makeup favorites! perfect for travel.
This weekend I will be traveling(safely) and these are the makeup products I will be taking, not including my makeup brushes. Whenever I travel, I make sure to take the products I know work well and I love. Here are the products: 100% pure - Mattifying Primer Sample Packet I have the full size of this, and it's hands down my favorite primer. I have oily skin and this is the only primer I've ever used that makes a difference in my makeup longevity and is mattyfying. I can also layer dewy products and it balances my skin well. Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer It's the concealer I've been using the most this year. shade 04. COVER FX - Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation I hit pan on this product and I'm trying to finish it up. it's a great product for oily skin. I'm taking this in case I want more coverage since I'm not bringing a foundation. laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder Setting powder. URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder Since I'm oily I need lots of powder. I'm bringing this as a touch up powder and for Mattifying. Kosas - Color & Light: Pressed Powder Blush & Highlighter Duo I have the shade Papaya 1972 and it's a beautiful peachy blush, and lasts a long time. Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Shade Grateful. Extremely pigmented blush! The easiest way to cover up acne scars & pimples
I have acne-prone skin and latelyyyyyy I’ve been getting some gnarly cystic pimples. Since I can’t quite breakdown what’s causing this resurge in cystic acne, I’ve been getting super stressed out and have been guilty of popping and prodding some of the big mamas that have been coming up to say hi. But as we all know, popping leads to scarring and scarring is so hard to hide under makeup, especially when they’re so big, scabbing over and purple. I haven’t exactly mastered covering up acne scars, but I have found that it comes down a strategic layering technique and a lot of powder. To start, I always prep the affected area with a hydrating primer but if the scar is really raised and textured I like to use Weleda Skin Food directly on it because I don’t want the scar to cause a dry patch. Then, I add a dab of concealer over it and blend it out and apply powder on top of it. Then, I’ll carry on with the rest of my complexion makeup and apply foundation and concealer and lock them both in with the powder. When layering, I’ve found that it’s important to watch how you use your brush. If you just sweep it over the scar, then you’ll quickly find that the product will move and it won’t build on top of it the way you want it. Instead, dab the brush and the product on and tap. Sometimes I’ll use my finger to blend my concealer and tap it in. I also try to avoid matte and drying formulas over the acne scars I’m trying to cover since I don’t want any peeling or dry spots but I’ve seen other people recommend it. These are my favorite products for covering acne scars: WELEDA - Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream – a little goes a long way. If you use a lot, it can make you look oily and it has made me breakout in the past. MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder – I like to use a small highlight brush instead of a big fluffy powder brush for this because I want more of a focused of powder application.

Debbie Thornberry Halloween Make-Up 🖤🧡
As promised from yesterday’s post (if you haven’t seen it go check it out I have a tutorial on how to do this hair) here is the make up inspiration for Debbie Thornberry. I grew up with The Wild Thornberrys amongst other great cartoons from the late 90s and early 2000s. Debbie was my favorite character on the show. When I got my TIGI - A Wave We Go Adjustable Deep Waver and used it for the first time she was immediately what popped into my head. Base: For the base I started off with the laura mercier - Pure Canvas Primer - Hydrating purely because my skin has been a little drier with the weather change. This is a must for dry skin. It has a lightweight cream formula that adds hydration without being too heavy. Plus it’s silicone free (which doesn’t bother me but I know it’s important to some people). Then I used my favorite ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in the shade 1N0. Afterwards I went in with my new laura mercier - Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer in the shade .5 N. I’m obsessed with this stuff! It has the coverage of Shape Tape without being so heavy. It’s very creamy and opaque. It’s been a huge winner for me lately. Then I set everything with the laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder and laura mercier - Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes Eyes: Debbie doesnt really wear much make up so I decided to keep it really simple. I used the KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Dagger Tattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner to draw a wing as her eye shape is very angular. I used the benefit - BADgal BANG! 24 Hour Eye Pencil in my waterline and the benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara to finish off the eyes. I kept the brows pretty simple too only using the benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel in shade 4.5 for some color. Blush/Bronzer: To me it doesn’t look like Debbie wears blush or bronzer but I wanted to update the look a little so I did. I used the third shade in the NYX - Highlight & Contour Pro Palette for my contour. It’s a really nice, cool toned contour that blends out perfectly on the skin. I also mixed the two blushes from the HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Face Palette and placed them on the apples of the cheeks to brighten up the face. Lips: For lips I chose the stila - Shine Fever Lip Vinyl in Turbo. With the time period of the show I didn’t imagine liquid lipsticks would be a huge thing so I decided to go with more of a gloss. This lip vinyl is a perfect opaque gloss with a mauve tone to it. It’s definitely not transfer proof and will slide around if you’re not careful (definitely not mask friendly).

2 Step Routine - Flawless skin!
Hi all!! I recently have been buying and testing out so much new makeup to find amazing makeup although there have been some hits and misses that I will be posting soon so keep an eye out for them! But I have found these 2 lovely products which work really well together! First step: Primer The first step is the laura mercier - Pure Canvas Primer - Hydrating which is an amazing silicone free primer that really creates a soothing, hydrating base to prep the foundation and all other makeup products which allows the makeup to look non-cakey and drying. The best part about this primer is that you can use it just on its own for a glowy base also! I got mine in a sample tube (25ml) and I will definitely be repurchasing the full size when I’m finished. I have been testing out new primers as I have a wedding coming up which there will be so many photos taken so I want to have a really nice makeup look. I have also tried the BOBBI BROWN - Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer which I thought was my holy grail but now I’m torn between these 2! Both primers create such a great base for the makeup which is why I’m so stuck! I’m yet to decide which one I will use but I will keep an update. Second step: Foundation This foundation I have wanted to try since I was in High School but I could never afford or get my hands on it! So I was super excited to try it! The NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation met my expectations 100%! It’s literally looks like facetune! It doesn’t emphasise any texture or dryness which is a big factor for me choosing and rating a foundation. It’s buildable coverage so if you like medium-full coverage makeup this is perfect for you and you can choose which coverage you are feeling or what your skin needs. Results? These 2 have perfectly made a place in my makeup routine! By using them together I have glass skin and looks flawless more than any other products I have used - definitely a staple in spring! The primer and foundation used together makes my foundation last all day and I don’t notice any creasing. I 100% recommended you try these for a glass skin base. Thanks for reading loves! ☺️🌻

Tinted Moisturizer That Works!
First off, I don't usually use tinted moisturizer because I personally think that if I'm going to put a type of colored liquid to hide imperfections, I'd prefer a liquid foundation. I was so wrong. This tinted moisturizer was probably one of the top competition with Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector. It basically was between the two. What sold me on bareminerals was that this product is a gel cream base. It literally felt nothing on my face but at least I got a natural dewy look. bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (Color in: Bamboo 5.5) laura mercier - Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF30[] I didn't rate the Laura Mercier one because I've only tried it once. the texture was a bit too heavy for what it was. The big difference is? - A huge whopping $20 dollar difference! (a reminder, in Canadian dollars). For basically the same thing. You're buying it for the brand if you prefer Laura Mercier. When I buy a tinted moisturizer I don't want to be spending that much money unless it's the Holy grail of ALL holy grails. Unfortunately, the Laura Mercier did not do it for me at all. If you enjoy a light tint to your skin, a healthy glow and a dewy look, this is a great product to achieve that. And guess what? The hydration boost I love!

Makeup You Can Wear While Peeling
I typically will not wear makeup while I’m going through post retinol peeling (SKINCEUTICALS - Retinol 1.0 ) but I had a pretty important call for work and really need to put in the face-to-face with my customer, so video call was a must. I needed to look good, but limit items and stick to hydrating products. laura mercier - Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF30 - this blends so easily and hasn’t cling to my dry skin that hasn’t peeled off yet. Good coverage without the heavy feel of makeup. MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer - in the color neutralizer. This always looks so natural without being over the top, great for canceling out dark circles. CHANEL - SOLEIL TAN DE Bronzing Makeup Base - my favorite! Used for bronzing and a little on the lids for color. FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush - in rosé latte. I really love a good cream blush and this color is unique, rose and mocha mixed. I dabbed a little of this on my cheeks as well as my lips.. I will say it blends a little too well - you’ll blend it right off. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz & ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade - I use a combo of these two products since I’m started to experience brown thinning. True a true and will never let me down. WANDER BEAUTY - Mile High Club Volume and Length Mascara - I love this mascara! I use it when I just need a little something. Doesn’t smear and comes off in flakes like the old Two Faced Lash Injection mascara before they reformulated it. Easy and not dramatic look. COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter - easy and creamy highlighter. Blends well and leaves a natural glow. What are some good hydrating easy makeup recommendations you have?

Updated 90s Grunge Look 🦇
So I tried my hand at my version of a 90s grunge look. Make up is all about trial and error. I don’t think the end result was what I wanted but the beauty of make up is it washes off. I definitely want to try again in the future but I still wanted to post my first attempt. So I wanted to start this off stating that I do have oily skin so I tend to lead towards more mattifying products and I’m very fair with olive undertones (I’m Sicilian and Irish). First, I started off with my base as usual. The Ordinary - Colours Coverage Foundation with SPF 15 in shade 1.1N which is the closest I’ve found so far. I want to do an individual review soon but for the price this is an amazing matte foundation with coverage. Then, I use my finger to apply the NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer . I set the concealer with the laura mercier - Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes as it brightens up the area and helps my concealer crease a lot less and the URBAN DECAY - The Velvetizer Translucent Mix-in Medium for the face to keep my matte throughout the day. When I think 90s I think brown tones. That’s why I decided to keep it mainly to bronzer. I used the bronzer in the HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Face Palette to contour my face and give it some worth. I also want to do an individual review on this but spoiler alert the bronzer is amazing! Then I went to the eyes. For this look I used the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette which I forgot how pigmented and beautiful it was. I think the key to 90s grunge is pulling the shades all the way through the crease. I fluffed orange soda all in my crease and then sienna on top of that. Afterwards I packed mulberry into the outer corner and blended it. Where I messed up was I took tempera and put it on the inner corner to open up the eye some (for an updated look) think it was a matte shade (I also think all matte when I think grunge) and it had some shimmer. I tight lined my eyes with the benefit - BADgal BANG! 24 Hour Eye Pencil and then did a little baby wing because I can’t not have winged eyeliner with the KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Liner . I finished off the eyes with my holy grail benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara . When I think 90s I also think baby brows. Since I’m not plucking my eyebrows (😂😂) I decided to just add some benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel to give some color without actually drawing them in (I also have my eyebrows tinted right now). Then I ended the look with the DOSE OF COLORS - Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in That’s Cool which is a cool brown. In hindsight next time I do this I’ll be more careful to not do a shimmer on the lid and use a matte liquid lipstick but hindsight is 2020 🖤

Some of my Fav Products I used for this look❤️
MAC - Mineralize Timecheck Lotion this beautiful primer will allow for a smooth application of foundation by basically giving my skin a smoothed out and velvety look laura mercier - Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation Love this foundation as it is luminous whilst giving the face a beautiful natural radiant and glowy but not too glowy look. Because it is luminous it tends to melt easier therefore I gave it 4 stars because I live in the desert and a matte foundation would last longer) I still love it though because my face looks so good and natural at the same time. MORPHE - M439 Deluxe Buffer Brush This brush blends out the Laura Merciers Lumiere Radiance foundation, or any liquid foundation for that matter, completely and beautifully. Buffing brushes blend out makeup so beautifully and I find that this one does a better job at blending out liquid foundation than cream foundation. URBAN DECAY - Stay Naked Correcting Concealer beautiful and full coverage SEPHORA COLLECTION - Pro Press Full Coverage Complexion Brush #66 I love to use my fingers to blend out and pat in my concealer, then afterwards I love to use this brush to compact it into the skin. BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer one of my favorite bronzers that looks natural and just sun-kissed beautiful SEPHORA COLLECTION - PRO Angled Blush Brush #49 I find that this brush is the best for applying cream or powder bronzers ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Definer love this trianglular tipped brow definer. The strokes create natural looking hairs. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara hands down one of my favorite mascaras of all time ! After I curl my lashes I love to use this mascara. For today's look, however, I used L'Oreal's Telescopic waterproof mascara first and it really just lengthens the eyelash's to their fullest potential and makes them stay curled all day and then I went in with the Better Than Sex mascara to give them extra definition and volume BECCA - Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder hands down my favorite translucent powder of all time because it never leaves a ghostly white cast in pictures, makeup lasts all day, even in humidity, and because it's just so refreshing. Love to apply this with it Cosmetics - Love Beauty Fully All Over Powder Brush #211 I lined my lips first with BareMinerals Gen Nude Borderline lip liner then I applied this beautiful matte lipstick from MAC - Retro Matte Lipstick in the shade Dangerous 💋 & that's a wrap ❤️❤️❤️

Liquid vs. powder foundation
Will my face EAT this foundation? If I hug someone, will it TRANSFER? Will it make me breakout? Will it MATCH my undertones? Will it OXIDIZE? AND will it COVER what I want it to? Those are just some of the thoughts running through my head while selecting a foundation. Because of my oily skin and hyperpigmentation, I tend to layer liquid foundation and dust a powder foundation to set. (Powder foundation — other than KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Lock-It Powder Foundation Refills— tends not to have a ton of coverage/colors and if it does, then in an hour, my face will eat it.) laura mercier - Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation is medium to full coverage. It comes in 30 shades for $48 (1 oz./30 mL) and should be used with the loose setting powder color that best suits your skin tone. It is a “luminous liquid foundation with up to 15 hours of hydration and weightless, medium-to-full coverage, for a perfectly-glowing finish in any light.” For: Dry, normal, combination and oily. MY EXPERIENCE: I like this foundation, but this particular color runs warmer than I would like. Because of that I offset it with a powder to finesse the color. It is not transfer-proof. Recommend? If you find a color that suits you, then I recommend you get a sample from Sephora. (Obviously after this pandemic is over.) •••• NYX - Stay Matte but Not Flat Powder Foundation is a pretty affordable powder that you can get at most drug stores and Ulta. (Interestingly enough, there are 10 shades at Ulta but only 5 on NYX’s actual website. And the shade I have is not one of those. 🤨) From the brand: “Apply with a powder brush, all over your face for light coverage, or over makeup, for an instantly refreshing mattifying effect. For full coverage, apply with the included sponge or your favorite blending sponge.” MY EXPERIENCE: Even though, NYX says this is a foundation that can be used for light to full coverage, it is a pretty light coverage powder. Unless you want to look uber cakey. Unfortunately, my face would eat this powder up so I use it as a setting powder instead. Recommend? Not as a foundation unless you have perfect, baby skin.

Zoom Ready: Easy Work Makeup with Glasses 🤓
Keep your base makeup smooth, easy, natural and glowy. Light/Medium coverage is the best. No heavy contour or highlight. Blend from center out. When wearing glasses, only use leftover foundation products on your brush/sponge on your nose and nose bridge where your glasses sit. And for under eye concealer, also leave space for your glasses and blend outwards. Less products mean less smudging/creasing. Powder and setting spray also help a lot. Emphasize your brows and lips instead of your eyes. Use a light brown matte shadow on your eyelids to minimize puffiness and add definition. Dry Skin? Heres the products you NEED!
We all know how tough dry skin can be, as someone who used to struggle with extremely dry skin which has my moisture barrier still damaged and created hyper pigmentation in my skin, heres some products that can help heal it, as well as products that are made for dry skin. Avène - Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream This mostriuser is a thick restoring product, but is not oily or sticky at all. It minimises redness through its products and blue tint, as well as giving you a non oily glow without any break outs. Cetaphil, QV, Sukin, Cerave did not work for me when using their mostriusers. My skin was so dull and dehydrated until finding this product. Avène - Skin Recovery Cream Rich This mostriuser is a thinner mostriuser, I would reccomend this after an exfoiliater or scrub as it helps restore the damage afterwards, but not long term like the first product I mentioned. laura mercier - Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer With dry skin, its hard to find a concealer that doesnt cling to ur imperfections and flaky skin, or something that doesnt make you look cakey within one drop. This concealer is absolutely amazing for dry skin, and it makes it appear as if you arent wearing anything at all! I highly reccomend this conclear, its medium-light coverage depending on the shade you get. Heres some products that are popular BUT are not good for your skin. AT ALL! sukin - Detoxifying Facial Scrub Super Greens CLINIQUE - Face Scrub ST. Ives - Gentle Smoothing Oatmel Scurb & Mask ANY PHYSICAL EXFOILATER OR SCRUB (this is just a few) Scrubs are extremely damaging especially for dry skin. While the benifets of exfoilating are very promising, its way better to invest into chemical exfoiliants rather than physical. FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer This concealer is popular and was my first, it is very good for normal-oily skin types but it seems to cling on to imperfections on dry skin. Ive mixed in a mostriuser into mine and its going pretty well, but its not a good concealer to start with. HOPE THIS HELPED<3

My secret to achieving a flawless base
Achieving a flawless and perfect base is the most important process in making-up. I have oily t-zone while the rest of my face is very dry and sensitive. Sometimes there is patchiness around my t-zone, crack and dry patches appear on the rest of the skin. Under this circumstance, I have a secret way to achieve a perfect base that can last all night long. Keeping good skin condition is the best way to create a perfect base. So, good skin preparation is the key to great makeup. Usually, I use the PETER THOMAS ROTH’s Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Moisturizer to get my skin prepped and primed. This is the most hydrated and moisturized moisturizer I have ever used. my face becomes so smooth and gentle. When applying foundation on my face, I can feel my face like silk and there is no crack at all. The foundation can better adhere to the face and can last longer. When applying foundation, I usually avoid putting a thick layer of the foundation. It is difficult to blend thick foundation and then there will have cracks on the skin. In order to smoothly blend the foundation, I wet the beauty blender. The damp surface brings more streak-free blending. Because of the dry skin, I also choose a hydrating foundation. I recommend Laura Mercier’s foundation. The brand is famous for its ability to create a ‘flawless face’. The lightweight long-lasting liquid foundation with a matter finish is oil-free. It is creamy and wears beautifully throughout the day. Sometimes I use Laura Mercier’s concealer to cover my imperfections. I apply a layer of a litter concealer over the skin as needed and blend. The last process is to fix all the work firmly on my face. I apply Translucent loose Setting Powder all over my face. It can control the oil around my t-zone and allow longer-lasting of my makeup.

🧖‍♀️ How to Save Time: Hybrid Skincare Makeup
There are many days when I wake up and feel how much I want to shorten my make up and skincare routine so I can snooze for another 5-10 mins. One of the easiest ways to do that is to use hybrid skincare-make up products. Here are some of my suggestions below: NARS - Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 This tinted moisturizer kills 2 birds with 1 stone. Amazing light coverage and SPF 30! It’s great to even out skin tone and protect the skin. Bonus: it’s non-comedogenic perfect for combination/oily/dry skin types. It’s very thin so it needs to be shaken before application but when you apply it, it feels like second skin. HOURGLASS - Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 Mentioned this in another review before. Great primer and non-comedogenic with SPF 15. A great underlying base and some sun protection to add on before your tinted moisturizer. laura mercier - Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 This is an oldie but goodie product that’s also non-comedogenic because it’s oil free. It’s only SPF 20, for $46.00 for a 1.7 oz. whereas, NARS tinted moisturizer is SPF 30, costs $45.00 for 1.9 oz. I find the laura mercier tinted moisturizer to have too thick a base. Because of that it’s more difficult to wear on humid days. They also make a different version that I haven’t tried because it’s not oil free. laura mercier - Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF30 it Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer is a wonderful hybrid concealer. It has anti-aging properties that fight under eye wrinkles due to yum ingredients like peptides, vitamins, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and collagen. Perricone MD - No Makeup Blush The packaging is small and is $35 for a lil’ bottle but a little goes a long way. It’s vegan, cruelty free and even gluten free. Some ingredients that make it a hybrid is that it has vitamin c ester and ginger extract. If you’re using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% do not use them together. Sadly the No Makeup Blush contains mineral oil and this isn’t good for oily types since it can cause your pores to become blocked. I returned it. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Organic Wear Sculpting Bronzer it’s a matte bronzer that’s buildable and only $6.99 on Amazon. It only comes in 2 shades but they both work for my light/medium golden undertones. They look and feel more like contour sticks though. The drugstore powerhouse brand loaded the product with antioxidants and contains: jojoba oil, indian senna seed, and aloe vera. Just warm with your hands to apply and blend with fingertips. Hope this helps you save time, catch more z’s and free up your busy day. Enjoy 🧖‍♀️

Full face, but keep it natural 💋
Here are my favorite products for a natural full face of makeup! e.l.f. - Poreless Face Primer this primer is $5 and does the job. It has a slight which hazel scent to it and has a mousse like consistency that creates a blurring a smoothing effect to the skin. A little goes a long way so this purchase will last you a long time! I really like that this primer is lite weight and doesn’t feel to sticky on my face either, but still provides a good canvas for my foundation. MAYBELLINE - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer I use this concealer almost everyday to cover up any blemishes I may have going on or to correct redness as well. I use a shade that matches my skin exactly so I prefer to use this before I go in with my foundation to cover up what needs to me covered and provide an even color and coverage when I put down my foundation. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer of course I also use the infamous Shape Tape Concealer on glam days because of its coverage and how long it stays put. Sometimes I put this on before my foundation and sometimes I put it on after; it really just depends on my mood. I like to use this concealer as part of my contour to brighten the under eyes and some high points of my face. A little goes a long way to I rarely go into the tube for more product and honestly will takes some product off of the applicator sometimes so that I can slowly build up to how much product I actually want. Honestly though, there are concealers out there that are pretty good shoes that cost way less so I just bought this concealer as a treat to myself. If you’re on a budget I recommend the e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer because it’s $6, won’t budge, and has great coverage just like Shape Tape. wet n wild - MegaGlo Makeup Stick Conceal and Contour I bought this as an intro to contouring with creams and I really like it. It’s super smooth and in my opinion is fairly forgiving and won’t kill you if you mess up. This product comes in a few different shades and also has a blush. I only use a deeper shade for my contour and I really like how easy it is to blend out. I recommend using the stick directly on your face rather than rubbing a brush against it and then applying. I find this gives you more color pay off as well. Like the Shape Tape, sometimes I put this on before my foundation and other days after. I personally like putting it on before because if you go in too heavy then the foundation helps to even it out and I find it looks a lot more natural and has a smoother finish. laura mercier - Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 I’ve been using this for 5 years and haven’t budged on it! It’s a tinted moisturizer but is buildable and provides great coverage. It’s lite weight and I use a sponge to apply it. SPF is the perfect bonus!

Essence VS. Laura mercier, dupe or not?
Hi,guys, I gonna compare 2 hghlighters that are raved about on Youtube. laura mercier - Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact and essence - Pure Nude Highlighter, which is said to be a dupe of LM 💛Volume Laura Mercier 7.5g and Essence 6.5g are both pretty large sizes. 💛Powder Both pressed powders are pretty loose and so fly everywhere easily, but they can also be picked up easily using a brush. 💛Shade Color Laura Mercier is a champagne pink gold shade, which is lighter compared to Essences' beige gold shade. Both shades do not offer high color payoff, so there is not much difference between the two. 💛Makeup effect They give a subtle watery shimmer as if the skin is glowing from within, so it's suitable for an everyday work look. Summary Overall, Essence is not that different from Laura Mercier, and both are highlighters suitable for beginners.

3 Must-Haves from Laura Mercier
No.1: Laura Mercier Foundation Primer I have normal skin, so the classic version meets my requirements the most. It's colorless, scent-free and spreads easily. It does not particularly glow on the face and it lasts very long with its 50ml packaging! I will repurchase it again. No.2: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder It's not glowy, is colorless and scent-free. It doesn't leave flecks of highlighter all over your face, but it doesn't come with a powder puff. It gives the skin a matte finish and is quite long-lasting. No.3: Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact This product doesn't emphasize pores but is natural on the face. It's suitable for everyday makeup. It is not suitable for highlighting the nose bridge, but is very suitable for highlighting the cheeks. It falls out slightly, but it's nothing too serious. All three of them come in large packaging and are well worth their prices. I recommend all of them, but for those who want more coverage or brightening, other products will be needed to build on the makeup.

GORGEOUS! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!
GORGEOUS! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!
laura mercier - Blush Colour Infusion Laura Mercier has an amazing blush formula called Laura Mercier Blush Colour Infusion, which is described as a sheer, buildable and silky-smooth cheek color that blends seamlessly with the skin for the most natural, fresh look. The shades range from soft neutrals to vivid pops of color, with finishes ranging from matte to a subtle sheen with hidden pearl, to suit a variety of skin tones and skin types: Matte Shades: Rosé (matte rose pink), Chai (matte dirty rose), Ginger (matte pale nude), Strawberry(matte bright pink),  Kir Royale (matte berry wine) Sheen Shades: Sangria (sheer plum berry), Pomegranate (sheer fuschia pink), Fresco (sheer brown nude), Peach (sheer light coral), Grapefruit (sheer red coral) These three palettes I got are all pure matte but its delicate, soft and light powder really gives a youthful glow. It blends well, doesn't look powdery on the face and delivers color well. 💓Ginger is a pale nude with a matte finish, which can create cute everyday looks. 💓Chai is a cold-toned, dirty rose with a matte finish. I haven't found any other blushes with similar shades to this one. 💓Rosé is also a bit darker with a matte finish, but has more pink compared to Chai, and gives a more radiant look. All three shades are gorgeous and I highly recommend them!

This lip stick is really nice! The shade is a nice nude on my lips and it lasts throughout the day. I really like the texture on this because it’s not super drying and looks natural on the lips. Overall a really nice nude shade! laura mercier - Crème Smooth Lip Colour

The perfect Smokey eye look for a special occasion! I love using the laura mercier - Caviar Stick Eye Shadow as a base they’re so easy to blend with no brushes!! All you have to use is your fingers! On top of the base I used the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette their eyeshadows blend like a DREAM. The two formulas together make it so easy to achieve a beautiful Smokey eye.

So many people recommended this lauramercier loose powder that I just had to try it! I I love my makeupforever HD powder and I have to say that this one is comparable to it and I like it as much...or dare I say even more! 🌟It is really finely milled and goes on smoothly. It’s lightly tinted and so it doesn’t leave a white cast like some powders do. It doesn’t settle into my fine lines, which is the MOST important to me! .

Holy Grails for Combo Skin
Holy Grails for Combo Skin
My skin type is combination-oily laura mercier - Oil-Free Foundation Primer This one is my favorite. It is both colorless and oil-free, perfect for people with oily skin. Shake it well before use to mix the product well. smashbox - Photo Finish Foundation Primer Super Light This product is transparent and mattifies the face when applied. It blends very well but feels a bit heavy on my face and it doesn't smell nice. However, my makeup did last a long time after applying this beforehand. #HOURGLASS - Veil Mineral Primer[products]#[ThreeStars] It feels like a silicone-based product, leaving a filmy skin texture when used. However, it really brightens up my complexion. Don't try if you mind that one of the ingredients is silicone.

Some stuff I am excited to play with ctilbury and laura mercier . Did not realise how shiny some of the packaging is, almost blinded me in the sun 😂. I’ve heard so many good things about the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, and some of her nudes seem to be extremely flattering. The Laura Mercier palettes I picked up while overseas and saved them as a gift to myself, but fell in love when I swiped them!
