⛅️End of Summer SPF roundup! Face & body🧴
Just because Summer is coming to an end, your love affair with daily UV protection never should. These are the sunscreens I tried this year that I wanted to share with you guys. 🌤An obvious disclaimer: my skin is very pale & I can’t totally predict how these products will blend into deep skin tones regarding “white cast” (the washing out effect that zinc based sunscreens can have) But I tried my best to give an idea of the texture before & after blending/absorbing, check out the slides🤍 KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 Texture: creamy & moisturizing Finish: very dewy/shiny SPF: 32 Type: Zinc Oxide 22.4% I did a thorough review of this probiotic moisturizing sunscreen in a previous post, it’s very detailed⚡️ Has a light natural vanilla-oatmeal scent & a slight beige tint. I love this one for being so moisturizing & comfortable to wear, but the finish is quite dewy, so I feel I need powder over this to wear it in public. sun bum - Mineral Face Lotion SPF 30 Texture: creamy & lightweight Finish: matte SPF: 30 Type: Titanium Dioxide 5.3% /Zinc Oxide 2.4% This is such a great inexpensive option for a matte, mineral sunscreen that leaves very minimal white cast. The cast is slightly blue, though it blends away on my skin, this could be problematic for darker tones. The texture is so creamy yet very lightweight, it reminds me of makeup primer. It’s quite moisturizing, has no scent & is the most matte out of the 3. SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 Texture: liquidy & lightweight Finish: matte SPF: 42 Type: Zinc Oxide 12.5% /Octinoxate 4.9% /Octocrylene 3% This has been my go-to for years. It’s a combination of mineral & chemical sunscreens, & is oil free. You have to shake the contents really well first, but it has a little shaker ball inside to help. I love the texture of this, really light & absorbs well without being overly matte. I do always need moisturizer on under this though. The white cast is really minimal even with reapplication, & it’s never irritated my dry skin. Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen Spray SPF 45 Texture: lightweight liquid aerosol Finish: satin/semi sheen SPF: 45 Type: Homosalate 15% /Oxybenzone 6% /Octisalate 5% /Avobenzone 3% /Octocrylene 2.35% Honestly this makes my skin feel itchy & tight after applying, even after I moisturize. I’ve been steering away from purely chemical sunscreen formulas like this, but chemical sunscreens do work better for sone people. I wouldn’t recommend for dry or sensitive skin. sun bum - Mineral Continuous Sunscreen Spray SPF 30 Texture: creamy, medium weight aerosol Finish: velvet matte SPF: 30 Type: Zinc Oxide 14% Has a sort of tropical scent & feels good on the skin. Though some white cast, it’s not the ‘blue’ tint the face lotion has. Full review in a previous post.

What I threw in my Hospital bag🏩
Because I have a neurological disease, I have to go to the hospital pretty often & stay for days at a time. There have been times where I had to leave so suddenly or I wasn’t conscious, that I didn’t get to bring any skincare beyond the lip balm in my pocket. In the past I used to just throw every moisturizer sample I had in my backpack, but as you may have guessed, being in a new environment under stress is not the best time to test new products on our skin. So this most recent time I had to be quick, but managed to grab some helpful items... A “hospital skincare” bag will never be perfect, for me it’s about maintaining comfort. You may have noticed I didn’t bring a cleanser, I recommend you bring one if you can with a few of your own face towels (towels in the hospital are so scratchy & have been bleached) Me not bringing a cleanser is just realistic for me because I likely will not be up at a sink... I brought: BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O wipes Biodegradable & free of Silicone, Petroleum products, Sulfates & Alcohol. These are a really nice gentle face wipe. I haven’t used to remove makeup though. SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 Don’t forget to still wear sunscreen even if you’re chillin inside! This has never irritated my eyes, so for me it’s a great option to apply with out a mirror. CAUDALIE - Grape Water Face mist at the hospital is a must! This is my favorite. Full review is my first post.🍇I would love to bring my travel size but I ran out. LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask shade: Gummy Bear 🐻 Great for keeping my lips moisturized under my mask😷& overnight. Full review in previous post. sun bum - Signature SPF 30 Sunscreen Lip Balm Less important with my mask on, but I highly recommend this mineral sunscreen lip balm with non-nano zinc for all skin tones! Its free of fragrance, parabens & petroleum products& it’s less than $5 SHANGPREE - Marine Jewel Nourishing Mask & MAY COOP - Raw Sheet are two of my favorite sheet masks, check out my full reviews on both in previous posts. Beauty of Joseon - Calming Serum : Green Tea + Panthenol 🍵🍃I also bring this calming serum, it’s over 76% green tea leaf water & 2% panthenol (a B5 provitamin) I’ll be doing a full review soon on this & the other 2 serums Korean skincare brand Beauty of Joseon has to offer. HERBIVORE - Rose Quartz Facial Roller To relive tension in my face... I give this 4 stars because mine kind of squeaks at me & that’s not super relaxing lol. SHANGPREE - Diamond Luminous Cream A very rich Niacinamide cream I’ve been using. Full review of this K-beauty gem coming soon!💎 Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioner Mainly for some aromatherapy🌹

3-step skincare routine when I am super lazy
You know what I am talking about right? Sis, there are times when we’ve had a super long day and just don’t have enough time and energy left for a skin care procedure with six or seven steps.. so in such a case, I would skip some of the steps and just go through these three steps which would get me prepare for the long time at a fastest pace. So here are the products that I use: 🌿 Clinic Take the day off cleansing balm This is of great cost-performance ratio and I can totally afford it. I would be generous with the amount, using a lot of the products to cleanse my face and take off the makeup. It’s all natural and I don’t need to worry that it may irritate my eyes. And my face would never feel tight after use, as is the case with so many other cleansing products, which means I could skip the step of face wash😬 🌿 Guerlain Super Aqua Lotion When it comes to lotion, what I pursue in a lazy day routine would definitely be more and more and more moisture and this is exactly what I am looking for. It can be absorbed to the skin very very quickly, which is such a bonus when we desperately want to go to bed for sleep. And it would leave the skin sticky, even though it is extremely hydrated. 🌿Shiseido Ultimate Power Infusing Concentrate I feel like I don’t need to talk much about this product since it’s such a hyped product. And I just feel so assured when I am using this one. The result is never disappointing: the next morning I would still find my skin glowy and hydrated. But I wouldn’t recommend opting for this routine too frequently since the fragile eye area and lips are not cared for. But when you are running out of time, I would totally suggest you try it!

🇯🇵Japanese Skincare Products You Can Buy on Amazon👍 I CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT IT!😍😍😍
Some time ago, I went out for a long time, and a very interesting thing happened. The climate where I live is relatively dry, but my destination is a humid area near the sea. What I didn't expect was that this humid climate made me unlucky. The next morning after I arrived at my destination, I found that my face grew a few pimples, which started to be red and itchy. I'm so worried! Because sudden skin problems can make travel very bad. The skincare products I carry are also very limited. When I thought of Amazon's delivery service, I ordered a Japanese skincare product according to my skin and problems. Unexpectedly, after three days, the skin magically recovered to its original state. Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate SHISEIDO - Ultimune Power Infusing Serum Concentrate$120/100ML This is the artifact I want to introduce to everyone! It is Shiseido's star product. This product can save your sudden skin problems. It is very gentle and extremely fast. What surprises me most about this product is its texture. This is a kind of fast-absorbing serum suitable for all skins. This product can significantly strengthen and firm the skin, and resist daily damage while enhancing the effectiveness of any layer of moisturizer. J-beauty is very popular on Amazon recently, and they win with formulas, such as this product. It is rich in antioxidants, Ganoderma lucidum mushroom, and moisturizing iris root extract, which can strengthen the skin by 28% within one week. At the same time, the natural cocktail contains ginkgo, perilla, thyme, and lotus germ, which can significantly firm and smooth the skin, making it rejuvenate. By combining powerful Japanese plant extracts with breakthrough technology, it can play an invisible role, thus protecting the skin from aging, environmental damage, and obvious damage caused by stress.

Fabulous Makeup Remover
Ok. First off. If you haven’t purchased shiseido’s facial cottons, you have not lived. The facial cotton they make is SO soft and absorbs liquid so well. When you use it to apply a toner or remove makeup, it feels like the worlds softest tissue gliding along your face. Imagine charmine three ply toilet paper but doubled up and cut into a perfect square... shiseido is pretty similar. The amount you get in the package too is well worth the $14 it costs. Trust me. Buy a package of them. UNREAL Ok so- the BEST makeup remover I’ve ever used is this cleansing water. It’s so good for sensitive skin- especially around the eyes because it doesn’t burn them. Someone when I’ve used makeup remover, the product has bled into my eyes and causes them to burn or make me squint really hard. This cleansing water doesn’t do that at all. It gently removes all types of makeup (waterproof included) with the help of rose water but also soothes sensitive and stressed skin with their mixture of ingredients they call “dragons breath” It’s super hydrating too! You know when you wipe your face with a makeup wipe but then your face has a weird film on it afterwards- yeah- not with this baby! I honestly don’t know how people just take off their makeup with a wipe and then go to bed! I need to wash my face and then apply four hundred creams before I go to sleep 😝 Anyway, buy these two products. THE BEST combo

Lotion mask method
This idea is taken from the book The Japanese skincare revolution by Chizu Saeki, I honestly don’t remember where I saw that someone recommended this book, but I bought it to learn more about the advice she gave. It’s a popular method in Japan thanks to Chizu Saeki, she places a lot of emphasis on skin hydration, this method is one of the techniques to improve skin hydration levels. In Japan, lotions are similar to toners, but Japanese lotions tend to be thicker and more hydrating. You only need a lotion (toner), multi-layered cotton pads and water. After cleaning your skin: 1. Take a multi-layered cotton pad and soak it in water. 2. Press the cotton to remove excess water. 3. Soak the cotton pad with the lotion (toner). 4. Separate the cotton sheets and put them on your face as a mask. 5. You can apply cling pack or a shower cap to increase the penetration of the lotion. 6. Leave 3 minutes and remove. Then follow your normal beauty routine. You can use whatever toner you have on hand 🙌🏻. This routine leaves the skin hydrated and soft and makes the rest of the products work better. *** I'm going to post a video with the steps, since you can't combine photos and videos in the same review.

✨🦋 Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Compact 🦋✨
This years Sulwhasoo limited edition refillable compact was created in collaboration with Antoinette Poisson. Sulwhasoo is a Korean luxury skincare & cosmetics company, known for their “ 한방 /Hanbang “ (traditional, holistic Korean medicine) formulations. ‘A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson’ is a world renowned design house inspired by 18th Century decorative arts & production techniques. Founded in 2012, the collective produces exquisite printed papers, decorative objects & fabrics from their atelier in Paris. Named after Louis the XV's favorite mistress, The Marquise de Pompadour, both patron of the arts & wallpaper enthusiast. Sulwhasoo - Limited Edition Perfecting Cushion 2020 Spring Collection 🧵So beautiful... & plush, just like a real pin cushion! For this limited edition compact, the studio of artists at Antoinette Poisson reinterpreted traditional Korean symbols of love, prosperity & happiness in colorful & metallic embroidery. Both limited edition & regular Sulwhasoo cushion compacts retail for $65 & come filled, plus 1 refill. This is no longer available on Sulwhasoo’s site, but online stores like Bergdorfs, Nordstrom & Bloomingdales still have it in a few shades! I included some pictures of gorgeous ones from years past in my slides🦋🦌 Now onto the formula! Sulwhasoo - Perfecting Cushion Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Sunscreen shade: 23 I didn’t know if the shade I purchased was going to be correct, but I really wanted the limited edition compact! I figured I can grab a refill in another shade later. I was extremely impressed by this! I love that it has SPF 50 from a mainly mineral source & the moisturizing formula has Niacinamide as the 8th ingredient. Other botanical extracts include, Honey, Sacred Lotus flower, Peony, Solomon’s Seal, White Lily & Rehmannia. In addition to the shade concern, I was worried it would be too high coverage or too dewy for my liking based on some descriptions of the product. It boasts patented “Slim Fit High Coverage” claiming to “conceal discoloration & uneven tone as it lightly applies to skin...” Fancy descriptors can be really confusing, & often cushion compacts offer lighter coverage in general, so I still decided to try this based on so many 5⭐️ reviews on their site. I was looking for an easy to blend, light-med coverage, that would even out my tone & add radiance... this is IT! So natural!✨ I couldn’t be happier with the formula! It has a lovely soft herbal scent with a hint of light florals. So pleasant, not strong. Hydration wise, it’s very comfortable to wear & apply. My skin felt moisturized all day wearing this. After 5 hours, I could have used a light touch up, but nothing major (check all photos) I didn’t lose any coverage, just got a little shiny around my nose, quite normal for me. I don’t think the shade is that wrong either, it blends so well, & I hate looking pink! The finish is perfect, smooth & radiant, not overly matte, so I feel healthy & glowy! i💚the refill concept♻️

🧫First Impressions: Kinship probiotic SPF 32
Kinship Self Reflect probiotic moisturizing Zinc Oxide sunscreen - broad spectrum SPF 32 $25/1.75 oz KINSHIP is a “clean” & sustainable skincare brand launched last November by Alison Haljun (formerly VP of marketing at Benefit) & Christin Powell (who cofounded Juice Beauty ) ➕Every product is under $25 ! 🦠Their proprietary formula, Kinbiome™ is present in all of their 6 products. It’s a plant-based probiotic, derived from the fermentation of lactobacillus, a bacterium which produces lactic acid from the fermentation of carbohydrates. This ingredient complex supports clear skin & stronger barrier. 🔎Most of us may be familiar with prebiotic skincare, but.. what’s the difference between prebiotic & probiotic? Prebiotics: Specialized plant fiber that acts as food for the good bacteria. This stimulates growth among the preexisting good bacteria. Probiotics: Living strains of bacteria that add to the population of good bacteria in your skins microbiome. ✨This is the first product I’ve tried from Kinship. KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 🧫I was drawn to this due to good reviews & the reported vanilla scent without synthetic fragrance! I’m trying to go all mineral with my sunscreens, & this had great reviews regarding white cast. I really loved how moisturizing this was! Other sunscreens can sort of dry up my face cream, but 12 hours later & my usually dry skin feels content. It does smell like vanilla, but not very sweet due to it being from the natural extract, it kind of smells like oatmeal! I like it. The texture is quite nice, creamy & moisturizing with a slight beige tone to counter the white cast Zinc leaves as a physical sunscreen. At first the shade looked sort of ‘cool’ toned, but I didn’t feel it washed me out. ⚠️That being said, I’m very pale & I’m not sure if this would still read ashy or gray-ish on deeper skin tones. There are pictures in the slides of the texture/blending/my face etc. ⚠️Another warning, it’s very shiny. This might not be a favorite for oily skin types... I wear a lot of hydration layers & rich face cream, so it didn’t bother me that much... I applied some Chanel pressed powder & Armani liquid highlighter as blush to see how that looked, but I was still looking a touch shiny in bright light. I’m surprised I couldn’t get it to look shiny in outdoor light, but today was overcast... But let me tell you I know I was shiny! 🤍I recommend Sun Bum mineral face lotion if you’re looking for a truly matte & very affordable $18 mineral face sunscreen, both are reef safe too! My review is in a previous post☁️ 🧴I’m going to experiment with a different face cream under it tomorrow, but shininess aside, I still give it 5 stars for the way it performed on my skin & the lasting moisture. If I have to throw a lil powder on to leave the house I’m not mad at it, but I usually don’t do anything these days beyond curling my eyelashes with my Shiseido🖤

Is the $50 splurge worth it?
This foundation claims to “self-refresh” during its wear with its trademarked “active force” technology. Whatever that means... Can anyone tell me? Lol. Retailing at 47 dollars, is it worth it? 🧐 Personally, I like it. When you first put it on, it does seem a bit thick, but it definitely settles into your skin after 30 minutes and the finish is flawless. Coverage is about medium - which I’m fine with. But as you can see, it’s not 24 hour wear, my red spots are peeping out after 8 hours but it still looks pretty good. Honestly, I don’t expect any foundation to last for more than 8-10 hours😂 However, at $47... hmm.. If you’re willing to splurge, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! You can always rely on this foundation, it has SPF, and it’s easy to apply. I have yet to find a drugstore dupe! I’m going to give it 4 stars because of the price and this “active force” technology that they don’t explain on their site which makes me think it’s more of a marketing gimmick. Harajuku Style🇯🇵 J beauty rainbow makeup
Obsessed with Harajuku Style. Yesterday I tried this Harajuku girl rainbow makeup. Here are some simple steps to create this makeup. Base makeup: I used Shiseido foundation and Tarte concealer to create a matte finish Eyebrow: Used this for THICK eyebrows Eyeliner: I use a blue color eyeliner beneath the black one. Eyeshadow: To create this rainbow makeup, eyeshadow is the key part! I applied red(matte one), green, yellow, and pink(a shimmer one). I also put some glitters under my eyes. Blush: I applied a little on my cheekbones Lipstick: It is pigmented but not very long-lasting. My friends said it seems like the E-girl makeup. Maybe.

Hi all! So I’m 29 years old and just started my nee PM skin regimen! I’ve always suffered from acne.. so I’ve tried it all in the books!!! IVE ONLY BEEN USING THE PRODUCTS FOR 3 DAYS!!! BUT I HADDDD TO SHARE BECAUSE OF THE SIGNIFICANT CHANGE!!! The The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% has really controlled my oily skin and inflammation of new pimples. TheCure - Natural Aqua Gel I use it 2x per week and it’s a super gentle water based exfoliador that removes all your dead skin without the harsh acids or chemicals. The HADALABO - Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist moisturizes your face! And I use it AM and PM... which btw my fave is pretty dry because of all the new things I’m trying out. The SHISEIDO - Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream is very smooth and your skin sucks it up! But it does have a mild fragrance smell (which I don’t mind). I use it for fine lines...more of a prevention... TheDIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel I just started using it as I mentioned -3 days ago- it’s supposed to take up to 12 days to actually see a difference but I already do!!! My pimples have reduced in size and they definitely don’t hurt as much. Last but not least! The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I seal off the entire treatment with this moisturizer!!! You definitely need it because your face will DRY OUT and look patchy!!! I WILL POST AGAIN IN 14 days to see any improvement!!!

Eye LOVE These Products 👁!
About two months ago I started using two new eye creams. They are Ole Henriksen’s Banana Bright Eye Creme and Shiseido’s Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream. Now, you’ll notice I said I love these products but I only gave them four out of five stars. My reasoning is because I bought these creams after researching products that will help fade under eye circles and I haven’t noticed much change in my circles. I admit, my under eye circles are INTENSE. So, I’m not sure if anything can tame them. HOWEVER! I have noticed a serious change in my under eye wrinkles and crow’s feet since using them. They are definitely fading. For my routine I use the Banana Bright as part of my morning face care and the Benfiance at night. I think I’ll definitely buy these both again! What I use for emergency skin repair?
Today I want to share my skin routine when I have breakouts before my period, or my skin feels uneven and has small pimples on my face because I eat too much unhealthy foods and stay up late. I usually do this routine no more than five days and I can see the great results. The most important point is “less is more”, so I would only use one repairing product and focus on moisturizing so that there won’t be too much burden for my skin. For the first step, I will apply a moisturizing skin lotion with a cotton pads, which will help me clean the skin better. I use the Eudermine Revitalizing Essence from Shiseido, and I think you can choose any lotion you like if the ingredients are simple. After wiping my face and neck, I will use it one more time without cotton pads to give my skin a good base for the next step. The next product I use is the Advanced Night Repair Intense Reset Concentrate from Estee Lauder. Using Chronolux S.O.S. Technology, this treatment rescues and resets the look of skin fast, and I can tell the difference in one night! This product has Tripeptide-32, which is a patent ingredient of Estee Lauder and has great antioxidative effects. The salicylic acid and resveratrol inside can help with pores, breakouts and make the skin brighter and more stable. Besides, dimethicone, squalene and hyaluronic acid are for moisturizing, so if you have oily skin, you can omit cream afterwards. The last step for me is moisturizer. I use the True Cream Moisturizing Bomb from Belif. I really love this brand, and they have different texture of moisturizer. If you have combination or oily skin, the Water Bomb is also a great choice if your expectation is only stay hydrated all day and all night. Because I don’t want to have too much products on my face when my skin is sensitive, so keeping my skin hydrated is the most important thing for me. And this product does a great job.   So that is my skincare routine when I need emergency repair and I would only use this routine when needed and go back to my normal routine after I feel better. Hope it can be helpful for you too.

My P.M Routine 👇🏻
I am combination dry skin, moisturizing has been set in the chief need. When I close to 30 years old, except moisturizing product, anti-aging products are also necessary. P.M sisley - BLACK ROSE CREAM MASK SHISEIDO - Eudermine Revitalizing Essence sisley - Ecological Compound The biggest difference between A.M and P.M is using the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask. This mask features anti-aging and moisturizing. I use it for 3 times a week. The texture is cream and presents the light pink color. It gives off a smell of rose, very exclusive flavour. After cleaning up, to apply a thick layer on your skin, and wait for more than ten or twenty minutes to wash off. After washing off, you can obviously feel that your skin is smooth and brighten. It can clean the pores and make your skin glow. After cleaning the mask completely, I am going to apply Shiseido Eudermine. I have bought-back this toner for many times. If you are dry skin, I recommend you to go to buy it quickly! It can keep your skin in a newly-born condition! Collocation with Sisley ecological compound, the function of anti-aging and moisturizing are all covered by this routine. A.M SHISEIDO - Eudermine Revitalizing Essence GUERLAIN - Bee Glow Youth Moisturizer In the daytime, in addition to not applying Sisley black rose cream mask, I will replace Sisley Ecological Compound with Guerlain abeille royale youth watery oil, which is more hydrated than the previous one from my experience. Only ensure that the skin is moist enough, the foundation and subsequent cosmetics can help you skin present the best condition. Sisley Ecological Compound is for all skin types, and the Guerlain abeille royale youth watery oil is more suitable for dry skin people! In addition to season change, I will change my routine. Any other periods I have been using this routine for over three years.

Shiseido’s Bio-Performance Glow Revival Serum
SHISEIDO - Bio-Performance Glow Revival Serum $99 My Recommendations: Best. Serum. Ever. Of all the products I’ve used in nearly 3 decades this is my all time traditional holy grail. I’ve always used Shiseido because it’s super advanced in anti-aging and keeping skin luminous, even toned, but this product goes above and beyond in reducing our wrinkles and dark spots. It started when my mom would use this the last years and I saw this serum’s wonderful results on her face with my own naked eyes. Everything is visibly defined: more youthful, even-toned, reduces pores, wrinkles, dark spots, and she has a more luminous glow. It has been miraculous for me as well since using this and a 2nd bottle is already awaiting. Super recommend.

Morning Routine:
Rise up. Gulp up. There’s a reason why if you’ve ever heard of your doctor or doting mother recommend drinking water first thing in the morning. The saliva stored in our mouths overnight is high in health benefits for our diet metabolism and skin. 1. Drink Water 2. Drink Coffee: No cream. Sugar every other day. Caffeine works wonder not just for our energy but also our skin internally due it’s antioxidants. 3. Intermittent Fasting: I will write some time about this in the future. Fasting is miraculous for our health and skin. 4. Cleanse & Shower: I wash my face in the morning but not with cleanser until evening. This way I’m not over washing and still preserving last night’s serum and cream. 5. Serum 6. Sunscreen 7. Moisturizer/Cream 8. Makeup: No Foundation, Eyebrows and Eyeliner only 9. Sunglasses a must 10. Bring a home-cooked meal for work. Time for that 9-5! (for me it’s until 6)

The Most Beautiful Highlighters I Found!
From left to right SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face ColorPK 107: It has fine powder which is basically colorless on face and flies everywhere. It can be used on the under eye area to cover small bumps. However, it dries easily, so it's important to keep the skin around your eyes moisturized. clé de peau BEAUTÉ - Luminizing Face Enhancer #11 Pastel: It's absolutely stunning! The packaging is pretty, the powder is fine, and the little brush it comes with does a pretty decent job of applying the product. It's a loud highlighter which is well pigmented and suitable for those with a lighter skin tone. Normally, I'll apply it gently to the outer corners of my eyes and my nose bridge, giving a nice glossy look. BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter: My forehead is not plump enough, so I'll normally apply it to my brow bones, my cheekbones, the outer corners of my eyes, along my nose bridge and to my chin. It's a light champagne shade suitable for warm skin tones. It provides your skin with a healthy translucent glow. The powder is so delicate that it doesn't fly everywhere when applying. I definitely recommend it! From the swatches, we can see that Becca is a more yellowish tone, PK107 has a light metallic blue shimmer while Clé de Peau Beauté illuminates your skin with a translucent glow. You must buy yourself the Becca highlighter! You can buy the Clé de Peau Beauté enhancer if you have enough budget, or the Shiseido face color if you have an even greater budget.

Worth the hype?
SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Colorpk107 It has a light pink shade which I mostly apply on the apples and tear trough. It creates a light blue but natural-looking shade on the face under the sun. It covers the tear trough well and doesn't emphasize your pores. However, it doesn't really do much for me and many drugstore highlighters, such as Soap & Glory's Glow All Out, can offer the same results. SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Colorwt509: It has a beige white shade with no pearlescent tone or shimmers. It looks plain at first, but once it's applied, it really brings out your nose bridge and your forehead, giving you a taller-looking nose. It leaves a very natural look as if your skin is glowing from the inside out and you'll look perfect from every angle. It's also very subtle yet it greatly improves your overall makeup look.

SHISEIDO - Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion SPF 50+ Sunscreen for Face/Body this product had so many reviews on sephora for being super liquidy and am easy to apply...so I had to try it! I’m always on the hunt for a good sunscreen with a high spf, and this seemed like a great find. but at $35/1 ounce, it was somewhat pricey 🥴🥴🥴 YOUD THINK THAT FOR $35/1 OZ....THE PRODUCT WOULD BLEND INTO MY SKIN! wrong. when i first applied it i noticed how white the product is, but i believed that with a little patting it would sink in. after five full minutes of pushing the product into my skin, I was still left with a horrendous white cast. I hated it. the product smells like alcohol, which I didn’t mind because I like the smell. the texture was amazingly liquidy so it spread nicely across my skin. pretty moisturizing too! but this white cast was unacceptable. this product cost wayy too much and made me look super ashy. i’m so mad!!! please recommend good sunscreens for my skin down below!

SHISEIDO - Color Gel Lip Balm My. Favorite. Glossy. Lip. Forever. This is an ultra-smooth, shiny and moisturizing balm with a wash of color. The shade, Lotus, is basically my lips but better (darker). I love the way this looks on my skin tone and the way that it feels! It never dries out my lips and acts like a glossy balm. There are so many shades to choose from, from brights to nudes, so I’m sure everyone can find a shade they love! You can tell from the swatch that it’s quite pigmented for a “lip balm”- which is why I love it! Clear glosses are great, but I love deepening my natural lip color because I find it to be more flattering on me!

I’m so excited to talk about this Purifying Mask from shiseido 🇯🇵 I’ve been using this mask for over 10 years now and it is something that I think I will always purchase. It’s super easy to apply and take off. All you need is 5 min. Every time I use it, my skin is brighter and clearer. I sometimes even have some hyper-pigmentation spots since I pick at my face sometimes and this helps diminish those super fast! (I know, I know thats a horrible habit and I probably shouldn’t have mentioned that. But I want to be honest and share my flaws with you all too) 🙈 Anyways, back to this amazing mask: It has no scent and it’s very soothing. No pulling, no stinging, no cooling effect. It’s just amazing! I highly recommend it!

What is the Right Serum for You?
What is the Right Serum for You?
Shiseido is a product I’ve used for years since my early twenties. This is one of my Holy Grail, after water. For those who ask: Q: “Why should I use serums?” A: Serums are rich in skincare benefits and highest in its ingredient, potency, and anti-aging effects. It has the benefits of revitalizing skin to be more youthful, reducing wrinkles and dark spots, strengthening skin barrier, refining pores, reducing puffiness and redness, brightening , clearing, evening skin complexion and more. Q: “When should I use serums?” A: While moisturizers and creams are meant to hydrate your skin, as it’s name gives it away, too often we make the mishap to skip serums and only use creams. Serum is the 3rd step right after you use toner and this is key -it should be used right before your moisturizer or cream. The reason why we use moisturizer or cream after is because it helps “lock in” the effects of serums and retains it with moisture. Using serum after is a no no as well.
