How many masks are too many...?
I used to love masking! I’d do at least 1 to 2 a week. Now I’ve gotten lazy and just don’t do them and I have so many I need to start using before they expire! For me, I feel having an exfoliating mask and a hydrating mask is all you need. Unless your using the product consistently you’re not going to see changes. Masks are great for plumping up the skin, adding hydration and even a soft glow. But of all the masks I’ve used I’ve never found long term effects from them (except exfoliating). One way I like to use them is right before a big night (or day) out. To give my skin that added boost. Some that are great for doing so are: FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask (use as a 10 min mask) SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Ginger & Turmeric Vitamin C Jelly Mask And many others that help brighten and hydrate! I will also not go without my exfoliating masks which I do once a week. Some faves are: PAULA'S CHOICE - 25% AHA + 2% BHA Exfoliant Peel YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution HERBIVORE - Prism 20% AHA + 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Facial And a few others I have that I liked to use; BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Detox Mask ELEMIS - Superfood Vital Veggie Mask bliss - Mighty Marshmallow Mask Unfortunately as I said, I just don’t mask as often as I used to. And I feel it isn’t necessary. If you like to then I suggest you get yourself an exfoliating and moisturizing/hydrating mask and you should be good to go. Treatments are where you want to really zone in and specialize your finances for. Is it Friday yet? Ugh! I’ve been down all week with a neck I cannot turn - ouchie! And a migraine on top of that! I’m ready to knock my dogs out cause they are wanting out every half hour (it’s nice here ⛅️) Much ❤️ my skinnies 🍒

Brand Breakdown: Glow Recipe
Hey y’all! In today’s Brand Breakdown, we’re talking about Glow Recipe. Glow recipe was founded in 2014 bu Christine Chang, and Sarah Lee, two Korean Americans. Today I’ll be breaking down the ingredients of 4 of their most popular products. Let’s start with the GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask with is $42 for .5 fl oz. This face mask features retinol as the title suggests, and it also has avocado oil and extract, as well as coffeeberry. Avocado oil and extract have Vitamin E and C, and are also nourishing. Coffeeberry, which is the seed of a coffee plant, has a lot of antioxidants. It also has glycerin and squalane which are hydrating, as well as Nicinamide, Hylaronic acid, and aloe vera gel. I will mention that this product has a lot of potentially irritating extracts as well as fragrance. Next is one of their most popular products, the GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask which is $45 for 2.7 fl oz. This mask has has 2 main ingredients. Watermelon extract, and Hylaronic acid. By this point y’all know all about Hylaronic acid (and if you don’t, check out my Skincare Acid Cheat Sheet), so let’s talk about watermelon extract. If you read my Brand Breakdown on Clean & Clear, you’ll know that watermelon extract is an amazing ingredient, and watermelon juice isn’t. Luckily, in this product it’s watermelon extract, which is very soothing and hydrating. This product also has glycerin and Glycolic acid in it. It does however have a lot of fragrance, irritating extracts, and alcohol. Next up is the #GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm Makeup Remover[products]#[ThreeStars] with is $32 for 3.4 fl oz. Supposedly the main draws of this product are papaya enzymes, papaya seed oil, and blueberry extract. Now blueberry extract and papaya seed oil are not very researched ingredients that have only minimal effects on the skin. Papaya enzymes are mildly exfoliating, but don’t do much else. The cleansing balm is pretty basic other than this. And finally is the #GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple Vitamin C Serum[products]#[TwoStars] which is $49 for 1 fl oz. The marketing for this product is around its pineapple juice and Vitamin C. This product is super lacking for the price. The same way watermelon juice is less good for your skin than watermelon extract (because it’s diluted), pineapple juice is less effective than pineapple extract. Other than that, this product has Vitamin C which is great but very mainstream. This product also has fragrance. Those are all the products I have for today. I would say they got gradually worse as we went on, which I didn’t even do on purpose. This brand is quite expensive for it’s actual formulations, and I think there are better brands that are cheaper. If you can splurge, splurge on Youth to the People instead. Please cheer for this post, follow me for similar content, and comment below your favorite Youth to the People product. -Mae

Skin Update ✨✨
Okay this is a totally non filtered sun photo of my skin. Still working on minor texture this is due to my new skin routine (I posted about my morning and will post my night). I try and show my skin with new routines and products I use because I get so many ! The number one thing I will say is be consistent! I saw a post from @MelaninSkinCareAddict(great post you should go check it out) and I loved it and it inspired me to show results from some advice she saw. My last skin update was 12/22 which I showed a unfiltered close up of my skin and the breakout I had endure out of the states! I will say for texture, hyperpigmentation, and acne you need: effective vitamin C serum- should have vitamin E (tocopherol), hyaluronic acid, and Ferulic acid insta natural - Vitamin C Serum Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum retinol- DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel is my first go to, but now I use The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask (I use this on nights I don’t use The Ordinary retinol oil .. 2xs a week) cleanser made for you skin: should be tailored and effective my current faves: Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser (2x week) COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser (only when I oil cleanse) (3xs a weeks when I wear my night mask) PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser (mostly for nights) toner: a great toner will be your friend! This is important for removing dirts and oils. If you wear makeup this is a necessity. PAULA'S CHOICE - Enriched Calming Toner Murad - Clarifying Toner innisfree - Jeju Lava Seawater Lotion sunscreen: at least spf30 TULA SKINCARE - Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ELEMIS - Daily Defence Shield SPF30 moisturizer: a great moisturizer is your friend! So my faves fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer at night SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream during the day for hyperpigmentation before sunscreen ✨✨✨✨ Other things I love that have helped COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence I use this day and night after my toner. If you neee hydration this is my current go to! SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Acne Treatment Face Oil I now use this on days I don’t use my vitamin C in the morning. PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum This has replaced my niacinamide from The Ordinary. If you want glass skin use this consistently! CLARISMA - Namaste Glow Energizing Face Mask I use this as my daily face mask once a week. I will be posting my detailed night routine soon as I’m redoing my entire on IG 🥰🥰

Sadly Disappointed :(
I bought the GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer with high hopes after seeing it everywhere with glowing reviews, but I am sad to say that this moisturizer is a no from me. The two stars that moisturizer has are due to the fact that it is a delight to apply. I almost want to keep using it solely due to the smell, which is sweet and watermelony and do lovely. It also held true to be very lightweight and soaked into my skin quickly, without leaving a residue. However, that is everything good I have to say about the product. After about a week of using this, I noticed that my skin was so much more bumpy than normal, and I was getting blackheads where I usually never get blackheads, like on my cheeks (I normally just get them on my forehead and nose). I found these problems really interesting, especially since everyone seems to love this product and I haven't heard anyone else have these problems like I have had. My guess is that my skin, which is on the oilier side, can get very dehydrated very easily. Even with using other moisturizing products, I don't think the GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer gives me the amount of moisture I need to make my skin happy. This probably caused my skin to produce more oils that caused the blackheads. As for the texture, although I don't consider my skin to be especially sensitive, it could be the amazing smelling fragrance that irritated it. My recommendation is that if you are using a lot of moisturizing products in your routine and your skin can withstand some heavy frangrance, this moisturizer would make a pretty good serum for you, as I can't imagine it being a proficient stand-alone moisturizer (but in that case, I beleive there are better moisturizing serums for a smaller price). However, if your skin is easily dehydrated and requires more moisturizer, or if your skin gets irritated by frangrance, it's a sad no to this super cute product. Luckily, there is no shortage of moisturizers out there that you can use instead!

Dare to Go Bare with Glow Screen 💖
Hey Cherie Fam 🍒 Elta MD’s tinted sunscreen was my holy grail for years. What’s not to love? It’s tinted, contains Hyaluronic acid, it protects from UV light/sunlight and it’s fairly cheap ($28). elta md SKINCARE - UV Daily Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 I received Supergoop’s Glow Screen for Christmas and I’ve been using it obsessively since. I always skipped Supergoop because of the cost and Elta MD works for me. However, not only this sunscreen provides sun protection, it also provides light coverage that makes me glow. This makes me more confident on my no make up days and makes me feel like a highlighter princess! I love how this doesn’t accentuate my large pores or make my face feel super oily. This is also great as a primer and wear under makeup and provides major hydration. I love how this sunsceeen is also coral reef safe! Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40 This product is a bit more pricy ($36) but it’s worth it because I use this as a sunscreen and as a primer. I don’t need to spend more $$$ when I run out of my primer. What is your current skin care holy grail? Xoxo, Francesca 💋

One Year Progress
Exactly one year apart! I started my skincare journey 9 months ago. I primarily use Glow Recipe, but am slowly venturing out and replacing my lesser favorites of their products. These are some of my tips and holy grails! GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream holy crap this stuff really helped my redness, that was my biggest skin concern 2-3 times a week I do a chemical and physical exfoliant, I got this one in a boxy charm box and fell in love. I would recommend doing this in the shower and leaving it on your face for a couple minutes to really absorb the acids. Also I would recommend skipping the serums and night masks after this. Just use toner, eye cream, and moisturizer. Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser I mix a vitamin C serum in with my AHA every other morning. I’m undwerwhelmed with GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple-C Bright Serum I don’t hate it, but I think I can find better once I run out. However I love their GLOW RECIPE - Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum it is gentle enough (for my skin) to use every morning and night, and one pump is all you need! double cleansing is a must! I’ll just use the tiniest bit of GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm even when I’m not wearing makeup because it has a lot of good ingredients for your skin. However if your skin is feeling dry, I’d skip it and just use a water based cleanser. I am also underwhelmed with GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser I’m going to use it for before and after my workouts, but not worth the price point. Plus it is irritating if it gets in your eyes. I just ordered FARMACY - Whipped Greens: Oil-Free Foaming Cleanser With Moringa and Papayafor my morning and night cleanser and I am beyond excited to try it. a nice spray is a must! I use it after I cleanse and after I shower. J.R. WATKINS - Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Spray this stuff is soo good!! My face is so soft after I have to force myself not to touch it. I loved GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist but I got to say I like the Heritage one and it is wayy cheaper. don’t be afraid of supplements! I just got some vitamin E supplements and I’ve been taking magnesium and collagen everyday too. lastly look into anti-aging pillows and silk/satin pillowcases. This is especially important for side sleepers. If you sleep on your side, you are smushing your face against it. When you are young, your skin is elastic enough to bounce back, but you’re hurting your skin over time. YourFacePillow - Anti Wrinkle Back & Side Sleeping Pillow

Best Moisturizers
I have tried many moisturizers but here are the ones I think are best for each skin type! ❤️Best for Oily Skin❤️ CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This moisturizer is suitable for most skin types but it is great for oily skin types because it contains niacinamide which can aid in controlling the overproduction of oil. It is very moisturizing but it doesn’t make your skin look greasy. I absolutely love this moisturizer and strongly recommend it. 🧡Best for Dry Skin🧡 FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask This is technically a moisturizing mask but when my skin is feeling dry I use it as a moisturizer. Is is so soothing and has an interesting texture and smell. The product comes out of the tube blue and with an almost whipped texture. When you put it on your face it sinks in slowly if you apply it as a leave on mask, but if you rub it in it sinks in pretty quickly. I personally love the light natural scent it has (it is almost medicinal) but I realize it may be off putting to others. 💛Best for Combination Skin💛 GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream This moisturizer has niacinamide (can aid in controlling the overproduction of oil), is hydrating, and gives your skin a nice glow. At first I wasn’t a huge fan but with continued use I grew to love it! It has a light banana scent but Glow Recipe product contain extremely little fragrance. I think this would be great for combination skin as long as you don’t mind the glow. 💚Best for Sensitive Skin💚 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Skin Rescue Daily Face Cream This may be my favorite moisturizer! It is hydrating but feels very light on the skin. It sinks in quickly and has a smaller ingredient list so there isn’t a very big risk of irritation. It is very simple but in a great way! 💙Best for Normal Skin💙 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream If you have normal skin you can use any of the moisturizers I’ve recommended, but this one is really nice, effective, and has a great formula. It is great for dry or sensitive skin as well. It makes my skin feel very hydrated and has never caused issues with my acne prone skin. 💜Honorable Mentions💜 cocokind - Matcha Face Moisturizer This moisturizer is interesting. I feel like that is the best way to put it. It is very thick but it is also mattifying. Because of this, I think it would be suitable for all skin types (including oily) if you prefer thick moisturizers. The one problem I may have with it, though, is that it may have made my milia slightly worse. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I think this is a great moisturizer but I personally prefer other ones. If you are looking for a simple moisturizer that it inexpensive and delivers great hydration, this might be a great option. Leave a comment if you have tried these or have any recommendations!

I’d rather get coal than...
GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist was a product I initially purchased because of the hype....and never ended up using. 😒 I am a huge fan of hydrating mists but this just didn’t do it for me. Living in a desert I absolutely always keep a mist on hand and this bottle has one of the best spritzing mechanisms that delivers such a perfect mist that I wish I had loved it. (Note: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha is the best if you’re looking for one!) Downfalls: Added fragrance- Glow Recipe is known for its popular watermelon scent. Contains small amount of apple cider vinegar which can be sensitizing. Clear bottle causes products to degrade - This was something I learned AFTER purchasing and was disappointing to hear. It’s meant to be stored in a cool dark cabinet or drawer. If you’re looking for just a fun hydrating mist and love watermelon, this is for you. For me, I felt I paid for scented water 🤭 opps, I said it! I’ve tried a few of Glow Recipes other products and some have been hits, others misses. I LOVED their GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask but they discontinued it 😩. I’ve also heard great things about their GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer and hope to give it a try in the future. I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas and don’t get coal! 🎄🤶 ❤️🍒 DISCLAIMER- I realize I have become a lot more HONEST with my reviews. It’s not that I wasn’t before I think it’s that I’ve learned a lot by taking a break from posting as often and spending more time doing research and learning about others needs, not just my own skincare concerns. So instead of just sharing that a product was say 5⭐️ for me, I’m trying to evaluate it more from a wider perspective. Example: the watermelon scent in this spray is not sensitizing to me but can be to others so I deducted a star for that.

Best Toners
It can be hard to find a toner that fits your skincare needs, so let me help you! I have recommendations for all skin types, but I personally believe that even if you have very oily skin your toner shouldn’t be stripping so all of these have hydrating properties. I have tried all of these toners and these are my favorites! GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner 🌼Oily and Combination Skin🌼 Because this toner has exfoliating acids in it, it is very beneficial for those with oily or combination skin. It can help those who struggle with acne and blackheads as well (no matter your skin type). It gently exfoliates the skin while still providing hydration. I love the thick texture and the scent the watermelon extract gives it. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner 🌸Dry, Combination, Normal, and Sensitive Skin🌸 This toner is AMAZING if you are looking for hydration. It has so many amazing ingredients including colloidal oatmeal which is actually considered an skin protectant by the FDA due to its effective soothing properties. Because of this it can be listed as an active ingredient. This toner has a watery but slightly thick consistency I really like. peach slices - Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner 🌼All Skin Types (Especially Dry)🌼 Out of all of these toners this is the one I think would work for pretty much everyone and is my personal favorite! It has acne fighting properties, it is SUPER hydrating (due to snail mucin being the first ingredient and addition of hyaluronic acid), there is no fragrance, and it sinks quickly into the skin. cocokind - Rosewater Facial Toner 🌸All Skin Types (Especially Combination)🌸 Rosewater toners are great for the skin. It is soothing, calms redness, and helps balance PH. This one in particular is my favorite. It uses one ingredient (rosewater) unlike other popular rosewater toners. If you have any tried any of these products or have any recommendations please let me know in the comments!

🍉Downsize those pores🍉Gentle PHA + BHA Toner
GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner Glow recipe gets a lot of hype! I mean a LOT! And yes I admit it I’ve jumped on the bandwagon 🙋‍♀️. But only after trying products and enjoying them and having good experiences. Yes their packaging is SO cute but what really matters is the ingredients, cause b***h they don’t lie! Ingredients: Opuntia Ficus-Indica (Cactus) Extract, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Gluconolactone, Sodium Polyglutamate, Betaine Salicylate, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Lactobacillus/Watermelon Fruit Ferment Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Brassica Oleracea Capitata (Cabbage) Leaf Extract, Ipomoea Batatas Root Extract, Sorbitan Oleate, Levulinic Acid, Sodium Levulinate, Fragrance/Parfum ⭐️Key Ingredients⭐️ 🌵Cactus Water: being the first and most prevalent ingredient in the formula, this makes this toner not dry the s*** outta my face! Contains electrolytes and amino acids to help skin retain moisture. It also gives it that satisfying goopy gloppy texture. 🍉Watermelon Extract: Amino rich - hydrates, soothes, + improves appearance of fine lines + wrinkles 👩‍🔬Gluconolactone - a PHA - helps to resurface and smooth skin, while also removing buildup of dead skin cells. A very gentle gradual exfoliant that is great for sensitive skin types. 👩‍🔬BHAs - The formula includes 2 types of BHA: Willow Bark, a gentle, natural source of BHA, as well as sugarcane, birch, + royal azalea tree-derived Betaine Salicylate. One of the most effective ingredients for decongestant pores and reducing appearance of pores + blackheads. 💦Hyaluronic Acid - this helps deliver + lock in hydration so the formula is not drying or stripping to the skin This does contain less than 0.5% fragrance** 🍉My Experience🍉 I honestly love this product. I have been using the 40ml bottle (smaller one) since the begging of august and still have about 40% remaining. I use this am + pm because it’s gentle enough to do that for my skin (unless you’re using another strong exfoliating treatment or strong retinol). I have seen improvements in the texture of my skin + it has decongested my face a lot. Being someone that hasn’t taken care of their skin for, well, like 26 years out of my 27 year old life, there’s a lot of texture + gunk built up + work to be done. This is not a product that will fix your skin in a week, but I am confident that it is something I will keep in my skin care arsenal as it is good for my skin, it is a great preventative treatment to reduce the chances of pore buildup in the future. I am a strong believer in SLOW, consistent results over immediate results that can have negative consequences sometimes.

Cherie Made Me Buy It! 🍒 🍉 🥑 💖✨
Hi Cherie Fam 🍒 I came across @Mallory‘s post regarding the avocado sleeping eye mask 🥑 and the niacinamide watermelon drops 🍉. I was intrigued so I did some research and ended up ordering the make your own kit. It comes with 4 sample size items and a bag for $29. I thought I would try to sample the product first and see how it works on my skin before committing to a full size products. I got the •GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser I heard this cleanser is great for removing make up. I read the ingredient list and I am sold. I can never say no to a gentle cleanser • GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer I am looking for a new day time moisturizer and this seems perfect. This smells so good. It has a thin consistency and feels cool on the skin •GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask I HAD to get this. Dark circles and hollow under eyes are a problem. It’s generic and I love how this contains retinol Glow recipe also included lots of sample items. I didn’t pick up the niacinamide drops because I still have lots from Paula’s choice. However, I am excited to try it and glad I got a sample I will post a review in a month or so and let you all know how it worked out. Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Is Glow Recipe...the Right Recipe?
Now this brand can be considered luxury with relatively high price points. Much like other luxury brands, a lot of the formulations have high amounts of fragrance which can be very irritating. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner -Great source of proven hydrators and leaves a healthy glow -Antioxidant rich formula that is alcohol free. -Helps smooth texture. -Fragranced and the ph is outside of the ideal PHA and BHA needed to effectively exfoliate. GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser -Contains a good amount of antioxidants. -Effectively removes dirt and oil then rinses cleanly without leaving the feeling of tight skin. -Stings eyes when used to remove eye makeup. -Contains fragrance which is potentially irritating and product cannot fight acne as claimed. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask -Lotion-gel texture that absorbs quickly and includes skin soothing ingredients. -Includes sodium hyaluronate and antioxidant rich plants. -Fragranced and packaged in a jar which can compromise the ingredients. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask -Spreads easily and absorbs quickly which leaves skin hydrated. -Includes four forms of avocado which contains fatty acids and antioxidants. -Contains fragrance and is packaged in a jar which can put the ingredients at risk. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer -Lightweight, gel-like texture which is perfect for combination to oily skin. -Contains fragrance. -It also contains two kinds of antioxidant rich watermelon extracts. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask -Mask has very moisturizing and soothing ingredients. -It’s easy to use and isn’t overly saturated -Contains fragrance which can be irritating GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist -Fog-like mist settles lightly while refreshing both skin and makeup. -Includes hyaluronic acid and soothing extracts. -Contains fragrance. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Lip Pop -Adds a sheer pink color that can be built up for more pop. -The balm doesn’t offer long lasting hydration compared to the best formulas of today. -Contains potentially irritating fragrance which can worsen dry lips. -Doesn’t exfoliate as well as claimed GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm -Lightweight cream that contains extracts rich with antioxidants. -Effectively removes makeup, dirt, oil, and spf. -Fragranced which can be irritating. Conclusion: This brand has too many products that have fragrance which can be very irritating to the skin. There are products with other issues such as packaging that can put the ingredients at risk and cause hygiene issues. Although I wouldn’t recommend this brand, the oil free moisturizer is actually pretty good.

“No Makeup” Look for Video Calls✨ #CheriePartner
Looking like I’ve put in effort before a video call is good, but sometimes I just want to look a little more “effortless” for my more casual calls. This is my go-to “no-makeup” makeup look for video calls when I want to look put together but not overdone! ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer I always always use a bit of concealer for my undereyes as they’re super dark (thanks mom!). This creamy concealer gives plenty of coverage and leaves a radiant skin-like finish. I apply a dot under each of my eyes and on any discoloration or acne scars on my face, and then blend it in either with my fingers or a fluffy brush. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Gel Defining the brows helps to frame the face! I love these Brow Boss products from Colourpop because they’re inexpensive but perform just as well as any high-end brow products! The pencil is waxy but still creamy enough to show up in the brows. The gel is more of a whipped pomade texture and helps to lift and hold up the brows for a fluffy look! COLOURPOP - Super Shock Blush Adding a little bit of a blush to the cheeks AND to the outer crease of the eyelids will create a youthful look. I love this blush from Colourpop! It adds a natural radiance and color to the cheeks. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Lip Pop A glossy, tinted lip balm can also help to make you look more youthful and awake! This lip balm from Glow Recipe has AHA ingredients to exfoliate the lips and keep them soft. I also love the soft pink color that this gives the lips! What is your go-to look for video calls?

Who lives in a 🍍 under the sea
I must say I have become obsessed with vitamin C serums lately. This Vitamin C serum from @glowrecipe includes not only Vitamin C but also pineapple juice to help hydrate the skin and chamomile to help soothe the skin. ⠀ My favorite things about this specific serum is that not only does it smell amazing, but the smoothing effect my skin gets from this is nothing like my other vitamin C serums. The “thickness” of this serum makes it not only feel amazing and smoothing on my skin but also easier to apply. I don’t have to catch it slipping through my fingers. ⠀ I love applying this to my skin after I cleanse. It helps make my quarantine mornings a little brighter!GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple-C Brightening Serum

First of all, I am obsessed with anything that is watermelon. So I was hyped when I saw this at Sephora and so right then I got my hands on it. Packaging is simple, yet cute. The product glides on the skin very nicely . When I wake up, my skin feels smooth. You should follow your skincare routine, and then apply this as a mask.
