No-Makeup Monday! (and a guide to hormonal acne)
I'm very proud of my skin right now considering I'm on my period and extremely hormonal. Of course the texture is THERE and REAL. (The lighting is just good.) On my period I usually get whiteheads on my nose & chin, painful mild acne on my hairline, & small annoying texture alllll over my cheeks. Which I AM experiencing, but I've been keeping under control better then ever! Do you experience hormonal acne? ⬇️ DON'T PICK, SQUEEZE, OR POP (or just keep it to a minimum) I get it, it's tempting, and our anxiety can get to us. Honestly, in my opinion, sometimes it's harmless. I removed a blackhead yesterday and immediately took the precautions afterwards. But I used to sit in front of my mirror for so long just picking at my entire face. Until I would step back and cry because my skin looked so ruined, red, and inflammed. I would cancel any plans I had coming up and dwell in my room. Get enough SLEEP! 💤 A good sleep schedule is so important for your skin, and not just when you're on your period. (But it definitely does help.) I've been on vacation and getting more sleep then normal. I've definitely noticed a difference in my skin! Keep your hair out of your face! 🚫 I never realized how much I could control the texture on my cheeks by just keeping my hair up & away from my face. It minimizes irritation and the spread of bacteria so much! Wash/switch out your pillowcases! 🛏 On my period I try to switch out my pillowcases after 2 consecutive uses. So every other night. I've noticed a huge difference in my hormonal acne by doing this. When i'm not on my period I switch them out every week. (or at least I try to.) But your pillowcase collects so much bacteria, even from your hair! And I definitely don't want my hair grease & products transferring onto my skin the next night. Don't overexfoliate or overuse treatments!⚠️ This was one of my biggest mistakes in the past, especially when on my period. I would go crazy on acids to try to clear up my skin. It's better to keep it consistent, or even go easier on your skin. Typically I do some kind of exfoliating every night, switching out between BHA and AHA's. So I use BHA about 3 times a week and AHA about 3 times a week. (And in the morning a vitamin C.) But this week, a few nights I used my COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence And my La Roche Posay Toleriane fluide Oil free Moisturizer, and called it good. (A review about this moisturizer coming soon!) Ending 2020 on a brighter note ✨
Ending off the year on a brighter note ✨ ⠀ We all dream of having bright glowing skin but if you’re anything like me, hyperpigmentation can get in the way of that. That’s why I’m going to let you in on my little secret... ⠀ @renskincare Glow Tonic! This magic potion will not only help fade your hyperpigmentation but it will make your skin glow like you’ve never seen it before. I have used this product for the last 8 months (this is my second bottle) and I have seen incredible results. ⠀ I like to use it in the morning (with spf of course!) and let it work it’s magic throughout the day. I have never had a problem with irritation of purging but I do recommend patch testing before diving in. ⠀ It retails for $38 and has a pump applicator which I love. Just pump it onto a cotton pad and apply all around your skin doing a few swipes over your dark spots! Over time the lactic acid salicilin and axel of acid will work its magic to deliver beautiful glowing skin! ⠀ Have you tried the glow tonic?! Ren Evercalm Mask: an epic fail
REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask The mask itself is super calming with its light jade color and almost-eucalyptus scent. It felt so fresh and rich to put on my face. I was really enjoying myself for the 10-15 minutes you’re supposed to leave the mask on! But then..oh man. When I took this mask off, my face was bright red. Like hive-esque red. Like holy moly I’m having an allergic reaction or somethin’ RED. And then came the itch. My face was itchy until I fell asleep that night. It felt like I had rubbed poison oak on my skin. It did feel hydrated though? So if your skin isn’t sensitive like mine, maybe this would work for you. I give it 2 stars for the color, texture, scent, and hydration. But this is not worth it to me. I will never, ever, ever use this again nor will I recommend it to other people. Have you used this? Did you experience the same thing or do you love it? Any other sensitive skin, hydrating mask recommendations? Leave it below!🌿

Flowers And Sugar Molecules🌸🌸 A Skincare Pairing That May Surprise You
Two super ingredients, not super catchy titles: arnica and beta-glucan. They’re not flowery botanical names or snappy scientific terms - they are two widely unknown compounds, but they work together in quiet harmony.   I discovered this heavenly combination on the ingredients list of my REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask. I’ve been buying Ren products ever since they launched recycled ocean plastic bottles - their packaging is sustainable and their products are super ethical and natural. What’s not to love? The Evercalm range is specially designed for sensitive skin, which mine can be sometimes. I don’t like to use anything harsh, synthetic, or overly perfumed. So I snapped it up for using on self-care Sundays.   As a skincare maniac, I’ve got quite good at reading ingredients lists - I know my retinoids from my tretinoids, my AHAs from my BHAs. But for these ingredients, I had to turn to Google.   In short, beta-glucan (BG) is a sugar molecule, and a “humectant”. This means it retains moisture. It’s also a known collagen booster (as someone turning 30 this year, the anti-ageing implications of collagen are big for me). It wards off environmental threats to the skin and protects it from exposure to the elements. I read that dermatologists have been utilising arnica for a long time (it’s derived from the yellow flower arnica montana, and is good for diminishing bruises), but recently, they have discovered it has the potential to boost the restorative effects of beta-glucan.   Beta-glucan stimulates blood flow, so it has the power to reduce puffiness, swelling and irritation. Arnica has similar soothing properties - it’s basically made for people with sensitive skin. Historically, arnica has been used to soothe muscles and heal wounds. So while BG is boosting from within, arnica is protecting and healing from the outside. The ingredients work together to provide a “shield” across the epidermis. Research into their deeper relationship is just beginning, but this combination has powerful potential.   The Rescue Mask is a great example of the ingredients functioning together. I leave it on for 15 minutes then rinse, and in the morning I follow it up with the REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream. This is similarly designed for sensitive skin, so the arnica soothes any blemishes and irritations, and the beta-glucan ensures the moisture is locked in all day.

REN just ok products
I got this set during the REN sale too, I will say not a favorite like the other REN products I’ve reviewed but I don’t hate them and here’s why! Global protection day cream- in my review of the mini I was torn on whether I liked this product because it has such a organic herbs smell and I wasn’t into that early in the morning, but after using it a lot more I really don’t mind the smell. Not as moisturizing as the other REN day cream I love the Vita-mineral cream but still a good one! The revitalizing night cream? First off I didn’t notice any difference like it was lessening my acne or my dark spots or clearing my texture so eh on performance, it’s another herbal smell that I don’t very much enjoy before bed but who cares right? Mama didn’t raise no baby! I do like how it feels a bit oily when I put it on that I don’t use a face oil after because I believe there actually are oils in this night cream to help hydrate. There is rosehip seed oil and I know you are supposed to use this in conjunction with the face oil they have that I reviewed so I like it enough it moisturizes fine just not a favorite 4/5 for both of these products because they aren’t complete duds I just don’t love them yah know? I do like the global protection day cream over the revitalizing night cream if that helps anyone.

REN calming line
Okay here’s the review in the REN calm line The overnight balm? A fricken godsend, don’t listen to the reviews that say it is like rubbing Vaseline on your face, they probably used way too much. I squirt out a pea sized amount, Rub it in between my fingers to warm it up and rub it on my face. Honestly reminds me of a face oil so much I’m convinced it’s a face oil in solid form. I love it. It beats out using face oil to lock my moisture in my face when I wear a mask during work. Amazing product. I did buy the full size already I loved it so much! Global protection day cream- nice whipped texture, it does have essential oils but they are so concentrated and low on the list that they should not cause acne or bug your skin at all. They didn’t bug my skin at all it’s been very glowy and smooth even using this so I’m impressed. Only downside it does have a smell, like rubbing herbs on your face. I don’t mind it that much but early in the morning when I’m going to eat breakfast I don’t need to smell it while I’m eating toast you know? The smell does go away don’t worry it just takes an hour or two sadly. I’m still torn on whether or not I’ll repurchase this one because it did treat my skin very well you guys idk The calm serum- smells like baby perfume, honestly did nothing for my skin, sure might have hydrated it a bit but nothing amazing that I took notice. And for the price tag of the full size serum? Not worth it. I also saw no redness claiming affect The winner here is the overnight balm, it’s heaven. The runner up is the global protection cream I’m still on the fence about it. And the loser is the calming serum.

Newbie Skincare Routine! Any advice?
So, i've recently had an awakening when i realized that i was slowly (yet, quickly) approaching my 30s (turning 27 in October). Figured, now is a good time to start taking care of my skin and tbh, just had my two kids and it'll feel nice to pamper myself now. I've started dipping my toes into the skincare world quite recently and have done so by watching Skincare by Hyram, Susan Yara, and reading up on all sorts of skincare junkie pages. So far, i've learned the basics and am attempting to incorporate more "serious" products (serums and treatments) into my skincare routine (which was just cleanser, toner, vit c, moisturizer, spf and the ocassional mask). First thing's first: i have oily combo skin. Not acne prone, just the ocassional pimple now and then. I also live in Ontario and have kids under two and workout 3x/week. So that pretty much tells you my state and environment. So i've pretty much laid the whole routine out out in my chart (hehe sorry, i love charts). I had to do it since it was so intimidating to begin with specialized products. I haven't used the REN or Laneige masks, or the TO retinol yet, but am going to this week. Been using the Thayer's tone, SPF and complex 15 for about 3 months now and they've been fine. Everything else has been used twice. I don't cleanse in the morning. Just the thayer's toner and the rest. My issues are probably an oily Tzone, larger pores and uneven skintone. I'd love any tips, advice or Feedback! Thx!

😡Never buy it if you don't want to ruin your skin!
REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask Steer clear of it! It has an orange flesh texture and a very pungent taste. Once I put the mask on my face, followed the instructions and washed it off in ten minutes. Howeve, I felt as if I was in a room filled with formaldehyde. The smell was extremely bad, and my face was so stinging. After about seven or eight minutes I couldn't stand to wash it off, and then I was shocked! My face turned red!😱😱😱 Even after the redness disappeared the next day, the skin remained rough for about a week, feeling like sandpaper. Although the first experience was not that good, I didn't give up and used it again. However, it still didn't work for me at all. It doesn't have an instant glowing effect nor does it get rid of acne. How can such an expensive mask not at least offer an instant effect? Shouldn't I just have gone for a vitamin C serum? It may have something to do with my slightly sensitive skin. I hope you guys choose skincare products carefully, especially sensitive skin! I'm giving it zero points and I definitely won't repurchase it! Did you have the similar experience as me. Feel free tell me below!👇

REN Skincare for Maskacne
I told you guys I would buy the full size of these babies because I loved them so much! After I wear a mask all day long and my skin feels all gunked up I use the ren radiance toner and this dark spot overnight cream. It just gets rid of any oncoming acne it is a god send! And the recovery balm I actually use before I have to put a mask on for 8 hours because it traps in the moisture better then anything I’ve tried before. And it does leave my face baby soft so that’s a plus! 5/5 love love love these two

REN Skincare good for environment good for me!
Also snagged this little trail sized kit from REN so I was able to try their beloved Glow line everyone is talking about.... here are my thoughts REN AHA tonic- a fricken godsend for me and my maskne, I use this after my shower at night and after wearing a face mask for 8 hours (hello retail) this just refreshes my skin and keeps my maskne at bay I feel like, I haven’t had as much breakouts pop up as usual and it’s thanks to this baby right here. It’s gentle so I can use it everyday which I love since the strong exfoliant serums I use can only be used twice a week it helps those two days I use it but besides that my skin goes back to normal so love this everyday use one Vitamin C gel cream- I thought this wouldn’t be enough for my dry skin and to be fair it isn’t alone, smells like light light oranges not too strong that the fragrance worries me at all, I use this in the morning and lock in the moisture with an oil or the REN overnight calm balm that’s basically a balm I rub into my hands then put all over my face and feels just like I put a face oil on (I’ll review that in my next one), back to this cream I love it! Smells good and hey it’s a useful cream in the long run so I am considering repurchasing this baby I do like it Overnight spot cream- amazing! Doesn’t smell orangey more natural but still spreads amazingly feels like there are oils in it because there is a bit of a oil residue left behind which I very much love for my dry skin it will drink anything up, I don’t use it alone at night my dry skin I have to use an oil with it in the summer I’m sure it’d be fine alone This whole set I give a 5/5 amazing products and yes I did actually purchase the full size of the overnight spot cream to help my dark acne spots because I did notice a difference, I might repurchase the vitamin c gel cream when I have some money saved up but I definitely will repurchase the gel cream and the tonic when I run out, amazing products. I’m liking REN a lot you guys!

1 month + on Paulas Choice Results
It’s been almost 2 months on Paulas choice and I’ve seen tremendous change on my skin! I’ve been using the same products in my last post consistently since I started, no change to diet or water intake if anything thanks to COVID I’ve gained more than a few pounds and indulged in eating some trashy foods. 😂 With that being said I do have hormonal acne usually a week before my menstrual cycle starts I break out with painful red acne on my chin area, jaw line, neck, and cheek bones BUT i do have to give major thanks to this one product that has made a huge difference in my skin out of all the products I’ve used especially during this outbreak PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C Around the time my menstrual cycle starts I switch out my whole night time routine for retinol use every night so I do not develop any painful acne, I use a gentle cleanser beforehand and use a gel moisturizer afterwards to keep my skin hydrated. I will be leaving updated reviews for each item I used in my last post and see what I will be repurchasing. Also please feel free to let me know what worked for you! Ren Sunscreen
Guess what just launched in Canada? @renskincare clean screen mineral SPF 30 aka the most reliable sunscreen I’ve ever used, finally launched in Canada. I’ll start by giving a huge shoutout to Ren for creating a highly effective sunscreen without recourse to the usual questionable ingredients. Pros: Since it’s a mineral sunscreen (22% zinc oxide), you’ll have to blend it well into the skin. With a matte finish, it wears amazingly well both alone and under makeup . I experienced some blend-ability issues with a few foundations but nothing major. I altered between two sunscreens this summer, a lighter one @muradskincare on cloudy days and the one from Ren on sunny/ high UV index days. I also reached out for it on holiday when I sunbathed (had to reapply every two hours to make sure to avoid burning up my skin). It did a wonderful job at protecting my face, I didn’t experience any of my usual breakouts or the annoying post-sun-thick-and-dry-skin. Cons: it smells like baby pomade (zinc oxide) but the smell goes away once it’s well blended. Also, it needs to be massaged into the skin to avoid any residual white cast. Besides that, the formula, the finish and the protection it provides are very much worth the work. Have you ever tried this sunscreen?REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Clean Screen Mineral SPF 30

Sephora favorites samples worth it? 👀✨
When I saw this Sephora favorites bag, I really wanted to get it for the ren body serum and the caudalie gel cleanser. I debated if it was even worth it, I bit the bullet and got it. I’ve got to say these are worth it. It’s great that it includes a 15% off code for each item. The caudalie purifying gel cleanser is 1oz. The full size is $28 for 5oz so it comes out to $5.60 and oz. first time I tried it it felt really good on my face. Didn’t dry me out and if I end up loving it I’ll have to get the full size. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser Ren clean skincare body serum, this came in a great 1.7 oz. The full size is $42 for 6.8 oz. so it comes out to about $6 with some change. I’ve been using this for a couple days and it feels great on my skin. REN CLEAN SKINCARE - AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum Lancôme mascara. This is the mini 0.06oz. The full size is $25 for 0.33 oz, $13 for the 0.13 travel size so the mini 0.06 comes out to $6.50. Pretty nice mascara so far. It doesn’t clump up. LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Mascara Ouai hair oil. This came in the 0.33 mini size. The full size is $28 for 1.5 oz, $14 for 0.45 oz. This mini size I will assume it’s about $10-12. Just used this oil and it’s incredibly soft. The downside is the smell. It’s pretty heavy but it kinda smells like gardenia flowers to me. OUAI - OUAI Hair Oil Make up for ever ultra HD microfinishing loose powder. It’s in a tiny 1 g jar. The full size $36 for 8.5 g, $20 for 4 g travel size so the 1 g jar would be about $5. I’ve had this powder before and really likes it a lot. It’s super fine which I love. It sets my makeup well and hasn’t given me that many creases. MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder Versace perfume sample. In a very tiny spray. It’s 0.03 oz. The travel size in a spray is $30 for 0.3oz. So for 0.03 it would be about $3.75 I’ve had this in the travel size roller ball. Really nice perfume with flowery notes. I love the peony, lotus and magnolia scents. VERSACE - Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette This bag was definitely worth it to me. I ended up liking every single product. As in the price, I’d say it’s pretty good. Personally the value of the bag is more than the $10 I spent. This may definitely not be correct but this bag could have a value of about $37! The math could be way off but to me I really liked this. Have you tried or bought this bag, or are you not interested?

My Go-To Body Exfoliants
I love all three of these so much, and yes I’ve posted about each of them separately but I just can’t get enough lol. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Revealing Body Lotion 10% AHA + This gentle exfoliating lotion helps get rid of the dead-skin buildup, as well as diminish the red bumps on arms and legs. This is also quite hydrating. Only downside: don’t use after you’ve just shaved your legs; it’ll burn lol. It contains 10% glycolic acid. Retails for $22.40 USD. reversa - Skin Smoothing Body Lotion + 🇨🇦 A lovely Canadian brand! This also contains 10% glycolic acid and works essentially the same as the Paula’s choice lotion. Upside: it’s so much easier to get for us Canadians :) This can also be used on your hands-leaves them feeling super soft! Retails for $36 USD. REN CLEAN SKINCARE - AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum + This serum contains lactic acid, where as the other two contains glycolic acid. This serum is considerably hydrating as well and it smells lovely (like oranges). It makes your skin feel super soft and helps with exfoliating as well. Retails for $55 CAD. ————————————- All of the above products work so well that I can’t choose a favourite. These all do a great job at making my skin feel smooth and appear more even. They’ve also done a great job at removing keratosis pilaris. With all 3, I wouldn’t use on the days I’ve shaved my legs because they can all lead to the burning sensation. Otherwise they’re all super gentle and hydrating. These are also great to use if you’re prone to ingrown hairs! 100% recommend all of them :)

Same Category Awards (Face cream, Eye cream, etc.)
Despite browsing many skincare solution posts on the blogosphere for the dilemma of eczema, rosacea, and redness on my sensitive, dry skin, rectifying this issue was a very daunting task for me. With many skin care products in the beauty market, it was very tough to choose the product that would suit my sensitive, dry skin. A few months ago, I suffered from eczema, rosacea, and redness on my face. This was a very fucked up situation for me because I got lost being overwhelmed by numerous skin care products in the market, so I decided on trying some stuff. This process for me is what I would call a trial upon trial leading to an accomplishment of eradicating rosacea and redness on my sensitive, dry skin. I never had any skin issues concerning eczema, or rosacea, although the redness had been a problem for some while. So I took a three trial process using a different product from different brands on each trial. Before I proceed, let take a look at the products; 1. La Solution 10 DE Chanel 2. Murad redness therapy 3. Dermalogica Ultra Calming skin kit First Trial With Chanel La Solution 10 CHANEL - LA SOLUTION 10 DE CHANEL Sensitive Skin Cream When you're in the quest to get your skin back to its natural look, It is normal to try several products from different brands. The first trial of my eczema, rosacea, and redness eradication process was with Chanel La Solution 10 DE cream. I purchased this skincare product at a beauty store for a cost of £62, though the price of a skincare product should never be an issue when searching for a remedy for any skin problems Despite being a slightly heavier fluid, with its fragrance-free scent, this solution also contains ten different ingredients combined. Using Chanel La Solution 10, in the first month of my trial process for eczema, rosacea, and redness eradication, was just like a waste of time and money because this never gave me the reaction I wanted, instead, my face remained the same. Second Trial With Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum Murad - Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum With the word "Redness" in this product, I thought I found the remedy for eczema, rosacea, and redness on my sensitive, dry skin. In the second month, I used Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing serum therapy. this serum started its reaction by helping to reduce the redness of my skin. This time, I thought I found the right product for my eczema, rosacea, and redness skin eradication process, but this never counted as a solution to the issue at hand. I enjoyed using this product because of its weightless texture, which is to soothe hydrated skin by attracting and locking in moisture. This serum is also a fragrance-free serum, which cost about £49.50. The second trial was of no difference with the first, only that the Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum helped reduce the redness on my face slightly. Third Trial With REN Clean Skincare Evercalm Anti-Redness Serum REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Evercalm Anti-Redness Serum This odorless, creamy, and milky serum is what I'd define as the breakthrough for my skin dilemma. REN Clean Skincare Evercalm Anti-Redness Serum was the cheapest and most effective remedy for my eczema, rosacea, and redness skin therapy. With a purchase cost of £36, this serum did not make it look like a waste of money and time during my therapy process. This product, for me, is what I call an affordable and a must-buy skincare product for the issue of eczema, rosacea, or redness for any individual who has sensitive, dry skin like me

A COMBO I LIVE BY
I get my dark circles genetically so there is really no way to get rid of them. Some days they are agreeable but most days they aren’t. I also struggle with my really red eyelids, so when I found these products they became a stable. I’ve tried other concealers but nothing truly hides them as well as I would like. PRODUCTS IN PICTURES: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Bright Future Color Correctors I love this because it cancels out the dark circles. It is really messy so I took off a star. I got in shade melon. NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer I use this after the color corrector. It is full coverage and fully covers everywhere applied. I heard about this on TikTok and literally love it. I use shade light 2.6. BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector I also heard about this on TikTok and I only apply it on the inner part of my eye to give it a bright ring effect. It also hides any signs of my dark circles that show through. OTHER PRODUCTS USED: REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Perfect Canvas Clean Primer Use this before I apply my makeup and pat it in. Use 3 drops. MAYBELLINE - TattooStudio Brow Tint Pen in shade 360 medium brown. Gives hairlike effect. I use to fill in my arch. URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray Jumbo & Travel Duo setting spray. Keeps my makeup on all day.

Skincare + Eco-Friendliness (yes, it exists!)
Maybe you’ve been a little more environmentally conscious lately or have been a tree hugger your entire life. Whatever your case may be, I think we can all relate to the feeling of being able to do good while look good 😏🙌🏼 I personally put a lot of emphasis on being eco-friendly when it comes to the skincare industry because of how much waste can accumulate just from packaging alone. Think about how many plastic is on your shelf right now. Here are a few products/brands that are magnetized towards being eco-friendly 👇🏼💗 YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Limited Edition Pride Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser I was able to repurpose this glass bottle into another bottle for my new cleanser. The versatility of glass packaging (heavily endorsed by YTTP) is essential for skincare as it encourages the process of reusing materials without excessive waste. This cleanser is also extremely fresh and leaves my skin feeling super clean. Before, I’d go through countless plastic bottle cleansers that were both non environmentally friendly AND non effective. HERBIVORE - Prism 5% Exfoliating Glow Potion this small herbivore bottle is also made of glass and has a pipet for easy portioning of any liquids. I especially love how Herbivores products are vegan and cruelty free! This specific exfoliant worked in my favor to achieve a glow and vibrant look to my skin. I enjoyed the subtle yet effectiveness of it. REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Perfect Canvas Clean Primer when Ren skincare launches this primer, it not only came in a glass bottle but also a card with instructions on how to properly recycle it after it’s done. This was extremely intuitive on their part as it provides a physical reminder to consumers of the proper way to recycle products. The primer definitely primed my face well as I noticed my makeup staying on longer with this on due to the tacky texture. It comes out as a “serum” but blends into the skin like a “lotion.” Magic, no? Finally, as my last photo, here you can see the packaging boxes of various skincare products ive collected over the years. I cut the packages to fit into a “collage” made on a $5 target cork board with glue. The final result came out so pretty and made for the perfect gift for one of my IG friends! 😏🙌🏼 Being into skincare doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice being environmentally conscious. Being aware of brands who are striving towards the same goal as you can help streamline this habit and help encourage others to be a little more loving to mama earth 😌✨

Do you believe in magic? You will after you use this product! This is probably THE holy grail for any kind of skin irritation or sunburn, and I never thought I’d replace my tried-and-true aloe vera for sunburns. Did I mention it’s super gentle, and that my skin gets zero bad reactions from this? Look at the ingredient list and you’ll realize it’s a gold mine of products and a true “bang” for your buck. Tata Harper, you might want to take note. I cannot stop gushing about this product!

The two best toners! The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution This product is so inexpensive and you get so much! It’s not very harsh but you can feel a slight tingle upon application. REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner This toner smells amazing! It smells like oranges. I got this sample size and am loving it. Once I finish it I’m 100% buying the full size! This product makes your face feel so refreshed.

REN skincare AHA Body serum
REN skincare AHA Body serum
This is a game changing product and everyone must definitely try it out once atleast. It is an AHA body serum with lactic acid as the main Ingredient which not only calms the redness but also makes my arms so smoother rather than bumpy texture. The redness also is visibly less than before. This claims to be serum but its acts as moisturizer because of the presence of Shea butter and exfoliate. I have a whole step which I'm trying and testing out to treat my KP and it's so much better than before and I'm sure this is one of the product which has been a game changer for me.

Tri Phase Jelly Cleanser
Tri Phase Jelly Cleanser
What is it? REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Perfect Canvas Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser is A tri-phase (jelly to oil to milk) cleanser formulated to remove makeup, sunscreen and pollution. Key Ingredients: Grape Seed Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Extract The positives 👍🏼: I like the jelly/balm-y texture of this. I enjoyed the changes in texture of this product while cleansing. It has the same consistency as Vaseline, then turns into oil when applied to skin. Add a tiny bit of warm water then it emulsifies into a milky texture. It also does a great job erasing my makeup. I wear light makeup tho so I don’t know how efficient is this product in removing heavy or even waterproof makeup 🤷🏻‍♀️ The downsides 👎 : First of all, the fragrance puts me off. It’s has a clean floral(?) scent that is too overpowering. Second, it leaves my skin still oily after emulsifying it. The website says that it is an emollient to soften the skin, but it makes me more greasy especially for someone with oily skin like me. I had to rinse it again and follow up with my fave cleanser. love how my skin feels soft after my second cleanse tho. 😅
