This cruelty free serum with Strawberry fruit & seed extract & kakadu plum is amazing. I’m few pumps away from emptying and ready for a full review💯 It has a liquid like gel texture & soothes into skin in few seconds. It’s hydrating on skin especially if you layer with a medium thickness moisturizer✨ I use this on my night routine. Sometimes vitamin c products irritate my skin but this didn’t irritate my skin at all. It’s super gentle🥰 After finishing this bottle, I’m certain I will reach for another. I noticed a significant difference in my redness & my skin looks less dull☁️ Have you tried this serum? What’s your thoughts? #CherieCreator VOLITION - Strawberry-C Brightening Serum
Strawberry-C Brightening Serum Worth the $$ 🍓?
According to Volition, this product helps “boost collagen production and controls excess oil to reveal radiant, glowing skin”. 🍓 also contain antioxidants, and mixed with Kakadu plum — which is also high in vitamin C— this serum also helps reduce redness and unclog pores. This also contains hyaluronic acid :) VOLITION - Strawberry-C Brightening Serum This serum is suitable for all skin types. My skin type is normal. After using it I do notice my skin looking healthy and hydrated but I have yet to see much in terms of brightening. You can use this serum both morning and night but I usually use it in the AM. I find it layers well with other serums because it so lightweight. All you need is a pea-size amount. The one downside of this serum is that it does not smell like strawberries. It contains cucumber water and smells light cucumber to me. It’s a little misleading but the smell isn’t over powering at all. This product retails for $60 CAD which is quite expensive for a serum in my opinion. I’m giving it 4 stars because I like that it’s hydrating but haven’t seen many results in terms of brightness. However, this may be a good product for those with sensitive skin and hyperpigmentation of scarring. I don’t think I love this product enough to repurchase given the price and having used more effective brightening vitamin C serums, but that doesn’t mean I’m not enjoying it. I do like the hydration aspect.

Must-haves for acne -prone and sensitive skin
Volition is a brand that caught my attention recently. It doesn't contain allergenic ingredients and is friendly to those with acne-prone and sensitive skin.👍 First, their serum. VOLITION - Strawberry-C Brightening Serum It absorbs quickly and is not greasy at all. It is very refreshing and is suitable for oily skin types. But after I bought it home and used it for a while, I found some faults: It's a bit sticky when I apply too much and it started balling up when I used other products after using it.😢 Its vitamin C concentration is not high so I'll use other vitamin C powders with it. Their celery green cream VOLITION - Celery Green Cream with Hyaluronic Acid + Peptideshas a good reputation online. I've been using it for a while now and I highly recommend it. I find the texture just as refreshing as the name and it's not greasy at all. It's also super moisturizing, which is perfect for my skin. I will definitely repurchase it! 😍
Celery Green Cream 🥬🥒
My last post was featuring avocado and now I’m on to my veggies featuring VOLITION - Celery Green Cream with Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides ! This moisturizer “purifies and helps improve hydration retention for poreless, healthier-looking skin,” as mentioned on Sephora’s website. I started using this mask back in November because I wanted to prepare for the winter cold seasons approaching the east coast. I won this from a super generous giveaway and since then it’s been one of my favorite creams! I have oily combo skin but during the winter months I experience dry patches and need extreme hydration as soon as possible. This cream has a thicker consistency and a lovely scent that reminds of a green juices! Hence, my emojis for this product! There is not an exact celery emoji but this green leaf veggie was the closet thing to it. And in addition to celery, this product has cucumber extract as well 🥒. This moisturizer is a green juice for your face and guess what, my face is here to drink it up! This product retails for $55.00 and brings 1.7oz. In my opinion it is pretty expensive item but it’s an effective one. My two cents are always if you can afford it and if it’s in your budget, then go ahead and spoil yourself. If not, there are other face products that hydrate just as well! I never want to be a person that pushes expensive problems to peers, so y’all can decide what is worth to splurge on! If y’all have used it, let me know your thoughts! 💚💚💚

Beauty Bakerie - Breakfast in Bed Eyeshadow Palette cool toned. Love it! Better formulas out there but it’s not bad at all. Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser not sure how I like it yet so will update after using it more. Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara very dry and doesn’t separate or lengthen well. Essence mascaras are better. VOLITION - Snow Mushroom Water Serum it’s not bad. Only have used it once so far. Doesn’t feel hydrating like serums from Pacifica but will keep using it to see in am how my base looks. bodyography - Eye Pencil not number one but not bad either. Not a “gliding” as urban decay but better than cheaper brands. I’m privy to my KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Cake Pencil Eyeliner and MILANI - Stay Put Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil but always down to try a new brand. Last but not lease INT lip oil. I’m not into the wet lip look so gave it to my daughter who is a gloss freak and she’s in love. Not sticky but stays put for a good bit. Tastes good nice color. Minimum color but perfect for anyone really.
november boxycharm 😍
i know i’m a little late posting this — i’m sorry! i just signed up for boxycharm last month, so i got my november box on one of the last days of the month. i wanted to do a little unboxing post and show you guys what’s inside! i haven’t gotten the chance to play with everything yet, but believe me, there will be lots of first impressions and reviews to come! i’m also waiting on an order from ulta and an order from the boxycharm pop up shop, so i’ll have TONS of new stuff to talk about 😍 first thoughts of boxycharm: these items were packaged super well! nothing was damaged at all, and the whole aestethic is very pleasing to the eye. inside there was a super cute card that lists all the products and their retail values. i also received a coupon for 25% off the natasha denona website! i’m definitely excited to see what products i get in the coming months! so, what was in november’s box?! #Natasha Denona - Peak Palette[products]# i’ve never owned anything by natasha denona, so i was super excited for this! it’s a five pan, warm toned eyeshadow palette. retails for $48. VOLITION - Snow Mushroom Water Serum i’ve never heard of this brand, but i’m excited to try out this product! it claims to reduce the appearance of pores and leave your skin looking healthier. retails for $62. Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara again, i’ve never owned any milk makeup products, but i’ve only heard good things. i LOVE a good waterproof mascara, so i’m hoping this one works well! retails for $24. #int cosmetics - Lip Oil[products]# another brand i’ve never heard of! i’ve recently discovered lip oils (specifically the sugar rush mini by tarte), and i’m in love. i have a chapstick obsession, so it makes sense that i’d love lip oils. retails for $11. #alamar cosmetics - pero primero, primer! long wear sticky pigment base[products]# i’ve been on the hunt for a good eyeshadow primer, so i can’t wait to give this one a shot. it claims to be water resistant and moisturizes your eyelids while keeping your eyeshadow in place. retails for $15. total value of november box: $160 i did receive a bonus for signing up! ELOISE - The Queen Eyeshadow Palette i’ve heard such good things about this palette, and it’s SO beautiful 😍 i can’t wait to play around with this one! retails for $51.

Let’s talk—Celery Green Cream
This oil-free moisturizer contains HA and celery seed extract to help improve the over-all complexion of the skin while plumping the skin to provide soothed and calm skin! I received this in a FFF box and usually I am very cautious of what moisturizers I use on my face because I am oily and acne prone! This lightweight moisturizer has been the ticket for me! I use a beauty spatula to spoon this from the container to keep the inside of this moisturizer as sterile as possible. Before and after each use of the spatula I clean it with an alcohol swab. I find this helps keep my oily skin at bay when I wear this with makeup. However, when I do not wear makeup, this moisturizer doesn’t help my oily skin. I think this is a great moisturizer for all skin types and this smells very clean. It has not caused me to breakout and I have been using this consistently for 2 months now! VOLITION - Celery Green Cream Beauty retails for $55 and lasts a long time. I’ve made a small dent in this and think it will last me into 2021! If you can afford this, go for it! Otherwise, there are other great moisturizers out there for a fraction of the cost while still providing great results.
Does FOOD belong in SKINCARE or SMOOTHIES?🍑🥬🍯
Fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients that we consume are commonly used in marketing for skincare products, claiming certain benefits. But do all natural foods belong in skincare? See for yourself 😉 🍯 Honey : anti-inflammatory, balances bacteria, speeds up healing of the skin. Often used in products for combatting acne. Very effective, but you should try not to smear raw honey on your face as it could clog your pores if not properly treated. Farmacy is famous for its line of products that effectively use honey! My favorite is FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum which chemically exfoliates while also soothing and moisturizing to prevent irritation. 🥬 Celery : Ingesting celery juice is the latest trend in health and wellness, because it has such a high water content (over 95%) and contains antioxidants including vitamin C. However, adding celery to skincare is likely just a marketing trick, as it likely only adds some extra water to the product, and the antioxidant content likely needs to be boosted with other forms in order to get the best effect. The VOLITION - Celery Green Cream Beauty is hydrating enough for a day cream, but I don’t think including celery makes it all that revolutionary. 🍵 Matcha : Powerful antioxidant and antibiotic. The chlorophyll which makes matcha such a bright green actually helps to convert sunlight to energy and therefore protect our skin from photo-aging. The ECGC compound in matcha is also anti-bacterial and is very helpful for fighting and soothing acne. The Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is easily my favorite cleanser due to how gentle and effective it is! 🍑 Peach : Anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, promotes skin metabolism, anti-bacterial, and antioxidant. The leaves contain amino acids, flavanoids, and tannins which are all very beneficial to skin health. The PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum utilizes peach extract for this lovely serum that my skin absolutely drinks up! The results are amazing so I can’t help but believe that peaches are wonderful for our skin! 🍊 Orange : antioxidant, exfoliating, high vitamin C content. Could be irritating to sensitive skin types, especially oils from the peel. This goes for basically any citrus fruit, but it is still a very commonly used ingredient in skin care due to its antioxidant properties. In small doses it can be very beneficial, and it smells great, such as in the OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser ! What do you think? Do foods belong in skincare? Whats your favorite food-ingredient? Let me know below!!👇🏼👇🏼

SPF Combo for Glowing Skin
MISSHA - Missha All-around Safe Block Essence Sun Milk This product has been my ride or die for about 5 months now. I bought this on a whim as the Purito ones were all sold out (...), and I was surprised at how much I liked this. this lasted me through the 30°C heat, and in the winter just in doors. I didn’t love the finish that it gave my skin, so i decided to start mixing these two as the Volition one gives a more glowy finish! VOLITION - Prismatic Luminizing Shield SPF 50 On its own, I don’t love the texture of this product. It’s very thick and feels like a typical all zinc sunscreen, but this one is a chemical, which is strange. Mixing them is a perfect medium, the texture evens out and it makes my skin look amazing!
Best Sunscreens Under Makeup!
Just because the weather is changing doesn’t mean we can slack off when it comes SPF the health of our skin! I used to neglect wearing SPF because I felt like it ruined my makeup, but thankfully I have found some really great options that wear really nicely under my foundation and tinted moisturizers. I have pretty normal/combination skin so I have quite a few formulas that I enjoy depending on how my skin is behaving. During the warmer months, when my skin is more on the oily side, I typically each for a mattifying SPF. One of my faves is the #Rodan + Fields - Invisible Matte Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30[products]#[FiveStars] It feels smooth and silky when applied, and it’s also clear which I love! It also helps keep my oils in check! Another summertime favorite is the BARE REPUBLIC - Face Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 First of all, I love Bare Republic’s sunscreens because they are reef friendly and contain no chemical sunscreen actives. I also love that it dries down to a powder finish, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. I use this sunscreen basically year round because it works when my skin is either dry or oily. Another year round fave is the PAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 I tend to reach for it pretty frequently because of its anti-aging benefits and also because of how lightweight it is! It absorbs into my skin super quickly also which is important when I’m in a hurry and don’t have much time to get ready in the morning. When my skin is on the dry side, I love using the VOLITION - Prismatic Luminizing Shield SPF 50 Not only does it protect my skin from harmful UV rays, but it also gives my complexion the prettiest glow. I love wearing it on makeup free days because of the radiance it adds to my complexion, but it also wears beautifully under makeup. It’s also really lightweight and breathable. Another great and super lightweight formula is the MyChelle dermaceuticals - Sun Shield Liquid SPF 50 I love that it evens out my complexion and adds a little bit of glow while still being a matte formula. It’s also blends into the skin really nicely! I’m a huge fan of Mychelle Beauty’s skincare products! Two of my newer SPF products that I have really been enjoying are the dermalogica - Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 Moisturizer and the JANMARINI - Antioxidant Physical Protectant SPF30 The Jan Marini sunscreen is water resistant so I love wearing it when I’m doing anything outdoors because I know I’m not going to sweat it off. It keeps my oils in check and has the added benefits of additional antioxidant protection. The Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery is also a great option because not only is it an SPF, but it’s also a really nice lightweight moisturizer. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn’t leave any type of residue on my skin either. #cheriecreator

The new hibiscus unspottable correcting oil is light weight dry oil designed to hydrate and brighten up the skin tone. The cocktail blend of hibiscus oil, Licorice root extract and sea buckthorn oil is rich in antioxidants and anti inflammatory agents, meant to reduce the look of reoccurring dark spots and post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. I posted a Q&A review on my stories, addressing your most asked questions about this oil✨ I’ll use it for the next few weeks and report back on its effects on my post inflammatory hyper pigmentation✨ VOLITION - Hibiscus Unspottable Correcting Oil
VOLITION HIBISCUS CORRECTING OIL
I wish I had a hibiscus flower to take a photo with this product! This is the Hibiscus Unstoppable Correcting oil by Volition Beauty! This beautiful little babe is packed with hibiscus oil 🌸, sea buckthorn oil and licorice root extract to bring some serious 💥💥 to your dark spots. Volition seriously has it goin on. First off the smell is MAGICAL, I can’t get enough of it. Second, this stuff isn’t oily AT ALL, which is impressive as it is an OIL. It goes on so smooth and sinks in so fast. I have been using it for the past two weeks or so and my face feels so hydrated and I can already see my dark spots fading away. VOLITION - Hibiscus Unspottable Correcting Oil

Volition vs. Lancôme, Guess Who WINS!🏅🏅🏅
Volition's Turmeric Brightening Scrub VOLITION - Turmeric Brightening Polish can be used as both a face scrub and a body scrub and is now one of my favorite scrubs! 😘 The Clean at Sephora series products are worth trying. I have sensitive skin so many popular skin care products actually cause a rash or acne to flare on my face!😥 This is why I always try products that come in small packaging first. This scrub contains turmeric, which scrubs off dead skin cells and brightens up the skin. It neither makes my skin feel tight nor does it irritate my skin. However, because of all the granules, you should be gentle when rubbing it in a circular motion. It only needs to be used once a week because it's also unhealthy for your skin if the cuticle layer becomes too thin. Being a famous brand doesn't necessarily mean that its products are of good quality. Lancôme's Rose Sugar Scrub LANCÔME - Rose Sugar Scrublooks a delightful pink, but it doesn't do much for me and isn't worth buying.🤔 It's better to test makeup and skin care products yourself because no matter how good the reputation of a product is or how popular the brand is, it may not suit you.
VOLITION - Turmeric Brightening Polish It is a face and body scrub that gently exfoliates to reveal your natural glow. It also helps tone and hydrate skin. It has Turmeric Extract to brighten, Olive and Sesame Oil to hydrate and soften, Sandalwood Extract to reduce inflammation and micronized Walnut Shell to exfoliate. This product is vegan and cruelty-free. It is for all skin types. The texture is quite grainy and it has no fragrance. It targets Uneven skin texture, Dry skin, Dry patches, Dullness, Hyperpigmentation, Blemish prone. I have used it for around 3 months. Personally I like this product. The polish is gentle enough and does a good job of exfoliating. I have not used it on my face, only on my arms and legs. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. I like turmeric in products. I have not seen any brightening effect though. I do recommend this product. But there can be other options for body scrub too which I have not tried yet. I like this scrub for being very gentle on my skin. The price is 38$ for 4oz which I think is reasonable.

ACV! 🍎 I can't even begin on the benefits of apple cider vinegar, especially for your skin! Acv has antimicrobial properties, so it's very effective in fighting bacterial growth and reducing breakouts. It, also, contains a few different fruit acids(including malic acids) that contribute into being a chemical exfoliant(AHA). This product works to resurface your skin, with light tingling and no irritation, so I can see it being okay for sensitive skin since they are so gentle! I love this product, because it has great ingredients, including acv, lemon and orange extracts(fruit ahas), Witch Hazel(removes dirt and oil, minimizes pores), and glycolic acid(aha). Super clean ingredients! While the smell may be a bit strong(it's vinegar, what did you expect), it doesn't linger at all! When I woke up the next morning after using it, my skin was super smooth, baby soft, and there was absolutely no texture in my skin at all! My skin looked so flawless and glowy😍 it instantly became a product that I love. *kindly gifted*VOLITION - Apple Cider Vinegar Resurfacing Peel Pads
Do you know your AHA's & BHA's? It's like the alphabet, but better. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) exfoliate the top layer of your skin without using a physical object (ie: walnut scrub *shudders*). These acids come in a variety of types: Lactic, Glycolic, and Citric to name a few. These acids all help to reduce fine lines, smooth texture and assist in fixing the effects of sun damage. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHA's) are typically found as Salicylic Acid and help lessen breakouts and blackheads. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Together these chemical exfoliants help decrease fine lines, acne scars, and other damage to the skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My favorite exfoliators lately have been:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Farmacy Honeymoon Glow - an overnight serum that resurfaces your face while you .. sleep. Like, sign me up for the easiest way to get smooth skin!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Volition Apple Cider Vinegar Resurfacing Pads - these things are so great! I take them with me on trips and they help my skin stay fresh and smooth. I can't go without these pads!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PaulasChoice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is the holy grail for most skincare aficionados for daily exfoliation. It unclogs pores, diminishes wrinkles, and evens out my skin tone. It. Works. End of story.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Like an at home facial ✨
✨ The Volition Beauty Detoxifying Silt Gelee Mask is definitely one of my holy grail masks. ✨ I’ve been using this mask for about 6 months and have absolutely LOVED it. Unlike a lot of detoxing masks, is a gel texture and leaves my skin without feeling over dry like many clay detoxing masks. It comes in a pretty decent sized jar, is a bouncy gel formula and is a very interesting and unique mud color. It’s made of black silt, squalane, and jojoba oil. It’s vegan, gluten free, and cruelty free. It cleanses, removes debris and gunk, and leaves you feeling clean and refreshed. I’ve never found it to be drying or irritating, and have loved every single use. 👏🏼 A thin layer of this mask makes me feel like my whole life is okay 😂. The package comes with two round sponges to help you work the product around and removed while providing a gentle and simple physical exfoliation. I LOVE taking this mask off and feeling so soft, smooth, and CLEAN after. It’s gentle, non irritating, and effective. A real winner in my opinion. The application and removal of this mask truly feels like an at home spa experience and boy do I love that. Looking forward to getting this back in my life soon. ✨ VOLITION - Detoxifying Silt Gelee Mask
a very sad empty
VOLITION - Detoxifying Silt Gelee Mask was one of the cutest minis but most importantly, it’s something I would repurchase in the future! I have normal skin type but I am prone to dry patches and oily patches occasionally. This mask is good for all of that and then some! I got this as part of a giveaway prize and I’m debating getting a full size. Claims; — detoxifying — hydrating — clarifying Key Ingredients: — silt — squalane — jojoba oil — quinoa protein My thoughts: — much more hydrating than any clay or detox mask I’ve ever used. It didn’t dry out on me or crack like most of them do! — gel texture, kind of goopy and takes some effort to adhere to skin. But worth the effort! — I legit hate the color of this but I will get over it because of the results: clearer skin and hydrated skin. — moisturizing but also heals my dry spots! So it’s got some insane power. — $60 for the full size, but the mini got 4-5 uses so I’d say it’d last a while! — 5/5 will recommend to anyone except oily skin.
In my neverending search for the perfect eye cream, I’ve discovered Helix AM/PM Eye Gel by Volition beauty. I’ve been using it for a couple of months and I’ve really been enjoying it. In particular, the texture is so beautiful and smoothing. It has a cushiony softness to it that feels so luxurious. I love using it during the day, under makeup. This gel is crazy hydrating, but feels super lightweight. I’m still on the hunt for my ideal evening eye cream, but for daytime, Helix checks all of the boxes.

Let’s talk about @volitionbeauty Strawberry-C 🍓 . I won’t be doing a full review on this one (I actually got it for my sister but couldn’t resist snapping a few shots 📸). So, I wanted to take a quick minute to evaluate the ingredient list. I won’t discuss every ingredient but let’s look at some of the major ones… (#’s indicate position in ingredient list) . 1️⃣&2️⃣Water & Cucumber Water - provide hydration and act as a solvent for other skin-loving ingredients! 3️⃣Glyerin - a humectant that helps to draw moisture to the surface of your skin. 4️⃣Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate - a preservative that is derived through the fermentation of radish roots. It appears surprisingly high on the ingredient list considering the manufacturer suggested usage rate is 2-4%. 5️⃣&6️⃣Strawberry Seed Extract & Strawberry Fruit Extract - arguably the hero ingredients of the product; strawberries are known to be very high in Vitamin C. Interestingly, I cannot find a single piece of literature that specifies the concentration of Vitamin C actually present Strawberry Seed or Fruit Extract but it’s safe to assume there is at least some. 🔟 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid: a modified version of Ascorbic Acid (aka. pure Vitamin C). It is more stable in comparison but lacks the depth of research supporting it’s benefit in skincare. That being said, it has been shown effective in combating hyperpigmentation. The serum also contains 9️⃣ Panthenol and 8️⃣ Sodium Hyaluronate both of which are great! While I don’t feel Strawberry-C is a necessary addition to my routine, I do think it’s a gentle, clean, user friendly serum perfect for my baby sis.

volition beauty Snow Mushroom Water Serum This serum is so light and lovely. Glides on like silk and leaves my skin feeling bouncy, hydrated, and smooth, with a slightly dewy finish that I absolutely love. It contains Snow Mushrooms—“nature’s sponges,” they say—which can hold up to 500 times their weight in water, locking in moisture for healthier-looking skin. Other ingredients of note: Marine Water for detoxification and minimization of pores; Watermelon & Apple Extracts, rich in Vitamins C & E for brightening; and Lentil Extract, rich in B5 for smoothing, soothing, and extra moisture-retention. This product has the Clean at Sephora seal, and is totally vegan, gluten-free, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, and noncomedogenic. I’ve only been using it for a short time, but I’m really enjoying how it makes my skin feel, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous—frosted glass with a rose gold top that becomes the dropper once you twist it. It’s a little pricey ($62) but if you’re looking for an extra punch of hydration in your routine, this could be it!

Volition Beauty Rose of Jericho Renewing Elixir
Introducing Rose of Jericho renewing elixir by Volition Beauty! Known as the resurrection plant, the rose of Jericho herb not only hydrates skin, but also helps it stay moisturized throughout the day/night. Additionally, it minimizes the look of fine lines, and overall brightens the complexion. It has a creamy liquid texture, so I've been applying it after thinner serums, but before my moisturizer, and my skin has really responded well to it! It hasn't been long enough to say if it actually diminishes fine lines, but it certainly makes my skin feel plump and dewy, and who doesn't want that? It also boasts powerhouse ingredients like peptides, collagen and hyaluronic acid to soothe the skin, as well as a blend of oils to nourish (including rosehip and jojoba, two of my favorites). At $72, it's not cheap, but considering how much it does, I'd say it could definitely be worth the investment, especially when you consider the fact that serums are said to be the best products to splurge on since they're most effective.
This OCEANENE YOUTH-BOOST GEL from volitionbeauty feels so good on my skin. It's not quite moisturizing enough for me to use alone, but I love using it under my moisturizer for a bit of a boost. It's packed with Brown Algae, Vit C and skincare powerhouse Hyaluornic Acid. . I had no clue but Brown Algae assists in collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis for hydrated, smoother, and improved skin. Maybe that's why mermaids have such great skin. 🧜🏻♀️

I want to post the volition Celery Green Cream which I just emptied💚. This cream has been one of my glowtoproducts (hashtag by allisonturquoise)☀️. It’s oil-free and mattifying which has been perfect for those really warm days. I’m definitely sad to see this one go and am considering re-purchasing, although since my skin is on the dry side I may go for something heavier.

The Importance of Finding Your Skin ConfidenceCherie creator @Chardeny shares how she found confidence through her skincare journey.Feb. 4
My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.3 DAYS AGO
