Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ mask
boscia recently had a sale on their masks 31%off. So I definitely took advantage. This mask is so incredibly beautiful and I have been wanting to try it for a while. I’ve seem some pretty mixed reviews so here’s my thoughts 💭 boscia - Mermaid Fire and Ice Cryosea Peel-off Mask Claims: Feel the icy-cool effects of the high performance boscia Cryosea™ blend combining cryotherapy inspired ingredients like Sea Water, Red Algae, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sea Kelp, and Menthol to provide a cold-as-ice experience that lifts, tightens, plumps and increases circulation, leaving skin tingly, cool and perfectly prepped for application of next skincare steps. Mermaid-like holographic effect is courtesy of floating traveling pigments. For all skin types $39.00 for 2.8 oz. My experience 🧜‍♀️ First of all this mask is so beautiful in person. It shimmers and definitely has a holographic effect. I do think $39 is a bit expensive for a mask so that’s why I waited for a sale! It’s pretty thick so it can be a bit hard to spread but I got the hang of it. When the description says icy they mean ICY. If you have sensitive skin I highly doubt you could handle this. Tingling, burning etc. never affects me but this was INTENSE for the first 10 mins. It then calmed down by a lot of felt fine other than the normal tight feeling with peel off masks. After it dried, it peeled off super easy and THE TIGHTENING EFFECT 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I kid you not, my face felt firmer than it has in years. It didn’t dry my face out instead it felt soft and hydrated. My pores looked smaller as well. But I can’t get over the lifting and tightening effect. I’ve been looking for a mask to do that and I’ll continue to buy this! (On sale 😂) The only reason I gave this 4 ⭐️ is because the cooling part is a bit too intense but like I said it does get better and the after is worth it!!

A peel-off mask I actually enjoy.
I mentioned in a previous review I judge peel-off masks harshly, but the boscia - Mermaid Fire and Ice Cryosea Peel-off Mask mask is a winner. It’s not so strong that it hurts to peel off (meaning it’s probably not damaging my skin), and the cooling sensation from the fire and ice formula feels soothing to my skin. My skin is sensitive and Didnt have any reactions to this, and I thought it was a fun mask to use. I recommend it, but I do think it’s a bit pricy at $39 for a full-size tube because there are no more than 5 full-face applications inside.

Skincare Journey Part 2 - How to: Clear Skin✨
🌟My skin care routine!🌟 🌙DISCLAIMER: What works for me might not work for you, I’m just sharing what works for my skin. However, you’re welcome to try some of the products to see if it works. Hope you enjoy!🥰 👩🏻‍🔬When it comes to my daily skin care routine I try to keep it simple. In the morning I only use my cleanser, eye gel, moisturizer, sunscreen and lip balm. At night I change it up a bit by adding a few serums or acne treatment if needed. I also add a scrub or a mask when needed. Products used: 🌟Cleanser: Makes my face so soft and clean. NATURE REPUBLIC - Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Foam Cleanser 🌙Eye Gel: currently using the neutrogena but prefer the 40Carrots eye gel it’s so good it refreshes while also moisturizing and it’s lightweight. The neutrogena provides moisture but feels heavy. #40Carrots - Carrot + Cucumber Eye Gel[products]#[FiveStars] Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Eye Gel-Cream 🌟Vitamin C Serum : Both effective #40Carrots - Carrot + C Vitamin Serum[products]#[FiveStars] dermaXgen - Pure Vitamin Serum 30% 🌙Hyaluronic Acid: Love it! Plus it only has 2 ingredients! #Peaudor - 100% Hyaluronic Acid Serum[products]#[FiveStars] 🌟Moisturizer CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel 🌙Lip balm & lip oil Blistex - Lip Protectant/Sunscreen, SPF 15, Medicated Mint Balm NICKAK - Pure Lip Oil 🌟Acne treatment CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel 🌙SPF: Does the job but leaves a white cast. Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 60+ (I don’t even know if this is for the face but it works and doesn’t break me out) 🌟Face mask boscia - Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask 🌙DIY scrub: Coffe, sugar, turmeric, olive oil & honey. 🌟Check out my previous post so you can see my skin throughout the years and how it has changed. If you have any suggestion for me to add or change any products please let me know down below. 🥰

Better than the Aztec Indian clay mask!!!
Bought the normal size and I had to get the larger size! The Boscia Matcha Magic Super Antioxidant Mask is hella bomb and it has become one of my favs. I love it so much that it has replace my Aztec Secret Indian Clay Mask because is simply better in many aspects. First of all it does not get my face super red and irritated but instead it calms it and detoxifies at the same time. And it’s not super hard to get of my face. And last but no least it doesn’t dry out my face. Boscia Matcha Mask provides my skin with softness, smoothness while also detoxifying and calming(reduces redness) the face. After every use my skin feels more clean, youthful and brighter. Therefore, buy it (lol). I totally recommend it. You won’t regret it. boscia - Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask

Some of my faves to stay hydrated in the cold
*I have oilskin that isn’t particularly sensitive* Derma-E Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Serum A super hydrating serum that works great for sensitive skin and can be used day and night. It helps reduce redness and is chock full of Omegas. I use in the morning and night after applying the next product which is... Hanskin Skin Essence Safe for sensitive skin. a K-Beauty essence which is a product I’ve experienced with this year to replace or enhance the use of a toner. I’m oily and so this doesn’t work well as a toner but it’s great to apply after cleansing + toning to add moisture into your skin. It’s super light and you literally only need to drop the bottle in your palm one time and dab directly on your face. After applying this I follow up with a serum as mentioned, then an oil and moisturizer. Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cleansing oil This is also safe for sensitive skin and the first cleansing oil I’ve tried. I’ve had this for almost a year. After first I was mainly using it before applying a face mask but as the weather gets colder, I’ll be using this once a day before applying a standard cleanser (double cleansing as the kids say) Fresh Sugar Lip Polish I got this from Sephora when I was eyeing Fenty Beauty’s lip scrub but the sales girl redirected me (sorry Rih Rih!). Lip exfoliation is something I should’ve gotten into sooner. Especially with the amount of 🌬🌲 I do. I love this scrub though, it’s made with sugar and super moisturizing. You really don’t have to apply a lip mask after scrubbing on your lips and rinsing it off but I do which brings me to... Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Baybeeee when I tell you my lips have never felt butterier?!? This right here is something your lips will thank you for. Best used before bed or as a prep before applying lipstick (which I learned from the queen, Tracee Ellis Ross) Lastly, and certainly not least Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream This is one of the most slept on skin care gems. This ultra moisturizing cream is made of olive oil, beeswax, honey propolis and Royal jelly 🍯 🐝 and guess what? I bought it for less than $10 at Walmart! The ingredient properties include antioxidants so it’s great for acne prone skin. I use this as my post-face mask moisturizer or in between serum and moisturizer application in the morning to give my skin an extra layer of hydration to protect against the elements outside. There is a version of this cream made by Taui that is less thick that I prefer (this will make you look greasy at first, Taui does not) when I’m getting ready to go out but where am I going right now? No where! DERMA•E - Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Serum Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence boscia - MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil fresh - Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask EGYPTIAN MAGIC - Healing cream

BAG FULL OF GOODIES
wanted to share my quick thoughts on some new products i have recently tried/incorporated into my routine! ⭐️ @theouai rose hair & body oil: we love a multi-functional product!!! this smells so fresh and is perfect for the ends of my hair for an extra boost of hydration. also makes me skin so soft! ⭐️ @boscia cleansing oil*: such a clean scent! i use about 2-3 pumps of this at night & easily removes all my makeup & spf. it’s hydrating and doesn’t leave any type of film behind! ⭐️ @soleilsolace shimmering rose infused body oil*: this is a dream! it gives the perfect amount of hydration & shimmer!!! it blends effortlessly & leaves me so glowy. ⁉️ @cocokind tumeric tonic: i really enjoy tumeric in products, but still am unsure about this one. i have used this in my AM & PM routine, but didn’t really see any noticeable difference on breakouts. it is also a rollerball, which I am not a huge fan of. i am going to continue to test it out! ⭐️ @byroe_official better green essence toner*: really enjoy the idea of an essence + toner! i never really used an essence in my routine because I didn’t think it was necessary, but this is so hydrating! i use it my PM routine after cleansing and I find that it really preps my skin for my serums & moisturizer! ⁉️ @habitskin spf 41 mister*: absolutely LOVE the idea of a spf mister... it’s genius tbh. it sprays on pretty evenly and light, however it does makes me look a bit oily. I think it’s perfect for pool days & days where I am wearing minimal makeup, but not sure that I would use daily. ⭐️ @cocokind texture smoothing cream: light weight moisturizers are my go-to for combo skin & this is perfect! i mostly use this in my PM routine as a last step & it really does a nice job of locking everything in. ⭐️ @farmacybeauty daily greens moisturizer*: this is another great lightweight gel moisturizer! while i enjoy using it in my AM routine, I think I still like honey drop more. I like using this on no makeup days. it keeps me looking matte and fresh!

Pudding for your pores 🖤 Mask # 2
This was a product that I’ve had my eyes on for a long time!! For some reason l, anything with pudding in the title interests me 🤷🏻‍♀️. This Pore mask is is $39.00 for 2.8 oz. and this I actually paid full price for because I REALLY wanted to try it! boscia - Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment Claims: Detoxify, refine and minimize the appearance of pores with a powerfully effective Activated Black Charcoal and Binchotan White Charcoal Powder wash-off treatment mask. The powerful duo deeply decongests by removing dirt, oil and impurities without over-drying and irritating. Key ingredients: Activated Bamboo Charcoal: absorbs toxins and impurities leaving the skin healthier-looking, clearer, refined and stronger Binchotan White Charcoal Powder: moisturizes and balances skin by increasing hydration Kaolin Clay: boosts the benefits of the Bamboo and White Charcoal by reducing excess oil without depriving the skin of key moisture, leaving skin deeply cleansed and balanced. My experience: With this mask, you use the enclosed spatula to get some of the white and black and then apply to the target areas you want to treat. When you mix the two you should have a thin and grey opaque layer. This is not a mask that you need to use a lot. One thing that I’ve seen in reviews is that it smells like licorice. I don’t think it smells like that AT ALL. To me it smells like the ashes of a campfire and it is a strong smell for sure. Not my favorite scent by any means but it’s tolerable. I waited about 15 minutes for the mask to dry and then washed off with warm water. It doesn’t give you that tight feeling and washes off super easy. The major thing I noticed was that my pores definitely looked much smaller. I have some really huge pores 😩 so anything that makes them look smaller I’m very happy with! I noticed my blackheads were gone as well!! After this mask I splashed on a little Tatcha the essence, then followed up with my holy grail daytime moisturizer, the Boscia gel charcoal moisturizer and my pores look about as good and small as they ever will! Repurchase? Definitely. The price tag is Worth it because when you have to use such a thin layer this container should last me quite a while. Plus , you only use this maybe once or twice a week. This definitely works for me and I love it!! 🖤🖤🖤

👀 does this eye serum work? 👀
✨ well yes! but with a catch — you gotta have another hydrating eye creme on hand, because Murad - Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum dried my eyes out! 👀 so, what’s so good about it? I really think it helped with my little wrinkles and dark circles using the primary ingredient of RETINOL a derivative of Vitamin A that causes skin cells to die and regenerate faster, leading to increased new skin growth. it can tighten fine lines and wrinkles, get rid of scars, and help with acne 🌸 it can brighten your eyes, but use another moisturizing eye cream or moisturizer on top. and ALWAYS USE SPF WITH A RETINOL. have you ever gotten a sunburn on the tops of your eyes??? i have. ✨ the eye cream i use over this is boscia - Indigo Eye Cream a beautiful lavender eye cream that brightens with a touch of pigment too

☀️ summer to FALL🍁 skin
as the temperature cools and the air gets drier, my morning skincare has two new additions! NEW to my skincare family are! Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel an extra dose of moisturizer before my SPF containing moisturizer that is oil free and super hydrating. I like using two moisturizers when the air gets drier outside. This lil baby is also a cool pink color DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil as a last skin step and a pre makeup step, i use a few drops of oil on the parts of my face that need it. it helps lock in the ingredients of my moisturizer so that the moisturizer stays in my skin. This is pricey, but there are other, cheaper oils out there. my skin type: oily and acne prone, tan The other family members: cleanser TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser A splurge, but a pretty good cleanser for gentle exfoliation. Its not perfect, but i do think my skin is less oily with this cleanser treatment SEPHORA COLLECTION - Clear Skin Days by Clarifying Serum The BEST product sephora ever came out with. 1.72 fluid oz of acne killing salicylic acid with skin loving hyaluronic acid. 11/10 Murad - Invisiscar Resurfacing Treatment a post acne treatment that fills in scars and reduces their texture and discoloration. i may get this big size because this one is so great! moisturizer dermalogica - Clear Start Oil Clearing Matte Moisturizer SPF 15 a creamy oil free moisturizer with SPF and mattifying benefits. This is my second tube! eyes Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water This and the Matcha toner are Milk’s best skin products. I use this on my upper and lower eyes for depuffing boscia - Indigo Eye Cream a new addition to my eye routine — the lavender pigment brightens and the long term benefits are excellend

Do the seasons affect your skin?
With a change in season comes a different temperature, humidity, wind and UV exposure which can all affect changes which the body needs to adapt to. It makes sense that as the weather changes outside your skin will react differently to it. With lower humidity— what we experience during the cold winter months—our skin’s moisture levels can drop drastically and dryness and a dull skin tone can set in. So what can we do? In general skin tends to be dryer in the winter, oilier (or at least less dry) in the summer. Extremes of temperatures and humidity disrupt the surface of the skin and cause changes in the function of the external skin barrier. After you have found a core skin routine that works for you, it is easier to adapt it to how your skin changes throughout the year. In drier seasons like autumn and winter, make a move to a more hydrating cleanser or balm. You will want to focus on hydration since the low-humidity climate during this time of year can dry out skin and the best place to start is with the first step of your skin care routine. Dermatologists also advise to tone less or even discontinue completely. Whether you have dry skin in the winter, oily skin when the humidity sky rockets, or normal skin year-round, the one thing your skin care routine needs is a hydrating moisturizer. Not moisturizing your skin you risk stripping your skin of oh-so important hydration , which causes overproduction of oils and a gross build up of dead skin cells on your face. When you start seeing the advertisements for everything pumpkin 🎃 spice (yum), Now is the time to pack away the lighter formulas and reach for the more emollient products focused on hydration and to find ways to combat visible evidence of any sun damage that may have occurred over the summer. The best part, most of the skin care routine changes you’ll make for the fall will last you through winter as well! Don’t forget your body!! Apply moisturizer within 60 seconds of coming out of the shower and look for ingredients like glycerin, ceramides and hyaluronic acid. 💦 The biggest thing is pay close attention to your skin. It will start to tell you what it needs and just make sure to adjust accordingly 🍁 Some great moisturizers I recommend for the fall and winter. Cetaphil - DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 is a good one for oily skin. Jumiso - Have A Good Cream Snail & Centella also for normal to oily skin. boscia - Chia Seed Moisture Cream for dry skin PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream normal to dry. Happy Fall Y’all 🎃🍁

💕💦 Renew & Hydrate
I am more than half-way through these beauties and will be sad once empty! boscia - Resurfacing Treatment Tonergently resurfaces and exfoliates the skin with AHA's, BHA's, & Apple Cider Vinegar while also nourishing the skin with a formulation of Boscia's signature blend of Willow Herbs, and Jojoba Leaf. boscia - Chia Seed Moisture Cream is a rich, thick, and creamy product and it keeps my skin so hydrated and well-balanced. Both have been the perfect duo for my night time routines especially, during these colder, drier nights. Boscia is one of those OG brands that I've loved since the very beginning and I can fully trust their products to keep my skin healthy and happy. Every single product I've tried from them so far has been gentle and great to my skin and I have always been and will always remain a complete fan. Do you have any brands where they keep doing you good? *Products gifted without any obligation to post or review. All thoughts are mine and mine only.

GLYCOLIC ACID PRODUCTS
💦 Glycolic Acid is another favorite ingredient of mine. It is a chemical exfoliant, namely an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), meaning it works on the surface of the skin to exfoliate dead skin cells. This can help prevent acne and blackheads, eliminate texture, and increase skins brightness and clarity. Here are some glycolic acid products in my rotation and my thoughts on them: (From left to right) 💦 Moon Juice Acid Potion is a 25% blend of glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids that also contains soothing adaptogenic reishi mushroom and pore minimizing niacinamide. I typically prefer a blend of acids like this because it can penetrate the skin at different depths. My skin is very accustomed to acids though and I would not recommend this for beginners unless you are using on a once a week basis. This is a good option if you like a stronger chemical exfoliant and are looking for a clean brand however I think this was a bit intense for my skin and I actually broke out from it 😞 💦 Boscia Resurfacing Treatment Toner with Apple Cider Vinegar is a 20% blend of glycolic and salicylic acid that also contains collagen stimulating apple cider vinegar. Even though this is almost as strong as the Moon Juice this did not cause me to break out or give me any irritation and in fact I noticed a significant improvement in acne and skin clarity. This is still very strong however and if you’re new to acids I would recommend starting with once a week with this one also. Another great option if you want a clean, potent chemical exfoliant. 💦 Saturday Skin Pore Clarifying Toner is a 10% glycolic acid toner that also contains pore minimizing ingredients such as witch hazel and niacinamide and hydrating sodium PCA. This is by far the gentlest of the three and a great option for beginner especially if pore minimizing is your focus. Witch hazel is an astringent so it tightens the skin and minimizes the look of pores. Niacinamide also works to minimize the appearance of pores while soothing redness. Witch hazel can be a little drying so if your skin is already on the dry side this may not be for you but Sodium PCA works to hydrate and balance out the drying effects. All in all a great chemical exfoliant for beginners looking for a clean option.

How cute is this little basket of goodies? On a side note, I tried the Boscia Rosehip Omega face oil last night and the glow is REAAAAL. I mean I’ve always been a fan of rosehip oil but I think the addition of omegas in this one just gives it that edge over others. I woke up so hydrated this morning! I can’t wait to keep using it ✨

This vitamin c serum with a caviar lime booster was awesome !!! Used it after my toner + facial spray. It definitely woke my skin up and was a great daytime serum. Didn’t make me break out. Sad this product is empty ! I did for sure notice it lightened the redness in my skin. It doesn’t have a smell to it which I didn’t mind. I want to try other vitamin c serums but this was great for my 1st one !
