dyson - Airwrap Styler I absolutely love love love this system. I have little to no coordination when it comes to styling my hair. This system has made curling my hair sooooo much easier. I would recommend this product to people like me. I have a genetic disorder that makes every joint in my body dislocate multiple times a day so the less time i can spend on my hair there better. It is light weight and balanced. With a normal hair dryer I would spend about 20-30 minutes on my hair. With my Dyson I spend about 5 minutes. If I'm curling my hair with an iron I would spend 1-1.5 hours and have multiple burns. With the Dyson it takes me 30 minutes if my hair is dripping wet. It took a while to get used to the length of the base butt once you are used to it, you don't notice it as much. I am also able to dry my 3 year old step daughter's hair in under 5 minutes. It is much quieter than a normal dryer which means I can do my hair without waking up anyone in my house so that is also a major win in my book.

dyson - Airwrap Styler First things first, I got lucky and had Dyson credit & a discount which is the literal only reason I have this magical tool in my possession bc it is horrendously expensive & if you don’t wanna read this whole review (I talk too much, i get it) then simply put, it is absolutely NOT worth the investment. 📍My hair: very fine & dry, color treated, kinda sad overall 🤷🏼‍♀️ 📍Dolllas: Smooth & Control System $499 (what I have), entire system with all attachments $549 ❌Reccomend: Simply put, big fat NOPEEE (for not so simply put, see below) Now, if you find a sale or have all the time in the world to master the tool then I def say go for it because it’s amazing that you can do everything with one tool + all its fancy attachments. I think the best way to do this would be to break it down to attachment & talk about them inidicidually? So here goes: ✅Blow drying: This thing is MAGIC. I already have fine hair that dries fast but this baby has my hair going from wet to dry in like 7 minutes. AMAZING ok and hot without like being so hot you wanna die? ✅Firm smoothing brush: This is hard to get used to bc the base of the tool is so big but once you get a hang of it again, AMAZING. I was blown away that I could get a salon looking blowout legit sitting on my butt at my house. 1 or 2 YouTube tutorials and you’ll be a pro. ❌Coanda effect curlers - Now don’t get my wrong this whole curl-with-air thing is dope and feels like sorcery but they’re my least favorite attachment. I only use them like every once in a while if I have time because it takes FOREVER. Again I have thin hair and find that I have to told each section on the air for 10ish seconds then a couple more with the cold shot and it takes so long I wanna die by the time my hair is ready. Plus I have thin hair so if your hair is thick RIP bc idk how you’ll make it. If you’re dedicated though and not as lazy as me, you might love this bc the results are INSANE (see photo) like bombshell VS photo shoot amazing. And my hair holds curl really well as I’m naturally wavy but I’ve heard of people’s curls falling out in just a few short hours - so this I’m assuming is YMMV. Again as a general wrap up, it’s really not worth it. Save your money by buying a Dyson dryer on its own or drying brush (like revlon or Drybar) individually. #CherieCreator #Dyson

I recently got the Dyson airwrap complete long during Sephora’s VIB sale. I always wanted to try it but as I’m sure most of you know it’s super expensive 😬 However, this year I was like f*ck it, and got it as early Christmas present to myself 😉 And I ABSOLUTELY love it! 😍 This picture was literally taken 5 minutes ago, which was the very first time I used it. I’d definitely say it’s easy to use and self explanatory 😋 If you’re on the fence about it I say go for it! In today’s not-at-all-surprising news: Heat styling can cause insane damage to your hair. Wow! The shock! Yeah, I know we all know this, but even though I’m fully aware that I’m hurting my waves each time I run a straightener over them, I’m not about to give up the habit, you know? That being said, I’d ideally like not to destroy my hair, which is why I was so intrigued by the dyson - Corrale Hair Straightener—the new cordless flat iron that promises to “reduce damage by 50 percent” and leave you with glossy shine. All for a cool $500.  I’m not made of money. It would take a lot to convince me to spend that much on a flat iron. But I also know that if anyone could do it, it’d probably be Dyson. Aside from the fact that I’ve seen the insanely great results all over my Insta feed for weeks, I also know that Dyson’s claims tend to be backed by A LOT of research. So after wrangling one to try on myself, I put it to the test for a month to see what it would do to my damaged, stressed-out hair. Onward for my ~hot take~ on the Corrale. Dyson already made everyone in the beauty world freak out when it paused on the high-tech vacuums and released the very fancy hair dryer in 2016 and then theairwtap styler a few years later. So no matter what, the Corrale was automatically being released into a cloud of hype. And thus my skepticism. But as I read virtually everything there is to read on the Corrale’s technology for this review, I can honestly say the hype isn’t unearned. Dyson apparently spent seven freakin’ years working on a ton of prototypes to create, seemingly, The Greatest Straightener of All Time—one that allegedly turns coarse hair into butter and dry hair into pure shine, all while minimizing heat damage. Yeah, the last part sounds the most questionable, but this is where the legit technology comes in: Rather than using the classic tourmaline or ceramic plates found in most straighteners, the Corrale uses magnesium copper plates that subtly flex and bend around a section of hair, while also measuring their own heat about 100 times per second. The end result? Better tension and more even heat distribution, leaving you with way less damage. The iron lets you choose between three heat settings (330° F, 365° F and 410° F), so I went with 365° F, since my hair texture is on the coarser side. I usually feel some tugging or snagging when I straighten my hair, but the Dyson glided down each section smoothly, and it somehow didn’t leave my hair feeling scalding hot—just perfectly warm.   I’ve been using the Dyson straightener for weeks, and my hair doesn’t feel any more damaged than it did before, which is good?! But obviously, I can’t exactly compare my previous damage levels with current damage levels. All I can really talk about is the visual difference, and when I straighten with the Dyson, my hair just looks...better. Shinier, softer, and smoother. While the Dyson isn’t cheap, it also isn’t some basic straightener with a puffed-up price tag—it’s pretty futuristic. So for someone who wants glossy hair with less damage (*raises hand*) or just also loves a luxe-AF hairstyling experience (*raises other hand*), I think it’s totally worth saving up for. Or, you know, begging your parents/partner/wealthy BFF for.

My hair is naturally frizzy, after using this product my natural frizz is gone. I also find using a small amount of hair serum whilst straightening my hair combats all the frizz. I am always on my way looking for a perfect straightener. ghd - Platinum+ Professional Performance Styler These are the two that I have on hand. GHD is my always top one loved one. And the Dyson is my new purchase. Two things I found amazing about this flat iron from GHD are, first of all, the platinum plates.I thought this looks very fancy. And I did some research on it. Basically, platinum plates promise to make your hair shinier as you style it. And they also promise to prevent breakage.I do notice that my hair is shiny when I straighten it and I do feel my hair got less heat damage even I do 2 - 3 times a week. The second thing is, tri-zone technology. According to their website, this technology means that there are three points of heat along the plates to demonstrate consistent temperature throughout the plates. With drugstore straighteners, there are normally just one. One cool thing about this straightener is that it has sleep mode which I love about. It is safe and easy to handle when you are styling. And so many times I left home and suddenly realize that my iron is still on. This feature would turn the styler off after 30 minutes. It is an expensive straightener, after 2 months of use I can say I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Usability is great, even for my little hands, and compared to my former hair straightener there is simply no comparison.  dyson - Corrale Hair Straightener The Dyson one is about $500. The price is insane. The reason I got it is because it is cordless. I have their dryers and I’ve always been obsessed with Dyson technology. I remembered I was scared of those hot tools when I first learn to style my hair and cannot remember how many times I burnt myself because of those cord. Honestly I am a little disappointed with this one. Technology wise it is cool. The battery is so disappointed. I charge it overnight and it only last for 25 minutes. GHD wins since they are the experts in straighter and it doesnt damage the hair as most straigners do.

Hi y’all! (I’m still reeling from the attempted coup at the Capitol and terrified for the next 12 days, BUT HOW ARE YALL??? 🥶) Here’s where I am about 2 ish months since I started following my hair care routine outlined in my first post: ✅ My curls are looking less frizzy, even when I use my Dyson hairdryer. ✅ My hair length went from just below my shoulders to mid back. ✅ When I do a regular braid at night, it’s thicker than it has been in the past - it’s about 3-4 inches thick when braided. I’m going to continue to work towards healthier curls! I’m loving how my hair looks and my curls are definitely better than they were 2 months ago. I also want to grow my hair out even more. I remember growing up and seeing pictures of my mom around her wedding/honeymoon time. Her hair was soooo long, down to her knees! I’ve always wanted my hair to be that long so I’m going to work towards that. I’ve also always wanted a nice, thick, long braid to decorate on my wedding day (whenever that is lol). All of the jasmine flowers, and putting jewelry in it has been a dream of mine. So hopefully I’ll get there without too many extensions 🤞🏽 What have you done during your healthy curls journey? 😊👇🏽

This is all the hair samples I’ve tried in the past few weeks and also a part 2 of @amika faves ✨ @amika Bust your Brass line introduced me to the concept that a purple conditioner can do SO much for blonde hair. Up until then I only ever used a purple shampoo, and even the @amika one I felt was superior to my previous. My previous purple shampoo was purple but washed off white and foamy while amika: - Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo and washer off as a purple foam- which makes me think it’ll do the most for blonde hair! I also really love the amika: - Bust Your Brass Violet Leave-In Treatment Foam , I’ve been working it in after styling and I really love it. Some other new faves are Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo and the Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask . I had no idea how much I needed a scalp scrub until I tried this, and now I know I need one in my routine. Ot makes your scalp feel so much cleaner- and dont worry about the scrub cleansers- they dissolve easily. I actually went and bought the full sizes shortly after finishing the samples. I also think its important to note that the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager is the real key to scalp treatment- for both cleansing and overall hair treatment. Its been long known that massaging the scalp circulates blood flow to the roots and can help with hair growth. Finally, I tried VERB - VERB Ghost Shampoo , VERB - VERB Ghost Conditioner and VERB - Ghost Oil that I received from a virtual gift exchange. To be honest, the shampoo and conditioner didnt jump out at me as something amazing but I really did like the Ghost oil, made my ends feel smooth. VERB - Ghost Starter Kit
