Are you dealing with butt acne? Read this!
-Hi! Thanks for reading me in advance. ✨- Buttne is a shorthand for butt acne. Which is a very common and uncomfortable skin condition so don’t feel bad about it. 😋 In addition of giving you a very bad bump in your butt it is also very painful and itchy as well. Butt acne is not usually the common acne, is a folliculitis. What is a folliculitis? Well, is a mild infection of the hair follicle that leads to pus pimples or red bumps. This non regular pimple are caused by a combination of your follicles getting blocked and a bacterial infection. Sometimes the causes are very gross, or they can be a “wait, really!?” 😳 If you keep your wet sweaty clothes after you hit the gym, then expect buttne. If you spend long hours sitting down, then this friction and irritation will cause those follicles to get clogged. If your case is wearing undies past their time, which is gross, but totally expect Buttne with this. Do not wear tight-fitting clothes too much either! This traps sweat and oil against your skin, which... you know what can happen. Let’s say you have these, well there is not problem with it. We got the solution! 😗 I suggest you to try these at home options to help your peach look better. 🙊 Try a salicylic acid body wash. This will help you to unclogged those pores by exfoliating your skin. You can also try to target your butt with a benzoyl peroxide body wash. This is very effective to treat acne and folliculitis because of its antimicrobial ingredients. You can also bright up acne marks with glycolic acid. Try to moisturize your butt with a lactic acid lotion whenever you get the chance. Don’t feel scare, this won’t clog your pores. If you shave, try to shave the right way. Don’t go against the grain of your hair. If these solutions or any other don’t work. Then a consultation with a dermatologist will help you more. :) I useful tip is to leave the acne medication sit on your skin for 8-10 minutes. This way it can penetrate the skin before washing it off. Maybe put the product before you step on the shower, shampoo your hair, condition your hair, maybe shave, sing some songs. And then wash it off :) Some good products for Buttne: PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Cream Cleanser PETER THOMAS ROTH - Max Complexion Salicylic Acid Pore Refining Pads skinfix - Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub Amlactin - Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion I hope this little info helps you out! Let me know if you try them, and which one worked for you! :) There is not shame on having Buttne. I myself have experience this and is totally normal! Enjoy your day! 🥰

Eczema & Dry Skin Products 💧
If you’re like me, you deal with dryness, patchiness, itchiness all over your body. This isn’t new to me - I’ve had eczema since I was 7 and it has flared up in many different ways and on different parts of my body since then. One of my major triggers for my flare ups is stress 😣 Unfortunately, once I get a flare-up, it can take me months before I’m able to get my skin calm and back to “normal” again. Two products that I started using religiously to help with my issues are the SkinFix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub & Babo Botanicals Fragrance Free Shampoo and Wash (there is an adult version but they share the exact same formula and the adult version is $5+ more than the baby product.) skinfix - Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub I really love this scrub for getting the dry skin off my body and helping to renew my skin cells. It issues bamboo crystals and AHAs to bulldoze through that rough skin and helps it to feel smooth af 😆 One of the only hiccups with this product, though, is those bamboo crystals. I feel they are a bit too sharp & rough and they have actually cut my skin in the past 🤭 if they switched to pumice or a finer crystal, this scrub would be absolutely perfect! But for now, it’s the best body scrub/exfoliation I have used to date. babo BOTANICALS - Sensitive Baby Fragrance Free Shampoo & Wash For Sensitive & Eczema-Prone Skin, EWG Verified I really do love this body wash, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for people with super sensitive skin. It is completely fragrance free and not harsh like other body washes can be (also can be used as a intimate wash for people with vulvas.) However, my one hiccup with this, is that I feel like I have to use A LOT of product to use on my entire body. But overall, is a great formula for those dealing with sensitivities, eczema, rosacea, sunburns, acne etc... A bit more on the pricey side ($20) but worth it IMO. What other products have you all used to combat body eczema and dryness? I would love other recommendations to try out! Let me know in the comments below 🖤🙌🏽

Say goodbye to bumpy skin!!
I’ve been using this duo for the past 2 weeks and the skin on the back of my legs & butt has never been more smooth! These are perfect for anyone who suffers from keratosis pilaris. The scrub is used 2-3x a week on dry skin and then washed off in the shower. Helps exfoliate the skin with a fine physical exfoliant but also includes glycolic and lactic acid to help brighten/smooth and help increase cell turnover. The particles are so fine this never causes any irritation on my skin. The only reason I am not giving the scrub 5 stars is because for the amount I use on my body the price seems kind of steep at 40$ CAD. This body cream is a DREAM. If you had to choose just one of these products I’d go with this. It has a rich creamy texture and has a natural AHA blend to help smooth out any bumpy textures but also gives amazing hydration. I noticed results after using this cream for only a few days! Will 100% repurchase this product. I sometimes will get a bit of acne on my butt/ behind my legs and this has helped clear it up!

Skin Concerns: Bumpy Skin
I have suffered from Keratosis Pilaris (KP) for many years, but I did not know what it was until recently. It is essentially a condition that makes your hair follicles on certain parts of your body get clogged with keratin. Therefore, I constantly have little bumps all over the front and back of my thighs. It is noticeable and causes me to constantly pick at my legs, so I knew I had to find something to combat it! The main thing most people (and my dermatologist) recommend is putting on a lotion that contains leave-on exfoliants that clear your pores of the keratin plugs. I have tried a few over the years, and these are my favorites! For a cost-effective option I would definitely go with the Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy Skin Lotion. It works very well and comes in a huge tub! Now, all of these lotions are pretty thick to apply, but this one is probably the thickest and the one that absorbs the worst. But, it is so much cheaper than the other options so I definitely still recommend it. The other two are a little thinner, but are about 5x more expensive than the Gold Bond (~$50). They both work very well as well! The key with these types of products is to use them consistently. If you just use it once a week it is not going to have the best results, you need to use it over time to see the bumps disappear!

Is your skin Fall ready?
As the summer heat and humidity slowly turn into cooler, drier air, the seasonal change in weather has a bigger impact on your skin than you may think. As the temperatures drop your skin is the first to feel it’s effects. To keep your skin balanced during cooler months, the first thing to change in your routine should be your daily moisturizer. Switch out your lightweight summer moisturizer for a richer barrier protecting option. Some of my favorite ingredients to look for are glycerin, ceramides, shea butter, jojoba oil, peptides, fatty acids, and hyaluronic acid. skinfix - Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream A rich and nourishing moisturizer clinically proven to moisturize and enhance radiance for healthy- looking skin. This moisturizer is my personal favorite and keeps my skin hydrated through the cooler months. My skin type is normal to dry and as much as I would like to recommend this moisturizer for everyone, it may feel greasy for oilier skin types. I love the rich, creamy texture as well as the hydration and barrier protection it provides for my skin. My favorite part is the pump top which provides an adequate amount of moisturizer so you’re not left guessing about how much you need, and most importantly the hygiene. You are not having to dip your fingers or worry about a little spoon to dip and cross contaminate. This product is fragrance- free, which is great for sensitive skin types, and vegan and cruelty- free. This moisturizer is a must try for your fall skincare routine. I gave this product four stars because as much as I love the moisturizer, the price is a dagger in the pocket. For 1.7oz of product you pay a hefty $50. Other then that it is a must try product, especially for the upcoming drier and cooler weather.

Moisturizing but greasy
Got this as a free sample from Sephora. I was super excited to try it, living in a harsh winter climate. Don’t get me wrong, this product does moisturize your skin well, but after I put it on, my face feels oily and greasy. Not so much in the winter, but definitely in the warmer months. I noticed best results when I put it on once a day, mainly at night. When I put it on morning and night, it was too much and my face was super oily and shiny. The good thing about this product is a little goes a long way. It is super thick, which might contribute to the oiliness it leaves behind. I am excited to try this product again in the winter.

Skinfix thoughts
𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫+ ⁣ ⁣ 𝘣𝘺 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘹⁣ ⁣ I received the Skinfix Lipid Boost 360 degrees eye cream in my January Trendmood V.2 (January) box, which I purchased. It is such a great formula - no scent, pump packaging, lightweight, yet moisturizing. It layers well under makeup for day and under/over any skincare at night. I used it everyday for over a month straight.⁣ ⁣ I was also really excited to try out the Foaming Oil Cleanser in the same line, which was kindly gifted by Skinfix. This is a beautiful formula! I don’t always do a double cleanse, and this is able to remove makeup and everything else on my face without drying out my skin. It doesn’t foam too much, and doesn’t leave the skin tight. It’s a very nice cleanser. ⁣ ⁣ Overall, I’m loving the new aesthetic of the brand. I love the pump packaging, it’s clean and functional. I love that the formulas are non irritating, and without any fragrance. I have normal skin that leans oily during the summer and dry during the winter, and I can see these products transitioning seamlessly into warmer months. I can’t wait to see what else they release!⁣ ⁣ The oil cleanser was a pr sample.

Happy hands day and night
This last year I started getting eczema so bad on my knuckles, knees and elbows. Oils just weren’t doing the trick. These two hand creams have been seriously saving my hands from cracking and bleeding. They’re on totally opposite ends of the spectrum if you’re comparing. First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream is like the og hand cream you would imagine. Smooth, white texture, leaving just the slightest bit of oily residue, packed with dimethicone to lock in the moisture. Skinfix eczema hand repair cream is more like the og’s hippy aunt, but you wouldn’t tell from the packaging. It’s smooth balm-like texture leaves more of a matte finish, and smells more naturals delicious. Dimethicone free! I have been using the ultra repair cream overnight, and the eczema cream during the day. I wish I would have taken a before photo, because my hands look incredibly different.. in a good way.

Hand creams review
Today I be reviewing about hand creams which is basically a moisturizer for your hand l when you washing your hand and drying them you want to put a hand cream to make sure your hand is soft or don’t have the drying effect from the soap etc. So I have 3 products here Neutrogena - Hand Cream, Fragrance Free Which is very good for super dry hand a nurse bought me this when I was in the ICU for 2 months due to kidney complications but I’m fine now thank god! I have a problem with picking my cuticles is a force of habit and the medications I took can dry out my skin. This hand cream is like Vaseline but lightweight and creamier while Vaseline is very thick and don’t rub on easily. Neutrogena hand cream can also be used for elbows, knees, lips, and face anywhere your dry skin need helps according to the package on the back. I really love this and I would buy it again. skinfix - Eczema+ Hand Repair Cream This is the one I love the most because unlike the Neutrogena is still make my cuticle there and I still pick my cuticles with neutrogena. This one make your cuticles so soft that you don’t even know it there, and make your hand 100% softer than neutrogena. However, unlike neutrogena this product is used for hand eczema, and dermatitis. I was skeptical of buying this when I was at Sephora but tell the cashier I want to get this too (lol) I can’t resist cause I do have bumpy GA dermatitis rash on my hands and this help so so much! And allure awarded this product. Definitely a much have it had no fragrance, made with 1% collioidal oatmeal, and 5% Sweet Almond oil and etc. Last, I had a hand cream from bath and body work I give this a 3 stars is very hydrated however it do have fragrance smell like orange lotion. It does leave skin very smooth the fragrance doesn’t bother me but I won’t recommend for anyone who allergic to fragrance.

But for personal preference, I like the Ordinary niacinamide+zinc so much better. It helps, just like the Skinfix, calm irritated skin but at the same time, treats hyperpigmentation. I find it superior over this. ⁣ ______________________________⁣ ⁣ 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐲? sells at sephora for $50/ 50ml 🤯⁣ ~ TO niacinamide+zince serum is only $10.60 for 60ml ⁣ ⁣ 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Crack in lips that didn’t go away for years...
To understand me.... I am an average person that eats an average blah diet. I began getting this big crack in the middle of my bottom lip YEARS ago. It will bleed over night and it’s very painful. It is YEAR round. I have tried everything : Vaseline, chapsticks, nipple cream, regular lotion, vitamin B12 pills, other vitamins, lots of water... I’d given up. I got this as a sample in a Sephora box sample set. I used the products one night and thought “what the hell” - I put a decent amount of this on my lips. It didn’t sting or burn - something I usually endure when I put stuff on my lips. I went to bed with zero expectations. I woke up and saw a visible difference - it hadn’t cracked or bled during the night. I repeated and the next day was very happy with the results. I use it weekly now. My lips have no bled since I first used this product. If I used it daily I would have gorgeous lips perfect for matte lipsticks but I’m trying to save this product (and let’s be real I get lazy) Try this !skinfix - Barrier+ Lip Repair Balm

SkinFix Lip Balm for dry, chapped lips
I have typically oily skin with the occasional breakout and dry spot, but has been more dry lately due to the weather. My lips are one of the place that feels the dryness the most, so I constantly am wanting to try new lip balms to try and help. This claims to be a lightweight lip balm that is deeply nourishing that smooths, softens, and banishes dry lips on contact. I got this in a pack of - that had various scents/flavors and was on clearance at Ulta and needed a certain amount to get a gift with purchase, so I decided to give these a try. This is the fragrance free version, so no scent. I wanted to love this, but it’s easily the worst lip balm I’ve ever tried. It was so thick and hard to get out of the tube, plus even harder to spread across your lips. Whenever you managed to that, it literally just sat on top of your lips and moved around whenever I moved my lips, so it gets in your mouth. I would put this on at night and wake up in the morning with this still just sitting on my lips and my lips still chapped. I didn’t like this product at all, I don’t want a lip balm that just sits on my lips. I wouldn’t recommend this at all because you get no hydration at all, just your lips feeling the same way. This isn’t worth any sort of money because it does nothing. skinfix - Barrier+ Lip Repair Balm Price: $6.99 for 3 pack Rating: 1/5

I have some mini reviews ready today!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The first is the GOOD MOLECULES - Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches They tend to send me their new launches, and I’ll admit I was waiting by the door for these. They don’t slide around on my face, aren’t sticky, and the essence sinks in pretty fast. My undereyes look plump when I use these, like I’ve gotten the most sleep imaginable. Would totally recommend these, as they only run about $18 for 30 pairs.⁣ ⁣ The next three mini reviews are some products from skinfix that I have been using — TLDR; they’re all great for dry skin. The Lipid Boost Jelly is one of the best hydration serums I’ve ever used, and the dermatitis face balm is incredible on my dry patches and flare ups. Last but not least, the 911 ointment is an all-purpose salve that I use on everything, from dry hands to itchy legs, random bumps on my chest or arms or cracked feet!⁣ ⁣ These were all gifted by the brands with no strings attached!

How-To: Heal and Protect Skin After Picking! ❤️
Skin picking generally affects most of us. From popping one pimple, scratching an eczema patch too hard, or dermatillomania, many of us have experienced the dread of making a pimple worse than it was before. These are some of my favorite products, tips and tricks for healing skin and keeping it safe during this gentle state. After the deed is done, it’s important to avoid actives and wash with a very gentle cleanser. My preferred is Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser due to the minimal and skin healing ingredients list, lack of fragrance and no harsh stripping feeling. I wash for 60 seconds and rise with cool water, patting dry very gently with a microfiber towel. Next, I ice my skin for around four minutes to bring down the swelling and inflammation (similar to icing a burn or a sprained ankle). I constantly move the ice cube as facial skin is delicate, but concentrate it in areas that I picked or that experience redness and inflammation or pain. Bonus tip: you don’t have to just use water. Freeze green tea and aloe cubes for the added bonus of healing and inflammation fighting ingredients. After icing, I use a gentle hydrating toner. The key is to introduce humectants (hydrated skin is happy skin) and other inflammation fighting ingredients like green tea and COQ10 (an antioxidant) to the skin to help the healing process start immediately. I then layer on my favorite moisturizer or oil— use something you trust with no essential oils, drying ingredients, actives or fragrance. My fav is pure jojoba oil, it’s super gentle, pure, and antimicrobial, with no additives. It leaves my skin healthy and supple, as it has high amounts of vitamin A and E. It locks in the hydration I’ve added with the toner, and acts as a gentle occlusive. Furthermore it doesn’t overwhelm my picked skin with additives that burn and sting. Lastly, I layer on a variety of thicker products in areas that need it to heal my skin depending on the damage. If the pimple is still active, I use a peach slices - Acne Spot Dots to keep it clean from further bacteria and to suck any remaining gunk out. If I have scabs or scratches, I use either skinfix - Eczema+ Dermatitis Face Balm or TOPICALS - Like Butter Hydrating Mask which both employ collodial oatmeal along with other barrier repair ingredients to heal, hydrate, and further protect skin.

Skinfix part 2!
Skinfix part 2!
My last post I talked about the Skinfix Resurface lotion and this post is about the scrub! This scrub is meant to be used right before you get in the shower as a dry scrub in a circular motion wherever you feel like you need it! I like to scrub it on my arms and sometimes my legs to get that extra exfoliating before shaving. This scrub feels gentle but rough at the same time & doesn’t irritate and comes off so nicely in the shower and leaves your skin so soft immediately. Pair this with the lotion & you should see it working it’s magic soon 🤩 P.S haven’t had them long enough to speak on the results but will update soon! skinfix - Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub

Hard Feelings for Skinfix
I was really excited to try this product which I had revived just a few weeks ago, but so far I haven't received any of its benefits. However, I am giving it the benefit of the doubt as my skin isn't super pale to which all redness manifests. Skinfix claims this would calm and soothe inflamed skin as well as retract redness. I will say I felt some calm to the skin but I want to continue to see how long this would take to get results. For the price, I am not sure if I would find it worth it as I think irritation and redness can probably be fixed with a good routine that would cost equivalent to this one product. The texture is lightweight and I do like it's hydrating properties. At this time, I do not think I'd recommend this product.

I’m almost out of this lil guy who has remained in my purse since I got this. It’s the skinfix - Eczema+ Hand Repair Cream that I got in the skinfix - Brrrrrrier+ Kit which was the cutest gift set ever!! This hand cream is meant for those who suffer from eczema, but I loved this for overall dryness. There’s no scent or added fragrance, just simply hydrating/moisturizing. This hand cream works wonders & im already almost out of this lil guy! Would definitely recommend & would forsure repurchase💙✨

skinfix - Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream Fantastic cream for normal/dry skin! I love how thick and creamy it is, especially at night, yet it doesn't pill at all, even when layered over serums. (though it might be a bit heavy for those with combination skin) I also appreciate the pump-top packaging, as it keeps things hygienic and takes the guessing out of how much to use per application- you really only need two pumps to cover the entire face and neck!

Nothing is worse than an irritated, inflamed, itchy, red, bumpy, painful damaged skin barrier! Here are my holy grail products for healing, soothing & protecting my skin’s moisture barrier when it’s damaged! I first always like to use a soothing, hydrating sheet mask to supercharge my skin with moisture. This always provides some instant relief! I love the sheet masks from Abib, Knours, Tony Moly & anything I get on FaceTory. Then my literal skin SAVIOR is the Krave Great Barrier Relief. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 SLATHER IT ON, BABY! This is a powerhouse of healing & restorative ingredients: tamanu oil, safflower oil, rosehip seed oil, NMF + ceramides, phytosterol, squalane & niacinamide. ⠀ ⠀ A rich cream made with ceramides or lipids is a MUST. Your skin’s moisture barrier is made up of lipids, so these creams help restore what has been diminished & replenish your barrier. My favorites are: 💧CosRX Honey Ceramide Full Moisture Cream 💧Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream 💧Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream 💧Skinfix Barrier+ Lipid-Boost 360 Eye Finally I love a good balm or oil to lock everything in. I’m loving Taui Balm because it just has 4 soothing ingredients: honey, propolis, olive oil & beeswax. ⠀

skinfix - Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub This scrub is one of my favorites for body and occasionally on my face! It’s grittier than most fave scrubs but I love glycolic and lactic acid so when I decide to use it on my face, I let it sit there under the shower and then gently rinse off. It’s definitely great for neck and body and that’s what it is intended for. It helps me prevent any body acne and also has a lot of product for what you’re spending!
