Old VS New: PM Essence
🏞 I love love love essences and toners and I actually use three different ones in the morning and three different ones at night, so six in a day. I know, I know...I never claimed to be a minimalist. But I am a huge proponent of the seven skin method where you pat various layers of toner/essence into the skin. I think it makes the skin so soft and glowy and plump. 🏞 But anyways...I tend to reserve my richer toners/essences for nighttime and for about six months I was using the Blithe 5 Energy Roots Vital Treatment however I just ran out so I’m replacing it with my CosRx Propolis Synergy Toner. Here’s my comparison: THE OLD 🏞 Blithe 5 Energy Roots Vital Treatment is a thicker consistency hydrating toner containing (as the name suggests) several roots including ginseng, lotus, and burdock. This essence is packed with antioxidants and made my skin incredibly soft and bright. I would definitely repurchase but I’m working on finishing up what I have now. THE NEW 🏞 CosRx Propolis Synergy Toner is a much more lightweight toner than the Vital Treatment. This product contains an impressive 72.6% Black Bee Propolis and 10% Honey. This product is not quite as hydrating as the Vital Treatment but it leaves my skin glowy and clear. The antimicrobial effects of the honey have really been helping with my fun bout of quarantine acne without drying my skin out.

⁣⁣⁣ ✨ Vital Treatment 8 Nourishing Beans⁣⁣⁣ This essence is packed with 8 different peptide and vitamin-rich beans. It contains little beads packed with vitamin E which help to firm the skin and slow signs of aging. It is good for strengthening skin’s foundation, reducing wrinkles, and improving a dull complexion.⁣⁣⁣ This essence is very nourishing and hydrating and it gives me that plump and dewy look. Its gel-like texture is slightly thicker than usual essences, but it's still light on the skin and doesn’t have a tacky feeling. The tiny beads instantly burst as I massage them into my skin. It has a mild fragrance from essential oils but it goes away fast. I really like the chic frosted packaging but it’s a bit tricky to get the product out of it. Overall, I really do enjoy adding this essence in my regime!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ✨ Inbetween Makeup Prep Essence ⁣⁣⁣ This is a multitasking product that acts as a serum and a makeup primer. The key ingredients are squalane and ceramides for strengthening skin’s barrier, and niacinamide for that brightening and smoothing action. However, this contains alcohol as the THIRD ingredient which is high up on the list so beware if that’s something your skin can’t tolerate. Personally I didn’t have any issues with it! The texture of this serum is like water gel that feels sticky at first but it goes away after being patted in. I think this does the job of keeping my makeup in place and preventing my pores from clogging. ⁣

Benefits of Green Tea for Skin
Benefits of Green Tea for Skin
BLITHE - Soothing & Healing Green Tea Splash Mask I usually splash this on my face during shower, because the formula is really really concentrated,  so it needs to be dilluted with the shower water. Once I go out, my skin will be so even and bright and radiant. I use this about three times a week. innisfree - Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum My favorite green tea product is the innisfree green tea seed serums. As a both green tea extract and green tea seed oil in the formula really high up on the ingredients list, it's just a really moisturizing nurturing, calming serum in a beauty texture that absorbs directly into skin.

Yes, this is a serum!! This pressed serum is formulated with cold-processed chaga mushroom extract at a 56.4% concentration. It has a blend of fermented olive and argan oil which provides hydration, protects skin against environmental stressors, and minimizes signs of aging.⁣ ⁣ Thoughts:⁣ The dark brown colour and texture are interesting to me cause I’ve never seen anything like it before! With its thick pudding-like consistency, I thought it would be heavy on the skin but it actually feels soo light and spreads soo smoothly. It is fast absorbing and non-greasy so it can be a perfect lightweight moisturizer for summer time. The packaging is so luxe and it even comes with a little scoop. My only issue is the lingering scent, it makes me dizzy bruh 😩 ⁣ But overall, I love the quality of this 2 in 1 product. It plumps and nourishes my skin and boosts my moisture level. Can’t wait to see how this helps with my fine lines over time!⁣

I absolutely cannot start my day without using this product. This is currently my third jar! I love to use this under makeup or as early morning skincare. It give my skin such a beautiful glow and hasn’t broken me out. They provide a little spatula you use to scoop out the product which I really appreciate as it keeps the product clean. It has a very light apricot scent and melts and absorbs beautiful into the skin over toner and essences. It also helps boost my matte foundations and provides a more natural Demi matte finish to them when I use this underneath them.

Splash mask!
Splash mask!
This “liquid mask” is formulated with green tea extract, lactic acid, salicylic acid and other botanical extracts to exfoliate, balance, and brighten the skin. ⁣ ⁣ How to use it:⁣ Pour a capful of the product into a bowl and dilute it with water at a 100:1ratio. Lightly pat onto your cleansed face during or after shower and let it absorb into the skin. Use 2-3x a week. It can also be used as a scalp mask; just mix an appropriate amount with water and massage onto the scalp after shampooing.⁣ ⁣ My experience:⁣ It has a strong citrus fragrance when I open it but it becomes bearable once I mix it with water. It gives a cooling sensation that lasts even after I finish my whole skincare routine and it feels really nice! I’m really amazed at how it instantly brightens and softens my face. I also like to use this all over my body especially on my knees, elbows, and heels that need exfoliation.⁣ I highly recommend this product! 💚
