Makeup of the Day 💕
Hey, just because I’m still under quarantine doesn’t mean I can’t play around with some of my favorite products. Let’s talk about what I have on: For my base, I used the usual bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 which is tried and true. I luckily don’t need much coverage, and this gives me the perfect dewy look without looking caked on. bareMinerals - BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer is still my favorite concealer right now. It provides great coverage without drying me out or settling into my fine lines. I skipped brow powder today and just used Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel which I am OBSESSED with. I’m going to do a more in-depth review of this in the near future, but this product reminds me of Benefit’s Gimme Brow. It gives the brows a really nice tint to fill out those sparse spots and really holds everything in place all day long. I have thick, long brow hairs, so it’s perfect for me. If you’re on the fence about it, hop off and get it already! Onto the eyes! Today, I played with one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, the CLINIQUE - All About Eyeshadow Palette . I absolutely love this neutral palette because it has a great range of colors, and they are easy to blend and build up. I used one of the darker shades as a smoky liner. It also comes with a really nice double-ended shadow brush and mirror, so it’s perfect for travel. I’m still using and loving the Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara . That length and volume are fantastic. The brush is classic in its design, and the bristles are soft, so it’s very easy to apply and work with, especially in the corners and on the bottom lashes. On the cheeks, we’ve got the trèStiQue - Blush Stick in “Moroccan Rose” and trèStiQue - Highlight & Perfect Multipurpose Stick in “Maldives Luminescent.” The blush is a cream crayon, and I’d call the color a matte coral pink. A little goes a long way, and it’s buildable which is great. I like using my fingers to apply it. The highlight is also a cream crayon, and the color is a champagne tone which works with most skin tones. It’s gorgeous, and it makes it look like you’re glowing from within as opposed to just having glitter on your cheeks. Loving it so far! Finally, I finished this look off with bareMinerals - Moxie Plumping Lip Gloss in the shade “Daredevil” which is a plummy pink tone. It has a bit of a sparkle to it, and it also has that slight plumping peppermint tingle; it’s not overpowering which is just how I like it. Overall, I am digging this look, even if you and my husband are the only ones who are seeing it. Happy almost Thanksgiving! 💕

This dynamic duo from trestique has been a life saver! I’ve been a fan of their Highlight Stick for quite awhile, the Bronzer Stick is already very well loved. These babies are so handy! Not only are they the perfect traveling companions, but they’re legit foolproof. The Trestique sticks are dual sided, with the product on one end and an application tool on the other. As a bonus, the caps are magnetic and sound off with a satisfying “click” when they’re closed. The formula is creamy when applied, blends like a dream and dries down to a powder. The highlight stick hits that perfect spot between a subtle glow and a blinding highlight. It gleams just enough when the light hits your face. The bronzer is a tad too warm to be used as a contour shade for me, but warms up my skin nicely and the flat, slightly angled brush on the bronzer stick is so soft. I’m always up for anything that makes my life easier and these Trestique sticks absolutely fit the bill.

Which one is best????? Mascara BATTLE!
Ok so I got one in my Ipsy bag and one in Boxy charm box. Two mascaras enter! Only one wins! First up is the one I received in my IPSY glam bag plus. trèStiQue - Good Vibes Mascara COST-$25.00 The CLAIMS ✨The ultimate curling, lengthening, and volumizing Mascara. ✨An all in one complete with lash curling tool! First of its kind. 🍃Vegan and cruelty free. REAL TALK This mascara is not horrible but it will take a lot to get me to stray from my go to benefit Bad Gal lash. I just didn’t fall in love with it. It just looked like regular mascara to me. And as far as the curler goes, it’s just a half size, which means your lashes are not being curled all at once and this can cause clumping issues. Plus if you get your lid you might get cut .😂 Definitely proceed with caution!! I prefer the full size curler hands down. So it looses a star for performance and one for the half size curler. 😂 Next up! Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara COST-$24.00 This one came in my first Body Charm box. The CLAIMS ✨Waterproof, intense black mascara. ✨Heart-shaped fibers, and conditioning hemp derived CBD oil for healthier looking lashes. ✨Smooth application, not fallout. 🍃Vegan and cruelty free as well! REAL TALK I was not expecting to like this one as much as I do! It really does glide on nicely. No I can’t see and heart shaped fibers 😂 but this mascara did add nice volume and really does well on the lower lashes. There was no fall out as claimed. Also this packaging, it so heavy for a tube of mascara! It’s a metal tube and I am just saying, I think the Cosmetics industry is making everything to double as a weapon. I mean I really think you could break a nose with this tube. 😂 By no way shape or form am I endorsing violence but personal protection is more important than ever. And no one would expect mascara as a weapon. Like for real. This one gets 4 stars for performance and 1 extra for the fact it has conditioning properties. There is not a massive difference between the two mascaras I mean you guys can be the judge but I do think the milk makeup mascara adds more volume than the trestique. What do you guys think?? #Cherie Creator❤️

Useful or Just a Gimmick?
I love mascara. It’s definitely my favorite makeup. If I could choose only one makeup for the rest of my life, it would be mascara. I just think it instantly makes me look better! Anyway, I’m always in the market for a great mascara. I received Trestique’s Good Vibes Mascara + Eyelash curler as part of my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus this month. The product has mascara on one end and a built in lash curler on the other. I was skeptical right away, because this sounded like a gimmick. I hate gimmicks. But, the curler and mascara got great reviews, so I was interested to try it. I’m sad to say, in my eyes, it’s just a gimmick. The curler is hard to use, it’s tiny and you have to use it at least three times on each all to get all the lashes. So, it’s very uneven. Then the mascara is nothing to write home about. It’s fine, but it doesn’t do anything amazing for my lashes. Do you have a product that sounds like a gimmick but is actually great you love? trèStiQue - Good Vibes Mascara

TrèStique All Over Starlighters ($18) Um... are these trestique highlighter sticks the cutest thing that you've ever seen or what?! The packaging is adorable and I love the star pattern! 'What Else You Need to Know: This twist-up powder stick gives skin a radiant, starlit glow in as little as one stroke. The powder stick eliminates the need for brushes, reducing wasted product and giving you the ultimate control over your application. The formula blends seamlessly into skin to give a lit-from-within, multidimensional glow.-Twist up and apply directly to eyelids, face, or body for a starlit glow. No brush needed.' I haven't used them yet but I have high hopes that they're going to be bomb! Tbh I don't want to use them. The stars are too cute to ruin! Sigh. I'll swatch them soon, I promise.

I adore the packaging and love the formulation! The only downside is that I wish they contained more product. They're only 1.5g each. As the blurb mentioned, there won't be any wasted product since you apply them directly to the skin but 1.5g is still really small.

The Perfect Berry!
The Perfect Berry!
Color: Belize Bordeaux, a super flattering berry color that is on the darker side. Very pigmented and suits my olive complexion. Formula: Matte lip crayon color with a balm attached to the bottom to make it glossy if desired. I like the concept a lot, but the balm sometimes runs the matte color. It can get a little patchy upon application as well. Overall: A beautiful color lipstick with an almost perfect formula. I feel pretty happy with it. There are lots of other berry colors out there, so I might still look for one with that perfect formula for me. trèStiQue - Matte Color & Shiny Balm Lip Crayon

Can we talk about how gorgeous
Can we talk about how gorgeous these trestique highlight sticks are? I’ve been using the lighter shade, Maldives Luminescent, for awhile, but my friends at trèStiQue we’re kind enough to send over the rose gold shade, Bondi Beach, and I’m obsessed. One of the things that I love about trèStiQue, as a brand, is that their products are all in stick form, super travel-friendly and each have a tool attached. I feel like I could pack an entire face of makeup with their products for a weekend away. The convenience of the product and tool in one compact stick is everything. I’m all about a quick, easy makeup routine lately.

All Over Starlighter Powder Highlight Stick

•Nomad Cosmetics “around the w
•Nomad Cosmetics “around the world light infusion powder” in Positano sunrise: a pretty coral/pink highlighting blush - I had never heard of this brand before receiving this blush, but I love the color and shimmer so I look forward to trying more products from them! •Smashbox “photo finish primerizer”: I love this primer! It’s super lightweight & my tinted moisturizer goes on so smoothly after applying this. I am alternating between this and the hourglass mineral veil primer right now. •Trestique mini crayon “lip glaze” in English rose: a dark mauve red; this color is too dark for me but I do like this brand (I’ve received a Trestique highlighter in a previous Ipsy bag that I love) . •Luxie Beauty “Harley Quinn detail flat definer” shadow brush: has super soft bristles, is vegan and cruelty-free •BRTC “velvet sheet mask duo”: Vitamin F (oil and moisture balance) and Vitamin C (dull, pigmented skin) - can’t wait to use these! .
