Best At Home Skincare Device
As part of my #selfcare routine, I’ve added a few skincare tools to my collection. For today’s #minimonday, here’s my new NuFACE - Mini Mini Facial Toning Device , mini review. Since I’m in my early 30’s, I like to do extra when it comes to anti-aging. I think that supplementing your skincare products with powerful skincare tools significantly increases their efficacy. This NuFACE mini is a petite, microcurrent facial toning device that helps improve facial contour, tone, and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This is a travel friendly device that allows for a 5-Minute-Facial-Lift anytime, anywhere. I finally bought it because it was on 20% off a few weeks ago. I’ve been using it for more than a week now, in the morning after cleansing. It comes with a conducting gel that you apply before gliding the device on your neck, face and forehead. Microcurrent facials don’t hurt - I actually don’t feel anything during the 5-10 minute treatment. After using it 5 times a week for a week now, I can see a tiny bit of difference - my eyes are less puffy; my brows are lifted; and my jawline is more defined. My husband said that my skin looks firmer and brighter, so he started doing it too. Because of these mini results, I am very encouraged to keep up although sometimes I can be lazy. But note, that this device requires consistency in order to see long term benefits. What skincare tools do you use or what to buy in the future? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Come on my micro current journey!
Come on my nuface journey with me! During the Black Friday sale, I purchased the nuface mini. This tool is provides an at home microcurrent treatment to help with facial contouring, toning, and firming of aging skin. I’ve been using it pretty consistently for 3 weeks now and already notice a difference! But now I want to track to ensure this is actually working! So here is my face in the morning after I applied my skincare. I’ll post an update after using it for 30 days. I have my hair down so there is no tugging. I hope to have positive results that I can see through my pictures! NuFACE - Mini Mini Facial Toning Device

Transitioning Your Skincare Between Seasons 🍂
Now that we're heading into fall here in the northern hemisphere it's time to update our skincare routines! As the weather cools down and gets a bit drier so does our skin. This doesn't mean that my combination/oily skin is going to change skin types and become dry, instead the environment is going to change the condition of my skin. So how do I adjust my skincare routine? Here are a few ways: Swap out my lighter, gel based moisturizer for a heavier cream. I LOVE the LORD JONES - Acid Mantle Repair CBD Moisturizer because it is heavier and has ceramides, but doesn't clog my pores or feel heavy. I still have acne-prone skin so I don't want to suffocate it. I use this in place of a gel-based moisturizer. I add a hydrating serum to both my AM and PM routines. I'm currently using the iS CLINICAL - Hydra-Cool Serum it's cooling and hydrating, plays well with other products and sinks into the skin quickly. In the cooler months I will only use a hydrating serum during my day routine, this isn't enough for me when it starts to cool off so I add an additional hydration step to my night routine! Exfoliating becomes essential! During the cooler months I opt for a gentler exfoliant that I can use daily, instead of using stronger exfoliants every few days like I do in the summer months. The BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - LOTION P50 PIGM 400 exfoliates and targets hyperpigmentation, it's gentle and effective! By using a gentle exfoliant I'm getting off the dead skin cells without compromising my skin barrier which may already be struggling with the colder weather. Some things that don't change in my routine are: Vit C! I use a vitamin C serum all year long. The BeautyStat COSMETICS - Universal C Skin Refiner is the most effective that I've tried and the formulation is beautiful. You MUST wear SPF! Even on cloudy, rainy days you need to wear SPF, especially if you're exfoliating regularly! The elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 is lightweight and safe for sensitive skin. Do you transition your skincare routine as the seasons change? Let me know in the comments! #CheriePartner

Night Owl? Save Your Under Eyes!
I'm a night owl and have been forever! Most of the time this means I wake up looking like I haven't slept in years because my under eyes are puffy. I have a ritual for those days! Here's what I do: 1. I wash my face, being sure to use cool water! 2. Apply my NuFace Line Smoothing Serum 3. Apply my Good Molecules Eye Patches 4. Let the depuffing magic happen! The NuFace serum has an immediate effect on my under eyes, smoothing and tightening them. It's a lightweight serum texture and immediately sinks into the skin. I love that the tip is cooling metal so it also helps to depuff! The Good Molecules Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches are the star of the show! The caffeine reduces puffiness and swelling. They also contain niacinamide, aloe and hyaluronic acid to help brighten and smooth! This system works to depuff my under eyes in 10 minutes so I use that time to do my hair or get dressed, then I look like I got my full 8 hours! A facial, a mask, and a bath feels like heaven
NuFACE - Trinity Facial Toning Device NuFACE - FIX Line Smoothing Device So grateful to @mynuface for sending this amazing spa-at-home care package to me. I’ve never been diligent with facial gadgets but I’m seeing such great results that I just can’t stop. Nuface Trinity is an advanced microcurrent facial toning device that helps to 'work out' the muscles of the face to stimulate collagen and tighten skin appearance with as little as 5 mins per day. I’d say it’s totally worth the investment even tho the price point ain’t cheap. But considering the $405 (CAD)can probably only get less than 5 facial treatments at the spas, it’s great to have a facial in the comfort of your own home. A facial isn’t complete without the proper eye treatment, the FIX is perfect for contouring the delicate eye area to help with puffiness around my eyes. My skin feels super charged the next morning with my jawline more prominent and my skin feels toned and refreshed. The FIX is ergonomically designed with two small probes that you move around the eye area in circular motions, generally around the orbital bone and muscles surrounding it. The FIX retails for $199 (CAD) so it’s a good one to start off and try the microcurrent technology to see if you like how it works. I’ve been using the these 2 devices very diligently for the past month and I do see my face seem to have slimmed down and my eyes are less fatigued with the fine lines less obvious. It’s so easy to use so even those 10 mins each day (5 mins in the trinity and 5 mins on the Fix ) is totally feasible for a busy mom like me. I find it very comforting and relaxing so I do recommend these 2 amazing devices! Best thing yet, Im watching Netflix while having this luxe facial!Share your fav facial devices below.

*PR seedings* what I’m trying right now!
Plus a beautiful photo of my vanity😍😍 Hey guys! I wanted to share some of the latest PR seedings I’ve received! I have started trying these out already and want to give everything a fair chance before I review it :) so for this post, I’ll leave a few first impressions and also open up my comments for everyone to 👉🏽chime in on what they want to know about each product (I’ll make sure to include it in my in-depth reviews!) 👈🏽 espressoh. - Glassy - Blush by the Glass I love products that match to your skins pH levels! It’s more popular in lip products and this is one of the first times I’ve seen it in a cheek product. The only other skin-matching blush I’ve seen is Dior’s cheek glow which I actually tried and did not like as it’s a powder. This on the other hand is amazing! very glossy texture- felt a bit odd at first to put it on my cheeks but the payoff is beautiful! Gives you a rosey glow and a bit of a dewy look! it’s a very pink pink on me and I love it! Moon Juice - Plump Jelly I started incorporating this serum into my morning routine to keep me hydrated throughout the day, and so far I’m loving it! I mostly love the smell of this serum (it’s a kind of musky scent? Like men’s perfume but not as strong) and the texture glides on really nicely. Moon Juice - Acid Potion Resurfacing Exfoliator Still have not tried! NuFACE - Trinity + Eye and Lip Enhancer Attachment Bundle So apparently after 30 (or maybe it’s 60) days of using the nuface for 5 mins each day, you’re supposed to see a visible difference in lift and lines. I don’t have lines but I’d love to see more lift! I use this every morning after washing and before my serum. The micro currents are not strong but you def feel a sensation when using this. Oddly enough, when I use this along my jawline or near my mouth, I get this metal taste.... idk. But I’m gonna give it a full shot to see if it actually helps! NuFACE - Fix Essentials Gift Set This baby micro current device is meant for the eyes, lips, and other small areas of the face you’d like to smooth lines. I just use it under my eyes at night to help with puffiness. So far, so good! Alright, what do you guys want to know?? I’ll try everything for at least 2 weeks (except nuface that may be much longer) and report back!

Does the Nuface and micro current really work?
Well, I think it does! The picture on the left I took about a month ago and the picture on the right is a recent snap. I have been consistently using the NuFACE - Trinity Mini Shimmer All Night Set for about 30 days. It’s not very noticeable but I do think that the micro current tool has given my face a mild contour. When I use the nuface in the morning, it gives me an instant face lift and it also de-puffs me. Now looking at the pictures side by side, I do notice a bit of a lift and contour. Although mild, it does encourage me to continue to use it. I am not going to lie, it feels great running across my face! Are you intrigued?

⚡️ Ziip vs. NuFace ⚡️
Microcurrent is something I really started doing research into towards the end of 2019. I was just a few months shy of 25 and have always heard that starting anti-aging routines early would make all the difference. Microcurrent devices are an anti-aging tool, essentially these devices send currents into the skin that stimulate collagen and elastin effectively building and repairing skin over time. In short, it's a workout for your face! The two main players in microcurrent are the NuFace and ZIIP. The NuFace is significantly cheaper than the ZIIP, but is it a dupe? Let's break them down, because both are expensive! ZIIP uses both microcurrent and nanocurrent safe for all skin types, even sensitive connects to the ZIIP app, which gives you access to multiple different treatment routines to target what you want easy to follow along with tutorials for each treatment lifts and tones the face can target acne-causing bacteria can target pigmentation like melasma and PIH must be used with the ZIIP conductive gels, these are full of great ingredients! conductive gel prices range from $50 to $129, each one addresses different types of concerns like hydration, firmness and lines, or environmental protection. there are two ZIIP devices, the original version retails for $450 and the newer model retails for $480 NuFace uses only microcurrent contours facial features, smooths lines and tones the skin claims 5 minutes a day for 60 days will give you results must use a THICK conductive gel, other users have tried aloe vera gel no routine is required, there are some available on YouTube and Instagram by the brand and consumers the mini retails for $199, the larger model that is compatible with other attachments retails for $325 So what’s the verdict? Well it depends on what your skin needs are. For me, the ZIIP is my favorite because of all the different treatments and tutorials on the app! It’s so easy to follow along with and I can personalize my routine as I need to. I also really prefer the conductive gels as they feel like luxurious skincare masks, unlike the NuFace gels which smell like alcohol and dry out in a few minutes. The NuFace Trinity, which is the larger model, has different attachments like LED lights and smaller probes, which someone with fine lines and wrinkles would really benefit from! Other users have used aloe vera gel instead of the NuFace conductive gels, but I haven’t tried this yet. The ZIIP doesn’t hurt, unless you are doing the acne treatment and are going over active spots. The NuFace device does sting on the highest setting, even with a thick layer of conductive gel! I still use both and enjoy both, but if I had to choose one then it would be the ZIIP. #CherieCreator NuFACE - Mini Mini Facial Toning Device ZIIP - ZIIP GX

Livin My Life Like it’s Golden!
NuFACE - Gel Primer 24k Gold Complex Firm Nice Product I hate to waste any product! With the original gel, had to wipe off my fingers and it felt wasteful to me. The built-in brush eliminates that issue. When I’m finished brushing my face, I brush the remaining gel onto the two probes. This gel has a ton of very good skincare ingredients that feels good and doesn’t clog my pores. This is a major plus because you are applying it multiple times. PROS: ✨Light weight ✨Paraben-free ✨Oil free. ✨Fragrance-free ✨Leave on formula ✨Won’t clog pores ✨Built-in brush. ✨Results seen 1st use CONS: ⚡️Pricey, $39 all day long ⚡️dries fast...it’s a leave on ⚡️Gold tube paint rubs off onto hands like glitter ⚡️Doesn’t stay in the unlock position I would really like to see a pump size for this. The tube has a lot of complaints about the quantity. 🧐 discipline is required when using the NuFace Mini device every day or every other day. I do believe it is worth the time. I love this primer and even sleep in it!

Body Wash? 🤷🏽
PETER THOMAS ROTH - 24K Gold Mask Too Luxurious? This 24K gold mask is so thick and creamy that when removing it I thought it turned into body wash! The directions say to apply an generous amount but I didn’t think I put that much on! I don’t even know if this mask did anything. Next time, I’ll take it off in The shower! Stay tuned! 😏 NuFACE - Gel Primer 24k Gold Complex Firm Since I was a little thrown off by the creaminess 😯 I didn’t notice anything, so I felt the need to follow up with my NuFACE Mini & it’s very own 24K gold primer. I’ll have to see with time if this mask is worthwhile. Any thoughts?

Nuface mini device and primer
NuFACE - Mini Mini Facial Toning Device Starting off with the Nuface Toning Device there’s this Mini size and a bigger size. The balls are the same size so I picked up the mini version, which was 200$ with the primer. I’ve only used it for about 6 weeks and I try to use it every morning, but realistically use it at least 6 times a week. It definitely gives me an instant lifted look and I love the experience of using it. It does take some more time than your usual routine though, but you can easily do it in the evening if you prefer. I looked at some older pictures and my face looks more defined, especially my jaw line and cheekbones as well as laugh lines around the mouth. I can’t wait to keep using and I’m sure I’ll see even better results over time. Also want to pick up the eye version, but these are all kind of pricey! NuFACE - Hydrating Leave-On Gel Primer Unfortunately I don’t think this works as a leave on primer. It works fine with the device, it’s clear and a thick gel and I find that you need kind of a lot of it. I don’t think the ingredients are special at all and a bottle is just not worth 50$. Plus it pills badly throughout the day, even without makeup. I guess if you use it and wash it off after it works, but what’s the point of that. I prefer to just use a hyaluronic acid or cosrx snail mucin which comes in a huge bottle and lasts forever. It works fine and you don’t feel any micro currents plus they are much more affordable!

My Favorite Micro-current Skincare Device🧖🏻‍♀️
I had a lot of skincare devices at home. Some of them are for cleaning, hydrating and others like anti-aging or acne treatment. NuFACE - FIX Shimmer All Night Set This one I got here is a skin smoothing and tightening Microcurrent Skincare device targeting appearance of fine lines or loss of Firmness and elasticity especially around eye area as well as lips and forehead. It comes in a set with a serum that helps with the treatment. This device is using microcurrent energy to help tightening, smoothing and firming the look of skin dullness and uneven texture for a fast and safe at-home treatment. How to use it? On your clean and dry face, put some of the clear serum that comes with it as a light layer around any specific area with fine lines that you want to work on. I am using mostly on my under eye area. Turn the device on working in circular motions.I like the feeling that it gives a nice and engergizing hum. Feels like the skin is really pumping. Following the direction, it is recommended to spend 3 minutes per treatment area. After 3 minutes, this device would automatically shut off. You can use bare fingers to tap in any leftover serum and finish with a normal skincare regimen. Try to be cautious when working around the eyes, and avoid tear ducts and eyelids. I like using these devices at home. Because first of all, it’s fast and saves your time in visiting a skincare spa for a facial; Secondly, it is safer. Although some dermatologist are well trained, I still concerned since my mom had a burnt on her skin when she was doing laser and it left a scar on her. Every time i hear someone doing those laser treatment, I am scared. Also, it is cheaper to do this on your own, you kind of just pay for one time on this device. And you can use it as many times as you want. I had a lot of skincare devices, this one is so far my favorite. Not that the others are not as good as this one. I feel like this is the one that I used most often. It’s fast and easy and small enough to fit in your skincare bag. Highly recommended for girls who need treatment on early anti-aging and got a budget,

Here I’m sharing my favourite Nuface Trinity Facial Toning Device. I love a good face massage and this treasure really helps me relax, keeps my fine lines, texture and tone all in check. Love the noticeable difference on my forehead after few months of consistency. I’m totally hooked and soon going to get the mini version so that i don’t miss my treatments while I’m travelling.

My mynuface experience ☺️

I b
My mynuface experience ☺️ I bought this device at end of summer, so had plenty of time to test it and I am ready to share my opinion on its necessity. ✅ WHO NEEDS. Girls over 30, who have signs of firmness loss, sagging skin, ptosis. ✅ WHAT GIVES. Microcurrents are impulses that are similar to the electrical impulses of our body. Due to this, they have a beneficial effect on cells and improve many processes at the cellular level, stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, improve blood microcirculation, and muscle tone. It claims to improve facial contour, skin tone, and wrinkle reduction across the jawline, cheek area and forehead. ✅ MY EXPERIENCE. I noticed some minor facial sagging, so I used it every day, then switched to 3 times a week (after few months). As for now (almost 6 months of using) my cheeks seemed more sculpted, skin looks more plumped and radiant and the area underneath my chin is looking more lifted, creases do not appear in the morning. The upper eyelid lifted, the under eye skin is tightened. My face look and feel firmer. The first months there was a metallic taste in the mouth, then passed. You should not be afraid of it. I use it over aloe gel (a soothing masking session as well), I do not like the primers (original and moisturizing), they are sticky and it is hard to wash them off. If the gel is absorbed, I just mist my skin. Tingling of the skin did not notice, except in the hair growth line. Overall it is a part of my routine and works for me (at least in my mind:-)

Nakeup Face Stress Zero Toner
Nakeup Face Stress Zero Toner – I am familiar with this Korean Beauty / Skincare brand as they have beautiful makeup, but I had not tried any of their skincare items previously. Safe ingredients help soothe and moisturize sensitive skin. Made with 90% Sea Water (more on this in a bit), Water Free Toner, pH 5.0 Low Acidity, Ethanol Free. Contains Centella asiatica extract and portulaca Oleracea extracts that calm your skin. I had to look up the benefits of sea water in skincare as this concept was new to me. Sea water is great at removing toxins and pump your skin full of minerals such as magnesium and potassium. It can also be good for cleaning pores, balancing oil & sebum and kill the bacteria that can lead to acne and rosacea (hmmm…never knew that was caused by bacteria). My thoughts on this product as a toner. Not bad. I do confess though I have only been using for a few days so it’s not enough to contribute any positive skin changes to it yet. I don’t hate it. Would I recommend – sure – if you are looking to try something new – go for it.
