Snail mucin...is there truth to the hype?
So iv seen a few mentions lately of snail mucin and the power it holds, this exact product is used and loved by the beautiful model Emily Ratajkowski so I thought why not try it? Iv believed the hype with the ordinary products and tried them. I love trying new products so thought what’s the harm?! I work at a clinic and I mentioned it to the doctor and she said it was all the hype in Korea when she went there a few years back, apparently snail facials were a thing? So it must be good! I bought this product from iherb, I got 2, one for me and I convinced my sister to try it, and for $43.44 for both and free shipping it’s a bargain! It should arrive by next week and I’ll give my review on shortly to follow! Has anybody else tried this? What’s your views on it? I have generally good skin and have always had a good skin care routine since having acne as a kid and then becoming a beauty therapist, so iv always cleansed toned and moisturised twice a day since about the age of 12 so my skin care goals are generally to brighten and have that glowing dewy look and also help with some pigmentation caused by the contraceptive pill and sun since moving to Australia. This apparently *has the ability to repair everything from dry patches, to acne breakouts while helping to zap hyperpigmentation* as quoted by; Https://nudieglow.com/products/cosrx-advanced-snail-96-mucin-power-essence

Fav Korean skincare products OF THE YEAR 🙌🏼
I am absolutely obsessed with Korean skincare. They are reinventing the entire industry and developing products that are so, so, insanely good for your skin. The first product I swear by is the snail mucin, I know it sounds yucky but it’s better than any other gel like moisturizer I’ve ever tried. And, don’t worry it’s 100% cruelty free and dries to a non sticky finish that locks in moister all day or night👍🏻 The second is the propolis serum, packed with vitamins and goes great under makeup and or sunscreen to give you that beautiful healthy glow. My last fav of the year and my favorite of the three is the green tea toner. I have really sensitive skin especially around my eyes and this toner immediately reduces redness and irritation, even around puffy, tired eyes. I use it twice a day and couldn’t go a day with out it. I live by this stuff guys and if you have sensitive, red, irritated, even oily skin, you need this 🙌🏼

Hyram Approved🎉🎉Pick The Best Type of Pimple Patch for Your Skin!
You might be confused by Hydrocolloid patches and Micro dart patches, and had a hard time to choose from when acne occurred. Hyram just taught us how to pick the right pimple patch for your skin, and I've listed the benefits and reasons underneath.  Hydrocolloid patches: for medical purposes, and they are originally created for ulcers. Essentially they serve as a protective barrier overtops of a wound to suck out all the nasty fluid from the wound and to help accelerate the healing process. Hydrocolloid patches help to reduce trans epidermal water loss (TEWL: the loss of water that passes from inside a body through the epidermis to the surrounding atmosphere via diffusion and evaporation processes.) thereby hydrating those areas to accelerate the healing process. They create a barrier between you and the pimple to avoid them to be exposed to pollution, dirt, bacteria, and us touching it.  Hydrocolloid patches are most beneficial for pimples that really juicy and oily, and some ones that are producing pus so that we need something to really protect the opening on top of the skin ones.  They are best for people who already have pimples that have come to the surface of the skin, that have erupted, that are risking bacteria and dirt exposure.  Product Recommendation:  COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch($6): contains a variety of sizes. Put them on before you go to sleep, and the next morning you will notice the redness and pus have gone down a lot.  Micro-Dart patches: the difference between hydrocolloid patches and micro-dart patches is that micro-dart patches contain the beneficial ingredients that are typically found in acne treatments, which are arranged into micro dark shapes on the surface of the patch to be able to be pressed into the skin and deliver those benefits deeper. It typically makes sure that the acne-treatment serums can go deeper into our skin to prevent pimples from getting worse and for treating those under the skin pimples.  Using them when you experience the pain under the skin breakout or you really want to take care of a pimple fast.  Product Recommendation:  ZITSTICKA - Killa Kit($29): it contains the ingredients like salicylic acid, which is great for exfoliation, Niacinamide, which will not only control the oil and sebum production in that area but also brightening any scars or dark spots, and tea tree oil.  The primary difference between micro-dart patches and hydrocolloid patches is the price point. Because of the technology and the serum, micro-dart patches tend to be more expensive than a standard high patch.  Check the link below to watch more from Hyram  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP2ldqrtN7U&feature=emb_title Comment below to let me know your thoughts and experiences. 💖💖

My Maskne-Friendly Picks + Tips
Wearing a mask when you’re in public and around others is important. It’s also important to take care of the skin beneath your mask. Masks cause friction and heat can build up underneath, especially if you’re doing physical activity for work or pleasure, which can clog pores + cause maskne (acne from mask-wearing). I will preface this by saying that I don’t break out often. My skin is very dry. I have, however, experienced a few breakouts on the skin that is covered by my mask when I wear it for prolonged periods of time. My non-skincare tip is to not wear makeup underneath your mask because it can clog your pores. If I’m going to be wearing my mask for 30+ minutes (especially if I’m going to be working out), I remove my makeup before leaving my home. I find that really helps me to not break out as frequently. Okay, now for my picks! I use the Paula’s Choice CLEAR line. I purchased these as a set on the PC website on sale for $49 before the start of the pandemic. I purchased the Extra Strength kit because my now husband battles hormonal acne. The set comes with the PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore Normalizing Cleanser ($13), PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Extra Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution with 2% Salicylic Acid w/ 2% salicylic acid, and PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Extra Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment w/ Benzoyl Peroxide 5% ($19). The cleanser contains a gentle percentage of salicylic acid (0.5%) to clean out pores and fight acne. It has a gel texture and lathers a bit. Even with my dry skin, I can use this multiple times per week without my skin feeling dried out. The exfoliating solution is very similar to PC’s popular BHA in the grey bottle. This solution feels slightly more viscous than that one, so I actually like it better for my dry skin. Salicyic acid is awesome for fighting acne. I use it all over my face 2x/wk in the PM after cleansing and toning. Oilier skin types can probably use this more, as it is designed for daily use. It does say anti-redness but I personally don’t think it calms redness. The benxoyl peroxide treatment is more heavy-duty and has a lightweight lotion texture (can be worn under makeup). I use this as a spot treatment before moisturizing (let dry) as needed 1 or 2x/day because I do find it a bit drying, though my husband (more oily) never has issues. I don’t use this on the same day as the exfoliating liquid. I use this one the least, but hubs uses it more. Of the 3, only the benxoyl peroxide has a mild chemical scent. Acne patches are also great. Super easy to wear during the day or night if you work from home or are wearing a mask at work. I use the COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch if a pimple has burst to suck out the gunk inside and protect it while it heals. They’re thin and stick well. Note: Make sure you use SPF 30+ during the day!! Acids can make your skin sensitive to the sun! #CheriePartner

NEED HELP! YesStyle Haul: What do I do??
So I’ve been watching James Welsh videos (love him to bits) and decided I’m going to really, finally, actually, seriously create and follow a skincare routine. I’ve made that decision maybe 14 times already in the last 5 years but something tells me I’m really going to follow through with it this time..!🤞🏻 I got COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser, COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, I'm from - Rice Toner, PURITO - Centella Green Level Buffet Serum, PURITO - Pure Vitamin C Serumand THE FACE SHOP - Rice & Ceramide Moisturizing Facial Toner. I know the basic order of things: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer... But I have 2 serums here (I think), and I’m not sure if some of these products are better for am or pm, and/or if they’re not meant to be layered on top of each other... Please send help!😣 Here’s what I was thinking of doing: AM: 1. Cleanse with the gel cleanser 2. BHA power liquid 3. Rice ceramide emulsion PM: 1. Cleanse with gel cleanser 2. Rice toner 3. Vitamin c serum 4. Centella serum 5. Rice ceramide emulsion I’m worried about doing BHA and Vitamin C serum together. How would you do it?

CosRx Cleanser: Honest Review
I recently ran out of my KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanserand I was in a panic to find something new! I have also been into K-Beauty and this cleanser has been all over the place, so I decided to try it. At $12 I thought it was a pretty good price for a cleanser. I used it for 3 days in a row and hosted my honest opinion: About this product: COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser (If I could give this 4.5 ⭐️ I would) It’s marketed for all skin types and although it says morning, you can use it day or night. Ingredients: Tea Tree Oil: antibacterial BHA: contains citric acid Primerose: hydrating and nourishing pH balanced: 5.3-6.3 (ideal skin pH) Cruelty, Sulfate, phthalate, alcohol FREE MY EXPERIENCE: My skin is combo and I only really break out during my cycle (yaaah hormonal acne). I don’t have any product sensitivities and I thought I would be fine using this. This cleanser made my dryer areas tight. If you have dry, sensitive, or combo skin I would be careful with this. My oily area was great (maybe this should be for oily skin). I blame it mostly on the citric acid. This BHA has a tendency to dry me out in any product I find it in. Which, is weird because glycolic acid is twice as strong but definitely not as drying. I did notice my oily zone to clear up faster than if I was to treat my acne with CeraVe. Overall I would buy this product if CosRx took out the citric acid and made a better formula.

Looking For A Calming Cleanser?
COSRX Pure Fit Cica Cleanser ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I semi-recently discovered COSRX and am pretty impressed with their products so far. I started by purchasing their COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence Snail 96 Essence, then their COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid Blackhead Power Liquid and then, while looking for a calming cleanser, purchased their Cica cleanser. COSRX is cruelty-free and is labled as “clean beauty” (that doesn’t actually mean anything in the skincare world, but nonetheless). The COSRX - Pure Fit Cica Cleanser is billed as low-pH, calming, soothing, strengthening and protecting. * “A mild cleanser with a rich, gentle foam” * “This foam cleanser effectively balances the skin, helping it stay smooth and supple” * “Formulated with CICA-7 Complex and Pinus Pinaster Bark extract” *CICA-7 is said to smooth and protect irritated, sensitive skin and strengthen the skin barrier. *Pinus Pinaster Bark extract contains Vitamin E and is said to relieve and help in skin recovery. (*Source: Amazon’s product listing) It also has Centella in it. It’s scientific name is Centella asiatica*, it’s higher classification being pennywort. “Centella asiatica known Gotu Kola is a medicinal plant that has been used in folk medicine for hundreds of years as well as in scientifically oriented medicine.” (*Source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3834700/#idm139695891535344title) So far, my skin is a fan! I have had many instances (particularly with my neck as my skin is SO SENSITIVE AND TEMPERAMENTAL THERE) and this has been a really gentle cleanser that caused zero irritation and I was even able to use some on my healing neck. It had been about a week or so since it had had an adverse reaction to a product and I was able to gently use this without any real sass from my neck. I was initially a little worried because it has a sharp natural scent that I thought might irritated my skin or drive me crazy but it did neither. The smell washes off with the cleanser. It seems to be doing a really nice job in combination with the rest of my skincare routine and it is becoming my most-frequently-reached-for facial cleansers. I would definitely recommend this face wash. An effective, gentle cleanser from a cruelty-free company is a total win in my book.

My Skincare Dream Team
Right now I don't have a job, and I don't have a steady income, so all my skincare gifts and money comes from birthdays and Christmas. I plan on getting a job soon so the things I ask for from others, hopefully, I can get for myself. Kate Somerville - ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating TreatmentRight now I don't have an exfoliator in my skincare right now. The best thing I have is an Exfoliating sand thing my mom bought. From using this I have noticed little to no difference in my skin. I want to try a chemical exfoliation but if my skin doesn't enjoy it then I will go the physical route. THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant SerumRight now I have a vitamin C serum that works on brightening my skin but there are a few setbacks. (I'll do a review soon) This serum just seems better overall and I would love the change in pace. COSRX - AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment TonerMost of the products on this list are things I need to replace our things I don't have. A timer is one of those things I don't have that I feel like I would need for my skin. Right now my skin is dull and patchy, I feel that this would help my problems. pixi - Rose TonicPixi - Rose Tonic Again, things I don't have, and I always want to have more than one option so I’m not disappointed if I’ve doesn’t work, I always have a backup. This tonic was recommended by James Welsh for combo skin. I know sent is a worry for most but most of my products are unscented. On top of that, my skin isn’t very sensitive to sent. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling SolutionThis is my most wanted product. Like I said, I would love to try a chemical exfoliant. This one is the best-reviewed, Hyram and James approved, and just look fun. THE BODY SHOP - Drops Of Youth Youth ConcentrateThis one is the only one I want that i have used before. My mom got a sample when she went to the body shop and I have been hooked since.

The products that saved my skin ✨
I’ve always had clear skin growing up, but during the quarantine period (March-April) my skin had gotten REALLY bad and I couldn’t figure out why. After doing some research, I decided to strip down my routine to just a cleanser, acne treatment, moisturizer and sunscreen before re-adding serums. My skin is recovering well and I am so happy with the progress! COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser This cleanser is AMAZING. It smells a bit like tea tree oil but it is so gentle on the skin. My face is now SO SOFT! It’s a little pricey, but I only use a pea sized amount each time so it lasts quite a while. I will be a long time customer. C&C by Clean & Clear - Persa-Gel 10, Maximum Strength This benzoyl peroxide product was a life saver. I actually used the Persa-Gel 5, not 10; HOWEVER, I have read sources that say that 5% BP is just as effective as 10% and not as drying. I would apply this nightly, and I could notice a difference in just a few days. This stuff is strong and IT WORKS. I only use it as a spot treatment now when I see the beginning of new pimples, and I haven’t had any full ones form since using this product. CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I found that it was too light for night time, but it’s a great light, no-fuss daily moisturizer that quickly absorbs and did not irritate my skin. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 For ~$15 this one is decent! It’s a water gel sunscreen, so it does make me look a little greasy at first but my skin feels hydrated. It might not be the best for those with suuuper sensitive skin, but it works for me for now. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG This is a staple! I’ve been using it for about a year and I am totally happy going out without under-eye concealer. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - 24-Karat Gold Collagen Eye Cream I layer this on top of the Caffeine solution; it’s okay, there are probably better creams out there. The gold flecks are pretty cute though! COSRX - AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner Another okay product, this keeps my skin soft and smooth but not sure it does much in terms of clarifying. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Doesn’t minimize the look of my pores like I had hoped but it does help a lot with the oiliness in my T-zone! The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% I use this once a week — my dark spots do seem to be fading quickly but BEWARE! This product is very potent and stings a bit upon application. The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA A good chemical exfoliant! It is gentle, yet effective. I use it twice a week. The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil I use it nightly and I wake up with radiant, plump skin. Seems to help with pigmentation as well!

KBEAUTY SAVED MY SKIN🥰
I know tons of people now use Korean skincare products, however it’s been part of my routine for almost 4 years now and I haven’t looked back!☺️ SWIPE 👉🏽 for my raw skin!! Kbeauty is the one line of skincare I think everyone at least needs to try because not only is it affordable but the ingredients are insanely good and formulation is everything ✊🏽 it’s stuff you won’t get here from western brands, and if you do, it’s extremely overly priced When I first got into skincare to help with my acne, on a whim I decided to try a whole Korean line without even knowing. When my skin calmed down from using a line that had nothing to do with claiming to help you acne, I knew I had to do more research! 🥳 this is where I found out more about the kbeauty world and overtime, my collection has grown and these are some of my favourites💕 COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence an amazingly hydrating essence/serum gel that works wonderfully on damp skin kind of like a HA which has helped overall hydrate my skin, keep it plump and not dry it out + helps with any hyperpigmentation (it’s slow but effective) I'm from - Rice Toner another amazing toner that has rice extract and niacinamide added to really help hydrate and soothe the skin and immediately brighten my skin!! This is my go to morning toner and my second bottle because I’m in love!!❤️ THE FACE SHOP - Chia Seed Hydrating Lotion my pm toner snd the line that really started my kbeauty journey and helped completely clear my skin in a couple months! Chia seed is such a powerful ingredient in skincare and in food and my gosh is this hydrating and instantly soothing. I will forever to continue to buy from this line (especially the moisturizer) because I know it works for me all the time! I'm from - Mugwort Essence second bottle and I can never stop talking about it! After hearing about tea tree and it working sometimes for me, I found out about mugwort and how it’s referred to as the Korean tea tree but soothing and way less irritating and my gosh they got this right! One of my all time favourite products! I apply two layers am and pm and my skin instantly feels soothed and relaxed and also helps with any irritation or acne ☺️ COSRX - Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask I use this as a moisturizer during the night and even sometimes in the day! It’s super hydrating without being heavy. It also has some niacinamide for that brightening affect. It sinks right in and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and not greasy and my gosh, this is also wonderful under makeup! Again, kbeauty really knows what they are doing and my gosh, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to just stop using Korean skincare! #cheriepartner

SOME NEW PRODUCTS
here are some new products i’m super excited to try out!!! PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber Gel Masque i love this mask!!! it’s super hydrating and calming. it cools my skin down and it’s perfect after a day out in the sun or when you’re needing a little extra hydration. a little goes a long way. SUMMER FRIDAYS - Overtime Mask this mask is most likely not for those with super sensitive skin... the smell is a very pleasant cinnamon pumpkin. it’s both an enzymatic and a physical exfoliator. there are apricot shells in the formula, and they’re pretty large. the directions state that you gently rub in small circles for a minute once applied to the skin, and then leave on for 10 minutes. because i don’t like physical exfoliation, i usually just rub it in super gently for 30 seconds and then leave it on for 10 minutes before gently removing it with a warm washcloth. HERBIVORE - Moon Fruit Superfruit Night Treatment the smell of this one is a little much... a little medical lavender-like. it’s a thick lotion with a beautiful dark purple hue. when i use this, i use it as the last step of my routine and rub it thoroughly into my skin. the morning after my skin is super soft and hydrated and it helps any blemishes and acne on my skin. i’ve read a lot of really good reviews and a few really bad reviews about it molding, but so far it’s been fine for me. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask my fine lines are GONE by morning with the help of this. it blurs and tightens my under eyes, while also hydrating them and not drying them out as some retinols do. COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence love this essence. it has a beautifully thick texture. it’s sticky and stretchy and one pump sinks into the skin. it hydrates and softens my skin, while also helping any irritation. i’m super excited to use the other products i haven’t had a chance to try yet! let me know if you want to hear about any product or products in specific :)

I was really excited to try this since I’ve been hearing such great things about snail mucin. Didn’t know whether to be grossed out about the snails, but wanted to try it at least once. COSRX says this cream gives the skin nourishment and moisture without oiliness. Also helps to protect the skin from moisture loss while improving skin elasticity, and helps repair and soothes red, sensitized skin skin after breakouts. COSRX also claims this product is: Hypoallergenic, Dermatologist tested, Cruelty FREE (causing no harm to any animals in the process), Parabens FREE, Sulfates FREE, Phthalates FREE, and Alcohol FREE My thoughts: I really enjoy using this product. I like how my skin looks and feels when using this. The only thing that’s weird about it is the texture. It’s gooey and stringy. However, it absorbs well into my skin. COSRX calls this product a moisturizer, for me, though, I didn’t find that it was moisturizing enough to be used on its own. My skin would feel dry and tight on the drier areas of my face (I have combination skin). So I would put this on after my serum, and then use the CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion as a final step. All-in-all I’m really glad I tried this. And I would highly recommend it especially if you have oiler skin since it’s very light and won’t add oiliness to your skin.

Routine Suggestions? 🤪
As you can see, I have normal acne, though sometimes it can be cystic / nodule acne that has no whitehead, its just inflamed and hurts a lot. I also [obviously] have pretty enlarged pores and skin texture problems with some dark spots and uneven tone. My skin type is combination / dehydrated / acne-prone My current routine (in order) is this: AM: - CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin I enjoy how this makes my skin feel because my skin can be really dehydrated, though I don’t know if this is the best cleanser for my skin? Its just something I’ve used with some luck. - J.R. WATKINS - Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Spray I enjoy how this toner feels since its light and semi-hydrating, it doesn’t bother my skin and its calming - The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics - The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 both because I have dehydrated skin, so hydration is key 🔑 for me - The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% for the pores ⚔️ - SKINFOOD - Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence I looove this essence for the hydration - COSRX - Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream I do love this moisturizer because its the only one I’ve found that actually hydrates my skin - DESERT ESSENCE - Organic Jojoba Oil I use just about two drops of jojoba to seal in the moisture by patting my face - Eucerin - Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30 lastly, SPF, I don’t really like this one because it leaves a horrible whitecast (even on my fair skin!) but it does keep my face moisturized too PM: - GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover I am thinking to switch to the rosewater version, but maybe a probiotic / hydrating toner would be better? 🤔 - CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin - J.R. WATKINS - Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Spray - The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics - The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - SKINFOOD - Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence - COSRX - Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream - DESERT ESSENCE - Organic Jojoba Oil I also use The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution every TUE and SAT for exfoliation I’m mostly posting this to expand my skincare trials and see what you guys think for combating acne / dehydration / large pores / uneven tone / texture! I love seeing everyone’s comment on other posts about things to try. So since my routine is still fairly new (3 weeks) I want to see what you guys suggest from your experience! 🙂

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ spot treatment! changed my skin!
First of all thank you to@SunshineSandsfor recommending this amazing cream! At first, I haven’t heard of Centella Asiatica but after reading it to it, I decided to purchase COSRX - Centella Blemish Cream from Amazon ($18). This cream is a game changer, seriously. I have really bad cystic acne and redness/scarring. Nothing seemed to be working on those painful under the skin pimples until I found this! Centella is helpful for redness, calming irritation, and assisting skin regeneration + is a natural herbal ingredient. I use it as a spot treatment on top of my aloe moisturizer after washing my face at night. The cream is pretty thick, so I use a qtip and dab it on the spots and it kind of sits on top of it and stays white then eventually dries. One thing is it does get on my pillow but no worries there. The next morning, my under the skin pimples shrunk literally 2x the size - I’ve NEVERRR had a product do this before. Or, it’ll bring super deep pimples to a white head which is also a miracle. Overall 10/10 I highly recommend this as a spot treatment for deep cystic acne. If anyone else uses Centella products, please recommend! 💚

Brand Review: COSRX
As someone with problematic skin, I can’t count on one hand how many COSRX products I’ve tried before. COSRX is a brand that was established in Korea almost two decades ago in 2002. Its name comes from Cosmetics + Rx, showing how much the brand focuses on solving different skin issues. Since most of its products are fairly affordable, I’ve become a pretty huge fan over the years. Although I started using the brand as a university student in my late teens, I never stopped patronizing their products. In fact, until now I still use COSRX products especially for my acne. Here are some products I’ve tried from this Korean skincare brand! 1. COSRX - Centella Water Alcohol-Free Toner To this day, this is the toner I use when I have breakouts. It has a water like consistency and is easily absorbed into the skin. It also soothes my pimples, reducing redness and irritation. 2. COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch These are actually hydrocolloid patches, the same type of product that is used on patients who are healing from surgeries. I use these when I have a pimple that is already on its way out in order to speed up the healing process and avoid acne scars. 3. COSRX - AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner This was the toner I had before switching to my current toner. It has a similar consistency to the Centella toner and I think it complemented my other AHA products nicely. 4. COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser Not a fan of this cleanser at all, but I will admit that it’s not a bad product. It did manage to make my skin smooth, soft, and ready for my routine. However, I prefer cream type cleansers to gel type. 5. COSRX - Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser This is actually my boyfriend’s cleanser, but he kept one at my place so when I used up my AM cleanser, I used this for a while. It lathers well but it’s also really drying, so get a nice moisturizer if you wanna use this product. 6. COSRX - Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence I only got this because I saw a lot of reviews hyping it online. Can’t say I noticed any considerable changes with this product. As an essence, it was rather moisturizing... and that was pretty much it. I didn’t get any breakouts or suffer from irritation though, so there’s that. 7. COSRX - Centella Blemish Cream I bought this product as spot treatment for my acne. It did work, sort of, but it was so slow that I’m not sure if it was even because of this product or if the pimples were simply at the end of their life. 😂 With a price of $20 for a 30ml tub though, I definitely didn’t think it was worth paying that much for a so-so product. I’ve been using COSRX for so long that I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting a few more products, but these are the ones I’ve tried in the last 3 years, at least. What about you? Let me know in the comments! 💋

Cᴏsʀx - AHA 7 Wʜɪᴛᴇʜᴇᴀᴅs Pᴏᴡᴇʀ Lɪϙᴜɪᴅ
This COSRX - AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid is what I am also using in my Korean skincare routine. I apply/use my Cosrx Aha every third day. AHA is like my toner, I apply this liquid using my fingers, I have applied this using the cotton pad but I think is just a waste. I have tried applying it with my hand patting it, Using the cotton pads and my hand It just feels like not much product is getting on my skin, so the best way for me is just pumping a little bit of liquid at the time on my 2 fingers and then applying section by section on my face, for me this is more effective and I can actually feel the product on my skin and I'm also not wasting it. I have used AHA 3 times in this 2 weeks period of using, I have seen changes in my skin of brightness, my white heads on my chin is slowly going too. I'll probably see more changes when I've used the whole bottle 😄. It's very gentle on my sensitive skin which is excellent. How I use my AHA step When I use my AHA I actually also don't use the COSRX - One Step Moisture Up Pad because it's feels like I'm just wiping off the product (I'm probably not) but is just me, so from AHA I skip the pad (I use the pad the next day) and use my COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence then the next step from there. So that's how I use my COSRX - AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid works perfectly fine on my dry sensitive skin. If you are using this product please share your experience so far? My skin type Dry/Sensitive Ingredients Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycolic Acid, Niacinamide, Sodium Hydroxide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Ethyl Hexanediol 📍Melbourne Australia Kindly, JPEREZ 💛

Morning Routine ☀️
I’ve been trying to incorporate more products into my morning routine so I can try out more and also take more time to self care before I start the day! 💕 What are you morning skincare favourites? Mini Review of each product @isntree Green Tea fresh Toner: I’ve been using this for a week now and I have been really enjoying it! It’s super lightweight so I like to use more hydrating products after for my dry skin. I find that this calms my skin and really preps it for the other products I layer over it. I think all skin types can benefit from this product but I think those with acne prone or oily skin will love this toner! I can’t wait to keep using this to see how my skin likes it. @belifcanada Bergamot Herbal Extract Toner: This is so lovely at hydrating the skin without being sticky. This is perfect for the morning because I feel so refreshed using it and it doesn’t irritate my skin! I also really liked this toner during the summer when my skin was more combo. This product just makes my overall complexion look more glowy and radiant. @bentoncosmetic Snail Bee High Content Essence (PR): This is so deeply hydrating! I’ve been loving this product ever since it’s been colder here! It’s also not sticky at all which is great since I don’t like sticky products for the day time. This makes my skin so plump and healthy! @logicallyskin , Skin Multi-lifting cream (PR) : I’m going to do a more in depth review of this very soon 😉 but I’ve really been enjoying this cream! @cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream: This is one of my top sunscreens because it sinks well into the skin, has no white cast and leaves the skin feeling so moisturized. I’ve been reaching for this one a lot lately due to the colder weather and it’s been great!!

#1 DERM ADVICE EVERYONE NEEDS👍🏽
for someone who has been dealing with acne for over 10 years, I’ve visited my fair share of derms and have done my own research through the web to find out more about ingredients and such to get my skin feeling and looking beautiful but also making sure it’s healthy 👌🏽 SWIPE👉🏽 to see me skin now vs a year ago 😛 So every single time anyone gives advice when it comes to have amazing skin is always about SPF! Sun protection is the #1 thing we all (girls & boys) regardless of skin concerns or skin types, everyone needs to find a good sunscreen to use!🌞 here are some reasons for sun protection and why it’s the most important skincare tip out there🤗 UV rays are some of the worst damage that can be done to your skin overtime and can lead to permanent damage to the skin Make sure to use a sunscreen everyday (365 days) regardless of if you are inside, outside, it’s raining or snowing, there is not sun etc. ( this has personally helped me a TON with my hyperpigmention from my acne) SPF helps make sure your skin is perfected to ensure the other products you do use to target things like fine lines, wrinkles, dull skin, hyperpigmention and acne actually works for you. Without using an SPF, you compromise the strength and integrating of all the expensive products you buy to help with your targeted skin concerns it OFC lowers your chance of skin cancer which is the most common form of cancer in the USA (legit just wear spf, like it’s not hard and this is super preventable) the best form of anti aging out there is a good SPF protecting you from both UVA & UVB so what are you waiting for? I’m sure we all want smooth skin but healthy skin is super important snd SPF is crucial for any kind of skin and all skin concerns 💕 also.... here are my two favourites! PURITO - Centella Green Level Safe Sun a great lightweight moisturizer; perfect for acne prone and oily skin types and melinated skin as this has NO white cast! COSRX - Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++ Great but this one isn’t better then the other as it has a SLIGHT white cast in the beginning and it’s not as hydrating as the purito one. If you like more of a matter finish to the skin, you will love this! Also non irritating at all! So that a plus for oily and sensitive skin #cheriepartner

Pores. Some people are lucky and don’t seem to have them others, like me, not so much. So what’s a girl/boy/person with big pores to do? Unfortunately, not much. You can’t shrink pores. All you can do is keep them clean and elastic, and keep your skin plump, as that makes them less visible. Keeping pores clean is best achieved with salicylic acid or other BHAs. Weekly clay masks are also a good idea. I use The Ordinary‘s Salicylic Acid 2% semi regularly and cosrx’s 2 in 1 Poreless Power Liquid twice a day (I use it like I would use a first toner, put it on a cotton pad and wipe my face). I also use deciem’s Pore Control serum. It contains niacinamide, which is the only ingredient that can help with pore elasticity. Apart from that: A good moisturiser and lots of water for skin plumpness are a good idea! So is a good primer that basically fills in your pores!

This is everything that I use (though I alternate most of these things, some are daily use) for my face/neck. Does anyone else use any of these? I’m obsessed with The Ordinary for the value CosRx for the quality, and also masking rn. I usually mask 3x a week now that outside is closed and I switch between sheet, overnight, and modeling. Though I’m looking for a peeling or clay mask for my very large t zone pores. Any recommendations?
