Surprised by this Greek yoghurt cleanser ✨
I saw these being on sale on boxy pop up and they looked intriguing to me. I’ve been using the same cleansers for a while and wanted a new change. My face gets fairly dry in the winter time and I wanted something soothing/moisturizing. I got these a few weeks ago and have been using it since. I’ve gotta say this cleanser definitely came through for me. This cleanser is super soft and moisturizing. It’s more of a jelly-like consistency. This kind of gave me a glossier milky jelly cleanser feeling. Similar in texture and I personally feel like the korres cleanser is a bit better. It doesn’t strip my skin and leaves it even more moisturized, it hasn’t clogged any of my pores and feels amazing. A little goes a long way so you don’t need too much of it. It impressed me especially since my forehead and nose are really oily. My cheeks and chin are super dry and sensitive, sometimes I have slight rosacea and this cleanser has helped me! On korres website this Greek yoghurt cleanser is $26 for 5.07 oz. 🧴🧼

Korres, winner or loser?
Here is my review on a few Korres products. First the obvious winner is the foaming cleanser ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ amazing amazing product, it’s so creamy and I feel like it still cleans my skin and moisturizes it somehow? Crazy right? Smell is like a beautiful flowery perfume but since it’s only a cleanser and I wash it off I don’t mind fragrance in it. Second best product- the probiotic gel cream, this is a very nice cooling cream it would be amazing in the summer time for me but winter, fall, spring? Nope not hydrating enough, and downside it does have a lot of fragrance in it but if you don’t mind it then this is a good product I liked it! Just not for my dry skin The vitamin c rose sleeping mask- I mean it smells like a rose dream, but downside of that is holy cheap there is a lot of fragrance in it, I mean I don’t mind it it smells really good but that would be the only reason I use it. It’s not hydrating enough to use alone at night for my skin type. And I didn’t notice any brightening effects. So this was a swing and a miss for me sadly sorry guys The pomegranate face mask? Okay I did like this one i feel like it did leave my skin a bit brighter and glowy but the downside is that it’s a mask, lately I don’t have time or I’m just too depressed and down to go through the effort of doing masks at night the effect is only temporary I feel like serums or a good moisturizer will work better then a mask you use twice a week To recap the winner is....... The Foaming cleanser and runner up is the probiotic gel cream. The only thing I would repurchase is the cleanser, gosh just thinking about it makes me happy I love it so much for my skin.

Food for your face + DIY yogurt mask recipe
I tried out this deluxe sized sample of KORRES - Hydra Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask With Real Greek Yoghurt from a recent GlossyBox. Yogurt is known for adding moisture, having anti-inflammatory properties, and cooling/soothing the skin. According to Korres this mask is: A probiotic face mask with real Greek yoghurt that rehydrates, soothes redness, and supports the rebalance of skin’s natural protective layer in just one use. This mask goes on like a thick cream and soaks into the skin, more like a dense moisturizer than your usual mask. It can also be used as a sleeping mask, but when I left it on for a bit it started to pill really bad so it might get all over your pillowcase. It feels very soothing on the skin and after washing off my face was super soft and super smooth! If you have inflamed or irritated skin and can afford it, this mask is totally worth the splurge. I knocked 1 star off due to price and the pilling situation. Or try one of these DIY Greek Yogurt + Probiotic face mask recipes: For inflamed or oily skin*: 1/2 cup plain full fat Greek yogurt + the contents of 1 probiotic capsule + 1 tsp. Honey + 1/2 tsp. of ground turmeric For irritated of dry skin*: 1/4 cup plain full fat Greek yogurt + the contents of 1 probiotic capsule + 1 tbsp. Honey + 1 tbsp. Aloe vera gel *obviously you should test to make sure you aren’t sensitive to these ingredients first, and don’t use on open skin.

PROBIOTIC HYDRATING MASK!
🍦PROBIOTIC GREEK 🇬🇷 Yogurt goodness!🍦You know what makes this probiotic even more bomb? Placing it in the fridge! Bye bye dry/dehydrated/stressed skin. I remember back in the day *being middle eastern and all* my mom would put yogurt on all our burns. So it only makes sense for it to be in skincare as well. Probiotics baby-helps mend skin. *pr*I use this 2-3 times a week. After I cleanse. Leave on for about 15 minutes then wash off. After, I only moisturize then oil up. Ahhh. Best feeling. Has aloe leaf juice and rice extract. It’s mega soothing and hydrating. Completes me honestly. #colorwatershot What’s that one tube mask that you always turn to when your skin needs some extra TLC? Let’s talk about it! KORRES - Hydra Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask With Real Greek Yoghurt

✨Guide to applying products to Dry or Damp Skin✨
My dermatologist recommended this to me. This is a great guide for applying products. I found myself not seeing results from certain serums and moisturizers. I did a post previously about why hyaluronic acid should be applied to damp skin, but this guide is 10xs better . Most moisturizers , serums, and even toners are best applied to damp skin. Why? Prepping your face with water helps prepare you skin to absorb products better. Wet skin is more permeable than dry skin. They help the skincare product to travel deeper, which is why things such as Retinoids and Acids should be used on dry skin (unless it’s formulated in a cleanser). I like to useKORRES - H2Rose Hydrating Face Mist as a prep for my serums during the day. It’s very light and has added benefit and vitamin C. At night I use a regular spray mist/bottles You can get these at your local beauty supply store or dollar store. The only serum I don’t apply to damp skin is vitamin C & niacinamide. A correctly formulated vitamin C will be made to be Ph balanced and having damp skin could dilute the effects of the product. Niacinamide (especially with zinc) is made to be an oil/sebum controller. The logic in my head says oil and water doesn’t mix and that’s what I have to go on (lol). If you ever feel your hydrating serum or moisturizer didn’t give you.. well.. hydration try this ! #dermatologisttips (Photo cred maximumskin on IG)

🧫 Probiotics/Microbiome Skincare 🧫
I have normal skin with skincare concerns being treating/preventing acne, fading acne scars and dehydration. In the past year or two, skincare products focusing on the microbiome of your skin has become a huge trend. These types of products include ones that contain pre- and probiotics. I got a couple of the KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Probiotic Gel-Cream mini/deluxe size moisturizers in Sephora Favorites sets and as gift with purchases from Sephora. What’s intrigued me about this trend is how these types of products is how they nourish and enrich the skin, which helps to solve various skincare concerns. I like how the ingredients aren’t harsh and are very soothing to the skin so it’s suited for various skin types and concerns. I am waiting for more research done on this topic to actually prove all the claimed benefits. After using up a few other minis of this product, it really has lived up to my expectations! It definitely makes me want to recommend this to others and will likely repurchase if I see it on sale. It is nourishing to my skin when it’s oily without making it look or feel oily and it has enough moisture to help me when my skin is dry and flaky. I’ve been using it AM and PM and have been loving the results, my skin looks and feels more hydrated, nourished, even and glowy. . #cheriepartner

Combination skin and jawline acne scars? Korres might be the brand just for you! These are my first and only products from Korres, but one in particular is a miracle discovery for my combination skin: The Pomegranate Pore-blurring Gel moisturizer. 5/5 for me sis. About KORRES - Pomegranate Moisturising Cream Gel for Oily to Combination Skin ✨Containing Pomegranate enzymes this moisturizer promotes cell regeneration ✨Contians salicylic acid, dissolving debris clogging pores and smoothing our imperfections ✨Willowherb extract reduces oiliness in skin balancing sebum production and reducing pore size. It is summertime, and as an combination skin-ner this is the time my skin leans more toward oily— like you can see your reflection in my forehead oily. What this gel moisturizer did was give me normal looking skin, my forehead sheen was nonexistent, pore size reduced and I had a healthy within glow, that didn’t turn into an oil slide halfway through the day. In addition this can be a great make-up primer! The only downside is that I ran out before I could buy more! Leaving me to buy a drugstore moisturizer (not that that’s bad) but it’s an unnecessary change my routine. *IMPORTANT: this is not a ultra-hydrating moisturizer, it is meant to balance sebum production so it might not be suited for my dry/ normal skin peoples! The second product while not a total miss was not the best. KORRES - Wild Rose Brightening Absolute-Oil This is my first time trying out a Vitamin C-oil. It did help reduce my jawline acne scars and reduce some lines I have in my face. (Although I am 18 I do have obvious laugh lines). My problem with this product is it claims to give you a glow, but it seems like a ‘fake glow’; it sits on my face, instead of sinking into my skin or providing any real moisture, eventually turning greasy under my sunscreen after being in the sun for 15 minutes. I primarily used this at night but it still had the same effect. At $58 I don’t think this product was worth it. Save those dollars.

Layer these ingredients together: probiotic and vitamin C
I use these two ingredients together to brighten my dull skin and the two products I’ve chosen are from Korres. This brand comes from Greece and it features natural botanical Greek ingredients, including Greek yogurt, wild rose, black pine, golden crocus, etc. After a friend recommended this brand to me, I became a huge fan of it and tried its multiple products. Product recommendations KORRES - Hydra Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask With Real Greek Yoghurt KORRES - Wild Rose Brightening Absolute-Oil Today I am talking about two products that saved my dull skin resulted from a long time in front of laptops and help restore the glow of my face. They are Hydra-biome probiotic super dose face mask with real Greek yogurt and Rose Sauvage, a vitamin C face oil.  This combo is what I found after trial and I’ve also researched to make sure they are safe and effective to use together.   I would first use several drops of the vItamin C face oil and gently massage it into my face. This vitamin C comes from natural extracts from wild roses and you can see there are real rose petals inside the bottle. It is not so oily that it will make you feel they are difficult to absorb or just leave on the surface of your skin.  After the oil is fully absorbed, I would then apply a thick layer of the probiotic face mask and leave it there for about 30 minutes before washing it off.  I usually give myself such a treat in my PM skincare routine and after a nice sound sleep, the next morning I would find my face brightening with a luminous glow and a more even skin tone. How it works: As we all know, vitamin c is a powerful antioxidant. When contained in the form of face oil, it becomes gentle and helps to fend off environmental stressors like pollution and the damaging effects of free radicals on our skin.  Probiotics are good to live bacteria and they have biome-balancing properties that can help improve skin barriers and rebalance the skin’s natural protective layer. When these two ingredients are combined, it helps to strengthen the skin’s barrier to prevent pollutions our skin is exposed to on a daily basis and save the skin from dullness. I recommend this combo to you and suggest that you should try the brand Korres out next time you are looking for some new skincare products.

🤔Does this cute mask actually work? My answer is...
KORRES - Pomegranate AHAs & Enzymes Resurfacing MaskThis mask focuses on unclogging pores, minimizing enlarged pores, and improving rough skin. It has a dust-gray paste with exfoliating particles, and although it's not strongly scented, I really dislike how it smells. It feels cool on the skin but also burns a little, and it can be washed off after 5 to 15 minutes. I personally think it irritates a little when it's washed off. Although it has fine particles, it still feels like rubbing sand when it's massaged onto the skin, making it really uncomfortable. It does help improve uneven skin, resurface the skin, and restore its smoothness and tenderness. It also doesn't make my skin too dry (I have dry skin). However, it doesn't really unclog pores, nor minimize enlarged pores, and I don't really understand the point of using it as a mask as it feels more like an exfoliator. I use it twice a week, but I don't really like it. Plus, it has a weird smell. It's not a bad product but it just does nothing much for me, so I won't repurchase it. Do you have the same feeling as me? Tell me below!

Exfoliation Series Part 2
Physical exfoliation in masks! An exfoliation cleanser isn’t the only way to physically exfoliate! Masks can be a great way as well. SJÖ SKIN - Happy Honey Mask This mask is gentle, it has small exfoliation particles that when you rinse it off it softly and easily buffs away dead skin cells KORRES - Pomegranate AHAs & Enzymes Resurfacing Mask this mask is interesting because it combines physical and chemical exfoliation for a double punch of exfoliation. its a mask you leave on for 10-15 minutes to let the AHAs to work their magic and dissolve dead skin and then when you rinse the mask off the physical exfoliator buffs away the hard work the ahas did while you left it on. This one can be a little bit harsh for me, I feel like the particles are a tad rough so I don’t reach for this one all that often bliss - Pumpkin Powerhouse Resurfacing & Exfoliating Enzyme Mask This mask is also a bit of a combination mask for physical and chemical exfoliation. Pumpkin enzymes are known for being a gentle chemical exfoliation. So while you leave the mask on the enzymes get to work on your soon and the very mild texture of this mask then buffs away the dull dead skin when you rinse off. This mask is very gentle!

5 Exfoliating masks to choose from!
I have alot of masks. My favourite type of mask is an exfoliating mask. I have blackheads, clogged pores and texture issues and I find gentle exfoliation (no more than 2 times a week) is really helpful. These are my top 5 masks. You do not need all of these- you can decide which one or two would be good for you! Also you can check out my reel for this on Instagram @leena.tabaja for the textures! Youth to the People- Yerbe Mate mask. This is a very good enzymatic exfoliating mask, and also has some small gentle physical exfoliating particles in the product. YTTP is famously vegan and sustainable and everything active has a natural product inspiration which I love, and I have not been disappointed by one product from them. I love their mission and their vision and will continue supporting them forever- they're amazing. This mask is no exception, I found it so helpful and perfectly textured for a gentle, effective exfoliation and it smells like ginger- so invigorating. This product is best used on damp skin and only needs 3 minutes- so I actually get in the shower, grab the jar, wet my face without getting my hands wet, and I apply the mask for 3 minutes before continuing my shower. That simple. Korres Resurfacing mask- is a triple killer: chemical exfoliation, enzymatic exfoliation and physical as well. I use this when my pores and blackheads are at their worst, or if I skipped my skincare routine for a day or two and need a good detoxing mask- this is the one. Cleans everything up in 10 minutes and doesnt irritate my skin. I find the physical exfoliation in here also very gentle. Vichy Double Peel- one of the first exfoliating masks I've ever tried and probably the one to get me so into mask exfoliation. Verrrrrry gentle physical exfoliation and chemical as well- made from natural sources of AHAs. I use this for 15 minutes- by this time, the mask would have dried but doesnt feel tigt, as its a gel texture, I let the chemical exfoliation do it work and then scrub the mask off with my fingertips. You can feel the physical particles exfoliating and removing all the dead skin the chemicals were turnover- and if you see the product browning or greying in your hands- that means its working! Summer Fridays Overtime Mask- love this as a treat for my skin- love the pumpkin, gingerbread smell, it really feels like a pamper-loving mask. Creamy texture is nice and nourishing, and contains enzymes and more physical exfoliating particles. The pumpkin enzyme will gentle exfoliate, and the physical particles will get everything off, but they are a but bigger than the ones listed in the masks above- so scrub very gently. Its still nice and gentle as long as you dont scrub too hard- never scrub too hard anyway though, right? High Maintenance Peeling mask- this ones a little bit different. This has enzymtic activity for the exfolaiton, but also uses hemp seed oil to resurface, which is also quite nourishing. Its quite unique, and thats why I like it.

I tried these serums so you don't have to! My fav and meh are...🤔
I've tried several different serums and wanted to find the most suitable one. Hope that my review can help you guys! KORRES - Wild Rose Spotless Serum with 15% Vitamin Super C It's a biphasic serum so you need to shake it well before applying. It feels a little greasy when it first touches the skin, but it's very soon absorbed. It contains 10% wild rose facial oil, 15% high concentration stable vitamin C and other safe ingredients, so it's suitable for even sensitive skin. DARPHIN - Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum It has a stunning pink and watery texture which feels comfortable on the skin and has a light, pleasant scent. This serum contains chamomile extract which is anti-inflammatory and calming, making it suitable for sensitive skin, redness-prone skin, and for those with ongoing skin allergies, but I think that it's not very durable. HERBIVORE - Phoenix Rosehip Anti-Aging Face Oil for Dry Skin I just bought it today after a beauty blogger recommended it for reducing acne and acne marks, so I'll update again after I start using it. SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Sleeping Night Oil SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment I bought this combo when it was the talk of the town for a while. 2 to 3 drops of the night oil is enough every time. Figure 2: It has a runny consistency and an oily texture, but it's easily absorbed on the skin. I only use the lactic acid treatment on my T-zone. Figure 3: It has a lotion texture with fabulous ingredients. However, it irritates a little when applied without the sleeping night oil, so people with sensitive skin should test it out before deciding to use it. I basically use both products together and they work well as an SOS combo for skin in need of treatment from staying up late a lot, but it does nothing much when it's used on normal skin. In particular, the Luna sleeping night oil contains retinols which makes the skin sensitive to UV, so it's not suitable for those like me who always use their phone after their skincare routine. I won't repurchase this product. TOPIX - Replenix Pure Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Serum I always use this serum in the morning. However, the blue gel texture is difficult to suck up using the dropper. Single-effect serums are quite unnecessary for me and I might repurchase it only when I'm in a dry environment. What's your fav face serum? Could you recommend it to me? TIA😜

Too glittery, Too smelly, not worth it!!
So during the Korres Black Friday sale they had this set on sale for $74 which I thought was a steal because this set is normal $148?! Like wow, anyways guys this isn’t a good product. If you look up how expensive these products are alone they should make your face look amazing but honestly the smell is so overwhelming. And I am not one to get sensitive over smell but holy crap I started sneezing so bad it was like I was having an allergic reaction to the smell. My skin also got itchy in certain parts. I gave this to my mom so maybe she will like it? But terrible terrible terrible products. Don’t get me wrong the smell is a beautiful woodsy scent but it’s too much, the cream isn’t very moisturizing either same with the elixir. And there are glitter particles in both of these, it legit looks like you just put highlighter all over your face. The glitter rubs off on everything just not a good experience. And Korres doesn’t let you return products after you’ve tried them unlike Sephora which sucks but hey early Christmas present for my mom I guess. Anyways save your money on this it is a terrible product.

Korres Ageless Saffron Elixir Serum
I’d rather get coal than KORRES - Golden Krocus Ageless Saffron Elixir Serum for Christmas. I had such high hopes for this serum when I ordered it, especially because it’s quite pricey! This retails for $98 and is marketed as a precious golden elixir infused with the immense antioxidant power of one-day fresh Greek saffron to universally correct all visible signs of aging. My experience with this was not great, AT ALL. First off, I can’t get over the scent with this one because it is so strong and it totally lasts too! It almost feels like I’m applying a strong granny perfume to my skin. The texture is pretty watery and comes with gold glitter that just somehow stays on the skin in a bad way. This product also contains a significant amount of alcohol and my sensitive skin DOES NOT like it at all because I broke out like crazy after trying it out for a few days. I saw no effects at all and my skin felt drier too. It’s pretty clear how I feel about this product and I would not recommend this to anyone especially for the hefty price tag.

Greek Yogurt, the Perfect Second Cleanse! 🍦
Greek Yogurt, the Perfect Second Cleanse! 🍦
I am super picky when it comes to my second cleansing step simply because any foaming detergent-like cleanser tends to leave my skin parched. Instead of feeling clean, I usually just feel like weeks worth of nourishment just got sucked out of my face. Goodbye to the hard work of my pricey serums! For awhile, I would only use an oil cleanser and it cleaned my makeup off for the most part. That is, until I came across Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser. It’s exactly as the title says it is: it dispenses as a condensed milk consistency but quickly foams on the face with water. A little goes a LONGGG way so I only use a pinky amount each time- even though I paid $16 for the half size, I know it will last me a very long time. If you’ve been struggling to find a good 2nd cleanse (after oil cleanse), especially for those with dry/dehydrated skin, I would give this a try! I use it once a day in the shower and it leaves my face extra clean but still hydrated. KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser Cheers 🍦

KORRES// ▫️Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel ▫️Mulberry Vanilla Body Butter ▫️Greek Yogurt Foaming Cleanser ... The Greek Yogurt Foaming Cleanser is a tried and true favorite. It is made with real Greek Yogurt which is hydrating and soothing. It has amaranth seed extract to soothe skin and help reduce redness. It also has honeysuckle which has antibacterial properties. This cleanser is soap-free and very gentle! For me, it’s a forever fave!

Empty body butter: Korres Guava
Empty body butter: Korres Guava
KORRES - Guava Body Butter This body butter is formulated to prevent skin aging, moisturize, and smooth the skin by promoting elasticity. It is a thick but emollient cream that can take about 30 minutes to fully sink in. When it did sink in, it made my skin feel really moisturized and soft. It also smells nice, so the experience was very pleasant. However, these body butters are $32 and I emptied it in about 2 weeks. It’s way too expensive for the little amount of product you get. I really enjoyed using it up, but I wouldn’t repurchase. There are drugstore/cheaper options that are more cost efficient.

my new secret to dewy skin... Greek Yoghurt!🙌
My new fav day time moisturizer! ♥︎ KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Probiotic Gel-Cream The texture of this moisturizer is unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. It’s beautifully whipped and melts into the skin like a dream. Upon application and throughout the entire day, my skin is plump, hydrated, radiant, and soo dewy. It’s incredibly light weight and is perfect to wear under makeup. This is great for a warmer/humid climate and summer. I will definitely be repurchasing.
