My current AM & PM routine
I’ve been suffering with pimples and dark spots and once I found Olay O.M.G they did such an amazing job!! PM ROUTINE: Retinoid helps to get rid of my pimples & my fine lines without tradeoffs or drying the skin. I feel my skin so soft & dehydrated when I get up in the morning. AM ROUTINE: Tone perfecting treatment & cream help to get rid of my dark spots. I seriously can see my skin got brighter after a few uses. I have tried every cream under the sun from reasonable to expensive and I am in love with these products! I hope they will keep doing the good job as I already stocked them up! 😆

*Dupe Alert* Drugstore Retinol Skincare Products
What is RETINOL? Retinol is pure vitamin A. Along with a bunch of other vitamin-A derivatives starting with the letter R, retinol is an example of a retinoid — that's the catchall term for these A-based formulas, both the over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription varieties. Prescription Retin-A and Tretinoin and over the counter retinols increase skin cell turnover and stimulate collagen synthesis. While an OTC retinol (0.5%-2% concentration) isn't quite as effective or speedy as prescription-strength, it's less likely to cause irritation, redness, and peeling so better for anyone with sensitive or drier skin. But, still be caution, with any retinoid you have to practice restraint, applying a pea-size drop only one or two nights a week until skin acclimates, and buffering that dose with a squirt of anti-inflammatory serum or lotion.  With consistent use of a topical retinol or Retin-A you can see improvement of fine lines, dark spots, texture, and tone. Speaking from my experience, I've never used a high-end retinol product, but I did find some retinol product dupes to give a try. CeraVe - Skin Renewing Retinol Cream Serum It has a light serum texture, but as you rub it in, it feels a bit thicker and creamier and even turns a bit white. It has no smell and dries pretty quickly in about 10 seconds. It leaves the skin feeling baby soft and hydrated which I really like. I use it with the CeraVe vitamin c serum and their skin renewing night cream. My skin is brighter and even toned than it used to be. I'm sure this will continue to get better as I continue to use. Will continue to use this line of products! OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Moisturizer For me personally, I noticed that my skin’s texture was smoother and brighter overall. I don’t necessarily struggle with a lot of breakouts, but my skin’s texture is still one of my major concerns. I love that these products helped me feel more confident without makeup because my skin was so much more even! Hands down, the moisturizer was my favorite product of them all. Now that the temperatures are dropping, my skin has become thirsty and dry. This moisturizer gave my skin all of the extra hydration it needed, while also adding a little extra glow. I also love that the moisturizer, as well as the other Retinol24 products, are fragrance free. This just gives me a little more peace of mind about using them! Here I Find Some Tips on How to Use Retinol for Best Results ● First one to two weeks: Apply just two nights in the evenings each week. ● Next two weeks: Apply it every 2nd night. ● After 4 to 6 weeks of use: You should have a good idea of how your skin is tolerating it. If it’s tolerating well, increase usage to nightly application. ● After 8 to 12 weeks: Once skin’s tolerance is built up after about 8 to 12 weeks, it is fairly easy to use nightly. Decrease usage anytime you need to. Sharing is caring. 💕

Help!!
I’m not sure if it’s the products that I’ve been using or it could be hormonal?? I stayed up late one night week doing schoolwork and woke up with this. My face got super itchy and keeps breaking out. I keep my skincare routine pretty simple as I only use CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin NOXZEMA - Anti Blemish Pads OLAY - Complete All Day UV Moisturizer SPF 15 Sensitive Skin + an antibacterial soap from Amway I’ve stopped using the anti blemish pads recently to prevent irritation. I have senior pictures in a few weeks and I’m looking for the fastest but safest way possible to get rid of the redness and scars. Anything helps!!

It’s Texture Tuesday! Sharing a Few Favourites
Hi Beauty’s 🙋🏽‍♀️ I thought I’d take some timeout over the weekend and re-energise so I haven’t been on since Friday. 😲 I post a lot about nutrition and self-care so I like to take my own advice. 😉 But sharing is caring so I’m here to highlight some of my favourite skincare products as part of Texture Tuesday. It’s a thing 😉 Moisturisers 🧴 OLAY - Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream I used the Olay Regenerist range including the essence and eye cream for over 10 years. I’ve mentioned in previous posts I only cleansed sporadically before joining Cherie 😱 it’s now a twice a day ritual 😁 Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer I did a review on this product previously and I love the texture and smoothness. I use it before I apply my day cream as another layer of hydration. My night cream is pictured beside the OLAY - Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream it’s a herbal retinol cream from China. I don’t know the brand because the packaging is in Chinese. I love it and have repurchased 4 or 5 times from Wish. Masks 😷 alya skin. - Skin Pink Clay Mask Pink Clay is a personal favourite of mine, it’s the most sensitive of clays and suitable for sensitive skin. The Alya Clay does what it says it will do and detoxifies and brightens skin. The pastel pink colour is gorgeous but it does have a fragrance, which gets cloying and may irritate. sukin - Pink Clay Facial Masque Sensitive 100ml Another pink Clay, the results aren’t as good as alya skin. - Skin Pink Clay Mask but it’s fragrance free and has great natural ingredients like aloe Vera, kaolin and bentonite Clay, cucumber 🥒, chamomile and Tasmanian pepper 🌶 Sleeping Masks GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask I’ve been using the Glow recipe for a couple of weeks, it’s my first eye mask purchase. I can’t believe how plump and hydrated my under eyes look in the morning. I’m sold on eye sleeping masks and can’t wait to try more. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎅 Last, but definitely not least, Aloe Vera (pictured by Avocado Melt 🥑), I use aloe as an ingredient in my natural face masks and because it’s summer here in Australia 🇦🇺 it’s also used to soothe sunburn 🥵 I may regularly use sunscreen now but I still get burnt if I’m out in the sun 🌞 too long. 🙃 What’s some of your favourite textures? I love to see them! Drop me a line and let me know. 🤗 And don’t forget I have a giveaway running exclusively for our Cherie Community 🍒 follow me on Cherie, like my new business page on Facebook and leave a comment on the original post to enter! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Have a wonderful day! My Morning Skincare Routine for Combo Skin
Hi 👋 I started my Journey about 6 weeks ago and I’m so glad I did because I only used Olay. I did a review on the Olay range but in a nutshell I used: OLAY - Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Miracle Boost Youth boosts the renewal of surface cells and provides twice the anti-ageing benefits for skin. It has Niacinamide to boost surface cell metabolism and renewal, reducing wrinkles. Amino Peptides help repair skin, reduce wrinkles and firm skin. Lys’lastine, a Dill extract enhances skin elasticity. OliveM, contains an array of anti-ageing ingredients and helps protect skin from oxidative damage. OLAY - Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream has highly concentrated Amino-peptide complex and actives that help renew skin’s surface cells. Olive-oil extract that aids faster ingredient penetration into the skin. Hydra-firming Complex helps retain skin’s youthful look. OLAY - Eyes Eye Lifting Serum Pro-Retinol, helps increase the rate of surface cell turnover to smooth the look of wrinkles. With hydrating properties, it Is meant to help fortify skin’s natural moisture barrier allowing your skin to better retain moisture. I cleansed with sukin - Gel Cleanser Sensitive a gel for combination, oily skin types who have sensitive skin, it provides a gentle, non-drying cleanse designed to help remove impurities and excess oils. A blend of Green Tea, Cucumber, and Avocado Oil to gently clean, refresh and purify skin. Now my Morning Routine 😁 Cleansing with L'ORÉAL - Pure Clay Cleanser Detox & Brighten it’s great for pores and my skin looks brighter. I haven’t found it harsh or drying. DICKINSON'S - Witch Hazel Liquid I use three times a week because it has great antioxidants and antibacterial properties. It’s also great for tightening skin. For me, it’s a little drying which is why I alternate between toners. All natural witch hazel and contains Natural Grain Alcohol 14%, different from synthetic chemical alcohols, it aids in retaining moisture. My Go To day Serum is TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum Designed to target the most common signs of aging including brightness, firmness, fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and sun spots. The plant-based, cruelty-free formula also contains active botanicals, aloe vera and organic jojoba oil for nourishing and soothing skin. My Moisturiser and Eye Cream is currently Auquest 5 second Wrinkle Remover Cream. I did a review and was a little awed by this product. It’s now my new day cream. 😄 Lastly sunscreen, I use Banana Boat 🚤 SPF 50 because I live in Australia and don’t wear make up on the daily. It’s a special occasion thing for me. 😉 Our sun 🌞 is hot down here. Its currently Spring and getting 🥵 if you can recommend a SPF 50 drop me a comment below👇🏽 Jade 😃

My Family’s Favorite Beauty Products (oh no..)
Hey ya’ll! Today we’re talking about my family’s favorite beauty products! My grandma is super into high end beauty, but both my parents describe themselves as “creatures of habit” and aren’t that into it. However, they all have products they love. The way this will work is they’ll share their favorite products and why they like them, then I’ll give my opinions on them based on their ingredients. Mom: LAYRITE - Natural Matte Cream in Medium Hold: My Mom says it’s able to tame her frizzy hair, while also not requiring her to use a lot of it. My comment: I talked about this product in my Best of Haircare 2020 post on Cherie. This pomade is strongly targeted at men, as a great pomade for mess free styles. The ingredients don’t show much, it’s pretty standard. It has vanilla fragrance oils, which is okay for a hair product, and it has brazilian wax. OLAY - Complete UV365 Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 : My Mom says that her Mom used to use this when she was a kid, and my Mom started stealing it. She fell in love with it, and likes that it absorbs quickly while not being greasy, and that the smell reminds her of her Mom. This is ironic because I always steal this from my Mom. Who knows when the chain will stop? My comment: This one I’ve also talked about on Cherie in my Best of Skincare 2020 list. This is a really basic nourishing moisturizer, that’s great for beginners. It’s alchohol and frangrance free, and quite affordable. #Bobbi Brown - Lip Color[products]#[FourStars] : My Mom says she discovered this while shopping in early February 2020. She says it’s super soft, lasts a pretty long time, and that it’s more of a brown color than a true nude. My comment: This lipstick is imfamous for not layering well, but is great from an ingredient stand point. #Aveda - Smoothing Fluid Lotion[products]#[FiveStars] : My Mom says she’s been using this for about 15 years. It also helps with frizz, and brings her hair a lot of shine. My comment: The best way to describe this product is like a serum for your hair. It’s a bit oily on your fingers, and smells like pumpkin pie. It has fragrance, hence the smell, but again that’s okay in terms of haircare. It has a fusion of oils, which seem to be causing the oily texture, as well as the shine. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this to people with oily hair. Other than that, I wish I could recommend it, but apparently Avenda discontinued this product :(. Dad: head & shoulders - Classic Clean Anti-Dandruff 2 in 1 Paraben Free Shampoo and Conditioner : My Dad says that he normally has bad dandruff, but this shampoo works to get rid of it. I think we can trust him on that, as he’s been using it for about 40 years. My comment: This product uses pyrithione zinc as it’s main dandruff fighting ingredient. Zinc can help prevent hair loss, clean your hair folicules, and reduce build up on your scalp. I wouldn’t reccomend this product because it contains large doses of both sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate. These are known skin irritants, which can cause severe reaction to those with sensitive skin. #Paco Rabbane - cologne[products]#[ThreeStars] : My Dad says he tried it because his uncle used it, and he’s been wearing it for 25 years now. My comment: you can’t say anything about a cologne, I mean it’s all about the fragrance. #Irish Spring - Bar Soap[products]#[ThreeStars] : My Dad says he likes the smell. My comment: my Dad is so old he hasn’t graduated to liquid soap yet. Some side notes, people on amazon say it’s a great pest and deer repellent, as well as a great deodent. Who knew bar soap had a bunch of different uses? Grandma: OBAGI - Nu-Derm Toner : My Grandma says that she likes how calming this toner is. My comment: I overall don’t like this product. First, witch hazel is the third ingredient in this toner. Witch hazel can be irritating and sesitizing, and it also needs alcohol in it to be stable. Alcohol is also irritating. This product also has fragrance, and when I smelled it I thought on cinnamon. OBAGI - Nu-Derm Foaming Gel : My Grandma says she likes to use this and the toner together. My comment: This product is really bad. First, it contains a large amount of Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which I already talked about. It also contains unnecessary extracts, fragrance, and 5 TYPES OF PARABENS!!!! Parabens are believed to mimic the hormone oestrogen. “Too much oestrogen can trigger an increase in breast cell division and growth of tumors, which is why parabens have been linked to breast cancer and reproductive issues.” According to Elle magazine and the Environmental Working Group. SKINCEUTICALS - A.G.E. Eye Complex for Dark Circles : My Grandma likes that this cream help diminish the appearance of her wrinkles. My comment: This product is okay. The ingredient list is fine, my only concern would be that it contains a pretty big amount of paraffins, which are known to clog pores. #skinmedica - the advanced serum[products]#[OneStar] : My Grandma says she LOVES this serum! She says it contains stem cell factors, and is really expensive but unbelievable. My comment: This product is really overpriced. It’s $295.00 for a 1 oz. bottle, and NOTHING on the ingredients list justifies the price. It claims to have anti aging complex’s, but if so, I can’t find them on the ingredients list. All I see is a list of cheap extracts, that are a form of fragrance even though they claim the product is fragrance free. Sorry Grandma, The Ordinary will give you better serums for $5. Save that $290 for something more important! Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion : My Grandma says this is a good, simple moisturizer thats well priced. My comment: This is a good product! It has glycerin which is hydrating, it’s not overpriced, and it’s fragrance free! That was a roller coaster, but that’s it for today! Make sure to cheer this post to spread the awareness that no matter how long you’ve been using a product it might not be good. A bad sunscreen for my dark skin
So I tried looking for a physical sunscreen and after my research I figured , full physical sunscreen will only leave white cast on dark skins. So it’s better to get a sunscreen with both physical and chemical ingredients. I wanted to go for the CeraVe am sunscreen because I have tried it before, but i wanted to try something new so I did some research and found this OLAY - Complete UV365 Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 I was excited about the brand name, it was oil free and non-comedogenic, and it was affordable too, like $17, so I decided to go for it. It has been really bad, apart from the fact that it leaves so much white cast, it is not moisturizing in any way unlike the CeraVe am. I have to really rub with so much energy for my skin to absorb it and minimize the white residue. Please, if anyone knows a sunscreen (preferably physical or combined) that works for dark skins please help a girl and comment. Thank you✨❤️

Updated night time routine
Hi all! As we head into winter in the east coast I thought it would be the perfect time to try serious exposure to retinol. I am brand Loyal to olay and if you have seen my last few posts - I have tried their retinol eye cream for months and have experienced some better results. For starters - what I LOVE about all these products is that they’re fragrance free - albeit fragrance doesn’t really bother me - I know some followershave more sensitive skin than me ! So after I cleanse and tone (up to you) - I apply the OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Facial Serum all over my face. What I love about this is that it’s light weight and easy to apply. It absorbs within about 3 minutes if that. I didn’t notice it did much for brightening but again - it made my skin very very smooth snd even. Second I apply the OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Eye Cream under my eyes. I’m giving this a 4/5 because I usually have to apply it twice. I don’t have dry skin - but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t hydrate me the way I need it to. And for an eye cream on so so on it. Lastly, I lock in the moisture by applying OLAY - Regenerist Retinol 24 Max Fragrance-Free Night Hydrating Moisturizer . This is the holy grail of their products. It’s a little thicker which is great if you have dry skin. Even for my very oily combination skin - it didn’t give me any issues All in all - for the price you get what you pay for. I love this moisturizer but the eye cream id say maybe try elsewhere. Hope this helps and if you have questions or experiences - drop them below !!

pm routine 🌙
1. DERMA•E - Universal Cleansing Balm This cleansing balm is good for removing makeup and is very hydrating but after using it for about 2-3 weeks daily, I didn’t notice that it was doing anything special. Now, I only use this product on the days I wear makeup. 2. Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser At night time I like to use this water-based calming cleanser to calm and soothe my skin before going to bed. It contains citric acid which has exfoliating properties. So far so good with this cleanser. 3. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This peeling solution is fairly new to my night time routine. I just purchased this last week, so I’ve only used this twice, so I didn’t give it a rating because I want to give it a few more tries before I form a full opinion about it. I will say, I was a little skeptical to try it at first because I heard that it burns very bad, especially for the first use however, I don’t think that the “burning” was unbearable. To me, it felt more itchy. I only use this twice a week, per the directions on the bottle. *rinse well* 4. THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Mist I’ve been using this toner for about 3 months now because I wanted to try witch hazel for its anti-inflammatory and pore shrinking properties. Cherie has turned into my skincare bible lately, so I take what you guys say very seriously. With that being said, I’ve read about how witch hazel may not be the best for the skin with everyday use. I do like the way my face feels after applying this, but I am planning on switching up my toner in hopes for better results. 5. OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Facial Serum I first want to say that I don’t use this serum on the nights I use The Ordinary peeling solution. While in Ulta one day, I spent about 20 minutes debating between this retinol serum and another one from a different brand, and let me say, I’m pretty pleased with my decision. This serum is not too thick and doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy/oily. I am only 20 so I’m not fighting with wrinkles or sagging at the moment, but it’s never too early to include retinoids into your routine. :) 6. OLAY - Total Effects Night Firming Cream I’ve always used an Olay night cream, but recently switched to this particular one about a month ago. It claims to even skin tone and also firm, smooth, and brighten skin. Like the retinol serum, this moisturizer is very light and gentle, not too oily. It is also very hydrating. In combination with my other products, I would say that this has helped even out my skin tone since the start of my skin care journey. 7. Murad - Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment I’ve tried many spot treatments but this is by far the best one. It is a little drying, but that is to be expected. It’s a miracle worker!! By the next morning, the blemish is basically gone!

recent target finds!😍
OLAY - Regenerist Retinol 24 Max Fragrance-Free Night Hydrating Moisturizer OLAY - Complete Lotion All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin ⚡️my skin type: sensitive eczema and acne prone ⚡️what the product does: retinol increases production of collagen & promotes more “plump” skin. zinc oxide spf protects ⚡️what makes it worth it: gentle retinol formulation. ⚡️ingredient highlights: retinol & zinc oxide spf ⚡️what the experience is like: the max retinol product (used at night) melts into the skin & feels like velvet. the spf (used in day) gives the skin a glow. ⚡️in full transparency: professionals do reccomend a higher spf especially when you use sensitizing products like retinol, but this one is enough for me as im indoor most of the time and avoid sun exposure as much as i can (even from a window) something about this spf just gives me an amazing glow (i think its the zinc oxide) and it will forever be a staple of mine. have only tried the retinol for a week will update soon but so far so good!

❄️❄️WINTER ROUTINES ❄️❄️
Recently my skin has been drier than normal. Most winters I never really struggled with dryness. So I had to add in some added moisture. There’s a few new products I just started using with in the past few days & so far like. A. M. Routine cleanse w/ LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser tone bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum ( this has been a game changer for my hormonal acne ) vitamin c SheaMoisture - Papaya & Vitamin C Brighter Days Ahead Serum ( bottle wrapped in foil ) * would give higher rate but I dont like it’s in a clear glass bottle eye cream PACIfICA - Rose Jelly Beauty Sleep Undereye Gel SPF Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 ( sinks right in no greasy film ) moisturize GARNIER - SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream * every time I wash I always pat dry w/ a clean paper towel. I have found that it’s really helped my acne because of the bacteria & towels hold tons of it. * also applying my first product after cleansing to my damp face adds moisture to my face but took some serious getting use to. Lol P. M. Routine double cleanse w/ Neutrogena - Ultra Light Cleansing Oil then follow w/ LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser *after I use the cleansing oil I will use the AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay mask mixed w\ water 2x a week tone bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum exfoliation -I alternate using these every 2-3 days I tend to use one & then the other the next week. * bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Liquid Peel { this peel you well start to experience some peeling, personally I didn’t start see some until about a week or two into using it. } * MEASURABLE DIFFERENCE - Lactic Acid Skin Renewal Serum ( first week trying this & so far looove it noticeable difference in pores a few minutes after application & skin looks ultra smooth ) off days from acids OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Max Night Face Serum { would give higher rate but this serum seems to have an added ingredient to give it some what of a luminous purple affect? Which I’m not fond of. I didn’t notice it on my face but on my jade roller I could visible tell } Then finally to top it all off moisturize w/ OLAY - Regenerist Retinol 24 Max Fragrance-Free Night Hydrating Moisturizer *** I only use this when I use the matching Olay serum *** Aveeno - Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer * I use this every night regardless of which serums I use. * I layer this on top of the olay one because my face tends to be dry. ☃️❄️☃️❄️

Two good serums to improve dark complexion👍👍
Today i'd like to talk about how to whiten my skin tone. Here's two products which I think are very useful for improving dark complexion. I don't wanna talk about the DECORTE which I bought in Japan cuz it disappointed me a lot lol... Shiseido White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector is a serum that claims to fade dark spots and improve skin’s overall radiance. I’ve been using the MicroTargeting Spot Corrector at least once daily for about six weeks now. After six weeks, I haven’t seen dramatic changes in the landscape of the remaining sunspots on my upper cheekbones or the one single one on my left eyelid. The edges are a bit more faded, but neither the big ones nor the lighter little spots (which the package insert also specifies will be, uh, micro-targeted) have gone anywhere. I do notice a slight increase in overall translucence and even tone, particularly on the foot I subjected to this serum. The effects aren’t drastic for me, but I can see how they could be for someone with a more limited routine and fewer strong actives than I use. Physically, the White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector has a lot in common with the Sulwhasoo serum, too. It’s a comparatively thin and watery-feeling liquid with a lot of slip and a pretty strong fragrance. I didn’t have any problems with the alcohol or other ingredients in the product–no breakouts or irritation–and I found it pleasant to apply (if perfumey) and very fast-drying. (Thanks, alcohol!) It also comes in an airless pump bottle, a nice touch that helps preserve the product’s effectiveness. One final note on the performance of this product: The package insert claims not only reparative but also preventative benefits to the MicroTargeting Spot Corrector. It’s meant to resist the formation of new dark spots or hyperpigmentation over time. Strong antioxidants, like the resveratrol in this product, may not only help ward off free radical-induced skin aging, but also prevent pigment darkening by inhibiting the oxidation of melanin already present in skin. That may be the case, but it doesn’t make this a substitute for sunscreen. Really, no matter what other brightening products you’ve got going on, you should be backing them up with sunscreen. You just won’t make any progress otherwise. Conclusion: Has my experience with the White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector dimmed a little of the Shiseido brand’s luster in my mind? Yeah, I guess. I was disappointed in the fairly minimal results I got after an extended period of use. It’s important to note that I’m used to attacking my pigmentation issues with much stronger actives, however, and also important to note that I did see some improvement–just not equivalent to what I see with vitamin C or tretinoin. Strong actives aren’t for everyone, so if you’re just looking for increased overall translucency and even skin tone and are willing to shell out the $100+ for a bottle of this product, you may find it does what you need. Olay White Radiance Light-Perfecting Essence This new-generation essence provides dual whitening action for natural and luminous fairness, without severe measures like chemical peels & micro-dermabrasion. I have a sensitive skin due to eczema so I'm always hesitant to try new products, especially on my face but since Olay has a good reputation and I've already tried their lotions and soaps, I was excited to apply and try this product! I love the very funky packaging! The product is in a glass bottle with a dropper. This is my first time using a dropper because I don't like that it needs to touch my skin then return it inside the bottle for possible cross-contamination. After almost 3 weeks of using this product, I can say that its brightening and glowing effect is very effective. It brightens my face and neck which before has different shades. What I also like that it has this refreshing smell of Jasmine and Rose petals. It also has a lightweight texture. My skin absorbs it right away and does not leave any greasy feeling. As expected, on my first try my forehead got red and itchy but I did notice that the product was easily absorbed by the skin (like in seconds!) and it feels like you didn't put anything on your skin. No stickiness, very mild smell (I so love the smell), no white cast, no oily looking finish. It might not feel anything but when you look at your face it really gives that glowy fresh look! So I decided to give my skin a chance to adjust and now after two (2) weeks of using there's no more red and itchy forehead (gone on day 2) and I don't know if its just me but i think my pores looks finer if I use the product as itself. Over-all I would love to use the whole set of this product for best results because the essence alone is great already.  Good job Olay!

Dupe Alert!😱😱A Perfect Dupe for Expensive Skii!
I use a lot of Olay products and this is one of my favorites. I have very sensitive skin and have no problems using this serum. It is not greasy and absorbed quickly. It has a light scent but I would prefer an unscented version. It only takes a little bit to cover your face which means the bottle lasts a long time. There is a dropper built into the top which makes it easy to use and it delivers the right amount of serum. It is rather clever because the dropper fills every time you tighten the top so it is always ready to use. The whitening essence is said to contain nicotinamide, the same whitening ingredient as SKII. So it's become a very popular affordable alternative. It's almost a tenth of the price of the SKII, which is really attractive! As far as the product itself, I'd give it 5 stars as a moisturizer and 4 stars as a skin restorer. The concentrate goes on smoothly and almost instantly absorbs into the skin, so there are none of the heavy/greasy feelings that I've experienced with other brands. It is a light moisturizer, so if you have extremely dry skin, I'd recommend looking into a more intense shea butter type product, but it was a perfect level of moisture for my 'average to slightly dry' skin. In terms of skin restoration, after regular use, I've seen perhaps slight decreases in some of the lines on my face, and I'd consider it as a "miracle boost". What’s more, after 2 months using, I can definitely feel my skin getting shinier and I guess that's because the whitening ingredients are working. I can't imagine how much more effective a product that costs ten times as much could be, so personally, I think it’s a perfect dupe for Skii whitening essence. OLAY - White Radiance Light Perfecting Essence

Worth the money? Worth the hype?
Worth the money? Worth the hype?
I was super excited to try this after I kept seeing the commercial for it and I love Olay products. This unfortunately hasn’t really done it for me as of yet. I’ve been using it for 2 months straight and haven’t seen any difference in my skin. It does however make my skin so super baby soft which I love. I have dry skin & it definitely takes it away. I was just hoping because of the hype that I would see a difference. Maybe I haven’t used it long enough.

OLAY BODY LOTION TO THE SAVE!
OLAY BODY LOTION TO THE SAVE!
This is the KEY to soft, glowing skin!! I love this over the CeraVe, Aveeno, or Nivea lotion, which many people talk so highly about! I personally love to use it when I’m out the shower and my skins still a little damp, to really lock in that extra moisture which I strive to have! ‼️ It has a lightweight feeling but yet thick Consistency. Doesnt make u feel sticky, or as if u have pounds of lotion on! A little goes such a longg way trust me! Has a very cooling affect and I just love the feel of it on my skin. I love that it has Shea butter, and other amazing ingredients. Will definitely repurchase! I use it morning & night, also throughout the day if my skin feels dry. Which barely happens because this locks in moisture for so long which I did not expect! Was very nervous to make the change due to me using Aveeno & it not being a brand I heard of a lot, but I’m so glad I made that change! So should you!!!😌

Olay Cleansing tool?
Olay Cleansing tool?
When I saw at walmart that Olay had a cleansing tool, I was very intrigued. It was said to be easy to travel with, clean 400% better than regular cleaning and and brushes away dirt, oil and makeup. The basics of what we use cleansing tools for. I absolutely did not like it. The feel of it is very harsh on your face and although it vibrates it does nothing to help the cleaning. It’s a weird shape and kind of uncomfortable to use, but it’s on battery so it lasts longer than other tools for a lower price. I used it for about a week but then decided to try the face wash it came with and had an allergic reaction to it. I don’t recommend this product unless you like having something kind of rough scrap against your skin in order to clean it. I tried this before I actually started using my fofo on a regular basis. I would pay $40 more for a luna and be done with it.

Old V.S. New--OLAY WHITE RADIANCE V.S. OLAY PROX
Old V.S. New--OLAY WHITE RADIANCE V.S. OLAY PROX
I have recommended these two products to every one of my friends since they are amazing on skin brightening. I bought OLAY WHITE RADIANCE first in a discount season. After using 2 bottles of it, I find that my skin tone turns brighter. Then, I bought OLAY PROX for a try since it is said that it has a stronger power on skin whitening than OLAY WHITE RADIANCE. My skin is truly brighter a lot after using them. Believe me, they are really effective! Now, I would like to share my feelings about these two products for you: The texture of them is both gentle and liquid. The subtle difference between these two products is that OLAY WHITE RADIANCE is whiter in color. As for the fragrance, OLAY WHITE RADIANCE has a scent of fruity, while OLAY PROX does not have an obvious fragrance. I doubt OLAY WHITE RADIANCE has stimulation on sensitive skin since my face had a little bit pricking for the first time. However, I would have no sense of pricking after using it for 2 or 3 days. As we know, the key ingredient which helps skin brightening is Nicotinamide. And OLAY PROX has a higher purity and concentration on Nicotinamide than OLAY WHITE RADIANCE. Thus, if you concern more about the function, OLAY PROX would be better. If you are not sensitive to fragrance and prefer cost-effective products, then I would recommend OLAY WHITE RADIANCE. If you are sensitive or allergic to scent, then OLAY PROX is your first choice. Everyone should try one of them; otherwise, you would regret it.
