix Enzyme Treatment - Accelerates nighttime skin repair, and visibly minimizes fine lines. Skin loses water 3x faster at night, works with the body’s circadian rhythm. Def a great extra step.

Vitamin C Skincare Routine for Acne Prone Skin!🍋
This is my current vitamin C morning skincare routine! Using Vitamin C is something I've recently started to participate in. For a while I was avoiding it, and constantly just layering on actives and exfoliators to help my oil production & acne. Turns out...that's what made it worse! Once I started consistently incorporating vitamin C, my skins texture and complexion improved tremendously! It also helped my skin to become LESS oily, because it rebalanced my skin. Resulting in my skin not having to overcompensate oil anymore. Murad - Essential-C Cleanser 🍋 It's a good gentle, morning cleanser, and makes my skin soft afterwards. It has Vitamins C, A, and E, which together help prevent skin damage, conditions, and nourishes skin. It's a gel cleanser but also foams up a bit, and has an amazing citrus scent!! I probably won't repurchase because I enjoy trying new cleansers once I run out. Plus, I wouldn't say the full size is worth $40, based on the ingredient list quality. Next, if I want to continue on the vitamin C cleanser train, I may try the DERMA•E - Even Tone Brightening Cleanseror the insta natural - Vitamin C Cleanser, Anti-Aging NATURIUM - Vitamin C Complex Serum 🍊 This is an amazing Vitamin C serum! It isn't oil based which I love, and it's made up of a complex of highly stabilized vitamin C. As well as vitamin E, and a bioactive fruit blend to brighten, and shield skin from environmental stressors. It absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky! It's for sure a catch for you dry skin people! I dont know if I would recommend if you're super oily, but some people say otherwise! But in just a few weeks, I noticed a more even and healthier looking complexion for sure. #HoneyLab - 5 in 1 Vitamin C and Manuka Honey Face Serum[products]#[FiveStars] 🍯 WOW. I'm OBSESSED. This was a product I had never heard of and picked up from TJ max for $4.99! It's amazing for Oily skin! it feels a bit sticky after application but when I apply a moistuizer afterwards its fine. This has 5 different bee produced ingredients, Manuka Honey, Propolis, Beeswax, Honey extract, and Royal Jelly. This also contains Kakadu Plum, which is an Australian fruit rich in vitamin C. This also has hyaluronic acid, Apple fruit extract, green tea, Aloe Leaf Juice and more! This helped balance my skins PH level, lighten dark spots and kill off acne causing bacteria! On HoneyLabs website it's $20 but on Amazon its only $10...just make sure if you purchase off Amazon its the legit product! Places like Tj Max, Marshall's and Ross also carry HoneyLab products. Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++ 🥭 I really like the smell and consistency of this Moisturizer. This is also a Mini I got in the same set as the cleanser. It's a great way to top off my vitamin C routine. But I wouldn't say there's anything TOO special about it, especially since the full size is $65 for 1.7 ounces! Plus I noticed a bit of pilling.

Summer 🏝 to Fall Skin Care Switch Up! 🍁
Hey Babes! As we transition from summer to fall, make sure your skin care routine changes too. ⠀ In the fall, as the weather changes, so will your skin care routine. Fall months are colder and less humid, so you need to adjust your skin care regimen accordingly. By switching your routine according to the season, you’re allowing your skin to function better by keeping your barrier healthy and protected. ⠀ Change your cleanser to more of a creamy or hydrating base. The air is already going to dry your skin out, so avoid using foam cleaners that strip your skin or even gel cleaners that are water based. The green tea cleanser helps keep my oily skin at bay and is never aggressive! ⠀ Opt in for using a rich moisturizer so your skin can lock in oils to keep your barrier protected. Ingredients like glycerin and ceramides are always winners. If you need barrier protection, turn to Vaseline or Aquaphor. I like using the Sunday Riley one because the vitamin c in it brightens my skin and protects from environmental damage. ⠀ Do not exfoliate as often. You’re still going to exfoliate weekly, but the dryer climate can strip your skin making it sensitized and exfoliating too often will make it worse. ⠀ Add an extra serum into your routine. Hyaluronic acid, retinol and vitamin c are always winners! It might sound crazy, but I feel a difference in my skins texture when I accidentally skip a serum and I instantly regret it. ⠀ As always, don’t skip the SPF! UV stays are still present and you do not want to age faster. Skin care is all about preventative maintenance. :) Some of these products are on the pricier side, but it’s worth the money to have a good, solid, regimen. They key is to use the right ingredients and product texture to gain the proper results. #cheriepartner #summertofall

Heavy hitters: Murad or Peter Thomas Roth?
Hi there! First of all, this is my first post 🥴 so I apologize if I’m doing it wrong. I absolutely love murad products, though I’m running low and considering switching to PTR - does anyone have any recommendations and/or opinions? What I’m interested in knowing is if you prefer Murad or PTR? Also open to products that are not as expensive! Murad - Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel Vs PETER THOMAS ROTH - Pro Strength Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment Thoughts please 🥺 Thank you 😊
