100 uses and then it’s obsolete. I don’t know how I feel about that. Quite frankly, I think one of the cvs knockoffs might be a better option, considering the price (it’s about $40 bucks a pop) I do like it better than my brush, it feels gentle enough not to scratch but fire enough to get dirt out. There are knock offs that will do the trick and not hurt your pocket as much 🤑😘
Exfoliation is an essential step in your beauty routine to maintain that healthy glow, improve skin texture and tone, and prevent breakouts. Basically what it does is remove dead cells so they can be replaced by new ones. This process allows products to penetrate better and instantly restores luminosity by forcing cell renewal. A physical exfoliation is a product or tool that requires rubbing or scrubbing action. This includes brushes, sponges and skincare scrubs (it has small particles like salt grains, sugar, jojoba beads ...). This type of exfoliation removes dead skin cells from the top layer using physical friction. This type of exfoliation is preferred by many because you see an immediate result: smooth, radiant and healthy skin. Physical exfoliation causes less irritation than chemical exfoliation. It’s an excellent choice for oily skin and large pores as they tend to have thicker skin and are more tolerant of abrasive particles. My favorites: FOREO - LUNA play plus although many people are against these types of brushes, the truth is that I did see a major change when I started using it. I felt the skin softer and cleaner. Skin to You - Rated X-foliate Facial Scrub is one of my faves, doesn’t irritate and leaves skin clean and fresh. Chemical exfoliation work to break the bonds between skin cells, loosening dead skin cells so it can be easy removed. They generally have a smooth texture and penetrate deeper into the skin. The most common are Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) and fruit enzymes. AHAs Derived from substances such as grapes, citrus, milk and sugar cane, they dissolve keratin protein bonds that hold dead skin cells together. Once the bond is broken, the dead cells break off. The best known are glycolic and lactic acid. They are water soluble chemicals with low molecular structure, they act on the surface of the skin and help hydrate it, making them good for dry skin. Excellent for sun damage, hyperpigmentation, skin texture and wrinkles. It’s important to note that are photosensitive to the sun, so it is important to use a good sunscreen. BHAs They are lipid soluble, which makes them capable of penetrating deep into the pores, dissolving the accumulated dirt/oil. They are ideal for oily skin, acne prone and sun damaged skin. Salicylic acid has anti-irritant and antimicrobial properties that help prevent new breakouts. Enzymatic exfoliants are another type of chemical exfoliant and work best on sensitive skin. They are derived from fruits such as papaya (Papain) and pineapple 🍍 (Bromelain), which dissolve and digest keratin into small particles, leaving the skin smoother. They are a good option to start exfoliating since they work on the skin's surface and slowly digest cellular accumulation. My favorites: HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub gentle scrub that combines the 3 types of chemical exfoliators. It doesn’t irritate or damage the skin, it leaves the skin clean and radiant. CLINIQUE - Pep Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser in its indications it says that it can be used daily, its very soft and leaves the skin clean. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This one is a little more abrasive, but you get good results from the first application. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask its more gentle than the previous one and it also gives good results from the first application. I have combination skin, acne prone and generally I use physical exfoliators 2-3 times a week and chemical every 15 days or when I feel I need something stronger. The main reasons for using exfoliation is to prevent acne and improve skin tone and texture. Tip The minimum you should exfoliate is once a week (dry skin) and maximum 3 times a week (oily skin). The exfoliation should always be gentle and never abrasive. If you have severe acne, see your dermatologist first. Don’t do it if you have wounds or cuts. If you are taking medications or using prescription products (retinol), exfoliation may cause dryness, sensitivity and acne breakouts.

I’ve literally been having breakouts since I was 10 and I’m 29 About 2 months ago I really wanted to step my game up and work on clearing my skin and just feeling better in my own skin, I’m not big with any makeup so my goal is to have a more natural glow and smooth bright skin.. 😂🤦🏼♀️ ik thats everyone goal Anyway I need help! Maybe I introduce too much at once or is this my skin purging .. 48 hrs ago I decided to stop using everything and just use my boy friends dandruff shampoo once a day at night and nothing in the morning. Is Luxury Skincare Worth It? *discussion*
Please add your thoughts in the comments below! I want this to be an open discussion because our skin types and experiences are all so different. To begin: my skin type is combination sensitive dry with an oily nose and chin *and* I am prone to rosacea flare ups. Please keep this in mind when reading... Is luxury skincare worth it? Luxury can mean different things to different people—generally, luxury to me means that it costs over $40-50. It’s not really defined by designer names or anything like that. For me it’s difficult to justify spending tons of money on products without being able to test run them first...because there is no guarantee that the product will work for you and if you have to return it, it can be bad for the environment. Here are my thoughts on some luxury skincare I own: Allies of Skin Triple Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum First off, I won this in a giveaway—you WILL NOT catch me paying $72 for a skincare product ever. Second, I had heard rave reviews on this for a long time and was excited to try it. However, it just burned my skin and disrupted my skin barrier. It’s a thick serum and the fragrance is SO sickeningly sweet it kind of makes me nauseous. The brand said they are working on a version without fragrance but idk if I would try it since I had such a bad reaction to this one. It contains fruit acids as well which confuses me since it’s supposed to be hydrating. I used it after cleansing but before moisturizing. I can’t recommend this to anyone with sensitive or dry skin. mxt - custom mixed serum for me. #mxt - Custom Mixed Serum[products]#[FiveStars] I won this in a giveaway as well, however I have very different feelings on it. This serum cost was $56 after my customizations, which is expensive for about 1oz of product. HOWEVER, mxt takes you through a skin quiz and custom mixes your products based on your skin concerns. The fact that it is mixed for you makes it worthwhile to me—it’s not like they are just selling the same mixed product to everyone—it’s just for you. Also, the bottle customization is very cute. My custom serum has a light scent (but no fragrance ingredients) but is very lightweight. I use it after cleansing and toning but before moisturizing. I highly recommend trying this brand out at least once. I WILL be repurchasing this once it runs out! BONUS: TOOL - FOREO Products. FOREO - LUNA 3 for Sensitive Skin- I purchased this with a gift card gifted to me—it costs $300 😱. I have yet to try it, but right now I use the FOREO - LUNA fofo on days when I need a little extra exfoliation on my skin without using a scrub or damaging my skin. I absolutely love FOREO products—they are silicone so they are anti-microbial and gentle enough for sensitive skin. Highly recommend to everyone!! What are your thoughts on luxury products? #CheriePartner

Foreo Luna Mini 2 Dupe or Not 🤔
I bought Xpreen facial cleansing brush off of Amazon for $24. It’s supposed to be a Foreo mini dupe. I used it for two months and really enjoyed it. It did a great job of cleansing my face and getting all the dirt/makeup off. But, the silicon bristles were a bit harsh at times and would make my face super red after using it. I wouldn’t break out or anything, just made my face red. It wild eventually go down. Also, the charge on this cleansing devise last forever! Overall I enjoyed it and it made me curious to what the actual Foreo Luna Mini 2 was like. So I ended up snagging one at Ultas 21 days of beauty. #Xpreen - Facial brush[products]#[ThreeStars] It retails at $119 and I got mine for $58. I was super skeptical because of the price, but I am pleasantly surprised with how much I have fell in love with this luxury cleansing device. It does an amazing job of getting all the dirt/oil/makeup off my face. The silicone bristles are not harsh on my skin and my face feels so, so, so clean after using it🤩 The charge last forever and I use my Sephora daily brush cleanser to clean it after each use. FOREO - LUNA mini 2 I am happy I got the dupe, because it pushed me to buy the actual Luna Mini 2. Personally, I do think it is overpriced and I wouldn’t buy this device for the full price. So any of you who are skeptical wait for it to go on sale or try the dupe! I only use my Foreo now and gave my dupe to my bf 🤣 trying to help him step up his skin care game! Hope this helps any of you thinking about purchasing this 🙂 💕
Why I chose the Foreo Luna Mini 2 😍😍😍
I was looking for a birthday gift for a friend but wanted to get something that was special and can be used daily. Along came FOREO - LUNA mini 2 The reviews has been amazing so I thought why not treat myself too and do a review 😊 My initial impression was Wow 🤩 to how soft the silicone felt on my sensitive skin. The back of the device is a thicker brush for those who have oily skin and the precision tip is awesome for the T Zones. The awesome features for this device are: - your NEVER need to buy replacement brush heads - it’s WATERPROOF so you can take it in the shower with you. - it flashes every 15 seconds to let you know when to move to the next section of your face. - it’s only a 1 minute clean and it leaves your skin feeling squeeky clean. - 1 charge and you don’t need to charge again for the next 300 uses Ps: My friend loved her birthday gift - it was a gift that keeps on giving lol 🥳🥳🥳 Oh one more thing this device had 8 levels of vibration. I personally could not handle the strong vibration so I had it on the lowest setting.

Skincare Trend: Cleansing Devices
🧼 As the skincare industry continues to boom, brands continue to add additional ingredients, methods, steps, and implements. Being a big skincare fan and very susceptible to marketing, I’ve fallen into almost every skincare trend. Some live up to the hype and some don’t and today the trend we’re going to talk about is cleansing devices. 🧼 There are several different cleansing devices on the market with the two most mainstream brands being Foreo and Clarisonic (and I inexplicably own both). The basic concept of a cleansing device is it has bristles and vibrates and you use it with your daily cleanser for a “deeper clean.” 🧼 As someone who’s spent now $300 on cleansing devices let me tell you: they’re a gimmick. These are essentially a glorified method of physically exfoliating your skin. Which a.) chemical exfoliation is superior and b.) there are much cheaper ways to physically exfoliate your face. Additionally dermatologists seem to be split on whether tools like the Clarisonic are damaging to your skin which makes me nervous. The best thing about these devices in my opinion is that they are timed ensuring that you cleanse your face for a full 60 seconds which will give you a more effective cleanse. However this could easily be achieved with a timer.
PR/Gifted // Awhile back 2nd Design sent me a few lovely items that I am excited to share with you. @2ndesign_official ☁️ First Cleansing Oil: Pure and Fresh: I finally ran out of my Sheiseido Gentle Cleansing Oil and after reading the ingredients in this oil by 2nd Design, it made me very happy. This cleaning oil contains the following amazing ingredients: - Jojoba Oil (my favorite for cleansing oils) - Sunflower Oil - Rosehip Oil - Bergamot Oil - Macadamia Seed Oil I wore a full face of makeup the other day and I was super impressed with how easily this removed my makeup. I am used to oils like these in my cleansing oils so I know I will enjoy it as I continue to get through the bottle. I will keep you guys updated on a deeper review via my story as it empties. (Meaning the review Shiseido is coming soon, now that I finally finished it) ☁️ Springy Peeling Gel Tone Up Boost: I have used this several times now and I truly enjoy it. Some ingredients I want to highlight are: - Green Tea Extract - Centella Asiatica Extract - Vitamin C - Vitamin E - Allantoin - Gold Extract I suffer from dark spots and I love trying anything that aids in brightening my skin. I can’t say that this is the main reason why my skin is finally getting much better but I believe that it is one of them (since I use a Vitamin C serum everyday). This doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, I have somewhat recently reached a point where my skin has no active breakouts and I haven’t gotten any new ones even when I introduced this into my routine which is great. ☁️ First Lip Balm: Restore & Soothing: I am obsessed with lip balms. I have way too many.. no joke probably like 50 different kinds. I have 2-3 in my car, 2-3 in each of my bags, one next to my bed, one on my vanity at all times and the rest are in a drawer solely for lip balms/lip oils only. I am very happy I got to add this lip balm to my collection. The ingredients are lovely and make my lips feel super hydrated throughout the day. This one is kept in my school bag haha. The ingredients I want to highlight are: - Jojoba Oil - Rosehip Oil - Squalene - Mango Seed Butter - Ceramides Have you tried 2nd Design? 2NDESIGN - First Cleansing Oil Pure and Fresh FOREO - LUNA Mini 2 Facial Cleansing Brush Fuchsia DIPTYQUE - Mimosa Candle

My Simple Ritual: Update
Well... since I’ve been MIA for almost 9 months, I figured it was time to post an updated skincare routine! Quarantine, esthiology school, and the political climate have brought major changes into my life, thought process, and my skincare routine. Practically everything has changed in my ritual, except for one product (my tried-and-true Foreo). Some are revisits to products that I’ve used before but I wanted to give second chances, and some are brand new interests! Before we start, let me say that, in the future, there will be in-depth reviews of each product listed. Let’s get started: Cleanse 🧼: This has become a 2-part process for me. I’ve been using the BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil and the OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser in order to double cleanse. I used to think that double cleansing was too much for my sensitive skin, but that has proven to be false. I love these 2 products a lot! Especially the Ole Henriksen cleanser. I’ve used the Biossance cleansing oil in the past, and just decided to give it another try. I like it, but I just can’t justify the price (hence the 3 stars). Nothing wrong with it though! It does it’s job. Exfoliate ✨: To help aid in exfoliation and deliver a powerful cleanse, I’ve been using theFOREO - LUNA mini 2 with my water-based cleanser. I don’t think this little guy is going anywhere anytime soon! This is a powerful tool that’s definitely worth the investment! Treat 🧪: Reunited and it feels SO good! Here comes 2 more products that I’ve tried in the past and still love. Here we have the SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) and the DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream . I love the simplicity of the essence and how potent and hydrating it is. I honestly wish I would’ve bought a bigger bottle, but I didn’t know if I, or my skin, would love it. But here we are, regretful. The retinol from Drunk Elephant has reached cult status, and for good reason. Moisturize 💦: The ALGENIST - Advanced Anti-Aging Repairing Oil has won over my heart and soul! This product is non-comedogenic AND has a very light form of retinol in it. Y’all know how much I adore a good facial oil to seal in everything. Protect 🕶: No one, and I mean no one, can argue that SPF is the most important topical product. The Supergoop! - Zincscreen 100% Mineral Lotion SPF 40 PA+++ seems to have been sent straight from heaven. I’m glad I found my way back to this product. This works way better for me than the Krave Beauty sunscreen, for sure. And it’s tinted! Needless to say, my skin is GLOWING greater than the pits of hell thanks to these products. And, as an esthetician, that’s important to me. I loved my old ritual, but I wanted more enhancement. I simply felt like there was better out there. I feel like a new soul.
A TOOL YOU NEED IN YOUR BEAUTY ROUTINE👍🏽
you may have been starting at Clarisonics and Foreos for a very long time deciding which one to pick up? ***Swipe for raw skin pics*** I have to say got for the FOREO - LUNA mini 2 👏🏽👏🏽 you just can’t go wrong! Being silicon, it’s not as harsh, it gets your skin super clean, and the bristles are a lot more hygienic than something like a Clarisonic where you need to consistently replace it (which is technically in a way more hygienic but gets $$$) The silicon bristles allows for you to use this over and over again without the harbouring of bacteria on the device! I use this a couple times a week, especially on nights I have a full face of makeup to ensure I get that extra deep clean in the skin!🤗 Not only is this super gentle, it’s super effective and you will notice a difference in your skin after using this legit after the first use! 🥳 it’s that amazing! I have been using this for almost 4 years and I have to say, I’ve never had any issues with it and it really gets the job done! My cleansers have changed over the years, right now I’m using the device with the COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser which is amazing for oily skin without stripping it but with the foreo, it’s just that better! You really don’t need the big size version of this tool! This is small but mighty and I think I charge this like 2 times in the WHOLE YEAR! You never really need to charge this at all! 👍🏽 Make sure you clean it after use each time to avoid any bacteria build up because even though it’s silicon, it can still OFC hold bacteria but otherwise this is actually amazing!! My skin loves it and I’m sure you will too! I highly recommend it!☺️ #cheriepartner

It is something you should buy no matter how expensive it is👍 Best Facial Device
Nowadays many girls have a good sense of skin management. Sometimes they may spend a lot of money on skincare, smart facial devices are their buying priority, which is always very expensive. However, there is controversy over these facial tools. Some think they offer good value for money, others say girls are absolutely cheated by so-called high technology. I have my reservations about other expensive skincare tools, but a facial cleanser is really an invaluable tool for me. My sister ever used the FOREO Luna 2 Facial Cleansing FOREO - LUNA 2 for Normal Skinfor one year, now she has wonderful skin. After seeing there was a huge difference in her skin. I saved money and bought the FOREO Luna 3 for sensitive skinFOREO - LUNA 3 for Sensitive Skin, as a gift to celebrate my birthday. In the beginning, I feel painful to spend so much money. Later I console myself that it's an investment, I don’t have to replace pricy brush heads again. So I think that I actually save money in the long run. Ok, back to the point. My skin unfortunately is highly dry. I used to never use brushes because I have very sensitive skin. That's why I chose Luna 3 for sensitive skin. It is super smooth, so gentle and my skin feels softer without any tightness. It has cleaned very well, made my face less dry, brighter, and with less redness in the first use. In addition, even the stubbornly clogged pores on my nose are gradually getting cleaner after a time. Amazing! It also allowed my skin products to get absorbed faster and better into my skin. I find it interesting that after using the Foreo, whether in the morning or in the evening, I need much less of my skincare products than before because the skin is so well prepared. Although it’s a great product, my sincere advice is that facial cleansers can not be used every day, otherwise, the skin will become more sensitive and fragile, twice a week is enough. Hope you can get good results too!
Best cleansing device!
The Foreo Luna is a silicone cleansing device that emits pulsations to cleanse deep into the pore. The device is soft, durable, and waterproof. I have had my Luna since 2015. It is honestly such a well made product! The charge lasts so long too, I only charge it about once a year. I use it once a day, usually at night with my second cleanse (a gel-based cleanser) to really cleanse deeply and provide a gentle exfoliation and massage. It helps to create a rich lather with your cleanser and ensure that dirt and oil are removed effectively. I love the luna because it has timed vibration settings to ensure that you are cleansing for the appropriate amount of time to get the maximum benefits of your cleanser. Once the device is on, it pulses every 15 seconds for a total of 1 minute to give an indication of cleansing time. This allows you to work in 15 second sections on your face. I usually start with my chin and mouth area, then right cheek, left cheek, then forehead and nose. After you’ve cleansed your face, you can press the button once more to enable the anti-aging setting and use the specialized grooves on the back on the device for an anti wrinkle massage on targeted areas like the laugh lines, crows feet, and frown lines. This is hands down my favourite cleansing device. It is sanitary, gentle, easily cleaned, it holds a charge for ~450 uses (don’t need to bring charger travelling!), and it’s effective! It retails for $169 and I definitely think it’s worth the value for such a well made product. You can purchase the model that’s right for your skin type (normal pictured here). They also sell them in sets with products from well known brands near the holidays. It’s definitely worth it to buy it in the set as you’ll get some great products for just a few dollars more! FOREO - LUNA 2 for Normal Skin

The FOREO - LUNA play is a small cleansing tool that claims: - deep yet gentle cleansing - lasts 100 uses - made of ultra hygienic silicone - suitable for all skin types I made a post a month ago that I found this little thing at Ross for $12 (retails for $40)!! I was excited to try it out after reading a lot of great reviews on this app. I have always used a physical exfoliator (Gonna be honest here, I used to be a St. Ives Apricot Scrub daily 😳 before learning about good skincare) After using this product 1 to 2 times a week for the past month, I'm ready for a review! I like that my skin feels soft after using this and how you can control how much pressure to apply in different areas of you face. BUT This product only lasts 100 uses, which sounds like a lot, but then it just gets tossed. That seems like a pretty big waste to me. Also, having combo/oily acne prone skin, I feel like any kind of gentle exfoliation can help my skin feel soft and cleaner. This is another reason why I feel like this product is a bit of a waste. It does take a bit of trial and error figuring out how much pressure to apply. Sometimes those errors can result in a compromised skin barrier. I've been thinking of switching to a chemical exfoliator such as PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliatorso I can use it a bit more often and get the same or maybe even better results. Having oily skin, I feel like it looks and feels dull more quickly. Overall, FOREO - LUNA play isnt a bad product. It's just not the product for me. I didn't see the skin changing results that others were claiming they achieved and for the normal retail price of $40 for only 100 uses, it seems a bit steep. It does make my skin feel soft, but like I said, I think I can get that feeling from something better. If you want this kind of product - go for it! But I would spend a bit more money and get a better option from this company like a rechargeable tool.
Photo 1 - AM Routine CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I LOVE this cleanser. Its super gentle and makes my face feel incredibly clean. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This product has definitely helped me control my sebum production resulting in clearer, smaller looking pores on my nose. This is the reason I got this serum so this makes me happy! I also feel like it helps me clear our my breakouts faster. Its a little tacky feeling when its sinking into your skin, but it does go away-just give it some time! Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream This moisturizer is great for my oily skin. It sinks in really well and feels great on my skin. It doesn't feel greasy at all, just feels like water. The only con I have is that it doesn't seem to keep my face hydrated all day long. It does keep it hydrated for the majority of the day though so its not such a big deal to me. There is no added fragrance or dye like the normal water-gel version. sun bum - Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 I am not gonna lie, I've only recently started wearing spf. (I know, I know. I'm still semi-new to good skincare) I dont have much to compare it to, but this doesn't seem all that bad. It does leave a bit of a greasiness, but I also feel like it's not that bad. It doesn't leave a white cast. It does smell like a tropical beach, kinda coconut-y, but I do not mind that at all and neither does my skin. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50I just got this product the other day so I dont have a rating yet. So far, it feels similar to the moisturizer, just a bit thicker. This leaves no white cast at all. Photo 2 - PM Routine GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying This product is awesome! It really helps remove makeup and spf without any kind of harsh rubbing. CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Read above Radience Labs Collagen and Retinol Serum - Couldn't find this product on here, but I honestly don't know that it's doing much. My skin doesn't hate it, but I dont think I will repurchase it. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream Safe for Sensitive Skin This stuff is UNIQUE! It has bubbles on the top of it with a thick gel/cream moisturizer below. It feels great on the skin. It really feels like air! It soaks in quickly and feels very moisturizing. It feels thicker in the tub than it does on the skin. The only problem for me is that my cheeks seem to burn/tingle at first. My cheeks are the most sensitive part on my face, but once it soaks in, it feels fine. Simple - Water Boost Skin Quench Sleep Cream This really keeps my face hydrated all night long without waking up incredible oily. Photo 3 - Exfoliator FOREO - LUNA playI'll have another post in depth later. Sorry for the long post, but thanks for sticking with me! I am looking to change to a chemical exfoliator.

Foreo Luna Mini 3 - Worth It?
Hi all! I know what your probably thinking: What is this thing? Do I need this thing? Is this thing worth the money ($159 on Amazon)? Or is this thing just super gimmicky? Well it’s an electric facial cleansing brush, you probably don’t neeeed it, but it’s kinda worth it if you’re a clean freak like me... who happens to like gimmicks from time to time if they WORK! FOREO - LUNA mini 3 The Foreo Luna Mini 3 is the second cleansing brush I’ve owned after my 6-year-old Clarisonic finally died (RIP). I have to say though, I much favor my Foreo to my old Clarisonic. What really makes it a no-brainer is the fact that you don’t have to replace any brush heads. I swear, my Clarisonic would sit in my drawer for months because I kept putting off purchasing new heads for it. Life happens and you just forget to do it (or maybe it was the intrinsic resentment for the device for the fact that I had to purchase any new heads at all). It’s annoying! And defeats the whole purpose of having it if I’m not even using it. I need something that’s easy, functional, and low maintenance and the Foreo is exactly that. The Foreo Luna Mini 3 is made of antibacterial silicone that just needs a good rinse when you’re done! The silicone bristles are wonderful on this device. I love how there are thicker ones on the back and a “cascading” thickness on the front. It gives you those options! It really feels like your cleanser can “get in there” for that optimum clean. The charge on it also lasts forever. In fact, I haven’t charged it ONCE since purchasing. I’ve read that users have only charged their device twice in a SINGLE YEAR! I love that because again, I like to keep things like this as low maintenance as possible. The Foreo Luna also comes in larger size, but I personally think the Mini is perfect and easier to maneuver on the face. Love the Mini too for travel! It fits right in my toiletry bag with all my other necessities, no problem! My one criticism I do have for the Foreo is the shape — it’s shaped like a puck, so sometimes it feels difficult to really get in there around my nose area. You just have to angle it in a certain way to get in those hard to reach areas, which is fine, but could be better! I know some people were also critiquing the app you need to download to activate the device (and also change the vibrate intensity). The app is okay, haven’t had any problems, but I can see where that would annoy people. Not a big deal at all though! Kinda think it’s awesome that you can customize the vibrations anyway! All together, I absolutely love my Foreo Luna Mini 3. I use it every day and night with my cleanser and if I ever skip it, I typically regret it. It really makes me feel that much cleaner on my face, especially when you’re someone like me who deals with clogged pores and built up oiliness. That said, it IS expensive for a cleansing brush ($159, ouch) and maybe you don’t need it, but I totally feel a difference using it.

Got everything it promises and even more!😍😍
I used to be skeptical about exactly how much of a difference using a Foreo would have but now that I've tried it, I don't think I can go back to washing my face without it.My skin feels so amazing and smooth and I've only been using it for a week. I've seen a lot of others saying that it's helped reduce breakouts significantly too. It's a little finicky when you first get it set up, since you need to "unlock your device" by holding down the + and - button, and there are some care tips that should be read through in the online manual but once you get through that, it's all pretty intuitive. I use this once a day with a foaming cleanser. I've used several different ones with it and they've all been fine. I think you're supposed to use it twice a day but I forget, and anyway doing it once has been alright for me. I don't know if this really exfoliates so much, as a face brush/Clarisonic would, but it definitely tones the skin. Another thing it does, and this might be TMI but I'd want to know if I was considering buying one, is that it loosens all those little sebaceous filaments that sit in your pores so that next time you use your cleansing oil they just pop right out and your skin suddenly looks amazing.I'm not going to pretend that I know how this machine works but I know that it does. My skin is smoother, firmer, brighter and more clear. I don't know how this compares to the new LUNA 3 series, but between this Mini and the Play series or the Go series, I definitely prefer the Mini. It's a nice size to grip and still has all the features I want. The only downside is it misses out on the anti-wrinkle pulse but that's not too much of a problem. At this point I think I might get the rest of my family also converted onto Foreo!
Is a Foreo worth the money?? 👀
What is it? A cleansing device made with silicone bristles that sends 8,000 TSonic(tm) pulsations per minute to clean away dirt, oil, makeup, and any impurities in your pores. The pink is for normal skin, the purple is for sensitive, and the blue is for combo skin. I got the normal because the smaller bristles seemed like the best fit for me. There is an app that is used to register the device and change any settings on your device (goes up to level 15 for pulsating speed). The texture of the Luna 3 are small silicone bristles that deep clean your skin without being harsh. It provides a gentle yet effective clean. Also because it is silicone it is very hygienic! My thoughts 💭 She is expensive. I got her for black friday (about $40 off), so I have had it for almost a year. And let me tell you. It took me 1 week for me to decide this was my favorite purchase of 2019. I have pretty acne prone skin, I workout daily, I have clogged pores and never in my life have I had this smooth and soft of skin. I do feel as if my pores are smaller just because they look cleaner. The surface area on this device is what made it so appealing to me. My problem area is my cheeks when it comes to acne so being able to clean the problem area of my face efficiently and effectively is a plus. I am not 100% if others have had a similar experience, but I almost feel like this cleans so well that it has made my skin purge in some way. I love this cleansing device! Final takeaways 🗣 If you have clogged pores and are looking for a deeper clean, look no further! It leaves you super soft, smooth, and clean. I thought I was crazy for spending $160 on a cleansing device, but many of my skincare community friends recommended foreo! I also think it is a great investment because ONE charge lasts for over 600 uses. That is 2 cleanses a day for a year. There is also a warranty that comes with the device. Highly recommend, try to find it on sale! FOREO - LUNA 3 for Normal Skin #cheriepartner

The perfect tool for Lazy skincare.
Hey guys! I’m back with another skincare fav for this month. It’s my Foreo Luna Mini. I have honestly had this bad boy sitting in my cabinet and finally decided to really put her to use. Pairing it with my Kate Somerville Eradikate cleanser, she customizes my skincare experience. The gentle yet effective pulses have made a huge change difference in the tightness of my skin and keeping it clear. Compared to cleansing with my hands the pulses help with my usual morning puffiness in my eyes and cheeks. Usually when cleansing with my hands I’m left with a smooth canvas but the puffiness remains. 😩 I really don’t know why I haven’t used her sooner. On days where I don’t want to use my hands for cleansing my skin, I’ll go ahead and use her. Focusing on my problem areas such as my cheeks, chin and neck area she gets the job done. For the price just think of it as an investment towards your skin because it’s totally worth it. If you have one already, use her more often! You won’t regret it! ✨FOREO - LUNA mini
Night Routine p.1/2
Hello beautiful people! Now HERE is my night skin care routine. As you can notice, there’s a LOT MORE products that i let marinate on my skin before i sleep. I just feel like they help hydrate my skin more while I’m inactive. Whenever i wake up, i can see my face juicier and glowier! BIODERMA - Hydrabio H2O i work at a place where they require me to wear make up every shift, and i find that this micellar water removes my eye makeup really fast and easy! i like the hydrating one better because it doesn’t feel as stripping as the others. CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm i used to use makeup wipes to remove my makeup but then double cleansing was introduced to me! this is my first cleansing balm, and so far it’s doing the lord’s work! i find that it completely removes my face makeup faster and the facial massage that i do when i apply it makes the blood flow on my face better. if you’re oily, do not be afraid to try double cleansing! its main goal is to get rid of those oil based products by attracting it with...oil! well, balm, in this case. oil and water do not mix well together, so if you don’t double cleanse, there’s a good chance that there’s still some more makeup leftover on your skin trying to clog your pores. VICHY - Proeven Brightening Cleansing Foam after my cleansing balm, i go ahead with this cleanser right here! i rated it 3 stars because after using it for weeks, i still haven’t noticed anything different on my skin. what i like about it is that it doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped of moisture and hydration. this cleanser is more focused on evening out the skin tone. i can see how it’s a good aha/pha/bha starter product, though! i apply this with my fingers and gently massage my face for 30 seconds and then... FOREO - LUNA mini use this to finish my 1 minute (or more 😉) mark! at first i was skeptical about it. i thought it was just another skin care gimmick that no one really needs (like them jade rollers), but after buying and using it, i FELT the results almost instantly. after cleansing, i found that my skin felt smoother and softer. i could not believe the brujeria! it was easier to apply and smooth out products on my skin after this! cocokind - Rosewater Facial Toner as per my previous morning routine post, this toner will be my ride or die toner til the end (idk but for now it will be). thats all thank you. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Duo (+) i have been seeing some mixed reviews about this one here in Cherie. I’m on the “omg i love this it works!” side. i broke out at the start of summer and it saved me and my soul. It flattened out my pimples in like a week of using it! i usually just put this where i break out most (by my jaw line), and it never dried me out. a trick: i apply this while my skin still feels damp with my toner!
Best tool I own
This Foreo Luna 3 is the best technology tool I own. I love how I can use it to wash my face and also massage it. They have different options for different skin types. Pink color is for normal skin Blue is for combination skin Purple is for sensitive skin You can control Luna 3 with a foreo app and choose the intensity you want from 16 different ones. I dampen my face and apply my cleanser on Luna 3 and then start the device and use it in circular motions. By default timer shuts off after one minute and there is a pause every 15 seconds which means you can move to a different area on your face. I charge it once in 6-9 months, which is amazing. Invest in a cleansing tool!!
This has become my staple tool! After lots of research, I chose this brush because I knew I wouldn’t use it every day but more like 3-4 times a week so I didn’t mind if it was a stronger cleansing tool (unlike my FOREO - LUNA fofo which is more of a gentle cleansing tool). I’m using the clarisonic - Deep Pore Facial Cleansing Brush Head which is the one I typically repurchase. I invested in this cutie about 2 years ago and I’m so glad I made the purchase! It has multiple heads for different concerns and they recommend switching out the brush every 3. I said investment earlier in the post, because it is a financial investment to keep up with purchasing different heads that are usually $20. I got a starter pack on QVC that included the device, and 3 heads so almost a full year of use and I just recently found that they sell 2 packs of the heads for $30 on amazon! It’s important to switch out the brush on these devices to get the most of them for your skin 😊 are you looking to invest in a cleansing brush anytime soon?? 👇❤️

I got round to using these amazing Skincare Products :- 💗 IT Cosmetics - Bye Bye makeup cleansing balm. I bought this ages ago but had so many balms on the go I promised myself to save it till I had a couple empties. I stuck to my promise. This balm is just beautiful !! Melts instantly into an oil and melted away my makeup including my mascara effortlessly. . 💗 Foreo Current Body - I had been saving this UFO mask treat for a time that I could enjoy it. Today was the day. I am absolutely amazed at the experience I had with this. Honestly gobsmacked 😱🥰
