Brand Spotlight: BLISS
Bliss is one of my favorite affordable drugstore clean and cruelty free brand. They are easily accessible, you find them at: Ulta, CVS, Target and Bliss.com, etc. I can’t help but love everything that I’ve tried from them. Here are current favorites and must haves: Left to right: bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum A mixture between toner and serum this is an awesome toner that is alcohol free, vegan, and packed with skin calming and pore refining ingredients : BHA, niacinamide, zinc and cica. bliss - Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Moisturizer My day/ night cream depending on my mood and what serums I’m using. Sinks in the skin well and has great texture. bliss - Drench & Quench Moisturizer This is comparable to TATCHA - The Water Cream very lightweight but pack a lot of moisture. It leaves my skin feeling a bit tacky which I love as a base before my primer and make up. bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Moisturizer All times favorite basic moisturizer for day and night. I usually use this when either my skin has a break out and I have to go back to basics or when I’m using retinol or some other harsh serums. bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum If you are new to glycolic acids or AHAs this is a great beginner’s choice. For me I thought this quite a gentle formula... I didn’t feel any discomfort or irritation. bliss - Fabulips Lip Scrub This is my first lip scrub... so I don’t know if it’s good or not. It’s not bad. It’s moisturizing, exfoliating and didn’t taste bad. 😋 Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan Have you tried any of their product? Tell me your favorites below. Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful

Review on this baby
TATCHA - The Water Cream I got this sample from Sephora using my points. It has been laying around for a while, and I finally decided to give it a try a couple of weeks ago! I swear by my Lancôme creams, but I wanted to see what this hype is all about. - It feels lighter than my Lancôme facial cream. A little bit spreads so easily like water all over my face and neck. It has a nice scent to it. I thought it smelled like Eucalyptus oil, but it has Japanese wild rose and Japanese Leopard Lily. I have combination skin- I am only trying this during the day time, as it’s not creamy enough for night time use in Chicago cool weather. - The foundation spread very easily and looked flawless. At the end of the day- my face felt a little less shiny and less moisturized as opposed to my Lancôme cream. -Japanese Wild Rose is supposed to improve the look of pores. I do have some on my cheeks- but I didn’t really notice much difference. Most importantly! It did not break me out at all!! - So far, I still prefer Lancôme, but I can see this as a nice and less expansive alternative option in the summer. ❤️ Lancôme cream feels thicker and is more moisturizing- especially now with the cool weather! With this- I would have to wear a sunscreen. I have yet to find a sunscreen that does not break me out.

🤍Tiny Review for Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask
TATCHA - The Kissu Lip Mask This little jar of lip mask is what I've been looking for a while. This is more of a luxury item and an extra step to my routine, at least that is what I thought at first, but after trying this product and applying it every night I can tell how soft my lips feel now. The packaging is simple but beautiful which instantly draws my attention. It comes with a small baby spatula for application. The jar is tiny and it seems like you are getting ripped off for a tiny jar of lip balm at first but in reality you only need a tiny bit of balm to cover your lips which results in the jar lasting longer than expected. I have this bad habit of biting my lips when Im stressed but when I have this mask on it reminds me not to bite. It also makes my lips less chapped which also helps lessen the biting. I can't wait to use this lip mask during winter. My lips do really look and feel very soft after using this product so I recommend splurging a little bit on this lip mask.

Sephora Sale Haul!
Went on a little spending spree yesterday! Excited to play with these goodies 💖 no ratings because I haven’t been able to test them out too much, but I’ll update! FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte SkinstickFENTY BEAUTY - Portable Contour & Concealer Brush 150I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try these! I was hoping to get the trio set but it’s sold out everywhere near me 😅 I’ll have to play around with the application to make sure that I have it mastered for my engagement photos! SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid LipstickI got this in three shades: marvellous mauve, first date and infinite rose. The lady at Sephora said that infinite rose is the most popular bridal shade! TATCHA - The Kissu Lip MaskI got this because I tried the Laneige lip max and it did nothing for me 😭 I knew the lip stains would be drying and wanted something to help. It’s pricey but hoping it’ll be worth it! laura mercier - Caviar Stick Eye ShadowI got this in the shade au naturel. This will be a quick and easy eye look for when I’m back to teaching! Might even use this for my engagement photos. Anyone use these before? Thoughts? Advice?

Filters are great, but great skin is BETTER!
Hi ladies! Okay so this is one of my favorite facial cleansers. (I have tried a lot, lol!) I have sensitive skin so I enjoy the gentle yet effective products. This cleansing product always leaves my skin feeling so fresh and soothed. This cleanse contains the “Japanese Luffa Fruit”. One of the main skin care benefits of this ingredient is that it acts as a natural detoxifier. Not only does the luffa fruit detoxify it also acts as a anti-inflammatory agent for the skin. I can honestly say that if I had to explain this product in a few works they would be DETOXIFY and DESTRESS so the luffa fruit extract is truly doing it’s job. My skin feels like brand new after using this product, feeling fresh is honestly an understatement. When I first encountered it I wanted to wash my face a million times a day because of the effect it had on my skin LOL!, I couldn’t get enough of it. The cleanser is somewhat like a watery thinned out jelly base with tiny pieces of the luffa fruit that act almost as a extremely gentle exfoliant in my opinion. This cleanse truly rids the skin of dirt and debris without stripping the skin barrier. You can use this product everyday morning and night. The aroma to this product is very light and fresh (I can’t stand anything with potent overbearing odor but do enjoy a little scent on occasion if it’s from natural extracts). It almost smells like green tea with a hint of citrus. I highly recommend this facial cleanser, you still not be dissatisfied!! Sometimes Sephora has the option of selecting the smaller size just do that at first to try it out. CHANGE IS GOOD 💋

My fav drug store product of 2020 for only $8!
Guys, I seriously can’t tell you how much I am in love with this primer! I’ve previously used Lancôme, Smashbox, Urban Decay and CoverFX primers which are all significantly more expensive than the US$8 / AU$16 for the e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer This product is legit amazing! It has the most soft silky texture on the skin, fills your pores but doesn’t cause congestion or breakouts and makes my makeup look flawless! It’s a pale pink in the packaging but once it’s smooths into the skin completely disappears. There is no strong smell or fragrances so is completely pleasant to use. It’s considered by many beauty bloggers to be a dupe for the TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primerwhich I haven’t tried but at US$52 / AU$83 is roughly between 5-7 times more expensive depending on where you live! If you’re in the market for a primer which not only feels lovely on your skin but makes your pores appear smooth and your makeup flawless then I highly recommend you give the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer a go 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Perfect Primer (for all skin types) 💜🦄
I feel like primer is the most underrated step of the makeup routine! Many people will blame their foundation, powder, or setting spray for their makeup not lasting.. when it's really your primer or lack-of to blame! 😲 You wouldn't paint a wall without using a primer, so why would you not prime something even more precious before applying your products? The TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer is one of the best primers I have ever used! You only need a pea sized amount of this primer to cover your whole face, meaning that this product is worth the extra coin you have to spend on it 💸 By helping to fill your pores and give you an aribrushed look 🤩 There have been a few days I've skipped foundation cause this primer alone makes my skin look so good! Will I repurchase - Totally! This primer is great and you can use any high- or low-end foundation and have amazing rests!

Just okay for such an expensive product :/
First Impression: I opened the box and WOW is this small for $20! I never shop at Sephora and the only reason I bought this was because I received a $25 gift card recently but I was at least expecting this to be a little bit bigger. Like .5 fl oz instead of .34 maybe? I have heard amazing things from dozens of skincare sites so I couldn’t wait to try it! Opening: When I opened the tin, it looked thick due to its color, but once I put some on it was VERY thin. When I use my regular Clinique Moisture Surge (which is super hydrating) it is very lightweight but still a little bit heavier than this. Smells great! Next day: I have to say the combo of this and THE BODY SHOP - Jumbo Tea Tree Oil has me waking up with the smoothest skin but lately my skin has been feeling much drier due to the cold (not on just my face) and I don’t think it is as hydrating as I expected it to be. The cream dries very quickly which makes me want to put another layer on and when I wake up I still have dry spots. Like I said I feel VERY smooth but not as hydrated as I’d like. Verdict: I feel like this would definitely benefit me better around the summer/springtime when I’m not looking for complete re-hydration of my skin and more of a moisturizer but I do not think this is the holy grail I was expecting it to be. Try it out if you get the opportunity because all skin is different! But for my combination skin and hormonal acne, it’s gonna be a no from me, dawg :(

Top Cleansers of 2020!
Starting off with my top first cleanses because it’s important to double cleanse!!! Top Oil Cleanse: TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser This cleanser is one that I won’t stop talking about. It’s a great texture that emulsifies easily and doesn’t leave a film on my skin at all. It’s pricey, but it’s an experience. Top Cleansing Balm: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm I picked this up while travelling (sigh... early 2020...) and I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. I’m very much one to not buy into the hype of products, but now I understand why there is so much hype! It’s a sorbet texture that emulsifies and doesn’t leave a film on the skin! Top Misc. First Cleanse: Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marine Makeup Removing Meltaway Cleanser This is a new find from me, but none the less, it’s amazing. This cleanser is very unique, because it’s one that you don’t have to rinse... let me explain. So this as a milky cleanser that melts away face and eye makeup or SPF, but can we wiped away with a face cloth, like a Makeup Eraser. I honestly didn’t think that this would work, but I’m actually very surprised by this. I was sent this product by the DDG team and am featured in a video on the @ddgcanadateam instagram using this cleanser, go check it out to learn more! And now with the second cleanses. New Favourite: skinfix - Barrier+ Foaming Oil Cleanser This was actually more of a new find because I began using this in September. At first, I was confused because of the “foaming oil cleanser” title. I went to use this as my first cleanse one night and it went horribly. Now that I know that this is a second cleanse, I use it almost every night. This and my FOREO - LUNA fofo pair amazing together. OG Favourite: comfort zone - comfort zone Essential Cleansing Milk I got a facial done around May, and the aesthetician used this product, I instantly fell in love. This does have a smell to it, but it’s so lovely. This is gentle and hydrating so I don’t have to worry about my skin being dry, red and irritated. Love this stuff!

I Tried 4 Vegan-Cruelty Free Cleansing Oils
Hey, I’m Kay. I’m a 27 year old female with skin as dry as the Sahara and as sensitive as a baby’s bum. I have no idea what the heck I’m doing, but I thought it would be educational, if not, comical to document me finding my 100% “clean” skincare routine. Back story: I have eczema prone skin that cracks, peels and sometimes stings if I don’t feed it moisturizer every hour. I live in the Windy City of Chicago and that alone should explain why my face sucks. Oh, and did I mention I’m Vegan?! A Vegan, eczema, dry, sensitive baby bum here. Welcome. Step 1: Cleansing Oils #1 BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil $30 / 6.8 fl oz. Biossance is a 100% Vegan-Cruelty free company, so naturally I had to try their products. This oil in particular is made with sugarcane derived squalane as opposed to shark liver extracted squalane! How ah-mazing is that!? This oil has a very light smell, but removes my makeup without irritating my skin. I’ve been using this and the Tatcha one now for 3 months and I must say I love them both, but for the price point and same result...this is my first choice! Fun fact: This product is vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free, and comes in recyclable packaging. #2 TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser $48 / 5.1 fl oz. The holy grail and rightfully so! This oil is just wow. (I know, I’m late) This product has no smell (IMO) and melted my face & eye makeup away with ease and left no greasy residue behind like some of the other cleansing oils I’ve tried. Honestly, If it weren’t for the almost $20 price difference; this for sure would be my #1! Fun fact: This product is 1 of 15 Vegan products Tatcha has to offer. However, ALL products from Tatcha are Cruelty Free! 🚫🐰 #3 pai - Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil $49 / 3.3 fl oz. Holy Scent. This product is scented to the gawds. After getting over the nauseating smell, I would say this cleansing oil actually performed pretty well. It removed my makeup and left my skin feeling the most hydrated afterwards. However, that’s pretty irrelevant to me being that this is a pre-cleansing step. But, If you’re okay with spending extra moolah, engulfing rosehip oil and you wear heavy makeup. This might be for you! Fun Fact: Pai is certified by the Vegan society & Leaping Bunny cruelty-free society. #4 JULEP - Love Your Bare Face Cleansing Oil $22 / 3.5 fl oz. What...the...heck This product disappointed me more than my ex. Even worse, I didn’t see this one coming! The reviews online RAVE about this product, but for me, it couldn’t even take the makeup off of my hands, let alone off of my face! Though this cleansing oil isn’t as scented as the Pai one, it definitely still has a moderate scent. This one also left a greasy residue. Maybe it didn’t pair well with my foundation? Either way, “Issa no for me dawg”. Fun fact: This product will NOT be receiving my coin again.

My skincare (normal to oily sensitive skin)
My current routine! I have ups & downs & some I want to improve but this is what it’s currently at! Not pictured: TATCHA - Calming Foaming Enzyme Powder Absolutely love! Was going back & forth between this version & the one for oily skin but this one is juuuuuust right for my picky skin!! Pictured: (in order of use) TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener Omg-it’s a game changer! This stuff may just look like fancy water (lol who am I kidding-I use evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray so yeah-THATS fancy water but I love it! lol) but this stuff is 100% the real deal! I’ve noticed that products glide one & I don’t have as much of the shiny effect after putting on my skincare routine! Yay! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum Ok so warning on this one-you’ll never use a full pump unless you share with 2 other people at the same time-this pump is stupid-I hate it but the product so far has done a good job & hasn’t made me run to go find a new one right away-could it be improved...? Yeah-but it’s a good option for me for now 😊 also-I don’t like using this by itself cuz it’s drying... so for a fix to that I added.... DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream One again-you don’t need a full pump unless you’re sharing-no one has that much surface area to cover with this...ugh. This is the step that was missing when I just was using the firming serum-this is hydrating & goes after because it’s thicker. The combo works for me. Would I rather have 1 product? Yes. Would I rather have a better pump that doesn’t portion out share sizes of product? Yes.... am I rushing to Sephora to find a new one? Ha! No.... Curology - Curology formula My 2 cents on those people who hate this? It’s not for you & that’s ok! But dang does this work for me!! It’s a must have!! Love it!! -or- never and DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I haven’t used this enough to rate but this is supposedly suppose to help with dark spots & pores? We shall see tester size...we shall see... TATCHA - The Water Cream Omg moisture heaven! Smells like a spa, glides on like a dream AND has gold in it? Sign me up! This stuff is amazing-I love it & it does wonders for me! Add ons! TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK Not in love-good for dry spots or singular areas every once in a while but meh-not worth it & not a fave of mine. TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Also-not in love. Is it nice when I’m dried out? Yeah! Does it last? Nooooot really? Meh-I have it I’ll use it & I won’t buy again... TATCHA - Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ Meh-this is just....meh. Again will use it up & not rebuy....

LED LIGHT THERAPY MASK
Everyone who’s used this kind of mask has seemed to love it so far. Picked this one up from Amazon for $40! It’s crazy considering you have celebs ripping people off and charging an outrageous $200 for literally the same mask I got for a quarter of the price. So far I’ve used it for less than a week and I’m really loving how well my acne has been improving along with my new and simpler skincare! My AM and PM routine are: TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener slurp - Niacid slurp - Hyaluid Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel With this simple routine my skin has been making a huge turn around and my acne and some scars I have are really starting to heal up beautifully. For now I’ll continue to use this for the next month consistently to see how well my skin improves. Update: used the mask for a while and noticed no difference, the quality was just not there. Not to mention there’s was an issue with the unit turning off way before it was even done. I would not recommend this product at all. Save your money and buy a high quality led light therapy mask or hand tool instead.

Current night routine 🌙
I wanted to share my current night routine for my skin, starting with when I shower, because it's really been working for me: 1. In the shower, I use a half pump of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser to tighten pores, get rid of any gunk on my face, and to brighten. 2. After I'm done showering, my blood pressure tends to go up because of circulation improving, so I get in my pajamas and apply Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum to calm any redness. Then I brush my teeth. 3. Next, I spray a little bit of Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray all over and roll my face using my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller 4. I roll my face using the wide end, starting with my left cheekbone and go to the jawline while going in lines/diagonals on my cheeks. Then I do my forehead by going horizontally - the top first and moving down, focusing on my brow bones (bc of sinuses, same with cheekbones and undereyes), next is the right cheek same as the left, then chin, sides of nose & undereyes w/ small end, and I finish by going in lines like a fern - but the branches/stems, not the little leaves. starting in one spot, going out, and coming back but going to different spots each time until I get that area covered - I make 5 lines on both cheeks and forehead using this method. It's difficult to describe tbh - center between my eyes / middle of brow, for cheeks its by my ear opening) 5. After my face is all cooled off, I put on a dime-sized amount of either Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream or Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream and lather it all over onto my face and neck. 6. Don't forget your lips! I use either my birthday, coconut, or my recent fave - the fig Glossier. - Balm Dotcom 7. The last step is to spray some more of my Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray but I also have two other sprays - YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandhaand TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Thx for reading ! 😊

Although this is a wonderful product and works extremely well, I think the tube is a bit too small for the price. On the bright side, it feels extremely good on the skin(light weight). I struggle with enlarged pores on my cheek/nose area and this product fills them in nicely. It also has a nice scent that is not to irritating.

I enjoyed using this primer (which I won in a giveaway sponsored by Cherie), but I won’t be purchasing another because this one is pricey and I’ve realized I enjoy using lotion/liquid texture primers more than I enjoy balm-consistency primers like this one.

EMPTY ALERT It’s a sad day in this home. My tatcha Water Cream is gone... RIP. She was my first favorite high-end moisturizer when my skincare obsession began, and she remains a favorite! Beautiful packaging, lovely smell and texture. I used the last of it yesterday and was reminded how soft and hydrated it leaves my skin. Now I’m left with the task of deciding what I should replace it with: A) another Water Cream, B) the Indigo Cream or C) YTTP’s Adaptogen!
